To Everyone Else

Summary:

Din moves from the city to a small town to give Grogu more space to grow. Being the reserved omega he is he never thought of anyone courting him. Watch our three alphas try to do just that without Din even knowing. The rest of the town is tired of watching them struggle.

Oblivious Din and Courting Boba/Luke/Cobb AU

Notes:

I'm finally doing something that I haven't done in a couple of years. Write a multi-chapter fic! I'm very excited about what I have planned for this story and I hope everyone enjoys it!

Chapter 1: The Dinner

Chapter Text

It felt as if something hung in the air. Din wasn't sure what it was, he and Omera had a very pleasant evening. It was like there was something that needed to be said, something she needed to say that she wasn't.

"Alright kiddo time to go," Din huffed as he lifted the toddler off of the floor. He smiled softly as Omera's daughter pouted, upset that their visit was over. "I'm very happy we could catch up Din," Omera walked with them outside, her scent was light like spring water and fresh linen. He enjoyed it very much.

"It's my pleasure. Grogu always enjoys himself here," Din hummed as he leaned over to strap his son into the car seat he situated into his truck. Well, the truck he was supposed to be "borrowing" from one of the members of the town, a very nice truck. Though it now feels like it was given to him which made him a bit itchy.

Din perked up as more of Omera's scent drifted towards him but it was filled with more anxiousness. He glanced over at her as she rubbed her fingers against the hood of his truck. He was about to open his mouth and say something before she decided to speak up first.

"Have you ever thought about a mate Din?" Omera tilted her head softly finally looking back over at him.

Din froze momentarily his eyes darting around before standing up to close the back seat door. "No? Where is this coming from?" Din crossed his arms over his chest. Omera was an omega like he was, he was fairly sure that she wasn't offering anything, plus she's mated.

"Well, I've just noticed how our leaders treat you. Boba "loaning" you this nice truck, Cobb offering to show you around, Luke wanting to watch over Grogu if you ever needed. It just seems like they're trying to court you."

"Court me?" Din chuckled softly pulling the keys from his pocket, "They're just trying to be nice Omera. I only moved here two weeks ago, I'm not exactly on my feet yet, especially with that little one." Omera hummed as she followed him over to the driver's side, "I don't know, everyone in town has mentioned how they look at you. How they leave their scent on you whenever they get a chance."

Din grunted as he climbed behind the steering wheel, "No one uses suppressants here, everyone leaves their scent on anyone," He muttered, "I don't think they'll have anything to do with me by the end of the month."

Omera shrugged softly taking a step back as he started the engine, "Well, get home safe." Din nodded softly turning backward as he backed out of her driveway. He and Grogu waved her off as he started down the road.

Courting. Din clenched the wheel as he thought back to what she said. Boba only let him borrow this truck because he never needed one in the city. He's borrowing it, he was going to give it back no matter how much Boba insisted that he didn't need to. And Cobb was the sheriff, it was a bit of his job to help him find his way around. He just so happened to get him lunch in between, Grogu was getting hungry. It was nice

He could also tell Luke was a ray of sunshine. He would help out whoever needed it in the town, his ranch was huge, the kid loved running around in all that grass. Din sighed softly glancing at Grogu starting to fall asleep in the backseat. He smiled softly relaxing back into his seat. Omera was just being silly, the whole town was. They were all being very nice to him which he was extremely grateful for.

Moving here was quite the... adjustment. His small apartment wasn't big enough for Grogu to grow up in, he deserved better. Not that the place he had now was much bigger but it was a start, he didn't have to worry about the kid getting trampled in crowds anymore.

The truck bounced gently as he pulled into the gravel of the lot he was renting. He found a small trailer home for cheap, it needed a bit of work but he didn't have to think about people above or below him. Turning the key the engine cut off and he hopped out; so focused on getting Grogu out of the car without waking him he didn't even notice the figure standing on his front porch.

"Cobb! I didn't see you there..." Din tightened his grip on the toddler slightly. The scare caused him to flare his scent briefly, he noticed as Cobb took a deep breath before apologizing.

"Sorry Din I didn't mean to scare you," Cobb smiled gently as he pushed his scent, he smelt of apples and gunpowder. It was a lot more calming than it sounded. "I just got here myself, I didn't know if you'd be gone long," Cobb moved out of the way allowing him to unlock the door.

"It's fine, you could have called," Din spoke quietly making a beeline to his bedroom placing Grogu gently into his bed. Cobb didn't enter much past the doormat, he fidgeted with his gloves idly. Din appreciated the gesture, he hadn't had an alpha in his home since-... since before he moved here.

"What can I do for you sheriff?" Din returned to the living room. He hoped he didn't look as tense as he felt. He trusted Cobb and knew he wouldn't try anything, but what Omera told him had a bit on edge.

"Actually Boba thought it might be a nice idea if you joined us for dinner tomorrow," Cobb started, he noticed how Din suddenly looked like a dear in headlights, "We don't get new people around here very often! We wanted your input on what we could improve." He purred softly in an attempt to calm the omega, "Only if you wanted to. Of course, Grogu could come along too."

Oh, this was business. A nice meeting they wanted to hold over dinner, nothing else. "Um..." Din thought as he glanced over at his fridge. He hadn't been grocery shopping yet, what he had would be enough for breakfast and a small lunch for Grogu. "I'll definitely join you tomorrow," Din smiled softly, while Cobb beamed at him.

"Great! Then I'll see you at 7 tomorrow, at Boba's place," Cobb backed out of his still open front door nearly stumbling over his own feet, "Ah, I'll get out of your hair. Have a good night!"

"You too," Din smiled as he shut the door. His heart raced as the alpha's scent lingered, it was calming... too calming and his mind was trying to fight against it. He pulled at the collar of his turtle neck, he had been taught to resist alpha temptation while he grew up. He learned to hold his scent so tight that no one could tell what he was, he wore a tank top that covered his neck underneath all of his clothes to specifically cover his scent gland.

This was all from the group home he was raised in after his parents were killed. Armorer, she went by her last name, taught him everything he knew to defend himself, to keep his mind pure. But this was the first time his mind was faltering, he ran his fingers through his hair rubbing against his tense scalp. Maybe he just needed some sleep, it had been too long of a day and this new emotional whirlwind wasn't helping.

Trudging back to his room comforted by Grogu peacefully sleeping sprawled out underneath the covers. He peeled off his clothes until he was down to his tank top and boxers. He'll take a shower in the morning, he groaned climbing into the bed getting comfortable. Well, as comfortable as he could, Grogu felt his warmth as he settled into the bed, he scooted into his side curling into a ball.

Din yawned rubbing small circles into the kid's back his eyes growing heavy and consciousness going fuzzy. Grogu snoring softly at his side, he was out within minutes in a dreamless slumber.

The morning was like any other, his alarm going off at 7 o'clock sharp. Din snuck out of bed careful not to wake Grogu before he was ready. The kid rarely talked but he sure had an attitude if things didn't go his way.

He woke up an hour early to make sure he could get himself situated before having to take care of the little one. He sighed deeply as the hot water sprayed down onto his skin. He stood in it for a moment until he was fully awake. Today he had a longer shift at the small shop down the road, it was going to take him right up until the dinner. It wasn't the best thing in the world but it was the most flexible for now. When Grogu is old enough to start school he'd look for something different. He actually wouldn't mind being the sheriff's deputy, remembering Cobb mentioned that he could use some help around town.

Which reminded him... he splashed water onto his face washing the tiredness out of his eyes, he agreed to dinner tonight. Fuck, what was he thinking? Having dinner with three alphas, he wasn't even used to being open around one of them. The only reason he'd survive is because he could bring his secret weapon.

Din sighed turning off the water stepping out of the shower to towel off. Grogu was a conversation starter or a polite excuse to escape. He smirked softly as he put on his uniform thinking about all the times he used Grogu to get out of an uncomfortable situation.

Speaking of which, "Mornin' kiddo did you climb out of bed yourself?" Din grunted as he lifted the toddler into his arms. Grogu nodded rubbing his eyes, he rested his head against Din's shoulder yawning.

Now, it was time to take care of everything else. Din bathed him, got him dressed, and made themselves a small breakfast. Grogu grunted as he forced his foot into his tiny sneakers; Din really needed to teach him how to tie his shoes.

It was a short drive to the convenience store. The sun was bright and hot as hell today. He had to squint his eyes as he walked to Grogu's side of the truck. It was a bit of a routine now, he bought one of those baby carrier things so he could carry around Grogu on his back while he worked. Din turned around and bend down as the kid stood up from his car seat climbing into the carrier. It definitely killed his back by the end of the day but he didn't feel right asking his new townsfolk to watch Grogu so often, even if they did say it was fine.

It was a slow day. He stocked some of the stuff that was running low, Grogu played on his phone behind his head. It was quiet until-

"I heard somebody got a visit from the sheriff last night!" Cara smirked as she placed a six-pack on the counter. "Word really does travel fast around here, huh?" Din smiled softly as he scanned the set.

"I didn't expect you to be causing trouble so soon. Did you work your omega magic to get off easy," She wiggled her eyebrows as Din blushed softly.

"No, don't say that! Grogu is right here!" Din turned slightly, Grogu perking up waving softly. "Aw you know I'm just messin' around, hey kid" Cara laughed softly her alpha scent filling the air, it smelt of smoke and roses.

Din sighed softly tapping his fingers against the countertop, "He came over and invited me to dinner with Boba and Luke." Cara whistled loudly her eyes big as she looked away. Din groaned loudly covering his face, "It isn't like you think! They just want a fresh perspective from a newcomer."

"If that's what you say. People 'round here are seeing very different things," she huffed handing him the money for the drinks. "They aren't interested in me like that. It's business or whatever, Boba is probably going to ask for his truck back," Din counted her change handing it to her, "You going to see Omera?"

Cara smiled grabbing her change and six-pack, "She's the reason I do what I do. I don't see how you could stand living in the city." She shivered as she started out of the door, "Have fun at dinner!"

Din cringed softly before waving, "Thanks..." Cara worked in the city off and on. She'd spend 3 weeks here and 3 weeks there; Omera and her daughter missed her dearly when she was gone. Din kept them company when they really needed it. It's what he liked most around the town, the sense of family and looking out for one another. It's exactly what he wanted Grogu to learn and grow up in.

He mentioned how the shift was moving slow, well now it ended too fast. He gripped the key as he turned the lock. It was about a 20-minute drive to Boba's place and fuck was he hungry and tired. Grogu climbed out on the carrier into his car seat, Din grunted softly as he stretched out his back. A deep arch spread from the middle of his spine to the base.

"Hungry," Grogu said quietly. "I know kiddo, we're going to get some dinner right now," Din murmured.

Hopping into the front seat he pulled down the mirror running his fingers through his hair. Man, he looked like shit. He groaned slamming the mirror shut and starting the engine. He needed to calm down, they'd understand why he didn't look his best, right? He hoped so, his nerves made it hard to hold his scent tight. The last thing he wanted to do was relax in front of any friendly alpha. It would give the wrong presentation.

Throughout the whole ride, he tried to fluff his hair and rub the tiredness from his eyes. Whether it worked he didn't know, but it shouldn't matter that much. This was a business dinner they just wanted some insight into what his experience was.

Because they cared about their town. This wasn't about him.

"Yeah," Din sighed quietly as he put the truck into park looking up at the mansion in front of him. This wasn't about him.

He walked slowly Grogu tight in his arms as he approached the main door. It opened before he even knocked, he was met by a pleasant smile from none other than Fennec Shand. Her calming beta scent instantly put him more at ease. "Din, please come in," She gestured him to enter.

Din nodded softly as he walked in, his nose filled with the scent of eucalyptus and rum. This is definitely Boba's home. Wandering slightly he looked around at the interior, it was well lit, a chandelier dropped beautifully from the ceiling, there wasn't a speck of dust to be found. He swallowed thickly, maybe he should have changed.

"Follow me," Fennec instructed after she let him take in his surrounding. Din followed her loosely still wondered by all the things around him. The house was absolutely gorgeous filled with different Earth tones and expensive knick-knacks.

They reached the dining room and he gasped softly. It was clearly the part he put the most work in. Grogu was just as amazed as he was, his eyes big as he took in every part of the room.

"Din! Welcome, I'm glad could you make it," Boba stood smiling softly. Cobb and Luke looked up from their conversation, standing to greet him as well. Their scents flared together mixing in a pleasant combination. It made Din bite his tongue. "Oh I didn't know you had work, we could have pushed it a little later," Cobb looked at him a little worried. Damn, did he look that bad?

Before Din could even respond Grogu made grabbing motions to Luke. He absolutely didn't complain when Luke smiled sweetly with a small hey little one as he took him from his arms. Grogu was always attracted to Luke, he was the only one he willingly went to. "No it's fine, I'm sorry I couldn't freshen up," Din rubbed the back of his neck.

They all spoke up in unison telling him not to apologize for how he looked. Din looked between them a bit stunned before Boba cleared his throat. "Why don't we start our meal, I'm sure you're famished. After if you wanted you could borrow some of my clothes if you'd like to be more comfortable."

Din blushed slightly as they took their seats, Boba just offered him clothes to wear... though the thought was short-lived as he started digging in. The table has a spread of roast chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, homemade rolls. Din was absolutely in heaven, even Grogu finished the whole plate that Luke made for him.

The alphas shared a brief look between each other before partaking in their meal as well. Luke cleared his throat softly, "Well Din, we don't seem to know you that well. Tell us about yourself." Din made a noise of acknowledgment swallowing his food before answering, "All of you know that I moved from the city..." He didn't know how much they wanted to know but he was never ashamed of his past.

"I actually lost my parents pretty young. I grew up in a religious home, that's where I met Paz. He's like a brother to me, no matter how much we fight." Din poked at the rest of the food on his plate realizing he's been put on the spot, "Um... when I moved out I worked a couple of jobs to make ends meet. After my shift one day I stumbled upon Grogu in the subway."

The rest of the table stopped eating as he continued, watching him with a concerned look on their face.

"I stayed there for hours to see if anyone would come for him but nobody did. Poor thing was so malnourished that his caste hadn't developed yet, it unfortunately still hasn't.  So, I took him home and found a note in his pocket that said his name was Grogu and that they couldn't take care of him," Din laughed nervously, "I don't know what made me think I could but I couldn't give him up and... he's been by my side ever since," Din looked up tensing softly as he saw the look on their faces. Shit, did he say too much?

"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"

Din paled as a soft growl grew from deep within Boba's chest. His eyes darted to Fennec who perked up from the corner pushing her beta scent to the seemingly angered alpha. Luke and Cobb shot him a deathly look, the alpha soon realizing what he was doing.

"My apologies!" Boba took a deep breath for continuing, "I was just... overwhelmed by your circumstances. You didn't deserve to grow up like that." Ah... Din relaxed sightly though he did move his position closer to a Grogu, "It's okay, I wasn't looking for pity." A tense silence stretched between them for a moment. Cobb opened his mouth to speak but Din did first.

"Can I use your bathroom? I need to clean up the little one," Din stood up he walked around the table to grab Grogu from Luke's lap.

"Of course, Fennec could you?" Boba spoke softly, much different from before. Fennec nodded leading the way for them, he heard heated whispers just before he left the room. Their walk was silent for the most part Fennec still letting her scent drift to calm his nerves.

"He usually isn't like that I promise. He would never hurt you or Grogu," She said firmly, she meant it. And Din believed her, he didn't fully understand why but he knew none of them would put him in any harm. She gestured to the bathroom and told him to take his time. He closed and locked the door, the bathroom was huge. Grogu sat on the lid of the toilet and Din pulled out his phone calling the one he needed right now.

"Go for Paz."

"Hey, Paz I um... I just needed to hear from you," Din wedged the phone between his ear and shoulder as he wet a rag in the sink.

"Well, I'm here, What's going on? Are you alright?" Paz had an edge to his voice.

Din chewed at his lip softly as he bent down wiping Grogu's face. "I'm at an alpha's house and I think I've angered him. Maybe all three of them."

"Din. You're at an alpha's house right now? With three alphas." Paz repeated sternly into the phone, "I knew I shouldn't have let you move so far away. What did you do? Are you safe? Do you need me to come?"

Paz was big for an omega, he learned to pass much easier than Din which made him the protector of their home. "No, no, I'm not in any danger. But I don't know what I did wrong... I was just talking and he started growling," Din sighed as he place the rag on the rack moving to fix Grogu's hair and clothes,

"...How do you know if an alpha is courting you?"

"DIN. Please tell me you are covered right now," Paz yelled through the phone that time. "Yes! Yes, I am. It's just that they made me and Grogu a big dinner tonight, one of them let me borrow their truck for a while now, another is really good with Grogu," Din gripped the countertop looking at himself in the mirror. Fuck, he didn't want to be much longer.

"Geez, Grogu is there with you too... It sounds like they're trying to show they can provide for you, and take care of pups," Paz grunted, "But I'm not there, they could just be friendly because you're new."

Din shivered at the thought of pups right now, it seemed Paz only served to unease him even more, "Well thanks a lot. I'll call you when I get home."

He hung up picking up Grogu to return to the dining room with Fennec. The alphas looked as if they were surprised he came back. They had already started cleaning up the table, Cobb was packing food into containers, Boba and Luke were working in tandem cleaning and drying the dishes. He felt bad, maybe he shouldn't have taken so long.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to take so long," Din said quietly setting Grogu down, "I can still help if you need it."

"No, no, you're the guest we got it," Luke smiled softly glancing back at him. "Here these are for you to take home," Cobb placed a bag filled with containers of leftovers on the kitchen counter.

"Ah, thank you so much. You didn't have to," Din blushed softly peeking into the bag filled with a lot of food. Din yawned softly rubbing his tired eyes.

"You're welcomed to stay if you don't think you can make it home," Boba suggested, "I have clothes but you might swim in them." Din worked his jaw, Ahsoka's home wasn't far... he could stop there if he really needed. He did it a couple of times before he was completely moved in but, there was no way he could stay here. Their scents were starting to make his mind feel fuzzy and he didn't like it. They were just friends and Boba clearly wasn't interested in anything more.

"Ahsoka's house isn't far I'll stop there if I really need to, but..." Din looked down at his uniform, the fabric feeling particularly unpleasant against his skin, "I wouldn't mind a new set of clothes."

The alphas seemed to deflate as he told them he wasn't going to stay or his tired alpha high mind was just making him see things. "Let me go get them for you," Boba said tightly as he dried his hands on a towel and disappeared out of the dining room. Grogu had managed to wander over to Luke clinging to his leg, Din was going to call him back before Luke bent down to pick him up.

"I hope you don't mind stayin' a bit longer. We really did want to talk about your experience movin' here," Cobb put a small smile on his face. Luke cooed at Grogu smiling sweetly at the little one, Grogu giggled quietly as he wrapped his tiny hand around a much bigger finger. Din's heart swelled seeing him so happy, he couldn't break them up now.

