The Year 20XX. Life has never been easier thanks to the Internet, Cyberworld, and Network technology. Everyday life is like a video game! But it’s not all fun. For the past two years, the world has experienced an increase in Net crimes, Terrorism, and an Alien super-intelligence. Yes! The last one is real! And I saved the world from all of them!

“Ahem.” A throat-clearing sound got the speaker's attention. “Realy, Netto. You saved the world all on your own.” a Voice said in a disapproving tone.

Okay. Maybe not on my own.

“NETTO!”

Okay! My brother, friends, and I saved the world multiple times from Terrorists and Aliens.

“There. That’s better. Yesh, Netto your Ego is a growing problem.” The voice said in a playful tone.

That nagging voice belongs to my Network Navigator.NetNavi or Navi for short. Rockman.EXE But here's a little secret. Rockman is more than just a NetNavi, he’s my Brother. Saito Hikari! Shocking, I know. I was shocked too. It’s quite a story, how a human turned into a Netnavi. To know that, let’s start when all this insanity happened.

All the crazy stuff and revelations happened two years ago. Netto was in the 5th grade. His days were Net battling with his friend Dekao, and his NetNavi Gutsman.EXE Being told by his childhood friend Meiru Sakurai to put the same effort into school as Net battling, and her NetNavi, Roll.EXE telling Rockman to be harder and stricter on him. And Shenanigans with whatever new product or trip Yaito Ayanokoji and her Navi Glide.EXE had. Netto had an above-average life. (Thanks to Yaito) But one day Netto and Rockman would be entangled with the Net terrorist organization World Three! Was it sheer dumb luck, coincidence, or fate that Netto and his friends kept getting embroiled in World Three plots?

During that time, Netto met and befriended Toru Hikawa, whose father he saved from World Three, Toru’s father was used as leverage to help them in their plans. Netto also befriended a sickly little boy named Mamoru Urakawa, He's suffering from heartbeat disorder, or HBD for short. Netto met him when he and his friends were visiting Dekao at the hospital when he injured his neck. After visiting Dekao, Netto wanted a drink so he went to the vending machine, a nurse came up to him and asked if he’d seen a little boy in a wheelchair, Netto didn’t see anybody like that but offered his help in finding the boy. Netto found him on the hospital roof, cloud-watching. Netto introduced himself and Rockman. They struck up a conversation, and this is where Netto learns of Mamoru’s condition, and how alone he felt. There Netto made a promise to Mamuto to be his friend, because he understands his pain… Netto tells Mamoru how he lost a brother to HBD, he had a twin brother but died before their first birthday, and he never got to know him thanks to HBD.

After a couple more World Three plots, and meeting Enzan Ijuin, heir to the IPC Corp, and his NetNatvi Blues.EXE At first they disregarded Netto and Rockman, but soon saw their potential. During the N-1 Grand Prix, the biggest net battle tournament in Nihon. Of course, Netto and his friends would join! World Three also entered the N-1! He’ll never understand, how Kenichi Hino, Jack Elecitel, Madoi Iroaya, and Maha Jarama even managed to get in, because at the time they were wanted criminals! And let’s not forget the two robots controlled by Solo Navis.

After several matches and World Three shenanigans. (Rockman got an impromptu BDSM session with Roll thanks to W3. They all agreed to never bring that up) Netto and Rockman made it to the finals. His opponent was Enzan and Blues. The battle was exciting and adrenaline-pumping! The power released by the clash of the two Navis had dire consequences. The power weakened the prison of a sealed NetNavi called Pharaohman.EXE a Navi created by Netto’s Grandfather, Tadashi Hikari, Pharaohman was supposed to be a guardian of the net but was corrupted, he became conceited, thinking he had the right to rule and dominate. Rockman and Blues tried their best to attack Pharaohman, but all they did was irritate the Navi. In retaliation, Pharaohman deleted Rockman!

After the deletion of Rockman, Netto went into a depressed almost catatonic state. He had Rockman since he was six. Netto remembers how excited he was when he first got Rockman. Making the other kids jealous that he had a custom Navi before any of them, being annoyed that Rockman was scolding him, saying he had to act more mature, and he can’t back up Rockman like other Navis. But even with those bumps in the road, He and Rockman become close. After Rockman’s deletion, it felt like a part of Netto died.

