Chapter Text
“Hey, hey!” Bludo celebrated as the duo approached. “Glad to see ya could make it, princess!” The bearded Goron stepped back so that the three of them could converse in the middle of the hustling and bustling Goron City. “How are ya doin’? Is there anything I can get ya?”
“Um…n-no…I, I should be fine.” Zelda replied timidly, a polite smile on her face. Either she wanted to get down to business, or she already knew of the Goron’s diet and figured there wouldn’t be anything worth snacking on while they were here. “I came to ah, give my regards, see if there’s anything your settlement needs help with…and, oh, I really wanted to investigate Vah Rudania.” She proposed. “You see, Divine Beast Vah Ruta has stopped functioning entirely. And according to the Zora King, it’s possible that all four Divine Beasts have stopped working. Is that the case here as well?”
Bludo shrugged, lumbering over so they could get a slightly better view of Death Mountain, as Link and Zelda followed. “Can’t really say anything different from what’s already been said.” He looked up. “It’s like it died. Like it doesn’t have a will to go on. Completely stopped moving or workin’.” A beat. “It’s sad to see it go, but I’ll take that over it bombardin’ us with magma and eruptions day and night!”
“We shouldn’t speak so soon.” Zelda held her chin. “Perhaps I could have a team of researchers up here…they could get it in working order again.”
“I wouldn’t hold your breath.” The old Goron huffed. But then he was all smiles, “Now c’mon you guys! All the serious stuff can happen later, why don’t you come on in and chow down! Yunobo’s been wantin’ to see ya, Link!”
Link and Zelda exchanged a glance as Bludo led the way to his quarters. “Guess we have to do what the boss-man says.” Link humored.
The blonde princess sighed. She was dressed in clothes ill-suited for flaming hot temperatures, but the fireproof elixirs were keeping her aloft. Link however, had a different strategy in mind. “I don’t understand how you could possibly wear that….”
“…because I like living?”
“That’s not what I meant.” She frowned at his joke. “It…it just looks uncomfortable…clunky. You’re sure you can manage?”
Link looked down at his Flamebreaker armor. “Pfft. I didn’t have enough ingredients to make a bunch of fireproof elixirs for both of us.” He insisted. “It…it’s an acquired taste.”
“It looks like you’re about to go diving in a lake for some buried treasure.”
“…well, maybe not a lava lake. That would probably kill me.”
“How can you even breathe in that thing?”
“Bah, I can breathe just fine.” Link rolled his eyes at her incredulous questions. “We better get a move on, don’t want to keep the Gorons waiting.” It was Zelda’s turn to roll her eyes. Likely because she didn’t enjoy the prospects of politely declining rock roast half a-dozen times in a row.
“Hey guys!” Yunobo grinned, there were a couple other Gorons in the lively boss’s quarters, cooking up something that smelled good. At least to Link. “Good to see you again! We just made a fresh batch of rock roast. You’re welcome to try it, goro!”
“That…that’s quite alright.” Zelda raised a hand, “I…I don’t think it’s physically possible for a Hylian to—”
“I’ll try one.”
Zelda’s eyes slowly crawled to her lover. “Link….”
“What?”
“It’s okay Princess! It’ll be there if you want it!” Yunobo handed Link a relatively small piece, just in case he didn’t like it. “Oh boy Link! You’re in for a treat!”
“Link, you cannot!” Zelda scurried over, tapping Link’s back with her fist. Not that he could feel it with the armor. “I…my teeth hurt just thinking about it!”
Link crunched into it.
“…I think I’m going to be sick….”
“Oh wow….” Link’s eyes lit up. It did kinda hurt like hell, but the taste was more than worth it. “It’s so rich and…and…robust-tasting. I really like it!” Link ate more. While Zelda went pale and took a couple steps back. “You want some, Zelda?”
“Absolutely not!”
“Hmm…oh well, you’re missing out….”
Bludo finally joined them. “You must be hungry though, eh Princess?” He asked, “You gotta eat somethin’….”
“Ah…p-please, don’t worry about me.” Zelda bashfully smiled. “I…I realize it’s rude for me to turn down your…your specialty dish but am…it may surprise you to know that Hylians cannot really…um…physically eat rocks.”
All the Gorons immediately looked at Link.
“Okay yes, well…ninety-nine percent of Hylians cannot physically eat rocks.”
