Old Flames Never Fade Away

Chapter 2

Notes:

Just a quick advise that I changed The King In Yellow's powers to something more unique and less cliche and basic than just controlling wind.

Chapter Text

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" You couldn't contain your anger. Clenching your hands so tightly that it looked like your fingers were going to break, and grinding your teeth with extreme hate, you charged your fists with Hamon, wanting nothing more than to slaughter the boy in front of you, while the tears were still streaming from your eyes.

Turning his head to face you, Giorno had a gaze blank, looking more like a corpse. The red eyes, blood on his mouth and fangs shows what he had now become. Lying beside him were the corpses of Narancia, Mista, Abbacchio, Fugo, Trish and Bruno, their skins completely dry and lifeless, with violent bite marks and holes in their chests and necks.

"...Y/N." After the two of you just stared at each other for several seconds, Giorno finally started talking. "I…I don't know. I just felt this... hunger. I couldn't resist..." He looks away at the lifeless bodies of his friends, his family, seeming to momentarily regret the atrocity he committed.

However, that all disappears when Giorno looks back at you, now with a smile exposing even more of his bloodstained vampire fangs. "I... I'm still hungry!"

Giorno rushes toward you, with murderous instinct and bloodlust in his eyes. You didn't hold back and also ran towards him, crying in rage. Giorno tries to attack you first, but you're faster, dodging and landing a Hamon-charged punch into Giovanna's chest.

“Go meet your father in hell, you bastard!” You don't stop with one single punch. Blinded by sadness and anger, you proceed to attack Giorno with a full punch barrage, screaming like a rabid animal all the time. Even when Giorno's body was completely burned by the Hamon, you didn't stop, proceeding to punch a wall in front of you.

Only when the wall is totally destroyed, and that your blood cools a little, you can't stand anymore. Dropping on your knees, all that can be heard for the next minutes are just your desperate cries of sadness, as you hug Bruno's dead body and mourn his death, knowing you couldn't save him.

* * * * * * * *

Waking up gasping a little, you try to get up from the bed, only to be stopped by a weight on your chest. Looking down, you see Bruno sleeping peacefully upon you, making you finally realize that it was a nightmare again. Everything was fine; Bruno was alive and safe and sound.

Sighing heavily, you close your eyes and drop your head back on the pillow, controlling your breathing to calm yourself. You were tired of all these nightmares you've been suffering from more than 20 years. You could only hope that with Bruno back in your life, they would be gone, replaced by more happy memories. But even so, you had little hope on that

After several minutes, you open your eyes again, taking your time to watch the sun pouring in through the window. Honestly, you still were tired as hell, considering you and Bruno spent most of the night... making up for the lost years, but you knew you wouldn't be able to go back to sleep anymore.

Looking at Bruno again, you feel your heart flutter as you look at his angelic face with closed eyes, breathing calmly and totally at peace. Despite what happened now, you can't help but smile because of his extreme beauty.

Moving as carefully as you could, you manage to escape Bruno's grip and get out of bed without waking him. Then you pick up your clothes from the floor, go to the bathroom, and take a quick shower. Once you're done, you get dressed and, using a pair of scissors you found, you trim your beard a little. You had become sloppy with your appearance in the last weeks and allowed your beard to grow a little beyond your chin.

Once you're done, you splash some more water on your face and stare at yourself in the mirror for a while.

"Who was this time? DIO or Giorno?" King appears at your side, immediately placing a hand on your shoulder, being careful not to injure you (and him, by consequence) with his claws.

"Giorno. The same nightmare as always." You confirm. "But I don't want to talk about it."

“If that’s what you want… I’m here if you need me.” King disappears soon after, leaving you only with your thoughts. You already lost count of all the times you had that same nightmare, and it had become worse in the last weeks.

You sigh, trying not to think about that anymore. You leave the bathroom, giving Bruno one last look before heading down to the kitchen to start making breakfast.

"Hey, do you think Bruno will care if I drink some of his wine?" King appears again, immediately looking at the wine bottles in the cellar as you grab some items from the fridge and set them on a bench.

"He isn't like Leone, so you don't need to worry too much." You don't look at your Stand, focused on cutting some bread. “Besides, he isn't an avid drinker, only drinking wine and other drinks at special events. But just as a guarantee, replace the bottle you'll drink.”

"Got it." King picks up one of the bottles, using his portals to replicate and replace it.

Getting up, he pops the cork with his claws and spills some wine directly into his mouth, as that was the only way he could drink, because of his sewn mouth.

