Kuroo has taken his lover to the beach, but as Kei has once again failed to protect himself from the sun, will their date be ruined by the heat? Or will they make do with a…different kind of heat.
Also the two plan for the future, while watching Dinosaurs fight.

Starting to dry himself off after a decent length swim, Kuroo sat down beside his lover Tsukishima, as the blonde opened up their weathered and old picnic basket, which was in serious need of replacement.
Kuroo says he needs a new basket but Tsukki has already become attached to it as this basket had been present on each and every date that the two had been on in the last three years together; and who is Tetsuro to deny his 'Strawberry Dino'?
"Kei~ did you forget your sunscreen again?" Tetsuro teased, kissing a rather sensitive and red patch of skin above Tsukishima's naval.
Kei hissed slightly at the contact, but kept the ravenette's mouth on it

"Then get a less attractive body if you want me to not look at it" kei pouted, looking away but glancing back and blushing as Kuroo pointed it out. He could never get anything past his rooster.

Even though Tetsuro gave up sports a few years back, dating Kei was enough of a workout as it is.

Finally home, the two fell onto the couch, immediately cuddling up as Kuroo began rubbing the aloe Vera on his burnt blonde.
"Next time remember your damn suncream kei." He chuckled as he kissed Tsukki's nose, blushing softly as Kei began to muzzle agaisnt his chest.

Despite living together and both working only part time, it somehow became a rare commodity for both boys to actually get much alone time other than the time which should be used for actual sleep or rest.
Last time a day like this one presented itself was nearly three months prior, and even then the weather wasn't pleasant, rendering said date stuck at home during a downpour in mid April.
"Just be glad that Keiji and Kou dropped by to give us enough for your red skin cutie~" Kuroo purred, ruffling Tsukishima's hair while he left to get the blonde and himself some warmer clothes, eventually returning with two dinosaur onesies and several blankets.
"Tetsuro, why did you get blankets?? Am I not already too hot from the sunburns?"
Kuroo looked at the blonde with a cocked head.
"No dummy, your body will be trying to cool down and overcompensate, meaning you still need more warmth to keep your temperature regulated ok?"
"Fine. But why the onesie? It's embarrassingggg" kei whined, while getting into his Parasaurolophus onesie, leaving it unzipped for easier access, as well as better air circulation, instead of overheating in the glorified fabric coffin.
Kuroo let out a fake horrified gasp.
"Don't tell me you forgot what today was?"
In all seriousness, Kuroo had also forgotten that it was their three year anniversary, but he'd never admit it.
"Three year anniversary darling." Tsukki sighed softly, looking up into Kuroo's eyes lovingly, now laid on the older male's lap.
The ravenette pondered for a second and then nodded his head. "Yep, I knew you'd never forget it babyboy" while kei raised an eyebrow chuckling.
"You forgot didn't you?"
"Yeah sorry Kei" Tetsuro admitted, looking a little embarrassed, assuming that his lover would never let him live this down; not in a malicious way, but more like kenma would back in the day- a more cheeky and teasing way.
"If I thought your memory would have improved overnight I'd be annoyed, but because it's you it's just cute"
"What's that supposed to mean" Kuroo pouted.
"It means yet again~ you Kuroo Tetsuro~"
Kuroo gulped, blushing heavily as kei pulled the fullname card.
"That you~ my precious little imp... forgot to put the dishwasher and clothes dryer on again"
The blonde chuckled, as he booped the other's nose playfully with a smirk.
"Ok we need to stop letting you watch so much Helluva Boss. You're acting like a goetia"
Kei gasped in fake offence, before sighing.
"Fiine but that just means more Dino movies"
"Anything's better than listening to that bird prince's multiple rants about what he wants down to him" Kuroo smiled, rolling his eyes as he kissed Tsukishima's cheek.

During the third rewatching of Jurassic World , in just that day alone, Kuroo kept playing with Tsukki's hair, eyeing a small black box on the table which hadn't been there before. He assumed it was just a present from Yamaguchi or Akaashi, as those two loved to spoil them both when any event happened in either of their careers. The last time Tadashi got a promotion, he got Kuroo and him a new gaming system- specifically the one in Kuroo's wishlist, which was well over a reasonable price.
In fact it was bought by Yamaguchi, however this gift was so that Kei didn't give away what he was planning when Kuroo went over their taxes for the year prior.
"Kei, you're so cute, I could marry you right now and then I'd keep you forever" Tetsu sighed lovingly as he stroked the blonde's face and kissed him softly, while Kei's eyes darted over to the box and back to his partner.
"H-huh? Tetsuro?"
"Ah... was that too much kei? I'm sorry" he said sheepishly, looking away.
"N-no it's fine. I'm actually kind of thirsty, could you get some pinot grigio babe?" He chuckled, smiling as he reached to the box as soon as the coast was clear, replacing it with a dummy box, as to avoid any suspicion.
Soon enough, the two were back together on the couch, before the drinks were put ontop of the brass coffee table, one of those with indents from where the glasses got put done often.
"Tetsuro, I love you so fucking much, and I don't know what id do without you by my side..."
"Kei? I feel the same but..where is this coming from all of a sudden? Is everything ok?" Kuroo said a little lost for whatever was happening.
His eyes widened exponentially as Kei took out a little black box, and opened it, on one knee of course, and looked up to Kuroo lovingly.
"Kuroo Tetsuro, you have been by my side since the day I met you, no matter how bad our lives got, despite everything that went to shit for us... and so much more. I love you so so much, and I'd be the happiest man alive if you'd marry me and live up to what you said earlier."
Kei started tearing up slightly, as Kuroo sat, comepletely speechless for minutes on minutes, finally nodding eagerly and crying into his shoulder.
"Yes yes yes a thousand times yes kei!" He gasped, hugging tighter and tighter, only remembering the sunburn when his newly acquired fiancé winced in pain.
"Shit sorry. Forgot about the burn.”
"Ah. It's alright, just stings like hell."
"I'll go get some more things to treat it ok? Just make sure not to rub the burns Kei. I get that it itches but it'll only make everything worse for your healing in the end."
"I know ya big rooster" kei chuckled, rolling his eyes as he put the DVD back a couple minutes and resumed it, as to stay entertained but not at the expense of Kuroo's watching being off, even if he'd memorised the movie off by Herat with how much the two watch it anyways.
Kuroo returned with various packets and bottles, laying them all on the table before looking at all the sunburnt skin on Kei’s body, lightly caressing them with aloe Vera, among other things, in an attempt to quell the stinging properly.
“Didn’t think you’d get sunburn darling, I could’ve sworn you’re too hot for the sun to affect you~” he teased, booping the blonde’s nose as he slipped the engagement ring on his own ring finger.
“Geez you’re so embarrassing Tetsu” kei whined, nestling against the ravenette’s chest and closing his eyes. “Tired now. Can we sleep?”
“Sure thing. Some sleep will definitely do good on those burns my love. I’m so fucking glad you want to marry me” and with that, the two lay on the couch as the film kept going, drifting off in each other’s arms, kei snoring, while Kuroo kept sleep talking about his plans for the wedding and future. Kei may have been fast asleep but somehow, somewhere in that brain of his, he heard what his fiancé was saying, and of course that’s what crept into his dreams.
