Chapter 1: 01 Reason - Nick Fury/Harry Potter - MCU

Chapter Text

“Nick!”

The man turned to look at his lover, sighing at the look in those green eyes.

“What is it, Harry?”

The other glared at him, “you actually have to ask me what there is? You know what it is that bugs me.”

Sighing again, he turned towards his lover, taking in the frown on their face, as well as the look in those green eyes, “I have a reason for doing this, Harry.”

Grumbling, the Brit threw his hands in the air, “so? What about me, about us? Are you telling me that you need to play dead just so whatever is going on can be resolved? Why would it need to be you, why can’t it be someone else who takes on this task, just this once.”

Nick shook his head, “you know I can’t do that, Harry, you know that you would have done the same thing, for the same reasons, were you in my shoes.”

Grumbling, the other man looked away before sighing, “I know, that doesn’t mean I like it.”

Approaching his lover, he wrapped his arms around the smaller man’s shoulders, pulling him to rest against his chest.

“I know that, but I need to do this, we all need to do something to make sure HYDRA won’t be able to operate in SHIELD’s shadow any longer. Especially with all the enhanced that are coming out of the woodwork.

With SHIELD looking over the Avengers, who knows what they’ll do with all those enhanced individuals at their beck and call. I will not stand for that, just as I know you won’t either.”

Sighing once again, Harry laid his head against his lover’s chest, “I know that; I know this is the best choice, for the best reasons, but I still don’t like it.

Why does it have to be Steve and Natasha, won’t you be able to call Tony and get him to go over everything in the SHIELD database? Exposing HYDRA like that?”

Nick shook his head, “Stark is one of their major targets, even at SHIELD he’s seen as a threat, should he ever turn rouge. HYDRA will never let it come to that, the moment they suspect anything, they’ll be initiating Project Insight a whole lot sooner than they’ll be planning on doing this.

Between Steve’s patriotism and Natasha’s spy qualities, they’ll be able to complete this mission, out HYDRA and stop project insight from ever starting – in a way that Stark would never be able to.”

Sighing once again, Harry nodded, before taking a step back, “and this has nothing to do with HYDRA’s interest in me?”

Nick shrugged, “that might be one of the reasons, after all you are one of the most powerful beings in the universe – being the Master of Death and all that, if they get a hold of you, who knows what that would mean for the rest of us.”

Harry snorted, “if I remember correctly, that was the exact reason you came after me in the 90’s, to see what it was that I could do for SHIELD and how they, and you, could use me in the bigger picture.”

Nick looked away, “I must admit that wasn’t the best move I made, but I am glad I did, seeing as it made me meet you and see that only mistrusting enhanced individuals wouldn’t bring us to where we wanted to go. Add to that my encounter with Carol, and the idea of the Avengers started to form.”

“Only down point is that with you making contact with several enhanced, aliens or mutants, so did HYDRA, and we all know what they used that knowledge for.”

Nick nodded, “it’s again one of the reasons I need SHIELD and HYDRA to be separated, I know what we could accomplish if we came out into the open and operated in the best interest of those enhanced. Away from HYDRA we can work towards protecting the Earth from villains, as well as another invasion.

If New York though me anything, it is that the best choices are our own, as well as that an invasion is inevitable – it is just a matter of time, which will only be made difficult if we’re fighting an inside enemy.”

Looking away, Harry nodded, “it is inevitable.”

Looking down at the other man, Nick frowned, “you know something.”

Harry nodded again, “I do, but I can’t share it, I cannot mess with some of the fundamental truths of the universe, even if I know more than I can share. This piece of information could potentially alter the outcome of what is going to happen, should I share it.”

Nick frowned, “so again, the right reason not to share it.”

Harry smiled sadly, “I know, I shouldn’t question your reasons to do something, even if I don’t like it, when I do the exact same thing – with you not liking it.”

Nick sighed, before pulling the Brit close, pressing a kiss to the other’s lips, “I promise this isn’t a forever goodbye, I will be able to see you again, it just might take me some time.”

Reaching up to his tip toes, Harry pressed a kiss of his own to Nick’s lips, “I know, see you soon.”

Standing in front of his computer Harry frowned at all the things he saw appearing, his eyes growing larger and larger at what he was seeing. Growling at the implication of seeing this information on the internet of all things.

Nick had wanted this to be resolved without all this information becoming public knowledge, this, seeing this, would put so many people at risk. Putting his hands on the keyboard he started to try and contain this.

Sending a message to Tony Stark in an effort to have both of them bending over this in trying to protect all these people SHIELD had files on, as not all of them would be HYDRA – and to put all these people in jeopardy was a bad move.

Hours later, when he was sure everything was contained, and salvaged what was salvageable, Harry opened up his phone and typed his message, ‘it was for the wrong reason’, before hitting send – hoping that he and Tony had managed to fix this, protecting all those that had no connections to HYDRA whatsoever, but who were still tossed to the sharks because of what Cap and Widow did.

A beep of his phone made him look, a ‘I know, I’m sorry’, appearing on the screen. Shaking his head, Harry went back to look over the files, hoping that none of the information HYDRA had wanted had been up for the grabs, but he doubted that. The future was looking very glum, and the pulling sensation he could feel in his mind hinted at a great number of deaths in the last few hours. So much for doing this, and picking Steve and Natasha for the right reasons, if this is the outcome.

Chapter 2: 02 Outcome - Loki/Harry Potter - MCU

Chapter Text

Harry could do nothing except choke alongside his soulmate as the other man, God, was being held by the Mad Titan, his throat crushed under the force of the being’s powerful grip – all because the delusional self-proclaimed saviour of the Universe thought that by killing off half the population in said universe, he would gain the affections of Death.

Death didn’t have affections, in fact Death wasn’t even a person – it was a next instalment and sister to Life, one part of a continuous cycle in the universe.

There was however the Master of Death, a being that rose above the notion of dying and living again, this being couldn’t die, ever, it could only oversee everything that was the universe, everything that died, and everything that was born again.

The thing that Thanos was looking for, the being he sought to woo – wasn’t there – there was only he, The Master of Death, who had tried to stay as far away from the Mad Titan as he could, less the man saw him as Death and an answer to his efforts.

Now however, Harry had wished he did stay closer, to the different worlds and the people that inhabited them. To those that reminded him of himself, eons ago, those few who would give their own life to save the universe.

But standing here, in the shadows of a spaceship carrying the remains of a once great civilisation, looking on as the Mad Titan chocked the life out of the person that was his soul-mate, he knew that he needed to chance the outcome. Make sure this didn’t happen, and make sure Thanos wouldn’t reach the completion of his gauntlet, and with it the end of his self-appointed mission.

For this, for his soulmate, he would change the outcome and intervene with what is happening here, make sure we would get a chance to get to know his soul-mate and the other people willing to fight for the continuous survival of the Universe.

Seeing the life slipping out of his soul-mate’s eyes, he held on – made sure it didn’t leave him completely. Bending the shadows around him, he made himself visible to the people on the ship, among them the Titan himself.

Who stopped choking the Joutun, turning towards him as he seemingly flowed out of the shadows to stand in front the Asgardians and followers of the Mad Titan. All of whom looked shocked at the extra presence now in their midst.

“Who are you?”

Looking at the Titan, Harry tilted his head to the side, “I think you know, Titan.”

Grinning, the being went on one knee, his followers soon imitating him, while the Asgardians looked on in slight fear, apprehension and unknowing of what it was he stood for.

He did however notice Thor helping Loki to stand, a warmth spreading through him as seeing that bond not lost after everything that had happened between them.

Turning back to the Titan and his following, he grimaced when the being bends his head.

“Death, you have headed my call, have you enjoyed the gifts I gave?”

Harry snorted, “the being of Death isn’t a being, Titan, you have been looking for the wrong kind of affection, especially to one such as I – Death is one of the undisputed truths in the universe, where there is Death, so is there Life – they are different sides to the same coin, and a cycle that had been around for as long as there was life in the Multiverse. The fact that you seek to destroy that cycle does not grand you any boons, affections or protection.”

The Titan looked at him, “then if you are not Death, who are you?”

Arching an eyebrow, Harry answered, “the personification of the entity watching over the cycle – one outside of it, to make sure beings like you don’t act rashly to disturb the very fibres of the universe we live in.”

Grinding his teeth, the Titan stood, his gauntlet posed to strike, “so you are but a mocking of Lady Death.”

As he tried to snap his fingers, Harry took a hold of them, wrenching the gauntlet off his hand and into his own.

“You must not have been paying attention, I am above everything in this universe, including Death, harming me will be impossible for one such as you to comprehend, and to accomplish. Now begone.”

With that, Harry snapped his fingers without the help of the gauntlet, transporting the Titan and all his following to a distant part of the multiverse – as the guardian over the cycle he couldn’t just kill or give life, he had certain rules to follow, and with it not being the Titan’s time yet, he couldn’t take that away.

Turning to the Asgardians, he could see that most of them had armed themselves, which was an obvious reflex, especially so close after an encounter with the Mad Titan.

Holding up his hands, he spoke, “I won’t do you any harm, Asgardian.”

The one known as Thor approached, “then why is you are here?”

Harry tilted his head again, “because I had a soul bond crying out for help.”

The blond blinked, before turning to look at his brother, “Loki?”

Loki looked down, “I knew I had my one out there, but that they wouldn’t be in the position to come close to me because of their position. As such, I always suspected they were one of the races you, and Odin, were at odds with.”

Looking at the other dark haired, green eyed man in front of him, he continued, “I never would have guessed it was because they were the overseer of the universe’s cycle.”

Harry looked away, “I had not planned on finding you, even if my own soul longed for it, as I didn’t want to encourage the Mad Titan in his mad schemes. Yet, when I felt your soul call out to me, I couldn’t help but approach and change the outcome of what would have happened here otherwise.”

Turning to Thor, he added, “Thanos will not stop, you need to get to another inhabitable planet as soon as possible and put them on alert – The Mad Titan will not stop his quest here, not even when I hold the stones he already collected.”

Thor nodded, “we were setting course to Midgard, in an effort to rouse our shield brothers there to fight with us against the invading powers of Thanos.”

Harry nodded, “that will give you some time to prepare, I send Thanos and his ilk to a far corner of the universe, but I doubt that will give you more than a few months. I wish you luck.”

Loki looked at his soul mate, “you are not joining us?”

Harry shook his head, “I shouldn’t have been able to change the outcome of this, yet I did, this shouldn’t be possible, I have to find out what this means for all of us. I will find you again as soon as I know that.”

Loki nodded, not looking totally convinced, but he could read between the lines. Had his soul mate not intervened he wouldn’t have survived this confrontation with Thanos. As such he was glad to have been able to meet his soul mate, but not happy that it would take a long time before he could see the other again.

Chapter 3: 03 FRIDAY - Tony Stark/Harry Potter - MCU

Chapter Text

Harry looked up when he suddenly got a message on his phone, frowning the Brit took out the device and read the missive that came through. His eyes going wide as he finished it, stopping everything he was doing, making sure nothing could react with one another, and ran towards where the wards over his property ended.

Dissapperating the moment he had passed the wards, Harry concentrated on getting to the coordinates he had gotten as soon as possible.

Getting there, he put in an earbud.

“FRIDAY?”

Static greats him, before an Irish voice greet him, “Mr. Potter, I lost connection with Boss about an hour ago, last I knew he was fighting off Captain America and Sergeant Burnes.”

Harry blinked a few times, “do you know why they were fighting?”

FRIDAY replied, “apparently the Winter Soldier is responsible for the death of Mr. and Mrs. Stark all those years ago. Boss was shown a clip of that night.”

Scoffing, Harry said, “and Stars and Stripes protected his precious Bucky, not taking into account what a trauma victim can do on one of those moments.”

Static came back, before FRIDAY said, “it was also because Mr. Rogers had known since he and Ms. Romanova had found and put the HYDRA files online.”

Harry chocked, “excuse me?”

Shaking his head, grinding his teeth at that information, Harry ran inside the bunker he could see in front of him, making his way through the hallways at FRIDAY’s direction, making his way towards the main room where at one point the other Winter Soldiers were stored, for lack of a better word.

Frowning, he made his way towards the middle of the room, skidding to his knees as he saw the armour laying there, Tony’s face was revealed, pale from the pain and the cold.

Feeling one cheek, Harry hissed at the icy feel of it, taking out a pair of glasses – not that he needed those anymore after taking a potion at 17 – he put them up, seeing all kinds of data appear.

“Alright FRIDAY, tell me.”

“Boss is severely hypothermic, I can make out several internal injuries, the most pressing ones being around his ribs and sternum. Several ribs are broken and could puncture organs should he be moved. I can also detect several other broken bones, but they are in the limbs, so not that pressing.

Boss does have a punctured lung, bruising to his abdomen which his upset his bowels and a broken nose.”

Harry cursed, “thanks FRIDAY, taking out a pouch from his pocket, Harry enlarged it and took out several muggle safe potions which he spelled directly into Tony’s stomach. Directly after that he cast a gradually heating spell over the other man, not wanting to have the genius go into shock by the suddenly warm temperatures around him.

“Friday, check on the status of Tony’s ribs.”

“They seem to be on the mend, Mr. Potter.”

Nodding, Harry approached and looked for the hitch that let him undo the armour manually, finding it, he started with taking away the chest plate, putting every piece into a mokeskin pouch, so he could take all the pieces back home – not having to fear anyone finding them.

He left the back plate in place, to give Tony some support as he moved him – it was one of the things he knew from trauma victims, even if FRIDAY did a scan, there’s still the possible of neck or back injuries.

“FRIDAY, I’m going to take him back to my place. Can you notify Pepper and Rhodey?”

“Pepper I can notify, Colonel Rhodes in in surgery at this moment.”

Looking up, Harry gaped, “what do you mean Rhodey is in surgery?”

Standing there and listening to what FRIDAY was telling him, Harry grinded his teeth, thinking or almost not believing his stupid Captain America really was. Not only that, but what an asshole he was for not even listening to Tony as the things the genius said.

