Chapter Text
november 15th, 1962
A loud shatter was heard, ringing through the walls of the house. A small gasp escaped the young boys lips as he saw the large vase, scatter across the floor.
His breath hitched, panic spreading through his expression. His eyes slowly trailed to the line of blood, that was too close to his leg.
He panicked. A thick gulp, as his eyes shakily brought their gaze to see a body, horror seeping through his face.
His father was sprawled out, bones cracked and pushed out of his knees, head twisted around to the point it was almost a 180, his blood pouring out like milk spilling from a glass.
Jake couldn't believe what he was seeing, his own father ; dead, and right in front of him.
A horrified scream, almost blood curdling as she witnessed the horror on the ground. As the poor boys mother ran to her husband, falling to her knees, hysterically crying, Jake brought up his gaze to the high up staircase.
His eyes widened further as he looked at a shocked man, slowly backing away from railing. It seemed the man, who was meant to a business partner, had murdered his father, right in their home, and even worse, on his birthday.
Tears slowly welled up in his eyes, threatening to pour over as he watched the terrified man make his escape.
It was like his worse nightmare had come to play, and everything flashed before his eyes. 12 year old Jake, had never thought he'd witness such a thing, especially as brutal as this.
a few days later...
"Jake please..come out of your room, we must seek funeral preparations" His mother sighed, as she stood in front of the locked door of his bedroom.
Jake sniffled, he was sitting on the floor in front of the door, hugging his knees so tightly they were almost flushed pale.
He didn't want to leave, he couldn't bring himself to walk down those stairs again, or past the main hall where he had witnessed such horror.
His mother began crying once more on the other side, slipping to the ground to her knees. He felt horrible to be causing her more pain, but he was so scared and hurt, he didn't know what else to do, or how to face anyone.
He was so torn about losing his father...
Memories flashed through his mind, his fathers laugh, the bright smile, the way he'd tuck him in every night and kiss his head, everything angelic about him.
He couldn't accept the fact he was gone, torn from his life just like that. Fate was cruel, and it was unexpected.
Years past, he slowly healed, alongside his mother who grew more and more close with him. It seemed the horrible experience, had done some good in fixing their rocky relationship.
Jake was top of his classes, a bright smile on his face everyday. Everybody loved him, he was like a pure angel, sent from the heavens above to lighten up everyone's world.
Despite the pain he endured of losing his father, he had always managed to push through, to be the son his dad raised him to be.
His family had always been well off, even though they were from Australia originally, his father worked hard to become a successful business-man in Paris.
Even after his death, they were completely fine, his mother had taken over, and they'd made sure to continue his beautiful company, and bloodline.
It seemed the perfect couple, had done their job to raise their perfect son, even if there were a few bumps along the way.
Chapter 3: heeseung's backstory.

Chapter Text
october 21, 1963
"You brat! Why can't you ever listen? Perhaps such a disgraceful young boy needs some manner lessons in place?" She was pissed.
"Mother please.. I had only come from my classes! Why don't you believe me?" The boy was on the floor, holding his reddened cheek in his hand as he shook violently.
Poor Heeseung, his mother was berating and hitting him, all because he had arrived home 5 minutes late. It was like anything he did, any mistake, was dishonor to his family.
The angered woman slapped him once more before storming out of the room, he sniffled as he picked up the broken pieces of glass from the statue she had thrown.
Every little piece, sinking into his hands felt like splinters, piercing his skin as if they were tiny daggers trying to go through completely.
He wished he could be anywhere but here, but as an heir of the throne, he was stuck. The youngest child of the 3 brothers from the Lee clan, he was simply treated as though he was a mutt.
It seemed anything he did, was a mistake. Heeseung was done trying to be good enough, so he had taken matters into his own hands.
A loud scream echoed in the dark halls of the large mansion, but nobody came running. A sinister smirk grew across his face, as he watched his mother shake on the floor, trying to crawl away.
"What's wrong, dear Mother? Have I made another mistake?" He chuckled as he pierced yet another stake through her leg. She sobbed, her body was stuck to the ground.
Each part was pinned down, by knives, stakes, anything sharp he found around him.
Soon after, all her screaming stopped. Heeseung drove a sharp angel statue through her skull, blood splattered his clothes, along with the white, but now red walls.
Her eyes were almost popping out, and to him, it seemed it didn't faze him in the slightest.