Bending over the bench you’re preparing breakfast, King drinks more wine and watches you. “So… It seems ages since I last saw a true and happy smile on your face.”

You look up to stare at your Stand. “All of DIO’s agents are dead... Bruno and I are together again... I can finally see the others after years… I only have reasons to smile.” Immediately when you finish your sentence, your smile disappears from your face. King could guess what it was. “Well… more or less. I still have Giorno’s situation to handle. I’ll deal with that kid at the proper time.”

“Just letting you know that, if he tries anything against you, it will be the last thing he does in his life." King says in a colder way, making you stop what you were doing and look at him.

You sigh. "You know we don't stand a chance against Gold Experience Requiem, right? We would deliver a good fight, but defeat him? No fucking way...”

“Being the strongest doesn’t mean being invincible, Y/N.” King would cross his arms if he didn't have a bottle on his hand now. “A good strategy outsmarts anyone. Just remember how during their younger days, Joseph and Caesar defeated that Kars guy? You know, the supreme life form and practically a God...”

“Yeah, but you're forgetting the fact that they defeated Kars only by sheer fucking luck!” You yell. “Accept it, our chances of defeating G.E.R are next to impossible. Only if I evolved you to a Requiem Stand as well, or went even further and used the knowledge from DIO’s Diary to ‘achieve Heaven’… Only with that, we could have a real chance.”

Your words make King remain silent, thoughtful as he finishes the wine from the bottle. The two of you stay in that situation, until you just sigh again.

"That's also something that worries me, you know? Giorno having all this power, and practically no weaknesses..." You comment with a kind of wistful voice and a sad look on your face, making King look curiously at you. "He's our ally and a good person, but will that last? People change for the worse and get corrupted all the time. Your best friend today can be your biggest and deadliest enemy tomorrow. No one deserves so much power in their hands. Not Giorno, me… No one."

King can feel your doubts and even fear. But before he can do anything, you just shake your head and focus on forgetting about it. Silence reigns over the two of you for a while, only to end when King grunts loudly.

“This silence is killing me! Here, let me help you.” King tosses the empty bottle into the trash can and moves to your side, immediately trying to grab something from the bench, only to be stopped by you slapping his hand.

“Ah, ah, ah… Wash your claws first!” All King can do is look at you with an expression like 'Really?' before sighing and doing what you told him. He helps you with all that is still needed to be done, so it doesn't take long to get everything ready.

You think about having a cigarette while you wait for Bruno to wake up and come downstairs to eat, but you fight the urge, wondering if it was a good idea. But before you can let go, you feel something strange. Over the years, you had trained your senses to near perfection, which had paid off in the end. It was near to impossible for someone to take you by surprise, as you could “feel their presences”, as to speak.

And a strange presence was just what you felt. There was an intruder in Bruno's house and he was getting ready to attack you.

"Zoom Punch!" You didn't even think twice. Hearing the Intruder proceeding to attack you, you're faster and quickly turned around, surprising the intruder when you stretched your arm and slammed a Hamon-charged fist right into his face, sending him flying backwards, most certainly with his nose broken. Your physical strength, together with your Hamon, was quite big, being compared to some stronger-than-humans Stands. You still remember the day you broke Abbacchio’s nose with one single headbutt when you had enough with his aggression and distrust towards you and Giorno.

"King!" You shouted to your Stand, which already knew exactly what you wanted to do. Appearing at your side, King quickly uses his powers and creates a portal at your side and another one right below the intruder, making him being transported to your reach and making it possible for you to grab the intruder by his neck, choking and lifting him off the ground with just one hand, ready to break his neck.

"Any last words?” Taking a better look at the intruder, you finally realize that he was a thinly built man, no more than 20 years old. He had white hair and flashy, extravagant clothes. The man in question surprised you when he summoned a Stand to try to attack you, but King quickly attacked and immobilized the Stand.

At this exact moment you hear the familiar noise of a zipper, making you turn around to see Bruno descending from the bedroom through a hole he created with his Stand. He was wearing only pants and had a determined, slightly worried expression on his face, ready for combat. Sticky Fingers was next to him, and that was the first time you saw Bruno's Stand. You could tell it really suited him, as it was as beautiful as him.

"Y/N! Are you…" Bruno stops talking the moment he recognizes the man you were holding by the neck. "Kale O?"

You look at Bruno while lifting one eyebrow. "You know this kid?"

Bruno nods. "He's a member of Passione, assigned as my personal bodyguard a few weeks ago. You can let him go, Y/N."

