Chapter Text

“Marcel?” Porco called out.

The two of them got separated in the forest. Porco frowned when he heard no response.

The cool breeze from the autumn fall made him shiver as he continued on the path. After a minute of walking he called again. “Marcel, where are you?”

It was unlike him to wander off too far from him. Him and his brother always were almost a few feet from each other when it came to going for a walk.

Porco froze when he heard a loud snap nearby. Maybe Marcel was pulling a prank on him?

“Marcel this isn’t funny..” Porco growled under his breath as he approached the sound.

He froze.

That wasn’t Marcel at all. He didn’t even know what this creature before him was. The creature looked human enough but what made him have a feeling it wasn’t was the fangs and unusually pale skin. It had cold dead eyes that seemed alert as it sniffed the air with almost disatificatation. It seemed to be hunched over something, a deep red liquid dripping from the fangs it bore and landing on its face.

When Porco examined further he saw similar chestnut hair. His heart lurched.

Marcel was no longer. Just a cold dead body from what Porco could tell. Marcel didn’t seem to die of fear, he had a somehow peaceful look on his face.

What does he do? Does he run? Does he stay where he was until it goes its own way or kills him?

The creature let out a loud horrible screech of alarm as it got shot by something. Porco felt absolutely terrified. Before he knew it a blonde haired man appeared and flung himself at the beast, pinning its arms down before swiftly stabbing what it’s heart could be with a wooden stake.

It ended just as quickly as the fight started. If you can even call it one as the creature had no chance to even think.

The man seemed to notice Marcel's body and let out a sad sigh. “Way too young to be leaving this world.” He murmured quietly as he wrapped what looked to be a blanket around his body carefully. He wasn’t planning on getting rid of his body to hide evidence was he?

Without thinking Porco jumped from where he hid. “Get your hands off my brother!” He yelled. The man looked startled, before it changed to a look of pity.

“Do you perhaps have a village you live in? So he can be properly buried?” The man said instead, gently laying the lifeless body down on the floor.

Porco frowned deeply but nodded. “Okay, please take me there. And is it okay if I can carry him?” Porco just nodded again.

The man lifted the corpse with careful movements as though he were fragile. “I see you're protective of him. Is he a relative of yours?”

“He was my big brother.” Porco responded softly, his eyes on the hand that peeked out of the blanket. The man frowned softly but nodded as he followed Porco who took the lead.

Chapter Text

Porco walked alert.

It’s been ten years since the vampire attack that killed Marcel. He was lucky enough Zeke was there to save him, and later trained him to be a vampire hunter.

His main goal was to understand more about vampires as he fights them. There was so much he and many others didn’t understand about them.

A loud crunch sound could be heard nearby.

Just as quick as he heard it he turned around a frown on his face as he grabbed the knife that was residing in his holster. Just as he expected it was indeed a vampire. Its teeth bared and had that same crazed look in its eyes that all the others he came by had.

It seemed to take notice that it was spotted and instead of fleeing as most do it jumped forwards in an attempt to tackle him to the ground.

It didn't take much effort to side step quickly to avoid the other, much to the creature's dismay as it awkwardly stumbled beside him.

Porco quickly swung at the creature before it stood, leaving a quick clean cut at the side of its neck. It screeched before jumping at him against this time successfully knocking him down with a loud thud, knocking most of the air out of his lungs causing him to struggle to recover in the amount of time he usually would be able to.

He curled his lip in disgust at the smell of iron filling his senses. Most likely it was human blood by the blood stained lips that it snarled at him. In the second it snarled at him, he recovered just enough strength to quickly stab it through the heart, causing it to lurch and scream in pain as it stumbled away before falling to the ground lifelessly.

“That was unpleasant.” He mumbled to himself as he stood up, wincing a little at the pain in his lower back. He was about to brush the dirt off his pants until he heard nearby forestry become disturbed with quiet rustling.

“Another?” He questioned, in slight panic as he hadn't retrieved his knife.

To his surprise however it wasnt another one of those horrid beasts. Or at least he thinks so.

“That's surprising I thought for sure you were going to get killed.” Was the voice he heard, it was raspy but had a pleasant warmth in the tone of his voice.

When he had a good look at this person he blinked, confused. He looked human, human enough to not even be considered to be a vampire. He didn't have the pale ghost-like skin they had, he didn't have what looked to be greasy strands of hair nor did he have those dark red eyes that usually shone in interest when it laid eyes on a human. Instead he had pale blonde hair and honey brown eyes.

But he still couldn't shake the feeling of him being one. It was a gut feeling of his that he usually knew was right.

“What is that supposed to mean?” Was his response instead, he wasn't too sure if this man was even human, it was just unsettling that he showed himself almost after he killed what was most definitely a vampire. He heard Zeke talk about vampires that looked shockingly human that usually leered the prey before killing them. The only real way to be sure was to check their teeth, as they'd have long fangs like a snake compared to a human's teeth. However he couldn't exactly see that far as of the distance.

Porco began to make his way to the dead carcass to retrieve his knife, keeping an eye on this strange man as he did so. He didn't feel too comfortable being with a complete stranger without something to keep himself safe after all.

“It just looked like you were going to die. It did knock you down to the ground after all. That's usually how they kill their prey by pinning them first before going in for the kill.”

The response was odd, he seemed to know more about vampires than he did himself. Of course this stranger could possibly be a vampire hunter himself or a villager who just likes to take cautious steps. But the feeling of him not being either was still strong.

“Well it’s a good thing I killed it before it killed me. Why are you even in the forest this late at night anyways?” Porco questioned. He may as well try and get answers out of whoever this is. The man frowned. “I could be asking you the same.” He responded, a bit snappish.

Porco shrugged, “Just a traveling vampire hunter.” He may as well say that to see his reaction. But there was hardly any more than what seemed to be an annoyed look. “That explains a lot.”

“Aren't you going to answer my question?” Porco huffed back. The blonde narrowed his eyes at the other before answering.

“I'm just out getting food. That's all.” Was the unnerving response. Porco glared. “In the dark where you can't see?”

The taller one just chuckled. “You're a vampire hunter, correct? I think you can put the pieces together.”

Porco took a quick step back in response. He practically just answered his suspicions for him. But something wasn't right. Why would he wait for him to be killed? Vampires don't share ‘food.’ They just fought, and most of the time it ends up having the other heavily wounded to the point of death. They never waited for the death of a victim.

“Were you just waiting for the moment to strike in for the ‘kill’ or something?” He questioned.

“You sure like to ask questions. I thought you vampire hunters knew every single thing about us vampires.” Porco glared. “You're not a normal vampire.” The blonde rolled his eyes. “Obviously.”

The vampire titled his head. “I'm not going to kill you. It won't do any good for me.” Porco blinked in disbelief. “That is the stupidest lie I've heard of.” He growled back, keeping his glare stern on the other. The vampire just laughed. “Why would I need to? I'm just simply telling the truth.”

Porco furrowed his eyebrows as the other began to walk towards him. It wasn't menacing, it was almost like a casual walk.

The taller one just showed his hand in a gesture for a handshake with a smile on his face. “Let's make a deal.” Porco frowned. “A deal?” The other just shrugged. “I'm bored and there isn't much for me to do. How ‘bout I just teach you how we vampires work?”

Porco tsked. “I'm not exactly a researcher.” “There's no such thing as not knowing enough knowledge.” He said almost offended. Porco was just puzzled. “What exactly is in it for you? You could just kill me the second I turn my head.” He snapped, slapping the hand away. The vampire frowned. “I have no intention of doing so as I don't need to.”

“What do you mean you don't need to? You have to in order to live like the rest.” The blonde shook his head. “People die all the time. I just need their souls in order to eat.” Porco blinked astonished. “Souls?” “Is that not what I just said?” The vampire huffed before continuing. “Like I said, you vampire hunters know little to nothing about us compared to what you already know. I'm not like the savages you come across.”

“Doesn't that make you just as savage? You still need someone to die just to eat. Plus what stops me from killing you?” The vampire glared. “And why haven't you killed me yet? If anything, you're talking to me as if I'm human.”

He continued, “I don't need to kill someone just to have their soul. Humans die all the time, either from old age, diseases or just accidents. I don't need to get my hands dirty just to eat and that's all I need.”

“Okay so why are you offering this ‘deal’ to me? Why not some other vampire hunter or researcher.” Porco pressed. The vampire simply shrugged. “You're the first vampire hunter that hasn't attempted to kill me yet. Plus I find your personality quite endearing.” He reached his hand out again to show that same hand shake gesture. “So what do you say? You gain some knowledge while I just tag along for the hell of it?” Porco glared. “I didnt even add what I’d like from this deal.”

A hearty almost warm felt laugh erupted from the creature. “Fair enough! What would you like for your side of the deal?” Porco looked down, rubbing the back of his neck. “Would you mind letting me think about it? I'm not exactly the type to know on the spot. Plus you are something I usually kill for a living.”

A chuckle from the vampire. “Of course. I shall wait till dawn for your answer.” The vampire stepped to the side. Porco blinked bewildered. “Dawn?” “I have my ways of avoiding sunlight.” He pointed to a path. “Continue down that path, there is a village not too far from where we stand. When you have your answer I'll know and I'll go to where you are.” Porco scowled. “How exactly will you know?” The vampire just smirked, “I'll let you know if we make a deal.”

Porco sighed. “Fine, thank you I guess?” Before he began to walk down the path that the other so graciously pointed out he heard the vampire speak one last time. “Before you head out what's your name?” Porco paused, it would make sense if they were to make a deal of some kind. “Porco!” He called back. The vampire just smiled. “My name's Reiner.”

Chapter Text

Porco pushed the door of the inn open with a somewhat annoyed grunt. It was a heavy oak door. Who would blame him for being annoyed? He is tired and he feels more drained from the fight and talking to a vampire as if he was an old pal.

