---sixth month---
The frontdoor opened to laughter , Tommy had been out with his best friends after school at the park and mall. Tommy had expected to come home , yes home , to Phil maybe in his office and the Twins either up in their rooms or in the livingroom doing god knows what , but what he didnt expect was ballons hanging everywhere with big letters hanging from one side of the livingroom to the other side of it , saying "Adoption?". He knew that people would hang those saying "happy birthday" but Adoption aswell? this was crazy.
He just stood there looking at the Watsons standing under the big letters, Philholding a box as he stood between Techno and Wilbur. Save to say he was speechless , he was scared to move , scared that this was a prank as he would answer and scared for it to be true at the same time.
He put his backpack on the ground , seeing his best friends standing behind him with their phones filming everything. He finally moved towards them , tears falling down his face as he stopped infront of Phil. He looked all of them in the eyes one by one before eventually slowly taking he lid off of the box to see real adoption papers laying in there
"you're not joking?..." He whispered as he looked up at Phil who had a gentle smile on his face , tears leaving his own eyes
"we're not , i promise..." He said back and right then Tommy broke, he started crying as he smiled and hugged Phil , his now Father.
"yes! Yes yes yes! Please adopt me" Tommy sobbed as Phil wrapped his arms around him , box now on the couch after Wilbur took it from him to hug the ten year old before he and Techno joined the hug aswell. This was the best day for Tommy , he had never thought he would really have a happy and safe family , his safe place.