Looking at the other man a grim smile came to his face, “you idiot, you should have called me. You know I have a lot more connections in the enhanced community, you should really learn not to want to do anything yourself.”

Taking out the earbud, Harry put a hand on Tony, concentrated and made the trip back to his house, taking the genius with him. Now came the healing journey, one where he would be there for this amazing man that had given him so much. He would not let this go unpunished.

After having put Tony to bed and calling Pepper to let him know in what conditions he had found the genius, the redhead asked what he planned to do.

“I want to go over all the information I can about the Avengers, Shield and this while Civil War bullshit. If what I suspect is true, I will not leave it at that and make sure this gets out – everyone should need to know what kind of people they looked up to, if they do something like this to their ‘friends’.

After that I want to look into the accords and see if I can’t sign, I’ll reach out to others and see if we can’t have a greater pool to recruit from, one never knows what the future holds.

Also, if you agree, I want to release the footage I retrieved from the bunker, as well as anything FRIDAY recorded from what happened at the bunker, if only to do Tony a favour.”

The other side of the line stayed silent for a long time, before Pepper’s voice came through, “I’m trusting you in this, I just want justice to be served to those people who thought Tony to be nothing more than a doormat and a credit card, he deserves so much more.”

Harry chuckled, “Pepper, that would be my utmost pleasure.”

Ending the call with the CEO of Stark Industries, Harry put his glasses back on, as well as his earbud back in, “FRIDAY, I know you were listening, can you bring me up to speed.”

After getting all the information he needed, Harry grinded his teeth.

“FRIDAY, what did Tony gather on Ross?”

“Everett or Thaddeus?”

“Thaddeus Ross, please.”

Seeing all the information appearing, Harry made sure he sends all this information to the right people, knowing that they won’t have a problem with Ross anymore after that.

Taking out his phone, Harry looks for a number and calls the number, when the other person picks up, he asks, “ready to come out into the light?”

The answer he gets makes him smile, “great, let the others know, I have to make some more calls.”

As he ended the call, he looked at the picture in front of him, of Tony laying there in the bunker, “FRIDAY, upload all we have on what happened in the bunker in segments, throw in anything you think is relevant to showing the world just who their heroes really are.”

“You got it, Mr. Potter.”

Nodding, Harry called someone else, “Wade, I’m calling in that favour, can you come to my place?”

Without waiting for an answer, Harry hung up, calling up the next number he had stored into his phone. It took him an hour, after which he went to check up on his patient, finding the other man looking a lot better than he was looking first.

“Mr. Potter, Peter Parker is trying to reach Boss, can I connect him to you.”

Harry hummed, hearing the tone in his earbud change, a young voice filtering through.

“Mr. Stark, I am so glad I managed to get a hold of you, I don’t know what is going on but Happy told me to stay in my room, but I worried.”

Harry chuckled, “I’m not Mr. Stark, kid.”

Silence met his from the other side, “then who are you?”

“His husband, Harrison Potter-Stark, what can I do for you?”

“His husband, wow, Mr. Stark sure is an icon, sad to know that not a lot of people know he married another man. Still, is Mr. Stark ok?”

Smiling, “we’ve been married for quite some years now, to be honest, but I never liked the spotlight, so I stayed away from it. Pepper is a good friend of both of us, so she profiles herself, so others think she and Tony are an item. This is not relevant, Tony is mending, I advise you to keep an eye on the internet, Mr. Parker, everything will be cleared up. Should you want to speak to me again, FRIDAY can patch you through.”

After getting thanked by the young man, Harry promised himself he would have a talk with Tony about involving teenagers, but not his husband. Sighing, he took a seat next to the other man, keeping an eye on him, while he made plans to approach the counsel, together with all the others he knew would follow him.

It was time the world knew just who else lived on this planet and were more than willing to fight for its survival. Looking at his husband, he grimaced, and to show them that a science project, a failed one at that, would never be the strongest force out there.

Looking sideways at the scythe standing there, he grinned, time for the world, and its enemies to meet the Master of Death, and all the connections he held.

Chapter 4: 04 Undeciveness - Xanxus di Vongola/Harry Potter - Katekyou Hitman Reborn

Chapter Text

Harry started throwing things the moment he entered his own home, once again coming back from a meeting with his lover. Said lover had asked him to meet up, for the third time already, always looking like there was something he wanted to say – only for that to never be said.

He was sick and tired of that, of the way his lover was indecisive about what he wanted to tell him, Harry could see there had been something Xanxus had wanted today, the other man just hadn’t been able to say it – which was frustrating!

Storming over once his phone started ringing, he looked at the caller ID and almost threw the phone across the room.

Taking a few calming breaths, he picked up, biting out, “if you ask me to meet up again one more time, without saying anything, don’t bother.”

The other side stayed quiet for a moment, before his lover’s deep voice spoke, “I just don’t know how to tell you this.”

Harry scowled, before sighing, “then make up your mind about telling, or not, I might not be the Sky you are, but I am still active, and have enough control to know there is something you want to tell me – have wanted to tell me, several times, only to not tell me anything at all.

It is frustrating to go on a date, only for said date to not say anything at all for an entire evening, three days in a row.

So, decide what you’re going to do, and do it, instead of making this all so very uncomfortable.”

The deep voice came back, “you know about flames?”

Harry sighed, “yes, I also know you’re Don Vongola’s youngest son, adopted as he might be and I know you’re very sneakily trying to plan a coup to overthrow your father, which won’t work as you don’t have his, or another Vongola’s blood, and cannot inherit.”

Silence once again met him from the other line, making Harry sigh, “that was what you were trying to tell me.”

A hum came from the other end, “kind of. Didn’t know how to tell you this whole Mafia shit without scaring you off.”

Harry scoffed, “Xanxus, trust me, you couldn’t scare me off even if you tried.”

“But you would have left if I stayed quiet.”

Harry hummed, “well, yeah, I got attracted to this loud-mouth, brash and potty-mouthed man, not a statue. For a second I feared all that was a mask and not the real you – because let me tell you, I cannot be together with someone who won’t talk to me.”

“Understandable.”

“Great, now can we meet up again? I’ve always wanted to see the Varia headquarters.”

Xanxus laughed, “yeah, I’ll come and pick you up in an hour. We have a lot to talk about. And I can’t wait to introduce you to everyone, the old man might just have a heart attack.”

Harry grinned, “and ask Belphegor to catch you up on the Magical World, will you, it will make our conversation a whole lore easier.”

A sputtering came from the other side, followed by a ‘WHAT!?”

Harry laughed, “if you have the magical prince of Prussia living at the Varia, you must know more than you let on. Ask him to tell you about lordships in England and I’ll fill in the rest.”

Before waiting for an answer, Harry ended the call, starting to laugh soon after, to think that the leader of the Vongola’s Varia was scared to tell his lover that he was in the Mafia, killed other people for a living, and wanted to tell him he was flame active was just too funny.

Holding out a hand, orange flames sprung to life, Sky Flames represented harmonisation after all, and that had always been something he had been good at, even before becoming the Master of Death. Xanxus would be in for quite the surprise in an hour.

Chapter Text

Amaryllis was sitting on the hillside in Sphinx, looking over the harbour and further out the sea, hoping her lover would be able to come by again, so she could see him and see just how he made his dream a reality – when he had left her on their home island, well his home island, it was the island she had landed on in an effort to get away from her home dimension.

He had left with the Rocks Pirates because he wanted to explore the sea and work on his own dream, which was to have a family of his own. They had tried to have biological children before he left, but with everything that had happened to her, she couldn’t conceive.

Fearing that he would leave her, her beloved Newgate, she had waited on telling him until she couldn’t deny it anymore. While it hurt him, he told her he loved her too much and wanted to build a future for them together.

He had left with the Rocks Pirates to get enough money together to start his own crew, wanting to call them his sons and daughters – being their father figure, and hopefully having her as their mother figure. Newgate had always told her she was so very caring and willing to take care of others.

Not that long ago, she had read in the paper that the captain of the Rocks Pirates had been killed in an altercation with the Marines, disbanding the Rocks Pirates with it. Newgate had already let her know that he had enough money to start on his own, and even had a few members to add to their family.

Smiling, she read over the letter again, happy to hear from him again. Most of the other of Sphinx knew about Newgate but thought her anything but normal fer being willing to wait for a Pirate – one according to them, who could find any lass on one of the islands he found while out on the sea.

But she refused to believe that, neither She nor Newgate had ever been normal, neither would start being that now – with both of them well into their fifties.

She had feared that something would happen to her lover while he was out on the sea, that worry had been laid to rest when Death appeared in front of her the moment, she started stressing about it. Letting her know that just because she wasn’t in her home world, that her title disappeared.

With her still being the Mistress of Death, she was immortal, as would the people she wanted to, after all, Death didn’t want his Mistress to be sad, not when he had chosen her as his companion and friend until the end of time, and while he didn’t need relationships, or lasting bonds, he did need her, and she needed these things.

She hadn’t told Newgate, but wanted to the next time she saw him, to explain to him, and to any children they had now that he would start building his own crew. She looked forward to it, and to meeting new people to look after.

Looking around she was once again reminded that while Sphinx had a lot of amazing memories for her, she had grown bored of the life there was to live on it. It wasn’t the quietist island, nor the most peaceful, bur after fighting for her life, multiple times, in her younger years, she wanted action, and adventure, and people around her she cared about.

As such, she was really looking forward to seeing Newgate again, and meeting the people he had claimed as theirs. After meeting Death again, she was also comforted that nothing would happen to him, or their children, as long as she drew breath – so even if no one knew it yet, the Whitebeard Prates would be around for a very, very long time to come.

Glancing at the sea again, a huge smile appeared on her face at seeing the ship setting in on the horizon, as well as the jolly Roger she could make out even from her place on the hills, the moustache the skull sported easily recognizable as the same one her lover sported.

Smiling widely, Amaryllis stood and made her way down the hill, looking forward to getting to know her new family members.

With the way she didn’t age anymore, and couldn’t hold onto a glamour, it was decided that Amaryllis would stay on Sphinx more time, as they got older, and the second age of Pirates was well on its way with the Death of Gol D. Roger.

Hating it at times, Amaryllis knew this was the best thing she could do to protect her family, and to make sure her husband, and their children could enjoy the sea for a long time to come – there would be a time where they would sail together again.

However, when she saw an article in the News that foretold the execution of one of her sons, even if she hadn’t met the boy yet, she wasn’t just going to sit around and wait until it happened. Especially not when she had to rush to the Moby Dick when one of their children had turned on them and tried to kill Thatch.

Now, this article, smelt of a conspiracy, one she was sure wanted to take the life of her husband, just because of what he was, and what he stood for.

Preparing she knew that because of the delay on the Coo, she was better off getting to Marineford and managing what there was to manage instead of going to the Moby Dick and having the odds that her sons and husband didn’t let her help.

Touching down in the bay at Marineford, she had to scowl at the people she saw around her. There was no one on the execution platform anymore, in fact there was no platform anymore. Grinning, she knew she needed to meet the child that managed to have that destroyed.

Turning again, she saw white with fury at seeing Marco, gentle, hard-headed, and stern Marco bound by seastone chains, getting shot down by the admiral she knew to be Kizaru, the bounds stopping him from using his phoenix powers and healing.

Appearing in front of him, she lobbed the head of the Admiral straight off with her scythe, these people would learn that it wasn’t her husband they had to fear, but her – even at just under 7 feet, she wasn’t the tallest person around, but she knew how to use her weapons and magic to her advantage.

With one Admiral down, she approached Marco and released his bounds, making him heal, only to gape as he noticed her standing there.

“Mom!”

Grinning at the blond, she said, “you didn’t think I’d leave all the fun to your Father and you boys, now did you?”

Looking away, she had to laugh at the look on his face, he had hoped she would – in a misguided way to protect her no doubt. Marco had been one of the first sons Newgate brought with him, a young boy of 14 or 15 years old, taken on to be an apprentice on the ship. She had seen that young boy grow up to be the Ship’s doctor, first mate and first division commander.

Patting his cheek, she grinned, “now, bring me up to speed.”

In a rushed voice, Marco told her of what happened and who on the field was one of theirs. Or related to theirs, she found out it was Ace’s little brother that had destroyed, or managed to get the marines to destroy, the execution platform.

Marco chuckled, “Oyaji had the exact same look in his eyes at meeting Luffy, I’m afraid you won’t get to him, mom, Luffy wants to be Pirate King, he won’t sail under another flag.”

Amaryllis waved her hand, “schematics, he might still want parents, we have more crews among out children then just out own.”

Shrugging, Marco agreed with her, before he looked up and turned her around with him, seeing the Admiral Akainu approaching a downed boy, not much older than Marco was once he first met her. Another jumped in front of the boy, the tattoo on his back proclaiming her to be one of hers, so this must be Luffy and Ace.

Appearing between Ace and Akainu, she stopped the manga attack, saving Ace’s life. Pushing the exhausted boy to his brother, she held her ground against the Mad Dog.

“Who are you to stand between Ultimate Justice, Woman?”

Amaryllis laughed, “what other need does a mother need to stand between a threat and her sons?”

Seeing the confused looks on most of the people around her, Amaryllis was glad when Marco suddenly appeared above them, a grin on his face and a Den-Den in his hand, giving it to her.

Hearing her husband’s voice on the other end, she screamed, “honey, I’m home”, into the receiver.

The loud laughter of Whitebeard threatening to disturb the land they were on, followed by a bellow only a Pirate Captain could give.

“Children, go help your mother.”

Akainu’s face constricted, a glare directed at her only made her smile wider, no matter what the man tried, he wouldn’t succeed. As he pulled an arm back, the magma once more appearing, Amaryllis brandished her scythe again, separating his head from his body – they would realise that she was the most dangerous person on these seas, and messing with her or her family meant certain death.

Looking past the others towards the buildings of Marineford, she locked eyes with Garp and Sengoku, both men having met her once already. Both men also nodded once, before calling for the retreat, knowing that now that she appeared, nothing could make the Marines win this battle.

Turning, she saw her children helping Ace and Luffy onto the Moby, several of her older children coming up to great her, before explaining to their siblings just who she was, the look of awe in their faces never getting old.