Ironically, what slowed Pharaohman’s conquest of the Cyber world wasn’t the Net Police, But Dr.Wily and his Army of shell Navis. All seemed hopeless because whoever wins means doom for the world. But hope came in the most unexpected place!

Mamoru Urakawa and Netto’s father, Yuichiro Hikari revealed that Mamoru is the administrator of the Undernet. That revelation shocked Netto and his friends. They continue to explain, that the Undernet was once a SciLab project, that Mamoru’s father worked on. It was abandoned due to what was happening at the time, so it got repurposed, now filled with the strongest virus, making the area inhospitable to all but the strongest of NetNavis, and the strongest of them all was Serenade.EXE The Undernet King, Mamoru’s Navi. While Mamoru is Serenade’s Operator, he can’t operate her well due to his condition, so Serenade acts like a Solo Navi. The Undernet is the way it is by design, it is all to guard a special program called the Ultimate Program, and that program can be used to revive  Rockman!

The plan was for Roll, Gutsman, Iceman, and Glyde to meet Serenade, so she could hand the Ultimate program to them. Serenade would have loved to help fight Pharaohman, but she had her hands full, she was making sure the denizens of the Undernet didn’t make any trouble. There were already whispers of them joining Pharaohman and his crusade. In the second part of the plan, several teams will infiltrate the Dentech Dome, now the home base of Pharaohman. To try and retrieve Rockman’s data fragments. Yuichiro had a surprise for them, a special helper program named Rush, he looked like a cartoon dog, Rush is special because he can enter the real world! With everything in place. Netto, Dekao, Meiru, Toru, Yaito, the Net Agents, Enzan, and Higure went in. And even the World Three operators, Kenichi, Jack, Madoi, and Maha. Somewhat helped out.

The Plan went a little rocky at times, but it worked! Rockman was back with new power thanks to the Ultimate Program! Rockman and Blues are again facing off against Pharaohman, this time they aren’t easily defeated. During the fight, something happened to Netto and Rockman, they went into Full-Synchro, a phenomenon where both Navi and Operator are linked on a deeper level, spiritual even! This is where Yuichiro and Rockman told the truth to Netto, That Rockman is Saito Hikari reborn as a Netnavi. With that revelation, Netto and Rockman, along with Enzan and Blues give all they have against Pharaohman. The two Navis hit Pharaohman with the Program Advance, Life sword. As the dust styles Pharaohman was badly hurt. Before Rockman or Blues could finish off the rouge Navi, Dr.Wily came in and took Pharaohman! But Pharaohman had a different idea, the Self-proclaimed King of the Cyberworld would rather die than be taken prisoner again, so he self-destructed seemingly taking Wily with him. The explosive death of Pharaohman reawakened another powerful being. Who for the moment was biding his time, seeing how the world has changed in his absence, and finding a way to destroy it!

After that harrowing adventure, a proper reunion was in order. Netto’s mother, Haruka was glad her sons were okay. Yes, she knew about Rockman being Saito, she’s really glad that she can finally be truthful to Netto. Dr. Hikari had asked those present during the revelation about Rockman to keep it a secret, the technology he used was never meant to be known by the world. Netto, Dekao, Meiru, Yaito, Toru, Mamoru, Enzan, Higure, Commander Beef, Myteriyu, and Black Rose all promised to keep it a secret.

While the N1 ended in disaster, Netto and Rockman were declared the winners. Netto suspects this was Enzan’s doing, giving him the credit, but he isn’t gonna turn down the prize! A vacation around the world! Starting from Jyawaii and going across Ameroppa! and the countryside of Kingsland!

And the vacation wasn’t the only surprise, thanks to the Ultimate program Rockman had a new power called Style Change. The vacation staring off at a tropical paradise, meeting the digital Idol Aki, and saving the girls from people trying to ruin a contest.