"Oh dear father...if only you had made the right choice.." He sighed as he held up the disheveled head as if it were a trophy. A small laugh, almost mocking as he tossed it to the floor, the disgusting sound of it hitting the hard ground.
Despite having killed his own parents, that was the least of his worries. The mess, what to tell his brothers, and what to do next was his main concern.
years later...
Heeseung was around 17 in human years now, his oldest brother had taken over the throne after the 'strange disappearance' of their parents.
He hadn't told them the truth exactly, only that he came home and they were suddenly gone without a trace. He was always good with lying.
Their second brother, being quickly witted, had noticed the boy began changing, he was no longer the kind little boy he once knew, it was almost like he was possessed.
Even after noticing, he never said a thing. Heeseung ended up leaving home, since he had no reason to stay. He moved to a small town in Paris, where there was not a person who knew of who he was.
The young vampire did keep in contact with his siblings, though, he didn't speak to them as often. Being a heir though, other vampires noticed he was much stronger, much faster, and even his bite was a bit unusual.
Something they hadn't seemed to notice, was exactly how twisted his mind was.

Chapter Text
A cold breeze of wind brushed past him as he made his way to his work place. Jake had a bright smile plastered across his face as he skipped to the cafe.
The sun was hidden behind clouds, it was a little grey almost, and it seemed like it might rain.
Every person that passed by looked sad, but the moment they heard the honey like voice of the warm boy greeting them, their face lit up.
Jake had a way of making anyone smile, he was an absolute sweetheart and everyone in town knew who he was, and they especially loved him.
A small ding of the bell echoed in the cozy cafe as the young man opened the door. He flipped over the sign to open and skipped his way to his staff room.
Jake was always overjoyed to head to work, he liked to keep himself busy, and he also loved baking.
As soon as he walked out, changed into his uniform, along with his tan cardigan over it, his other 2 workers walked in.
"Sunny! Gene!" He smiled warmly as he waved excitedly at them. Sunoo giggled as he let go of his boyfriends arm and went to Jake
"Hi Jake, looks like someone's having a great morning already?" The tall raven-haired boy said as he walked toward the two.
"Everyday is a great day for him, silly" The fox eyed boy replied as he glanced over to the other before looking back over to Jake.
"He's not wrong really, everyday is great for me" The brunette said as he started up the machines.
After a little longer of conversation, the two went to change into their uniforms. Everyday was almost the same, a shining boy greeting his close friends, working all day till it was late.
Jake had no problem living such a lifestyle, he enjoyed going out or spending time with people doing anything.
Though....the same couldn't be said for a certain man.
Hours passed, it was almost late night. Sounds of groans filled the dark alley, it sounded like someone was being hit.
"P-please sir... I didn't know he was y-your boyfriend" The man on the floor whimpered as he looked up at the tall man, whos foot was crushing his chest.
His face was covered in blood, dripping out of his mouth. Another hard kick hit his jaw, he grunted and spat out a clot of blood.
His swollen eyes widened as he saw a tooth on the ground too.
Heeseung scoffed as he stepped on the side of the mans head, he leaned down, looking down at him as if he were nothing but a fool.
"He's not my boyfriend, but he's mine" His voice was clear on what he meant, but the man couldn't seem to understand.
He removed his foot, grabbing the beaten latter as he pushed him up against the wall, holding him by his collar.
"I can smell your fear, you dirty mutt. This should teach you not to mess with someone elses things." The last sound that echoed in the dark night of the alley, was a scream.
Heeseung drained the man of his blood, he was nothing but another cold corpse when he hit the ground.
He wiped his mouth with his hand, scoffing quietly as he made his way back into the night.
Jake was on his way home from work, it was around 10 pm, since he had decided to stay longer to practice more recipes, he skipped as he listened to music, earphones in both ears.
He hummed along as he walked the empty streets, what he didn't seem to notice, was a shadow following behind him.
The latter would've tripped if he hadn't open his eyes. He took his earphone out as he looked down, to see a small kitten meowing and scratching at his leg.
He giggled and pulled his earphones out, he crouched down and gently scratched behind its ears.
"Aww~ Hey there little guy, what are you doing here so late?" He smiled as he slowly picked it up and held it in his arms.
The little kitty was shaking, but as soon as it was covered in the warmth of his hands, it slowly nuzzled into his embrace.
