Chapter Text
Draculaura sped through the intersection passing the scarima movie theater and pulled into the mall parking lot. She grabbed her purse and quickly ran to the mall entrance only slowing down when she saw the familiar stripes of Toralei Stripe.
Draculaura stiffened as Toralei spotted her, but she soon relaxed and walked up to the feline monster. Toralei eyed her up and down and sneered at the girl. She was about to say something when Draculaura's delicate hand extended toward her for a handshake. "I don't want to continue fighting with you Toralei," Draculaura said in a sickly-sweet voice, Toralei could only inhale before she was cut off as Draculaura continued, "things are about to change majorly, and I would like you to be my friend and not foe when shit hits the fan", Toralei just gaped at the vampire.
Toralei looked to Meowlady and Purrsephone and made her decision, she grabbed Draculaura's hand and gave it a firm shake. Draculaura smiled cheerfully at the girls and went to walk past them when Toralei grabbed her hand, Draculaura looked back at the feline trio. "Do you want to walk around with us?" Toralei asked optimistically, Draculaura just beamed under Toralei's gaze and grabbed her by the arm dragging her, Meowlady, and Purrsephone into the mall, the three felines laughing good-natured at the girl's sunny disposition.
Toralei had never been friends with anyone who was as energetic as Draculaura. In fact, she could barely keep up with the vampiric girl. Draculaura was pulling them from shop to shop, and they soon went to eat lunch at creature's coffin. The girls quickly sat themselves down at a little table by the restaurant's fountain and waited for the waiter to come take their orders.
The girls just talked, and everything felt so completely and utterly natural that they didn't even notice that they had talked through their orders and lunch. It had already been an hour and the girls where just finishing up their food when they caught sight of a certain pack of monsters walking in the mall entrance.
