I looked in horror as it crept closer......Wait you must be confused hearing me talk about something creeping closer, ready to pounce etc. Let me explain
My name is Remus, and over there are my friends there's James, a man who was slightly taller than me with black messed up hair with light blue eyes, freckles covering his tan skin with big circular glasses.
James family is pure-blood rich with a loving family dynamic, only child. And the one next to him is Sirius, he has dark brown eyes with shoulder length black hair, unlike James he was more pale with a horrible family, they were still pure-blood but the bad ones who spew about how if your not a pure blood your beneath them and should be killed, their right pricks including Sirius's little brother and cousin.
The there's Alice she has blond hair withbright blue eyes and pearly white teeth, she's also a pure-blood last in her family except for her brother but I don't count him since he left her a few years back. Lastly in the group is Peter a chubby boy with light brown hair and beady eyes, easily being the shortest in the group, his family is half-blood his mom being a Maggie and dad being a wizard.
Finally there's me a short teen with black eyes with sand brown hair I'm the second tallest In the group only by a few inches compared to James and Sirius. My family is half blood my mom being a witch and my dad being a Muggle and now that you know who is who I can finally tell you how this all happened, I guess it started when I first got a letter telling me that I was accepted into hogwarts.
It was a bright summer day in Tumble town and in a tiny house deep into the woods, there lived a boy and his mother. It was a Monday like any other but today was different someone is turning 11.
"Remus dear it's time to get up" my mom yelled from the kitchen as I groaned, forcing myself to get up for one of the worst days of my life, when I yet again get rejected for being a monster oh joy. I finally get up and go to the other side of my room to grab my clothes which were now washed from yesterday's dirt stains and garbage smell. Yesterday I had to help my mom fix the garden after weeks of neglect, the garden was horrible with weeds covering the whole lawn with bugs like beetles and ants hidden in the grass.
I shake my head to getting rid of those horrible thoughts of yesterday's hard work, soon I finally mustered up the energy to drag myself down the stairs to the kitchen where my mom was sitting at the table and weirdly she was staring at a letter in shock. I wonder what was on that letter I mean my mom hadn't looked that shocked since.... well forever
"Uh Mom Are you okay?" she shook her head at me before she stood up and pulled me into a giant hug without answering my question (Rude) but she just kept hugging me (feels like she broke a rib or two). And about 3 seconds later she broke down crying which made me panic
"Mom Are you alright what's wrong?" I ask with worry in my voice, she then wiped her face with a piece of cloth she had pulled from her pocket then with a bright smile on her face she said the most shocking thing ever
"sweetie i'm more than alright there letting you go to school!" my mom had a giant smile on her face with a proud look in her eyes almost hopeful. I had almost started crying right then and there but of course I was hesitant to believe her but she was my mom, she wouldn't lie to me so I smiled back at her with equal excitement. That was one of the best moment in my life!
My mom then decided to go fix breakfast while I tried to process the news. After a while She came back to the table with a plate in her left hand that had eggs and bacon on it with orange juice in her right.
As I ate I asked
"hey mom what day did they say that i'll go to school?"
Almost immediately she responded "tomorrow"......... WHAT?! I raced upstairs quickly to get my stuff pack trying to find all my lost socks and books that I wanted to bring to school I hurried to finish despite it still being the early morning.
My mom soon came in just when I finally forced the top of my luggage closed with all my random assortmentof clothes . She laughed and told me that I had enough time to pack later after I actually bought what I needed for school
(Time skip it now night time)
I can't wait for tomorro! Because Tomorrow I'll be getting on the train on my way to school. I'll study and get all Os in class and be the smartest in all of my classes. Also, I'll make friends.
Wait no I can't. I won't make friends that's too dangerous. They might find out and I'll be kicked out because they would tell the whole school and then their parents would complain to the headmaster and then the headmaster would get mad then he'll kick me out. Before I could even say pink pixies!
"Ugh! stop thinking that way brain this is a happy moment" I mutter to myself in the darkness, anyways I had just finished reading one of my book that we had bought from a store. I forgot the name. But I remember that it was by the quidditch store (which had a crowd of people around it)
Also before we had left the alley my mom and I went to Oliver's shop to get my wand While I was there
there, weren't that many kids my age because they had gotten their supplies weeks before when the invite got mailed out. It took more than 10 tries but honestly I Lost count after the 15th try.
but after a while, I finally got my wand. It was a 10%4", Cypress, Unicorn hair wand. Which he said was Perfect for DA, I'm so excited for my first year
It's the morning now and my mum and I just got to the train station but before we could get there we got lost like we always do. Neither one of us were to good at directions
"where is it?" my mum muttered in frustration
"mom what are we looking for again?" I asked
"Platform 9 and three quarters"
"but there is no 9 and three quarters"
my mom then went on for about 5 minutes trying to explain how we can't see it but it's there
"so that would mean that it right there, right?" I say pointing at a brick wall
"Oh I suppose logicaly it would be there" my mom said with a slight blush on her face. We walked over and my mom started telling me how to get to and on the train before I left. She then pulled me into a hug and covered my face with a bunch of kisses.
