Chapter Text
First woke up the next morning with Sprite in his arms, still grappling with the revelation from the previous night. As he looked at Sprite's peaceful face, he decided it was time to confront him about the truth.
"Sprite, we need to talk," First said, his voice gentle but firm.
Sprite opened his eyes and looked at First, a hint of apprehension in his gaze. "What is it?" he asked.
"Why are you impersonating your brother on the team?" First asked, getting straight to the point.
Sprite took a deep breath and sighed. "It's a long story," he began. "Zee took a beating meant for me, and he ended up in the hospital. I couldn't let him lose his place on the team, so I took his place."
First's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why didn't you tell me?" he asked.
"I was scared," Sprite admitted. "I didn't want to lose my place on the team, and I didn't want anyone to know what happened to Zee. I was afraid of being kicked off the team and letting my brother down. He had already been through so much because of me, and I couldn't bear the thought of causing him any more pain."
First nodded, understanding Sprite's motivations. "But why didn't you tell me the truth?" he asked. "I would have understood."
Sprite looked down at his hands, avoiding First's gaze. "I didn't want to burden you with my problems," he said. "I know how important volleyball is to you, and I didn't want to mess things up for the team."
First reached out and took Sprite's hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Sprite, you're my friend, and I want to be there for you," he said. "I would have helped you figure things out."
Sprite looked up at First, a small smile on his lips. "Thank you," he said. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."
First nodded, forgiving Sprite. "It's okay," he said. "But we need to figure out what to do now. We can't keep this secret from the team forever. It's not fair to them, and it's not fair to Zee."
Sprite nodded, agreeing with First. "I know," he said. "I'll talk to Zee and see if he's okay with me coming clean. Maybe we can figure something out together."
First nodded, relieved that Sprite was taking the situation seriously. "That sounds like a good plan," he said. "And I'll be here to support you, no matter what."
Sprite smiled, grateful for First's unwavering support. "Thank you," he said. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
First grinned, feeling a warmth in his heart. "You'll never have to find out," he said, pulling Sprite into a hug.
As they hugged, First felt a surge of emotion wash over him. He realized that he was in love with Sprite, and he couldn't imagine his life without him. Pulling back slightly, First looked into Sprite's eyes and saw the same love reflected back at him.
Without a word, First leaned in and pressed his lips to Sprite's, feeling a spark of electricity pass between them. Sprite responded eagerly, deepening the kiss as they explored each other's mouths.
First's hands roamed over Sprite's body, feeling the muscles tense and relax under his touch. Sprite let out a soft moan, his own hands gripping First's shoulders tightly.
As they broke apart for air, Sprite looked up at First with a dazed expression. "Wow," he breathed.
First grinned, feeling his heart race. "I know," he said, his voice husky with desire. "I want you so bad."
Sprite nodded, feeling the same overwhelming need. "Take me," he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper.
First didn't need to be told twice. He picked Sprite up, his strong arms lifting him off the ground as he carried him to the bed. Laying him down gently, First climbed on top of him, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss.
As they made love, First couldn't believe how lucky he was to have found Sprite. He knew that their relationship was unconventional, but he didn't care. All that mattered was that they were together, and nothing else mattered.
Sprite wrapped his legs around First's waist, pulling him closer as they moved together in perfect harmony. They were lost in their own world, a world where nothing else mattered but the love they shared.
As they reached their climax, First felt a sense of completeness that he had never felt before. He knew that he had found his soulmate in Sprite, and he would do anything to protect him and keep him by his side.
As they lay in each other's arms, spent and satisfied, First knew that their love would only grow stronger with time. He was grateful for the twist of fate that had brought them together and was excited to see what the future held for them.
Sprite looked up at First, his eyes shining with love. "I love you," he whispered.
First smiled, feeling his heart swell with emotion. "I love you too," he replied, his voice filled with sincerity.
They lay there for a while longer, basking in the afterglow of their lovemaking. Eventually, they fell asleep, wrapped in each other's arms, their bodies entwined as if they were one.
