[Podfic] Runaway Robin

Summary:

One night, Robin spots a kid with an overnight bag on a rooftop, and he jumps to the obvious conclusion: the kid's trying to run away. The kid is doing a really bad job of it, though, and that's the sort of thing Robin just has to correct.

Except the kid is Tim Drake, and Tim isn't actually trying to run away. But "running away" does sound a little better than "stalking bat-themed vigilantes through the crime-infested streets of Gotham every night." So he lets Robin have this one.

Besides, that's the end of it, right? Robin might have found Tim once, but no one ever looks for Tim a second time. Robin can think whatever he wants. They'll never see each other again.

(They see each other again.)

Notes:

Another one of my favorite fics! The concept of Tim pretending to be his classmate to cover his tracks and Jason and Dick believing it up until the very end is so good. It's definitely one I come back to a lot and I had a ton of fun with it. Hope I was able to do it justice!

This is my first time recording in my new apartment, which had a much worse echo than I thought there was until I was editing. I tried to remove it, as well as some audio peaks, but I'm not sure how well that all worked out. If there are edits to this later, it'll probably be related to that. But yes, note for next time me: see if I can bring some blankets into the room and maybe reconfigure my mic lmao

As always, if you listened and enjoyed, please don't hesitate to drop a comment below!! Or if you noticed something weird when listening, let me know and if it's fixable I'll take a look at it. Also go on over to the original story and let the author know if you liked it too!!