"mom" I groan with embarrassment
"have a good time sweetie and don't get in trouble or else". My mom said threatening me with a stern look, I turned around to the brick wall, took a deep breath and started running to the brick wall waiting to feel the impact but it never came. I opened my eyes to see a surprising amount of people with their family getting on the train. I hurried to get on the train but before I board I couldn't help but notice these 2 groups of families.
One was a man that had black messy hair and brown eyes with I think his wife? who had light brown hair with slightly pink eyes, they were talking and kissing their child I could hear some of their conversation walking by "remember be good, stay out of trouble and if anybody bullies you, you tell your teacher and try to get good grades please" said the lady the man then nods in agreement.
He then pulls his son away to whisper something to him that I could not make out then he hands a box to his son giving him a bright smile.
The other family I walked by looked kinda scary I heard them talking to one another saying slightly weird things like not getting in trouble. don't make friends with
anyone but pureblood and how Slytherin is the best.
I didn't get to hear the rest because I had to get on the train soon so I could find a seat in the back, hoping that no one would bother me while I waited for the train to reach hogwarts but sadly that didn't happen because not even 2 minutes later the kid that I had saw with his family walked in "can I sit here?" He asked, I nodded in response giving him permission to sit while he raised his hand, waving introduced himself "hi nice to meet you I'm James"
Chapter 2: The main meet

I reached for his hand trying to be polite, I don't need any enemies on the first day, after we shook hands I went straight back to reading the silence in the cart stretched on as I felt James gaze on me.
"So?" He asked still watching me
"So what?" I responded looking up at James who was fiddling with his clothes in the seat across from me.
He scooted forward in his seat leaning towards me "What's your name?" Huh? He smiled "you know when someone introduces one's self you typically say your name"
My name? But didn't I-Oh I guess not? I gave him a slight shocked look before remembering what he asked me. "Oh sorry my name's Remus" I muttered
He beamed back "nice to meet you Remus!" Before he could say anything else I heard another knock on the door before it opened.
There stood the other boy I had seen at the station but he looked slightly different his stance was more lax and he looked relaxed, he looked like a real kid instead of a Statue.
He gave us a looked over before he pointed at the seat beside James asking " can I sit there?"
"Sure" James said looking at me who gave him a nod of approval, he slumped beside James offering a hand " name's Sirius how bout you?"
"Names James the other guys in the corner is Remus nice to meet you" I didn't respond going back to my book as they started to talk quietly to one another.
(10 minutes later)
I knew it! I should have known they were nothing but trouble when I met them. For the past few minutes while I read I heard them talk to one another which somehow lead to them learning that they both had a affection towards pranks.
James boasted (with a happy proud voice) about his pranks he's pulled on others with Sirius mentioning their own. After realizing how much they had in common they started to compare bonding even more.
As they continued to talk we heard another knock groaning internally as the door opened showing another boy who fidgeted with his hands looking nervous, I ignored him reading my book as he greeted James and Sirius.
"May I sit here? He questioned, "Sure! My names James" he reached out across the cart shacking his hand.
"And I'm Sirius, the kids beside you is Remus he's mute or something hasn't muttered a word since we came here" he pointed at me as I continue to ignore him.
James looked slightly offended at Sirius "what do you mean? Of course he can talk he told me his name when I first got in here." He gave Sirius a slight push on the shoulders.
He pushed James back " I don't believe it, I mean who wouldn't say hi to the most smartest "dumb" handsome "ugly" amazing "non-amazing" James do you mind?!"
He glares at James as I laughed to myself which earned me a bright smile from James as I tried to stifle my laugh.
He gave a exaggerated shake of his head "Sirius you can't just lie to people you just met!" He scoffed
"Yeah well my point is that he hasn't said anything since we got here!" James gave him a slight frown "so what if he doesn't want to talk then he doesn't have to"
Getting tired of them talking about myself I cleared my throat " You know maybe you could have asked me instead of just assuming I don't talk, and you know it's rude to talk about someone Infront of them"
Sirius looked slightly shocked at me while James just smirked at him as he slumped down mutter to himself.