"I don't mind for a bit longer, it's the least I could do after all you guys have done for me," Din smiled weakly. "Please don't feel obligated to owe us anything. We just want to make sure you're taken care of," Boba returned with a clean set of clothes. He was right, Din was definitely going to swim in these.

They continued their meeting well into the evening. As it continued things became less tense and conversation followed easily. Though it was a rough start Din could absolutely say he enjoyed himself.

They stood outside around Din's borrowed truck, he shot Ahsoka a quick text that he was coming over for the night. There was no way he was going to make it home now. "I promise I'll return this as soon as I can," Din promised as he watched Luke place a sleeping Grogu into his car seat. "Please theirs no need, keep it," Boba waved his hand opening the driver's side door for him.

Din didn't have the energy to go back and forth with him but he was absolutely returning the truck, "Well thank you all. I enjoyed myself, we both did." Din climbed in, starting the car and rolling down the window. "It was our pleasure," Cobb smiled his thumbs hooked under his belt.

They waved him off as he backed out of the driveway, Din waved when he finally pulled off. Ahsoka was roughly 10 minutes away rather than 30 to get back to his own home. All he needed was a soft knock before she opened the door welcoming him in.

"Sorry for such late notice," Din held Grogu gently, he probably looked like a zombie coming into her house. "It's no problem, I told you, you were welcome at any time... but," Ahsoka waved her hand in front of her face briefly, "Are you sure you were just having dinner. You are potent." Din murmured apologetically he didn't even realize, though her blueberry and grease scent was a swift change.

"Here we can talk in the morning, you look like a corpse," Ahsoka chuckled softly leading him to the guest bedroom. He knew where it was but she followed him to make sure he didn't pass out.

"Thank you so much, Ahsoka... this means a lot." She smiled at his tired rambling as he placed Grogu under the covers, climbing in right next to him. He was out as soon as his head hit the pillow. Poor thing, Ahsoka patted his shoulder softly before turning out the light.

Chapter 2: The Dinner (Reversed)

Notes:

We get some perspective from our alphas about the dinner. I am enjoying every second of writing this and am happy to announce that most of the chapters have been mapped out, we're looking at about 12-13 chapters. Now I just have to write them lol

Chapter Text

It wasn't until morning that Cobb told Luke and Boba that Din had agreed to come to their dinner.

"That's fantastic! Did he seem to show any extra interest?" Cobb could hear Luke's excitement through the phone. Boba hummed on the other end of the three-way call, "He didn't seem uncomfortable, did he?"

"I'm not sure, I didn't stick around very long 'cause Grogu was asleep and he had Omera's scent on him. He did seem a little stunned when I asked him though," Cobb leaned back at his desk in the sheriff's department. He sighed dreamily, "His home was full of his scent. It's a shame he keeps it so tight outside of it." Din had the most wondrous unforgettable scent. It was indescribable the only thing they could compare it to is petrichor and magnolias when he did have sudden flares, like when he accidentally startled him on the porch.

"Don't tease..." Luke muttered quietly before Boba took over. "We should start cooking soon, Luke could you come and Cobb you can join us after you're finished at the office." Luke of course agreed; while they all had a say about what happened in the town, Boba was really their leader.

"Don't get so tense boss, I'm sure Din would appreciate whatever we do. Plus... I'm not sure he realizes were courting him," Cobb chewed at the end of a pen. Boba was the oldest out of all of them despite what the sheriff's hair color might show. He'd gone the longest without courting an omega, it was kind of funny how nervous he was.

"I'm not tense. I just want to make sure he's comfortable, we all heard the rumors of what happened to his parents..." Boba said in a hushed tone; a stretch of silences spread between them.

An article online was found dated decades ago with the last name Djarin. Sadly, it was a wrong place wrong time situation, both of his parents were attacked and killed by a raging drunken alpha. Something like that would make anyone wary of the whole caste and Din seemed a bit jumpier around them.

"I believe if he allowed Cobb into his home then he's more open than we're making it seem. He has made it very clear that he can defend himself against an alpha," Luke grinned through the phone as Cobb laughed softly.

Before Din had ever revealed his scent, he was at Omera's house picking up some old furniture when Cara came home. Cara, of course, being her mate not knowing who he was thought this guy was some kind of homewrecker. Either way, it was his first real emergency call in a while, poor Omera was freaking out over the phone. He had to admit Din looked pretty ferocious when he separated them.

He felt a tingle up his spine as Din wipe the blood from his nose. After the moment had calmed down everyone picked up on the new scent. That was how they and soon the whole town found out Din was an omega, he told Omera in confidence and she didn't want to break that when the argument started. Cara was then very apologetic about the misunderstanding and while Cobb was still a bit frustrated in the back of his mind he was over the moon to find out.

"Still let's keep this as relaxed as possible. We don't want to scare him off," Boba sounded like he was already pulling out pots in the kitchen, "See you at 7." The two of them said their goodbyes and hung up the line. Cobb sighed rubbing his eyes. He never usually had this much trouble courting but Din was something different. He was special in that to Cobb and the rest of them believed he was the one. It was very rare for alphas to willingly share an omega but they'd known each other so long that it came much easier.

Plus it isn't like they'd hadn't explored the options with each other either. Cobb sighed running his fingers through his hair, he needed to hurry up and get this work done so he could get to Boba's.

Luke set the table while Cobb and Boba finished the final touches with the food. It was a very homestyle meal something they hoped showed Din that they could provide meals for him on the regular. It was definitely a nontraditional custom for alphas to make meals but frankly, they don't live in the 19th century anymore.

"What if he doesn't take the hint..." Luke asked softly almost discouraged. Boba and Cobb perked up, Boba moving to wipe his hands clean. "Then we keep trying, we've shown him that we can provide for him and take care of his needs. I don't think it will be much longer Luke," Boba passed him a pitcher of water and patted his shoulder. Luke took a deep breath of Boba's eucalyptus rum scent and relaxed. He was right, Din was pretty smart, he'd get it eventually.

Cobb came to sit down at the table, it was a waiting game now, it was about five til seven. Fennec offered to watch the door for them while they finished up in the kitchen. "This is a lot of food by the way," Cobb smirked softly looking over at Boba.

"He can take most of it home. He could use more meat on his bones anyway," Boba hummed softly taking a sip from his water. Luke blushed softly across from him probably thinking of something that should not be said at the dinner table. "I don't think he's going to want pups anytime soon Luke," Cobb said smugly.

"Shut up! Shut up! I wasn't thinking about that!" Luke flushed darker covering his face, "We just met him! He already has a son."

"Alright Alright I was just kiddin' babe," Cobb laughed softly. Boba stood as the dining room doors opened, he welcomed Din and Grogu in. Cobb and Luke both stood as well, they noticed how tired he looked. Cobb didn't know he had to work such long hours today, he wanted to comfort him, give him everything he wanted.

"-Sorry I couldn't freshen up," Din spoke quietly after Grogu left his arm and into Luke's.

"Please don't apologize-"

"You don't need to apologize for anything-"

"We're sorry we didn't ask you first-"

Din's eyes widened as he looked between all of them. Cobb caught Fennec smirking and shaking her head in the background. She stayed to make sure Din felt more comfortable, so he didn't feel like he was just surrounded by alphas.

Boba cleared his throat, "Why don't we start our meal, I'm sure you're famished. After if you wanted you could borrow some of my clothes if you'd like to be more comfortable." Smooth. Send Din home with his scent, hell, he was going to leave smelling like them anyway. It made his inner alpha purr at the thought.

Taking their seats at the table Din and Grogu immediately dug in. Luke shared a look with him, he was a bit worried that Din still may be struggling to make a couple ends meet. It would be something to soon be resolved after this dinner. Luke lived the closest to Din out of all of them, he could easily bring them lunches every other day.

After Din got close to finishing his plate Luke asked him about himself. Din perked up adorably, swallowing the rest of his food before answering him. He started explaining that he lost his parents from a young age and grew up in a religious group home. It somewhat explained why he always wore clothes that covered his neck, omega cult homes were more common than you'd think. They taught young omegas to hide themselves and resist their natural instincts all in the name of preservation and purity. Most of the time it made omegas drive themselves insane, their mind and bodies turning against each other.

Boba slowly lost his appetite as he continued. In fact, he felt his blood begin to boil; such a beautiful creature shouldn't have suffered as he did. Din and Grogu deserved the world and the fact they didn't have anyone to provide them that to him until now, he growled softly at the thought. Oblivious to what was happening around him.

Fennec straightened up from where she leaned against the wall. Her beta scent invaded his mind calmed him, bringing him back to the people in front of him. Cobb and Luke were staring daggers into him and he soon saw why. Din looked pale as a ghost at the other end of the table. Shit, shit what was he thinking! The last thing Din wanted to be around was an angry alpha, especially with Grogu so close.

"My apologies! I was just overwhelmed... you truly didn't deserve to grow up like that," Boba apologized quickly happy that Din relaxed a bit. He said it was okay and a painful silence stretched between them.

Luke breathed in to say something but Din asked if he could be excused to the restroom before anything came out. Boba asked for Fennec to show him the way, they were barely out the door before both Cobb and Luke snapped at him.

"What the hell was that?!"

"What happened to keeping him comfortable!"

Boba sighed softly scrubbing his hand over his face, "He just-... It made me angry how cruel the world was on such a beautiful omega." The air felt thick as they thought back to what Din said. Cobb and Luke felt the same way deep down so they couldn't exactly stay angry with him.

"You have a big heart Boba but Jesus you saw how pale he got," Cobb slouched back into his seat, he chewed at his lip gently, "How are we going to pull this back?"

"Hey, hey it was one mistake. We can't let that ruin everything, he knows we would never hurt him," Luke tried to remain positive, "Let's take this break to collect ourselves and be ready for when he gets back."

"If he comes back," Cobb stood up and started stacking the dirty dishes. Boba remained quiet as he helped clear the table as well, he hoped Din didn't take it the wrong way. He wasn't and could never be mad at him, but the look on his face was now forever etched into his mind. Din was scared of him, of when he might do, and it felt like a stab right to the heart. He would never raise a hand to an omega especially out of anger.

It had been a little while and Din was still in the bathroom. They went ahead and started washing the dishes and Cobb packed up the leftovers for Din. "Hey, Boba... don't be too hard on yourself," Luke smiled softly, "I'm sure you'll get a chance to show him that he has nothing to fear." Boba sighed softly as Luke's pine and lemon scent filled his nose. He was right, Luke was somehow always right.

The dining room doors swung open and they all released a collective breath as Din enters the room again. He looked much better than before he left which they were thankful for. He apologized for talking too long mentioning that he could still help. Din really needed to stop apologizing to them, he had nothing to be sorry for.

"No no, you're our guest we got it," Luke smiled softly over his shoulder. Cobb placed a neatly packed bag of leftovers onto the counter, "And these are for you to take home." Din smiled softly thanking them for the food followed by a soft yawn. Boba despite his earlier outburst said that Din could stay if he wants and that borrowing his clothes was still on the table.

Din thought for a moment Cobb watched his jaw flex before he came up with his answer.

"Ahsoka's house isn't far I'll stop there if I really need to but, I wouldn't mind a change of clothes."

They all when a little tense at his statement. Ahsoka's house. Why would he want to go there when his house was completely open to him? It's not like they were together of anything but why did he feel more comfortable going to another alpha's house. Boba dried his hands quickly and left to get him a change of clothes.

Luke hummed softly as a wild Grogu tugged at his pants leg. It definitely lighten his mood as he picked the little one up. He cooed at the toddler softly allowing him to wrap his tiny hand around his finger. Cobb gave him a tight smile as he asked for Din to stay longer to actually talk about what they had planned to. Din agreed, he was sure his decision was swayed by the way Grogu giggled in his arms. Maybe as the night went on he'd change his mind about staying.

Boba returned with a clean set of clothes. It may have not been a full win but seeing Din wrapped casually in his pajamas would be more than enough for the night.

The alphas stood outside for a moment after Din had driven out of their sight. Cobb sighed softly, the cool air feeling amazing against his skin. His head tilted up towards the stars watching an uncountable number of them shine. The rest of the evening was amazing. They were able to keep up entertaining conversations and Din was the most laid back they'd ever see. His laugh was everything, it still played in the back of his mind. His hair looked so soft and fluffy, his fingers began to tingle wanting to run them through it. Don't even get him started on his eyes-

"Hey, cowboy! You comin' in or what?" Luke shouted from the door. Cobb hummed realizing the other two were no longer at his sides, he rushed over before the door closed.

"I think I'm in love," Cobb shoved off his boots. He and Luke were spending the night either way. He had the day off tomorrow and no way he was going home now. "Ya think?" Boba smirked softly as he pressed a kiss into the top of his head.

Luke spread out on the couch, "Din left his clothes," he blushed softly picking them up off the coffee table. "We can wash them for him," he hummed softly picking the lint off of the shirt. Sadly Din's scent didn't stick to things because he kept it so tight but, he may be less inclined to give it back if it did.

Cobb smirked softly taking them from Luke, "They're already going to smell like us. We can't add much more scent to them, hun."

"I know... but we can try," the smallest alpha purred with a smug look on his face.

Chapter 3: The Morning After

Notes:

Hoo boy, this one is a bit of a heavier chapter, but it will be made up for I promise. The next one will be much longer and Din will get to have some fun.

Chapter Text

"Cobb... are you sure? Here?" Din swallowed thickly as the alpha backed him into his office. A smirk tugged on the other's face his scent flaring wildly. "Why not here? We want everyone to know you belong to us..." Cobb purred deeply his hand gently caressing the omega's neck.

Din gasped softly as he bumped into a solid figure, he barely moved from the impact, "Boba?" His purrs vibrated Din's body as he dragged his hands up his waist. Din flinched again as Luke grabbed his hand placing kisses into his palm trailing them up his wrist. Din panted softly as he tilted his head exposing his neck to the sheriff.

Cobb's hot breath on his neck made his hair stand, he whined as he placed a kiss behind his ear peppering down until his fingers hooked around the collar of his turtleneck exposing his-

Din gasped shooting up from the mattress, his hands coming to his neck to make sure his shirt was still there. Sighing after feeling everything was as it should be. The chill in the room made him shiver as it brushed against his clammy skin.

What the hell was that? Never in his life had he had a dream so... vivid. Even when his parents passed his dreams were vague, it was how the mind protected itself. He scrubbed his face with his hands wiping away the sweat and hairs that stuck to his face. Staring into the wall he didn't even notice Grogu wake up beside him. The kid sniffed rubbing his eyes, "Daddy?"

Din hummed glancing down at him, his hand still trembling as he reached to ruffle Grogu's hair. "I'm sorry did I wake you up?" Din spoke quietly as the toddler climbed into his lap resting his head against his chest. He could definitely hear his heart racing.

He didn't know why he was so startled. Probably because he didn't actually want the dream to end. He idly rubbed circles into Grogu's back. He didn't want the dream to end and it was about three alphas he just met. Three alphas that had no interest in him and were just friendly because he just met them. What is going on with him?

"Hey, are you okay? I can smell you from across the house..." Ahsoka appeared in the doorway. Din flinched realizing she was there. Shit, he didn't notice he was scenting.

"I-...I don't know..." Din looked up at her, her face shifting into a deep worry. The mattress dipped as she sat next to him, her blueberry scent helping him calm down. "What's the matter? You look like you had a nightmare..." Ahsoka spoke softly as she ran her fingers through his hair.

"I didn't... I don't think I did. Everything else says otherwise," Din rubbed his eyes trying to think clearly. "Did something happen at the dinner? You came over yesterday and went straight to sleep."

"The dinner went fine... except for the part when Boba growled at me. I might have said something wrong," He sighed softly kissing the top of Grogu's head, "I feel like I'm going crazy."

"Din, you're just overwhelmed and that's okay. You're in a completely new environment," She smiled softly patting his shoulder, "and I'm sure whatever happened last night was a misunderstanding."

Din nodded softly as they sat there for a moment. He hoped it was a misunderstanding, he'd hate to have the people of the town suddenly turn their back on him. "I've got some coffee in the kitchen. Do you want to get some," Ahsoka stood up. Yes. That is exactly what he wanted right now, no confusion about that.

Lifting Grogu against his shoulder he followed her into the kitchen. After setting Grogu on the couch he came back to a cup of deep rich black coffee. Din sighed deeply after taking the first sip leaning against the counter.

"Better?" Ahsoka smirked softly.

"Better."

Din groaned softly covering his face, "Shit."

Ahsoka hummed quizzically still chewing on her bite of pancake. "I left my uniform at Boba's house and I have to go to work tomorrow," he muttered. He hoped it would be a little while longer before he had to see any of them again. Especially after this morning.

"You're making me very curious about what this dream was," Ahsoka pointed her fork at him, "Now you're trying to avoid them?" Din blushed softly taking a sip from his third cup of coffee, "It isn't that, it's just that they offered for me to stay the night but I came here instead. It's awkward having to come back the next morning to pick up stuff."

Ahsoka's eyebrows were raised high as she listened to him try to explain, "They offered for you to spend the night?"

Din leaned over fixing the miniature fork in Grogu's hand, the little rascal was getting close to poking his eye out, "Yeah, but I wasn't ready for that yet. Who knew alphas could make you feel so light-headed?"

A deep sigh fell from her mouth, she rubbed her eyes pretty hard. Was he missing something? "Din, bless your heart," she chuckled softly, "If you're not interested in them then tell them."

"Huh?"

"They're trying to court you very hard."

"Not you too," Din rolled his eyes, "They aren't trying to court me, did you forget about the part where Boba growled at me last night."

"Din. The car, the food, the clothes-" Ahsoka gestures to him literally wearing Boba's clothes. Shit, he forgot about them, no wonder he kept getting hints of eucalyptus. "He just wanted me to be comfortable, I was still wearing my work clothes," Din fought back weakly. It was getting harder to come up with arguments against all this courting mess.

Ahsoka sealed her lips before she could flip that statement upside down. She knew Din didn't grow up in normal circumstances, she really needed to give him a 101 on alphas. "Listen, Din, I know it may be hard to believe but alphas don't always think with their knot. They court omegas they are interested in having a long-term relationship with. Just give it some thought, you can always ask me questions."

Long-term relationship. With him? Why? It wasn't like he was anything special, hell, since moving here he's realized there was a lot he was missing. He truly didn't know anything about alphas other than things to be wary of. But the alphas that lived here were the kindest he'd ever met and he didn't want to mess that up with any of them. That being said he wasn't comfortable asking questions directly to them, he didn't want to be rude.

"And it's not rude to ask questions," She murmured sipping her coffee. Din smiled poking at the syrup on his plate, "Thank you for this, really. I'm sorry for all the hassle."