“Hmm.” Bludo stroked his beard. “Hey…one of you get some hard-boiled eggs for the Princess. Better than nothin’.”
Zelda blinked as one of the Gorons left. “You…you eat hard-boiled eggs?”
“Mmm, yeah….nothin’ but a little snack for us…but, we can’t have you goin’ hungry.”
Link looked from Zelda to the Goron Boss, part of him wished he mentioned the hard-boiled eggs thing before Link just ate a rock roast and a half. His teeth wished for that, at least.
While they eventually got around to seeing the Divine Beast. It wasn’t without Link and the Gorons doing various manliness challenges, catching up, and more rock roasts. It left Zelda feeling exhausted by proxy. On their way out of Goron City, her mind was a blur with millions of different worries. Mostly involving the failing Sheikah tech. But it was also fatigued from a culture shock which she, in all honesty, didn’t mesh well with.
“…I wish I could hug you, or…or even hold your hand.” She confessed now that they were alone. “But that armor is so hard, and dreadful, I’m afraid my fingers would get pinched or something.”
“Well, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.” Link looked ahead, recalling Zelda’s immediate plans for the next few days. “I think you’re going to like the next set of armor a lot….”
He was right. Very right, in fact.
A silence as they walked through the desert. “Princess, you’re staring.”
“You must forgive me.” Her cheeks burned. And Link had a feeling it wasn’t due to the excess heat. This time instead of taking the elixir route, they both dressed for the weather. Link was back into the lovely vai clothes, while Zelda wore a similar outfit. Exposed midriff, her blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail. The thin pants she wore left little to the imagination. It was difficult to tell who was checking out the other more frequently. Link’s outfit had those turquoise and soft purple tones, while Zelda’s was a royal blue, similar color to most of her other clothing.
Link huffed. “I’m just…I’m just doing what I have to do to…to survive in this town, you know?” A beat. “I mean, the law states that….”
“So…so you’re telling me…that, that every time you needed to do business in Gerudo Town…you, you had to—”
A sigh. “Yes. Yes I did.”
“And…and did anyone ever notice that you were—”
“No…no they didn’t….” Another beat. “Aside from Riju and her guards.”
Her breathing was shaky. She seemed very excitable, for whatever reason. Link was pleased she was in a better mood compared to Death Mountain and Goron City. But she seemed to be acting a little out of sorts. Maybe no one else would notice.
“You look so adorable….” She gushed.
His face turned bright red, “Yeah, yeah…keep it in your pants. Business first, then pleasure, right?”
“Mmm…yes.” A breath to compose herself. “I’ll behave.”
When they reached the front entrance to Gerudo Town, not only did the guards let them pass, but it seemed they recognized Zelda immediately. The announcement she made to broader Hyrule likely helped in that regard. “Ah, Princess Zelda…we shall secure an audience with the chief immediately!”
Zelda timidly waved. “No rush, please…please take your time.”
They passed through town, escorted by a pair of Gerudo guards. Link eyed around the place. A lot of the Gerudo and other travelers looked at the two of them like they were celebrities. “It’s been a while since I’ve last been here.”
Zelda swallowed hard. “Everyone’s staring….” She muttered.
“You get used to it.” Link said, though Zelda made a face at the blasé attitude.
Inside the palace, the two guards bowed at their chief, before departing back to the front gate. Riju beamed the second she saw Zelda and Link, who were also bowing for the moment. “Princess Zelda! It’s so good to see you again!” She excitedly hopped off her throne, closing the distance and squeezing Zelda into a tight hug in record time. Zelda was surprised, but she returned the hug in kind, a small smile of her own.
Buliara smirked as she watched the display. Riju stammered and broke the hug, “You…you must forgive me. I…you were very close to Lady Urbosa, if…if I recall correctly. I’ve been told so many things about you by my mother, passed down from Lady Urbosa. I…I know I am not she, but I truly wish your stay in Gerudo Town is a pleasant one.”
Zelda chuckled, “You have nothing to worry about, Riju. This town is as beautiful as it was a century ago, I assure you.”
She giggled, “I…I know I technically met you before…back at the climax of the battle at Hyrule Castle, but…but it’s so amazing that I can actually talk to you!” She turned to Zelda’s knight. “Oh, hello Link. Were you there the whole time?”