When he entered the inn was dimly lit with candles and torches all throughout it. To top it off a cozy looking fireplace was at the far corner, couches and seats were neatly placed around it for visitors. Porco began to walk himself to the receptionist, hoping there will be at least a room where he can sleep just for the night. He really didn't feel comfortable sleeping outside.

The receptionist was a stout old man, his eyes blinking slowly due to the effects of being tired. However the second he took notice of their being a visitor he sat up straight as if he wasn't close to passing out.

“Good evening young man! Cold night isn't it?” He greeted. Porco nodded in agreement. “I just need one room for myself,if you have any open. Any would do.”

The old man nodded and began to look at the list for rooms. “We do have a few open. Anything in particular you're looking for?” Porco just shrugged, “I just need a room to sleep in. Long day.”

The receptionist nodded. “Room 243, here is the key. You can pay in the morning.” Porco nodded before taking the key, saying a quick ‘thank you’ and wishing him a ‘good night’ before heading up the stairs.

It didn't take him too long to locate the room reserved for him, nor did it take him any time to unlock the door with the key given to him. When he opened the door he took in his surroundings. The bed was neatly made and there was a writing desk nearby sitting comfortably in front of the window in the room. Porco frowned as he took note of the curtains being open. He dropped his stuff off in the closet before heading over to the window to close the curtains. He was honestly too tired to even change into nightwear. He did have enough energy to kick his boots off and crawl underneath the safety of the covers where he began to quickly drift to sleep, all worries melting away from him.

~★~

Porco woke up to the sound of birds calling to each other outside of his window. He blinked the sleep from his eyes as he stretched, his back popping in the process of him doing so. What was still gnawing at him was if that vampire, no, Reiner, would hold his word and meet him at dawn. The redhead sighed as he put his hands on his face.

He’ll figure that out later, right now he needs to get dressed, eat, and pay the receptionist for his stay.

It didn't take him too long to put on clean clothes, and to fix himself up to make himself look proper rather than a walking wreck. Before he left however he made sure to make the bed before he left, to give the workers at the inn less work to do. He hates leaving messes at places that weren't his. It was just rude.

After making sure to lock the door he made his way back down the stairs, yawning as he did so. He can slightly recall a sign pointing to where a mess hall was last night. Food is food, as long as it's edible and not dirtied he’ll eat it. Who is he to deny a free breakfast?

He placed his bag on a wooden chair before he made his way to where the food was neatly displayed and freshly made. He decided on porridge, bread and an apple for his breakfast for the day. He blinked in confusion as he saw a stranger sitting at his table as he turned, they were wearing a hooded cloak.

They werent touching any of his stuff so he didn't have much of an issue with them as of now. However there was something similar about them, he couldnt put his finger on what it is about them that was so similar.

When he made his way to the table they looked up and the realization hit him.

“Morning!” Reiner greeted. “Morning, I guess?” Porco responded, cautiously placing his food on the old wooden table. “I see you are here as promised.” Porco decided to continue though, he still looked at Reiner with unease. “It's almost amusing that a simple cloak protects you.” Porco laughed, trying to distract himself.

Reiner shrugged. “I don't need anything fancy. This is good enough for me.” He tapped his finger on the table. “So, what are your conditions?”

“Huh? Oh that.” Porco reminded himself he asked Reiner to give him some time before deciding to take him up on his offer for working with him. It wouldn't hurt to have someone fight with him. It gets exhausting just fighting by yourself. He almost got killed a few times because of that exhaustion and is still alive thanks to luck. His luck will run dry sooner or later and he doesn't want to make his profit if he's just going to almost die every single time.

“My only condition is that you help aid me when it comes to defending myself or others. Nothing more.” Porco decided firmly. Reiner laughed at that. “Wow I was expecting you to just not work with me.” “Then why offer to work with me in the first place?” Porco questioned, crossing his arms as he leaned back in his chair.

“As I said, I don't have much to do and so far you haven't killed me yet.”

“Do we have a deal or not?” Porco spoke impatiently, he already is regretting this. Reiner put his hand out offering a simple handshake. Porco firmly shook his head in return. So it seemed like the deal was made.

“And now, I'm kinda bound to do that so I won't kill you. I wouldn't have anyways but still.” Reiner confirmed as they both pulled their hands away. “Bound?” Porco mimicked, confusion apparent.

“Vampires can't go back on their word when it comes to a deal or pact. We will keep it until it’s complete.” Reiner explained. He laughed in what seemed to be realization. “Like that for example, now I kinda have to explain what we do since that's the main reason for the deal.” Porco didn't find what was so funny about it, but he might have to get used to his poor sense of humor.

“What will happen if you do?”

“I'll end up being punished, that's why it's rare for vampires like myself to even make them. It has to be worth it for us to think about striking a deal with someone.” Reiner replied as if he was explaining a moral of a children's tale.

He looked over to Porcos uneaten food. “Aren't you going to eat?” Porco nearly forgot how hungry he was, and did just that. Luckily his food was still warm.

A few minutes later Porco went to place the dishes in their respective spots in order for them to be cleaned for later.

“I'm going to go get my stuff. I'll meet you in the reception area.” Porco explained as he turned to face the other who just simply nodded and went his own separate way.

It didn't take too long for Porco to pack his things, all he really unpacked was a change of clothes and his toiletries for the morning.

He made sure to lock the room door before making his way over to the reception area. As he said, Reiner sat there bored out of his mind as he watched the fire dance behind steel bars.

Porco paid the room receptionist, thanking him for the food and room before he walked out the door, Reiner took notice and followed almost immediately.

Porco held the door open to allow the other to step out, half expecting him to burn the second he took a step outside but he didn't.

“So where are we headed?” Reiner asked, turning to the other.

“Moor Village. I need to pick something up there from a friend. It's maybe a two to three day trip on foot. I would buy a horse but I don't see any here.” Porco said as he turned to scan the area and then turned his attention to his map. “What even is this village's name?”

“Füilshbein.” Reiner answered, leaning over to look at the map as well. He pointed to where they were to help the other finding it. Porco offered a quick thanks as he looked between where Moor and Füilshbein were. It might've taken shorter than he thought when it came to timing. The quicker the better.

“Maybe we should look around just to be sure there are horses.” Reiner offered. Porco scowled. “I thought you've been here before?” Reiner shook his head. “I was passing through here like you.” Porco sighed in defeat. “Fine, but I want out of here before noon.” Reiner nodded in response, walking ahead of the other so Porco begrudgingly followed.

Within fifteen minutes of wandering around aimlessly they found what they were looking for, and most importantly horses.

“See? And we'll be out of here before noon like you wanted.”

“Do you even have enough money for a horse? I have enough for just one.” Porco questioned.

“Of course, I'm not an idiot.” Reiner replied, showing a bag of coins before putting them back in his pocket. “I wouldn't have helped look for the stables if that were the case.” Reiner added as he opened the door before stepping inside, Porco following after.

The area was small, but it seemed to be just enough for horse supplies of all kinds, from feed to a basic saddle, blanket and reins.

When Porco closed the door the bell rang above him, alerting whoever was working there that there were customers. A blonde haired boy stepped out along with an older man, most likely his father, with black hair.

“What brings you here?” The child asked with his voice, hyper and loud.

“Just here to buy some horses.” Porco responded. The older gentleman nodded, but he gave Reiner a more studied look.

“We might have a horse that'll be able to carry you.” He spoke as he walked around the taller, mentally taking notes on his height and possibly his weight too.

Reiner watched him with curious eyes as he stepped back in front of him before he moved to one of the doors at the back of the little shop. When he opened the door, stables were shown showing a good handful of horses. “Mind standing next to one of the horses I have in mind?”

Reiner shook his head. “No, not at all!” He answered as he walked towards the other.

“You can come with, if you'd like, red-head.” The young boy spoke to Porco, tugging at his hand. Porco had to put down the small bit of annoyance building up inside him from the nickname because of the color of his hair. He could see Reiner trying to hold back a laugh as well, which resulted in Porco rolling his eyes as he allowed the kid to guide him to the stables by hand.

Reiner and presumably the relative of the young boy followed not too soon after.

“You can look around and see which horse suits you best.” The black haired man told Porco as he had Reiner follow him to the end of the stables, where a good few large horses rested.

And Porco did just that.

He wasn't too picky when it came to horses just as long as they are healthy and they’d last for a few long years. He never looked for a flashy horse either, though he doesnt mind having a beautiful horse as his own. He mainly looked to see if they had temperament issues over all, he needed a horse that could work with him.

After checking out the other horses and asking about their temperament, speed and age he decided on a tan Icelandic horse with black marking on the legs and snout.

What was unexpected was how cheap the horse cost, when he went back to the small shopping area up front.

“Is the horse ill?” Porco asked the older gentleman when he was given the price. Only to be even more surprised when he shook his head. “You were kind to my son, most people brush him off so i'm halving the price for you and your friend there as my thanks. We have plenty of other horses to be sold so don't worry about it.” He answered simply, as he handed over the equipment Porco bought as well.

“Oh, well thank you sir. Are you sure about halving the price?” The older, laughed and nodded his head. “I'm more than sure.” Porco nodded as he carefully grabbed what he paid for, doing his best to keep the reins from tangling with itself or the saddle. He kept the blanket for the saddle and reins separate under one arm and the blanket for the saddle and caparison under the other. After thanking him one more time, he went back to the stables to suit up his newly bought horse in order to be able to ride it. He placed the caparison in his bag, not needing it now as its not nighttime and they currently are not resting.

He took notice of Reiner deciding between two large horses, both of which looked like clydesdales. One had a dark brown coat with white markings almost similar to Porcos, but had an additional star marking on its head and more spots on its rear and lower backs. The other had a black coat with white markings on its nose and two front hooves.

He turned his attention back to his own horse, finishing putting the reins on the horse as it was the last piece of equipment as he already put the blanket on saddle on it.

He heard Reiner speak up, causing Porco to give him his attention. “I didn't catch that!” Porco replied back, sticking his head out of the stable his horse resided in. “What’s your horse? One of these two is a male.” Reiner asked. Porco didn't really have time to check, but he did in order to answer his question. “The one I bought is female.” He answered back.