"Din," She grabbed his hand, "You don't have to do everything alone. You're not a burden when you ask for help. I mean it when I say you're always welcome." Din held her gaze a bit stunned by her sincerity. He was used to doing things alone, never trusting anyone's words at face value. Having all this willing help around him without wanting anything in return it was... hard to believe.

"I'm just not used to it," He had another apology on his tongue but he held it. Ahsoka smiled softly gripping his hand before letting it go, "I guess you need to get going huh?"

Din hummed looking at the clock on the wall, "Oh damn, yeah we do." He stood grabbing his plate before Ahsoka stopped him. "I got it," She nodded over to Grogu, "You've got a little mess over there." He looked over at Grogu who sat covered in syrup. He managed to get it everywhere but his mouth, Din sighed deeply, Ahsoka laughing as she carried dishes into the kitchen.

It took a while to scrub the syrup out of Grogu's hair and he didn't have the time to get it out of his clothes so, Din just decided to leave him in the car with the air conditioning on. He shot Boba a text saying he was coming to pick up his clothes so he wasn't standing at the door for very long.

Boba opened the door an expression flashing across his face, something Din barely caught, "Hey, they still have a couple minutes in the dryer," he moved aside welcoming him in. "Oh you didn't have to wash them but, thank you," Din blushed softly as he walked past him.

"Don't worry about it," he said tightly before walking away assumingly to get his uniform. "What is that? Boba who-" Cobb sat up on the sofa, much to Luke's dismay who was laying against his chest, his complaint dying on his tongue when he saw Din.

"Hi? Sorry, if I disturbed you," Din greeted them hesitantly. He wasn't exactly expecting that reaction. There was a tense silence that hung heavy in the air. Maybe he should have just asked for a new uniform.

Luke smiled tightly, "Did you sleep well last night?"

"Yeah you smell like you slept in the same bed as her," Cobb muttered quietly, Luke elbowing him in the rubs.

"I'm sorry?" Din looked between them, confused by the response he was getting. It was a very stark difference from how they acted last night. Their scents flared wildly almost aggressively at him. "I don't know what this is about," He crossed his arms over his chest, "But if you want me to leave then I'll go."

Cobb hummed looking away. Luke took a deep breath getting up from the couch, Din watched him closely tracking his every movement. "Din, you smell like an uninvited alpha in another alpha's home. It's a bit jarring."

Oh...

Oh.

Alphas were territorial. Shit, he totally forgot and walked in here like it was nothing. Fuck! what was he thinking? His ears burned red, a bright flush spreading across his face. They probably thought he slept with her or something.

"Shit I-I'm sorry I didn't even realize!" Din pulled the oversized shirt over his head tossing it outside. He cringed softly remembering that was still Boba's shirt, "We didn't do anything I promise! I just had a rough morning." He rubbed at his arm, shit, her scent was probably still on his skin.

Luke and Cobb stared at him speechless. The turtleneck he was wearing was one of his smaller ones, sleeveless and clung tightly to his skin leaving very little to be imagined. Fuck! Could this get any worse?

"Here you go, D-" Boba's eyes widened and he stopped in his tracks. Din snatched the clothes out of his hands rushing out the door, "Thank you! I'll wash this!" He grabbed the shirt laying on the ground before practically running to the truck.

Grogu jumped, Din accidentally spooking him by how fast he climbed into the car and sped off.

He slammed his forehead against the steering wheel, "Fuck!" Grogu's eyes welled with tears a soft hiccup alerting Din's ears.

"No, no! Grogu it's okay don't cry. I was being loud I know I'm sorry," He reached back pinching the toddler's cheek gently. His head flicking back and forth between the toddler and the road. Grogu sniffled wiping the tears from his eyes, thankfully accepting his apology.

Din sighed deeply resting back into his seat. He just wanted to go home.

Chapter 4: The Night Out

Notes:

Oh man truths come out in a drunken adventure. Bless Din's heart he's trying so hard

Chapter Text

Din fumbled one-handed with his keys trying the shove them into the lock. Grogu clung to him, his tiny nails digging into his skin still sticky from this morning. "Damn it," Din cursed quietly getting frustrated... more frustrated with everything going on.

After what felt like an eternity he got the door open tossing his keys and clothes onto the counter. He cringed hearing a goopy sound as Grogu moved in his arms. "Yeah you need a bath bud," Din went straight to the bathroom despite Grogu's whines.

Filling the tub just enough he set the toddler in dumping some of his tub toys to keep him occupied. Din sighed leaning against the wall sliding down onto the floor. He fucked up, fucked up bad. Running his fingers through his hair he lifted his hips pulling his phone out of his back pocket.

"Paz."

"Paz... I messed up," Din rested his head back against the wall. He knew if Paz saw him right now he would kick his ass for looking so pitiful and tell him to never look weak no matter how bad he felt. He was glad it was just over the phone.

"Din this is the second time you've called me this week. What is going on over there?" Paz sounded angry but Din could tell he was just worried.

"I walked into an alpha's house with another's scent on me. They were really upset and I feel so bad," Din glanced over at Grogu splashing in the tub. Paz sighed deeply over the phone, "Din are these the same alphas you called me about yesterday?"

Din chewed his lip at Paz's strained voice, "Yes..."

"Well, it sounds like they were jealous you came back smelling like someone else. I've never heard of an alpha being that territorial, but I've also never heard you so worried about what another alpha thought... Are you sure, you just want to be friends?"

"Yes... I don't know..." Din brought his knees closer to his chest, "I have no idea what I'm doing."

"You can always come back home, Din. We can work something out, or I can come out there set some things straight," Paz hummed. Din huffed softly, the last thing he wanted was Paz out here making everything worse, "No, I really am happy here despite all... this."

"In that case, it sounds like you need a drink. When was the last time you spent a night without Grogu?"

"I don't even remember," Din smiled softly bouncing a toy boat in front of Grogu. "Well, you need to do that. Get your mind off alphas, they aren't supposed to be there anyway," Paz said matter-of-factly

He was right. This is exactly what Armorer said would happen if you allowed alphas to invade your space. She said they'd start to control you and use you as a breeder dog until they didn't want you anymore. Din clenched his fist softly, Boba, Cobb, or Luke would never do that. He didn't want to believe they'd do that. They-... fuck, he did need a drink.

"You're right, thank you, Paz."

"Yeah and if you call my phone again this week, I'm coming out there on the next flight." Din could hear Paz's grin as he hung up. He leaned over the tub cleaning Grogu with a soapy rag. A night out... he could have that arranged.

It took a couple days to get it right, but tonight Grogu was spending the night with Omera and he was going out. He hadn't heard from Cobb, Luke, or Boba but he wasn't focusing on them tonight.

Din took a deep breath staring at the entrance of the bar, music could be heard from the outside. It had been a long time since he's done anything like this. Hopping out of his truck Din adjusted his leather jacket, dusting off his nice pair of jeans. He felt good, confident something he desperately needed right now.

Walking into the bar it wasn't long before he found his group of friends. Mainly because as soon as he step foot in Migs let out a piercing wolf whistle. "Look who cleans up good huh! Spicy omega," He grinned moving over in the booth.

Din waved his hand in front of his face, "You couldn't even change first?" "Listen babes, what you're smelling is a great knot, somethin' that you need. Looking like that it won't be too hard," Migs sighed deeply spreading his arms across the booth.

"That is the last thing we're doing tonight, Migs. The only alphas Din will be thinking about are the ones at this table," Cara smirked passing Din a beer. Din smiled softly taking a big gulp from the bottle.

"Lame, you're still gonna get shitfaced right? Ahsoka's designated driver," Migs scooted closer to Din.

"Ah... I don't know Grogu might-"

"Din, Grogu's going to be fine. This is for you, enjoy it," Ahsoka had quite the grin across her face as she sipped from a beer. What the hell is that about-

"Oh look at you Din?! How are you not mated yet, huh!" Din's eyes widened as he watched Peli come from the bar, her arms wrapped around at least four bottles and some glasses.

"Alright, I got, rum, vodka, whiskey, tequila..." She placed each of the bottles onto the table with a big smile on her face. "Woah, Woah, Woah, this is a lot! How did to pay for all this," Din picked up the bottle of whiskey. It was some top-shelf stuff.

"Aww don't worry about it! I'm good with the owner," She waved her hand dismissively, "We dated in high school. Never got over me," She whispered making a cringed face. Din laughed softly everyone took a bottle of what they wanted pouring it into a glass.

"What are we toasting this first drink to?" Migs swished his generous shot of vodka around his glass. Din hummed softly staring into the brown liquid in his glass, he definitely wasn't going as hard as Migs was, whiskey would do him just fine for now.

"Ah fuck it, To Din. May this night lift the stress off his shoulders," Cara lifted her shot of tequila winking at Din.

"Guys you don't have to-"

"To Din!" Everyone smiled brightly clinking their glasses together. Din's ears burned slightly at the toast but it made him feel supported. Migs hollered a loud 'woo' after gulping everything in his glass.

One turned into two then three then four until he couldn't remember how much he had. He just knew the bottle was empty and he was way beyond tipsy. Hell, drunk was probably an understatement too.

"Din has anyone ever told you... you... you smell really good," Migs chuckled softly draped over his shoulder. Din hummed happily not really knowing how to answer that. Peli was long gone dancing her drunken ass through the crowd.

Ahsoka's cheeks hurt from smiling so hard, "God I wish I could record this." Cara chuckled softly, she was able to hold her liquor better than anyone at the table, "He's too adorable; who knew he could get so pink?"

"You know what Din... t-there's a hotel up the road. That alpha... he's pretty handsome right?," Migs giggled shaking Din's shoulders. Din bobbed back and forth barely seeing the guy he was talking about.

"Yeah... but he's not as handsome as Cobb..." he sighed slouching in the booth, "or Luke...... or Boba." Din gasped looking for his phone, "I should call them- t-they're probably still mad..."

Cara perked up, "Hey, no that's not a good idea. You're drunk remember." Din gasped again dropping his phone onto the table, "I am! t-they'd probably worry about me..."

"Ahhh... screw them! We could g-get some right now," Migs cupped Din's cheeks turning his head towards him, "that sounds fun right?"

Din giggled softly, "yeah."

"No," Ahsoka knocked Din's leg from under the table, "You don't want to make them upset again do you Din. That's what you're going to do."

"Nooo..." Din whimpered pushing Migs away, "I don't want to make thems ever m-mad again. It doesn't feel good..." He sunk down putting his head on the table.

"Yeah, so I think it's time to go," Cara got up allowing Ahsoka out of the booth. "You go ahead... I'll find another way home heh," Migs purred climbing around a sulking Din to his next target.

"Come on Din, we're taking you home," Ahsoka rubbed his back smiling. Din hummed softly, he lifted his head up swaying side to side, "Okay..." stumbling up, Cara grabbed his arm to make sure he didn't fall over. She guided him to the car packing him into the back seat to make sure he didn't do anything crazy.

Din didn't even realize they were driving until Ahsoka was a couple turns from his house. "Din, do you want me to stay with you, or are you going to be okay?" Ahsoka glanced back at him through the rearview mirror.

"I'll be okay... thank you guys... soo much," He pressed his head against the window, the cool glass feeling great against his skin. "Din you have to get off the window, we're here," She chuckled softly.

"What..." Din sat up again looking out to see that was his house. When did they get here? He jumped as Cara opened the door holding her hand out to help him.

"You're so nice..." He took her hand climbing out the car, "'m sorry we fought that one time... I didn't mean it..." Din handed her his keys. Cara chuckled softly opening the door for him, "Don't worry about it, man. Make sure you drink some water k?"

"Kk," Din waved as he slowly pushed the door closed. Stumbling to the couch he fell onto his side pulling his phone out of his pocket. Oh shit. He shot up looking at the missed call from Boba.

He probably shouldn't call him back... but what if Boba thinks he's ignoring him?

He's drunk he definitely shouldn't call him back... but he wanted to hear his voice.

No, he can't call him...

"..."

Din tapped his toes as the phone rang, the sound sobering him up a bit.

"Fett."

Din purred softly, it sounded like he just woke up. Shit, he probably did, he had no idea what time it was. "Hey, it's Din... sorry I missed your call. I-if you want to... talk tomorrow that's fine..."

Boba was silent for a moment, Din wasn't sure if he accidentally fell asleep. "No, no, it's fine," he grunted and shuffling came from the phone, "I actually wanted to apologize for what happened last time you were here. We didn't mean to make you feel embarrassed, you didn't know."

"Noo, I was being a total asshole..." Din hiccuped hugging a pillow close to his chest, "'m sorry... I-I want to make it up to you guys..."

Another silence fell over the line Din stared at his feet. He hoped his speech wasn't too slurred.

"Din, are you drunk?"

Din gripped his phone wanting to curl into a ball and fade away from the world, "Yes... god 'm sorry I shouldn't have called you. Grogu isn't here for the night and... a-and I don't usually get like this. I just...

"Din calm down I'm not judging you. Are you home? Do you need someone to check on you?" Boba reassured him though you could hear the worry in his voice. Fuck why did he call him?

"No, no please don't do that... I-I don't want you to see me like this," His voice was small as he cursed himself mentally. He ran his fingers through his hair, he really wanted to make up for all of this.

"I wanted to invite you guys over here... I can cook... well I can make breakfast. We can have brunch... w-when you're available," Din blushed softly. He was really inviting them over here... what the hell would Paz say.

"You don't have-"

"Please... let me do this," Din whined. Boba made a sound, like a mix between a groan and a hum. It was a second before he realized...

He gasped softly, he whined at him?! Din blushed even darker covering his face, "Just let me make up f-for all... this. Then i-if you never want to talk to me again that's... that's fine." It wasn't but Din could live with it.

"Din it's okay we're not mad at you. You're a grown man and can make your own decisions, but if it makes you feel at ease we'll happily come over," Boba purred deeply, making Din shiver.

"Alright... you can text me what date is good for you," Din bit his lip, "I guess I'll get off your line... good night."

"Good night Din, make sure you get some sleep."

Din sighed dropping the phone from his hand, not caring where it might fall. He wrapped both arms around the throw pillow laying back onto his side. Why couldn't he get anything right recently? He yawned softly, it was like every decision he made was the wrong one and it just made everything worse. He'd just never felt like this before... it was confusing and beyond frustrating. He liked them... he liked them a lot and he was fucking it up

Din huffed closing his eyes. He didn't want to admit it but there was no helping it now. Whatever he was tired and he'll figure it out in the morning.

Din jolted awake, he squinted his eyes as the sun shined through the blinds. Loud knocking came from his door, what the fuck man?

He groaned getting up, he winced feeling the pain in his back. Take note, never sleep on the couch again. He stumbled rubbing his eyes, he caught himself on the door frame before opening the door, "Who-!" Din gasped gripping the doorframe.

"Hey, Boba said you weren't doing so hot last night. I just wanted to come check on you," Cobb handed him a bag of food from the diner down the road. Boba? Fuck, he did call him last night, why did he do that...

Din blushed softly, "Thank you, Cobb. I'm sorry I probably look like shit," he sighed softly rubbing his eyes. He didn't want to admit that the smell of food right now made him want to puke and that he had a raging splitting headache, "I'm doing alright."

"That's good. I also wanted to say that we're available next Tuesday if you are," Cobb smiled softly leaning one-handed against the rail of his porch. Din patted his pockets for his phone, "I um... don't have my phone on me but I should be able to work it out."

"Cool... I'll umm... I'm sorry by the way, for the other day. I shouldn't have treated you like that, I was being an asshole," Cobb rubbed at his neck nervously, "I saw you're truck parked still at the bar, I could tow it back here if you wanted."

"Yes, please that would mean a lot," Din smiled weakly, "and it's okay really. I'd feel the same way if you came here smelling like another omega."

Cobb's eyes widened slightly, "You would?"

Din blushed realizing what he just said, "I-... y-yeah it's... it's rude." God, what the fuck is wrong with him?

Cobb hummed softly, standing up straight, "Well I guess I'll be back, make sure you drink some water. There's ibuprofen in the bag." "Oh! Thank you," Din opened the bag pulling out the brand new bottle.

Bless this alpha...

Chapter 5: The Night Out (Reversed)

Notes:

Alright, we have another small reversed chapter before the next big one. I had to take a short break for personal and creative reasons but we should be back on track now. We are reaching our halfway point and it should be smooth sailing from here.

Chapter Text

"Boba."

Boba hummed in response to his name. It was late and he was fading in and out of consciousness, his eyes still closed as he lay against the soft pillows of his bed.

"Boba, your phone."

He sighed softly Luke patting at his chest, "Just let it ring..."

Luke sat up gently placing his bookmark between the pages, "What if it's Din?"

Boba murmured again. He was right, no normal person would call at this time of night. It was either an emergency or Din and he hoped it was Din.

Pushing himself up slightly he reached over to the nightstand picking up the phone. He rubbed at his eyes as he answered.

"Fett."

A quiet purr came from the other end fading any tiredness he felt at the moment.

"Hey, it's Din... sorry I missed your call. I-if you want to... talk tomorrow that's fine..."

Boba did try to call him a few hours earlier, he wanted to apologize for their behavior days prior. Din is entitled to his own decisions and shouldn't have to fear what they thought. Though the image of him in that skin-tight undershirt hasn't left his mind yet. But... now he sounded off and he probably waited too long to respond.

"No, no, it's fine," Boba grunted laying back against the pillows, this time sitting more upright, "I actually wanted to apologize for what happened last time you were here. We didn't mean to make you feel embarrassed, you didn't know."

Luke sat on the edge of the bed listening. He was... jealous... extremely jealous when Din came in smelling so strongly of Ahsoka. He shouldn't have been they weren't mated but he couldn't stand the thought of Din being with another.

The bathroom door open followed by wafts of steam as Cobb stepped out. He sighed softly drying his hair, pajama pants hanging loosely around his hips. Luke purred softly tracing him up and down.

"Din, are you drunk?"

It was like hearing glass shatter. Luke whipped around to catch the concerned look on Boba's face; the towel nearly dropped from Cobb's hands not knowing what he came back to. Boba glanced over at them feeling their worry radiate.

"Din calm down I'm not judging you. Are you home? Do you need someone to check on you?" He gripped the phone softly.

Cobb was already putting on a shirt. Like hell, he wasn't going to check on him. He was clearly in distress and had no one to comfort him.

Boba sat up nudging at Luke's shoulder then pointing at Cobb. Luke got up quickly stopping the alpha from getting any more dressed. "Cobb, we just can't show up at his door, calm down," He whispered gripping onto his arm.

"'Can't show up' my ass! He needs someone to be there with him," Cobb whispered passionately pulling his arm away. "Cobb, he didn't ask for us to come. You're going to make him feel worse," Luke grabbed his arms again his grip more firm this time.

"You better fuckin' let go of me," Cobb growled jerking in his grip.