Link’s brow twitched. He regarded Buliara and Riju with a nod, “How are things going?”
“Splendidly. Thanks again for returning the Thunder Helm.” Riju smiled. “I think it missed its home in the desert.”
For the last few days, Link had been doing what he could to return precious weapons, treasures, or other artifacts back to the cultures he borrowed them from. It was nice to see that it was appreciated.
In a similar trend to the last few settlements they visited, there was various feasting and celebrations to be had. While Zelda tried to worm her way in with a serious discussion every once and a while, more often than not they were drowned out by the festivities.
That night, they were alone with Riju. Buliara insisted she go along with them. But Riju claimed that, should any danger arise, she had the Princess’s light powers and the hero himself at her side. The trio were at one of the upper balconies, observing the night sky.
“I…I can’t believe Vah Naboris is out of commission too.” Zelda crossed her arms. “That must be it then. All four Divine Beasts truly have stopped working….”
“I mean, we still have to visit Rito Village, but…you’re probably right.” Link said, the cool evening breezes felt rather refreshing.
“It is true.” Riju sighed, “Some of our warriors went out to investigate Vah Naboris, but it was unresponsive. Ever since Lady Urbosa left the machine has…er…pardon the phrase, but…lost the will to go on.”
Zelda massaged her temples, “In that case, I really need a team of researchers to go to all four locations to try and get these Divine Beasts up and running at once. They’re of no use to us sitting around, gathering rust and dust.”
“Are you sure it’s really worth it?”
She looked up. “Of…of course it’s worth it. Why wouldn’t it be worth it?”
“Well…forgive me for speaking out of turn, princess.” Riju’s eyes wandered, “But what if…what if this was meant to be? The Divine Beasts, they served their purpose after all, didn’t they? Ganon is vanquished, so now we can prioritize rebuilding Hyrule. If we’re following the tales passed down by time…the task of the Divine Beasts was to immobilize and help stop Ganon. Ganon is gone now…so maybe, just maybe…it’s time to leave the past in the past.”
Her eyes fluttered. “But I…even, even if that were the case…it would still be such a waste of resources and materials…we…we can’t just leave it sitting there.”
“So you can use the talented Sheikah researchers to break everything down into parts.” Riju suggested. “Instead of trying to power them all on again, maybe it’s best to utilize the Sheikah tech for other purposes.”
Link’s blue eyes flickered from Princess to Chief. It was obvious that Zelda was getting flustered. She didn’t want to believe in scrapping so many devices for parts would be necessary. She was confounded, confounded that this child was being the voice of reason at the moment. She supposed it made sense how Riju maintained such a leadership role so young.
“I think it’s an avenue worth going into.” Link spoke up, as if trying to be a tiebreaker. “We visited both Zora’s Domain and Goron City now. We examined both Divine Beasts. Hell, I tried to go back in them, but nothing worked. And the Guardians. I mean, they’re not under Ganon’s control anymore. But they’re unresponsive, deactivated. We can at least break them down for parts. I’m sure Robbie and Purah wouldn’t mind the workload. It’s safe to say we won’t have to deal with anything as dangerous as Ganon ever again. So if it helps rebuild the kingdom, I’m all for disassembling the Sheikah tech we have. Or the Guardians, at least. Maybe we’ll leave the Divine Beasts as natural wonders or monuments or something.”
There was a silent agreement from the other two. And lighter conversation followed. Afterwards, Riju afforded them very pleasant amenities. A guest chamber of sorts so that they could rest before setting out the next morning. Zelda yawned, “What a day…I’m exhausted.”
Link took off his cloth mask, sniffing cool, desert air. “You must be. We didn’t stay overnight at Goron City.” He smiled, riskily pushing the envelope. “Or is that just because you’re not a fan?”
A weary smile as Zelda turned back. Beforehand, she couldn’t tear her eyes away from the plush, purple bed they were granted. She was tired, yet antsy. “Well…I know they mean well, at least.”
“Sorry about earlier, by the way….” Link’s eyes darted around. “Uh…interrupting your um…thought process, by suggesting we dismantle some of the Sheikah Tech. I uh…I didn’t mean for, for anything to be set in stone…and, and the last thing I wanna do, is talk over you, so…so….”
“It’s alright.” Her smile grew. “I always value your opinion, Link. Please, don’t be afraid to have your voice be heard.”
