   Summary

   This is a modern au. There are no vampires.

   Lestat and Louis own a club together, they are married and have a daughter. However, they are currently separated, following a fight a year ago. Lestat has moved in with Antoinette and Louis has started dating Armand. However, Claudia knows the real reason for the fight and realises that she has to say something before it's too late when Louis decides it's time to get a divorce and her arch nemesis, Armand, wants to move in.

   There may seem to be similar events referenced to those that happened in Season 1 of the AMC show, but they didn't happen like that (quoting Sam Reid, and in this instance he's 100% correct), not in this story, which is a work of fiction.
   I really, really hope this is not too far from what the recipient of this fic exchange was hoping for.