Boba's scent flared at them like a smack in the face. It was a warning that he could do something much worse to both of them if they started fighting while he was still on the phone. Cobb yanked away from Luke pushing his still-damp hair from his face.

"Din it's okay we're not mad at you. You're a grown man and can make your own decisions, but if it makes you feel at ease we'll happily come over," Boba's eyes flicked over to Cobb as he finished his sentence. He then purred deeply into the phone wishing the other man a good night before hanging up.

"Come over?" Cobb murmured as he sat on the edge of the bed.

"He invited us to lunch at his home. He wanted to make up for all the "trouble" he thinks he caused," Boba hummed still flipping the phone around in his hand. "Does he sound like he's doing to be okay?" Luke climbed into the bed on Boba's right side.

"He's definitely not going to be good in the morning, but he's safe at home," Boba placed his phone back on the nightstand, he wasn't sure how he was going to sleep tonight. Especially with the way Din whined at him over the phone.

He decided not to disclose that information to the others but it still played in the back of his mind. He felt a coil of lust run through him each time he thought of it. It was a sweet and understandably unused sound that came from Din's throat. He wanted to hear it more... he wanted to hear it all the time

"Boba?"

He cleared his throat, they could probably smell his less than savory thoughts in his scent. Boba leaned over pressing a gentle kiss into Luke's lips. Luke hummed happily taking what he was offering.

"We need to figure out a day we can meet at Din's." Boba purred softly as he pulled away. He shifted to his left side, his hand gently grabbing Cobb's jaw. The sheriff was still tense. Boba placed a soft kiss on his lips to help him relax. Cobb sighed softly into his lips his shoulders drooping as Boba caressed his neck.

"I'm free next Tuesday," Luke suggested as he slid under the covers. Boba laid back onto the bed as he and Cobb parted; Luke scooting to lay his hand on his chest. "Me too," Cobb found his spot at Boba's other side.

"Tuesday it is then."

"Here you go, Sugar."

Cobb smiled softly taking the neatly packaged food from the waiter, "Thank you," he left a tip as he walked out of the small diner. He probably shouldn't be doing this in his cruiser but, he couldn't wait until his break to check on him. The alpha gripped onto the steering wheel as he drove down the road.

Din worried him last night. Cobb wasn't one who was against drinking that was for sure. But he hasn't gotten drunk like that since his twenties, it does more damage than good nowadays. So, Din probably wasn't feeling too hot this morning.

The car bounced as he pulled into the driveway. Din's truck was still at the bar thankfully, which meant he wasn't alone last night. That brought more comfort than jealousy, he rather Din be safe than try to drive home by himself. He slid a bottle of ibuprofen into the bag before climbing out of his cruiser.

After knocking on the door he heard shuffling from inside. Shit, he was probably asleep, too late now.

The door opened and an irritated Din came into view, well he was irritated until he realized who it was. God, he looked like a beautiful mess. His hair fluffy and wild, his clothes wrinkled, his skin understandably a bit pale. Cobb just wanted to kiss him and comb his fingers through his hair while he got him everything he needed.

"Hey, Boba said you weren't doing so hot last night. I just wanted to come check on you," he handed him the bag of food.

Din took the bag gently, seemingly not remembering calling Boba last night. Wow, he was really blacked-out drunk.

"Thank you, Cobb. I'm sorry I probably look like shit." Cobb noticed a soft pink blooming across Din's face. He wanted to tell him that he'd never look bad in his eyes, tell him that right now he wanted to wrap his arms around him and whisper sweet nothings into his ear as he fell back asleep.

But he didn't. Instead, he talked about Tuesday and how he needed to apologize for how he acted himself. "I'll umm... I'm sorry by the way, for the other day. I shouldn't have treated you like that, I was being an asshole... I saw you're truck parked at the bar, I could tow it back here if you wanted."

Din smiled weakly and fuck it wrecked his heart, "--it's okay really. I'd feel the same way if you came here smelling like another omega."

"You would?" Did that mean he would be jealous too? Or was he just trying to be understanding? Din's blush grew darker as he stumbled over his words. Cobb was getting a lot of mixed signals here and fuck was it confusing.

"I-... y-yeah it's... it's rude." Din managed to say though it looked like he regretted it.

Cobb hummed softly deciding to let it go. He just woke up after a long night, he probably wasn't thinking straight. "Well, I guess I'll be back, make sure you drink some water. There's ibuprofen in the bag," Cobb tossed his keys as he walked off of his porch. He purred softly as Din thanked him, he couldn't wait for Tuesday.

Chapter 6: The Brunch

Notes:

This chapter is a little different in that the POVs flip within the same chapter to save time having to read things over again.

Chapter Text

"What do you think, Grogu?"

Din looked down at the toddler sitting on top of the sink. Grogu stared up at him for a moment, ultimately going back to running his fingers against the bristles of a brush. Din huffed softly continuing to comb his hair into neater waves. After a while, he sighed giving up on it being perfect a few strands here and there curled a bit more than the others.

Setting Grogu on the ground Din turned out the lights looking for anything else to distract him. Cobb, Luke, and Boba were supposed to be here in fifteen minutes and he was getting nervous. It had been a long time since he's had an alpha in his home and he wasn't exactly sure what to do with himself. He hummed softly pulling blankets and pillows from his closet. For now, his bed felt a little barren. He arranged his pillows and blankets where it felt right and it was strangely... calming? He'd never felt the urge to do this before but it felt really good

He didn't know how long he was there but it was long enough for a knock to come through his front door. "Shit," Din muttered softly feeling his heart speed up again. He scooped up Grogu from his toys and took a deep breath before opening the door.

"Hey, come in," Din smiled softly moving out of the way, "Oh, wow... you didn't have to get those." Luke smiled softly holding a vase of deep red roses, "Where would you like them?"

Din blushed slightly looking around, "Uhh... here I'll put them in the kitchen," he set Grogu down and took the bouquet of flowers, "I have to make a couple more things. I wanted to make sure they were hot so-"

"Oh, we are a bit early we didn't mean to catch you by surprise," Cobb glanced down at his watch, "Did you need any help?" He smiled softly looking back up at him.

Din gripped the vase without thinking; he was glad it didn't shatter in his palms. "...Sure, I wouldn't mind the extra hands... you guys can make yourself comfortable," he chewed at his lip softly before turning around heading into the kitchen. Before Cobb followed him Boba grabbed his shoulder, gripping it as a warning.

"No funny business. This is his space," Boba whispered harshly into his ear. Cobb was a bit hurt that he'd even think he'd do something like that, "I got this, relax, Bubz."

"He smells different... it's sweeter than last time. You don't think he's... you know," Luke picked up the toddler hugging his leg. Boba hummed inspecting the room, "I can't tell for certain but do not take advantage of it." Cobb tugged away from Boba's iron grip; he was the definition of respectful.

"Listen, I don't know where you're getting these thoughts from but Din needs me in the kitchen. If you're jealous just be faster next time," Cobb grinned as a deep growl rose from Boba's chest.

Din tensed slightly as Cobb met him in the kitchen. "Alright, where do you want me?" Cobb smirked as he leaned against the counter. The kitchen was small which means they were working pretty close to each other.

"Um, I just need to cook the eggs and bacon, it shouldn't take too long. If you want to start cracking the eggs that's fine," Din pulled two pans from the cabinets setting them onto the stove. Cobb opened his fridge grabbing the carton of eggs. It wasn't long before they set up a rhythm. They weaved around each other and knew exactly what the other was thinking.

Din took a deep breath of Cobb's scent as he stood beside him over the stove. It was strange, he thought it would be hard to get used to it in his home but it actually felt... natural. Maybe from all the times he's showed up at his door but this was different. He was all the way in his home.

Din wasn't paying attention when he was reaching out at the same time as Cobb, the alpha's hand accidentally bumping his knuckles into a hot pan. He hissed sharply yanking his hand back. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" Cobb grabbed his hand gently wrapping his mouth around the burn.

Din froze turning beet red as he used his mouth to dissipate the heat from his skin. His tongue swiped against the irritated skin gently. "I-it's okay! I'm fine really!" Din couldn't find it in himself to pull away no matter how flustered he was.

Luke tilted his head back smelling the air; Grogu played with his toys on his lap. "Do you smell that?" Luke asked softly looking over at Boba who sat on the couch.

"It smells like Din," Boba clicked his tongue. It was Din but his scent was thicker, aroused. "I swear I'm going to kill him," Boba got up wasting no time to get to the kitchen. What the hell does Cobb think he's doing?

"Is everything alright in here?"

Din's eyes widened yanking his hand away. Cobb hummed stiffly, slowly turning around. Boba looked between them like a couple of teens getting caught making out. Din couldn't make eye contact with him, his face burning red, "I-... we-"

"Yeah we just bumped into each other and Din burned his hand on the pan." Cobb reached over to turn off the stove. The last couple pieces of bacon were definitely burnt.

"Oh no! Let me see!" Luke pushed past Boba gently lifting Din's hand, "Do you have any ice? Where are your bandaids?"

"No, no I'm okay really I don't need all that," Din flexed his fingers. It stung a bit but his face never showed it. Luke hummed, his concern was still evident in his face.

Din's eyes scattered around the small kitchen looking for something, anything else for them to focus on. "Well, the rest of the food is ready. The table is set if you just want to help me bring the food over." He opened the oven and pulled out a pan of biscuits and pancakes he left in there to stay warm.

"Of course!" They said in unison. Din soon found himself to be the one carrying nothing as they so kindly brought everything over. Instead, he swiped Grogu off of the floor placing him in his high chair.

"Please go ahead! You don't have to wait on me," Din smiled softly pushing his hair aside before starting to make Grogu a plate. He felt his heart race as they filled their plates. He'd never been nervous about someone trying his food but this was different. He was trying to impress them, and make up for all the shit he's done as of recently.

"...Oh my god... these are the best pancakes I've ever had," Luke spoke with his mouth full. Din released a breath he didn't know he was holding, "Thank you." He tried to hide his smile by sipping his orange juice.

"Where the hell did you learn to make these?" Cobb took a couple more from the stack. They were light and fluffy, with just the right amount of their own sweetness.

"It was one of the few recipes I was able to salvage from my mother," Din explained. When he had to move after his parents passed he could only bring what he could carry. So, he packed what clothes he had and whatever could fit into his backpack. "She would make them all the time," he smiled softly thinking about it.

"Well, I'm sure she would be very proud of these," Boba purred softly already almost finished. Din felt his ears burn, he'd never had anyone tell him that before.

"Juice!"

They all perked up at Grogu's demand. Cobb, Luke, and Boba were more surprised to actually hear his voice, they didn't know he could talk. Din was in the middle of handing the toddler his drink before realizing their shock, "Oh yeah, he talks sometimes. Usually, when he wants something, I'm hoping he'll open up more when he starts school."

"Well, look at you! You can talk, you just don't want to talk to me huh?" Luke smiled as Grogu shied away from him.

Din gripped his pants leg from under the table. Luke's cooing usually didn't affect him this much but suddenly he was getting flashes of Luke with more small pups. It made him shiver. Fuck, why can't he just be normal around them?

"Are you okay Din?" Boba pulled him out of his daydream, his eyes soft as he looked at him. "Yes," Din shook the thoughts from his head, "I just realized I don't know much about you all... I'm not even sure I know your full name, Luke."

"It's Luke Skywalker," Luke sipped from his orange juice. Din was taken aback, "That's quite a last name."

Luke laughed softly, "Yeah, my father was a very powerful man. I'm surprised you didn't know." Grogu made a point of tearing and eating his food with his hands rather loudly. Din sighed while they chuckled softly.

"If you really want to get to know us better why don't we set up dates individually," Cobb suggested, "You can ask all the questions you want."

Din blushed slightly. Dates? Like a date date or just a date. "I'm sure there are plenty of spots you haven't seen yet. We can show you around," Boba finished his plate. They were all being so casual about this... he didn't know what to think.

"I... I think I'd enjoy that very much," Din smiled softly, "As long as Grogu can come along."

"Of course! Who would want to leave out this little mess?" Luke cooed finding a clean spot on Grogu to tickle.

They finished lunch and moved their conversation to the living room. Din took a moment to clean up Grogu leaving them alone.

"How long do you think he's out?" Cobb asked quietly as he looked through the bookshelf; a particular book sticking out to him. "Probably a week and a half at most. We have to be careful and make sure he wants us before his heat," Boba spoke in a hushed tone. He could catch glimpses of Din's room down the hall. His bed was full of soft fabrics and pillows, he was nesting.

"What if he doesn't? I don't think my heart can take any more of this," Luke whimpered running his hands through his hair. "If he doesn't then it may be time to face the music," Boba sighed softly. A silence stretched between them before Cobb called for them.

"Guys. You need to look at this right now." He flipped through pages of what looked like a photo album. "Geez, Cobb we can't just go through everything in his house," Luke got up either way coming over to see what he was talking about.

Boba grinned wide as Cobb flipped through the particular pages of what looked like Din's twenties. His hair was dyed black, four or five hoops in one ear two in the other, black clothes of course. It seemed his phase came later than most. It was beyond adorable or hot they couldn't exactly decide.

"Oh my god, he looks so hot," Luke blushed extra interested in these pictures. Cobb chuckled softly, Luke had a thing for bad boys. And while these were great, they were nothing compared to how Din looked now. He is perfect and welcoming the way he is now.

"That must be Paz too," Boba pointed out the other man in the pictures. Cobb whistled softly, he was big. He wondered how meeting him would go.

"Hey, guys, Grogu's getting pretty tired and-"

The alphas scrambled to get the book back on the shelf as they heard Din's voice approaching. Din paused at the opening of the living room, his eyes scanning the three of them standing awkwardly by his bookshelf. Luke was a bit pink, that probably wasn't a good thing.

"Are you okay Luke? You don't have any allergies or anything right?" Din tilted his head sightly.

"No no! I'm totally fine! What were you saying about Grogu?" Luke smiled shifting his weight between his feet. Din hummed softly before continuing, "It's Grogu's nap time, I'm sorry for having to cut this short."

"We understand, it's no problem. I had a great time," Cobb followed Din to the door pulling his keys from his pocket. "Thank you, I look forward to seeing you next week, Din," Boba winked following Cobb out the door. Din felt a warmth bloom in his chest as they thanked him.

But Luke was lagging behind which concerned him. Luke was about to say something before he reached up to feel his forehead. He was a bit warm. "Are you sure you're okay Luke?"

The alpha flushed a deep shade of red. Din was being so loose with his scent compared to weeks before, it was the only thing he to smell with him being so close. It didn't help that it was laced with hints of his heat. Fuck, he smelled so good, he looked adorable with his concerned eyes watching him. He needed to leave, now. "Y-Yeah! I'm okay really!" Luke's voice was high as he pulled himself away and out the door, "Thank you so much for everything!"

Din was a bit stunned at how fast Luke tried to get away from him, "You're Welcome?" That was weird.

He leaned against the doorway watching them drive off one by one. Coming back inside he took a deep breath; their scents still lingering in the air. It didn't bother him, in fact, he was going to miss it when it disappeared.

Chapter Text

"-And here we are..."

"Oh, Luke... I don't even know what to say," A soft pink spread across Din's face as he looked at the spread the alpha made for them. He had to admit he didn't know what to expect when Luke led them to one of the more secluded parts of his ranch but he completely understood now. It was beautiful, an untouched piece of nature full of lush grass and an incredible view of the mountains.

Grogu let go of his hand and darted for the ball and other new toys that lay next to the blanket. "You're spoiling him you know that," Din smiled softly cautiously taking a seat on the picnic blanket. Everything looked so perfect; he didn't want to mess it up. Luke chuckled softly watching the little one play in his own world, "He more than deserves it... and so do you," he gestured to the light snacks spread between them, "Please take whatever you want."

"You really didn't have to do all of this, thank you," Din picked a grape from the vine popping it into his mouth. The fresh crisp juice was heaven in his mouth; were grapes always this good? Luke smiled softly, "I can't help myself. I've never met anyone like you, you're so strong and caring. I just want to show you my support." Din met his eyes, a bit stunned by such a heartfelt statement.

Luke's lemon pine scent pushed towards him gently. Din had to dart his eyes away, this-... he still didn't know if Luke felt the same way. He didn't want to project feelings onto someone he didn't want them. Din swallowed thickly thinking of a way to change the subject.

"So what made you want to name the ranch Padme?" He asked grabbing another grape from the bunch. It was definitely different, Din always heard of the stereotypical names like Rowdy or Seed Ranch.

"It was my mother's name. She passed giving birth to me and my sister so, when I bought it I named it after her," Luke hummed softly looking into the distance. "I'm sorry to hear that," Din gave his condolences quietly. He felt a little bad for asking but Luke didn't seem that upset, "You have a sister?"

"Yes, she's my twin," Luke smiled thinking about her, "We didn't grow up together but we eventually found each other when I was traveling."

"What are the chances of that?" Din smirked softly, he leaned forward handing Grogu a grape which the toddler happily took.

"I know right?" He waved his hand nonchalantly, "She still travels to volunteer wherever she can. She can never quite sit still," Luke took a deep breath and sighed, "I wanted to settle down and create something to leave behind for my family. She visits from time to time but I always feel connected to her."

"A twins' bond is a very strong connection," Din acknowledged. He didn't know all of this about Luke, which was the point of the date I guess. "You mentioned your father before. What about him?" Din asked, his heart picked up noticing the slight shift in Luke's demeanor, "If you're comfortable with talking about it."

"No, it's okay. I'm just surprised, it's not often that I meet people who don't recognize my name," Luke reassured him, "My mother was a politician from what I learned. When she and my father met they kept their relationship a secret. She wanted the media to focus on her political action and not her personal life. It went smoothly while she was in office but my father fell into tangles of corruption. Bribery, drugs, assassination, all of it. It's why my mother sent us away; to keep us safe." Luke bit his lip softly. Din wanted to reach over and comfort him, but he didn't exactly know how to.

"When I was younger I tried to help him get out of it but... he couldn't get the price off his head."

Din felt his heart sink. He and Luke weren't as different as he thought, "If it's any comforting I know what it's like... to not have them there. You're not alone," Din consoled placing his hand on top of Luke's. The alpha smiled gripping his hand gently.

They sat in comfortable silence for a moment staring off into the hazy mountains in the distance. Din couldn't help but swipe glances of the other man, appreciating the way the breeze picked up his hair, the sun hitting his skin just right. Luke smiled meeting Din's eyes unexpectedly.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to stare," his eyes shot to his lap, a bright blush spreading across his face. Luke chuckled softly sliding a gentle hand under Din's chin lifting his head so their eyes meet again, "I could never be upset with eyes as beautiful as yours staring at me."

Din's blush grew darker as his hand gripped onto the blanket underneath them. Okay, this is definitely flirting. Maybe Luke did feel the same way... but he couldn't just choose Luke. He liked all of them! It wouldn't be fair to Luke to feel that way.