Finally approaching her husband, she made sure to wave her hand, reapplying the glamour he had on, which also took away any injuries he might have had, or appeared to have. Pressing a kiss to his lips as the man bend down to meet her, she smiled as they looked over their children.

She might have made a statement with this, but then again, doing things the normal way was just plain boring. She liked the crazy way she had of handling things, and the amazing, crazy family she and her husband had build fer themselves.

Notes:

Amaryllis means 'to sparkle', and is a flower from the same botanical family as Lily (so though it fitting)

Chapter 6: 06 Sleepless Tony Stark/Harry Potter - sequel to 03 - MCU

Chapter Text

A small touch to his arm, made Harry look up from where he was watching over Tony’s rising and falling chest. As the genius was still cold, kept in an artificial coma, the movement of the man’s chest was the only indication he had that his lover was still alive.

Humming, he locked eyes with the bright blue of Pepper Potts, the CEO of Stark Industries, and best friend to both him and the man currently laying in the bed.

“Any changes?”

Harry shook his head, “Helen did what she could, but with everything that happened, and even the potions I administrated, he still won’t wake up.”

Pepper sighed, thinking back about the frantic call she had received when after 24 hours, Tony hadn’t gotten any better, even after everything Harry had done with magic, he kept being out of it, with no sign of coming out of the coma.

With the passing of that 24 hour window, Harry had made his way to Stark Tower, and to doctors Cho and Wu, in an effort to use Muggle medicine to keep Tony within the land of the living, even after one flat line on the table, both doctors had managed to pull him through, but to be on the safe side, they had started the procedure of an artificial coma to make sure Tony wasn’t in any pain.

This had been almost 2 weeks ago, making it exactly 2 weeks since the so called civil war happened. It had also been 2 weeks since Harry had gotten a good nights rest.

After going over anything and everything FRIDAY forwarded to him, as well as everything he could find on the accords, Harry couldn’t help but think about the other members of the Avengers, who hadn’t even taken the time to read it through.

Yes, it was a rough draft, with a lot of room for improvement. Not only that, but it was open to improvement, the UN encouraged that even. But now thanks to the actions of one man, almost everything was shot to hell.

With the Avengers disbanded, and the three remaining members incapacitated, the UN felt it a lost cause, after all – they could hardly force these measures onto civilians, even if those civilians were enhanced.

Harry wouldn’t let that happen, after making the calls the moment he had found Tony, he called everyone he knew, who owed him one, or who he knew would help and explained to them, in detail, just what Tony had seen when he went through the wormhole back in 2012. Not only that, but he told certain individuals that he had a source that confirmed to him that the Mad Titan was indeed on route to Earth.

Without sounding desperate, he told them to spread the world to any enhanced willing to read and sign the accords, and in return who wanted to belong and fight for this world they had as much right to live in as the rest.

“Have you gotten any sleep at all, lately?”

Looking back at Pepper, Harry shook his head, “a few hours here and there, been going sleepless most of the time.”

The redhead clicked her tongue, “that isn’t healthy either.”

Harry scoffed, “what’s it going to do, kill me?”

Pepper frowned at him, “you shouldn’t joke about that, Harry.”

Harry scoffed again, “what that I can’t die? And that the only reason I’m sane is because of Tony and Yinsen in that cave in Afghanistan? I had been captured by a group of terrorists, who tired every trick in the book in the hope that I died – all because of some missed sense of belief that by killing me, they would inherit these powers I possess.”

Taking a deep breath, Harry looked at Tony again, “he saved me, from myself, and from the 10 Rings. Yet, when he needs me, I wasn’t there to help him, and look where that took us.”

“Harry! You can’t think like that, after what happened, Tony knew you didn’t want the spotlight on you, and as such he didn’t let you know what was going on. He would have, after everything was over with, and he knew Ross couldn’t get to you, and the accords wouldn’t take you away from him.”

Looking at Tony, Harry let a small smile grace his lips, “that sound like him alright.”

Sighing, Pepper took a seat next to him, “so, am I to presume you’re the driving force behind the accords now, as well as the reason so many enhanced have come forward to sign it?”

Harry grinned at her, “of course I am, you didn’t think I would let his hard work go to waste.”

Pepper shook her head, a smile on her face, “am I to presume then, that you’re also the reason why certain clips and fragments of the SI security footage ended up on the internet?”

Harry’s face darkened, “I wasn’t going to let them get away with everything they have done to Tony, not what they said about him behind their back. But most importantly, I wanted everyone to see just what their supposed hero, Captain America, did to a grieving, trauma riddled man, the moment he finds out what had happened to his parents – and that the asshole had known, for two years, and didn’t bother telling him.”

Pepper gaped at him, “he had known…”

Harry nodded, “for two years, but with the weapon that killed Howard and Maria, wearing the face of his best friend, he didn’t trust Tony not to overreact.”

“Which he did now, as he was overwhelmed with it. This is… what an awful man.”

Harry nodded, “I think he can fool everyone, even himself into thinking that he is the good guy in this picture.”

Pepper sniffed, “I looked at everything you posted online, and part of the things I can see or hear them talking about are corporate secrets.”

Harry grinned, “I edited those out of the files I uploaded to the internet, so no rival can get any ideas. However, I would love it if you were to slap a lawsuit onto them for that, as well as a lot of other instances.”

Pepper nodded, “let me get in touch with legal, they will be sorry they touched, talked bad about, or mistreated Tony. I won’t let this go, not after everything he did for them.”

Harry nodded, “that’s not even half of it, I have proof that Wanda Maximoff messed with Tony’s mind, which in turn lead to the creation of Ultron, helped about by the Mind Stone. All the others always reacted like it was Tony’s fault Ultron came to life – not Dr. Banner’s who was in the same room, or even a chance encounter. They were all too happy to appoint Tony as their scapegoat. And I won’t stand for that, I’ll make sure that Tony heals, in every way he needs healing.

I’ll make sure the accords pick up pace and reach every corner of this Earth, to make sure we have a fighting force ready for whatever enemy that comes knocking next.

But most importantly, I’m done hiding while Tony had sleepless nights and awful days, I need to be there for him, just like he has always been there for me, now more so then ever. We have an inking as to what will come, and I will make sure we’re ready for that – that the world in ready for it, and that no one in their right mind will think to bring those bastards back from whatever hole they crawled into.”

A rough voice interrupted them, “I always knew you were plotting world domination behind my back, Green Eyes.”

Looking up, both Pepper and Harry were greeted by an awake Tony, who was smiling softly at them.

Chapter 7: 07 Tense - the Soul King/Harry Potter - Bleach

Notes:

I know this is really short, but's it dubs as a teaser for the rewrite of 'Death's soulmate' I hope to do later this year.

Chapter Text

“You look tense, my love.”

Looking up, Harry locked eyes with the being standing next to him, their hood not revealing anything except a pointed chin. Even if he could feel the other’s eyes on him and knew he had locked eyes even if he couldn’t see them.

“It isn’t everyday one gets to meet a cousin from the other side the world. And not just an ordinary cousin, no, this cousin happens to be a perfect mix of a Quincy, Hollow and Shinigami.”

Death, or the Soul King, looked fondly as his partner stressed over something, he knew was pointless.

“you do not need to worry, my love, release the tension building up. This meeting will go swell, meaning you once again will have a family.”

Harry looked at the Other, “and this is in no way related to the fact that Aunt Masaki’s children are all Spirit Sensitive, so will be seeing you as well – giving me a family that you can interact with too.”

The Soul King just looked at him, making him believe he was right in thinking this, after all, his soulmate had been all alone for a very long time, ruling over the realm of the Death all alone. It had been in a fit of boredom, that he had ventured into the world of the living, to ‘gift’ relics to a trio of brothers.

He knew that the person who managed to reunite all those relics was the person who would be his own soulmate, at least, when they would do so unintentionally, without searching for them.

Years, decades; and millennia passed, until Harry came along as was shocked to find his soulmate waiting for him on the other side, when he willingly took the Killing Curse for a second time, to protect all those he loved.

The explanation he had gotten had seemed too far-fetched, and unbelievable, yet when he returned from the in-between and quickly noticed that he couldn’t get hurt and didn’t age – which wasn’t that noticeable at the beginning, but after years, people started to notice and speculate.

He had, had to flee the Magical Community after rumours started about him being the next Dark Lord, he had found his soul-mate again and was willing to listen to the story his other half told him, not able to ignore everything that had been said the first time.

With no one left, his baby godson dying before he was born together with his parents, Harry was free of anyone with blood ties with him. That was until his lover told him that wasn’t the case. His mother had an older brother, one not even Petunia kept in contact with.

This brother, Harry’s uncle, had a daughter, Masaki, with a Japanese woman, after he moved to the Eastern Country, not knowing just what kind of life his daughter would have.

Masaki had married a bound Shinigami, after the Shinigami saved her from a Hollow, but this in turn gifted their first born son – Ichigo – with the powers of a Quincy, Hollow and Shinigami.

After knowing that, he also found out that his soul-mate was in essence the leader of the Shinigami, and the Hollows, even if that part was forgotten. He had also told him that Ichigo would be playing a huge part in what was going to come next.

With that knowledge, Harry had learned Japanese, in an effort to reach out for a cousin he had never met, to aid him when times became difficult. He had first-hand experience with being the figure head in what was happening, and having family who could help, would have made all the difference.

Which brought him here to Karakura town, to meet said cousin. Hoping to not sound like a total lunatic when he tried to explain he could help the young man with his ghost sensitivity.

Taking a deep breath, he was trying to let go of all the tension, he couldn’t do more than try anyhow. Whatever happened, happened, and whatever needed to happen would happen anyway – if he wanted it to, or not.

Exchanging one last look with his soul-mate, Harry got out of the house, setting out to the meeting spot they had agreed on, a public park – his cousin wasn’t a fool then.

Sitting on a bench in the middle of the parc, his green jacket blending into the surroundings, Harry hoped he was noticeable enough. His fears appeared ungrounded, when a lanky teenager took a seat next to him.

“I assume you’re my cousin then.”

Harry nodded, “Harry, or Haru if you’d prefer. Nice to meet you Ichigo.”

The orange haired boy looked at the black haired man next to him, “Haru then, nice to meet you too. What made you travel here?”

Harry shrugged, “I don’t have any other family yet, and I hope you might need me as much as I know I need you and your family.”

Ichigo hummed, “then why not reach out to Oyaji?”

Harry snorted, “no thanks, from what I gathered he’s a very… enthusiastic man, a bit too enthusiastic man for my tastes. Not only that, but you’re not that much younger than I am. Figured I’m be better off with my 15 year-old cousin, when I’m only 19.”

Ichigo blinked, “you look older.”

Harry nodded, “I know, so do you. Some… some experiences ages you, as I am sure you know.”

A faraway look came to Ichigo’s eyes, before the teen nodded, “yeah, I know.”

Harry smiled, “if she was anything like my Mother, she would have given her life with all the love a mother holds. She did what she felt she had to do, remember her fondly, but don’t blame yourself for what happened.”

Ichigo looked at him, making Harry explain, “Mom stood between me and an outside force which wanted me dead, giving her life so I could live. I still miss her, even if I never got a chance to really know her, I love the idea of her and want to make sure she’s proud of the man I am today.”

Ichigo nodded, “I know she’s be proud, but that doesn’t make it easier.”

“It never gets easier, but you learn how to place it, and to live with it.”

A scream further down in the parc had both of them looking up, Ichigo looking at him.

“You heard that?”

Harry nodded, “a hollow, not that far away.”

Back in his own dimension, The Soul King looked on as his lover bonded with his cousin, turning he grinned and though about how this would change the outcome. He wasn’t alone, and Ichigo would have an extra hand when he did all the things he would do in Soul Society, in Hueco Mundo and in the world of the living – he was looking forward to i!

Chapter 8: 08 Forehead - undecided (Teen Wolf)

Notes:

I'm sorry it's so short :/

Chapter Text

Harry rested his forehead onto the glass of the plane window, finally he was getting out of the toxic zone that was Wizarding Britain. After everything he had done, had sacrificed and had lost, they still just treated him like someone not able to make his own decisions.

A coo made him look up at his godson, little Teddy was sitting in his lap while they took their flight to America, to get away from the people that wanted him to take a stand; against purebloods, against creatures, against just about everything.

The end of the line had come when the Weasleys, who he though was his family, had tried to put Teddy up for adoption to make sure he would marry Ginny and start a family with her.

He wasn’t even straight, and Ginny looked a bit too much like his mother to be healthy. Not only that, but they had tried to get rid of Teddy, and that was something he would never forgive. Not only was this his godson, but after Andromeda’s sudden death, he was the little boy’s soul guardian, something he wouldn’t give up for the world.

Which was why he was leaning his forehead onto the plane’s window, looking out over the clouds, rocking Teddy back asleep as he dreamed of the life that was waiting for him in Beacon Hills, California.

Finding out Sirius had a house there, and after his godfather died all his possessions and assets had been gifted to him, he could honestly say that between the Potter and Black holdings, as well as everything he had access to as Teddy’s guardian, he didn’t even need to work a day in his life.

He was going to, of course he was, he couldn’t just sit still and do nothing. He wanted to open his own bakery, but one warded to only allow Supernatural creatures into the building. After all, the Goblins had been so kind as to tell him all about Beacon Hills and the Nemeton that stood there – calling out to those of the Supernatural Community, the three had been damaged, but maybe he could heal her and make her into the safety beacon she had been before.

The goblins had even contacted the local pack to let them know he would be moving in and didn’t mean any harm. They had given him a phone number to call the moment he landed, to come and pick him up. Seeing as he didn’t have a driver’s licence, nor did he own a car, this was a great solution.

Closing his eyes, he let the cool feel of the window seep into his forehead, drowning out all the noises around him, hopefully letting him catch some sleep during the flight now that Teddy was also sleeping again.

Onward to start his new life.

Chapter 9: 09 Winged - undecided (SAO)

Chapter Text

Floating up in the air, Harry contemplated that all that had happened wasn’t so bad. After all, getting stuck in SAO first, and in Alfheim online after, had made it so he wouldn’t be bothered by his cousin or relatives for quite a long while to come.