His cheeks flushed pink for a moment, as a short, timid nod followed. “Right.”
She felt a pleasant quiver. He was driving her mad in that outfit. And seeing his cute, shy demeanor only added fuel to the fire. She closed the distance, kissing him fiercely, more handsy than Link could ever recall.
Link sputtered as he was backed into a wall. She was groping his rear like there was no tomorrow. And her plush thigh kept brushing against his cock as she pressed herself against him. Link was gasping for breath between kisses. “Whoa girl….” He framed his hands on her shoulders.
Zelda was panting as well. “I’ve wanted to tear you apart all day in that lovely outfit…and now, and now I’ve finally got you alone….”
“Okay but…we gotta be careful, right? We might wake up Riju, Buliara, or the other guards….”
“Simple. We’ll just stay silent then.”
Oh, fat chance of that ever happening.
He let her have her way with him for a moment. Let her take control. Before he lurched forward, grabbed her ponytail and swapped places with her. Zelda gave a surprised grunt, followed by a yelp mixed with a groan as Link then forced her so that her face was merely inches from the wall, her backside facing him. His grip on her hair, playful, yet absolute. He bit her neck gently, causing her breathing to hitch, as he wantonly thrusted against her rear.
“Oh…oh Link….” Zelda moaned with what little breath she had left.
He was humping her ass with such force, the two of them nearly lost all sense of where they were or what they were doing. Eventually Link came to his senses enough to hike both their trousers down so that his outfit wouldn’t be ruined from some premature excitement. He was still holding her soft silky hair, still leaving trailing kisses, as he started to take her from behind.
“Link…you, y-you’re r-really going to….” Zelda trailed off.
Link let his actions speak louder than words, as he slowly eased into her. As he assumed, any predictions on Zelda being quiet immediately went out the window once he worked up a rhythm. They hadn’t done it from this angle before, so there were slight growing pains, but it eventually felt ecstatic for both parties.
By the time Link came after her, even he was making quite a bit of noise. It was a wonder they didn’t get caught or scolded for all the noise they were making. But Link was too busy fucking the princess from behind. Fucking her against the wall as Zelda frantically tried to brace herself with white knuckles. The wanton moans and shameless cries were soon replaced by placated sighs and panting, however.
If Zelda wasn’t tired and sore before, she surely was now. “I…I think it’s time for us to head to bed…now….”
Link smirked, “Think so.” He watched her hips shudder. She could barely stand.
“Yes, quite.” She noted as they both pulled their pants back up. “My feet are killing me….”
“Why didn’t you lead with that?” Link hurried after her. As she reclined on the bed, he gently took her shoes off, giving her a foot massage.
Zelda sighed as he rubbed her sore feet. Sighed nearly as loudly as when they just had sex. But it followed with a giggle. Because by now she knew that there would be a round two in store.
As he got closer, used his tongue, his mouth, Zelda relaxed further. “Harder, Link….” She urged gently, “Bite harder.”
“Harder?” Link asked, but he shrugged and bit down on the arch of her foot a tad harder, causing Zelda to croon something sweet. He chewed on her foot, stuffing it into her mouth and running his tongue all over the expanse of it. She groaned in response, smirking when she slowly but surely saw a tent being pitched in those lovely vai pants of his.
He soon moved up, kissing her bare stomach, her navel, before scooting down and kissing her inner thighs, teasing her entrance with his finger, before she begged him to get on with it.
It was hard to believe the two of them were still mostly clothed. It was in light, desert garb, but still. Once they corrected that by undressing (or in Zelda’s case, Link helped her undress, as she was much too exhausted to do so herself), he soon plunged into her at the princess’s behest like it was second nature. He found little to no resistance, as she was plenty slicked up from their first bout.
Again he found solace in fisting some of her golden, silky locks, moaning into the pillow. If one of them would try and keep quiet, it would be he, as Zelda was content with sighing at the ceiling. Once again getting pummeled by his love. A certain soreness that felt so good. They’d both be feeling sore by the time they came down from this high.
Just like their first time together, Zelda was asleep in minutes, maybe even quicker. Link laughed quietly to himself, making sure she was warm and cozy in his arms, in the blankets. He had once again fucked the princess to sleep. It was hard to get her to relax, to sit still. If this was the only way to do so, Link wouldn’t question it.