You immediately raise both eyebrows, lowering Kale O to the ground soon after and taking the opportunity to use your Hamon to soothe the pain in his throat and heal his broken nose. "Be more careful next time, kid. I was about to break your neck."

Bruno glances at you, before shifting his attention to Kale O. "He's right, Kale. What are you doing here? I made it very clear yesterday that I wanted to be alone and not be disturbed."

Kale O first put a hand down his throat and nose, wondering what that power you used to heal him was. Soon after, he turned his attention to Bruno.

"I beg your pardon, Signor Bucciarati. But after you sir didn't show up at the mansion this morning, I got worried and decided to come check on you. When I got here, I saw this strange man in your house and I decided to go in to investigate, afraid you had been attacked."

You cross your arms as you look and smile a little at Kale O. "So instead of waiting and investigating further, you decided to attack and not ask questions... Story of my life."

Bruno looks at you for a moment, sighing inwardly, but also happy that your personality hasn't changed much in these 9 years. As erratic and impulsive you were, you still had a good heart, even better than Bruno himself in some aspects.

Turning his attention back to Kale O again, Bruno became confused by something he said.

"Wait… I lost this morning's meeting? What time is it?"

You quickly check your phone, surprised to see the time. "It's almost 11 am..."

Bruno's eyes widened, startled that it's already so late. He was supposed to be present at the mansion at 8 am. Calming inwardly, Bucciarati closes his eyes and sighs. "I see. Well, I'll get dressed quickly and I'll be right away. Wait outside, Kale."

Kale O was still curious about who you were, but that would have to wait. He respectfully nods at Bruno and turns to leave. "Si signore."

As soon as Kale O leaves the house, Bruno drops his serious facade and smiles a little at this situation as he looks at you. "I hate being late for anything, but this time I don't have any regrets."

"You had a good excuse." You give Bruno a naughty smile. It's only now that he finally notices your trimmed and better-kept beard.

Surprising you, Bruno reaches out and strokes your beard a little. "You know very well my opinion on beards, but I can make an exception to yours." he says, smiling. "I'd be lying if I didn't say this beard didn't make you even more handsome."

You laugh a little. "I know. And I'm glad you liked it, because if we're really going to continue our relationship for real, my beard stays. No talk."

Bruno laughs a little, still stroking your beard "Very well...."

You smile. "Now go take a quick shower and come back to eat. Then we can go."

The Italian is slightly surprised by your words. "Will you come with me?"

"I told you we weren't going to be apart anymore, Mio Angelo.” You nod. “Also, I want to see the others again, especially Narancia and Jean." You smile, before sighing a little. "Besides… they deserve to know the truth. Even Giorno when he gets back.”

Bruno's smile fades a little when he hears your words. That still had to be solved.

"I don't need to tell you how strong I know you are, Y/N - even more than myself. But you've kept all those traumas involving DIO inside you for years, and that's not healthy. Promise me that you will seek help as soon as you can. Don't think I'm seeing you as weak, it's just that I want the best for you, amore mio."

"You think I don’t know that? But you’re right." You comment, taking his hands on yours. "I would go through hell for you, which basically I already did. But anyway... I promise. I’ll contact Speedwagon Foundation later and see if they can help me. They always do.”

Bruno smiles at your words. You then think about and decide to take this chance to do something. Reaching into your pocket, you take out your pack of cigarettes and your lighter, handing them to Bruno.

Bucciarati is confused by this, looking at you for answers. You just sigh. "As we're making promises to each other, promise me that you'll keep those things as far away from me as possible."

Bruno was still confused by this. "What is this? Have you started smoking?" he asks in a slightly scolding tone.

You nod in confirmation. "These 9 years were very stressful, and I needed something to relieve the stress. Jotaro didn't help much, either. Besides damaging my lungs and my Hamon, I have no reason to continue smoking, now that we're together again." You look at Bruno seriously again. "Just promise that you'll keep this as far away from me as possible, and that you'll keep an eye out if I have a relapse."

Bruno could hear the seriousness in your voice, along with the look in your eyes. "I promise." He then takes out the lighter and the cigarettes, already thinking of a way to get rid of them later.

"You did well, Y/N." Out of nowhere, King appears beside you and Bruno, looking a little relieved. "You know I never liked that you started smoking. Because… well, if you die, I will die too."

Now you didn't contain your laugh. "King, please - never change."