"I...I-"

"Ball!" Grogu bounced up trying to chase after his ball rolling down the hill, his shoe falling off in the process. They parted quickly Din hopping up to grab Grogu before he got too far, "Hey, I got it. Go sit with Luke until I get back." Grogu pouted reluctantly turning back to Luke's open arms. "Come on Grogu, he'll be right back," Luke laughed softly at the toddler's pitiful act.

Din smirked shaking his head as he followed the trail the ball left. He actually needed a minute to himself; time to think about what the hell just happened. Things were, unfortunately, starting to make a lot of sense. Luke being worried about his hand, getting jealous over having another's scent on him, offering to look over Grogu whenever he needed. Luke really did like him and he felt like an idiot for just realizing this now. God, what really is wrong with him.

Din grunted picking up the ball from the bottom of the hill. Damn, this thing got far, he was glad he didn't let Grogu get it himself. Starting his way back he gripped the ball softly. How was he going to tell Luke that he didn't just want to be with him, he wanted to be with all three of them? He'd probably think he's crazy. Din really didn't want this to mess up their friendship. He liked having Luke's support whenever he needed it and he wouldn't know what he'd do if he lost that.

"Good job Grogu!"

Luke's praise could be heard as he approached the top of the hill. Din gasped softly when they finally came into view. He watched Grogu tie the final knot in his shoe by himself. How the fuck did he teach him so fast

"Good job, kid!" Din smiled jogging over to them, "I wasn't even gone for ten minutes! How did you?" Luke smiled brightly picking up Grogu bouncing him happily, "He's just a quick learner I guess." Yeah right, it took Din forever to teach him how to say his own name. Either way, this was astonishing and made everything impossibly harder for him. What was he going to say to him now?

"I don't know what you did but I need you to keep it up," Din handed Grogu the ball, "He needs to learn his numbers next." Luke laughed softly, "I'd be happy to help."

Grogu climbed down from his arms and went back to his own world. Din chewed at his lip as Luke stood so close yet his words were so far from prepared. It was torture trying to find the right thing to say.

"Luke?"

"Yes?" He answered oh so sweetly. Damn him. Damn his calming scent, perfect hair and face, and the way he was perfect for Grogu. Din grabbed his shirt collar locking their lips together. Luke made a surprised noise before melting into the kiss, his hands wrapping around Din's waist. It was slow and heartfelt they parted when they were out of breath, Luke moving to run his hands through Din's hair. Din purred deeply leaning into the touch, "I want to be with you... all three of you."

Luke sighed deeply pressing another gentle kiss into his lips, "You don't know how long I've wanted to hear that." Din's face flushed tilting his head slightly, "Really?" Luke chuckled softly cupping Din's face, "Din, you have to be the most oblivious person I've ever met." Din stared at him still not quite understanding what he was saying.

"Din! We've been trying to court you since you moved here! Have you really not realized until now?" Luke laid it out plainly for him and it made him feel like an even bigger idiot. Din groaned covering his face, he felt his ears burn red, "You were?! I just thought you were being friendly. God, I feel so dumb."

Luke sighed rubbing his back, "Oh Din... It's okay, it made this moment even more worth it."

"I'm sorry, I probably could have saved you so much time..." Din rubbed his eyes. Luke, still being a ball of sunshine, comforted him pressing kisses into the top of his head. Now that he knew how Din felt he could let the floodgates of affection free and give this man much-deserved love.

"I'm so glad I don't have to choose. I don't think I could," Din sighed softly leaning into every embrace. He never wanted it to stop. Luke purred deeply holding Din close; he soaked in his wonderous scent, probably the happiest alpha on Earth, "We'd never do that to you Din."

"...Are you going to tell Cobb and Boba?" Din asked meeting Luke's eyes. "Do you want me to?" Luke smiled softly brushing Din's hair out of his face.

Din hummed softly, he really did look forward to getting to know them individually. Hell, it would probably never happen but he might change his mind. And he didn't want to mess up any plans they may have already made.

"No, I'll figure it out," Din smiled softly as Luke nodded. Grogu got up and inserted himself between them; the toddler examined both of them his eyes squinted.

"New dad?" Grogu patted Luke's chest. Luke laughed hard while Din watched in horror. How the hell did he understand what was going on?

"I know I shouldn't have let you watch TV with Peli."

Notes:

Unfortunately, I have a very busy two weeks coming up. So, I may try to get one more chapter out this week but if not they'll definitely be back by April.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Chapter 8: The Hike

Notes:

We're getting pretty close to the end here, only 4 chapters left! I may create a series to add on little drabbles after the main story is done. There is still a lot to tell after this one is done.

Chapter Text

"-Yes, you were right from the beginning," Din wedged his phone between his ear and his shoulder. He smirked softly as he opened the side door of his truck reaching over to unbuckle Grogu from his seat.

"I still can't believe it took you so long to realize," Omera sighed on the other side of the line, "Those poor boys..." Din huffed as he turned around allowing the toddler to climb into the carrier on his back, "Give me a break, I had a lot of other things going on."

She chuckled softly, some shuffling happened in the background, "I know, let me know how today goes, okay? Who needs books when you've got a love story happening right before your eyes?"

Din groaned rubbing his eyes and her laughter rang through the phone. "I will, but I'll make sure to keep it as vague as possible." She whined a soft no before he hung up the phone. Cobb waved at him from the head of the tail, his signature grin spread across his face. Din puffed adjusting Grogu on his back, he had a feeling this date was going to leave him a lot more worn out than Luke's.

"Hey there, Beautiful," Cobb stood up from the post he was leaning on. Beautiful? He was already laying it on thick, huh? "This better be worth it. I'm risking my back for you," Din huffed as they started the path. More like it back and his knees... and whatever sanity he had left.

"Aw trust me it is. But if you ever want a break or to switch let me know," Cobb gestured to his backpack, "I brought snacks and water." Din nodded softly; he wanted to get deeper into the trail before they actually started talking. Plus he was just enjoying the sounds of nature and the cover of trees towering over them. The sun peaked through in rays creating interesting patterns across the brush-littered floor. Not to mention the way Cobb's scent drifted alongside him, calming hints of apple and gunpowder.

It was peaceful and scenic. Din almost didn't want to disturb the quiet at all, but Cobb had different plans.

"I heard you were thinking of taking the deputy position?" He hummed softly glancing over at Din. He bit his lip softly gripping the straps of the carrier. It was a bit weird talking to the sheriff, who just so happened to be the man he was interested in, about a position beneath him.

"I did mention it. That wouldn't be until Grogu starts school though," Din shrugged softly, he didn't exactly know what to say.

"What made you interested in the position?"

"Is this an interview now?" Din asked playfully. Cobb smirked rolling his eyes, "No, 'm just curious. It's quite a job to be interested in when you first move in."

"Well, Sheriff, It's something stable and I can line it up with Grogu's school hours. The store is nice but it's still pretty tight money-wise," Din explained, "I'm a quick learner, all you'd have to teach me is the paperwork."

"You know how to shoot?"

"Natural good shot. I beat out my whole training class," Din said nonchalantly. Cobb's eyebrows were raised when he paused to look at him, "Hand-to-hand combat and weapons training? You're full of surprises aren't you?"

"Self-defense wasn't something that was taken lightly in my home," Din rested his hands on his hips. Grogu shifted at his back taking in their surroundings. It was honestly perfect, Din wanted him to experience all the things he didn't when he was growing up.

"Well, that's good. I wouldn't want my omega getting hurt," Cobb pulled out a bottle from his backpack seemingly not realizing what he said.

"Your omega?" Din played coy tilting his head. Cobb nearly choked on his sip of water, his ears burning red, "I-I mean uhh- The spot is just right up here." He turned sharply walking up the trail. Din laughed softly following after him, he was at least going to have some fun now that he knew what was going on.

The end of the trail revealed a large clearing. They could see for miles, in fact, they could see the whole town from up here. Din took a deep breath of the fresh breeze, feeling the sun against his skin.

"Hey, over here," Cobb called him over. He was sitting underneath the shade a large singular tree created. Cobb stood up to help Grogu out of the carrier, setting the kid down to stand on his own. Din rubbed his back grunting softly as he pressed into a particular painful knot, "He's getting too big for me to carry him all the time."

"I'll carry him back down," Cobb held up his hand before Din could say anything, "non-negotiable." He smirked softly sitting back down opening his backpack to hand Grogu a little pack of fruit snacks. "Fruit snacks? What are you trying to do to me?" Din sighed softly plopping down next to Cobb. That was all Grogu was going to ask for for the next week. Cobb chuckled watching the little guy devour the whole bag.

"Tell me something Din... When are you allowed to take that off?" Cobb gestured to his high collar undershirt. Din perked up his hand coming up to feel the fabric around his neck. The was the first time they'd actually asked him a question about it, which he was glad about. He was much more comfortable talking about it with them now.

"I can take it off when I'm alone, completely alone Grogu does count. But once I'm mated I can never put it on again... it's a sign of purity and preservation," Din sipped from his water bottle. "Is it like no sex before marriage?" Cobb asked and it made Din chuckle a little.

"No no, I can have sex. They just can't mark me and I can't take it off," Din smirked softly. A silence fell between them. They watched Grogu use a stick to draw into the sand.

"...Would you ever allow yourself to be marked?" Cobb tilted his head, his face was unreadable. Din hummed softly tapping his finger against the bottle. He honestly thought that he never would but now... now he didn't know what he'd do.

"Would it really make you feel impure?"

Huh. Din clicked his tongue looking at the small town in the distance. Would it make him feel impure? He never thought about how he'd actually feel about it, he always assumed it would make him feel dirty. He just knew he would be impure to other omegas. But he's met plenty of mated omegas and he'd never been disgusted by them, he never thought they were any different. The real question is would he regret giving it up.

"I don't know... I've never thought about it until now," Din admitted quietly. He felt his scent gland tingle softly, he rubbed it trying to get rid of the sensation. "I'm sorry darlin' I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. 'm just curious, I don't quite know anybody like you," Cobb apologized, a bit of worry on his face.

"No, I'm okay. I just-... they were questions I've never been asked before," Din ran his fingers through his hair. He realized that this was a lot about him and not about Cobb. So, time to change the subject.

"What made you want to become the sheriff?" He glanced over at Cobb his eyebrows raising slightly.

"The man who used to run the town was a money-hungry piece of shit to put it kindly. I made sure everyone was taken care of, whether it was spotting money for tax or needing something fixed for cheap. So, when Boba took over we held a proper election for new laws, people wanted me to have the title," Cobb shrugged softly, "I never needed it but they felt like I deserved it."

Another comfortable silence fell between them. A breeze rustled the leaves of the tree above them. Grogu's stick made quiet scratching sounds in the sand. All Din could see was treetops and his small town, it was beautiful up here. Very relaxing.

Din smiled softly leaning back against the trunk of the tree, "You're a good man Cobb." Cobb smirked softly turning to face him, "Oh yeah?"

Din tilted his head, his eyes flicking between Cobb's eyes and lips, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I could have a bad side too, you don't know," The alpha leaned closer one of his arms caging Din's waist. Very smooth. Din grinned softly, "The point of this was to get to know you right?"

Cobb chuckled softly taking Din's lips in a passionate embrace. Din moaned into his mouth wrapping his arms around his neck. Cobb's tongue wasted no time exploring his mouth, his other hand holding his waist, some fingers sneaking up his shirt. They probably looked like a couple of horny teenagers but fuck did it feel good. Din gripped Cobb's shirt when they finally parted, he panted softly as the other trailed kisses down his jaw to his neck and shoulders.

"Cobb..."

Cobb hummed softly when he reached his scent gland, mouthing at it through the fabric. Din hissed softly, the sensation making heat coil deep in his stomach. It was... too much, too much for right now.

"Cobb, stop."

The alpha pulled away without a second thought, "Shit, I'm sorry. Are you okay?" Din blushed red, unable to make eye contact with him again, "Yeah, it's just... Grogu's still here."

Cobb turned around just in time to catch the stick Grogu was about to hit him with, "Woah, little guy!"

"Grogu! You know we don't hit-"

Grogu didn't seem to be listening as he shoved Cobb out of the way climbing in between him and Din. He clung to Din throwing a nasty glare at the alpha. Din was a bit stunned, he'd never seen the toddler act like this before.

"Grogu, what's the matter?" Din asked softly wrapping his arms around him. Grogu buried his face in his chest with a hmph. Cobb was just as confused as Din was looking between him and Grogu. The kid has never expressed any feelings towards him until now and it was kind of disappointing that they weren't good ones.

"I'm sorry I-" Din started before Grogu cut him off. "He was hurting you!" Grogu's voice was muffled by his shirt.

Oh

Din couldn't help the smile that grew on his face as he watched the tension drop from Cobb's shoulders. "He wasn't hurting me, Grogu. I'm okay see," He bent down pressing a kiss on the top of Grogu's head. Grogu sniffled looking up at him, he turned towards Cobb when he gently took his little hand.

"I would never hurt your dad, Grogu. I promise," Cobb's voice was soft and sincere as he spoke directly to him. Din felt his heart swell as Grogu reached up and wrapped his arms around Cobb's neck. Cobb chuckled softly wrapping his arms around the little one, "Aw buddy, I'll take good care of both of you."

Din smiled kissing Cobb's cheek. Grogu looked up at him still holding onto Cobb, "New dad too?"

"Too?" Cobb hummed softly and Din felt his cheeks heat up. Grogu really needs to stop putting him in these positions.

"I was a bit surprised Grogu acted the way he did. He didn't try to attack Luke after I kissed him," He ran his fingers through his hair. Cobb's eyes widened, "You know about all of us?"

Din huffed pitifully, "I do now. It took me long enough right?" Cobb pecked his lips again, a wide smile across his face, "I would have chased you till the end of time, beautiful."

"Oh please," Din playfully shoved him. "I can't help it, you're perfect for all of us," Cobb smirked softly, "How could I let someone as divine as you slip away?"

Chapter 9: The Lake

Notes:

And here we are, our last date and it's none other than Boba Fett.

The last chapters will be quite a treat and will return on April 9th!

Chapter Text

"I didn't even realize this was here."

Even miles in the air this lake was hidden by treetops and forest. It was majestic, clean, and clear. The sun glinted off of the water as it rolled gently into the shore. The sand wasn't too coarse as Boba guided them towards the water. Grogu bounced in his arms, squirming to get free.

"It's our best-kept secret," Boba paused at the edge of the water his hands resting against his hips. Din came up next to him; he finally placed Grogu down. He held onto the kid's hands as he splashed the water with his feet. He, of course, had no regard for Din getting him wet in the process. At least it wasn't cold.

"Alright, alright don't let the water go above your knees. I mean it," Din let go of Grogu's hands, the toddler taking a few steps deeper into the water. Thankfully he listened to his warning, Din would hate to have to take him out of the water when he wasn't near. Boba smiled softly watching Grogu dig his hands in the water picking up handfuls of the wet sand.

"I thought he might like it here. We can join him if you want," Boba glanced over at Din. The omega rubbed at his neck biting the inside of his cheek, it felt a bit too early to get wet yet. "Maybe later," Din took a couple steps back taking a seat in the sand. Boba joined him at his side. They were in no rush to talk, the quiet call of birds and splashing of water filling the silence.

While Luke and Cobb were expressive. Boba was more like him: reserved, and could enjoy the presence of another without talking to them. It was a nice change of pace for Din. Not that he didn't enjoy the previous dates, he just... appreciated the silent connection.

"How did you and Fennec meet?" Din asked softly digging his feet into the sand. He had to admit when he first moved here he thought they were together. They were near each other so often it was almost like they were inseparable.

Boba chuckled softly resting his arm on his knee, "We just found each other at our lowest point and we worked together to dig ourselves out." He smiled softly, "The business I did before I moved here wasn't exactly legal." Din hummed quizzically his eyebrows raising slightly. He wasn't sure what he was expecting but it definitely wasn't that. He had wondered where Boba got all his money from, I mean he just gave him a truck without batting an eye.

"I'm not currently wanted or active in it don't worry. These people have graciously accepted my leadership and I will not betray their trust," Boba reassured him. Din noticed how he skated around talking about what he did so he didn't press it. He was surely a different person now.

"Cobb mentioned you taking over. What happened?" Din sat up slightly watching Grogu try to go deeper. The toddler noticed him looking and moved back to where he was supposed to be.

"It was actually more of Luke than me," Boba smirked softly, "But I offered to buy him out of the town. When he didn't take it we had to take more unconventional methods of getting him out. Luke was the last tool to scare him off. Skywalker is quite a name."

"So I've heard..." Din hummed softly. It's so weird that Luke seemed to be a bit of a celebrity yet he's never heard of him.

"You know Din I've always wanted to commend you. The way you raise Grogu by yourself, you're doing a damn good job."

Din blushed softly running his hands through his hair, "Thank you... I can't say it's been easy..."

"I'm sure, but you make it look that way," Boba smiled. He grunted softly pushing himself off of the ground, "Are you ready to get in?" Din watched Boba pull his shirt over his head. His eyes danced across his broad-toned chest and wide middle. Boba's skin seemed to glow underneath the sun's rays... it was suddenly pretty hot.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind," Din grabbed Boba's hand as he helped him up. Their hands lingered together longer than they need to, Din really didn't want to let go.

So he didn't. Interlacing their fingers Boba gave him a bit of a surprised look. It quickly faded away when Din gave him a small smile.

They walked into the water together, Grogu rushing over to them bouncing at Din's feet. Din reached down to hold his hand too, now that he was getting in he could hold Grogu in the deeper water. That being said they didn't go much deeper than their stomachs. Din chuckled softly as he held Grogu by his waist allowing him to pretend he was swimming.

He only laughed because most of the water splashed onto Boba. The alpha unsuccessfully tried to shield himself from the water. Din wasn't sure how long they were out there but Grogu eventually got tired of being held. He guided him back to the shallow end and join Boba back in the deeper water. Droplets of water rolled down the alpha's tanned skin, the sun making them glisten.

Boba purred deeply as Din approached. His dark hair soaked and sticking to his face. His high-collared sleeveless shirt drenched and plastered to his skin, it did little to hide his chest and accentuated his broad shoulders. Fuck, who allowed such a beautiful omega to fall from heaven.

No words needed to be said as Boba took Din's hand gently, the other wrapping around his waist as he guided him closer. Din did nothing to stop it, in fact, he wrapped his free hand around Boba's neck.

"You truly are the most beautiful omega I've ever met," Boba whispered sweetly into his ear. Din purred softly his head tilting slightly to capture Boba's lips. They melted into each other, Boba tightening his arm around Din's waist until their bodies were flush. The light mineral taste of the lake water danced on their tongues until they pulled away. Boba pressed their foreheads together kissing each of Din's fingers where they were interlaced with his. It felt like just the two of them alone in the world. All they could see, feel, hear was each other.