“Okay so it's decided for me that I'll be getting this one. She's a female too.” Reiner replied. It made sense, it was rather terrifying when a male horse ends up getting in a rut, they are more aggressive and harder to control. “Which one?” Porco asked as he led his horse out. Reiner pointed over to the dark brown horse to which Porco nodded.

Porco hopped onto his horse's back and guided her through the open door to be outside. “I got to give you some sort of name. I don't want to refer to you just as the horse the whole time.” Porco spoke to the horse, giving her a small pat on her neck.

“I guess I'll call you Freesia. Seems pretty fitting.” Porco decided as he hopped off the newly named horse, to open the gate in order for her to pass through, as he gently tugged at the reins to guide her to do so. She was a gentle mare, it seemed like. Freesia is a fitting name for the horse if that is the case.

He saw Reiner leading his own horse out of the stable, so he kept the gate open.

“Give yours a name yet?” Reiner asked as he was within a few feet from him.

“I did, her name's Freesia. Yours?” Porco countered back.

“I figured out a name the second I saw her, Passion is pretty fitting.”

“Passion, huh?” Porco responded as he closed the gate, making sure it was locked before hopping back onto Freesia.

“Why the name Freesia? Didn't expect you to know much about flowers.” Reiner asked, as Porco had his mare trot up in order to be at the same pace.

“Well don't judge a book by its cover. My mother taught me, and the meaning behind them. Plus with the right flowers and herbs, they can be good for ointment.” Porco responded back, a slight frown etched on his face. His past wasn't bad, his mother was one of the most kind hearted women you could meet. But it was just what he had to struggle with at the time. Luckily he doesn't struggle with that problem anymore. He’s not going to be all personal with Reiner yet, he can admit he’s warming up to the vampire but he was unaware of the character Reiner had. So far it seemed like he would mock his struggles and dismiss them. He may even treat Porco differently. And he can't risk that.

“Well, lead the way since you have the map.” Reiner called his attention back, snapping him out of his own bitter thoughts. “Yeah I should.”

Notes:

Okay so this was really fun to right! I had to sit back for a while and think how to get them to point A to Point B until I remembered horses are a thing so now they have horsies!

Chapter Text

Porco frowned deeply once he noticed the sun began to set. He knew it would take a day to be at Moor village but he was hoping it would have been shortened to half the day with how they've gotten horses now.

“We should probably make a camp while the sun is still out.” Porco said with a heavy sigh, as he scoured the environment around them. Thankfully it was open field so it shouldn't be too long for them to find a suitable spot. “I agree. I haven't exactly slept today either, I'm tired.” Reiner agreed, a yawn following soon after.

With that Porco had Freesia move off the path and into the grassy fields. There were still trees so he would have plenty of firewood for warmth.

When Porco found a suitable area, he dismounted from the saddle and led Freesia to a tree. “Sorry you'll have to make do with this, but hey you'll have plenty of grass to eat.” He apologized to the mare as he tied her reins to a branch. She simply shook her mane and ate the long blades of grass around her as he undid her saddle for the night. He decided to keep her blanket on to keep her warm, if it got any colder than he would have to put the caparison on her.

He jumped out of his skin when he heard Reiner speak to him nearby.

Porco snapped his head towards the direction of Reiner’s voice. “Sorry what?” Reiner gave a sigh. “Am I going to have to get used to that?” “Used to what?” “Ignoring me every five seconds when I speak to you.”

“It's not like I'm doing it on purpose..” Porco grumbled as he grabbed his tent, which was now taken off of Freesia.

“Kinda feels like it.” Reiner admitted, as he took the saddle of his own horse and then reached to pet her muzzle. The mare let out a happy nicker as she pushed her head into his hand before pulling away and laying down on the grass.

“I'm sorry I don't mean to Reiner. You have to think I usually am by myself. I'm not used to people directly talking to me while I'm traveling.” Porco explained as he brought the tent out of its bag. Reiner nodded in understanding. “That makes sense.” He looked over to the tent Porco was putting up.

“How many people does the tent fit?” Reiner asked as he made his way to the other side of the tent, helping set it up. “Two people, lucky you, you wont sleep outside like some poor beast.” Porco responded, as he tapped at a nail. Reiner laughed, “Thought you'd consider me to be one.” He teased. “Don't tell me you're getting used to me already.”

Porco rolled his eyes. “Your decent company so far as long as you don't try to kill me in my sleep.”

“As I've said, I have no interest in harming you.” Reiner reminded.

After a few more minutes of struggling with the tent it was finally put up, Porco having Reiner shake it with a good amount of strength to make sure it was able to withstand harsh winds.

“Well I'm going to sleep.” Reiner yawned, his own sleeping bag under his arm as he made his way into the tent. “Don't you need to eat? And it's night time.” Porco asked as he poked his head into the tent himself.

“I didn't sleep at all today or last night so it's not going to kill me if I sleep at night. Secondly, I already had my fill a while ago.” Reiner responded as he undid his sleeping bag, evenly spreading it out across the tent as he did so. “How long ago?” Reiner looked deep in thought at that. “Maybe, a week and a half? I don't need to eat all the time, as long as a soul has a long life it can last me for a good while as long as I don't use too much energy. The soul I had could last me maybe three weeks.”

Reiner said as he sat down, taking the cloak off with ease as he began to fold it. “I'll ask how that works later. I gotta go catch myself dinner.” Porco said with a sigh as he took his head out of the tent. He had a few iron pellets that he could use to maybe catch a rabbit. If those don't work a simple snare would be enough, he’d just have to do the dirty work by hand.

“I can help.” Reiner offered. “I thought you were going to sleep?” Reiner was back out, cloak secured on him. “I’ll live, plus I don't think you can see that well in the dark.”

“Do you even know how to hunt?” Porco pressed as he stepped to the side. Reiner rolled his eyes. “Of course I do, I was once human you know?” Porco blinked in surprise. Was that even possible? That was considered a myth, it was just thought they were creatures that simply appeared after the death caused by a victim, but to be turned? He decided he’ll ask Reiner later, both of them are tired and the sooner they find some sort of meal for Porco, the better.

“Alright, come on then. If not rabbits I could shoot a pigeon or a quail. They are rather popular in this area besides rabbits.”

Porco stepped over a small burrow, not wanting to trip over it and hurt his ankle. “Watch your step, there's a lot of burrows and tunnels.” Porco told Reiner who nodded in affirmation.

He was specifically going to an area that he knew rabbits frequented at. It had plenty of grass for them to chew at in hunger, if he’s lucky some should still be out as the sun hasn't set quite yet, but it was getting there.

Porco grunted as Reiner put his arm out to stop Porco from walking any further, hitting between his sternum and collar bone. “What?” Porco whispered. “There's some over there, they are hard to spot but they are there.” Reiner offered as he pointed to a few long blades of grass. Porco’s eyes moved to where Reiner pointed, seeing small movements of rustling.

Porco quickly and quietly thanked Reiner as he reached for his pellet gun, which he had only used for strictly hunting. He waited patiently watching the grass with narrowed eyes for one of the rabbits to come out.

And as expected one did, it was large so it was enough to feed him two meals. He paused to make sure the rabbit didn't suspect a thing and was familiar with its environment. When he confirmed it was as it calmly nibbled at a piece of grass he moved his hand to the trigger.

With a loud booming sound the rabbit fell while others fled for the burrows.

Porco hoped the shot would kill the rabbit instantly, there was no need for it to be in pain for such long periods of time.

“Well done!” Reiner complemented as Porco stood up, as he was previously laying on his stomach to blend with his surroundings as much as he could. “It’s just a rabbit, it's not like I took a wild boar down.”

“Oh I know, but you did a well done aim on its head.” Reiner commented. Despite the fact Porco hasn't gone over and confirmed it himself that brought him some sort of comfort. He never wants an animal to be in a near death experience any longer than it needs to.

Reiner followed Porco as Porco went over to collect the dead carcass. As Reiner has said it did land in its head. That further brings him into more relief.

“Alright let's head back to camp.” Porco confirmed once the kill was secured in the small leather pouch Porco brought, silently keeping in mind to clean the blood out of it once he made some sort of stew for himself.

He is so glad vampires aren't that attracted to the smell of blood from animals. It wouldn't have been the brightest hunting so close to the nightime if that were the case.

As soon as Porco was done making himself the stew, he ate instantly. Reiner slept peacefully in the tent as he did so. When Porco had his fill, he made sure to store the rest of the stew into a small wooden carrier for left-overs. Lucky for him he knew how to re-cook and reheat them properly in order to not get sick.

Porco kicked out the fire with the side of his boot before making his way inside the tent, sleepiness taking over the second he laid down. He looked to the side to see Reiner turned back facing him, he could see the other took off his shirt in order to sleep comfortably and he couldn't blame him. Porco decided to turn himself, catching himself from staring too long as sleep took over like all the other times in his life that it had. Doing his best to ignore the slight burn in his cheeks and his slightly fast heart rate.

~★~

Porco let out an annoyed groan as he felt someone woke him up, gently shaking his arm. Porco turned away in response, tucking his head under his arm.

“Come on, we need to go.”

Porco huffed and gave in, sitting up and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

“Couldn't you have given me a few more minutes?” Porco asked, blinking up at Reiner, who now had clean clothes on.

“I could have but I have a feeling that if it was almost noon you’d complain that I should have woken you sooner.” Porco frowned at the other but didn't give a response back. He couldn't cause that sounded like something that he’d exactly do.

“Yeah, whatever, get out so I can change.” Porco yawned as he pushed Reiner’s arm. Reiner didn’t question him and did as asked, tying the tent's entrance from the outside in order to give the other privacy. He didn't have to as Porco could simply do that from the inside but he appreciated it.

Within the next few minutes he finished changing, grabbed his sleeping bag and other items and made his way back outside of the tent, blinking in reaction to the sudden bright light hitting his eyes.