* * * * * * * *

Sitting together in the back of a limousine, you would normally take this moment to tease Bruno. But this time the two of you just enjoyed the combination of silence and each other's company after all this time.

The way to the mansion didn't take long, and soon you and Bruno were passing through its enormous gates. Looking out the window, you can get a good look at the place. The main structure was pretty much the same as it was 9 years ago, with the only real difference being the garden, which was much bigger and even more alive with numerous plants and animals such as birds and a few others.

"Golden boy sure has been busy these last few years." You comment, calling Bruno's attention for using the nickname you gave Giorno when you met him. He interpreted that as a good sign.

"You know how much Giorno cares about his garden. Whenever he has free time, he spends most of it there."

You let out a dry laugh. "I'll never stop finding it ironic. DIO’s son creating life…”

Bruno looks worriedly at you, but before he can say anything, the limo stops right in front of the mansion's doors and you can see Kale O getting out of the front seat and coming to open the door.

"Here we go..." You mutter before the door opens and you and Bruno get out of the car.

Outside, Kale O and more guards were already waiting to escort Bruno around the mansion. By now, your boyfriend had already taken on his more professional and serious facade, which honestly could almost be felt in the air. But who really caught the attention of everyone there and attracted countless looks was you. Your appearance, and the fact you’re tall as hell even scared some members of Passione.

"Signor Bucciarati, I must inform you that Miss Trish Una arrived at the mansion early. She is meeting with the others in your office." Kale O commented, surprising Bruno and making you widen your eyes and smile with joy.

"Trish is here too?! This day just keeps getting better!" You scream, not caring that you are surrounded by people and that you are attracting unnecessary attention.

Bucciarati gave a small, but imperceptible smile as he saw your joy. He then turns his attention back to Kale O and the guards next to you. "Thanks Kale. You and the others are dismissed for now. Let us go, Y/N."

Bruno didn't have to tell you twice for you to follow him through the halls of the mansion to his office. Along the way, you once again caught the attention of countless Passione members, not only because of your appearance, but also because you were a complete stranger to most of them, who was accompanying one of the highest ranking members of the organization, and their temporary boss.

Meanwhile, in Bruno's office, his gang members were relaxed, minding their own business. Abbacchio was, as usual, listening to music on his headphones while reading a magazine, Mista was being disturbed by the Pistols, Narancia and Trish were talking to Polnareff, and Fugo was typing something into his phone, totally focused.

When the double doors to the office opened, however, they all looked at them and saw Bruno walking in, followed closely by you.

"I apologize for my delay. I can assure it won't happen again." Bruno's words, however, fell on deaf ears as everyone there looked at you, surprised and some widened their eyes when they recognized you.

"No way... Y/N...?" Narancia was the first to speak, an expression of total shock on his face.

You smiled, extremely happy, as you laid eyes on the young boy, now 9 years older. You had a great affection for Narancia, seeing him as a son. (Not that you would say that out loud.) What's more, you also identified a lot with his free spirit and loved all the joy that he conveyed.

The shock on Narancia's face was replaced by total joy when, out of nowhere, He just ran up to you and hugged you tightly. "I… I thought you’re dead! We all did! I've missed you so much!”

You were surprised for a moment, before smiling and hugging back. Those 9 years have definitely not changed the big, soft heart Narancia had.

"Don’t worry about that, Nara. It’s so good to see you again. Really good." You don't even bother to hold back the tears of joy that were falling from your eyes. Just as you cared a lot about him, Narancia also came to care a lot about you, especially when you became responsible for his schooling for a couple of weeks, before his return to a proper school 9 years ago. Unlike Fugo, you were less strict and much more gentle. Besides, you used the knowledge you had in Psychology, together with the fact that Narancia loved to talk, to turn some of those study sessions into real therapy sessions without him noticing. He had a few things he needed to take out of his chest, and that all definitely had a positive impact on him, as well as bringing the two of you even closer.

However, he wasn't the only one very happy to see you back.

"Hey! What about me?" Trish asked as she approached you and Narancia, also with a big smile and even tears in her eyes. You always gave Trish the support she needed 9 years ago, helping her deal with Diavolo being her father and comforting her. As time went on, though, she came to regard you as her true father figure, or at least the closest she ever had.

You look at Trish, still a huge smile on her face. "Sorry for forgetting you, Piccina."

Releasing Narancia, you quickly wrap Trish in a bear hug, nearly knocking the girl out of breath. Bruno couldn't help but smile and get a little emotional as he watched this whole scene.

