Summary:

The final one.

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Now that the storyline is over, it's time for this Q&A series to also get it's deserved end. But before we round this up, let's have one final and lengthy round. This time, Cyril's not alone, because we also have Cerise (or if you will, "Lila Rossi") joining us. Let's see what questions we got here this time...

--

Question 1: What is your sexuality?

Cyril: Straight, most likely. I never really felt an attraction to the same gender, or have attraction to both.

Cerise: I did consider being bisexual, but I threw that out of the window sometime in the thought process.

Question 2: Who would win in a fight? A tiger, a lion or a super cyborg raven?

Cyril: That's... a strange question. I'd say... it depends. A cyborg is super powerful, whereas a tiger and lion, even though they're powerful animals too, still couldn't hold against the strength of a cyborg.

Narrator: Yeah, the person asking this question likes cartoon stuff, so this was probably the idea behind it.

Cyril: 90's cartoons that are random. Reminds me of that one villain Ladybug, Chat Noir and I fought during my stay in Paris. I think his name was Gagotor?

Question 3: Favorite president?

Cyril: No idea how to reply this. Maybe Camilla Hombee? Though, that's cheating since she's Victory.

Question 4: To Cerise - do you have parental issues?

Cerise: Now, aside of my parents being absent most of the time, not really. Despite what I've done as Lila Rossi, my surrogate mom still welcomes me with open arms.

Narrator: Well, in the canon, you have three mothers, of which none of them is actually confirmed to be your actual one.

Cerise: ...Interesting idea, but why?

Question 5: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Cyril: I don't know, honestly. Probably something you can vary endlessly, like ramen.

Cerise: Polenta. Tasty, if done right - and healthy. And it can also be varied endlessly.

Question 6: Cerise, you have dressed Cyril up as a maid. If you could choose, what other outfits would you like to see him in?

Cyril: Oh no.

Cerise: If you ask me that way, I liked how he looked in that getup. If I had the choice, I would make him into a pretty girl in general. A proper outfit, instead of a costume. Though, I would never say no to dressing him up into something that matches my form as either Volpina or Hoaxer.

Narrator: A partner look, then?

Cerise: In a way. He told me that he thought I looked nice in either costume, so why not put him into something that matches those? Otherwise, I got a lot of get ups. Surely, there's something that would look very pretty on him~

Cyril: ...Surprisingly tame answer.

Cerise: What? Do you want a princess dress? A fox themed maid outfit? Do you want to be my devoted servant?

Cyril: That's not what I said!

Cerise: *laughs* I love messing with him.

Question 7: Sort of related; if you could wear an alternative style, what would it be?

Cerise: I want to try Lolita fashion.

Cyril: Not sure how to answer that, either.

Cerise: Then I will make you try Lolita fashion too.

Cyril: NO-

Question 8: What if there were versions of you that were best friends? And where Lila was a guardian and gave you a miraculous?

Cyril: There totally are, right?

Narrator: Mhm. Cerise is still Lila and playfully calls you birdy all the time. But you hold the Peacock Miraculous.

Cyril: That's... not too bad.

Cerise: We did talk about a different universe where we could have been best friends since the beginning. This is what it would have been.

Question 9: To Cyril - I know it's philosophical, but: What is/was your biggest regret on your journey of becoming a hero?

Cyril: I think my biggest regret is that I often misunderestimated the situation. For example, I thought it would be easy to deal with Hawk Moth, but then he made an announcement that he had a big ego boost.

Cerise: I wasn't asked, but neither did I ever care, so I will reply this as well. My biggest regret, even though I'm no hero, is that I messed with a certain someone's feelings in the past. You know well that I don't regret what I've done, except maybe that I miscalculated the teachers' intelligence, but in that case, in this singluar case of messing with a person, this is the only time I have to say that I REALLY was in the wrong here. I really would want to undo it. Maybe things would have been different these days, otherwise.

Narrator: Well, at least you're on an even ground now after Omen.

Cerise: That's true. And I'm happy about that. But I will continue to do bad things to people that actually deserved it.

Question 10: To both of you: What if you had the raven's blood from Princess Tutu in you? What would be your trigger points?

Narrator: This... needs further explaining for Cerise. But technically, the raven's blood is the blood of a raven demon from the anime series Princess Tutu. It twists people to being darker and more cruel and eventually, turns them into mindless ravens. I think the question was rather oriented on if you could control it.

Cerise: A corruption arc, eh?

Narrator: In a way, yeah.