He looked over to see Reiner fixing Passion’s saddle, making sure it was comfortable for the mare but tight enough that the saddle simply wouldn't just slip off or rotate.

Porco simply ignored him as he began to take down the tent, that being the easy part when it came to a tent in his opinion. As he secured the tent back into its bag he put it next to Freesias saddle.

Fressia looked up at him, blinking sleep away from her eyes as he neared the mare. “Sorry, didn't mean to wake you.” He apologized to the horse, patting the side of her neck in response. The mare stood up letting out a small deep huff in response as Porco grabbed and put her blanket on her. He couldn't blame the animal, he personally doesn't like being woken up either. The saddle was placed on the mare soon after and he had his tent secured on the saddle, resting neatly and comfortably on her back.

“Ready to go?” Reiner asked, having his own horse trot up to him and Freesia.

“Yeah, just let me hop on her and we'll get moving again.” Porco responded, before doing just as he said with a little bit of struggle. He could hear Reiner chuckle in response from what happened.

“Not everyone is as tall as you.” Porco grumbled back. Reiner laughed, “Actually there was someone who was. But that was long ago, he was even taller than me.” Reiner said with a smile, following Porco and Freesia as Porco made his way back to the path.

“Hard to believe that.” Porco admitted. Reiner caught up with Porco by this time. “I'm serious! Tall fella he was, he was 6’4 I believe. Maybe taller.”

“Someone like that sounds terrifying. Looming over you like a tree.” Porco said in shock. Most people he knew or met were 5’10 at the tallest, maybe 5’11.

“Oh never. He was a gentle giant, and wouldn't hurt a bug if it threatened him.” Reiner insisted.

Porco actually chuckled at that. “Alright, whatever you say.”

“So, how much longer until we arrive at the village?” Reiner asked.

“Geez, you're impatient today, Reiner.” Porco laughed. “We should be there around two hours from now. Earliest an hour.”

Reiner seemed satisfied with that answer as the two of them sat in silence while occasionally guiding their horses.

Notes:

I had to write Porco getting a little flustered over seeing Reiner shirtless cause who wouldn't?

Chapter 5: ~A familiar face~

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Porco brightened up at the view of the familiar village overhead. Reiner seemed to notice the slight change of his behavior. “I'm going to assume that's Moor.”

“And you’ve guessed right.”

“What exactly are you picking up?”

“Just some more weapons for defense from the guild there so-” Porco halted his horse in shock.

“The guild would be a death trap for you. How would I explain to them what we agreed upon?!” Porco panicked. He never thought things through until the last second. It would've been a death sentence for Reiner.

“Can't you just tell them?” Reiner was confused on why Porco was panicking about this. “No ‘cause I’d sound more insane than Hange!”

“..who?”

“Nevermind them, where would I have you stay?”

“Do you know anyone that wouldn't make fun of you..?”

Porco leaned his head forward as he put his hands on his face as he tried to calm himself with even breaths so he could think rationally. After a few long minutes passed he could only really think of one person who was the most frequent in Moor.

“Okay I think I know someone. I just have to make sure I don't bump into anyone else and god forbid Hange. They would probably try and dissect you.”

Reiner gave Porco a panicked look the second he spoke of that. “I said probably! We don't know.” Porco responded as he had Freesia move to a trot to the village, Reiner nervously following behind him with his own horse.

The familiar smells of baked goods, and the loud chatter from the farmer’s market grew the closer they got to the village.

“Just try to not stand out as much as you already do. Follow my lead. I'm going to check her house first. She's probably making lunch around this time.”

“She?”

“She’s the only person in the world I could trust, she’s almost like an older sister to me.” Porco explained.

“Her name is Pieck.”

~★~

After a stupidly long time of dodging big crowds, they arrived in the small quiet part of the village, where Pieck lived.

The cobblestones were grown with bits of life, moss and grass popping out between the cracks.

It's not too far-fetched for this to be considered the oldest part of the village as well.

“We're almost there.” Porco offered, turning his head. Reiner looked less jumpy than he was in the more busiest parts of the village. He looked much more relaxed if anything.

After a few more turns they arrived at a hill, where on top of that hill was Pieck's house. Pieck’s house was old of course, like everything else in this part of the village was. But it had this nice cozy feeling rather than an eerie one.

There were many willow and maple trees that surrounded it. A moderately sized garden that spread from the front corner of the house to the side stopping at another corner where the back of the house would be. She grew all sorts of things, flowers were common for the front of the house but more towards the side is where she grew her fruits and vegetables.

Porco handed over Freesia's reins to Reiner after he hopped down so the mare wouldn't run off to graze on Pieck's hard work as he went to knock on her door.

The door opened and there was Pieck, who looked delighted to see the other. “Porco! I had no idea you were coming to visit! How are you?” She spoke softly as she hugged him. It's been months since they last saw each other so he couldn't blame her as he hugged her back smiling. “I'm alright Pieck. How’s the guild?”

She shrugged. “Nothing new.” She peaked behind Porco to see Reiner standing there awkwardly.

“Porco why didn't you tell me you brought someone over? I look like a mess.” She sighed.

“He wouldn't care really, I'm actually here to ask you something and it's about him..” Porco waved Reiner to come over so he did, hopping off his own horse carefully as he walked towards them.

“Oh, is that a clydesdale? I've never seen one before!” She smiled as she walked towards the other, Porco quickly following behind the other.

Reiner seemed to be at ease with Pieck's presence as she started up a conversation. The two chatted to each other helping Reiner slowly get out of that anxiety and discomfort he felt.

“I'm glad you finally got a horse at least! Makes travel a lot faster.” Pieck turned to Porco’s horse, petting the mare's nose before pulling her hand away. “You guys can put them in the stables at the back.”

Porco nodded as he grabbed Freesia’s rein’s leading her towards said stables. Reiner as usual wasn't too far behind him.

“She’s nice.” Reiner commented as they walked away. Porco nodded in agreement. “She’s more mellow than most. I don't think she’d care if I tell her you're a vampire. You haven't shown any signs of aggression so she wouldn't try to kill you.”

“That’s good for me then.” Reiner smiled after he had Passion situated into her own stable, taking her saddle and reins off like Porco was doing with his own horse.

“Well we should go back, horses will be fine.” Porco called out after leaving the stable Freesia resided in.

Reiner was out of Passion's stable then, following Porco back to the house.

Pieck was on her doorstep waiting patiently for the other two, smiling at the others with that same genuine smile Porco knew.

“I'll go ahead and make you some tea. Come in!” Pieck stepped to the side after opening her door, inviting the others in.

Porco walked first, Reiner following closely behind, looking around at the unknown environment.

Porco sat on one of the many chairs Pieck had, while Reiner opted to stand.

“So Pieck, I actually have to tell you something.” Porco brought up. Pieck looked up from the boiling teapot. “Oh what is it?”

“Reiner’s a vampire.”

Pieck’s eyes changed direction, looking from Porco to the one mentioned. She didn't seem phased, not even the slightest bit of shock. If anything, just a look of confusion.

“He doesn't look like one.” Pieck walked to Reiner inspecting him.

“It’s because I can blend in. Plus the ones you come across are definitely different if you compare us. I look more human than they do.”

“Shouldn't you have fangs?” Pieck gently grabbed Reiner’s jaw and tilted his head back looking for the fangs she was talking about. Porco was a little surprised with how curious she was about him rather than fearful.

Reiner pushed Pieck's hand away and showed them quickly, no longer restricting them as they settled below his bottom lip. Porco noticed he did it so Pieck wouldn't accidentally get nicked.

“Oh! You keep them hidden almost like a snake! Interesting!”

“I was expecting you to be alright with this but not, this laid back about it.” Porco spoke up, as Reiner retracted them back quickly as if they weren't there to begin with.

“He hasn't tried to kill me, plus he doesn't look to be the type to kill. Strangely enough he seems more like a teddy bear than a blood thirsty beast.”

Porco snickered at the teddy bear comment, for the first time in a while Reiner shot an embarrassed glare at Porco.

“How did you two even meet?” Pieck asked as she went back to grab the teapot, and poured three even cups for each of them.

“He literally just appeared out of nowhere after I killed one.” Porco said simply.

“I didnt appear. It's like I said I was looking for something to eat.” Reiner argued. Pieck looked a little shocked at that. That’s when Porco quickly spoke up again.

“He doesn't kill people, he just eats the souls of those already dead.”

“How is that any better? He can just kill someone and eat.” Pieck said a little alarmed, Reiner seemed to have tried to make himself look smaller by having his head hung low as he nervously fiddled with the cup he was holding.

“People die all the time, not just from being attacked. People can die from old age out of nowhere.” Porco argued. Pieck looked a little unsure with that but didn't continue, leaving the conversation for maybe later.

“Why didn't you go visit Hange? They would've loved to meet Reiner.”

“Hange might try to dissect him.” Porco spoke nervously. Pieck rolled her eyes, “They wouldn't have, they aren't like that.”

“They have dissected vampires before, it was just in case.”

“Fair enough. So why tell me?”

Porco took a drink out of his tea before answering. “I have to go to the guild, but I'm worried they'll figure out what Reiner is and hurt or try to kill him. I can't have that happening.”

Porco explained.

“If you don't mind, can I leave him here for a bit while I go to the guild? I'll try to be quick about it just as long as Hange and Zeke don't find out I'm there. They’ll talk my ear off and wont let me leave.``

Pieck looked unsure as she tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear. “Well I was actually planning on going over there myself. I have to pick something up.”

“That’s no problem! I was picking stuff up there too, maybe a small gig to get some pay. I can pick up what you need just give me a list.” Porco offered.

“If you're sure then I don't see a problem.” Pieck smiled. She turned to Reiner, “Is that okay with you?” Reiner nodded, “I don't have a problem with it, better this than dead.”

“Alright then. Let me go get that list for you.” Pieck concluded, taking a sip from her tea before putting the cup down and going up to find some paper and ink, leaving the others alone.

