What no one thought about before creating large mines for Moc was that it could affect humans. The rare ore was a legendary invention with much NOT discovered and so much potential. How could they have known?
People started getting abilities and features that could put them and others at risk of getting hurt, simply because they were near the enchanted cores for so long.
No one could have predicted what would happen next.
Because how are you to differentiate a Mutant from a Human, when they wear the same masks?

Basically an AU where Tubbo is a scientist looking for a cure to the sickness spreading through whispers of the town. He’s been kicked out of multiple labs, but a scientist needs to science. So, with the help of his friends, Jack, Niki and Tommy, he begins his fight to work this out.
What he couldn’t have know was what he would soon discover. Something that no one else seems to know.