Touring the many cities of Ameroppa, meeting and helping amazing people Raoul and his Navi, Thunderman.EXE Raoul’s neighborhood was targeted by a corrupt businessman waiting to demolish it. Not if Netto and Rockman have anything to say about it!

Netto and Rock caught the attention of an eccentric rich lady when they were looking for a gift for their mother.

Finally, to cap off the twins’ vacation, They were lured into a trap by, now-former World Three Operators Kenichi, Jack, Madoi, and Maha. They wanted revenge on Netto, because of the humiliation from the multiple defeats they suffered at his hand. The fight was unfair, it was a 4-on-1. Rockman against Fireman, Colorman, Elecman, and Magicman in a curry machine comp. As Rockman was about to be defeated, Netto and Rockman’s friends arrived! They knew where Netto and Rockman were thanks to the Ayanokoji surveillance network. (While Netto is thankful, it is kinda unnerving that one of his friends had this much power…)

After Netto and Rockman got home, Meiru and Roll came over to show them the New Internet City. It was fun seeing everything for the first time. But little did they know that their peaceful day would get dangerous. Somebody hacked into Yaito’s home ventilation system, and they planned to kill Yaito while she was taking a bath. Of course, Netto and Rockman saved her. This attack was the start of a new wave of Net crime under a new organization named Gospel.

Gospel’s operations were much more daring than World Three’s! From freezing major cities to attacking a sovereign nation's net infrastructure, and almost destroying the Cyberworld. Here are some of the most memorable moments of the time.

Ayanokoji Corp's new line of cyber vehicles and to commemorate the release of the cyber vehicles line, a race was held in Internet City. The Prize was a kiss from the Digital Idol Aki. Rush won that race. The aforementioned freezing the city plan using Penguin coolers. Netto and Rockman got help from Kenichi Hino, and his new Navi, Heatman.EXE who was made from the remains of Fireman. During an earlier Gospel operation, Fireman was deleted by Freezeman.EXE the personal Navi of Kid Grave, the leader of Gospel. But thanks to Meijin San.

“Hey, Netto. You’ve got mail” Rockman notified his brother.

The message read. There are no formalities, just Meijin.

Anyway. Meijin gathered up Fireman’s data creating Heatman. Netto was asked by the Net Agents to help infiltrate a costume party that was a possible Gospel meeting. The host was a crazy rich man named Gauss Magnets, and he almost killed Netto and the Net Agents, but was saved by Madoi Iroaya! Allowing Netto to Plug in and fight Gauss’ Navi, Magnetman.EXE

Then there was the time when Gospel attacked the Ayanokoji family again, this time taking all their money, and making Higure the fall-man for the crime.

The now former world Thee operators tried to restart the organization by up. Maha Jarahama, Kenichi Hino, Jack Elecitel (/ Count Elec), and Madoi Iroaya opened a curry restaurant to gather funds in Densan City. Ironically a place Netto and his friends frequented. One day their their PETs were glitching out, turns out it was a deadman’s switch message left by Dr.Wily for them. In the video, Dr. Wily said he had hidden a special chip with a copy of his brain stored on it. Netto and his friends found out thanks to Rush. They already had their hands full with Gospel, they weren’t letting Wily come back too! After the W3 Opts found the chip, Netto and his friends were hot on their heels. After a quick game of Keep Away, Gauss Magnets arrived on his blimp! Gauss wanted the chip and revealed that Jack Elecitel was his brother. It seems like Jack betrayed his comrades, taking the chip and going with his brother, but that wasn’t the case. Jack wanted to battle his brother, and the Wily chip was the prize. Unbeknownst to the quarreling brothers, Netto and Rockman snuck on board the airship, trying to steel the Wily chip. The whole thing ended with the blimp getting destroyed and the chip falling into the icy waters.