Porco saw from the corner of his eyes Reiner taking off his cloak. Porco decided to turn his attention away, finding it odd that taking off a cloak of all things made him feel strange.

Pieck came back with a piece of paper in her hand and a smile on her face. “Okay here's the list! It's not much and here's my pouch for what needs to be paid, don't be spending a coin on me.” She explained handing the paper to Porco. Porco cleared his throat and nodded, standing up.

“Alright I'll be back. See you around.” He spoke as he made his way to the door to get Freesia.

Reiner waved a small goodbye as Porco exited the door.

Chapter 6: ~Unexpected visitor~

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Porco could hear the commotion get louder and louder the closer he got to the guild. Oddly enough, it was comforting. Porco hopped off Freesia’s back and led her to a post where a few other horses were, some were drinking water while others were grunting and huffing at each other, some clacking their teeth at each other.

He patted the mare's neck before heading inside the guild.

The second he opened the door the noise grew louder. Some people were chatting amongst themselves, some were drinking due to the tavern connected inside the guild while others, like himself, were just here to get equipment and leave.

Porco could see some familiar faces, and others waved to him in greeting.

All Porco really needed was more stakes, he only had a small handful and that wasn't going to last him much longer. He looked over Pieck’s handwriting and read what she needed. It looked like she needed stakes as well and thank god she specified how many. She also needed some herbs, and healing ointments as well.

Porco shrugged, it was simple enough.

He also needed a crossbow, his old one was shattered and unusable after a tough fight with a vampire. It was his favorite as well which pissed him off to no end. He just had to hope they have one similar to that or one just like it. If anything else catches his eye that might help him, he might get it.

Porco let out a small grunt after bumping into someone. Porco cursed at himself for not paying attention. “Oh sorry-” His words caught in his throat upon realizing who he bumped into. Not Hange, not Zeke but Annie of all people.

Annie wasn't short tempered but if she was already in a sour mood he had to prepare to get his ass kicked. She looked unbothered and shrugged. “What are you doing here?” She asked, Porco noticing both him and her were taking the same route.

“I just need to restock up. And Pieck asked me to get some stuff for her while I was here so might as well.”

Annie turned and nodded. She wasn't one to talk much and god was he grateful. He just wanted to get what he needed and go, he wasn't looking to chat much right now. And he was even more thankful she wasn't previously upset, so he would be safe from any kicked shins and bruises.

They quickly parted ways as Porco spotted the small built in shop he was looking for, waving goodbye to the other before going inside. She gave a small wave back.

He could see that some other people were in here as well, thankfully no sign of Hange or Zeke in sight.

He made quick work to get what he and Pieck needed, making sure to double check Pieck’s list to make sure he had everything. By the time he was done with that, something caught his eye.

It was a cloak, and it looked to be Reiners size surprisingly. Porco could remember how worn Reiners was and he might as well get this for him. It’s not like he needed to and hopefully the other would just simply take it as a gift. With that he had them checked out and made his way back outside of this small little built in shop. Porco’s things were in a separate bag from Piecks. He decided to carry the cloak he bought for Reiner since it didn't fit inside the leather bags that the shop provided.

Now he just needed to check out what small jobs they had available for a little extra money.

As he made his way over to the board, he jumped when he felt someone's hand pat his shoulder.

In reaction he snapped his head over and had to suppress an annoyed groan.

“Hi Hange..” Porco responded instead. “Hi! Wow I wasn't expecting you to be here! What's that cloak for?” Hange pointed a finger to the black cloak Porco was carrying.

“It doesn't look your size far too big.” Hange observed. “Well it’s not for me. It's for someone else.” Porco answered, shifting the cloak to his other arm.

“Oh do we have a new member?” Hange asked, their smile wide upon the information.

“Uh, no, I don't think so.”

Hange frowned at that before they smiled again. “Well I have to meet this person! It’s not like you to make friends.” Porco glared, “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“You're antisocial, and you're an introvert. Both of those usually lead to you struggling to make any.” Hange had a point there. “When can I meet this friend of yours?” Porco frowned. “He’s not a friend.” “Oh so what is he then?” Porco tapped the floor with the front of his boot. “Someone I made a deal with.”

“Oh now I definitely have to meet him. I'll meet you outside!” Hange decided for themself as they made a quick dash to the door.

Porco wanted the ground to swallow him whole after that. There was no way he was able to shake Hange off. When they made up their mind it was decided and that's that. He’ll just have to quietly warn Reiner to not be so obvious of him being a vampire when they arrive at Piecks house.

The last thing he needed was Hange trying to dissect Reiner. Pieck had doubts that would happen, but Porco would rather be safe than sorry since Hange dissected vampires before.

After a quick look at the board and deciding all the jobs would have taken too long he made his way back outside. Hange as they promised was waiting patiently for the other.

“Well where are we headed?” Hange questioned, enthusiasm present.

“Hold up, I need to get my horse.” Porco sighed as he made his way over to Freesia who was quietly drinking some water.

“Oh when did you get her?” Hange tilted their head as they began to pet the mare. “Yesterday.” Porco answered as he led Freesia away from the post after she was done drinking her water. “She’s very pretty. She already seems attached to you already.” Hange smiled. Porco grunted as he hopped onto Freesia’s back after he secured both the bags and cloak to her back. He invited Hange to do the same so they did.

“What breed of horse is she?” Hange asked once they were settled and Porco set Freesia to a trot. “She’s an Icelandic horse.” He responded quickly, quietly preparing himself to have his ear talked off the ride over to Pieck’s house.

~★~

Pieck looked surprised when Porco showed up with Hange. He couldn't blame her, but Pieck seemed to quickly understand the situation. Pieck allowed Porco to step into the house first, which should give him enough time to quietly warn Reiner that Hange was with them.

Reiner seemed to understand with a quick nod.

As Hange entered they immediately walked over to the newcomer, their hand held out as a form of greeting waiting for a hand shake that Reiner quickly took.

“So your Porco’s new friend?” Hange asked after pulling their hand away. Their brown eyes examined Reiner up and down as they walked around him. “Is that what he said?” Reiner raised an eyebrow as he looked over to Porco. Reiner was using humor to keep himself calm it seemed like.

“Nah, he said you guys struck some sort of deal.” Hange answered, they were now standing in front of Reiner again. “And he’d be right about that.” Reiner confirmed, before moving to go sit on one of the chairs.

“So how did you guys meet?” Hange asked as they moved to sit next to Reiner.

“We bumped into each other after he killed a vampire.” Reiner answered.

“Are you interested in joining the guild?” Hange seemed to have these questions up and ready to go as if they recited them many times before. “I dont think I'll be of much use there. Don't think anyone will enjoy my company there.” Reiner responded, taking a drink of fresh tea he poured himself while Porco was away.

“How come do you think that? Eveyones really nice, sure they are a bit rowdy but they all mean well.” Hange questioned, their face confused. “I mean unless you're one of those vampires that blend with humans.” Hange laughed. Immediately Porcos face ran cold, while Reiner looked more nervous.

“Oooh I'm right aren't I?” Hange said a little surprised themself. “Please don't dissect him.” Porco pleaded. Hange turned, giving the strawberry blonde a more concerned look. “Why would I? He’s not dead, so I don't need to. Plus I already dissected one.”

“Since when?” Pieck asked in surprise. It was a question Porco was going to ask too. “Oh a few weeks ago. The body was found in an old church.” Hange simply answered. “I don't see this guy as a threat so it’s not like I need to kill him. He’s sipping tea, hardly scary.” Hange patted Reiner’s shoulder.

“Oh I didn't even catch your name! How rude of me. Im Hange Zöe.” Porco felt like he was having whiplash with how quickly they were moving into many different topics in the matter of a few minutes. “Reiner Braun.” Hange looked surprised by that. “Braun is a very common last name..” Reiner nodded in agreement.

“Well at least I know why you don't want to join the guild if its main purpose is to kill vampires if you're one yourself.” Hange concluded, their smile wide as they chuckled to themself. “Mind telling me more about yourself.” Reiner shook his head. “Afraid not, I already am doing that for someone else.” He looked over to Porco to which Hange followed where his eyes landed.

“Oh that's surprising! Never expect you to research vampires yourself Porco!” Porco shifted from being addressed. “Well he wanted me to, he said he was bored. And in return he helps me with my work.” Porco moved to sit next to Reiner so Hange didn't have to move their whole body to just talk to him. It was much easier this way.

Hange stayed silent for a few minutes, other than when Pieck gave them a cup of tea which they thanked her and complimented on the taste of the tea.

“Say Porco, do you mind doing a report on your findings about Reiner? Maybe once a month? It can really help me with my research.” Hange proposed. “I will give payment depending on how much is reported.” Porco looked over to Reiner. “Is that okay with you?” Reiner shrugged. “I don't really mind, it doesn't go against our deal.” With that Porco nodded. “I will let you know I don't exactly have a notebook and pen with me. I’ll have to go back and get some from the guild.”

Hange laughed, and dug through their own bag. “I got you covered on that. I always carry extra notebooks and pens with me. You can have some lead pencils as well in case you run out of ink.” They handed the materials they mentioned to Porco, who put them in his own bag for later, reminding himself to write down what Reiner told him later. And he still had to follow him up with a question he had last night.

“Can you see if you can try and get Reiner under protection by the guild? Again, I don't want people trying to kill him.” Hange nodded, “Of course, he’ll be under direct protection by me since you work for me and he works with you. If anyone did try they’ll be sentenced because he’s a reliable resource of information.” Reiner seemed to be at ease from that, his shoulders didn't seem as tense as they previously were.

“Well I should get going! It was a pleasure to meet you Reiner! You had me fooled at first!” Hange smiled as they shook his hand before making their way towards the door. “Oh and thanks again for the tea Pieck! Porco at the end of each month send your reports. Any of the guilds should have your payment!” And with that they left after waving a quick goodbye.

“I have never been that stressed before.” Reiner sighed as he leaned fully against the chair. “Well at least you're under protection now! We got something out of it!” Pieck spoke up with a smile.