Heeseung was watching from above the building, he had jumped up before Jake took his earphones out.
"How cute.." He murmured as he watched the boy play with the kitten. It seemed as though Jake was just loved by everyone, and anything.
"It's cold and it's gonna rain soon...I'll take you home" Jake smiled as he wrapped up the kitten in the sleeves of his cardigan, he felt small trickles of water begin to drop, so he hurried his way home.
He had a small habit of forgetting things, and he seemed to have forgotten an umbrella. As he walked, the rain began getting harder.
Jake found a nearby placed, and stepped under its roof. He sighed, a puff of smoke coming out as he looked both ways.
It seemed the rain wasn't anywhere near getting calmer, so now he was stuck.
He leaned against the wall, looking down at the kitten in his hands as he gently stroked along its back.
"Poor baby...it's so cold, I'm sorry I can't get us home any sooner.."
"You know...I don't think the little thing knows a word you're saying?"
Jake looked up, he blinked as he saw a taller man in front of him, but an umbrella was blocking his face.
"Oh my..hello sir!" He smiled as he stepped a bit closer, covering the kittens head under his sleeve.
"Would you like me to walk you home? We can share my umbrella.." The mysterious voice was low, but for some reason, it made Jakes stomach flutter?
"I'd love that...thank you, mister...?" Jake innocently spoke as he stepped under the umbrella, and looked up at the man.
A small warmth spread across his face, it was like he had laid eyes on an angel. He saw a pair of golden brown eyes staring back, this random man was absolutely gorgeous.
"Heeseung...my name is Heeseung, and you are?" He remained expressionless as he looked down at the curious boy.
"Oh I'm sorry! I'm um...I'm Jake.." He quietly spoke as he stared into the others cold gaze. It seemed like the man was emotionless, but something about the way he stared at Jake made his cheeks grow warmer.
"Let's get you home, Jake.." He slowly lowered his gaze to the boys slightly parted pink lips before looking back to his eyes. He could sense the curiosity and attraction from the younger boy.
Jake slowly nodded and turned away, he began walking, the other man followed in pursuit.
Heeseung couldn't take his eyes off the smaller boy in front of him, the heat emitting from his body, the smell of his blood, the cute shade of pink across his face. He couldn't believe he was so close to someone who didn't even know they were his.
The small kitten in Jakes arms began meowing again, he looked down and smiled as he gently stroked its head.
"Shh...we'll be home soon, don't worry baby" He quietly cooed as he giggled.
The kitten was so cute, and it fit perfectly in his hands, it slowly fell asleep again from the warmth of Jakes hands.
Heeseung slowly got a little closer to Jake, gently placing his hand on his shoulder.
"It's cold, and your sweaters pretty thin...I'll try to keep you warm"
Jake felt his cheeks warm up again, he was oblivious and to be honest, he didn't know exactly what he was feeling.
He looked up at the man, giving him a sweet smile as he whispered, "Thank you...you're such a sweet man"
Heeseung felt a small warmth in his face, he cleared his throat and looked away.
After walking for so long, they finally arrived at Jakes home. "Here we are...thank you so much, kind sir.."
The latter smiled as he looked up at the older man in front of him. Heeseung nodded his head, and looked down at the kitten before looking back up at Jake.
"Of course..have a nice night, Jake" He watched as the boy made his way inside the building, and disappeared inside.
'So this is where you live...how nice'
Heeseung smirked as he walked away. Jake didn't know exactly what he had gotten himself into that night.
Chapter 5: chapter two.

a little younger jake angst
Chapter Text
"Papa...what's a vampire like?" The young boys eyes looked up at the older man, head tilted and voice filled with curiosity.
"Well, Jake....some are kind, some are mean, some can be sweet, some can be bitter, it all depends on exactly who you meet."
Jake slowly nodded his head, his grip on his fathers hand loosening as he lowered his head.
The sweet smell of warm caramel filled the house, it seemed like mother must have been baking again.
"Jake...I'm sorry." The man kneeled in front of the little boy, hands on his shoulders.
"Papa..what's wrong?" He asked, voice slightly cracking as he looked at his dad.
"Please take care of your mother for me....I love you both so much"
12 year old Jake furrowed his brows, he blinked, and suddenly his father had disappeared.
The room went pitch black, he looked around, but he couldn't see a thing. "Papa?...Mama?..."