His aunt and uncle hadn’t wanted their precious Dudders to get exposed to anything violent, or life altering, which was a waste of time as his cousin played a whole series of more violent games away from home.

But alas, this had been something he needed to play at home, but with his overprotective parents wanting him to test it out first, to the envy of his cousin, Harry agreed and got stuck in the game when the SAO server was hijacked by its creator. Stuck there, and still able to move and think, he knew that he hadn’t died in the real world – even if he didn’t want to see just what he looked like after all these months.

After the trauma that was SAO, he had been one of the few who had been swept away to a different server with ties to the original SAO game. After all, the apprentice of Kayaba had wanted to boost his own gaming server, and made quests using locked in people who were snatched when SAO was defeated by Asuna and Kirito.

So, while he enjoyed being away from his awful relatives, all Harry – or Galahad – could do in Alfheim was fly around and fight with every player who approached the cage Asuna was held in. In short, he was nothing more than an NPC, not having a full range of movement, and none of the freedom all the regular players had.

But he had hope, he had seen first-hand, the connection between Kirito and Asuna, and there was no way the Black Knight would leave her here, not when he found out what had really happened. While he wasn’t looking forward to participating in real life again, he was also tired of the game, and wanted to get out.

Commotion underneath him made him tense up, the programming taking over as he flew over and attacked the person getting close, only to recognize the pixie he carried with him.

Smiling he was glad to not be winged anymore as Kirito made it past him to get to Asuna, feeling the programming break, Harry was able to take off the helmet for the first time in months, or maybe even years. Only to find he was all alone in a hospital bed, the writing on his identification bracelet letting him know he wasn’t in England anymore.

The date let him know that he was just shy of 13 years old, meaning he had spent almost 3 years into the game. Luckily all the conversations in SAO and Alfheim had made him fluent in Japanese, making him understand and able to communicate with the nurse when she entered shocked to find him awake.

His family had been in Japan when the NerveGear released, and it appears they just left him behind when they went back, happy to leave their bedridden nephew behind. The authorities had been informed and the nurse told him his aunt and uncle were in jail, while Dudley was sent to live with Marge – who had made it clear she didn’t want anything to do with him.

So here he was, alone in Japan, recovering from what had happened to him. Not knowing what his being in the Eastern Country had brought for a certain community in the UK. He didn’t know and wouldn’t know for a very long time to come. For now, he just needed to recover, attend a certain school which helped those trapped to adapt to real life again, and hopefully bond with the people he had gotten close to in game. Life was looking up for once.

Chapter 10: 10 Wishful - Edward Newgate - Whitebeard/(fem)Harry Potter (One Piece) - prequel to 05

Notes:

First chapter to the full lenght fic was posted here

Chapter Text

Amaryllis sighed for what seemed like the hundredth time that afternoon. Here she was in Grimauld Place, sitting alone, not able to see any of her friends when the news leaked that she had been accepted as the new Master of Death after the War.

As is typical of the Wizarding community, she was quickly singled out for being the new Dark Lady, wanting to take over the World now that her predecessor was gone and paved the way for her. She hated it, the way the public was so fickle in believing this – the things that hurt her even more was that people she went to school with or saw as family also believed it.

Andromeda hadn’t brought Teddy over in ages, afraid of the backlash she would face, on top of the older woman already raising a half-werewolf child. It hurt her heart to not be able to be the godmother Teddy deserved, and the one Remus and Dora wanted her to be.

But she got where Andy was coming from, to some extent. With the way the Wizarding World was changing, for the worst, she understood the woman wanting to take care of the closest blood ties she had, next to a sister she hadn’t spoken in ages.

It didn’t help her, not with how everything was turning out, nor with the way the Wizarding World found a new person to talk trash about, namely her, she was 19 years old; she should be able to go out and live her life, especially after everything that had happened when she was a teen. But even that couldn’t happen right for her – she had no friends, no future to look out for, she didn’t even have a place in the society she fought for.

Clenching her fist, Amaryllis smiled stiffly as Kreacher appeared back from a trip to the store, they had to resort to him glamouring himself to be able to go to a Muggle supermarket, to be able to get groceries, seeing as everyone knew he was her house elf.

Leaning her head against the kitchen window, she looked outside and saw the rain, as well as the people running or driving through it – enjoying their cookie cutter, normal, lives, while she couldn’t catch a break and enjoy her life now that the maniac going after her was dead – and had been dead for close to 2 years.

Wiping at her eyes, she seemed surprised to be crying, but after all, it was understandable, as it had been her best friends who had turned against her first – taking their family with them. Ron and Hermione had reacted in grief of losing people close to them, and in trauma of what happened to them.

But that didn’t turn back that they had leaked her status to the press, which of course became a huge spectacle, with others close to her coming forward with exaggerated stories of how she had been dark all along, and in search of taking over the world.

It had gotten so bad that she couldn’t leave the house her godfather had hated, feeling like a bird in a cage, when she had hoped that this part of her life, she could finally feel free. Leaning her head against the window again, she uttered her wish to the world.

“I wish to be free, free to be who I am, and to love whom ever I want to love.”

Luckily for her, there was someone listening to her, the same being she had become master over, knew that her mistress didn’t want all this, which made her perfect for the title she earned. But with everything happening in her life, and what would be happening in the Wizarding World, Death knew that Amaryllis wouldn’t ever be happy where she was now.

Carrying the body of her mistress with her, she released those few still tied to her the house eld was pay passed his time and took her away – to the place she would be free and find the love of her life.

When Amaryllis came to, it was to a white room, not unlike the one she had woken up in when she was hit with the killing curse for a second time.

Rubbing over her eyes, she could feel a presence behind her, “am I dead?”

“Quite the opposite, My Mistress, you made a wish which I wanted to help fulfil. You have done so much for a community that doesn’t and will never thank you for it. With your wish I knew I was able to help and give you a reason to start wishful thinking – and to fulfil that wish, to be free and to find someone to love you unconditionally.”

Amaryllis turned to see Death standing behind her, this time taking the form of an old woman she had helped a few times, until the woman had died.

“So, you came to take me away?”

Death nodded, “the world you lived in won’t be existing for long, with everything going on they are going to get discovered and eradicated by the Muggles. I already made sure everyone you held dear won’t be going through that – releasing their souls to the pure lands.”

Amaryllis wiped a tear, but nodded, “I guess that makes sense. I will miss them though.”

Death looked at her, an unreadable look in their eyes, most likely added by the fact that Amaryllis had known the woman who’s face Death was wearing, “if it helps you, your godson was united with his parents and their uncles and aunts. They were told about what was happening, and while they were sad you wouldn’t be joining them, they wish you all the best and asked that I tell you they loved you.”

Amaryllis started crying, how long had it been since someone said that to her and meant it – because the Weasleys had told her but look where that got her on the long run.

“Are… Are they at peace?”

Death nodded, “they are.”

Amaryllis nodded, “then, where are you taking me.”

Death grinned, “to a world very different from your own – one where most of the world exists of water, seas, and a spattering of islands. Where the greatest power you can obtain, Devil Fruits, are also your greatest flaw – as a Devil Fruit user loses their strength the moment, they get into any water that is above waist dept.”

Amaryllis snorted, “that seems like a stupid power then.”

Death smiled, “you’d think so, but there have been those that can turn into an animal, even magical ones, or whose body changes into an element, or those whose body takes the characters of whatever property the devil fruit has.”

Amaryllis hummed, “when you put it like that.”

Death smiled, “so, are you willing to go on this adventure?”

Amaryllis nodded, “what do I have to lose.”

Chapter 11: 11 Isolation - undecided (Resident Evil)

Chapter Text

He had been found soon after the first outbreak, with several bite marks all over him, but no sign of him turning into the zombie like creatures, or the berserk fighters that accompanied him. If anything, he looked, and kept on looking like a normal human, with bite marks. Prompting the Umbrella corporation to detain him, and put him in Isolation to study him, they said.

At first his isolation wasn’t that bad, he’d get regular visitors, get asked questions, and would need to give several vials of blood so they could test it for the virus.

Slowly, the visits became less frequent, while the amount of blood they took each time they did visit would increase, until such a time he was exhausted and anaemic from it – he tried to start struggling at that point, but it didn’t matter.

They would add something to his food, making him pass out, giving them time to take the blood without him struggling. So, he stopped eating, which in the long run wasn’t all that smart with everything that was already happening, he was robbing himself of all the energy he could have had.

With his appeared suicidal thought, the scientist upped their tests and brought in fresh specimen to lock into the room with him. He was always bitten, or otherwise injured, but didn’t turn. The specimen itself died soon after either by him defending himself, or by the scientists.

He would always morn the person, or being, it had been, before the virus.

Weeks, months, maybe even years had passed, with Harry only seeing someone else, not a specimen, every couple of months. But he knew they were all afraid of him, he was immune to the virus they had created after all, he couldn’t be turned, not like most of the population of Earth, who roamed the planet, either as one of the few groups of Human nomads, or as flesh craving zombie like beings.

Some part of him even doubted that these scientists were still alive after everything that had been going on, especially with all the noises he could hear outside of his cell door, making him believe the virus had taken over the facility – making him the only living being here.

He still got food, but for how long that was going to last, was anyone’s guess, it was an automated system, but with no one adding to the supplies needed he knew it could run out soon. He’d be forced to find out if his isolation would mean his death in time, or is someone would come to break him out, even if part of him didn’t want to have to adjust to the horrors that went on outside.

Tucking himself into a corner of the cell, Harry cursed the fact that he was Master of Death, and couldn’t die, least of all by abominations whose soul had already departed to the Afterlife, while their bodies had gotten infected by the hive mind that was the virus.

Even if he did get out, his life would be spent in isolation still, he couldn’t risk others knowing what he was, and what it granted him. Not again, never again.

Chapter 12: 12 Plate - Tony Stark/Harry Potter (MCU) continuation of 03 and 06

Chapter Text

“Don’t you already have enough on your plate?”

Looking up when this was uttered, Harry saw Tony standing behind him, a crutch holding most of his weight, as the genius was still recovering from everything that had happened to him in Siberia. The potions, and Dr. Wu and Dr. Cho had done wonders for the man’s health, but breaking multiple bones, and compromising an already fragile ribcage meant Tony will be walking with an aide for at least 4 more weeks.

Smiling at his lover, Harry shook his head, “you’re always more important, and I almost lost you. Never again.”

Tony sighed, before taking a seat next to the Brit, taking a look at all the lists the man had in front of him, some names marked in red, green, or orange.

“What’s all this?”

Harry shrugged, “we know something is coming, and while Death can’t tell me so outspoken, I can read in between the lines. With the former team sown, we need a new one, preferable with some back-up in the event something else like New York happens”.

Tony swallowed thickly but nodded, “I am so very glad you believed me.”

Harry blinked a few times, “love, I’ve seen too much of this world already, when you told me about what it is you saw on the other side of that portal, the first think on my mind was how I could help you not have any lasting damage from that experience.”

Tony nodded, “and you helped me develop B.A.R.F., going on from what you told me about the legimency thing.”

Harry nodded, “I’m not trained enough in the mind arts to try and use them on you, but I am happy you managed to write a program and make a device that mirrors that – so you can use it on yourself, and others, to deal with what they saw or experienced that traumatised them.”

Tony sighed, before pressing a kiss to the other man’s cheek, “I never did thank you for helping me with that.”

Harry just grinned, “not in words no, but the weekend long bed sport more than made up for that.”

Chuckling, Tony grimaced as the moment hurt his newly places ribcage. Between the cradle, extremis and Magic, Dr. Wu, Dr. Cho, and Harry were able to construct a new ribcage from Tony’s own bone – duplicated by a mix of skeletgro and whatever made up the cradle – to protect Tony from what happened in Siberia. However, the process of it healing, was the same as one needed when a rib needed to be healed after breaking.

“You need to take it easy, love, your body went through a lot of stress emotionally and physically these last few weeks.”

Tony groaned, “I know, but I feel bad for letting you take on all of this by yourself.”

Harry laughed, “but I am not doing this by myself. I have Pepper and Jennifer Walters on the accords, as I don’t know enough about the laws to attempt that. Rhodey on the lists I am compiling where he does a second screening.

I introduced Harley and Teddy to Peter and let them run wild with the other underage enhanced I know. They got along almost too well, last time I checked.

And I called in all the favours I had, asking for names of all those willing to stand with us, the next time something as New York is happening. Fury might have known about a few enhanced, but he certainly never knew about all of them.

You need to stop thinking you are all alone in this, Tones, you have all of us here with you. And with all the information that was leaked, maybe people will start to think for themselves and see just what it is you did for all of them. I never saw Captain Sprangles fly a nuke through a wormhole.”

Tony looked away, he had gotten so used to being the scapegoat, that he never though it about just what he did do for everyone out there, both the public, and the Avengers, and just how little recognition he got for that.

It was only after things went wrong that everyone pointed at him to be able to put the blame on, even it had been something he wasn’t even involved in. Shaking his head, he pressed a kiss to Harry’s lips before sighing and leaning against the Brit’s back.

“If you’re sure it isn’t too much in your plate, then go right at it, maybe it is time I took a break.”

As he spoke those words, the elevator opened and admitted Teddy, Harley and Peter into the penthouse, all three teens talking, joking and laughing as they approached.

“Glad you said that dad, we were wondering if we could steal you away for some time, if Papa allows it, to look over something we made.”

Smiling Harry looked over to Teddy and the two other boys, “of course, Teddy, but do make sure he is able to sit down and don’t have him lifting anything heavy, that’s up to you and Peter, alright!”

Teddy gave a mock salute, the other two boys following suit, before they helped Tony stand and walked back towards the elevator, the door closing to their excited chatter as the boys explained just what they had made to Tony. It made Harry smile, for all that Teddy wasn’t his and Tony’s biologically, he sure took after the Stark in brilliance and engineering.

The almost 16 year old was taking AP classes and would be able to graduate early and start college one year ahead of his peers – he would have been able to start college sooner, but after hearing everything Tony went through, Harry insisted on Teddy keeping mostly to his own age mates.