“Also i’m guessing Hange tagged along without you wanting them too?” Pieck continued. Porco nodded in defeat. “I can see why you can't shake them off. They are very enthusiastic.”

“I'm sorry about that.”

“It’s not your fault.” Reiner insisted.

“How bout you two stay for the next few days? That way you can start your report and also have a good rest. You can stay here if you want or the guild, now that Hange confirmed Reiner will be under protection as long as Hange gives the order.” Pieck asked. “Plus I haven't seen you in a while, Porco. We can use the time to catch up!”

“Maybe.. Are you okay with that Reiner?” Porco looked over to the blonde. “Oh I'm more than okay with it. I'm still really tired so I can use the rest.”

“Well it's decided then. How many spare rooms do you have again?” Pieck laughed a little.

“I only have a spare room. Maybe check out the guild to see if they have any. They might but this month is the busiest as you know.” Porco sighed. “I don't want to go all the way back to the guild when I just got back. I’ll check it out tomorrow. Are you okay with that?” Reiner shrugged.

“As long as we have separate beds I'm not complaining.” Porco frowned a little. “What happened to the second spare room you have?” Porco asked Pieck. “Oh I turned it into a greenhouse! Preparing for the winter. Plus that room is never used. I sold everything in it for some extra change to make it into a greenhouse.”

“Including the bed?” Pieck nodded. “Yeah, I'm sorry. I wasn't expecting you to bring someone over. It's just you for the most part.” Porco turned to Reiner who wore a frown as well. “It’s fine Pieck. We’ll just make do with it. Maybe cut it in half or something.” Porco joked as he made his way over to the guest room.

He jumped when he noticed Reiner followed him. It wasn't that he followed him but more startled him because of how quiet he was despite his size.

“You weren't complaining that much when we had a tent.” Porco brought up as he opened the door.

“I'm just not keen on being in the same bed with someone. We had our own sleeping bags. It’s not the case here.” Reiner huffed, almost defensively.

“Is that the truth?” Porco pressed as he closed the door before dropping his bag in a corner so it wasnt in the way. Reiner narrowed his eyes as he stayed silent. “So it’s not.”

“It’s.. too embarrassing to talk about.” Reiner sighed as he sat on the bed. “If you're uncomfortable then I can just sleep on the ground.” Porco offered. “It’s not you at all, you're not making me uncomfortable. I'm just worried I guess.”

Porco raised his eyebrows. “About what? That I’d kill you in your sleep or something if you hog the blanket?” Reiner shook his head. “I’ll need some time to figure out how to explain it to you later. I kinda need to if it's going to be common.”

“Of course. I'm going to go feed the horses, you do whatever it is you're planning on doing.” Porco said as he went out the room, closing the door behind him before he made his way out of the house. Pieck wasn't in sight until he was outside, tending her garden with the utmost attention.

“Got any new plants in there?” Porco spoke allowing his presence to be known. Pieck looked up in return. “Oh yeah I got a few! Mainly just some new herbs.” She said as she pointed over to a small patch where she kept her herbs out, some freshly grown while others were still in the process of growing. “I can make dinner if you want.” Porco offered, Pieck perking up from that. “Oh please do! I haven't had your cooking in so long!”

“Alright I'll tear up your kitchen later and see what you have.” Porco concluded as he continued down to the stables to feed Freesia and Passion.

It didn't take too long to do so, both mares ending up trotting to the front with no problem as they are the oats Porco provided out of the buckets. He decided to stay and brush both mares before going back to check out the kitchen.

Pieck was now inside looking for some spare fertilizer to help the plant's quality. Porco decided it was best to now bug her as he looked through the kitchen for something edible enough for him to cook up.

He paused upon finding noodles. With that he decided on making a pasta based food, making his own sauce as long as Pieck was okay with him picking some tomatoes from her garden. Thankfully she was fine, stating they are meant to be used and not for show. With permission he plucked the tomatoes needed from its sturdy stalks and vines. When he made his way back inside he took notice that Reiner was reading in the living room, his legs nervously tapping.

“Hey Reiner if you don't mind, can you get some firewood? It might help get your mind off things.” Porco offered. Reiner nodded and that's when Porco remembered. “I forgot I got you a new cloak! Just in case the old one gets lost or is in need of repairs.” Porco dashed to where he last placed it and handed it over to Reiner.

Reiner blinked in surprise, probably not expecting Porco to be one to give gifts. He tried it on and smiled. “It fits. Thanks Porco. My old one was starting to tear up.” He pulled the cloak over his head as he went in the search for firewood.

Porco quickly washed his hands and filled a bot with water. He placed a good portion of noodles to feed three people, just in case Reiner wanted some, if not he could eat it himself, into the pot for it to be boiled later.

He grabbed a knife and began to slice the tops of the tomatoes and put them to the side for Pieck’s fertilizer for later. He then began to slice them into cubes to help him smash them and to easily pick out the seeds. After that was done he put them into a separate bowl and began to mince the garlic cloves and onions. He swept them into the same bowl and began to mash them together, later adding some oil, salt and pepper and some seasonings as well and it turned into a nice creamy paste. He decided to add some basil as well, mixing it into the paste to give it more flavor after taste testing it.

By the time the paste was done Reiner came back with more than enough firewood and put it in the fireplace, making a fire while Porco brought over the pot.

“Hey Reiner, do you want to try some of this when it's done? You won't regret it, my cookings great.” Porco spoke the last part proudly. Reiner blinked in surprise. “Sure why not. Never expected you to be much of a cook if I'm going to be honest.” Porco huffed. “Well you haven't tried my cooking. And it's not like I have a portable kitchen with me at all times.”

Reiner let out a warm laugh. “Fair enough. I also have figured out a way to explain that to you. But maybe after dinner.” Porco nodded. “I do have a question, so does eating normal food do anything for you? Like give you energy?” Reiner shook his head. “No not really, but it doesn't mean I can't taste and appreciate good food.” Porco hummed in response as watched the noodles soften indicating they were ready.

He pulled the pot out and made his way back to the kitchen and grabbed a strainer, carefully dumping the wet noodles into it. After that he made three healthy portions for the three of them before placing the sauce he made onto them as well.

Pieck came inside from the smell, her smile wide. “Oh it looks delicious!” Pieck smiled as Porco handed her plate. “Well of course it does, I made it after all.” Porco proudly stated as he handed Reiner his plate before grabbing his own. “Oh you're joining us?” Pieck said surprised upon seeing Reiner holding his own plate of food. Reiner confirmed with a nod. “Oh you're in for a treat. Porcos food is amazing and to die for.” Pieck spoke before she dug into her own serving, humming happily as she ate.

“I bet it is.” Reiner responded before he took his first bite. Porco was a little surprised to find himself waiting for Reiners response to his creation. Reiner blinked in surprise and took another bite as confirmation before smiling after he swallowed.

“You weren't kidding. This tastes amazing.” Porco made a genuine smile from the compliment. “Glad to hear.” Porco responded before he ate his own serving.

“I'm going to be out for the night.” Pieck spoke up. Porco looked over to her. “Job?” Pieck nodded. “It's good money too so I got to get it done. I'm just investigating somewhere for the night. I won't be back till morning probably.” Porco nodded. “Well I'll try and make you something for when you get back then.”

“What do you do Pieck?” Reiner questioned, before taking another bite of his food. “Well I investigate scenes, more specifically vampire attacks but on rare cases where a vampire was shown dead without a record.” Reiner nodded.

After a few more minutes they finished their meals and as Pieck said she got ready to head out for

the night. She hugged Porco and waved to Reiner farewell for the night before she left.

Chapter Text

“So, are you ready to talk about it now?” Porco asked after he finished drying off the now clean dishes.

“Yeah.. I am.” Reiner confirmed as he sat down on a chair, Porco sitting down next to him.

“You might get why I'd be so awkward about this after I explain.” Porco nodded.

“So uh, similar to animals, vampires like me can tend to go through a cycle of some sorts..” Porco looked at the other in confusion. “Cycle?”

Reiner cleared his throat as he played with his hands. “Well I guess you can consider it ‘mating season' or whatever. It's uh, near that time period and I don't want to risk anything. Vampires can be rather aggressive during that period. Or males, like myself specifically when we go into ruts.”

Porco felt stunned. “Is there any way to stop that from happening?” Porco carefully asked. Reiner nodded but he could see his face was red from what was most likely embarrassment. He couldn't blame him at all.

“Usually having sex a day or two before the season starts. Which today or more specifically tonight, would be the last day for that.” He explained, he was nervously picking at his pants as he spoke about this, looking anywhere but Porco.

Porco nodded silently. He didn't know what to add to that. Obviously this was the last thing he expected. He didn't even know that vampires had a mating season. But this did give him an idea, or more so a conclusion to Reiners problem.

“I don't mind having sex with you tonight if it helps.” Porco offered. Reiners face grew a brighter shade of red from hearing that look of shock and bewilderment on his face. “We've only known each other for two days, are you sure?” Porco nodded, “I'm more than okay with it, though I will warn you, I am a virgin so it may take me a bit..”

“For a virgin you are really bold with your words.” Porco chuckled from that, “Yeah I know. Are you okay with this?” Reiner nodded, before asking himself. “Are you? We've only known each other for a few days.. you sure you're okay with having someone like me take that away from you?”

“I offered. Plus I don't see you doing anything against me I don't want to do. I trust you enough.”

“Alright then.. should we take this to the bedroom then?” Porco nodded and both men stood and made their way to the bedroom and an unfamiliar tension drifted around the two the closer they made their way to the door.

When Reiner opened the door Porco practically dragged him inside, closing the door behind them before roughly kissing the others lips. Reiner let out something similar to a surprised groan from the feeling. So far there was no tongue, just lips roughly colliding with each other as Porco held the back of Reiners head and nape.

“Jeez you really are bold.” Reiner gasped as they pulled away. Porco laughed, “Seems like it huh?” Reiner nodded as he moved Porco to the bed before pinning him to it and began kissing him again.