“You have some neat facial scars now, Y/N.” Mista comments as he approaches, carrying Polnareff in his hands. “But that beard... You look even older than Polnareff now.”

You huff, touching your beard. “It’s just for you guys not to feel too jealous. I’m almost 42, and I still look younger than ALL of you!”

“Yeah, well - we’re not wizards like you.” Mista smiles. You can only grunt and facepalms, but still smile.

“For the last time, Guido; It’s HAMON!” Mista laughs again, being directly followed by you. This became sort of an inner joke between the two of you. Even Mista knowing about Hamon and you being a user of such skill, he would still say it was magic, and that you were a wizard.

Now looking at the turtle in Mista's hands, Polnareff’s soul is just looking at you, smiling. You can't help but feel happy to see him again, even though you prefered to have him there with his original body, and not as a soul inside that turtle. You like to think that if you had come to Italy with him, this could've been avoided. But being honest… you know that things possibly would get even worse, with you even probably being killed by Diavolo. But it's not worth it to think about the past now, as you can't come back and change things.

Now you just smile as you take the turtle in your hands.

"It's good to have you back, mon ami. How are you?" Polnareff asks.

"I'm fine." You respond as you sigh, very relieved. "It's over. It's finally over… They're all dead."

Polnareff’s smile gets even bigger. "I'm so glad to hear that, Y/N." Meanwhile, the others around you just got confused and didn't understand anything they heard.

"Who's dead? What are you talking about, Y/N?" Mista asked curiously, followed by Trish and Narancia.

Before you can say anything else, Bruno approaches you. "Wait a minute... Polnareff knew? He knew all this time?"

You look at your boyfriend and sigh before nodding your head. "He was the only one me and Jotaro shared our plan. Honestly, he kinda gave us the initial idea.”

A small part of Bruno was angry at this revelation. You revealed your plan to Polnareff, but not to him? Again, it looked like you didn't fully trust him, but this time he was quicker to understand and accept your reasons. That was an extreme situation and you were desperate.

Again, none of the others were understanding a thing.

"Uhh... Y/N? What's going on? And who is Jotaro?" Narancia questioned you as she tried to understand all this.

You just sighed as you shook your head. You were determined to reveal everything to everyone, and you were ready to face the consequences. But even then, that didn't mean it was easy.

"In a moment, Nara. It's just... so good to finally see all of you again." You were more than happy to be back, but not everyone there felt the same way.

"Well… non-ironically, I guess you and I are on the same boat now, Y/N." Fugo had a certain disdain in his voice and look in his eyes, something he didn't even try to hide. “I think you lost all the right to criticize me.”

His smile quickly faded from his face when you looked at Fugo. You both were quite neutral towards each other at the beginning, but started to share a certain amount of respect, and discovered later that you both shared a few things in common, like the same interest in some areas - mainly academic ones. Fugo also was very curious about your Hamon, especially because, thanks to it and the control you had over that skill, you're immune to Purple Haze virus. That was the main thing that helped you both to form a friendship bond at some level.

However, it all went south when Fugo abandoned the gang. More than anything, you hated traitors and disloyal people, so you never forgave Fugo for that. 6 months later, when he returned, the others needed to restrain you, since you almost attacked him in a moment of rage.

Putting the past aside and returning to the present, you clench your hand into a fist for a moment, but soon release, not wanting to spoil this reunion.

But you weren't going to let Fugo get away with that. "I had to leave because it was something necessary, and as you heard: to protect you all from my own past. You ran away because you’re scared. I, on the other hand, decided to face my own fears and demons, no matter how much pain it brought me! I don’t care about your excuses to leave, Fugo. You’ll always be a fucking coward in my eyes.”

Bruno sighs annoyed because of your conversations. He didn't want you both to fight right now "Let's calm down, both of you. You're two adults, so stop acting like teenagers."

However the words of the Italian had fallen on deaf ears, because you obviously had pushed Fugo over the edge. "Don’t you dare call me a coward again!" He jumps out of his chair, but before he can do anything, a portal is created right below him, at the same time another one appears right upon him. As soon as Fugo steps on the portal on the ground, he starts falling on a loop, as he would constantly cross the portal upon him and fall directly into the one below him. That obviously scared everyone, less you.

The King In Yellow then appears in front of you, making the portals disappear and stopping Fugo’s infinite fall loop.

"Threaten Y/N again and I'll flay you alive!" The mere presence and appearance of King, joined with the experience of falling forever, were enough to make Fugo give up being aggressive towards you.

