Chapter Text
Julian grabs Jett by the throat and starts strangling him, but Jett grabs back as they choke each other out. “YOU CAN NEVER BEAT ME, JUJU!!!!!”
“I CAN AND WILL!” Julian knees Jett in the balls and knocks him to the ground. Julian pulls out his dagger and holds it to Jett’s throat.
Jett looks up into Julian’s eyes.
Julian tears up. “God damn you, Jett…why would you make me do this?!?!”
“I’m sorry, Julian, for all of it……I was scared……I did awful things…worst of all, I hurt you.” Jett stands up and caresses Julian’s cheek.
Julian pulls Jett into a passionate kiss, feeling up his chest, feeling no armor plate. Julian closes his eyes and drives his dagger into Jett’s heart.
Jett feels the blade pierce his heart and he smiles. “Thank you, Juju.” Jett falls to the ground.
Julian breaks down crying. “Jett, it didn’t have to be this way……I am sorry for all of it.”
Jett nods. “Juju……you didn’t kill Jett Klyne……I did.” Jett coughs up blood. “You have avenged me and set me free……Juju……I love you and I always will……goodnight.” Jett breathes his last breath.
Julian kneels beside Jett and drives the dagger into his brain. “Rest easy, Jett, may we meet again someday.”
Gabe was still dodging Avery’s bullets left right and center, not missing a beat.
Avery screamed, charging at Gabe with full force.
Wanna jumps in out of nowhere double roundhouse kicking his throat!
Avery stumbles backwards into Ben, who drives a dagger into his back. Avery screams, punching Ben in the face.
Gabe runs up to Avery and slices his right hand off. “Surrender, Esteves, and you don’t have to die today.”
Avery shakes his head. “I will live and die a Cyclone………FOR ZACKARY!!!!” Avery jumps and charges at Gabe.
Ben pulls out his pistol and shoots Avery in the head, killing him dead. Gabe gives him a bro hug and then he looks at Wanna. Wanna smiles. “I know Macsen would be proud.”
“Yeah, he would……he would also want me to move on……” Ben pulls Wanna into a passionate kiss.
Wanna kisses him back.
Very few Cyclones remained. Sawyer and Hayden took down one.
Walker and Stefan worked together to disembowel another one!
Bash wiped the blood off his face after killing one. “That was for Kit, bitch!”
Malachi straight up snaps a neck. “THAT WAS FOR NICKY!!!”
The Cyclones were dropping one by one and Zack watched on in terror. “My men, my armies.”
“They are all dead, Zack, you are all that remains.” Parker said.
Zack screams and jumps on Maxwell, starting to beat the shit out of him again.
Maxwell fights back and the two of them go rolling down a massive snow-covered hill into a snow drift.
Preston, Parker, Tait and Kiefer go running after them.
Zack jumps out of that snow drift and howls like a fucking werewolf!
Maxwell swings his macheted hand in Zackary’s direction. But Zack grabs it with his bare hands and he bends the blade!!! “YOU WILL NEVER BEAT ME!!!” Zackary punches Maxwell square in the jaw.
Maxwell stumbles back.
“It’s over for you, my friend……know this, your death will assure my forever dominance!!!!”
Maxwell screams and jumps, managing to tackle Zack to the ground. Zack was still stronger in brute force than Maxwell, but Max has the will to fight on and so that he does.
“GIVE UP, BITCH, THIS IS USELESS!!!”
“I won’t ever give you that satisfaction.”
Preston unloads several arrows in Zackary’s direction but none even faze him.
Zack grabs one of the arrows and goes to stab Maxwell in the heart with it! But Maxwell is able to hold him off for a moment, long enough for Parker to shoot a bullet into Zack’s hand, causing him to drop the arrow.
“FUCKING TRAITOR, I WILL DEAL WITH YOU NEXT, BATES!!!” Zackary grabs Maxwell by the throat and lifts him up. “DIE NOW!!!!”
Maxwell manages to knees Zackary in the throat and break free of him. Maxwell does a roll and grabs his dagger. He turns around and severely slices Zackary across the chest and then drives the dagger into his gut!
Zackary gasps. “You……you…”
Parker nods. “Finish him, Jenkins.”
Preston looks at him. “What would Matt say?”
Maxwell looked down at the injured Zackary and then to his left. A light glistened in the snow. Maxwell walked over to the light and there he was, Matt. “Hey babe.”
Maxwell teared up. “Matt, what am I supposed to do here? I have no idea…Zackary deserves death. He killed so many……he took you from me. I am seeing no reason I should let him live.”
Matt rubs Maxwell’s shoulders. “Maxwell Jenkins, you are the best man I have ever known and I feel blessed to have gotten to love you the way I did, but in loving you, I learned who you are, you have many tools in your arsenal but the best one you have is your heart.”
“My heart……it hurts a whole lot in this very moment because I don’t have you.”
“I am here, aren’t I? It will sound cliche, I know, but do what you have always done, make this decision with your heart and I know it will be the right call.”
Maxwell tears up. “I miss you so much, Matt.”
Matt nods. “I know, and someday we'll be together again, but not this day. This Christmas Day, you make a decision.” Matt kisses Maxwell passionately.
Tait and Kiefer look at each other. “Kief……is he making out with the air?”
“I, uh, think he is.”
Maxwell walks over to Zackary. He shoves the dagger in his face and knocks him out. “CONVERY……SAVE HIM……stop the bleeding.”
“WHAT!!!!!!” Parker screamed.
Christopher and Christian run to Zack’s aid and work to save his life.
“Parker, I won’t kill him……what kind of person would that make me?” He looks at Zackary. “It would make me him, he is better left alive left to rot in a cell in Woodbine, he will live out his days as a constant reminder of Justice and Mercy.”
Parker shakes his head. “When this backfires, don’t say I did not warn you.”
Soon After.
Zackary had been handcuffed to a gurney and medically evacuated to Woodbine. The bodies of the fallen were all collected. Forrest Wheeler, Logan Pepper, Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Ayden Mekus, Ky Baldwin, Hudson West, Vincent Webb, Landon Gordon, Jett Klyne, Avery Esteves and all the fallen Cyclones.
“We will bury them…all of them, here in the lands of Hantesa……treat them with the respect they deserve as human beings,” Chief Tremblay said.
They got to work.
December 31st 2025- Woodbine
Zackary wakes up in the medical office handcuffed to the bed. “What the shit!!!” Zackary tried to break free but he was restrained tightly.
“Stop struggling, Zack.” Maxwell and Preston were sitting at the foot of his bed.
“You fucking bitch, you just couldn’t do it, you are such a goody twoshoes, arent you?”
“Your reign of terror has come to an end, Zack, you will spend the rest of your days in a jail cell. You will serve as a reminder that we here at Woodbine are a merciful bunch but if you break the rules, you will be punished……meet your warden.”
Preston smirks. “Shoe is on the other foot now, ain’t it?”
“Fuck.”
Zackary was taken to his new cell of a home and then Preston walked up to Maxwell who was on the wall. “The war has come to an end, brother, but at such a cost.”
“I am so sorry about Landon…about all of it, we look to the future now, you and me. Jefferson has a good idea having a second in command……and it would be foolish for me to have it be anyone but you, Preston.”
Preston smiles. “I will always stand by you, Maxwell……always.”
Maxwell embraces him tightly. “That is why it will be you.” They embrace as the camera pans out over the horizon as the sun sets on the war with the Cyclones and a new era dawns.