One day, at the arcade where Netto and his friends frequently hang out at. A new kid and their NetNavi were beating people left and right. Netto wanting a good Net battle challenged the new kid, and “his” Navi was Knightman.EXE Sadly, Netto and the “boy’s” Net battle was interrupted by people in suits, and as soon as “he” Saw them “he” took off. Netto followed “him,” waiting to help, in case the suits were Gospel and maybe have that Net battle. After hanging out and having fun, the “boy” turned out to be a girl! And not just any girl, Princess Pride of Creamland! And the people chasing after them are her security detail. The reason Pride was running away from her own bodyguards was because she was tired of all the responsibilities piled on her, and just wanted to have fun for the day. And Thanks to Netto she got that. Later on, Princess Pride would call Netto for help. Knightman went mad, attacking Creamlaid's Mother Computer. The reason for Knightman’s madness was Napalmman.EXE A Navi that came to them for shelter but was actually a Gospel agent. After defeating Napalmman, everything was fine, and Netto and his friends said their goodbyes, and left Creamland.

Gospel had started their endgame. It started with Netnavis going missing. Officials were investigating, but it was already too late. Gospel had unleashed its ultimate weapon. A Cyber beast that bears the organization's name. Gospel seemed unstoppable, absorbing everything and in its way, only stopping when it was called back to base. When Netto and Rockman were investigating the areas where Gospel had been, they encountered a cloak-wearing Navi, at first, they thought he was a part of Gospel. But Freezeman showed up, calling the Navi Forte, and said was a threat to them so he was gonna delete him. Forte seemed unimpressed. A fight broke out. Freezeman had Megaman on the ropes till Heatman showed up, almost deleting Freezeman. After the fight, Rockman was nowhere to be found! Thinking quickly Netto and his friends quickly scramble to the one lead they have in finding Rockman, the former W3 Opts. Yaito got a military-grade attack helicopter! Sure it was loaded with paint rounds, but still… After picking up the Former W3 Opts, they showed Netto and his friends the remains of the W3 base. Plugging into the comp they found Rockman and the mysterious Forte! Forte just looked at them and left. Exploring the old W3 base comp some more, they found the missing Navis and Magnet Corp security Navis. Yep, they were at the right place.

Little did Netto’s group know at the time that a Power struggle was going on within Gospel. The wounded Freezeman returned to base, Shadowman.EXE was waiting for him. Shadowman tells Freeman about how he was hired to eliminate him, by Dr.Wily! Yes. Dr.Wily was still alive and the silent partner of Kid Grave, but now he’s taking over.

When Gauss Magnets found out Dr. Wily was alive, he quickly changed sides. Back to Netto’s group. When Magnetman showed up along with Wily, most of the former W3 Opts abandoned Netto, except Jack. who still has beef with his brother, so he and Elecman stayed and help fight Magnetman. The battle ended with Jack ordering Elecman to hold Magnetman in place while Rockman aimed his shot. It ended in the deletion of both Navis. After the battle there was something wrong with Rockman, he was in pain and glitching out.

Netto and his friends made it back to their treehouse base, where Meijin was waiting for them. Meijin explained what was wrong with Rockman, from the use use of extra codes and style changes causing Rockman to develop bugs in his coding, adding to the fact that Rockman is special, meaning there’s a lot of unknown of how the bugs were affecting him.

As Meijin tried his best to fix Rockman. Wily had unleashed Gospel on the Cyberworld! The beast was absorbing everything. The Net Agents tried their best to stop it, but nothing worked. Meanwhile Wily and Kid Grave were having an argument, Kid Grave wanted the destruction of the Internet causing havoc and devastation, but Wily betrayed him and took everything with him! Before Kid Grave could wring the old Bastard’s neck, Wily pressed a button on his chair and Kid Grave just stopped and fell. In another location, a child was screaming all kinds of obscenity. Unbeknownst to anybody except Wily. Gospel’s rampage and absorption of the Cyberworld only to stop for a moment. A lone Navi was steering down the Gospel, it was Forte!

It looked like Forte was absorbed by Gospel, but that wasn’t the case. Gospel roared and glowed, the damn thing was supercharged! The absorption Cyberworld of hasten! Even through the pain, Rockman could see the utter devastation that was being done, then he glowed, It was style change activating! When the light subsided Rockman looked a bit all over the palace with his colors, a mix of different shades of blue, his gauntlets and boots looked like they had square cracks and small yellow glowing dots all over them.