“Mm, are you okay with me making the kisses rougher? I might accidentally nik you just know I'm not doing it on purpose.” Reiner asked as he pulled away allowing Porco room. Porco looked up at him, his face felt so warm and he knew his face was probably redder than Reiners, especially so when he nodded in agreement and opened his mouth to allow Reiner entry. Porco groaned as he felt Reiners tongue explore his mouth, his eyes rolling in the back of his head as he bucked up against Reiners thigh.

Reiner growled in reaction and ran his hands through his hair, moving his thigh to press up against Porcos crotch.

The two pulled away with a wet popping sound as they caught their breath. Reiner chuckled upon seeing Porcos face, his lips plushed and drool ran down his chin. “Never would I think I'd see the day become so messy Porco..” he groaned as he kissed at Porcos jaw. “..can't help it..” Porco huffed but leaned his head back as Reiner began to kiss at his neck though much more cautiously. Too cautious where Porco was concerned.

“Are you okay?” Reiner nodded. “I just don't want to accidentally bite you.. I don't know if you're okay with that.. or if you can even handle it.” Reiner answered.

“If it helps you by all means go ahead.” Porco hummed. Reiner still looked nervous. “It's uh, kind of a big deal for vampires to bite someone during or before sex..”

“Oh? How so?” Porco pressed, curiosity genuine. “Think of it as a marriage. It's like a mate for life, except for more strictly sex purposes.. it's weird.. I still don't understand it. Plus I could seriously hurt you since you're not a vampire yourself.. I don't even know if what I would inject could harm you or not.”

“Inject? Like poison?” Reiner shook his head. “Pheromones. It's usually from both party's. Let's say i'd bite you, I inject my pheromones claiming you as mine and if you were a vampire you'd do the same likewise. It's sacred.”

“Ooh, okay. Got it. That doesn't sound too bad to me. I don't know how long I'll be with you but I don't mind helping you out when you need it.” Porco responded, tracing his thumb softly at the soft part of Reiners neck causing the other to shiver in response from the gentle touch.

“How about this, if you're up for it and if you're okay with it just bite me. I'll try and simulate that same thing and see if that helps you at all, maybe trick your body into thinking it. Just whenever you're up for it doesn't have to be now okay?” Reiner nodded, he seemed to be more at ease now.

“Now let's get out of these clothes huh?” Porco huffed as he squirmed under Reiner maybe too impatiently. Reiner chuckled and rolled off the other allowing him to sit up.

Reiner watched as Porco stripped himself of his jacket. He was in awe of how soft the man looked despite being so strong. Porco took notice and chuckled. “Are you going to stare all day or am I going to have to help you?” He teased as he pulled his sweater over his head, a shirt was underneath. Reiner flushed from that and took off his cloak. He felt his face grow even warmer as Porco began to play with the buttons on Reiners shirt unbuttoning each one carefully.

Reiner watched with heavy lidded eyes as Porco got the last few buttons done before he began to kiss at Reiners chest, his hands gripping Reiners hips to pull him close to the other. Reiner let out a small groan as Porco gently nipped at one of his nipples before gently sucking at it. Reiner basked in the pleasure of Porcos surprisingly talented tongue, leaning his head back as he began to gently pet the strawberry blonde hair below him.

Porco pulled back with a pop, causing Reiner to huff from the loss of pleasure. His nipple began to harden into a nub due to the loss of warmth and the cold hitting it instantly. Reiner gasped as he felt Porco lower his kisses more and more until he reached the belt of his pants.

Reiner gently grabbed at Porcos hair to make him look up at him. Hazel eyes meeting golden. “Not yet for that okay? I want to please you first if you'd allow me to.” Porco hummed and went up to kiss Reiner again after that. Reiner hummed as he leaned forward, having Porco underneath him again, his hair fanned out behind him as some of his bangs got in his face from the slight impact. Reiner chuckled and swept his bangs back into place kissing his cheek before taking Porco’s shirt off.

Porco shivered upon feeling the chilly air hit his warm body instantly. It wasn't too long until Reiners hands began to freely roam his body, gently taking in every curve, freckle and scar. His hands stopped at his chest, his thumbs stroking the parallel sets of scars from Porco’s top surgery years back.

Porco was in awe of just how gentle and careful Reiner was as he did this. Before Porco could speak Reiner’s hands moved lower and rested on his hips as he began kissing at Porco’s sternum before going lower and kissing at his soft chest, mirroring Porco’s previous actions. Porco gasped from the unfamiliar feeling and threw his head back and arm over his face as Reiner gently bit at the soft flesh.

Porco was surprised that Reiners fangs did not penetrate his soft flesh and left a wound after realizing what just happened. Reiner really was being careful as to not seriously harm him and that made Porco feel more flustered than he probably should have been.

Reiner began to gently lick and lap at one of Porco’s nipples causing Porco to discover how sensitive they were from the action, his back arching for more of the delicious pleasure it gave. Reiner himself noticed this and chuckled. “Didnt think youd be so sensitive here, Porco.” He commented as he nipped at the bud gently before making work of the other one. His hand playing with the nub that he was feasting on.

Porco couldn't even respond, a weak whimper was the only way he could as he felt the unfamiliar sensations.

Reiner pulled away, saliva lathering both of Porco’s nipples now. “You look so good right now..” Reiner cooed as he moved a hand to Porcos face caressing his cheek as the other calmed down from the powerful sensations he felt.

Porco chuckled and leaned his face towards the palm of Reiners hand. “I always look good. I know this Rei..” He said confidently, his voice soft and gentle. “Rei huh? I think I might like that nickname.” Reiner chuckled as he pulled his hand away from the other and moved it back to Porco’s hips.

“Is it okay if I take these off?” Reiner asked softly, as he looked up at the other for permission. “Go ahead.” Porco granted. Reiner slid the pants as well as Porco’s boxers off, now being given the okay.

Porco felt his face warm up from the sudden knowledge that currently he was the only one fully naked as his Reiner’s eyes scoured him almost like he was prey.

“I don't think I should be the only one naked here.” Porco huffed at the other with a frown on his face.

“So demanding Porco..” Reiner laughed but did as Porco requested pulling his own pants and boxers off. Porco was a little shocked upon seeing Reiner fully.

“There is no way that’s going to fit..” Porco shifted upwards to get a better look as if he was dreaming. “If it’s a problem we can stop if that's a no go for you.” Reiner said, a little embarrassed from his dick being talked about in such a casual manner.

“It’s not a problem just, nervous is all. Considering it’s my first..” Porco explained as he looked up at the other. Reiner nodded in understanding. “I’ll do my best to prepare you so you can take it. You're allowed to stop anytime if it’s too much.” Reiner recalled as he kissed the top of Porco’s head.

Porco nodded against the other. “Alright..”

“Now I should get back to helping you.” Reiner smiled as he began to kiss and lick at Porco’s neck causing the other to shiver in delight. Porco ran his fingers through Reiner’s hair as the other held him close to his body as he sucked a few hickies onto his skin. Reiner began to trail his kisses lower until he got to Porco’s hip pausing there before moving to his thighs and gently began to kiss the insides of the soft skin.

Porco felt so much warmer than he's ever felt before. He let out a small gasp of surprise as he felt Reiners tongue began to gently lap at Porcos folds. That made Reiner chuckle in amusement as he continued to kiss and suck at Porco gently, causing unfamiliar pleasurable sensations to travel to Porco’s core.

“Feels so good..” Porco groaned, his head thrown back as his hand went to rest on Reiners head again. “Mm, glad to hear.” Reiner purred in response, ducking his head to gently nip at the inside of Porco’s thigh. Porco let out a small gasp from that and squirmed.

“Oh that was cute.” Reiner commented, causing Porco to scowl softly at the other but the other couldnt comment as Reiner began to lick at Porco’s clit causing Porco to let out a sound similar to a mewl as his legs instinctively closed around Reiners head from the unknown sensation.

“I lied that was.” Reiner confidently said before he went back to eating the other out, both hands holding his thighs apart.

Porco was amazed by this, this was probably the best he's felt in his life. And Reiner was very skilled with his mouth or at least from what he can tell. He’s still surprised that so far not once has Reiner’s fangs drawn blood. He was so careful with him.

Porco let out a feeble whimper as Reiner’s mouth was pulled away. The whine was cut short and was turned into a moan as he felt one of Reiner’s gently push into him, thanks to the help of Porco already being relaxed and from how incredibly wet he was.

His fingers were bigger than his own, one of Reiners easily made two of Porcos. And yet Porco felt delightfully filled just from one.

“God I could watch your face all day. You have the cutest reactions, you know that?” Reiner smiled as he kissed Porco on the lips, swallowing his moans. Porco was surprised he didn't find himself getting upset over Reiner kissing him when he just ate him out. He could taste himself on Reiners tongue and surprisingly he tasted sweet.

Reiner began to move his finger a bit quicker before he put two in, stretching Porco out further. Porco gasped and pulled away from Reiner’s lips in reaction.

“Are you okay?” Reiner questioned his tone showed worry. Porco nodded. “Y-yeah just wasn't expecting that.” Porco reassured, biting back a whimper that rose in his throat. Reiner nodded and moved his free hand to Porcos back to keep him secure as he pumped his fingers into the other, enjoying the small moans and whines escaping the smallers mouth.

“I think you're ready.” Reiner concluded after some time, pulling his fingers out. Porco could see the sticky string that still connected Reiners finger to inside Porco before it broke.

“Can I pay you back before we get to that?” Porco asked, as he ran his fingers through his hair pushing his bangs out of his face. “I don't see why not. Are you sure?” Porco nodded in confirmation.

“Alright then, by all means go ahead.” Reiner smiled as he moved from on top of the other to sitting next to him. Porco, if he was going to be honest, didn't think Reiner would let him, he didn't think he'd even get this far when asking him. He stared a little uncertain on what to do.

Reiners' same raspy chuckle reached Porco causing him to look at the other.