The ride to Hogwarts was quiet as I went back to reading after Sirius started to question me before getting bored and beginning to talk to the other.
As I sat there reading I couldn't help but think of what a pain this year will be, with having to hide my problem and from the sound of it having to hide from pranks. I feel sorry for the fool who ever got on their bad side.

I sighed happily as the train pulled to a stop letting everyone get off as we walked out I was pushed around as people yelled at one another as I stood there confused I soon heard someone yelling for first years. As I went towards the voice I saw other first years by the lake getting into boats "four to a boat" the man yelled out.
I began to walk towards a boat only to feel something grab the back of my robe dragging me away as I struggled, turning around I surprisingly saw Peter who lead me to a boat where James and Sirius sat who both pulled me into the boat sitting me down beside James.
"What are you doing?" I exclaimed
"What? We're friends now!" James pointed between all of us "that means you gotta sit with us!" He gave me a bright smile which I shielded my eyes from
"Yeah well you forgot one thing, we ain't friends" I said sharply to the others as I looked back at the other boats looking for a open seat as James thought to himself.
He snapped his fingers smirking at me " I've got it!" He leaned close "how bout we make a deal?"
I looked back at him tilting my head "what kind of deal?" He looked at Sirius and Peter before saying "If we all get in the same house you gotta promise to be out friend Kay!"
All of us in the same house? That's a stupid bet! He'll never win there's a 1 out of 1000 percent of that happening, but it is a easy win for me?
"Okay it's a deal" I reached out shaking his hand as we began to move, they all talked to one another as I sat there quietly before I heard a man yell "Duck!" We all quickly ducked down, well all of us except one (Sirius) who turned to look at the man"what do you-?"
Without thinking I grabbed his head pushing it down before he got hit after we passed I let go climbing back into my seat as James laughed at Sirius. As I wiped my hand off.
A few seconds later we reached the castle climbing out of the boat before walking up a hill to the main gates where a lady stood in a green robe who was talking to us but between the whispers of the first years I couldn't hear.
She motioned us inside as we walked in we looked around in amazement, the castle was giant! We soon stopped in what I could guess was a dining room where the other grades say looking at us as we all waited in line getting ready to be sorted.
"Sirius Black" she called, he walked up put on the hat and waited until it yelled "Gryffindor!" He gave a bright smile before running to the cheering table. Not much later I heard "Peter Pettigrew" also Gryffindor the finally "James Potter" who happily skipped to the hat putting on for a brief second before it yelled "Gryffindor!"
Okay now I'm getting worried but it's fine I'm going to Ravenclaw anyways! "One more!" I heard James whisper to me "Remus Lupin!" I walked to the seat sitting down as the hat fell on my head.
"a Lupin huh? I remember I sorted your dad before, very smart, brave, trustworthy and sneaky. Huh? Not Gryffindor you say? Hmm you would be a perfect fit for Gryffindor and I see you have a few friends there already too then I guess you are a-"
he cut off my pleads "Gryffindor!" I sat in shock before I stood up abruptly and yelled out "Curse you Potter you Jinxed it!" He began laughing in his seat as I stormed to the table sitting down away from where he was laughing to himself.
As the sorting finished food began to appear Infront of us as everyone began to eat I felt the seats around me move.
"Welp guess your stuck with us Remy" I continue to eat ignoring them "don't call me that" I grumbled back thankfully they ignored my response going back to talking to one another trying a few more times to get me to talk.
As the feast finished everyone began to filter out to their house, we all were lead to a tower where a portrait sat until the perfect said the password (boggarts) which then surprising opened to a hidden room where the perfect directed us to our room
As we got in I claimed the bed at the far right pushing it farther away from the others
Sirius looked shocked at me "oh come on Rem don't be like that!" I gave him a blank stare "I would rather die than be by you... asinine" he put a hand to his chest dramatically "Remy I'm wounded!" James snickered into his hands as Sirius fell over.
I groaned before closing the curtains of my bed, flopping down I pushed my head into my bed as the others around me began to get into bed turning off the lights.
"Night Sirius!" James whispered "Night darling!" Sirius muttered back making them both giggle "night Peter" he let out a load snore making them laugh. Thankfully they stopped going quiet before I fell asleep I heard James mutter out quietly "night Remus" I sighed into my pillow before looking out my curtains at James who was looking at me jumping at my movement
"Night James" I muttered out which caused him to smile bright, closing the curtains I slumped back into bed falling asleep.
