It’s always Raphael who struggles the hardest.
Michaels die broken, if they die at all. Lucifers are already so torn up and rotted from the inside that they can’t fight back. Gabriels give in, like they were waiting for an excuse to.
Raphaels need to be suffocated if the Empty wants to get any rest. This one is no different.
“You don’t understand!” Their wings flail uselessly, already trapped in the tar pit. “Castiel has made himself God! He will kill everyone!”
“Be quiet,” the old Shadow hisses. If Raphael screams, they might wake a Gabriel. “Go to sleep, pest.”