Their tender moment was interrupted by a loud whistle that rang from the shore.

"Dads!"

Din perked up watching Grogu running over to none other than Cobb and Luke coming towards them. He smiled as Luke scooped up the toddler spinning around as he laughed in his arm.

"If I'd known you'd look this good, I would have gotten you wet much sooner darlin,'" Cobb purred as he stepped into the water. "Cobb..." Luke smirked softly as he followed him Grogu still in his arms.

Din rested his hands on his hips looking over a Boba, "Was this some big setup?" The alpha chuckled softly pressing a kiss into his temple, "I may have told them where I'd be this evening."

"It's a nice surprise to see you here too," Luke smiled kissing Din softly. Cobb followed after though his kiss was much more passionate.

Din blushed deeply surrounded by his three new boyfriends all at the same time. What the hell did he get himself into?

Grogu looked between the four of them, his brain seemed to be working especially hard. They chuckled softly at the poor overwhelmed toddler, he had so many new father figures he didn't know what to do with any of them. Din was especially proud that he'd given him so many positive role models to look up to.

The omega hummed softly as Boba took his hand again kissing each of his knuckles. "We love you so much Din," He purred deeply, the other two smiled nodding softly.

Din's blush grew darker as he looked between them, their scents mixing again into a perfect soothing aura. Each of them perfect in their own way with their own quirks. How did he get so lucky? He smiled,

"I love you too."

Chapter 10: The Desire

Notes:

Alright, this is the spicy NSFW chapter. Feel free to skip it if you're not into that, anything important will be mentioned in the next chapter.

Chapter Text

When the first punishing cramp nearly made his knees buckle followed by a flood of desire washing over his body, Din wasted no time calling Peli Motto to take Grogu for the weekend. She was a beta which meant she wouldn't be as nearly as affected as other people in the town. Though Din still noticed how her pupils were larger than normal when she did pick up the toddler from the door.

Din had always had intense heats. They were painful even debilitating at times but he found ways to manage. This time, however, hit him like a truck. Din yelped as another cramp ripped through his gut. He panted softly gripping the sheets waiting for it to pass. He didn't even realize he was supposed to have his heat week but now that it was happening it made sense.

The urges he's had to fill his bed with anything soft he had laying around; he resisted placing snacks and water nearby which he absolutely regretted now. Din grunted pushing himself up slowly. He needed to get his clothes off. The fabrics rubbed against his increasingly sensitive skin. Sweat didn't make the task any easier ultimately giving up when he got down to his boxers and undershirt. This was... too much

Heat coiled deep in his stomach, his cock straining against the fabric it was trapped beneath. He needed something... someone. Din didn't keep toys around cause he would never want Grogu to find them. But it absolutely bit him in the ass when moments like these came along.

Din flopped back down into his nest of pillows and blankets. His hands shook as he grabbed his phone off of the nightstand. Another cramp ripped through him while it rang, he squeezed his eyes shut curling in on himself trying not to make too much noise. He gasped softly when it finally stopped, and his lungs worked properly again.

"Hey darlin'"

"Cobb..." Din whimpered softly. Hearing the alpha's voice already began to soothe him. But he needed him here, he needed to touch him, feel him.

"What's the matter? Are you okay?" Cobb's tone completely shifted. The noises in the background suggested he was already getting ready to go.

"I need you... all of you, please..." Din whined softly. He palmed at his cock while slick gathered between his legs. Just the thought of all of them being here made him shiver. He took a shaky breath gripping the phone, "Please hurry... please please."

"Calm down sugar, we'll be right over okay?" Cobb purred into the phone. Another coil of lust stirred in Din's hips. He whined pressing the palm of his hand harder into his cock, "Okay..."

Cobb hung up and the phone dropped from Din's ear. His hair was completely drenched at this point, short curls sticking to his forehead. He felt the slick begin to spread against the back of his thighs. He couldn't think about anything other than having their knots inside of him. His cock twitched at the thought of them filling him with pups, he covered his mouth to muffle the moans spilling out of it.

He just needed them here. He needed them to touch him. He wanted to hear their voices reassure him. He wanted them to fill him with their cocks and fuck him into the mattress. Din choked coming into his boxers, he panted softly burying his face into a pillow. It didn't help. Desire and lust still tore through him, commanding his every action and thought.

It may have been the wrong use of his cruiser but Cobb couldn't give less of a damn. He used his lights to get around much faster than the speed limit. "Cobb, calm down, he's still going to be there when we arrive," Boba grabbed his shoulder from the backseat. He understood the urgency but they wouldn't be about to do anything if they were fucking dead.

"You didn't hear his voice Boba," Cobb gripped the wheel threatening to press even harder on the gas, "We knew this was goin' to happen but- hearing it." He groaned biting the knuckle of his thumb. He really needed to focus on the road.

"I hope he's at least got some water... he's probably hurting..." "Fuck Luke, don't just say things like that," Cobb had to adjust the way he was sitting. The thought of satisfying Din's aching need with his knot was almost too much.

Cobb shoved the cruiser into park so fast that the car jerked. It smelled like a tornado was about to run through the damn town with the amount of Din's sweet petrichor scent pouring out of his trailer. Poor Luke had to brace himself against the door of the car. Cobb didn't blame him, his inner alpha screaming and raging to take; claim Din as his own and fill him with pups.

"We need to find a way to properly seal this," Boba boarder-lined growled as they approached his trailer. He didn't like that anyone could come along and smell Din like this. He was theirs

The front door jostled in the distance, "Din?" A familiar sweet voice called out to him.

Din found the strength to push himself upright, "In here," he croaked. Boba appeared in the doorway first, Din was already reaching out to him before he came over and wrapped his arms tightly around him. Din took deep breaths of this eucalyptus scent clutching his shirt between his fingers.

"It's okay we're here now my love," Boba purred into his ear placing kisses down his neck. Din whined as Cobb pressed against his back rubbing soothing circles into his aching hips. Luke trailed in last, he held a glass of water and a light snack he found in Din's kitchen.

The other two gave Luke some space when he joined them on the bed, though their hands still remained on him. Luke pushed the hair from his face gently handing him the glass of water, "Did you eat anything? Are you going to be okay?"

Din sipped from the water nodding softly. He looked between them and could see their pupils blown wide with desire, yet they made sure he was good before they took care of him. He felt safe and comfortable with them. Which thrust his heat into overdrive, his mind no longer needing its underlying protection mechanism.

It felt like his insides were burning up, slick coated his thighs as Cobb helped him out of his boxers. They lavished him, each kiss and caress like hot coals against his skin. Din whined loudly as Cobb mouthed at his scent gland again, the fabric of his shirt creating a frustrating barrier. Luke traced feather-light touches up his throbbing cock, swiping away the precum leaking from it. Boba purred in his ear, his mouth a flood of filthy thoughts only to fuel his desire.

"-I want you tied to me. My knot deep inside you as I fill you with my cum. You won't leave this room without carrying my pups," he growled gripping Din's hips. Din whimpered his name thrusting into Luke's hand. Boba's hips ached, his cock straining against his pants. Din's heat was powerful enough to throw them all into rut, he could smell it in Cobb and Luke's scent. It was like Din was made just for them, his cycles strong enough to handle all three of them.

"Please... I need you inside-," Din breathed heavily pulling at his undershirt. They all looked at him hesitantly, Cobb grabbed his hand stopping him from taking it off in front of them. "Are you sure Din? Maybe we should wait for this after your heat darlin'..."

Din appreciated their concern but he understood what he was doing. He wanted them to mark him, he wanted to be claimed by each one of their mouths as they split him on their knot. He finished pulling his shirt off baring himself to them, "I want this."

Boba groaned softly pulling Din flush against him, he buried his face in the crook of his neck. His scent gland was hot and flush from his heat. The omega smelled sweeter than ever as he slowly laid him back into the mattress. Cobb and Luke allowed him to have his turn first, moving back to share a tender kiss.

Boba took Din's lips in a fierce embrace. He swallowed Din's moans as he worked to unbuckle his belt and free his neglected cock. "Fuck, I'm going to leave you so full," he muttered collecting Din's slick on his fingers, there was no resistance as he slowly pressed them into the omega.

Din moaned his eyes lidded as something finally filled his emptiness. He whimpered as Boba's fingers dragged in and out of him, more slick gushing around them. It felt fantastic and not enough at the same time. Din's chest heaved his face flushed, "Boba- I need-," he whined softly, "please!"

Boba pulled away admiring Din below him. The poor omega looked like he was going to burst, it made his heart ache and cock jump. He wanted to take care of him, give him everything he need. It was instinctual, for an alpha in rut anyway.

A long moan burst from Din's mouth when Boba pressed into him. His cock filled him to the brim temporarily relieving him of his deep desire. Din wrapped his legs around Boba's waist holding him in place just for a moment. Boba bent over holding their foreheads together. He was no longer a void of lust and the alpha's scent was intoxicating. Din never thought he'd do something like this, find something like them.

Loosening his legs Boba wasted no time picking up his thrust. He kissed down Din's neck and shoulders, his hands holding his hips tenderly. Din moaned rolling his head back subconsciously presenting his throat to him, which Boba graciously took licking a thick stripe up his adam's apple.

Cobb and Luke watched, they held each other close Cobb nibbled at Luke's neck. They stroked each other's cock just enough to keep them on the edge, Luke moaning quietly chewing at his lip. Boba fucked into Din harder; the headboard slamming into the wall behind it. Though it could barely be heard over Din's pretty moans. His knot beginning to swell and catch against the rim of Din's hole.

"Fuck! please!" Din whimpered pitifully, he gripped onto Boba as he buried himself deep, his knot locking them together. He arched harshly spilling all over his stomach as Boba sunk his teeth into his scent gland. Pleasure shot through his spine as the alpha marked him. Boba came, as he clamped down tight around him coating his insides. He licked soothing stripes against Din's abused neck, a bruise blooming around his teeth marks.

Din panted his eyes fluttering closed as he laid limp against his pillows. They were stuck like this for a couple minutes which gave him a good amount of time to recuperate before the next one. Luke and Cobb joined them again. Cobb kissed Boba softly and Luke gently stroked Din's cheek pushing his hair off of his forehead.  It was normally dangerous for others especially alphas to approach an omega and alpha tied together but Boba made no move to get possessive over him and Din was absolutely not going to reject the attention.

"God, you're so fucking beautiful," Cobb muttered deeply into Din's ear. It added fuel to the fire in his belly as his heat came crawling back. Din mewled quietly when Boba pulled out, his knot small enough not to hurt him. Cobb quickly replaced his cock with his fingers catching whatever cum that leaked out, "Can't have you leaking yet, you're not full." Cobb replaced Boba's spot; Din's arms wrapped around his neck pulling him close.

"Fuck, please fill me," Din breathed, Cobb kissed him passionately. Din moaned softly as the alpha sunk his teeth into his bottom lip, followed by apologetic laps. His cock slid in with one fluid motion, Din sighed as it made a blooming cramp fade away. He was prepared to lay back and take whatever Cobb was giving but a small noise escaped him as the alpha flipped their position. Cobb laid on his back ogling at the work of art above him.

Din wasn't going to wasted time being admired. He bounced on his cock, raising up until the tip remained and dropping back down. Cobb groaned as he rubbed his thighs, feeling the muscle work underneath the skin. His eyes traced every part of the omega, the sweat glistening off of his pink flushed skin, the way his hair curled and stuck to his face when wet, the first of three mating marks bruised into his skin. His teeth tingled, wanting to sink them into the pretty skin.

Cobb held Din's hips he planted his feet to meet the omega's downward thrust. Din moaned loudly doubling over, one arm caught himself against the headboard. Fuck, it was hot, all he could see was Din, all he wanted to see was Din in complete bliss. His face loose with lust. Cobb's knot began to swell, Din panted rocking back onto it. It wasn't as big as Boba's but fuck did it reach much deeper.

Cobb flipped them again caging Din below him. He sunk his teeth into the crook of his neck, leaving a mark that slightly overlapped Boba's. Din cried into the alpha's shoulder his nails dragging red lines down the other's back. Cobb came to the way Din whined his name, his hips gently thrusting his knot and cum deeper into Din. The omega choked coming onto his stomach again, his breaths were shaky as he gripped onto Cobb.

Luke quietly crawled next to him, his eyebrows were turned upward as he placed his hand on his shoulder, "Are you okay Din? Don't push yourself..." Cobb peppered sweet kisses into Din's neck before slowly sitting up. Din mewled softly as his knot shifted inside of him. He took a deep breath as Cobb stroked his cheek gently, "I'm fine." Din's voice was hoarse, Luke hummed his eyes meeting the other's pretty brown ones.

"What do you need?" He asked quietly a small smile on his face. Din made a soft noise his eyes fluttering close for a moment. "Some water... and your knot."

Cobb chuckled softly caressing Din's thigh, "What the hell did we do to deserve you, Darlin?" He pecked the other's lips before helping him sit up; Luke carefully held the cup of water to his mouth while he sipped what he needed. Luke and Cobb shared a tender kiss, Cobb grinned softly feeling the need on the other's lips.

Din sighed softly relaxing back into the sheets as they switched places one more time. His heat was beginning to break, though the way Luke dragged his observant eyes across his body sent shivers up his spine. The alpha skipped to the good part, his cock sliding in smoothly guided by the slick and cum from the previous encounters.

Luke was gentle with him, his thrust slow and full as he caressed his skin. His hands never left his body and his lips barely had a break either. That being said he was being physically gentle with him but mentally the man knew how to wreck him. Din whined softly as a hand laid idly around his throat, occasional twitches in his fingers filling him with anticipation. The way he rubbed and pressed at his stomach, fuck, he really didn't need pups right now but he would just to have Luke touch him like this all the time. It was addicting... he was addicting.

"Luke please..." Din whined softly running his fingers through the alpha's soft blond hair. Luke hummed softly kissing up his neck then placed a long kiss on the shell of his ear, "Please what, baby?" He muttered lowly. Oh fuck...

Din gripped onto him, his face flushed a deep red and his cock oozing precum, "Please don't stop." Luke purred deeply picking up the pace, one hand jerking Din's cock in time with his thrust. Din moaned sweetly, curving into the alpha above him. His knot filled him until they came in unison, Din yelped as Luke sunk his teeth into his skin. His mark a pulsing heat right next to Cobb's. The heat traveled down his spine and across his body.

Luke's lips were on his, stealing his breath away one last time. He felt complete, Luke laying on top of him gently combing his fingers through his hair. The other two joined his sides even though their drowsiness. He knew he'd feel sticky and gross in the morning but yawning softly he couldn't find the willpower to get up and move. Their warmth penetrated his skin deeper than any coat or blanket.

His eyes grew heavy; their purrs buzzing softly in his ear. He fell asleep surrounded by his breath-taking alphas. And he was theirs.

Chapter 11: The Final

Chapter Text

Din took a deep breath, his eyes cracking open to be greeted by the morning sunlight illuminating his room. Damn, he really slept the whole day yesterday. Well, he slept after... you know

He hummed softly glancing down at the comfortable weight on his chest. Luke still had him trapped as he snored softly, his arms wrapped around Din's waist. Fuck, he was stunning. But Boba and Cobb were unfortunately nowhere to be found. It was understandable, they both had jobs to take care of. Though Din would be lying if he said it wasn't a bit disappointing to not have them here.

However, he had Luke. Din hummed softly running his fingers through the other's blond hair, his lemon pine scent standing out against the others that filled the room. It was reassuring, he wouldn't know how to react if they all just disappeared after what happened yesterday. Din ran his fingers over their mating marks on the crook of his neck. The marks make a sort of triangle on his scent gland.

He gave everything to them.

He can never confidently return to his home and he didn't know how the hell he was going to tell Paz. Din sighed deeply staring up at the ceiling; he could worry about all this stuff later. Right now he was becoming more aware of how sticky he felt. It sent shivers up his spine as he shifted trying to find a way to get out of bed without disturbing Luke. But in doing so he did exactly what he meant not to.

"Morning," Luke mumbled nuzzling his cheek into Din's chest. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," Din gave up on getting out of bed as Luke tightened his grip around his waist. It made a warmth bloom in his chest.

"'S okay, I fell asleep waiting on you to wake up," Luke chuckled softly, "Cobb and Boba went to pick up some breakfast."

Oh! They really didn't have to do that... Now Din felt bad thinking they would just leave him. "You could have woken me up I would have made some."

"You looked so peaceful, we couldn't. When was the last time you slept in?" Luke looked up at Din pouting.

Sleep in? He didn't even know the definition. That's probably why he slept the whole day away. "I don't remember," Din smiled softly as Luke frowned at him.

He stretched wincing at the soreness in his muscles, "I need a shower." Din yawned as Luke rubbed his chest a smirk slowly growing on his face.

"Need any help?" Luke asked coyly glancing up at him. Din huffed slowly pushing himself up the alpha moving along with him, "I do need someone to get my back," he purred kissing Luke deeply. Luke hummed into his mouth his hand coming up to caress the back of his neck.

Din panted softly as they parted. Fuck, Luke always knew how to leave him wanting more, his lips still tingling from the embrace. Luke laughed softly cupping Din's face in his hands to drag him out of his daze, "You are so cute."

Din felt his heart flutter and his cheeks grow warm. It was so dumb. When was the last time someone called him cute? Yet here he was, acting like some teenager being asked out by their crush.

Din squinted, full rays of sunlight coming through the door as he opened it. His hair still a bit damp from the shower. The smell of food made him realize how hungry he really was.

"Morning, my love," Boba purred deeply pressing a quick kiss on Din's lips as he came in. Din smiled softly watching Cobb trail in after him.

"Hey beautiful," Cobb kissed him again, his hand coming to rest against his waist, "Look who we found." Din tilted his head looking at Cobb before another figure show up in the doorway.

"I guess you won't be needing aunt Peli no more huh little guy?" Peli smiled bouncing Grogu in her arms. Grogu lit up reaching out to Din, who practically left Cobb high and dry to scoop up the toddler in his arms.

"Hey, kiddo. Were you good for Peli?" Din chuckled softly as the kid wrapped his arms around his neck nearly choking him. "Yeah, I was gonna come make sure you were okay but," She peeked around the corner to see Luke, Cobb, and Boba already making plates of food, "you're doing better than okay huh?" She winked clicking her tongue. "I knew you would fall for those boys eventually."

Din smiled softly patting Grogu's back, "Thank you for watching him."

Peli waved her hand dismissively as she began walking back to her car, "You know I love the little guy."

Din waved her bye as she pulled out of the driveway. He really did appreciate all her help. While he trusted Ahsoka and Omera he would hate to have thrown them into a rut or heat.