“Here if you don't mind..” Reiner said as he gently grabbed Porcos wrist to his length, Porco reflexively gently wrapping his hand around it causing Reiner to let out a soft breath of pleasure. “Just, ah, move your hand up and down like this.” Reiner guided as he moved Porcos hand to demonstrate. So Porco did just that as soon as Reiner removed his hand, keeping a simple pace, speeding it on occasion.

Reiner let out small groans and moans in Porco’s ear as it continued causing a shiver to run down his spine from each time as it showed he was the one making him feel like this. Porco ran his thumb across Reiners tip causing the blonde to let out a low groan, his hips bucking in response.

Porco feeling confident enough sped up his movements to the point Reiner clung to him in return, his moans turning into soft whines after not being touched in so long.

Porco decided enough was enough and pulled his hand away causing Reiner to give the same confused look Porco gave him earlier.

“I want to blow you.” Porco explained, and he swore if Reiner was able to blush more he would after that statement.

“Ah, alright, don't push yourself.” Reiner groaned mid sentence as Porcos hand moved to grip at the base.

Porco hummed in response as he moved in front of Reiner, laying down as he lowered his head to give Reiners dick gentle testing kitten licks around the tip. Reiner gripped the bedsheets below him upon contact with his head lolling back. That made Porcos chest swell with pride upon seeing the display. Gaining more confidence he began to slowly wrap his lips around the other. Reiner shuddered from suddenly being engulfed by Porco’s mouth.

“Oh god, look at you. Fuck you look good.” Reiner cooed, this caused Porco to be even more confident as he slowly began to take Reiner into his mouth more. He wasn't stupid enough to try to take the whole of him into his mouth, perhaps next time if they ever did this again.

Porco felt confident enough to begin bobbing his head so he did. He wasn't perfect at it by any means, drool ran down his chin and he accidentally gagged himself on occasion. But Reiner seemed to be loving each second of it, his thighs even quivering.

As soon as Porco picked up the pace, Reiner stopped him.

“Im going to cum if you keep that up, fuck, Ill cum down your throat later if you want but not now okay?” Reiner groaned as he gently tugged at Porcos hair encouraging him to get off, so he did. Porco breathed heavily and wiped his drool-covered chin with the back of his hand. His throat felt sore but comfortably so.

“Sounds fine to me.” Porco spoke, wincing from how hoarse his voice was. Reiner gently pushed Porco back down and crawled on top of him.

“Do you want to use a rubber? I can't get humans pregnant but just in case you don't want to worry about the clean up?” Porco shrugged unbothered. “I don't really care, if you want to use one though go ahead.”

Reiner nodded. Porco silently hoped that Reiner wouldn't grab a condom and he was pleased when he didn't. Reiner leaned forward and began kissing him again but this time much rougher compared to the other few times they have, it showing the needy desire Reiner felt as he was a little reckless and messy with kissing the other.

Porco spread his legs in order for Reiner to be between them. Reiner taking the hint did just that, both men letting out small groans upon both of their privates touching each other. Porco felt like he was on fire upon feeling the warmth and heaviness of Reiner against him, his cock gently grinding up against Porco but not yet pushing inside.

He felt like he was going to explode any second if Reiner didn't get inside him soon.

“Reiner, please..” Porco begged, grinding against the other who let out a hefty groan. Reiner chuckled afterwards from the display of neediness Porco showed. “Alright, alright. I won't make you wait any longer.” Reiner answered, moving back a little so he could properly line himself up, his cock already lubed up thanks to grinding against Porco who was very wet from their previous actions.

Reiner looked over to Porco just to make sure he was okay with him pushing in and the other nodded. With that he slowly pushed into the other, Porco let out a loud gasp when Reiner’s tip was inside.

“Are you okay?” Reiner checked in, pausing to allow the other a small break to get used to the first inch. Porco nodded, the stretch burned a little but it still followed with that pleasure he was craving so much. Reiner began to give Porco soft resuring kisses on his shoulder and neck as he waited for Porco to give him the go ahead to continue pushing inside.

Porco felt so incredibly stretched out it was almost unbelievable. But once the burning subsided and he began to relax he let Reiner know but slightly grinding against the other showing his greed.

Reiner let out a small grunt as he continued to push inside the next few inches sliding in easily before he paused there. He didn't want to overstimulate the other and he had a doubt the other would be able to take him in one go right now. Perhaps later.

Porco was breathing heavily beneath him and arm across his face as he tried to get used to feeling full. It was so odd yet it felt good. When Porco was sure he was fully relaxed he gave Reiner the go ahead to start moving.

So Reiner did so.

He slowly pushed his hips away before slowly pushing back in, allowing the other to slowly get used to something foreign moving in him. Porco groaned upon the first thrust, closing his eyes as grabbed at the bedsheets below him.

He felt Reiners large hands move to his hips, gently holding them to keep him still and steady as he continued the repetitive motion.

“How does it feel?” Reiner asked, his voice low to almost a whisper as he did so.

“Really good..” Porco answered, sounding breathless. Reiner nuzzled at his neck in response, whispering a small ‘Very good’ as he sped his movements.

Porco jumped from the sudden change of pace but soon welcomed it, his mind felt cloudy and fuzzy as he succumbed to the pleasure that came with each thrust.

Porco though actually jumped up on feeling a certain area inside him get gently nudged. He let out a loud moan in response from the sudden action and Reiner grunted as he moved his hips again hitting that area.

It took Porco a bit to realize Reiner was hitting his G-spot, and embarrassingly so. He personally could never find it, he struggled too in the past with his own stupid and embarrassing attempts to get himself off.

Reiner finding it in a matter of a few minutes amazes him.

“God you sound so good,” Reiner groaned as Porco arched his back as he let out a small whine as Reiner thrusted a bit harsher.

He didn't know how to feel. His core was oddly enough tight and he felt like he was going to explode a few minutes from now.

Reiners arousing groans and harsh ragged pants were not helping. Reiners hand also had a strong hold at his hips as he moved Porco up and down with his hips like a ragdoll. Porco had no objections because he felt too good to have any.

“Close..” Reiner warned a low growl etched the back of his throat as Porco tightened around him, he moved his arms and legs around Reiner to properly hold him.

Porco didn't comment, instead he let out an arousing wail instead without meaning too. That gave Reiner enough confirmation.

Porco probably wasn't too far off himself, he's surprised he even lasted this far. Reiner let out a small whine as his thrusts became more sloppy and rushed.

Porco shivered upon knowing the other was going to cum soon. Porco snapped out of his thoughts as the knot that began to build in his stomach suddenly snapped.

Porco let out a loud cry as he arched his back, clawing at Reiners own, and clamped down on the other as he came. Pleasure made his brain feel drunk.

Reiner let out a loud groan in response and came himself not before sinking his teeth into the other's neck. Porco let out a weak whimper from the sudden pain but didn't pull away as Reiner did so. He didn't feel weak too but it felt as if it was right.

It could have been the post nut clarity getting to him however.

Porco heavily panted and gasped as Reiner stayed like this, his hips still thrusting to ride out his own orgasm.

Reiner pulled away carefully, his teeth pulling out of the sensitive flesh. Porco groaned in response as he clung to the other still, his legs still secure around the other's hips.

“..Are you okay? Did I go too far?” Reiner asked after a few moments of heavy silence. Porco shook his head. He felt so full, had the best orgasm of his life and was still riding off the bliss. He didn't really notice he was bleeding until he looked at his shoulder seeing blood from the wound in his neck slowly dripped down.

“You're.. fine Reiner..” Porco finally responded, his voice absolutely destroyed from screaming and whining. He felt a little dizzy, it could have been from the blood loss and Reiner noticed that too, gently tapping at the other's cheek to keep him up.

“Don't go passing out on me now.” Reiner cooed, kissing the top of the other's forehead.

“Not planning on it.” Porco responded, forcing his eyes to stay open. Reiner chuckled and ran his hair through Porcos hair, it caused him to be in a relaxed calm state. He enjoyed it if he was being honest.

“What would it mean if I bit you back? Would that mean we're a thing?” Porco asked softly, almost weak sounding.

“You don't have to Porco.. If you feel like it's too fast I can wait. You're quite the charmer.” Reiner responded by nuzzling his face into Porcos face, breathing in his scent which smelled like sweet honey and lavender.

Porco moved to Reiners neck and began to lightly lick it,causing Reiners breath to stutter as his body shivered in reaction. His hands placed back onto Porcos hips on instinct.

Porco then began to bite down on Reiner, causing the other to let out a small pleased grunt, his grip on Porcos hips were bruise worthy. Reiner let out a small chuckle as Porco was unsuccessfully unable to draw blood like Reiner did him.

“Clamp and twist.” Reiner guided, a small groan slipping out as Porco followed the instructions in return.

He scrunched his face upon first tasting Reiners blood. He personally has tasted his own which is sweet and had an iron aftertaste. He didn't know if it was because Reiner is a vampire or if everyone's blood tasted different but his tasted almost sour.

Porco pushed it to the side as he began to gently lick up the blood gently trickling out of Reiners wound.

When Porco pulled away he kissed Reiner who returned it, passion filled. Reiners hands blindly moved to hold Porcos face as he deepened it before pulling away, saliva connecting the two until it broke.

“So does this mean we're official?” Porco asked gently, moving his hand to stroke at Reiners defined cheekbone.

“Do you want it to be?” Porco nodded. Reiner smiled. “Good cause I do too, warning you I'm a bit of a romantic.” Reiner hugged Porco, the other melting in his embrace as soon as it was made.

“Do you need anything Porco? Water or food?” Reiner asked after moments of silence passed them. “Maybe some water Rei. My throat hurts..” Porco answered. “Sorry about that, I'll go get you some.” Reiner smiled upon the nickname Porco gave him, as he went to put on his pants so he can be somewhat decent upon walking out to give his new partner, boyfriend? Water. He’ll ask what exactly they are but right now he needed to give the other aftercare that's the most important.

Notes:

I am definitely going to be writing sappy Reiner now after this :)