Meijin dubbed this new style, Bug style! Rockman quickly went to what remained of the Internet City to confront Gospel. At first, it seemed like Rockman was absorbed too! No, Rockman was destroying Gospel from within. The monster exploded and at the center was Rockman, Rockman used his power to restore everything, Netnavis and sections of the Cyberworld. Restoring what was absorbed took its toll on Rockman, knocking him, little did he know at the time he was at Forte’s mercy, but for some reason Forte didn’t just end Rockman then and there.

The police sprang into action. Triangulating the location of Gospel’s base, it was a highrise office space. When they got there all they found were destroyed screens and what they thought was the dead body of Kid Grave! On closer inspection, it was a robot. Netto and Enzan quickly traced the control signal of the robot. When most of the officers left, leaving only a small team to secure the location, the robot vanished.

The location of the signal was an average apartment building. Netto, Enzan, and several officials were just outside the door of the apartment Laeder of Gospel. They broke down the door, and the officers were first, followed by Netto and Enzan. What they found inside was a room full of computers and monitors and in a small corner a bed and dresser. The occupant of the room was a grey-haired boy who looked to be Netto and Enzan’s age. Netto had seen him several times during the many Gospel incidents! At the time he thought the boy was an innocent bystander.

At the station, they learned the boy's name was Shun Obihiro. A certified prodigy. He’s also a rich orphan, he had been passed around to relatives, but they didn’t take care of him, they used and stole from him. Making Shun hate the world, thinking people are just gonna use him. Somehow he met Dr.Wily, the two hit it off. Shun thought he found the only person he could trust. Gospel was Dr.Wily’s backup plan if World Three failed, but Shun would be in charge. Since Wily’s betrayal, Shun had been utterly divested, that’s why he let himself be captured.

While others wanted to severely punish Shun, Netto was outspoken in wanting to help him. He was a kid who had been hurt and lashed out at the world. And it didn’t help the wrong person found him. Netto isn’t saying they shouldn't punish Shun, but not in a way that will make him spiral deeper into hate and animosity. Meijin volunteered to look after Shun, hoping to put him on the right path and use his genius for good.

After Gospel was dealt with, things seemed to calm down again. Netto and his friends did their usual routines. Go to school, Net battles, hanging out at the treehouse, getting caught up in Yaito's shenanigans, and Netto and his friends visiting Shun from time to time.

Dekao’s little brother moved back to Nihon from Ameroppa! The gang tried to imagine what Dekao’s little brother looked like, they imagined him to be a mini Dekao, And they were totally wrong. Chisao was the complete opposite of his big brother, Chisao was a child prodigy. Netto and the gang had to pretend to be Dekao’s disciples, he had been telling Chisao all kinds of lies. Netto and the rest reluctantly agreed but said to spare Mamoru most of the embarrassment. After initially meeting, Netto would wheel Mamoru out, saying he had a doctor's appointment. Mamoru could properly meet Chisao after Dakao’s lies are exposed. After the ruse was up, It didn’t last long, Chisao was smart. At least Mamoru has somebody close to his age in the friend group.

5th grade ended with Netto and his friends saving his and Rockman’s father from an out-of-control experiment. Dr.Hikari’s lab had gone dark for several days now, naturally, his sons were worried about him. When Netto and the gang got to the lab, everything was dark. The gang decided to split up to cover more ground, the kids went into groups, while their Navis explored the lab’s network.

They were scared, things were moving at the corner of their eyes. They found out what was moving in the dark, viruses! Computer viruses in the real world! They found out the viruses disintegrate if they are hit with water. So the gang found some water guns and started blasting! They found Dr.Hikari unconscious, in part of the lab that seemed to have merged with the cyber world. Then a massive powerful virus showed up! It was called the Life Virus! It was immune to water. It looked bad for the gang until their Navis showed up! They hit Life Virus with everything they’ve got. After the Life Virus was defeated, everything went back to normal. Dr. Hikari tells them this was he was working, and he’ll tell them more in the future.