With Peter being 15, and Harley being 14, them meeting was something Harry was glad about, even if he was scared about everything they could come up with.

As the elevator opened again, Happy entered, with Pepper and Jen on his side, all three of them smiling as they saw Harry sitting at the dining room table.

“Ladies, Happy, I trust everything went well?”

Pepper nodded, taking out a folder and giving it to Harry, “all the changes we wanted to make have been made, and all the names you gave us have been submitted to the accords board, all we have to do is wait and see what will happen.”

Harry grinned, before glancing at an article Buzzfeed just posted, summing up all the abuse found in the clips Harry uploaded from SI’s security images to the internet, after Siberia. All he needed to do now was wait until the rouges burned.

Chapter 13: 13 Suit - undecided (True Blood)

Chapter Text

This was part of his job that Harry hated, after the ‘coming out’ of the vampires, the auror forces all around the world had tightened their security, as well as doubled their manpower. It wasn’t because the Vampire Community chose to come into the light, that the others had to follow. Although there had been rumours of the Weres and Shifters thinking about following anyway.

So, when word got out the Boy-Who-Lived wanted to get away from the UK, and its wizarding world, MACUSA was one of the first who extended the invitation to the Lord Potter-Black. With the way they handled werewolves, and other creatures, the Brit felt better going to USA.

After all, he was still the guardian of his godson, who as he grew older only showed more and more traits of a born werewolf, which made a lot of people in the UK nervous.

But anyway, Harry had taken the job in the USA, and had gotten stationed in Louisiana, having jurisdiction of most of the state, which included the town of Bon Temps which seemed to be a Hellmouth or something, with everything that happened there. As well as Fangtasia in Shreveport which was a vampire run bar.

After the numerous calls about what had happened in Bon Temps and Shreveport, Harry had been send out to investigate.

Pulling at the collar of his suit, he approached the blond at the entrance of the establishment, said blond looking him up and down.

Harry just smiled, slightly stiffly, “I’d like to speak to the Sheriff.”

The woman tilted and eyebrow, “and does the good sir have a name?”

Smiling still, Harry took out his badge, recognizable even for those vampires who had been Muggles when they were turned. The blond recognized it anyway and nodded, mentioning him to follow.

She led him inside, towards a throne like chair, which made him think too much about Voldemort, but he tried to supress it. The man on it, or Vampire more like, felt like an old one to his magic, with the look he had, Harry guessed he would have been around in the time of the founding of Hogwarts, maybe even before that.

The blond woman said something to the man, who looked up, the bored look in his eyes changing with everything the woman said. Harry almost rolled his eyes but approached when he was asked to.

“Now, what does MECUSA want with me?”

Harry scoffed, “c’mon sheriff, not even you are blind to what is happening in your canton. Except the high numbers of creatures, there’s also the happenings in Bon Temps, as well as the killings in the neighbourhood.”

The large blond man scowled, “I have it all under control.”

Harry tilted an eyebrow, “sure, because you seem really relaxed now.”

With a ‘shlink’ noise, the vampires teeth appeared, the hiss he let out making Harry laugh, “yeah, totally relaxed, relaxed enough that you start to resemble a cat.”

Glancing around, he could see multiple vampires with their teeth out, keeping a very close eye on him as he stood there with the sheriff. Rolling his eyes again, Harry took a step back from the large blond.

“You’ll be seeing me around then, do try to keep an eye out alright?”

With that, he turned and made his way out of the club, grinning slightly at every vampire he crossed, as he got into his car, he decided he would make a stop in Bon Temps too, one could never be too careful – who knew what was going on right now.

Chapter 14: 14 sceptic - undecided (Teen wolf) continuation of 08

Chapter Text

When he arrived in Beacon Hills, Harry had been glad he was able to take a cab and hadn’t needed to local pack’s help to get to his new house in the States. The Cab driver was a jolly older man who had immigrated to the US from South Africa, quite a number of years ago.

While Teddy kept on sleeping, the man, John, and he kept on exchanging situations they had gotten into because of the accent they had.

While John had been sceptic at first, seeing a teen standing at the airport with a baby in his arms and one large travelling bag next to him, the man had assumed he had run away after becoming a teen parent.

Once in the car however, Harry had indulged John into the story of just what had happened and how he had become the guardian over his 6 month old godson after the boy’s parents and grandmother were killed in the terrorist attacks in the UK.

John had apologized, only for Harry to wave it off, saying that the flight crew had, had almost the same reaction when he boarded.

As he said his goodbye to John, Harry looked around the house that would be his and Teddy’s from now on. It was a modest sized cottage, close to the preserve that Beacon Hills was famous for. Not only that, but the yard was littered with trees and seemed to blend in with the forest behind it.

Smiling, Harry was glad to be able to retreat to this place, where he could just be himself and try to raise Teddy in the best way possible.

Opening his phone, he texted the number the Goblins were able to find of the local pack, most likely the Alpha, or second in command. Not even 5 minutes later, a ‘welcome to Beacon Hills’ was texted back, followed by an invitation to dinner that evening at the packhouse, the address was included.

Texting back his confirmation, Harry started unloading everything from the travel bag he carried, after he made sure Teddy had his cot to lay in and dream on as the baby didn’t realise just what had happened.

After unpacking most of what he would be needed this following days, Harry went to take a nap in the master bedroom, taking Teddy with him, so they would both be well rested for the meeting they had that evening at 6 PM.

Although Harry was a little but sceptic about the purpose of said meeting, he was glad to be able to meet the local pack and get to know them at least a little bit. Plus it would make it easier for Teddy to adjust, especially with a pack nearby.

Chapter 15: 15 Forbade - undecided (True Blood) continuation of 13

Chapter Text

Harry grumbled as he took a seat at the only drinking establishment in town, which was owned by a shifter whose name was Sam Merlotte. Not that the man knows, he knew that he was a shifter.

But the booze was decent, the food incredible and the people were kind enough not to stare after he talked the first time – after all in such a rural town, they weren’t used to having a lot of foreign people, let alone a Brit.

Leaning his head back, he smiled at Sookie as the blond came by to bring him a beer. He liked her, even if she was one of the fae, not that the poor girl knew that. He hated that part about Fae Folk, that they left their descendants out there until they were needed.

Even worse was that he had let MACUSA know that there was a part-fae in Bon Temps, but they had forbidden him from interfering, as relations with fae were already tense.

It irked him enough, that he had been coming here in his downtime, in the hope op making friends with the waitress, so he could help her when her heritage came out.

He was even contemplating bringing Teddy with him one of these times, just to give the little boy a change of view. For now, until he had control over his abilities, the little boy was stuck inside, to get private tutoring from a muggle-born witch, who happened to have a teaching degree. But he could see that Teddy longed to explore.

As long as he was there with the little boy and could keep a glamour over the kid, everything should be fine.

Nodding to himself, he agreed that he would do that in one of the passing days, bring Teddy along to lunch here at Merlotte’s.

Looking up again, he saw Sam and Lafayette looking at him, waving at both men made them wave back, before the cook approached.

“You’re here an awful lot, Sugar?”

Harry grinned, “I know, I recently moved in on the edge of town, and though I needed to scout out the area.”

The man hummed, “that so. I be seeing you looking at Sookie an awful lot.”

Harry laughed, “because she reminds me of someone I know back home.”

Lafayette tilted an eyebrow up at him, “really now.”

Harry grinned, “I swing the other way, I can admit she’s pretty, but that’s about all you’ll get from me.”

The cook grinned, “she’ll be glad to hear that, too many a man ogles her for whatever it is she has.”

Harry shrugged, “too bad, she seems like a great girl.”

Lafayette nods, before he wanders off, whispering something to Sam, and Sookie when they convene at the bar.

Sam approached next, an insecure look on his face, “I wanted to apologize.”

Harry held up a hand, “is no problem, I can see where you’re coming from, and I won’t say a thing.”

The sandy haired man looked shocked for a moment, before he took a seat and Harry took out his badge to show the man, whose eyes only grew.

“Auror?”

Harry nodded, “Animagus then, instead of shifter?”

Sam nodded, “needed to get away from everything, and always wanted to open a diner, so this worked out perfectly.”

Harry shrugged, “great to know. I recently moved in on the edge of town and got Louisiana as my area, just a heads up.”

Sam nodded, “maybe for the best, a lot of things have been happening since the vamps came out.”

Harry nodded, “I know, it’s partly why I’m here. Say, you wouldn’t mind if I take my 4 year old with me next time I come?”

Sam blinked, “I thought Lafayette said…”

Harry laughed, “he did, and I am… officially he’s my godson, but his parents and grandparents died in the terrorists attacks in London a few years back. And I think he’s too young to get that I am not his real dad. I plan on explaining when he is older, though.”

Sam ahh’ed, “yeah, no problem. Arlene takes the kids with her sometimes when she has a shift, so I don’t have a problem with kids coming along.”

Harry smiled, “thanks for that. I’ll be seeing you soon then.”

Chapter 16: 16 - restart - pre Peter Hale/Harry Potter (Teen Wolf) continuation of 08 and 14

Chapter Text

Meeting the Hale pack was something he wouldn’t forget for the longest of times. Harry had packed up Teddy, who as a baby luckily didn’t wind getting wrangled into new clothes and set out to the Hale plot at 10 minutes to 6.

The GSP luckily helped him find it, seeing as most of the land was hidden by, or in, the preserve, which was understandable for a pack of werewolves who had been living on these lands for centuries.

As he got out of the car, he could feel the Nemeton close by and had to smile at the feeling it gave him, protection, safety, and that warm feeling of getting hugged by family.

With a smile on his face, he rung the bell, and was startled by the wolf that opened the door. Only a couple of years older than him, brown hair, blue eyes, and a slight smirk on his face. From the information he got from the goblins, this had to be Peter, the left-hand and Talia Hale’s younger brother.

“Harry Potter?”

Harry nodded, “that’s me, this is my son, Teddy.”

Peter tilted his head to the side, making Harry bit his lip, “I’m still getting used to the idea of my godson being my son, seeing as I’m the only family he has left.”

Peter hummed, “you know then?”

Harry nodded, “I’m a wizard, so… and Teddy’s dad was a bitten were, while he is starting to show signs of a born one, so I preferred to be close to a pack, I know I can substitute for some – but not everything he might need as a werewolf.”

A woman’s voice sounded from within, “this is a deliberate decision.”

Harry nodded, looking past Peter to the woman that could only be Talia Hale.

“I did, things in England took a turn for the worst, when my best friend’s family put Teddy up for adoption because they wanted me to marry their only daughter and felt I wouldn’t do that while I was busy with Teddy.

This is, in some way, a restart, I came to America for a new start and a better life, both for me and Teddy. I know his birthfather never had a real pack, and it hurt and scared him in ways I can’t describe, as such it wasn’t something I wanted for Teddy.

Plus, with other Supernaturals nearby, I know who to turn to when I inevitable get into problems.”

Talia laughed, “you sound just like Peter there, he’s finishing up a law degree, but whenever he is home, something happens. Come on in, and I’ll introduce you to everyone.”

Harry smiled and entered, noticing the way Peter’s eyes stayed on his back in a very pleasant matter. He couldn’t say the man was bad looking, so maybe Teddy would find a pack in the Hales, while he found a partner that wasn’t looking for fame or money.

This might just actually be the new start, restart if you will, he was looking for.

Chapter 17: 17 Anyone - Tony Stark/Harry Potter (MCU) continuation of 03, 06 and 12

Chapter Text

Harry could have cursed the moment he got the notification that Thanos was making his way to Earth. It had taken all his connections, and even him getting in contact with Death, to be able to make sure the Titan would come himself instead of sending one of his children – to defeat him once and for all, he didn’t want or need to leave his husband or their (adoptive) sons behind.

But to be out at the moment the fleet entered the atmosphere had him cursing, even more so when he got a message that the counsel, or more particularly, the American government had pardoned the rouges in an effort to strengthen their forces against the Mad Titan.

Slamming open the doors to the compound, he found the rouges standing in front of his sons, Tony in front of them, the looks in their eyes all relieved at seeing him.

“What in Death’s name is going on here?”

Captain America, smiled at him, “nothing at all, sir.”

Harry snorted, “really now.”

All of them smiled, while his boys drifted towards him, “because what I was seeing was a bunch of criminals trying to intimidate or hurt my boys.”

The blond man in front of him frowned, “those are your sons, sir, then maybe you should raise them better, they stopped us from talking to our friend.”

Harry snorted, “your friend? Is that how you treat friends?”

He got a few glares from the archer and the mutant, calling her a witch was an insult to all those witches he knew.

“I don’t think you know what happened, sir.”

Harry snorted for a third time, “you’re right, I didn’t, but I was there when my husband’s heart stopped 3 times on route, as well as one more time on the table. I was there when he recovered from what you did to him, and you dare stand here and say he is your friend.

Friends don’t hit their friend in the chest when he’s already compromised in the chest area, not to forget that friends don’t leave their incapacitated friend in freezing temperatures in Siberia, in a bunker which no one knew where it was.

Especially when my husband did come as a friend to help you with the other winder soldiers, only to discover your best friend was the weapon that killed his parents, and you knew, for years already. You’re not a friend, Rogers, you’re a leach.”

The silence made him look up to their sons looking at their dad, all of them hugging him close with tears rolling over their cheeks. He had forgotten that he never told them, just that Tony pulled through.

Looking over to the rouges, he could see Wilson, Lang and even Clinton looking at the other three. The mutant was sneering at him, while Widow and Rogers were keeping him in their field of sight.

“Ah, and let’s not forget you just attacked the residents of this building, you were pardoned for the coming fight and only that fight. I will enjoy showing the counsel of the first thing you did when you were on American soil.”

Rogers opened his mouth, “now who do you think you are?”

Harry grinned, “Lord Potter-Black-Stark, with too much other lordships to name, the boy-who-lived, Master of Death and the father to three wonderful boys. Husband to Tony Stark, and part owner of SI, as well as my own company; Peverell Technologies. I am here because I worked hard on the accords, and on making sure that the Mad Titan wouldn’t have a change when he arrived here.