Cyril: For me, I think my trigger point would be like... a corrupted sense of justice, in a way.

Cerise: Passion. I strive for more all the time and I am passionate about that.

Narrator: So, it'd be a dangerous level of passion, in some way.

Cerise: No level of passion is too dangerous.

Question 11: What role would I have in your world?

Narrator: Okay, so some context; This was asked by a person who was just wondering how they'd fare in this world.

Cyril: I guess it does depend. What are you like? What type of person are you? Would you be willing to fight for the greater good?

Question 12: Favorite weather?

Cerise: Sunny days that are windy. Not too cold, but also not too warm.

Cyril: Same, actually.

Question 13: Favorite ramen flavor?

Cyril: Honestly? I tried vegetable ones at a japanese store in New York and they were REALLY good.

Cerise: I never really had much ramen, so I cannot judge.

Question 14: To Cerise; why do you have multiple identities? Are you a wannabe spy?

Cerise: First off, I got two. Cerise Viola and Iris Verdi. One is my real, actual name and the other is a fake identity, so feel free to guess which is what. And secondly, if I were to be a wannabe spy, then please do explain how I managed to get away with everything by making use of multiple identities. I was able to figure some things out that not even Ladybug knew.

Question 15: To Cyril: Assuming you could talk to your past self, what advice would you give him?

Cyril: I'd tell him to act a little more skeptical with certain situations. I could have averted a few decisions I made, that I later regretted.

Question 16: To Cyril - if a fairy approached you with the chance of being a different kind of magical boy, would you take it?

Cyril: What fairy are we talking about? Kyubey? Or something more traditional?

Narrator: I guess it's more Pretty Cure type of fairies.

Cyril: Not sure whether I'd want to be a Pretty Cure. And if the fairy would tell me that it's destiny...maybe. Though, it would be fun to decline for once. A pretty cure team consists out of 4 or 5 of them, so if the fairy finds the rest of the team, I'm fine with taking a backseat.

Narrator: As a friend once told me, "you cannot deny the power of friendship for long".

Cyril: But the power of friendship isn't exclusively transforming me into a Pretty Cure.

Question 17: Question from Félix! If you were to be a chess piece or describe yourself as one, which do you believe best suits you?

Cyril: What kind of question is that? I don't know anything about chess.

Cerise: The Queen.

Cyril: Predictable.

Question 18: What do you think of masculine people dressing more effeminate?

Cyril: If they like it, then that's cool.

Question 19: 3D or 2D animation?

Cyril: Both!

Cerise: Seconded.

Question 20: Pardon my intrusion, but I seem to feel an unresolved feeling in your heart. It is no ploy to akumatize you, just a mere simple question on my mind. Is there anything that you hate to hide, but would like to reveal to everyone?

Cyril: ...Secrets are secret for a reason. Also, who is this?

Narrator: If I had to judge, that's Chrysalis.

Cyril: Who?

Narrator: In the canon timeline, Cerise actually has become the new big bad of the following season, calling herself Chrysalis. And that whole "pardon my intrusion" thing is her version of the Hawk Moth shtick.

Cerise: Ooh... so, in that timeline, I'm the main villain now?

Narrator: Indeed. And you are, admittedly, doing a great job.

Cerise: I guess I would not want to be in Agreste's shoes, but the name, this style of talking - this is perfect.

Question 21: Now that your storyline is coming to an end, what was the biggest moment for you personally?

Cyril: Becoming Karasu. Nothing ever topped that moment.

Question 22: If you were to invent something, what would it be?

Cyril: I don't think I'd be much of an inventor.

Cerise: An automatic dress up closet. It can be sometimes a bit of struggle to put a disguise on and that would make things much easier.

Cyril: As long you don't push me into that thing?

Cerise: I would totally push you into that thing.

Question 23: If you could have a mythological animal as a pet, what would it be?

Cyril: I'd like a phoenix.

Cerise: Not mythological, but I would like to have a pet fox.

Cyril: Until your fox tears your pillows apart.

Question 24: What is your favourite quote or excerpt from a book or literature piece that you've read recently?

Cyril: I haven't really read many books in the past.

Cerise: "May those who accept fate be granted happiness. May those who defy fate be granted glory."

Cyril: Did you just pull out Edel's arc words?!

Cerise: No, it's from a book. The Prince and the Raven. Did you never read it?

Cyril: I-

Cyril: I got several questions.

Question 25: There's a different universe out there where you two are female and are in a relationship.

