Beau and I looked at the presents we got from Charlie and Rene for our birthday. Rene had gotten us some tools we could use for our bikes, Baby Number One and Baby Number Two and Charlie had gotten me a guitar and Beau a keyboard since she'd found out a few weeks ago about our love for music. "Thanks," I said.
"Yeah, this is perfect," Beau said.
...
Mike, Eric, Tyler, Lauren, Ben, Angela and Jessica had gotten us the camera and scrapbook that Bella's Parents got her in the movie. We took a picture of the group and Rosalie showed up. "Hey, Sexy," I said.
"We're gonna go to class now," Jessica said.
"Okay," Beau said and the Humans left.
"Happy birthday, Beau," Rosalie said. "Happy birthday, Baby."
"Thanks," we said in unison.
"We've got to get to class soon but there's someone who wants to talk to you both first," Rosalie said and we saw Jake.
"Hey, Jakey," Beau said as he checked Jake out and Jake blushed.
"Hey, Jake," I said.
"Hey," he said. "Happy birthday. I made you these." Jake showed us the leather cuffs with our crest on them. A few weeks ago, we'd mentioned to Jake that we once made our own crest for a fanfiction we wrote. It's a black background with a white wolf that has a white swan on its back and a green snake eating its tail in a circle around the wolf and swan. The snake was to represent Slytherin House due to our past family's obsession with the Black Family (who were almost all Slytherins and we'd be Slytherins if Hogwarts was real). The Swan was to represent our new family. And, the Wolf was to represent our Pack (future Pack for now).
"Thanks, Jake," I said. "They're perfect." We took them from him and put them on.
"Just like you," Beau said to Jake and he winked and Jake blushed again.
...
"Happy birthday, Beau, Bella!" Alice squealed and she passed us boxes that looked like the present she got Bella in the movie. "I've already seen you both open them and guess what? You love them! You can wear them to the party tonight."
"Alice, you know we don't want a party," Beau said.
"I'm not going to a party," I said.
"Please?" Jasper tried to use his Gift on us as Alice pouted and pleaded. Damn that pout and damn the plot of this movie!
"Fine," we said and Alice squealed again.
"Happy birthday," Jasper said to us.

The conversation with Rosalie about the Volturi and James happened as it did with Edward in the movie. Everything up to the end of the party happened the same (but it was Rosalie instead of Edward) other than a few things. One, apparently, not only is Didyme alive, but the Volturi Kings and the Volturi Queens rule. The Queens are Mated to each other and the Kings are Mated to each other. Two, Carlisle told us how much Rosalie misses her Human life and the things she could've had if she'd stayed Human. Three, our presents. Rosalie got us both a bracelet with a few charms on them (one of them being the Cullen crest which must've been custom-made and was made out of sapphire). Esme and Carlisle's gift was the same but Jasper and Emmett got us both a new car (I got Emmett's Jeep from the movie in black and Beau got Edward's car from the movie in black). Edward got us both some sketchbooks and stuff to use of them. I parked Baby Number Two and Beau got out of the car and went inside. Rosalie and I had a similar conversation to the one Bella and Edward had in the movie. "I can't..." Rosalie said.
"Why not?"
"I... I wouldn't've chosen this. Everyone I cared about as a Human is long gone and most of my Human memories have faded or are really fuzzy... I can never have kids which is something I really wanted as a Human... I can't do that to you, Bella. I can't."
"I... That's not something I want," I said. "I mean... I wouldn't mind adopting at some point in the far future but biologically having kids isn't something I ever wanted and there's no reason adoption isn't possible as a Vampire if you have good enough control. Sure, it would be a while before I got to that point but I wouldn't mind waiting. The child would notice we don't age and would have to become a Vampire at some point too but we'd have a child forever and--"
"Do that to an innocent child?" Rosalie looked shocked I would suggest such a thing. "Adopt a child knowing we'd Turn them? That if they want kids in the future, they could never have them? I could never do that to a child."
"There are children with illnesses," I said. "Ones who can live a relatively normal life for their childhood but are incapable of reproduction or won't live beyond a certain age. We'd be given them longer than they have, Ro."
"What did you just call me?" Rosalie asked. It's clear she didn't mean to end the conversation but she genuinely wanted me to answer her question.
"Ro."
"Most people shorten my name to Rose... I like Ro. It's something only my Mate can call me." She beamed at me.
"Stay tonight? Please." She looked hesitant but agreed.