A loud scream rang in his ears, echoing in his mind. He winced and dropped to his knees, covering his ears with his hands.
He looked over his shoulder, his eyes slowly opening and he felt hot tears stream down his face.
His mother was sobbing in front of the body of her husband, and slowly Jake stood and ran to her.
"Mama!" He cried as he ran, but the hazy moment kept going further away from him.
Jake gasped as he shot up in bed, tear streaks on his cheeks, and panting heavily.
He looked around, seeing he was fine, and still in his bedroom. "It was only a nightmare...dear lord"
The latter sighed as he finally calmed down, he rubbed his eyes before looking around.
A small smile fixed itself onto his lips as he laid eyes on the small kitten, curled up and laying next to his dog on the bed.
"Aww, Layla...it seems you have a new baby?" He cooed as he crawled closer and gently pet both animals.
Jake placed soft kisses on both their heads before getting out of bed.
Click.
The radio began playing, as the latter fixed up his attire.
"A body was found behind Poppy's Posies around 12 am last night, the victim was named Kim Dongkyu, it seemed to have been a planned attack. The boy was found missing teeth, and his blood drained from his bo-"
A sigh slipped out of his mouth, and he pressed pause. "It wasn't even planned..it just happened"
He scoffed as he straightened his tie. The pale man was getting ready for a business meeting, but he wanted to look good for his stop along the way.
Heeseung's cold eyes flickered golden for a second as he looked into the mirror, swiping his tongue across his fangs.
"He should've watched his tone." A creepy smirk plastered across his lips before dropping.
Jake was running around, a bit more busier than usual since Sunoo was feeling under the weather.
It was only him, and Engene working. The two were almost so busy, it felt like maybe a break wasn't possible.
The young latter was in the middle of finishing up a few drinks, as he finally turned and placed the drinks down, he was a little shocked to see what was waiting at the register.
He blinked, feeling a small heat rise in his cheeks as he looked up at the kind man who helped him home, just the other night.
"Can I have...a medium, warm latte with extra creamer?" The mans voice was calm, and it made Jakes heart jump a bit.
"Of course! Heeseung, right?" He smiled warmly as he wrote the name on the cup.
"I'm surprised you remembered, Jake.." Heeseungs eyes trailed the boys face, he looked a little worn out, maybe it the fact the cafe was so busy today.
"I always remember a handsome face. Your total is $3.99, sir" Jake looked up from the cup, to see the other latter tracing over his features.
He felt his cheeks heat up more as the boys eyes landed on his lips for much too long.
Heeseung lifted his gaze back to the latters eyes, he could sense the boy was a little embarrassed. He flashed him a small smile as he paid for his drink.
Jake hadn't seen the man smile before but, his teeth were perfect and shiny. He smiled back before going to prepare the latte.
Engene had walked back to the counter after finishing cleaning up around the cafe, but he felt a little uneasy.
He noticed that Heeseung was watching Jake, like he was the most interesting thing alive.
The boy brushed it off before going behind the counter to handle the register.
"Hyung, can you actually go grab more chocolate buns from the back? They're almost finished.." Jake gently tugged the olders sleeve.
Engene nodded his head, and before he walked away, he swore he caught a glimpse of Heeseung glaring at him.
He gulped as he went to the back to reheat the already made buns, he still felt a little off.
Jake finished the drink and placed it on the counter, but before he could pull his hand away, Heeseungs placed itself over.
"My apologies..." He mumbled. Jake felt a tingle run up his spine, the latters hand was cold.
"It's alright...have a nice day, Heeseung" He grinned sheepishly as he removed his hand from the cup, rubbing the back of his neck.
"You too, Jake." The man nodded before walking out of the cafe. Something felt a little off that day.
Hours flew by, as normal, and Jake was on his way home. It was late, but since the last time someone had died, he decided to not listen to music as he went home.
A loud bang noise was heard, his head turned, only to see a cat running after falling from a dumpster.
Jake sighed, a puff of hazy smoke coming out as he crossed his arms. It was much colder than the night before.
Thankfully, it wasn't raining, but it didn't help that it was absolutely freezing, and he had a thin jacket.
He felt a shiver along his skin, goosebumps appearing from the cold air. The hairs on his neck slowly stood up, but not from the cold.
The latter gulped as he heard footsteps behind him, almost too close for comfort.
