Part 6: Oh bubblegum, you look like a lot of fun
(The shot is cut into a split-screen to show Simon and Grace. On the side of the split with Grace, the background dulls around her, as a sparkling filter covers the screen. On Simon's side, hearts flutter around him as he looks at her with adoration)
Part 7: I'm right outside, and that is how I know
(The shot cuts to Tuba dangling off the edge of the train, looking up at Simon with hope, with only Simon's lower body in view as his shadow looms over Tuba. Her face morphs into horror as his foot stomps down on her hand)
Part 8: Hey princess, did you get my text?
(The shot cuts to Simon walking into the Campfire car, bragging about how he's killed Tuba. Grace is still 'filtered', with sparkles around her)

Part 12: Oh bubblegum, I really need someone
(The shot cuts to show Grace comforting a distraught Hazel in the Canyon car cave. The shot zooms out to show a troubled Simon outside. At the end, he walks out of frame)
Part 13: Or anyone, pretty much anyone
(The shot cuts to Simon and Samantha staring each other down before she relents and gives Simon the memory reading device)
Part 14: I'm so alone!
(Simon watches the memory of Grace telling Hazel to keep a secret from Simon, tears falling down his face in shock and grief)
Part 15: Won't somebody tell me what's wrong with me?
(Simon says this line as he stands against a blank background, at first very aggressively, with his arm swinging to the side, as if trying to hit something. The place that he hits becomes TV static. His body language droops after that, becoming more depressed)
Part 16: Anybody? Anybody? Anybody…
(As Simon drops down a little, the shot reveals that Grace was behind him, TV static starting to overtake her body gradually. She reaches for him, looking sad, but he shakes her off, and walks away, as the environment gradually turns to TV static)
Part 17: ( Instrumental)
(The shot cuts to show Grace comforting Simon shortly after she rescued him. As she gives the tearful boy a kind but cocky smile, the shot abruptly cuts to show Grace in the comatose form she was trapped in when the memory device was used on her. Simon looks coldly at her, before tipping her over and walking out of frame, leaving Grace behind)