“9 years, and you haven't changed a thing, Fugo. I guess that's the Borderline personality disorder in you…” Looking to the side, you see that Abbacchio, who until now was only watching, was already on his feet and with Moody Blues beside him, ready to pounce if anything happened.

"Don't even try it, Sephiroth. All you can do with this puny ability of yours is replay me beating the shit out of you again and again." King says, looking at Abbacchio as he makes his claws very visible as an extra intimidation factor. You can't help but smile and shake your head at this, seeing how much King hadn't learned.

"Leone, If you already hated me calling you 'Sephiroth', now it looks like you'll have to handle double." You comment to Abbacchio, before turning your attention back to King "First: Leone’s ability may be puny for combat, but it's awesome nonetheless. And second: Warning: Edgy levels reaching dangerous heights. Please abort." Your joke makes your Stand lose some of his posture and look at you.

"You know... I'm trying my best, Y/N." King says.

You can't help but laugh a bit. "And your 'best' sounds more like a teenager trying to act cool than someone really intimidating." You still walk around and give your Stand a few friendly pats on the back. "Remember, buddy: ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS. Instead of saying you're gonna to do something, DO THAT THING! Besides, your presence and appearance are more than enough to intimidate anyone. DO NOT squander that with some cliche and empty threats."

Looking around, you see that Abbacchio wasn't the only one ready to fight if it was necessary, as Mista had his revolver in hands.

"We'll continue this conversation later." You sigh, turning back to everyone. "Let's calm down, shall we? Everything is fine, he's just my Stand." You tell everyone, reassuring them, what seems to work. You sigh in relief and look at Bruno, laughing like an idiot. "I told you he was a little crazy at times, and pretty cocky as well."

Now that tempers were calmer, all attention immediately turned to King.

"Your Stand? When did you get one, Y/N?" Trish questioned, looking curiously at King. “Also… he's sentient?”

You smile and happily not to her. "Yes he is, Piccina. He doesn't even shut up sometimes… not that I’m complaining. But anyway, his name is The King In Yellow, and I got him just 9 years ago."

"Wow..." Of everyone there, Narancia was more fascinated with King than anyone else. "He looks so sick! And now you have both Hamon and a Stand, Y/N? That's awesome! Those portals were his ability?"

Before you could say a word, King spoke before you. "First: If you have any doubt, you can simply ask me, friend. And second: you're correct." He then creates a portal below a chair and another one on a wall on the other side of the room. The chair then falls through the portal on the ground and crosses the other one on the wall.

"That's damn cool!” Mista says, impressed with King's abilities, as is everyone else.

"I have a lot more tricks up my sleeve than just creating portals to move some objects." King says. "For example..." The Stand didn't even wait and created five tiny portals, all over the room, with one more in front of him. King then demonstrates his ability to multiply things with his portals, as he crosses his hand through the portal in front of him, surprising everyone when his hand is multiplied and also appears on all the other portals. Next, he crosses his head through the portal, with the same happening: his head multiplying and appearing through all the portals.

“King alone can punch someone like he was an entire crowd, all that without even getting out of place. That helped me a lot in these years.” You smile and cross your arms. “Trust me, this is only a little example of the versatility of King’s powers.

Everyone is again impressed with King's abilities. With abilities like that, it was obvious he was a deadly foe in combat.

"And I'm sure he can use his portals to guide your bullets better than the Pistols, Guido." Your comment immediately made you be surrounded by the Pistols, with them yelling and kicking at you about such an accusation. "Geez... Did you even think of taking these guys to do some therapy, Guido? I can help! I could finally give my PhD a good use again..." You say while using your Hamon to ward off the Pistols.

"I should have waited for something like that." Polnareff comments. "With you having a Stand, I mean. It was a certainty that Jotaro would lend you an arrow."

You smile and nod your head. But Polnareff's words remind you of another reason you're here.

You sigh. "Yes, he did... But anyway, I know I owe you a lot of explaining, and you deserve it. You'd better sit down. All of you."

Everyone there, with the exception of Bruno and Polnareff, looked at each other, wondering what you had to say. They obviously had questions, and you had already decided that you were going to reveal everything.

They all sat down, with you sitting down too, and with Bruno by your side and Polnareff in your lap, you get ready to start talking, but not before Bruno holds your hand momentarily and smiles, giving you strength and telling you to go in your own time.

You return the smile. What would you be without this man in your life?

Again turning your attention to others, you clear your throat before you begin. "It's better Jean help me here, because... It's a hell of a story."