Too scared to turn or look, he began walking faster.
After turning a corner, he finally looked, only to see nothing or nobody behind.
He could feel cold sweat forming along his hairline as he saw the lights flicker.
Jake had forgotten to look forward while walking, so he crashed into something, or rather, someone?
He squeaked, the pair of arms wrapped around him, as he had almost fallen over. He looked up, and he felt his cheeks warm up as he laid eyes, on the same man.
"H-heeseung?" He whispered, his eyes fluttering as he looked up at the man.
"You should be careful to watch where you're going, Jake."
Jake gulped and crossed his arms again, looking down as the man stood him up straight again.
"Of course..sorry, sir....are you alright?" He slowly brought his gaze back up as he eyed the boys face.
Something about the way his hair was messy, his nose slightly red, the look in his eyes, made Jakes heart flip in his chest.
"Yes...I'm fine" Heeseung replied as he straightened his jacket, his eyes never leaving the others.
After a bit of silence and staring, he cleared his throat and slipped off his jacket.
The taller placed the coat around Jakes body, resting it along his shoulders.
Jake felt a blush creep across his face again as he held onto it, looking back up at the man.
"But sir...it's so cold, won't you need this?.." He frowned, his lips slightly protruding.
Heeseungs eyes held their gaze on the youngers cute and pouty lips, he resembled a puppy.
He smiled a little, shaking his head. "I will be alright, it seems you may need it more, mon cheri"
Jake felt his whole face flush with warmth, the small pet name had so much effect on him.
Maybe it was the way the boy said it, or maybe he was starting to feel something for this stranger he had met so many times, coincidentally.

Chapter Text
"You're going to be fine, Jaeyun. I promise you...."
Jake felt his body almost fall, and he jerked awake. He sighed, it was so hard to stay asleep.
He rolled over, but a familiar scent filled his nose. Without opening his eyes, he snuggled closer and fell fast asleep.
When he woke up in the morning, he still hadn't opened his eyes. The latter whined as he gripped onto what he was holding, covering his face with it.
The sun was shining directly on him, but for some reason, he knew this wasn't his blanket.
He sniffled, the scent of warm caramel filled his lungs. His eyes slowly fluttered open as he lifted the object off his face.
Jake gasped, he sat up, holding it in his hands. He had fallen asleep cuddling the mans coat?
"Oh dear....it smells just like Mamas cookies.." A small frown plastered his face.
The puppy like boy sighed before setting it down beside him, and hurriedly hopping out of bed.
"I shall return it today!"
It seemed Jake had ended up falling asleep once more, and now he was late to work.
He had rushed to get ready, and before he realized, he'd left the coat on his bed.
Jake hurried to change into his uniform, and he realized it was a day they close earlier, so maybe he'd be able to get the jacket still?
Hours flew, and finally it was 10 minutes before closing.
Ring.
The bell above the door chimed, and Jake was mopping the ground. He hadn't hurt it since the sound of the mop hitting the floor drowned it out.
He froze as he bumped into something, or someone.
"I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying att- Heeseung?" Jake blinked as he turned, only to be facing the same guy he'd ran into the other night.
"It's alright...if it's not too late, can I still order?" Heeseung smiled as he looked down at the boy, who didn't seem to realize was blushing.
"O-of course! Come along" The latter gave him toothy grin before setting the mop to the side.
He quickly headed over to the register and took the order.
Heeseung, had surprisingly not gotten a latte, but instead just one of Jakes favorites ; a chocolate bun.
As he handed it over, Jake remembered about the coat. His head shot up, a small smile on his face.
Though, his words came out faster than he could think. "I have your coat still! Why don't you swing by to get it?"
Jake looked up at a slightly surprised Heeseung, he then realized what he said and gasped.
"I m-mean you don't have to come over, I could bring it tomorr-"
"I'd love to. When do you get off?" Heeseung cut him off before he could take the offer off the table.
The latter blinked before speaking again. "Uh...give me 5 minutes then we can head out.."
And so, they left the store together, for the first time, he hadn't bumped into the man, but instead, they were walking together, and it wasn't merely a coincidence.
As they arrived, it seemed the air got colder. "I'll bring it down then-"
"Do you think I could come inside? It's a bit cold..."
Jake blinked, the other had accidentally cut him off again. He gave him a small smile as he slowly nodded.