It's the day after my birthday and the Cullens weren't in school today. Now, Rosalie's leading me into the woods. She's going to break up with me just like in the movie. "Babe, why are we going into the woods?"
"Bella... We're leaving. My family and I," Rosalie said. "And we're not coming back. You'll never see me again. It'll be like I never existed. What happened with Jasper... I can't risk that happening again. I'm sorry." She used her speed to leave my sight but my Gift told me she was still watching me. I made my way back to my house. I knew this was coming but it still hurts. It doesn't hurt nearly as much as it would if I didn't know I'd see her again in a few months, though. Beau was waiting for me when I got back and my Gift told me that, now I was safely home, Rosalie was leaving. At least she stayed until I got home and she didn't take me far from the house.
"Well?" Beau asked.
"It was... Better than it should've been but... It still hurts, Bro," I said.
"I figured," he said. "Sorry, Sis... Bright side, now we can become Wolves." I used my Gift to make us Wolves and so I can communicate with other Alphas as I am an Alpha. I heard Sam in my head.
Who are you? Who Shifted? - Sam.
I'm Bella Swan. My Brother and I just became Wolves. Who are you and why are you in my head? - Me.
A girl? I'm Sam Uley, Alpha of the La Push Pack. We're Shapeshifters but some call us Werewolves. Why can't my other Wolves hear you? - Sam.
Who are you talking to, Sis? - Beau.
I'm talking to Sam Uley, Beau. - Me.
Your Brother Shifted? Why can't I hear him? - Sam.
I can't hear any other Wolves... Maybe we can only hear each other because we're both Alphas? - Me.
You can't be an Alpha. - Sam.
Why not? - Me.
I'm Alpha. - Sam.
And? That doesn't mean there can't be two Alphas. - Me.
Only Quileutes and boys can Shift but you and your Brother have proven that to be wrong... Maybe you can be an Alpha... - Sam.
How many Wolves do you have? What do you think made me an Alpha and my Brother in my Pack and not yours? - Me.
He's your Brother so maybe that did. I have two Wolves currently. You should come here and meet them. - Sam.
Ok. We're coming now. - Me.
We ran to where Sam told us he was and saw three Wolves in front of us. Sam introduced each Wolf and then the three Wolves went behind trees before coming out a few seconds later as boys. Sam threw two T-shirts and two pairs of shorts behind some trees. "Please Shift back so we can all talk," Sam said. We nodded and went behind the trees, Shifted back, got changed and came back out.
"Hi, Sam," I said. "I'm Bella and this is Beau." Beau waved.
"This is Jared and Paul," Sam said and as he talked, he gestured to each boy. "It's nice to meet you both again." Again... Oh, he was one of Jake's friends at La Push but he'd already Shifted so why did he look like the boys that haven't Shifted? And why does he look so different now?
"Hi," I said. We talked for a little while about the Quileute legends and they weren't happy when I said I wasn't anti-Vampire or that I'd dated one but they still decided we could spend time together and that we're allowed on the Res as we're Wolves.

Over the few months after the Cullens left, Beau and I spent a lot of time with the Pack. We still spent time with Jake as Bella did in the movies. The two Packs, now known as the Uley Pack and the Swan Pack, kept Victoria away from Forks and the Res as much as possible, however, Riley still occasionally got past us and managed to nick some of our stuff and it was infuriating the two of us and the Uley Pack. People started to go missing more but it wasn't very noticeable to the Humans yet. However, spending so much time as Wolves was causing our grades to slip and we looked like Zombies due to the lack of sleep. We're both exhausted. One day, after a long lie-in and way after Jake and Embry joined the Uley Pack and Imprinted on Beau (and then they started dating Beau and changed Packs to became part of my Pack), we decided to go for a hike and, of course, we ran into Laurent. "Bella, Beau," he said in disbelief.
"Laurent!" We said.
"I didn't expect to find you here," Laurent said. "I went to visit the Cullens but the house is empty. I'm surprised they left you behind. Weren't you both some sort of... Um... Pets of theirs?"
"Yeah. You could say that," I responded as Beau stayed quiet. He knew to let me take the lead with this until the other Wolves show up and we can all hunt him.
"Do the Cullens visit often?" Laurent asked.
"Yeah, absolutely, all the time," I lied. "I'll tell them that you stopped by. I probably shouldn't tell Rosalie." I kept the pain her name caused to myself but it was hard. Even knowing I'll see her again very soon, it still hurts. "Because she's pretty protective."
"But she's far away, isn't she?" He asked.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"I came as a favour to Victoria," he said.
"Victoria?" I asked.
"She asked me to see if you were still under the protection of the Cullens. Victoria feels it's only fair to kill Rosalie's Mate given she killed hers. An eye for an eye."
"But it was Edward who killed James, not Rosalie," Beau said. "Edward's Mate is Emmett, the big guy."
"Well, Victoria's under the impression it was Rosalie as Edward made it clear once James knew you were both Human, that Rosalie wouldn't let anything happen to you," Laurent said. Fucking Edward's still causing problems for us miles away! Damn you, Edward!
"Rosalie would know who did it and she'll come after you," I said.
"I don't think she will. After all, how much could you mean to her if she left you here unprotected?" Laurent rhetorically asked but I responded anyway.
"Who said I'm unprotected?" I asked.
"Victoria won't be happy about my killing you..."