The fact the American government thought you needed to be here, is nonsense, as I know just who is standing at the ready and trust me that isn’t just anyone. We don’t need you the world doesn’t need you and Tony certainly doesn’t need you in his life.”

Glancing at the girl among them, he glared at her, “I will warn you only once, Miss Maximoff, come near me with whatever mutant power you have, and you will regret it.”

The girl scoffed, making him glare at the fact no one did anything to correct her when her red smoke approached, the moment it touched him, she fell down screaming, Rogers glaring right back at him.

“What are you doing, she’s just a girl!”

Harry rolled his eyes, “that girl is 23 years old, Rogers, older than you were when you enlisted, she didn’t listen, it’s high time she find out what happened when one doesn’t listen.”

With that he turned around but was stopped when the archer’s voice called out.

Turning back, he saw Wilson, Barton and Lang standing there clutching their head, red smoke coming out of their pores, “she was controlling us. Tony… I’m so sorry.”

Blinking once, Harry grinned at the three rouges, “told you I’m not just anyone, and it would seem the three of you were happy controlling others to do their bidding.

I am so curious to what the counsel has to say about that. Come along you three, boys, we have to prepare for the fight that is to come.

FRIDAY, engage protocol rabbit hole, will you, none of those rouges are going anywhere. And be a dear, send the footage to the counsel already.”

Chapter 18: 18 Race - Peter Hale/Harry Potter (Teen wolf) - continuation of 08, 14 & 16

Chapter Text

Harry raced back towards the house, feeling the pack bounds he had screaming in pain, not only that, but he could feel panic from Peter, as well as terror from Teddy, flooring his pedal, he knew he was going too fast, the blue light in his rear view mirror telling him the same thing.

But he didn’t plan on stopping, not because of this.

Breaking at the end of the driveway of the Hale house, his eyes widened as he saw the house up in flames. The cops behind him were calling for back up, but he didn’t wait for that, not like this – his family was inside that home.

Running towards the home, he found mountain ash at every window and door, looking around, he discretely flicked his wand and made it disappear, the door was opened soon after – most of the adults storming out, rage in their eyes.

Several of the cops who had followed him approached, “are you all alright?”

Peter, ever the layer, nodded, “someone locked us in the house, if my husband hadn’t acted as he had after I called him, who knows what would have happened.”

Looking sheepishly, Harry turned to the cops, “sorry for not stopping.”

The senior officer, one Noah Stilinski shook his head, “no worries, sir, I think we can dismiss this, I know I would break several laws would my partner call that they were trapped in a burning house.”

The Hales sighed, before some of the children started crying, Teddy among them. Taking their son from Peter’s arms, he hugged the 5 year old to his chest, shushing him and telling him everything was alright.

The cops stayed behind to ask them if they knew who had done this, who had wanted to hurt them, all those questions.

Harry intervened, “the new English teacher, she’s been asking around about us, finds it odd that we all live in the same house – I heard her mutter something about our race being the wrong one.”

Looking at Peter he added, “I know she sneered at us, because we are a gay couple.”

Cora, the youngest of Talia gasped, “she’s been hanging around Derek a lot, do you think she did anything to him?”

Talia looked around, “where are Derek and Laura?”

Her husband wiped out his cell phone, dropping it when he notices his badly burned hand, as well as the fried phone.

Harry took out his own and dialled Laura’s number, as soon as she picked up, he barked, “get Derek and come home, now.”

They would get to the bottom of this, the cops from the looks of it wouldn’t either, to know one of Beacon hills prominent families was almost killed with arson was a shock, and unbelievable. Peter and Harry exchanged looks, they wouldn’t rest either – not because of this.

Chapter 19: 19. Blunt - pre-Seto Kaiba/Harry Potter (Yu-gi-oh)

Chapter Text

“You sure are blunt.”

Harry shrugged, “you hired me to be your secretary, Mr. Kaiba, not your babysitter. I believe a good working relationship is build on trust and saying what needs to be said.”

The brown haired man looked at him, a calculating look in his eyes.

“I didn’t mean it like an insult, Mr. Potter, if anything it is refreshing.”

Harry gave a small grim, “I am happy to hear that, now the front desk just called, Mokuba is on his way up.”

As the oldest Kaiba brother made his way to his office, Harry couldn’t help but think how he became the secretary for one of the world’s richest, and youngest, CEO of the world.

Seto Kaiba had made it in the gaming industry, mostly with arcades, and later with a way to play the Duel Monsters card game interactively. After his adoptive father died, and he inherited, he builds the already huge company to an empire – and still, he was quite down to earth.

He could be arrogant, but then again, his accomplishments allowed him to do so.

Anyway, Harry had been traveling around the world when he found himself in Japan, without anything or anyone to look out for, the 20 year old had enjoyed himself with looking round, learning about the culture, and learning all there was about the food they had here – for all that he didn’t like cooking for the Dursleys, he did like cooking for friends and family.

On one of his culinary exploits, he had come across a young boy that had been harassed by some older teens, wanting to know something or another. The boy had tried to defend himself, but 5 to 1 was already a lost cause.

Until Harry stepped in and showed those teens just what happens if you mess with the wrong kind of people.

Sadly, it had led to Harry being arrested, even if he tried to explain what had happened.

The cops, sadly, didn’t believe the foreigner, and locked him up.

Luckily, the boy had run home and told his older brother what had happened and how the nice British man had saved him from the annoying teens that kept bugging him about Seto’s new inventions, or his latest arcade.

Seto, not wanting to let the man who had saved his little brother, spend the night in jail, had hurried to the police office and told them Harry was an employee, who he had shadowing Mokuba just in case.

With Seto Kaiba on his side, and the cops not able to say no to the young CEO, Harry was released into their care, after which Seto didn’t waste any time in hiring the man for real.

Harry smiled as he looked up as Mokuba ran through the entrance hall, into Seto’s office, only waving as he passed.

Chuckling, Harry thought back about the last 3 months he had worked here at Kaiba Corporation, about the great job he held, with amazing employee benefits and an amazing boss – even if the man came off as slightly stand-off-ish.

On the other side of the door Mokuba was grinning at his older brother.

“Seto, you have to ask him.”

Seto grimaced, but shook his head, “I can’t Mokuba, he’s my employee, I can’t just ask an employee on a date with me.”

Mokuba shrugged, “don’t know why anyone should care, you’re human, you’re allowed to have a love life.”

Seto scowled, “still, I can’t have the press, Pegasus or the competition knowing that I am dating one of my employees, it would be a PR disaster.”

Mokuba pouted, “too bad, I know you both want to.”

Seto sighed, “I’ll think about it.”

Chapter 20: 20. Novel - Pre-Sean Renard/Harry Potter (Grimm)

Chapter Text

Harry couldn’t help but novel at what was happening all around him, in the rather grey city of Portland, Oregon. At first glance all you could see was a normal, everyday life – but if you looked closer, and behind the mask some people here wore, he couldn’t help but marvel at it all.

It would never have occurred to him to go and live in Portland. That was until Death told him he would find what he was looking for in this Northern part of the USA.

After all, after uniting the three Hollows, he didn’t age anymore – which was noticed too soon for his liking among the Wizarding community, together with him now being Master of Death, he could also see what people really thought, or even looked like – after all, no one can hide from Death.

It had shown him that a lot of the people he was ‘friends’ with, weren’t at all like they appeared.

Ron, for example, kept being jealous of him, or Hermione, or even his brothers, he just learned to hide it better. But in Harry’s mind it just showed that the redhead hadn’t matured at all, he had just gotten better at putting up a mask.

Hermione, on the other hand, still wanted to correct anything and everything around her, but like her husband, she had learned to conceal that part behind a mask – which was slowly tearing her up inside. Especially when he and Ron got a lot more privileges as Wizard-born people, while she, as a Muggleborn, kept lagging behind.

After finding out that his two best friends still hadn’t matured, while he did – dying did that to people, they grew apart, without even realising it.

Yet, when word got out, he wasn’t aging, both Ron and Hermione were at the foreground with theories and anecdotes on what it could have been that he did to himself, sadly all of those pointed into the direction of Dark Magic and splitting his soul – instead of him mastering the three Hallows.

It was at that point, that he met Death again, not because he had died, but because the primordial being felt sorry for him, and what was happening to him. So much so, that They helped him get a new life in the Muggle World, finally being free of all that was expected of him.

When he fell out of love with London, and the UK in general, it had been Death who had suggested going to Portland and hinted at him being able to find what he was looking for there.

It had taken him a while, and some self-reflexion, before Harry could admit that he wanted to find real friends, and a partner to grow with – grow old wasn’t an option. But he feared only finding fake people, instead of those few real ones.

Death had just smiled mysteriously at their Master before telling him that there was a whole other community out there, called Wesen, who stayed hidden from the public eye, by staying in the public eye. This community was compiled of all kinds of creatures, who had managed to shift into a human form and who while in some way wore a mask, they knew how being honest could help them grow and thrive.

The part of it being another secret community had interested him, after all, he had some experience in one, but to know there was one which managed to live in harmony with regular Muggles, baffled him, and made him want to explore.

So he did, and he couldn’t help but marvel at the novel of it all, he could see past the masks these people wore, yet Death assured him none of them would notice and think him a Grimm, they would all feel he’d be different – but wouldn’t be able to place the feeling until he told them what he was.

All in all, he looked forward to this new chapter in life, especially if Death were right, and he would find friends and a partner here.

In his awe at the world around him, he didn’t notice the other person coming towards him, only noticing when hot coffee was spilled, and his new shirt became dirty with coffee stains.

A voice spoke from in front of him, “I’m sorry, I was running late to meeting and didn’t notice where I was going.”

Harry waved the man off, “no worries, these things happen.”

The man stayed silent for a moment, “I don’t think we’ve met yet, I’m Sean Renard, the captain of Portland PD.”

Taking and shaking the man’s hand, Harry introduced himself, “Harry Potter, I’m here because a friend of mine suggested Portland as a great holiday destination.”

Chapter 21: 21. Unused - Roy Mustang/Harry Potter (FullMetal Alchemist: Bortherhood)

Chapter Text

“Why would there be an unused set of woman’s clothing at out house, Roy, answer me?”

Harry walked after his partner of three months, he had known what he was getting into when people all around them told him just what kind of man Roy Mustang was, and just how he took home a different woman every other night.

Yet, the moment he met Harry, he didn’t do that anymore, as a matter of fact, Harry knew Roy came straight home after work every day, and never went out again after dinner.

So, when he started cleaning the house and found an unused outfit for a woman, he didn’t know what to think, nor where this had come from. At one point he had through it to be Roy’s, left there for an old flame or an old girlfriend.

But they had moved in together, in Harry’s apartment at that, so for this set of clothes to just appear was odd to say the least.

Roy finally stopped and sighed, running a hand over his face before turning towards the other man with an odd look in his eyes.

“I had hoped you wouldn’t find that.”

Harry frowned, “and why is that.”

Roy sighed again, “because I don’t want to have this conversation again, every other person I told this too only ever laughs at me, breaks up with me, or just never speaks to me again. I don’t want any of that to happen with you.”

Harry frowned, “well then, let’s hear it anyway.”

Roy groaned, but looked down as he told his lover that he took so many women home because they were girls working for his aunt, who gave him underground or even classified information that was picked up by the Madame, or by any other girl in the business. He wasn’t even a real ladies man, but the cover was too good not to use.

The change of clothes was there for when the girls got recognized and needed to change their outfit in the event of them being followed. Roy and the Madame made sure to send non-descriptive girls, so they could blend into the crowd easier.

After Roy finished his explanation, Harry didn’t really know what he needed to do, so he just started laughing.

“Really, that’s all this is? Why didn’t you say so…”

Roy looked shocked at that reaction, “you’re the first person ever to react like this, not even my subordinates reacted like this the first time I told them why I ‘take home’ so many girls.”

Harry just shrugged, “well, I’m not just anyone.”

Roy hummed, “there is that. So, you wouldn’t mind?”

Harry shook his head, “as long as it stays with taking them out, and not actually sleeping with them, I don’t mind at all.”

Roy hummed again, “it’s only ever taking them out, I don’t swing that way, which I hoped you had already noticed.”

Chapter 22: 22. non-existent - unnamed Corvinus brother/Harry Potter (Underworld)

Notes:

Only I names the man Darius, instead of leaving him unnamed.

Chapter Text

“The chance is non-existent we will all come out of this alive, you know this.”

The man who said this looked at his lover, “you know that I was the only mortal among the immortal, my love, so at least let me make sure I can end it with this.”

Harry shook his head, “I can’t, Darius, I can’t just let you give your life for this.”

Darius Corvinus just smiled, not minding the blood still hanging on his lips, “you will have to, for our family.”

Harry smiled sadly as he laid a hand over his abdomen, after all Death didn’t have a gender, so neither did he, in a way he was both, which made It possible to conceive – even if the child he bore would never know its father.

Darius was dying, having tried, and failed to stop the war his older brothers started. All because Marcus was stupid enough to turn a warlord who couldn’t help himself in waging wars especially now that he was very hard to kill.

Victor felt that as he looked older, he had a say in anything that happened, which put a rift between the brothers and their father, and which put Harry and Darius in the middle of all of this. Especially after Alexander left this dispute to his children.

Now with Victor twisting what Marcus had wanted, this would go on to be a war for ages to come.

Darius took a hold of Harry’s hand, looking the Master of Death in his eyes as he smiled, “will you look over them? Over our children, and over my brothers? For me?”

Harry smiled, but nodded while tears ran over his cheeks, “I will, my love, for you I will.”

Darius smiled once, before his eyes lost their light and his soul left his body. Leaving Harry alone with his body and a legacy he wasn’t sure he wanted to look over.

Chapter 23: 23. Untroubled - undecided/Harry Potter (True Blood) continuation of 13 and 15

Notes:

It's past midnight here, so :D

Chapter Text

“If you were looking for something untroubled, you came to the wrong place, you know that, right?”

Harry smiled as he looked up to Sam, looking back towards Teddy who was colouring at the table they were seated, before the Brit looked up and nodded, “I know what I was getting into, no worries.”