"Of course..come along"
The nervous latter led Heeseung up to his penthouse, they both entered and thankfully, the place was perfectly warm.
He slipped his coat off and onto the rack, as soon as he turned, Layla excitedly ran over to him.
"Hi baby!" Jake giggled as he got on a knee and greeted his dog.
Heeseung smiled as he watched, he looked so cute playing with his puppy.
After a bit, Jake remember the olders presence. "Sorry...she gets really happy to see me, come..have a seat"
He smiled before leading Heeseung to his living room, and letting him sit wherever on the couch.
"Would you like anything to drink?"
"Water is fine..thank you, Jake"
Jake nodded before stepping out.
Heeseungs eyes traveled along the surrounding furniture, Jakes decorations were exactly what he expected.
He glanced around, it's not like it was his first time inside but, it was his first time inside with an invite.
When Jake returned, the older boy was standing and looking out the window. It was pouring, hard.
"Oh dear...sorry to keep you waiting! Silly cat was hungry so I had to feed him.."
He placed the cup down, the man sitting down as he did so.
"It's alright. You have a lovely home, Jake."
"Why, thank you Heeseung hyung- may I call you hyung?" He asked, he was now sitting across from him, with a soft smile on his face.
"Of course..call me what you like, mon coeur."
Thump.
Jakes heart was going absolutely crazy from the small name.
He shyly looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. Heeseung noticed, a small smirk spreading as he raised a brow.
The nervous latter cleared his throat, finally speaking up again. "I'll go get your coat.."
That is, what he said a few hours ago.
After he had brought it to the older, they were chatting like they were close friends.
Jake was laughing at small jokes Heeseung made, making the older smile and his eyes shine.
It felt natural, their time together was comfortable, and to Jake, it didn't out of place at all.
Jake had looked over at the clock, it was past 11.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry, I kept you here so late-"
"Oh lord...it's alright, I'll be off now, you should get your rest, Jake."
Heeseung was about to stand up, before Jake declined.
"I'm afraid not! It's far too late, and it's pouring cats and dogs, wait here"
The older latter raised a brow, watching as Jake disappeared.
This was his plan, after all. Stay too late, so maybe...he had a chance to stay longer.
Jake returned, a blanket and pillows in hand. "You can spend the night...I will sleep on the couch, you may use my bedroom"
Heeseung chuckled and shook his head, "No, ma douce, it's your home, I think you should sleep in your room."
"But- hyung! You're my guest, I cannot let you sleep on the couch.."
"Well...we are in a bit of a dilemma then, aren't we?"
For a bit, the two of them pondered and looked around.
Before finally, Heeseung opened his mouth again, a small smirk tugging at his lips.
"How about we share your bed?"

Chapter Text
Drip..drip...drip.
There was a pause in their moment, Jakes face was red, all he could hear was the rain pouring, and his slow, shaky breaths.
It took him a minute, but he fully got what the boy said. He blinked, looking up at the older with an unreadable expression.
After what felt like forever, Jake nervously giggled and looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. "H-hyung, you're funny.."
"Just take the bed, it's quite alright-"
"I wasn't kidding, Jaeyun.."
Heeseung watched the youngers expression freeze up again, and he could sense his swirling emotions. He chuckled before breaking his intense gaze, looking out the window.
"I'll sleep out here, that's final, you may sleep in your own room. I wouldn't want to burden you, ma cheri" He spoke quietly as he slowly brought his gaze back to the others.
Jake was still so stunned, he couldn't register if the man was just teasing, but his expression seemed too serious to be a joke.
Thump.
His heart skipped a beat as he slowly nodded his head. "Alright. Goodnight, Heeseung hyung..." he trailed off as he turned to walk to his bedroom.
'What the hell just happened?'
The latter shook his head, trying to brush off all the confliction he was feeling. For some reason, he couldn't stop thinking maybe he was..crushing on a man he knew almost nothing of.
Or, he'd met three times based from luck. This wasn't the only issue clouding his mind, just how in the hell does he know Jakes real name?
Heeseung took a seat on the couch, watching the latters disappearing figure with a small smile. 'How cute...he was nervous.'
After awhile, the older grew curious if the other was asleep already or not. He quietly crept to the latters door, slightly creaking it open.
Jake was asleep, curled up with his dog and the little kitten. Cute. He looked peaceful, so still and angelic.