Din flinched feeling tiny fingers sweep across his new marks. He looked down at Grogu, the toddler's eyes wide as he examined a part of Din he's technically never seen before. He traced each one with his finger, Din wincing softly, they were still sensitive. However, he let him continue, Grogu was still way too young to understand what they meant but he still wanted to give him a healthy exposure to it. He eventually had to get the talk when he developed his caste. Thankfully no matter what he was Grogu now had a good model for each one.

"Din? Are you alright?" Boba raised an eyebrow at him from the kitchen. Right, he was fucking starving

"Sorry I just got lost in thought," Din closed the front door joining them in the kitchen. "You're always swimming in that beautiful head of yours," Cobb smirked sipping from his orange juice.

Din chuckled softly, Luke was already finished so he lifted Grogu from his arms. Grogu wasn't too keen on leaving Din this time but he calmed down when Luke fed him a couple apple slices.

"We wanted to say, you are more than welcome to move in with me or Luke. If you ever feel this place is too small," Boba mentioned so very nonchalantly like he didn't just ask Din to move in

"Uh-..."

"Hey! What about me?" Cobb sat up, "Din you can move in with me too."

"Cobb if you're not at the department you're either at my place or Boba's. When was the last time you even turned on the lights in your house?" Luke corrected him quick.

"Well, I'd be more tempted to go home if Din was there," Cobb said matter-of-factly.

Before this could degrade any further Din spoke up, "Listen, I'm flattered but I'm not ready to go through moving again. I'm sure at least one of you is going to be here no matter what."

Boba huffed into his cup, "Maybe Cobb would finally get off my couch." A smile grew on his face watching Cobb's flabbergasted reaction. "Well, I'm sorry! I didn't realize it was such a problem." Cobb crossed his arms slouching back into his seat.

Din chuckled softly. Of all the guest rooms in Boba's house, hell, even Boba's own bed. He sleeps on the couch. Boba purred softly lifting Cobb's face towards his, "You know I'm only teasing, cowboy."

"Well I don't like this kind of teasing," Cobb hmphed looking up at him. Boba smirked softly inching closer, "Yeah? What kind of teasing do you like?" His hand moving from his chin to wrap around his throat.

Din cleared his throat from across the table. While this was incredibly hot, Grogu was right here. Boba stole Cobb's lips for a moment before going back to his cup of coffee.

"Maybe we can find out after Grogu is put down for a nap?" Luke asked softly pressing a kiss onto Din's head.

Din hummed softly tapping his fingers against his mug, "If... we can keep it quiet." Cobb sighed resting his cheek against his palm, his eyes had a dreamy gaze as he stared at Din, "I love you."

"What do you think Grogu? You want the green one?" Din held up a small bookbag for him to see. But Grogu was engrossed in a pack of crayons in the basket of the shopping cart paying no attention. Din tossed it in anyway, green was his favorite color.

"Look at the shirt I found! It has a little spaceship on it," Luke gushed showing Din the little black shirt. Din smiled softly, "Yeah, it'll go with the jacket Boba picked out."

"We found the lunchboxes," Cobb waved a little green lunchbox as he joined them in the aisle, Boba trailing behind him. Din told them to put it all in the cart.

They had been together for a couple months now, just in time for Grogu to start preschool. So, now he had three alphas following him around the store like he was some kind of queen bee. He should be used to it now but the occasional looks they got still made his hair stand.

When it did happen any one of them would wrap their hand around his waist, placing a kiss on his temple, pushing their scent gently towards him. It made him completely forget those who were staring. He's been alright so far but-

"Well look who it is," Cara stopped in her tracks. Omera who nearly passed them turned around, her daughter standing up in her shopping cart. Looks like they were back to school shopping too.

"Din! and uh... crew?" Omera chuckled. Din smiled, yeah greeting them all together is a bit of a mouth full, "Hey, I didn't even realize you were here."

"It's exciting isn't it," Omera smiled brightly picking through all the things in Din's cart, "Do you think he's ready?" Din huffed rubbing at the back of his neck, "It's going to be a rough start. He's only ever spent occasional nights away from me. I don't know how he's going to react..."

"How are you both going to react? I know you, Din. You're going to be worried sick," Omera ran her fingers through Grogu's hair before looking at him.

The conversation continued between the omegas, the alphas took a step back. There was a different energy between them, a more fatherly tone. "Are you three ready for what's ahead?" Cara smirked softly crossing her arms over her chest.

"Of course!" Luke answered in a heartbeat. He was always one for kids, he loved them. Cobb rubbed at his chin, he can't say he's never thought of having kids of his own but they were just that... thoughts. "I think we'll just have to take it as it comes. Don't get me wrong I love little Grogu to death but... I don't have the first clue on how to raise a kid."

"I don't think anyone truly does," Boba muttered. He has definitely never thought of having kids but after meeting Grogu his mind was changed. "It just takes patience. That's all I can say, I'm sure you four can handle one kid," Cara watched their omegas chat it up. Her daughter trying to reach over carts and play with Grogu.

"One for now..." Luke murmured rocking on his heels. Cara laughed softly, "You're bad."

Their conversation seem to be dying down so they joined their partners again, Cara guiding her daughter back into the cart so she didn't fall out. "Oh! There was someone new who came in yesterday. Pretty big from what I heard, they were staying at the hotel down the road," Omera commented before grabbing the handle of her cart.

"You guys really do track everything that goes on around here," Din hummed resting his hands on his hips. "It's a small town! And you're dating the sheriff," Cara waved as they continued their shopping. Cobb smiled guiltily when Din narrowed his eyes at him.

As they started checking off their list again Din began to notice... there are a lot more people here than before. He normally wouldn't have a problem but ever since he stopped covering his neck he's had to work up his confidence again. Each look made his skin crawl.

He understood why he was getting them. Boba, Cobb, and Luke were huge figures in the town and here he was with all three when he hadn't even been here a year. Most of them weren't malicious just curious. They still stung either way.

Boba noticed how tightly he was holding his scent, his aura changed and his eucalyptus rum scent picked up in fierceness. Which made Cobb and Luke notice too and if anything was going to turn heads it was three alphas getting protective over him.

Din made a sharp turn into an empty aisle, Grogu rocked a little but he was otherwise fine in his own world. Din wished he could be there with him but the best he could do was take a breather in an empty aisle. He quietly picked through the things on the shelf to distract himself. His boyfriends thankfully allowed him a little space making sure no one was coming along. He felt bad, these people were just trying to get their shopping done. Din tapped his finger against the handle of the cart, tracing the tiles on the floor.

He didn't even notice Cobb walk back to him until he wrapped his arms around him caging him against the cart. He pressed flush against him trailing kisses down his neck. Din blushed softly feeling his warmth around him, his lips softly caressing his skin. It was sweet until Cobb rolled his hips against him nearly making his knees buckle. The alpha chuckled deeply holding him even tighter.

"Cobb..." He warned with no real tension in his voice. "'m sorry. It's just so sexy following you around the store... watching you from behind," Cobb purred grinning against his skin. His fingers snuck their way under his shirt rubbing circles into his hips, "Everyone wishes they could have an omega as beautiful as you in their bed."

Din made a broken noise pressing back into him. He hated how they could wreck him with their gentle touches. Cobb's hands left his hips and traveled down squeezing his thighs through his jeans. Din sighed softly gripping onto the cart. They were terrible for him, he even put on some weight ever since they found out he had a sweet tooth. But he loved it, he loved them.

"I have to say... this is the last position I expected to find you in."

Din froze recognizing that voice. No way. Grogu bounced up seemingly recognizing the voice too. Fuck, fuck! Cobb turned around ready to tell whoever this guy was off but it immediately died on his tongue when he saw him. It was the guy from Din's photo album. Definitely more intimidating in person and Cobb wasn't easily intimidated. But this was also like Din's older brother.

"Paz!" Grogu jumped in the shopping cart. He tried to lean around Din to see him. Boba and Luke came to join them obviously confused about what was going on. Hell! Din didn't know what was going on?! He hadn't seen Paz in months and now he was here and caught him being fondled in the damn store.

Din took a deep breath finally turning around to face him. Paz crossed his arms over his chest, he still wore his usual blue long sleeve turtleneck. Din felt a twinge in his heart, Paz's face was unreadable as he looked at him. He truly missed Paz dearly but now that he gave up his preservation he didn't know how he would react.

"I'm sorry- I... we-" Din stumbled over the right thing to say. "It was completely my fault. It's not a usual thing he just needed some comfort," Cobb spoke up for him unashamed, even though it was absolutely a regular thing.

Paz hummed softly Din flinched as he rested a hand on his shoulder. His thumb ran over the mating marks on his skin. Din couldn't look Paz in the eyes, "I was going to tell you I just-... I didn't know how you'd take-"

"They suit you."

Din flushed looking up at him, "W-what?" Paz smiled softly pulling him into a hug, Din sighed deeply holding him tight. His boyfriends were happily touched by the pleasant reunion, Luke lifting Grogu out of the shopping cart, placing him on the ground. The toddler runs over to Paz hugging his leg tightly.

Pulling away Din tilted his head sightly, "What made you want to come?" The bigger omega chuckled lifting Grogu to his shoulders like he always used to, "You think I'd miss this little guy's first day of school?"

"He's going to have many more," Din smiled returning to his alphas. Boba wrapped his arm around his shoulders. "The change of scenery isn't bad either. It's... quiet here," Paz hummed looking between the four of them.

"Well, are you going to introduce me or what?"

Chapter 12: The Oven

Chapter Text

Din yawned trying to rub the tiredness from his eyes.

"You alright there darlin'?" Cobb sat up to pause the movie. It was their day off and they were spending it at Boba's house. Din had been wanting to watch this movie all week, but he didn't seem too into it. Boba hummed quizzically examining Din, Luke sat snuggled up at his side, "Did you want some coffee?"

Din scrunched his nose shaking his head, "No, just the smell of coffee has been making me feel sick."

Luke furrowed his eyebrows a bit stunned by Din's rejection of coffee. Cobb noticed it too him and Luke sharing a look. The first thing they usually did before going into the department was get a coffee. But as of recently, Din didn't even want to go into the diner and after Cobb got his usually they had to drive the rest of the way with the windows down.

"I'm fine... I'm just tired," Din sighed softly as Cobb moved closer messaging his shoulders, "I think I need a nap."

"Of course, we can start again when you wake up," Cobb murmured his arms wrapping around Din from behind to pull the omega against his chest. Din hissed and a pained moan fell from his mouth as Cobb pressed against his chest.

"Easy Cobb," He warned laying back against the alpha to get away from his grip. Cobb was speechless as Din laid against him, hell, so were Boba and Luke! He was never this sensitive before.

"I'm uhh... I'm sorry darlin'. I didn't mean to hurt you," Cobb hesitantly rested his hand against Din's hip. "It's okay. I might have done something to them yesterday," Din yawned softly running his fingers over his chest, "I don't remember what though."

Cobb hummed softly. They didn't do anything particularly strenuous yesterday. It was mainly patrol and one house call. He probably just picked up Grogu in a weird way.

Din slowly pushed himself up scooping the said toddler off of the floor. Grogu whined being pulled away from his toys but Din held him anyway. "We're going to take a nap. Don't watch the movie without me," he mumbled even more tiredly than before. They watched him carry the poor toddler out of sight, a silence filling the room.

An uncomfortable silence. The type of silence where everyone has something to say but no one wants to go first. So, while it was silent in the room your brain was running a hundred miles per hour with thoughts and the urge to-

"Has Din been acting... weird?"

"Oh thank god," Luke sighed after Boba finally broke the silence, "Yes, I've noticed it recently."

"I mean I think we all just witnessed it together," Cobb glanced down at his hands. Din felt really warm and the omega usually ran pretty cold.

Boba hummed rubbing Luke's hip as he thought. It was completely plausible that his taste had just changed, coffee wasn't necessarily a universally liked thing. Din being tired was because he didn't want to drink coffee. And they all aren't as young as they used to be, Boba soon realized how taxing Grogu was on his back. Lifting the little guy was a bit awkward at times.

Or that's at least how he thought. Boba sat up looking between them, "I think we need more evidence. Do you two remember any more times he was acting strange?"

Cobb perked up immediately, "Yeah actually, it happened earlier this week..."

"Oh! When did you get these?" Din chimed, he smiled bouncing softly as he opened the box of donuts Cobb placed on the corner of his desk.

"I just got 'em. Had to make up for being late this morning huh?" Cobb smirked looking up at Din. He slept through his damn alarm which made him about thirty minutes late, since he was already late might as well do something nice for Din. Having him as his deputy has been a lot of help especially when it came to the quiet days.

"I wanted some of these so bad," Din moaned as he took a big bite out of a maple donut. Cobb couldn't help the smile growing on his face seeing his omega so happy, "I know, you mentioned it a couple times yesterday."

Din hummed happily grabbing another after demolishing the first, "I can't believe you remembered." Cobb chuckled softly, shifting back to his reports. Of course, he remembered. He loved filling Din up with sweets and it isn't often that Din talks about something specific. When he did you'd best bet it either of them would have it in Din's hands the very next day. Sometimes in the next couple hours.

Cobb scratched at his beard as he signed along the lines of the papers. He moved over to place them in a folder and slid it into a drawer under his desk. Cobb wasn't even paying attention to what Din was doing until he heard a noise from the fridge. He glanced back at the box and it was completely empty!

What the hell? He only bought six cause it was just the two of them but he didn't even get to have one. And Din's in the fridge even after eating the whole box, maybe he skipped breakfast this morning.

Cobb leaned back in his chair typing to get a better look at Din, "Hey, darlin? What are you doing over there?" Din froze momentarily before answering him, "Uh... nothing- just looking."

Rolling his chair back Cobb squinted catching a glimpse of the last donut in one hand and an open bottle of ranch in the other. "Din! What the fuck?"

Din blushed, shoving the last bite covered in ranch into his mouth. Cobb's jaw dropped watching the omega happily chewing away as he closed the fridge. "Listen, it's actually really good," Din smiled wide at the alpha's reaction.

"I'm not listening to anything you have to say."

Luke gagged softly as Cobb finished his story, "That is disgusting."

"Yeah," Cobb ran his fingers through his hair, distraught after having to relive it.

Boba rested his cheek in his palm. Din had a pretty tough stomach, the man would pretty much eat whatever you put in front of him. That being said he never actively looked for weird food combinations so, that was definitely odd. Something that he couldn't explain or make an excuse for.

"That reminds me of something..." Boba sat up Luke shifting on his lap slightly.

Boba tenderly wrapped this hand around Din's waist as the omega quietly pulled the door to Grogu's room closed, "Is he asleep?" He muttered pressing a kiss behind his ear. Din sighed leaning back into him, his fingers interlacing with Boba's, "Finally..."

Boba chuckled softly as Din led him back to his bedroom. Din kissed him quickly before letting go of his hand; Boba stood by the doorway while Din changed into something more comfortable. Normally, he would sit on the bed and wait for Din but as of recently, the omega had become a little more protective of his nest. If Grogu was on it with him then it was a complete no-go. That came about after he growled at Cobb for getting too close.

It was a strange experience. They were all very confused, instincts took over instead of rational thought. It definitely spooked Cobb that was for sure, he didn't even want to come into the room without Din's explicit consent.

"Are you getting in or what?" Din smiled softly climbing into the bed, He fluffed some of the pillows before laying on his side. Boba grunted softly as he laid next to him propped up against his collection of pillows and blankets. Din sat up and got into his lap, his hands resting on Boba's face stroking his cheek gently. Boba hummed softly holding his hips, he turned his head slightly to press his lips into his palm. Din was feeling quite affectionate tonight. He wasn't complaining but this wasn't their usual routine when Boba stayed the night.

Din would normally fall asleep curled up at his side and Boba would eventually scoop him up as the big spoon until they both were asleep. However, Din did seem like he was having a rough time this week so he didn't blame him for seeking the extra attention.

Boba leaned forward kissing Din's neck. Din purred tilting his head to give him more access, his hands moving to grip the alpha's shoulders. Boba slid his hands up his shirt his mouth moving from his neck to his shoulders; Din shivered as his teeth grazed over his scent gland.

Din sighed shakily as he leaned forward against Boba's chest burying his face into the crook of the alpha's neck. Also odd? Boba paused slowly laying back onto the pillows, he rubbed soothing circles into the omega's hips.

"Din?" He murmured pressing his lips onto Din's head. A quiet sniffle came from the other which made Boba freeze momentarily. "Din? What's the matter?" Worry filled Boba as he felt Din shutter against him. Did he do something wrong?

He felt his heart break when Din sat up with tears in his eyes. "I don't know... I'm sorry, t-they just started coming," Din croaked trying to wipe his eyes.

Boba reached to stroke his cheek wiping the tears away with his thumb, "Are you sure? You can talk to me, my love." Din smiled weakly leaning into his touch, "No, I'm fine really. I don't know what happened." Boba purred deeply still seeing the distress from his omega. But if Din is saying he's fine then there was nothing for him to do.

The alpha nodded softly pulling him into a tight embrace.

"Huh," Cobb leaned back against the chair. Din just bursting into tears was definitely something he'd never thought he'd hear. Din was one of the strongest people he knew.

"Then he really was just fine after, had no trouble falling right to sleep," Boba finished shrugging his shoulders. They sat quietly trying to piece together this puzzle, the evidence was beginning to stack but they still couldn't think of what could be going on.

"So, he gets nauseous around coffee, chest sensitivity, increased appetite and cravings, mood swings, more protective of his nest..." Luke muttered. His eyes widened, hearing the symptoms out loud together hit them like a truck.

"He's pregnant."

"You simps are just realizing that," Fennec smirked softly as she poured herself a glass of orange juice, "Looks like Din's obliviousness rubs off- Hey!" Luke smiled brightly pulling her into a crushing hug. His heart raced and the smile wouldn't leave his face, "We're going to have pups!"

Luke's excitement was infectious, Cobb couldn't help the grin tugging at his lips too, "Alright Luke, you're going to wake them up." Boba chewed his lip softly, "Do you think Din realizes?"

"You're talking about Din. He probably wouldn't notice until four months in," Fennec peeled Luke off of her taking a sip of her orange juice, "You probably want to lay it on him gently."

Cobb hummed glancing over at Boba who returned his gaze. They were just as excited as Luke don't get them wrong. It wasn't planned but they also weren't doing anything to prevent it from happening. That being said Din is different from other omegas, he was probably never taught what it's going to be like for him. And the last thing they wanted to do was scare him.

It also meant Luke was going to lay it on way too strong. They needed to find a way to calm the youngest down before they told him. Cobb took a deep breath leaning toward Boba, "How are we going to tell Din?"

"Tell me what?"

Din yawned running his fingers through his fluffy bed hair. Shit. "Luke! hold on-" Boba tried to stop him but it was too late. The blond alpha showed his weirdly incredible strength lifting Din into the air and spinning him around. Din yelped holding onto Luke tightly, "What are you-!"