Now in 6th grade. Things didn’t really start out great. Yaito and Dekao moved away, yeah they can still easily see and talk to each other, but it’s not the same as hanging out in person. Chisao joined Netto and Meiru in class. (Hard to believe he’s Dekao’s brother.) A new PET model was out. Netto, Meiru, and Chisao were on their way to Sci-lab, to see the project Dr.Hikari was working on, without it going out of control. When they got there they saw a demonstration of the technology… with less than stellar results. What Scilab had been working on is something called a Dimensional Converter and CrossFusion. Netto, Meiru, and Chisao had already seen what a dimensional area converter could do a few weeks back, but CrossFusion was new to them. Dr.Hikari explains that Cross Fusion is the merging of NetNavi and the operator in a dimensional field with the use of a Synchro Chip. It’s still in the testing phase.

Netto and Rockman were enjoying the time they were spending with their father and friends, but then an alarm rang! SciLab was being attacked! The room Where Netto, Dr.Hikari, Meiru, and a reacher were in was sealed and the air was being vented out. The Navi responsible for this attack was in the lab’s network. Netto and Meiru quickly sent Rockman and Roll to stop the Navi. The Attacker was Beastman.EXE They made quick work of him, and not a moment too soon, Netto was the only conscious one left. After the others woke up, It looked like they were in the clear. NOPE! Something fell from the sky and the entirety of Scilab was covered in a dimensional area dome! This was impossible, the technology was still in the early prototype stages.

Beastman along with another Navi materialized in the real world. The Navi was named Shadowman.EXE They rampaged through the lab, destroying the prototype SciLab Dementinal area converter, and stole most of the Synchro Chip. Netto took the chance and swiped one. He knew the dangers of using this untested technology, but what other option did he have, People's lives were in danger!

Sloting in the Synchro Chip, Netto felt tingly, like a low-voltage current was running through his body. When the transformation was done he looked like Rockman, with armored yellow shoulder pads. Netto and Rockman fought as one, doing their best to fight off Beastman and Shademan. It looked like a 1-on-2 but Shademna left, leaving only Beastman. CrossFusion Rockman defeated Beastman, forcing the Navi to retreat. As the Dimentinal area dissipated, the fusion was undone and Netto became unconscious, his father and friends rushed to his side, he was just exhausted.

A day later Netto woke up in his room, wondering what happened and where was Rockman?! Netto entered the living room and smelled something, the kitchen table was full of his favorite food! His mother, Haruka explained the food was a reward for what he did during the Scilab attack, and Saito was with his father. After hearing that Netto grabbed all the food, got dressed, and headed for Scilabs. At Scilabs Dr.Hikari was briefing Commissioner Seishin Kifune and his assistant, Officer Rin Manabe. They discuss who was behind the attack, they think it was Dr.Wily, but for now, all they have are theories and speculation. Right now all they can do is rebuild. Netto and his father talked. Rockman was okay but lost the ability to style change thanks to the Synchro Chip, but that didn’t bother Netto and Rockman too much. After the father and sons talk, Netto quickly leaves, He was spending the day with Mamoru, Meiru, and Chisao at Nihon’s Internet control tower, and Netto was gonna be late for their meeting, Netto unknowingly taking the Synchro Chip. But that turned out to be a good thing.

Netto barely made it in time. Mamoru and Chisao didn’t mind they were just happy he was there, and even Meiru didn’t scold him. The tour was nice, showing off the supercomputer, and projecting the Internet City in the room. Then things turned sour, the city was attacked, and many Navis were kidnapped, and if that wasn’t bad enough the tower was covered by a dimensional area! This was worse than Scilab because Mamoru was with them, he was wheelchair-bound, and Netto was scared his HBD would act up! While they were trying to flee Netto tripped, and something fell out of his pocket, it was the Synchro Chip, just what they needed! Netto didn’t hesitate to slot it in, his surrogate little brother, friends, and many innocent people’s lives were in danger! Netto made quick work of Beastman and his army of viruses. After the battle, Netto went back to Scilab and talked with his father. Netto’s father. Dr.Hikari said they can keep the Synchro Chip due to how compatible they are, but not to over overexert themselves. Dr.Hikari introduces Netto and Rockman to Commissioner Kifune and Offecer Manabe, they wanted Netto to become a NetSavers, meaning he would become an official! Of course, Netto accepted!