Cerise: Adorable.

Question 26: Do you have any plans to listen to Epic the Musical, if you have what’s your favorite song and if you haven’t just looking at song titles, what would you automatically assume is your favorite?

Cyril: "Storm". Simple and effective.

Cerise: "Puppeteer".

Cyril: Who are you pulling the strings of?

Cerise: I pulled the puppet strings of the entire class until you decided to cut them off.

Cerise: I could also pull your puppet strings, but you refuse to be under my control.

Narrator: Well, that's foreboding...

Question 27: Do you play video games? If so, what's your favorite type?

Cyril: Platformers.

Cerise: Online games.

Cyril: I never expected you to be more of an online player.

Cerise: Nothing against a session of Genshin.

Narrator: Now I know why I had a dream where you owned an Xbox. You also owned a pink maid outfit, for some reason.

Cerise: Might just have been another disguise of mine.

Question 28: Favorite color?

Cyril: Purple.

Cerise: Maroon.

Question 29: Sort of a reflection to the question Cerise was given - to Cyril - if you had to choose what female outfit to be put into, what would it be? Assuming you liked your little side quest.

Cyril: I'd not choose one, but if I had to, something simple.

Cerise: Heh.

Cyril: *skeptically side-eyes Cerise*

Question 30: Did you ever wonder who that person was that asked you previously whether you'd like to learn "things of graceful importance"?

Cyril: I actually did wonder who asked this pretty specific question.

Narrator: It's a long story, but in another universe, there's a magician out there and she likes to establish graceful sides of a certain person.

Cyril: Ah, so she wanted to turn me into a prince or something?

Narrator: Well... she would have made you very elegant, but- eh, nevermind.

Cyril: Why did you stop there?

Cerise: Hmm...

Question 31: What is your favorite dessert?

Cyril: Ice cream.

Cerise: Pudding.

Question 32: If you could be kamokized (which is like akumatization but in hero form), what would be your name and your powers?

Cyril: The butterfly miraculous in the hands of a good person? Hm...

Cyril: I'd probably be something that matches Karasu in a way. Not sure what name.

Cerise: I'd like to have a power to make a possible opponent believe in anything I say. Think Hoaxer, but not through Alliance Rings, but vocally.

Narrator: Because you would totally not abuse that power.

Cerise: Oh, trust me, I totally would.

Question 33: What do you think of the narrator? He's the one that created the story after all.

Cyril: The story had a few cool twists, though I have to question why I got akumatized, or almost kidnapped.

Narrator: A good story has both light moments and a lot of drama.

Cerise: Good point.

Question 34: What is your favorite part of your favorite music genre?

Cyril: I like the variety metal and rock can bring. You have things like Sleeping With Sirens that focus on the catchier side of things, then you got a band like Bring Me The Horizon that just does anything they want... you never know what you find next.

Cerise: I do like the chaotic aspect of the electronic pop music that I usually like listening to. Some songs go into very interesting directions and I just like that.

Question 35: Did any of you ever watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica?

Cerise: I wanted to cosplay Homura when I first her.

Cyril: Poor Sayaka.

Cerise: Yes, she sort of had the darkest fate of all of them.

Cyril: And Rebellion hasn't changed anything about it!

Cyril: Also, I never cosplayed before, so not sure whether I'd cosplay any of them.

Cerise: In that case, I will drag you into the world of cosplay. You totally would get a kick out of it.

Cyril: And here we go again.

Final Question: Is there anything that you want to say before we end this Q&A series? Anything to the readers, to the people that asked these questions?

Cyril: Well, where do I start... I had my fun answering all these questions. Some were quite chaotic, others were Mei wanting to dress me up for the hundredth time and it was just generally enjoyable. As for the readers, it's very sweet that you take your time and read what I am up to. I know fully well outside of a story that I am but a thought in the Narrator's head; a fictional character. But I am happy that I was given a chance to blossom and you know, I'm always up for more. There's a lot of things I want to explore, still.

Cyril: And as for the people that asked these questions? You have done an amazing job. Though, I need to talk directly to Mei at one point, because I can't help but wonder why she kept on doing these jokes. Cerise, anything you want to say?

Cerise: Not really, except... good luck, Chrysalis. You'll need it.

Narrator: If that's all, then that rounds up the final round! Do you think they'll see you again?

Cyril: The future is not written in stone, so... the chance persists.

Notes:

And that's about it! Thanks for tuning in to these Q&As, hope you enjoyed!