Sam hummed, “because a lot of things have changed now that the vamps came out of the coffin, and I know other groups will follow. But living here has thought me that all these people aren’t ready for that.”

Harry shrugged, “I guess, but living in secret in this time and age, is almost impossible. Even if it would make this a whole less troublesome for all of us.”

Sam nodded, “it would, but then again, what can you do about it.”

“Nothing, absolutely nothing. And to be honest, the reason I like the USA so much more is because the magical community adapted here, instead of in the UK, you’d think everyone was still living in the 19th century.”

Sam snorted, “I heard stories, but I didn’t think…”

Harry nodded, “they do – it’s depressing, especially for someone like me, who grew up in the Muggle World, to suddenly be set back a few hundredth years was very unbelievable.”

Grinning, Sam continued, “makes me glad I grew up here, if I hear you talking like this…”

Before he could continue, the door opened, and a stranger walked in. Yet, as soon as the man entered, Sam and Harry looked at each other, knowing that Merlotte’s just had their first vampire costumer.

The man sat down in Sookie’s part of the dining area, which let the blond to go over and ask what he’s like to drink.

Harry grinned at Sam, “I think you need to stock up on True Blood now, Sam.”

Several people looked up as Harry said this, before they realised that the man was indeed pale, and while he had ordered a glass of wine, he hadn’t once taken a sip from it. As the realisation seeped into everyone, Harry could already see some people becoming exciting about all that, as well as some finishing their meal and leaving much sooner than they would before.

However, it was the couple in the booth next to him and Teddy that he glared at, he could hear them whispering about V, and getting it from this fella over there. Especially when they went over, he made sure to keep an eye on them and to check on the vampire before he left – that he wouldn’t get captured by a couple of hillbillies that needed their fix of V.

Shaking his head at the stupidity of some people, he kept one eye on the vampire, Bill, as Sookie came to tell him, all the while keeping an eye on Teddy as the kid drew, even if Harry could see his godson had noticed the change in atmosphere.

Sighing, he smiled, before trying to explain to the boy about what had happened, and what could happen soon, but that he didn’t need to worry about all that.

Chapter 24: 24. Clash - Tony Stark/Harry Potter (MCU) continuation of 3, 6, 12 and 17

Chapter Text

On the battlefield it was soon clear to Thanos that Earth had a very powerful army to fall back on, as a matter of fact, it was much larger than he perceived years before when his chitaury attacked it in an effort to get the Tesseract.

As a matter of fact, the clash going on between his children and the armies of Terra made him think they would actually lose. Not that he would ever let that happen, with all but two of the infinity stones, he knew he could turn the tie – which was something he planned to do.

Until the very being he sought to please swept upon the battlefield, scythe in hand as he danced in between the two clashing armies, only taking down those on Thanos side, while leaving the Terrans alone, which puzzled him.

When Death stood before him however, he smiled down at the being, thinking he had finally pleased him, he had after all shown himself.

However, Death sneered at him, “did you really think this would win anyone’s affections?”

The titan tilted his head, “I gifted you with so many souls, is that not a proper courting gift?”

Snorting, Death shook his head, but another voice answered, “a courting gift would be mint chocolates, or tartletart, or a book he can get lost in, at least that’s how it worked for me.”

Thanos looked up and sneered at the man dressed in red and gold armour, “the iron man.”

The man in the armour just grinned as he came to a stop besides Death, “The mad titan, you’ve been going about this the wrong way – I got there first, and I didn’t even know Harry was the personification of Death until our marriage.”

Thanos froze, “you have been wed.”

Death shrugged, “I can do whatever I want, you know, this misplaced infatuation you have has not a lot to do with me. You just made it personal by invading and attacking my home planet, I wasn’t just going to let that happen.”

Thanos ragged, “I could have given you so much more than these monkeys, yet you choose them instead of what we could build together. How the mighty have fallen.”

Death snorted again, “the Death you met eons ago was of another planet, but she gave her life after the loneliness killer her, after she appointed me her successor. Maybe you would have a chance with her, but you’ll never get anywhere with me.”

Thanos sneered once again, “then I’ll remake it.”

As he went to snap his fingers and use the stones in his glove, Death stopped him, “yeah, I don’t think so, not here, not now, not ever.”

With that, the glove was ripped from his hand, the stones collected, before they were scattered out into the universe again, by the very same being who did so the first time.

“No… what have you done…”

Death looked down at him, “what my predecessor should have done, make it clear to your thick head that there is no heart to be won, no price to be collected, and no spoils for the winner who’d think that killing off half the universe would gain them favour with a primordial being existing to keep the balance in this world.

Now, begone with yours, Thanos and know that no matter where you are in this galaxy, our eyes will follow you and know when you start this quest again – you will not and cannot succeed.”

However, before the Titan could retreat, a blue and a green woman attacked him and mortally stabbed him.

Harry seemed to recognize the women before him, so neither of Earth’s defenders acted, just watched as the alien who tried to exterminate them was killed.

“Gamora, Nebula, I hope you find justice in this act.”

Both women nodded, “we do, thank you for this opportunity, Lord Death.”

Harry nodded, “it is of no bother, I know he wouldn’t stop, lost in his own delusions, as are others that we know off.”

As he said this, Tony had to snort, knowing exactly who his husband was talking about.

A deep voice spoke from behind them, “why do I have the feeling this is about Stevie.”

Tony turned towards Sergeant Barnes, “because unlike blondie, you actually hold a brain that hasn’t been messed up by the steroids he got.”

Barnes sighed, before looking up at the heavens as if praying for patience, “I should have known.”

Harry shook his head, “we can clear that out in time, for now – ATTENTION to the invading army, you have 30 minutes to get off planet before we start shooting first and asking questions later.”

When some of them seemed to want to talk, Harry just magicked up a clock that started counting down from 30 minutes. It had the desired effect and had Earth clean of any invading forces within that time span. He made a note to keep an eye out for them, but without Thanos, he didn’t think they’d pose much of a threat.

As soon as they were gone however, and the clash officially over, he was hugged on three sides by his (adoptive) sons, while his husband lay one on him, kissing him in full view of a lot of people, which only made his heart soar. He wouldn’t end up like his predecessor and die – by lack of better words – by a broken heart, as he had so much love around him.

Next on the agenda was dealing with those that had wronged his husband and believed they would be able to get away with it, all for the sake of protecting the planet. He was sure the images and video had been watched by the counsel, and soon a huge part of those on the internet, he wouldn’t let them get away with this.

Chapter 25: 25. Entice - Sean Renard/ Harry Potter (Grimm) sequel to 20

Chapter Text

“I never did expect to be enticed by you in such a way, Sean.”

The man looked at the other sharing his bad, a smirk on his face, “I didn’t really plan for this to happen either, but I am glad it did.”

Harry giggles, thinking back about his first day in Portland, and the encounter he had with the ma he was now sleeping with.

Captain Sean Renard had apologized for spilling coffee all over him and had given him his phone number to discuss dry cleaning bills.

One meet-up for that bill, had turned into a coffee date, a lunch date, and a dinner date, all of which had enticed Harry to make the step into starting a relationship with the other man. Which in turn lead to him being in the other man’s apartment and his bed, after another wonderful date.

However, he could see the way Sean turned his head as he woged, trying to keep it a secret from his new lover, most likely thinking Harry was just an ordinary human.

“You don’t need to do that, you know.”

Sean blinked and looked up, “I don’t need to do what?”

Harry sighed, “turn away as you woge.”

Sean took in a sharp breath, taking the time to look at Harry closely, before he narrowed his eyes, “Are you a Grimm?”

Harry shook his head, which had Sean hissing and getting out of bed, “so this is a set-up by ma father’s family then? To get the bastard son enticed into a human, to use as blackmail?”

Harry eyes widened, “what, Sean, no…”

The other man got out of bed, “get out.”

Harry blinked a few times, “please let me explain.”

“What, that this was an assignment, but you fell in love with me, and now want sympathy. Get. Out.”

Harry sniffled, before getting out of bed, putting on his clothes and making way towards the door.

Once there, he stopped for a moment, “I never fooled you in anything, I just see more than others can. As no one can hide from Death.”

With that, he pulled open the door and disappeared into the night. Knowing better then to think he could have found a slice of happiness, fate hated him too much to grant him that.

Entering his apartment, Harry shook his head and took a shower, feeling not dirty, but still feeling the need to get clean after all this. He knew what Sean was, and for the man to assume that he only knew because of his royal family was not something too farfetched. But still it hurt to be cast away like that.

As he dried off and got into his pyjama’s, Death appeared, a sorrow look on their face.

“I am sorry, Master.”

Harry shook his head, “this is not your fault, Death, I was just believing that things could turn out right, when they obviously never do, not for me.”

Death gave a sorrowful sigh, running a hand over his master’s hair before looking up, “someone has died, I must go.”

Harry nodded, a sad smile on his face. It had been fun while it lasted, but maybe it was time he moved on from Portland, besides Sean he hadn’t really gotten to know other people as most kept to themselves or the community, instead on interacting with the stranger.

Shaking his head, Harry put out the lights and turned around, closing his eyes thinking about what he would do tomorrow, if Sean didn’t show up or called he’s pack up and leave – before more things happened.

Chapter 26: 26. Elf - no pairing (SAO) continuation of 09

Chapter Text

Starting a school full of teens, and some adults, who had been locked in a game for a number of years and now needed time to both catch up to society, and to catch up to the schoolwork they missed was a very special adventure.

Harry, or Galahad, having been an elf not a month prior, did have a lot of trouble adjusting to all this. Not only was this completely different from what he was used to – in the UK, he had gone to school, but was punished to never be better than Dudley, which put him in the lowest passing grade overall.

Not only that, but he found the things taught here were much more advanced, and he liked that about it – he didn’t have to worry about anything that was happening and could show the others just how well he did in his courses, without getting any negative feedback about it.

He had also been beyond happy to hear that he would be seeing his friends on a regular basis now, even if most of them would be out of the course in a year or two – them having been much older than him, it didn’t bother him, not when he was finally free of his relatives.

He had also been lucky enough that Agil, or Andrew in real life, had wanted to take him in. The man had American roots and could help him with keeping his mother language up to date, as all he had spoken in recent years was Japanese, and some Latin.

The café owner and his wife were beyond glad to take him in, as they were childless, they couldn’t believe his relatives had chosen to leave him behind. Even if it made sense after Harry told them everything, they had done to him at one point, which made it back to the police who in turn notified their colleagues in England, which resulted in Petunia and Vernon getting extra jail time for child abuse, misuse of government funding and neglect.

Harry, while not knowing all of that, didn’t want to know either, after everything they had done to him, he was happy to know they were behind bars, and hoped – but doubted – that Dudley made a turnaround in his life.

As for him, he was exactly where he wanted to be, among friends, and those he now considered family, so he guessed he had to thank the Durlseys for that.

Chapter 27: 27. Novice - no pairing (Shingeki no Kyojin/attack on titan)

Chapter Text

Harry had no idea what he was looking at, it seemed to be some kind of giant species, but none like he had ever seen before. For one, their facial expressions neve changed, and from the looks of it, they ate the people they found or saw in the streets – which brought on a whole lot of chaos for the people in those streets, who didn’t seem to expect these giant-type beings to roam around.

Taking a seat on one of the rooftops, he kept on looking around, knowing, that despite being a novice, he couldn’t interact with anyone except those few dubbed ‘chosen ones’ or anyone set to die soon.

Stating that, the woman coming out of the house across from him seemed to notice him, which made him sigh.

Not even a minute later, a boulder crushed the house, trapping the woman under it.

What crushed him, however, was what he assumed her son and daughter finding her and getting taken away by one of this settlement’s guards, as she kept quit – not that it saved her. One of the giant-like being found her anyway and ate her in a gruesome manner.

He especially felt for her son, who watched the whole thing happen from the shoulders of the city guard. However, he knew the boy was something special when he seemed to notice him – a chosen one then.

Nodding, Harry tried to smile at the woman as he went to retrieve her soul, comforting her that her children had made it out of the invaded part of the city, and would be safe inside the other ring of the city.

She, Carla, seemed to make peace with that, nodding, but coming along as Harry guided her towards the afterlife. He never would have guessed that the Death that gave the three brothers their relics was the primordial being, ruling over all other personifications of Death – and he, as the Master-of-Death, was next in line for that job, taking over from his ancestor Ignotus, who had taken it prom the Death before him, when he greeted the entity like an old friend.

As part of his training, he was dropped into different worlds, to either get in touch with that world’s personification of Death, or to make sure the beings that died would make their way to their own version of the afterlife.

So far, he had met a military Shinigami force, Dead Gods that had humans do their dirty work, a world without anyone in it – unless one counted zombie-like creatures (who didn’t have a soul) and a world where a flask-made entity wanted to cheat dead by becoming the Truth.

Sighing and shaking his head, he couldn’t believe that a world existed where being like ‘titans’ devoured humans for no other reason then to kill the human race – he suspected more to be happening behind the scenes, and he would love to find out, but he guessed he would have to wait and see.

At least this world had an interesting chosen one in Eren Jeager, and he couldn’t wait to see what the boy would become, and what he would do.

Chapter 28: 28. Decent - Tony Stark/Harry Potter (MCU) continuation of the others with the same pairing xD

Chapter Text

The war about planet Earth, and the infinity stones might have been won, there was still one other battle that needed to be fought, especially once everyone got a look at the videos that had appeared on the internet, the public’s reaction to them, as well as the reaction of the Accord’s counsel, once it became clear that the first thing some of the rouges did when they were back on American soil, was to attack Tony Stark.

Most of them couldn’t hide their disgust at what Rogers, Maximoff and Romanov were playing at, and even Clint, Sam and Scott didn’t know what they needed to think about what had happened not even 2 hours after they had been welcomed back on American soil.

Harry’s approach of side lining them and informing the counsel of what had happened was met with quite a lot of cheers, but then again – most of the people on the battlefield were there because of the British born man.

None of them would have thought to band together against this alien force that wanted to destroy the Earth for the Infinity Stones it held – even more so because Thanos felt sighted at the hands of Tony Stark, who had become known as Earth’s Mightiest Hero.