Netto couldn’t tell everybody about his new status, only a few. The ones he told were Meiru, Mamoru, Chisao, and later Toru. Being a NetSaver was tiring work, due to the Net Police’s shortage of manpower at the time. The Net Agents that Helped Netto during the past two incidents were overseas, and Netto noticed that Masa, Saroma, and Miyuki were also overseas at this time. Netto and Rockman have an easier time solving incidents thanks to now being officials, all they need to do is flash their badges to people.

There were a lot of trial-and-error moments during Rockman and Netto’s early use of the Synchro Chip, running out of Battle Chips mid-battle, and the fusion being undone if they bicker too much. Their new enemies were called Darkloaids, powerful Solo Navis that hated humans and thought Navis with human operators were weak and pathetic. And the Darkloaids have a powerful trump card called Darkchips. Darkchips would power up Navis to an insane degree!

While Netto and Rockman lost the ability to style changed, they’ve gained a new power called Soul Unison! Soul Unison lets Rockman borrow the Power of a Navi he has a close bond too, this happened the first time when a Darkloid named BowlMan.EXE attacked during an outing Netto had with Meiru, his teacher, Miss Mariko, and Higure.

One day Serendane suddenly popped in Mamoru’s PET, usually she would send a message telling Mamoru she was coming over for a visit ahead of time. Serendane was badly injured! The gang quickly rushed over to SciLab, to Netto’s father to save Serened! After being patched up, Serenade tells them what happened, She had been defeated by a Vampire Navi, and now is no longer the Under Net king. Everybody was alarmed by this news, Serenade was a strong fighter, and they knew who this Vampire Navi was. Shademan. This means trouble, they quickly reported this to The commissioner.

For a couple of days, Netto had been battling Darkloids and had some help from some old friends. Kenichi Hino came back to Densan City to have Meijin look at Heatman. Well, Heatman was reconfigured back to Fireman and they helped Netto and Rockman beat back a Darkloaid named Plantman.EXE Dekao came for a visit, but acted like a jerk, making Chisao cry, he wanted to finally beat Netto and Rockman. Their battle was interrupted when Netto was called because of a Darkloid attack. Dekao finally came to his senses when Meiru explained that Netto had a lot of responsibilities now. Dekao and Gutsman helped beat the Darkloaid Burnerman.EXE During both events Rockman got two new soul unions, Fire and Guts souls.

Besides the Darkloids, a new problem was on the rise. Darkchips are being distributed and circulated among the masses! To Darkloids, Dark chips give them a massive power boost, to regular Navi, the Darkchip still gives the power boost but at the cost of their sanity. The Darkloids aren’t the ones making  Darkchips, they’re just “allied “ with the makers. The real creator of the Darkchip is an organization called Nebula.

Netto and Rockman encountered a Nebula agent, whose favorite disguise was Netto’s teacher, Miss Mariko. The Nebula agent was a woman and her Netnavi was named Needleman.EXE

A new hurdle Netto and Rockman faced was getting into dimensional areas. Netto and Rockman had been “Lucky,” always being inside the target zones, but Darkloids and Nebula started target areas where Netto wasn’t present. Netto got around this by building speed ramming the dimensional area dome and slotting in the Synchro Chip at the right moment. 

Netto and Rockman met a fellow NetSaver’s Navi, Searchman.EXE he’s from the nation of Sharo. Searchman and his Operator are in Nihon because Nebula attacked and destroyed the Control X systems of other nations, and Nihon is the only one left with an X system.  What Control X does is help coordinate aerospace assets and scan the earth’s orbit. Rorkman and Searchman worked tougher to save Nihon’s Control X system from an old Eenmy, The mercenary Navi Shadowman. The battle ended in Shadowman’s deletion.

The worst traits of Netto resurfaced his ego and arrogance. The numerous victories they had got him to think he was invisible. Netto’s worst traits finally get him and Rockman into trouble when they fall into the trap of a new Darkloaid, Desertman.EXE, and the Nebula agent. Thankfully Enzan and Blues saved them, and the two can crossFuse too!