Somehow, his feet led him to stand beside Jakes bed, looking down at his sleeping figure.
Heeseung smiled a little, gently stroking the boys hair. He looked adorable, his small pouted lips, his lashes against his pale skin.
"Ma douce...you are still as beautiful as ever. Sweet dreams, je t'aime" He softly whispered, before placing a small peck to the youngers forehead.
The sun was barely shining in the morning, it seemed like maybe there would be a thunderstorm.
Jake woke up to the feeling of slobber on his cheek, his eyes slowly opening to see Layla licking his face.
"Good morning to you too..." He mumbled as he pet her head, which made her stop almost immediately.
She quietly yipped before the boy got out of bed and went to the bathroom. It seemed like another normal day.
That was, till he opened the bathroom door, still half asleep, to see a man with only a towel around his waist.
Jake blinked, before gasping, slapping his hand over his mouth. Heeseung raised his brow, a droplet of water falling from his hair onto his chest.
'Oh...my......god..'
He gulped, covering his eyes then backing away, "I'm so sorry! I totally forgot- this is so embarrassing"
"It's alright...don't worry about it, la cheri" He gave him a gentle smile, despite the boy not being able to see.
Jake felt his face heat up before hurrying back to his room, his heart was racing faster then ever before. 'Holy shit...'
The older chuckled as the other ran off, he sighed, muttering under his breath, "So cute.."
Heeseung shut the door again before going back to drying himself off.
Meanwhile the younger was trying to calm himself down. "Oh my god...he looked so..Layla what the hell am I feeling?" he whined as he cupped his dogs face.
She barked, making Jake giggle a bit as he played with her floppy ears. "You're a good listener, aren't you, girl?" he cooed.
He was still giggling and playing with her before the older knocked on the door. He got up from the bed, taking a deep breathe before opening the door.
His hair was still a bit damp, it was messy. Jake could feel his breath catch in his throat before he averted his gaze elsewhere. "S-so uh...you're done? Sorry for walking in...I forgot because I was tired-"
Heeseung chuckled before placing his finger over the others lips. "Relax Jake, it's alright. I know you didn't mean to...sorry, I should've locked the door"
Jake blinked, the older still had his finger over his mouth. He pulled back, giving him a shy smile as he nodded his head, "It's okay...looks like we both made a mistake."
"I'm sure you'd like to go wash up too, so I'll get out of your hair...for now" He winked playfully before walking off, the youngers blush made him smile.
'He's so cute when he's flustered..'
The blushing latter walked to the bathroom after standing there, frozen and stunned.
After Jake had finished his shower, when he walked out, he was confused as to why it was oddly quiet. He looked around the penthouse, but it seemed it was now empty?
He was about to yell the olders name, before the other appeared behind him. He squealed, a little scared from the sudden appearance.
"Oh my god! You scared me, hyung!" The younger whined as he playfully pushed the others shoulder.
Despite not being so close, it was always easy for Jake to act like close friends with anyone he hardly knew.
Heeseung chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck, "Sorry, Jakey...I made breakfast for you." He gave him a small smile as he saw the others face turn a shade of pink.
'Jakey..' The younger blushed from embarrassment, the only people who had ever called him that were Sunoo, or Jungwon.
"Y-you did?... That's so sweet of you, hyung.." He shyly said as he looked away.
The older nodded before leading the other to the table, even sitting him down. It all felt, natural?
Jake was a little confused as to why all of it felt familiar, especially it being with Heeseung.
The two chatted for awhile as they ate breakfast, by the time they had finished, and even cleaned up, the rain was getting harder.
"Hyung..are you sure you can get home in this weather? I wouldn't want you to get sick because you couldn't find a way back-"
"It's alright, I've walked in the rain many times. I'll be fine, you don't need to worry so much, mon cher" Heeseung smiled as he gently patted Jakes hand that rested on the couch.
"Are you really sure?...I wouldn't mind letting you stay for longer till it calms down" The younger pouted slightly as he looked at the other latter."
A small chuckle breezed out of the olders mouth as he shook his head, "Jake please, I'm sure it's not gonna stop for awhile..."
"And I'm sure you wouldn't want me to spend the night once more."
Jake didn't know exactly what came over him in that moment.
But he wasn't exactly expecting himself to be so bold.
"What if I want you to stay again?"
