Summary
After refusing to face his father in an Agni Kai, Zuko was burned and Ozai determined his rebellious Omega son would need to be married to teach him an Omega’s proper place. But Iroh, working to protect his nephew, managed to at least ensure Zuko would be wed to an Alpha who would never take advantage of an Omega, and certainly not a child: Piandao.
Time passed, the Avatar rose, and Ozai was defeated. Zuko returned to Caldera to learn how to lead, and Piandao remained in Shu Jing, only to reunite to legally separate.
Zuko became the Fire Lord officially seven years ago, but now at 25 the Fire Nation nobility is putting pressure on him to find a mate. Zuko is determined never to allow an Alpha rule over him, nor does he believe in marriage. But an heir must be had, and even Uncle Iroh seems to be running out of patience.
But Zuko only ever wished for the heart of one man. Knowing he never would have that, he determined he would also never give out his own.