"We're going to have the most beautiful pups!" Luke smiled brightly placing Din down. He dropped to his knees wrapping his arms around Din's middle nuzzling his cheek into his stomach.

"We're going to what?!" Din looked up at Cobb and Boba who wanted this to go very differently. They could already see the fear creep into Din's face. Boba got up pulling Luke off of him no matter how much he complained, he placed his hand on Din's cheek gently, stroking it with his thumb.

"Hey relax, you're going to be just fine," he spoke softly, Din's nervous eyes locking with his. "It's only if you want to do this darlin'," Cobb lifted Luke off of the ground. Luke's face flushed a soft pink as he stood up, he was so excited he didn't think of how Din might feel.

"No no, of course, I do! I just-... I don't know what's going to happen," Din clutched his shirt over his stomach. He felt like he was going to be sick. He didn't know the first thing about any of this, he didn't expect he'd be doing any of this in the first place. Honestly, he thought he was past his prime.

"That's why we're here to help you. You not going to be alone, my love," Boba smiled softly pressing his forehead against Din's before pulling away. Cobb and Luke both kissed him gently giving his arms reassuring grips. "You're going to do great baby," Din blushed deeply as Luke whispered into his ear stroking his side.

"I love you," Din smiled softly as they all pull him into a group hug.

"We love you too."

*BONUS REACTIONS*

"Wine?" Omera asked handing Din a glass.

Din perked up waving it away, "Not this time. Thank you."

"Oh?" Omera smirked softly setting the glass down before sipping from her own, "You have something planned after this?" Din blushed softly as she sat down at the other end of the couch, "No," he fidgeted pulling something from his pockets, "I actually wanted to talk to you about these."

Omera gasped nearly dropping her glass, "Din!" She took the ultrasound pictures from his hand; she gushed placing her glass on the table. "Oh my god, I'm so happy for you! I bet Luke is over the moon," She smiled brightly. "He is," Din smiled rubbing at the back of his neck.

"Oh! Give me a hug!" Omera bounced up pulling Din into a tight embrace, "This is so exciting!" Din laughed softly as she rocked them side to side.

"Alright looks like she's ready to go," Peli rolled from under his truck wiping the grease from her hands. "I'd just take it easy the first few times, she's gotta get used to the new belt."

Din hummed softly resting his hands on his hips, "I might have to get something different either way. I'm not sure I can fit two car seats in that thing." Peli grunted getting up from the ground, "Two car seats? What do you need-"

Din smiled as the towel dropped from her hands. "No, you're not." Peli squinted her eyes at him. "I am," He chuckled softly as she jumped a mile into the air.

"Oh Din!" She squealed dancing in a circle, "I'm just going to eat the little guy up when it gets here!" Peli came up and spoke to his stomach, "You hear that auntie Peli is going to snatch you up and never give you back."

"-Yeah he's been doing good in school. The teachers love him of course," Din hummed looking out at the mountains in the distance. He leaned against the rail of his porch, it was nice outside, he might bring Grogu out here after he's done with his phone call.

"That's good, I'm not gonna lie I was a little worried," Paz chuckled softly on the other side of the line. Din huffed a smirk tugging at his lips, "Yeah me too... but I think he's going to be a good example for his little sibling."

Din's smile slowly grew as a silence rang through the phone. It wasn't often he made Paz speechless.

"His what?"

"Little sibling," Din repeated, "I'm expecting Paz..." Another silence spread through them, Din was tempted to say something but Paz finally said something. "Sorry I just bought a ticket for the next flight."

"Paz!"

"I don't want to hear anything from you. I just hope you know your boys are about to experience hell."

Chapter 13: The Preparation

Chapter Text

He wasn't listening to anything Din read to him. He couldn't when he looked like that

Cobb took a deep breath, his leg bounced under his desk as he tried so very hard to hear what he was saying. But his voice when through one ear and out the other as his eyes traced the gentle curve in his stomach. Din was five months in and fuck did he look good.

The most romanticized month of pregnancy. The glow, the tummy, the movement, Din had it all. Cobb could barely contain himself around Din, he wanted to touch him and tell him how wonderful he looked. How thankful he was that Din worked so hard to carry their pups.

Cobb was going to be devastated when Din eventually had to stay home as he got closer to his date. He was going to miss spending the day with him, keeping him safe. His uniform wasn't going to fit him much longer, he had to beat back a purr growing in his chest just thinking about it.

"Cobb, were you even listening?"

Cobb perked up, blinking away the glaze over his eyes, "Yes, darlin'. Of course, I was."

"What was the last thing I said?"

A grin slowly grew on Cobb's face as he looked up at Din, "Alright, I may have not been listening that hard." Din rolled his eyes as Cobb got up from his desk, "What are you going to do when I'm not here?"

The alpha purred deeply as he wrapped his arms around Din from behind, "That's exactly what I was thinking about." Cobb kissed his neck above the collar of his shirt, his hand resting against the curve of Din's stomach. His scent was fresh and sharp, if he focused he could pick up the dull scent of their growing pup.

"You only have a couple months to figure it out," Din hummed leaning back against him.

"Only a week," Cobb purred quietly into his skin. His front felt cold as Din pulled from his grip, he frowned at him like Cobb knew he would.

"What do you mean a week?"

Cobb sighed softly his hand coming to Din's stomach again his thumb gently stroking against it, "I'm putting you on leave early Din. I don't know what I'd- we'd do if something happened to you. Even if it was an accident."

"Cobb. I'm fine I can work. I still have four months left," Din crossed his arms over his chest. Cobb hummed softly pushing Din's hair behind his ear. His hair was growing much faster than usual, the loose curls framing his pretty little face. He was beautiful even when he was upset with him.

"I know, and each month- each week you're going to get bigger. I've already talked about it with Luke and Boba, we want to keep you safe," Cobb explained gently.

"But you didn't ask me?"

"Din please darlin'. You're making this harder than it already is," Cobb grabbed his hand placing a kiss on his wrist, "It's okay to relax, and knowing you, you'll probably find something to keep you busy."

Din sighed softly as Cobb kissed him tenderly. The alpha caressed his cheek as he pulled away, he leaned into the touch the sour thoughts leaving his mind. He was right, he still had so many things to prepare at home- at Boba's home. They were going to be staying there for a while after the pups were born, it was big enough to house them all and closest to Grogu's school.

"Fine... Just be careful when I'm gone," Din looked after him with his deep brown eyes, Cobb felt his heart flutter as he kissed him again. "When am I not darlin'?"

Din smirked softly, he could answer that question in a hundred different ways but he didn't get a chance as Cobb felt a small movement against his hand. "Looks like someone's awake," Cobb smiled softly dropping to his knees, "Don't worry kid, I'm sending your dad home so you can take all the naps you want."

It was weird being home without Grogu there. Most parents would enjoy the time but Din didn't exactly know what to do with himself just yet. He found himself counting the hours until he could pick up Grogu from school because it also meant Boba was done for the day as well. They needed to do some shopping after the toddler got out so Boba stayed in the car while Din got Grogu.

"Hey kid, did you have a good day?" Din smiled softly as Grogu ran up to him. He clung to his leg nodding softly.

"Grogu is perfect like usual," his teacher smiled, "He's spectacular at reading. I'm impressed."

"Huh, looks like someone's been holding out on me," Din grunted softly picking Grogu up, his teacher leaned forward hesitantly but he waved them off. "Thank you for working with him, really. He's been through a lot." Grogu rested his head on Din's shoulder, he must have been a little worn out today.

"Of course! I don't think I'll ever forget little Grogu," they smiled, "and congratulations! You look amazing, your alpha is quite lucky." They flare their scent slightly.

Din blushed softly gripping onto Grogu, "Thank you I-"

"Is everything alright?" Boba intruded wrapping his arm around Din's waist. His scent was sharp, it made Grogu and Grogu's teacher cringe slightly. I guess he felt they were taking too long. Din took a deep breath, he had to bite his tongue to keep his tone in check, at least for right now, "Yes, we were just talking about Grogu. We'll see you next week."

Din turned sharply walking back to the truck. Yes, the protection was endearing but he didn't need it. He could deal with being put on leave but when it came to everyday interactions especially if they start affecting Grogu, that was crossing a line.

"Din..."

"Boba, I already let you guys talk me out of going to work. But that was unbelievable, they are Grogu's teacher," Din huffed pulling the car door open.

"They were flirting with you, Din."

"-I'm not helpless, and I will not be treated like I'm fragile so, you, Cobb, and Luke need to control-"

"Din. Will you look at me please?"

Din took a deep breath turning to face Boba, the alpha's solumn face shattering his frustration. "I deeply apologize, my love," Boba tried to reach out to him but Grogu gripped onto Din. A squeaky growl emanated from the toddler which made Boba draw back.

Din hummed softly kissing the top of Grogu's head. Unfortunately, his alphas weren't the only ones who became more protective but he could never be mad at Grogu. "It's okay Grogu give us a second, okay?" Din hushed him gently before placing him into his car seat. Boba waited until he closed the car door before he continued.

"It's just hard to allow wandering eyes to gaze upon you. You're too pretty, they may try to take you away," Boba stepped forward placing his hands on either side of his belly. Din sighed softly pressing their foreheads together, he stroked Boba's cheek gently,

"I'm not going anywhere... and just because I'm pretty doesn't mean I'm delicate."

Boba chuckled deeply, "Oh I know." Din smirked softly before kissing the other's lips, Boba pulled him as flush to him as he could. "I'll try harder to hold my tongue, my love. I promise," Boba pressed another quick kiss onto his lips.

"Good, cause we still have to go to the store," Din pulled away slowly patting Boba's cheek. There were going to be a lot more eyes there than at a school.

Din winced rubbing his back as he pushed the shopping cart, "My back is killing me."

"We can run you a bath when we get home" Boba hummed softly as he placed a pack of lunch snacks into the basket. Din purred deeply just thinking about it, the warm water against his-

"Oh look at these," Din picked up a set of baby onesies. One black and one white with little yellow stars on them, it was adorable. "Get them, I know Luke will like those too," Boba smiled softly before walking a bit ahead.

"What do you think Grogu? Are you excited to have a little brother or sister?" Din smiled softly looking down at the toddler. He, himself, didn't know for sure after the first couple of appointments he wanted the rest to be a surprise. When he did go for check-ups he asked the doctor to be vague as possible and refused to look at the ultrasound screen.

Grogu hummed twisting his shirt through his fingers, he didn't look back at him. Din pulled  the shopping cart to a holt which caught Boba by surprise. The alpha turned around to join them, "What's the matter?"

"What is the matter Grogu?" Din cupped the toddler's cheek. He knew it had been just him and Grogu for a while so, Din thought Grogu might like having siblings more of his age to play with. It always did make his heart ache a little seeing the kid play by himself.

"You're going to forget about me," Grogu sniffled, his eyes welled up with tears. "Oh, Grogu... I would never, " Din lifted the toddler out of the cart and into his arms, "It's okay I'm right here." Boba rested his hand against Din's back, "You have all of us here for you Grogu. When Din's busy you can come to any of us."

The kid cried into his shoulder. Din didn't know what to say. He didn't expect this from Grogu, the kid usually got along with everyone he met. Din held him close until he calmed down. The toddler eventually did Boba rubbed his back gently.

"Hey, I'll make a promise," Din pressed a kiss onto Grogu's head, "After they're born every Sunday is just me and you okay? Would you like that Grogu?" The toddler pushed himself up Din gently wiped the tears from his face. "Okay," he murmured hugging Din tightly.

Din smiled bouncing him gently, "I'm sure you guys can handle a pup for one day." He looked over at Boba who rubbed at the back of his neck. "Of course, we can," Boba reassured him though his confidence wasn't all the way there. Din knew they could even if it was Luke telling them what to do, but Grogu needed this and he was probably going to need it too.

The night was void of its usual quiet conversation and noise. Aside from the sound of running water, it was silent. Din couldn't decide if he enjoyed it as much as he did before.

He sighed softly splashing water on his face. It was nice for clearing his head, he had to admit all of this was quite the adjustment. Thinking about how this all started, they came here just him and Grogu. He'd never thought of any of this being a reality for him. Having one partner let alone three wasn't something he thought he was destined for. But he could say the same about Grogu and having kids in general but things kind of just fall into his hands.

Grabbing the towel Din wiped his face. He didn't regret any of it. It was honestly naive to think he would be alone all of his life. He thought that was what he wanted, he never wanted to go through losing someone again but he found not having someone to lean on was worse.

The silent nights at home were worse.

Din wiped the steam from his mirror, he flinched noticing a figure standing in his doorway. "Luke, when did you get here?"

The alpha smiled softly as he admired him through the mirror, "A couple minutes ago, but you looked like you were deep in thought. I didn't want to interrupt." Din hummed softly as Luke came closer his fingers tracing patterns into his back.

"Are you alright?" His blue eyes dragged over his frame, his head tilted slightly, "They're not giving you any trouble are they?" As if on cue Din felt a small flutter in his stomach, he huffed softly a smile pulling on his lips, "Now they are.

Luke chuckled, kissing him while his hand came to rest on his stomach. Din moaned into his mouth his hands getting tangled through his blonde hair. Luke panted softly as he pulled away, "Seems like they weren't the only ones who missed me."

He pushed Din's hair behind his ear stroking his cheek gently, "Are you really okay?"

Din closed his eyes leaning into his touch. The silence no longer held his mind, he just needed his touch, his words. "I just need you here," Din sighed softly. He held Luke's wrist pressing his lips onto his palm.

"I'm here for as long as you need me," Luke smiled sweetly his blue eyes bright as he looked up at him.

Din led him to his bed. Luke curling up flush against his side, Din laid on his back for the last couple weeks he could. The moonlight shined through the shuttered blinds of his window. Luke rubbed his stomach gently his head resting against his shoulder.

"Have you thought of names yet?" Luke kissed his neck tenderly. Din chuckled softly holding him closer, "No"

Chapter Text

"I can't take this anymore-"

"Jesus christ Cobb we just got out of the hospital last week," Luke stood up after him. He growled softly grabbing the sheriff's arm.

"Those are our kids! I want to see them," Cobb yanked away flashing his teeth at the younger. "We all want to! But Din is not in the state to share them with us. You have to be patient or you could mess this up for all of us," Luke shoved him back. His skin prickled with the need to protect his omega and pups from harm.

Boba stepped in before this could degrade any further, "You both are going to have to leave if you can't keep it together. It shouldn't take much longer."

Cobb tsk'd turning to make his way to Din's room. Luke perked up trying to get around Boba, "Boba! You just going to let him-" Boba hushed him grabbing his wrist, "He isn't going to make it far. Let's hope we won't have to make another trip to the hospital."

The sheriff clenched his fist as he turned towards the door. He didn't get a chance to knock before a large figure opened it. Cobb only caught a glimpse of Din and how he cradled their twins in his nest. He was breath-taking, Grogu leaned against his lap intrigued by his new siblings. The sunlight shined through the loose curls of his hair and a gentle smile spread across his face.

Then it was gone.

"What do you think you're doing here?" Paz growled deeply closing the door behind him. He bared his teeth looking down at the alpha. Cobb swallowed thickly not backing down, "I want to see them."

"If you want to have your throat torn out then be my guest," Paz rumbled shoving Cobb into the wall behind him. His forearm slammed against the wall beside his head, "But you'll have to get through me first, Alpha."

The sheriff met his eyes grinding his teeth. It was natural, for some time after the birth of a pup omegas became impossible protective of them. Even if they themselves didn't have one they fed off of each other, the scent of a new pup and parent caused the firing of hormones. For the whole week, Paz was the only one who was allowed contact with Din and their children.

Cobb hoped Boba was right. He sighed softly standing down and Paz backed off of him crossing his arms over his chest. "Be patient. Din will allow you to see them soon enough."

He huffed, licking his wounds he made his way back to the main room plopping back onto the couch. Boba hummed placing his paperwork aside, "Got to see what you wanted?"

Cobb growled softly scrubbing his face, "Of course, I didn't."

"You're lucky you didn't get folded into a pretzel. You would never get to see them then," Luke rolled his eyes.

Cobb's leg bounced as his eyes drilled into the wall. The clock on the wall ticked loudly in his ear.

It was another week before they could approach Paz without experiencing instinctual aggression. And about half a week later Paz approached them instead with some news.

"Din is ready for you to see them, but I'd still be cautious about how you surround him. He's still a bit jumpy," Paz led them down the hall, he held two bottles of formula in his hand. Luke led the pack, Cobb was practically on top of him trying to get to Din as well. Boba found himself again being the calming presence as Paz waited on them to collect themselves.

"Dads!" Grogu jumped up as the door opened. Din perked up smiling softly as they hesitantly entered the room. The twins slept peacefully in his arms.

"I missed you," Din watched them closely as they took a seat on the couch across from the bed. "We missed you too," Luke sighed deeply. Din looked fantastic, no one could have guessed that he had just given life to the two beautiful angels in his hands.

Grogu climbed out of Din's bed and placed himself in Boba's lap. Boba chuckled deeply smothering the toddler, "We missed you too little buddy." Din smiled softly he got up taking careful steps towards Luke and Cobb.

"Careful, they're light sleepers," He spoke quietly as he handed Luke Auden and Cobb Ada. Luke smiled holding the tiny baby in his arms. He had Din and Boba's dark hair; Luke bent down kissing this head gently. Din straightened as Auden shifted in his sleep but ultimately settled against Luke's chest.

Ada had nearly platinum blonde hair, she was a little paler than her brother, and she also had Din's little dimples. "They're perfect..." Cobb whispered holding Ada's little hand.

Boba ran his fingers through Din's hair, "You amaze me every day." Din blushed softly leaning into his to touch, "It wasn't just me... I couldn't have done it without you."

Auden shifted in Luke's arms again, his arms stretched out before his bright eyes cracked open. His eyes were deep brown like Din's, they looked up at Luke unsure of what to make of him. "Hi baby," Luke cooed lifting him closer. Din melted watching them interact, it made every tense moment and discomfort worth it.

Ada still slept peacefully, Din lifted a finger stroking it against her chubby cheeks. "She has your eyes Luke," Din hummed softly. Both of them were quite unique, he couldn't wait to watch them grow.

Cobb bent forward kissing Din softly, "I love you so much." He smiled against his lips before pulling away.

"You truly were the one for us from the beginning," Boba kissed Din deeply. Din moaned into his mouth his hand coming up to hold Boba's cheek.

Din chuckled softly when they finally parted, Grogu looked up at both of them with his nose scrunched up. "I couldn't ask for better alphas or better children," He ruffled Grogu's hair.

"Geez Din, you're going to make me tear up," Luke kissed his cheek.  "I'm serious, Din smiled, "I love you."

"We love you too."
