Only most of the story and designs of some of the characters are technically mine the rest of the main media used in this work belongs to Bethesda-(Bethesda Game Studios/Bethesda Softworks).
Also Credits to AcerbusHicFuit ( Go check Her out!! (I believe that AcerbusHicFuit uses she/her pronouns based on one of her tags) She is honestly a big inspiration as she creates the best fic's with such good writing.) for the amazing personality you gave Charon and even the whole idea of him being a second dad to the LW so I'll be using this fun idea that honestly makes a lot of sense. I of course will be using the idea to the best of my ability as well as build upon it with my own idea about how he acts while also taking inspiration from some other sources which will be credited.
Now I am using mods to help bring some fun ideas and interesting content/ideas that I would have probably never thought about. So because they are in my game and I'm using my game to help me even write this I'll be crediting them and adding the links to where I found them which is Nexus.
- Charon Improved by llamaRCA (LLAMARCA). (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/12221) Is one mod that I'll be using to help me really humanize Charon as, well, he like many of the companions are rather flat and trying to fix that flatness it pretty difficult without some ideas.
- That middle-aged guy - A dialogue overhaul mod by vegaswanderer. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22070) I feel like this mod should be credited as well it’s actually super good and makes trying to fix the in game dialogue for certain scenes I make myself a lot easier.
- Tranquility secrets -A vault 112 Mod- by vegaswanderer. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/22115) Fill in the blanks to help me out as trying to fix things myself with nothing to help spark my creativity sucks and it'll be in my fic.
- The D.C interiors project by chuckSteel. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/5573) Pretty obvious why this is credited as well I didn't come up with these interiors and well almost if not all will most likely be seen in my fic.
- We want more - WWM by onowrouzi. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21342) More quests more fun and it can be helpful to further the story along and grow the characters and well a few will be tweaked around a little to fit my story but yeah so credit anyways.
- Attentaters wasteland economy revived by Attentater5 and SpaceOden. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/13328) It builds up the settlements helping me figure some things out in how I want to lay out my own ideas.
- Raiders of The Capital Wasteland by CarlZee. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/25835) This mod helps me have more fun with creating raider groups alongside theirs and it even helps me flesh out areas and create more to have fun with.
Some animal designs I'll be using in this fic belong to- owligator -over on Tumblr (owligator.tumblr.com) They have full credit for the creatures designs and even story elements the creature has. I will also be adding on a few things from my own imagination to ensure that those amazing designs fit within the story.
-This fanfic will also only reside on Achiveofourown.org and will be updated at random but I will try my best to update as much as possible although I can not promise that. This work will require me to fix some mistakes and lore breaking things Bethesda decided to do as well as plan, write, fix and submit this all while juggling my responsibility's, horrible mental health, procrastination/motivation, etc. That and I have many ideas about the world of Fallout that I will be putting into my work, why? Because I am obsessed with the Fallout universe and get way too into it, along with actual history which I will reference in my work as well, simply because history repeats itself.
#What type of relationships this Fic will contain#
Okay so if you didn't really read through the additional tags (I've done this) there is a romance between Butch and one of the LW (Lone wanderers) (The romance will mostly be fluff as I suck at writing lemon/lime and I'll probably not write it).
There is no romance between Charon and any of the LW's he is going to be seen as a father figure for the two of them, Purely Platonic!! (I will be creating a fic with a romance with Charon for anyone wondering)
*A little about me?/my writing faults*
-I'm a pretty new writer (in the fact that I haven't exactly shared my writing with others) and don't exactly know how to do this, although I'm extremely good at detailed writing (for the most part).
-I also have a habit of wanting to create a bunch of new things when I really shouldn't and instead should focus on the thing I'm working on, so don't be surprised if I end up creating a new/long/detailed work while this one is going, although I'll try not to.
-I do tend to have run on sentences because I talk really fast but I will try my best to fix those.
-I also suck a titles, summaries and capturing the personality of very unique characters (character that have a very different personality than my own) so sorry if anything comes off oc or like not in tune with the character I will try my best to match the character/s personality/s but I can't promise anything.
-Oh and I also tend to re-work my writings to fix things that I don't like or could do better, this happens at random and I think it's mostly caused by the fact that I get embarrassed re-reading my own work and I need a few months away from it to truly proof read it which isn't ideal for those who want to know what happens next. So sorry for those who dread having to go back and re-read things.
&Different gender writing&
Just for anyone wondering or wanting different gender writing I can do those feel free to ask, for example:
- I can do (Male, Trans, Non-binary, female) reader x character/characters
- I can do Female character (Oc) X characters/character.
- I can do Non-binary characters (Oc) X characters/character.
- I can do trans (Trans female and or Trans male) characters (Oc) X characters/character.
- And of course male characters (Oc) X characters/character.
A little side note any story I've already created that gets a gender change or whatever will be pretty different from the other counterpart stories as I don't like when people just slap on the male/female/non-binary pronouns without changing things to make more sense (I'm fine with it for oneshots even then its still lazy in my opinion). I also prefer to write stories about/in the universe(s) Bethesda's/(Obsidian) games are in (Fallout (3, New Vegas, 4 (1 and 2 once I can actually play them)), Skyrim (maybe more elder scroll games?)). I can also write for some other video games as well like Saints Row (1,2,3). Borderlands 2 and maybe even the pre-sequel.