With most of the others not willing to talk to the three in lock up, James Barnes had volunteered, in the first place to point out all the wrongs Steve had done, as well as to point out how petty he and the two women were being about something long past. Plus, he just wanted an extra reason to have his say to Steve.

Which was getting harder and harder, as the moment he came into the line of sight of the blond, he had lit up like a Christmas tree and called him ‘Bucky’, Bucky hadn’t been there since that fall off the train. The things HYDRA had done, had fucked up the man once known as Bucky enough that when he finally lost the conditioning and was free, he had to scrap together who he was from pieces of Bucky, James, and the Winter soldier.

Scowling at the blond, “don’t call me that, I am not Bucky anymore.”

As if that was blasphemy, the blond, aided by the two redhaired women started blaming Stark, of all people, for the fact that he didn’t like to be called Bucky anymore.

“For God’s sake, Stevie, shut up. I haven’t been Bucky since I fell off that train, and you have never listened to me when I told you I like to be called James now. And don’t start that I didn’t like that when we were younger. Younger means 75 years ago, a lot of things can change in that time.

And not only that, but you keep going on and on about Stark having money and owing it to you. The man owes you nothing, not even a dime. He did what he did because he wanted to, and you all took advantage of that, because he has to money.

But newsflash Steve, so do you. You still get a retirement from the army, even if you were never fully enlisted, that’s a back payment for 75 years. Add to that the salary you got paid from SHIELD, during a time where Stark paid for all your expenses. If that isn’t hypocrisy, I don’t know what is, you just don’t want to spend your own dime looking for me, or even helping the world. Thinking that you are still the only think who knows right from wrong – which isn’t, by the way.

The decent thing would have been to come clean to Stark for what you needed to money, and he would have given it to you anyway. But in going behind his back, you only blew up your own bridges.”

James sighed, “I came here to say goodbye, and to tell you the counsel will be here to pick you up in an hour for all of your hearings. Good luck with that, too, I don’t think you, any of you, will ever walk free from here.”

With that, he turned around and left the area the three were held in, tuning out the yells for him to come back and let them out.

Especially the Bucky he could hear being yelled made him not want to turn around.

Sighing, he was startled by the man waiting for him in the hallway, a mug of coffee in his hand.

“That was a brave thing you did there, saying goodbye. Here, I think you need this.”

Nodding, and thanking the Brit, he took the mug of coffee and found it to made just to his liking – which surprised him.

Harry smiled, “I pay attention to people around me, after effect of my occupation and what I experienced, I’m afraid.”

Humming, the man sipped his coffee some more, looking at the Brit who had been able to gather a lot of people in a very small time frame, all willing to fight for the future of the universe and the Earth, just because of who he was.

“I think, it also has something to do with the way you just get people, Mr. Potter, you don’t expect anything from anyone, but are willing to look past their masks and see the real person behind them.”

Harry smiled, “that’s because no one can hide from me, just as no one can hide from Death.”

Chapter 29: 29. Trust - Sean Renard/ Harry Potter (Grimm) continuation of 20 and 25

Chapter Text

Sean knew he had made a mistake in just sending Harry outside of his apartment. Not only had the Brit been nice to him, but he had also felt incredible in their short-lived relationship. But of course, he had to blew it, for himself, and for Harry.

When the Brit, who hadn’t looked or felt like a Wesen, had suddenly told him it was alright for him to Woge in bed, he had freaked out. For so long there had been agents send by his brother or cousins, who had tried to get close to him, only to betray him to the Royals in an effort to put him out of the game.

Never mind that Portland was known as a safe-heaven for Wesen, especially once Nick came into his own and approached all of this from a cop perspective instead of a Grimm one.

Sighing, he rested his head into his hands, looking up when said Grimm and his partner entered his office, the look Nick and Hank exchanged letting him know he wasn’t doing a great job of keeping it hidden that he felt like crap.

“You alright, Captain.”

Sean sighed again, “I made a huge mistake last night.”

Both of his best detectives took a seat and invited him to spill his story, which he did, happy to have people around him that were willing to listen, and who knew everything that was going on behind the scenes.

Nick hummed, “I think you overreacted a little bit, but I think if you were to approach him, he’d be open to talk this out. This man seemed really smitten with you, Sean.”

Sean sighed again, “I think you’re right, but I can’t just leave the precinct like this.”

Nick grinned, “sure you can, leave everything in our hands, and Wu’s, we’ll make sure everything runs smoothly, while you take the time to get everything right with your lover.”

Sean gave a small smile, before he nodded, knowing that between Nick, Hank and Wu, everything would be going as it always did. Not only that, but the three men had proven themselves capable of handling everything he did – even if it took the three of them to do so.

“Wish me luck then.”

Hank smiled, “I don’t think you need luck, Captain, you just need to trust in this, that it will be alright.”

Chapter 30: 30. Rejection - Sean Renard/Harry Potter (Grimm- continuation of 20, 25 and 29

Chapter Text

Sean was happy he would get this chance to go and see Harry, after everything that had happened yesterday, he hoped the other man hadn’t decided to leave Portland as of yet. He knew the other to be a traveller and wouldn’t blame him if he packed up and left so much earlier then he wanted to, because of what happened the night before.

Hurrying to the other’s apartment, part of him was glad that he did have a chance to see where the other lived. Having to track him down, now, and not knowing if this were the right one, would hurt even more.

Sighing, he made his way up the stairs and knocked on the door.

Silence met him for the first minute, before he heard the lock of the door being turned. When it opened, he was met with slightly bloodshot eyes, making him wince – he knew he had hurt the other man, but to see the evidence of the other crying was something else.

“Harry… I…”

The Brit just nodded, opening the door to let him enter, which honestly surprised him.

“Come on in, Sean.”

Still surprised, he stepped over the threshold, taking a seat when Harry pointed towards one of the chairs at his kitchen table.

“Harry, I came to apologize.”

Harry shook his head, “I understand your reaction, not that I liked it to be honest, but I do understand.”

Sean sighed, before he told the other of all the others that had known about him, having been planted by his family to get as much information about him as possible, before going back to the Royals in an effort to discredit him or to hurt him.

Harry nodded, “as I said, I understand that, but I am not sent here by the Royals. I was honest when I said someone recommended Portland to me, to get away from everything. The fact that I know about Wesen, despite not being one made it easier too.”

Sean sighed, “are you a Grimm?”

Harry laughed, “no, I’m not. I’m something else entirely – something above all these Wesen, The Varrat or the Royals.”

Sean blinked, thinking back about what Harry told him when he left his place lest night. Not knowing what he had to think about that, as far as he knew there were no other forces outside the Counsel, the Royals or the Resistance interested in Portland.

“Then what…”

Harry laughed, “no one can hide from Death, and as such, no one can hide for his avatar here on Earth.”

Sean tried to process what was going on, “so I’m going to die?”

Harry shook his head, “not at all, I… came from a very bad place, and I needed to place to find myself again. Death told me I would find love and friends here in Portland, but I guess that didn’t turn out so well.”

Sean still didn’t know what he had to say, it was after all not everyday that someone told you they were the avatar of Death, even if he had heard of stranger things in his lifetime.

“I did come here to apologize, and I mean that, I would like to go back where we left off.”

Harry smiled sadly at Sean, “I don’t… I think we all went way to fast about this, and that’s why you didn’t trust me. I would like to not have that happen again. So, this isn’t a no – but this is a; let’s start over.”

Sean blinked, the sting of rejection coming to the forefront, even if this wasn’t a total rejection, he wasn’t used to this. Most of the people he took home for the night, or who he had a relationship with never wanted to take it slow – but then again, the ones that had been spies hadn’t been discovered until later. While other bedpartners were mostly one-night stands.

“I see.”

Harry gave a grin, “I really like you, Sean, and I want to be able to stay in Portland, but I also want to be able to be totally honest and to enjoy seeing where this goes. If that’s alright with you.”

Sean just nodded, taking the hand reached out to him, glad he could make up for his own mistake. And maybe it was time he became taken with someone who he thought would make a great partner, and who wouldn’t be scared away by his Family or anything related to that.

Chapter 31: 31. Free choice - no pairing (multicrossover) - runs simultaniously with 27

Notes:

Sneak peak at the rewrite I'm planning for a Time where heroes of all kinds unite :)

Chapter Text

Harry sighed once again, as he had done the last half-hour, as he looked over the realms he now had to manage.

After he had managed to gather all three of the Hallows, and had died, once again, he had met Death – the real Death, who told them that the Hallows had been a test, twice now, to determine a worthy successor for the position of Primordial Being.

The Death now roaming the universes, had once been Ignotus Peverell, who after he had hide from Death his whole life, had been found worthy of the role. After all, he hadn’t used Death’s gift to actually cheat, he had just used it to be able to live his life with his family instead of trying to prove he was better than a Primordial Being.

The Death he took over from had told him that there would be another of his line, someone who would manage to accidentally join all three of the Hallows, and who wouldn’t want them or what they granted – which in a way would grant him what they gifted anyway.

Anyway, after the war, dying by Voldemort’s hand and defeating the Dark Lord, Death came to him once more, to explain exactly what it meant to hold the title of ‘Master of Death’.

At first Harry had tried to deny it, to say he didn’t want it and didn’t plan on actually accepting the title.

Which had Ignotus just smiling sadly, saying that he didn’t have a choice. Death wasn’t eternal, yet it was, but every time with a different face – kind of like the Doctor in Doctor Who. There had to be an overseer of Death across the universes, and that task would now fall onto Harry.

Ignotus did say that he would train the other to manage the tasks he held, and to explain everything he would need to do. After some bickering, he also agreed to wait until Harry could say goodbye to his friends and loved ones – applying a changing glamour on his heir, to give the appearance of aging, so he wouldn’t be singled out and to come with him and begin his new job, as soon as his friends and family had died.

Seeing as Ignotus had been Death for quite some time, he didn’t mind waiting a 100 years, after all what was a 100 years in a few millennia.

Once that time passed, Ignotus came to collect his heir, who came without any trouble – donning his young face once more, as the glamour was taken off, to a place in between everything, where they could watch over the universes as if watching a TV show.

Ignotus explained that every universe had some sort of representation of Death, but that not all of them were as active as they had to be, were very young and didn’t know what to do, or didn’t believe they even had an overseer and just fucked everything up.

Every universe also had a Chosen One, and if they made show about them this person would most likely be the protagonist – but anyway, every Chosen One could see them, as they had the capability to become one of the reincarnations of the Primordial Being themselves, even if they wouldn’t become that in the time Harry was. But it was a possibility, meaning they could see, speak, and interact with him, and with every other Chosen One out there.

Not only that, but there had never been a Death who allowed the universes to mingle, but that was up to Harry if he wanted to let that happen or not. Ignotus told him it might not be a bad idea, as there were such individuals who seemed to believe that they could control Death (even if that was just the one from their home universe) but who know what they managed to pull off – and having Harry under the control of someone else meant bad business for everyone, everywhere.

“So, what you are telling me is to look for, and find, these Chosen Ones, tell them who I am and prevent a universal catastrophe where some jerk takes over all of the universes?”

Ignotus nodded slowly, “it has not happened yet, but who knows when it will. I met several people who I think might pose a threat of that level, and I will make sure to point them out to you.”

Guiding Harry towards the screens, he pointed, “chose one, and we will go and explore. Keep in mind though, that every universe has its own unique characteristics – like for example Alchemy is not some obscure practice, but rather something militarised.

In another, there is a whole society of Death Gods, or Shinigami who protect the human world from a creature called a Hallow, never mind that Hallows do the exact same thing they do – they purify a dead soul, so they are able to be reincarnated and the cycle starts again.

In others, there is a fruit that gives amazing powers, at the cost of being able to swim – in a world were 80% is ocean. Or one where villages make their money with militarised ninja, who keep on getting pitted against one another for some reason.

Harry shivered and pointed to what seemed to be a normal universe, one where they seemed to live at the beginning of the industrial area, from the looks of it, it seemed to be a quiet universe too – enclosed in 3 walls that were built around each other.

Pointing to that one, Ignotus just smiled mysteriously, but nodded and helped him get there.

“One more thing, people that will die in the next few moments will be seeing you too.”

Frowning, Harry had no idea what the other man meant by that, it seemed to be totally quiet and peaceful here. That was, until he could see what seemed to be a giant being peering out over the outer wall, the people around him suddenly panicking and more than a few noticing him.

Sighing, he couldn’t believe his luck, it would seem that he had chosen a universe that would get its own personal apocalyptic event while he was visiting. Great, just great.

As he looked over the giant, Ignotus appeared and told him that they had arrived at a universe that had giants running around which only purpose was to eat people – they didn’t need to, as they had no visible way of relieving themselves, but they did so anyway.

The giant he could see, had the name Colossal titan, and was part of a 9 piece set of shifters, that could willingly change into a titan or giant, and control it. What they had arrived at was the start of a war that had been going on for quite some time and which would end in the years to come – but this, this would be the starting point of it all.

Roaming around, Harry had to flinch at the death he could see happening all around, meanwhile Ignotus seemed to appear like nothing was happening.

When he asked his ancestor why the man didn’t react, he just smiled sadly, and told him that wasn’t the first event like this he had witnessed.

“There will be many more like this, Harry, after all, sometimes a world will come to its end, and as such, you will have to be there to take care of those being still left there.

This isn’t a very thankful job, and it will get lonely at times, unless of course you try and find other Chosen Ones to converse with.”

Harry swallowed thickly, but nodded, stopping suddenly as he noticed a woman pushing her children away, into the arms of a Wall Guard. Telling the man to take them and leave.

The man does so but cannot prevent the boy from seeing his mother get eaten by a giant. They cross glazes for a moment, letting Harry know he had found the Chosen One of this world.

Ignotus hummed, “if you concentrate, you should be able to see who he is, and who other people are. After all, no one can keep secrets from Death.”

Nodding, Harry concentrates on the boy and sees a brief writing of ‘Eren Jeager – Next Attack Titan’ appear above him. That could get interesting.