After being saved Netto was a bit moppy, so Mamoru invited Netto and the rest of the gang to his family’s Inn. Mamoru and his mother lived in the city so he could be close to the hospital for treatment, they used to live in a town where they ran an inn, and that inn has a hot spring! Coincidentally, Toru and Miss Mariko started an onsen club, so it was a perfect time to go on a small vacation.

When they got to the Ura Inn, Mamoru introduced them to his aunt, Tamako Shiraizumi, she was running the inn in his mother's place. Tamako embraced Mamoru, and singled out Netto! Mamoru told his aunt many stories about his friends, especially Netto, making Tamako want to Net battle him!

Kimie, Mamoru’s mother, and Tamako’s sister pulled on her ear. Kimie said to her sister not to be overactive and act her age. Netto said it was fine, and he wanted to Net battle! The others just chuckled softly at the antics of the two. Miss Kimie said after they had settled in, then they could Net battle.

After unpacking, and changing into resort yukatas, all of them went straight for the hot springs! Except for Netto, there was a note in his Yukata that read. Meet me in the gift shop. It was a challenge and he accepted it. Going to the gift shop, Netto sees Tamako waiting eagerly. Tamako said she wasn’t going easy on him because he’s  Mamoru’s friend, and if half the stuff  Mamoru told her was true she would get an amazing fight! To sweeten the deal Tamko said Netto could get any souvenir he wanted for free if he won, if he lost he would buy whatever she told him to! Netto accepted those terms! They both sent their Navis into the Inn’s network. Tamako’s Navi is named Metalman.EXE and boy was he a big one. Rockman and Metalman’s battle was intense, both Navi and Operators were enjoying the battle, but it got interrupted!

The sprinkler system turned on, Tamako had to clean the place up, and Metalman had to check up on the systems to see why this happened. After the failed Net battle, Tamako constantly challenges Netto to another battle, but like the first time, they are all interrupted! Tamako challenged Netto at a bad time, Netto was with Mamoru and Miss Kimie eating mochi. Miss Kimie wasn’t pleased by her sister's action. During Netto and his friend’s last night at the inn, Tamako was dead set on having a proper net battle with him. She made sure everything was running smoothly. During their battle, Tamako and Netto found out why the Inn’s systems keep going haywire! It was Bubbleman.EXE A weak Darkloid, they easily beat him in the Cyberworld but Buddle has access to Dimensional area converters! (Off all Darkloaids why does he have command over those?!)  Tamako was clueless as to what was going on, and when Bubbleman popped into the real world she thought it was just a 3D projector, no it wasn’t. Netto Cross Fused and beat Bubbleman. When the gang was going home to Densan, Tamako still wanted that Net battle with Netto, and they ended up screaming at each other for a bit Kimie got Tamako to act her age.

Netto’s vacation isn’t over yet, there was a noticeable lull in Darkloid and Nebula activities at the time. Netto, Meiru, Miss Mariko and Rush got kidnapped, by Yaito! They were taken to the Kingland Ayanokoji manor, halfway across the world! Yaito had heard about Netto’s new Job thanks to her inelegance network. Yaito wanted Netto’s help in catching a virus that stole critical code for the new game Gabcom was making. When they deleted the virus and retrieved the code, the gang decided to play it! After a few encounters, they saw themselves as enemies in the game?! (The heck. Yaito!?)

After saving Yaito’s game, as an apology for making them common enemies in said game (Seriously Yaito, not even bosses or secret super bosses. That just hurts.) The gang got an all-expense paid vacation to Jyawaii, and Yaito even flew over  Mamoru, and Chisao, but it felt like they forgot someone. (Sory Toru.) It was fun to be back in Jyawaii, the sun, sand surf, and food were great! They planned to visit Dekao, who was now working for Maha in their Jyawaii branch along with the other former W3 operatives. The visit didn’t pan out as Netto imagined. Dekao still wanted to beat Netto, and he had a secret weapon. So confident in his secret weapon, Dekao, and the MaHa Niban staff set up an area full of people to watch the Net battle! Dekao’s secret weapon was an old device from the early days of Network technology, and it was made by Netto’s grandfather! Dekao used the device too much, causing Gutsman to grow giant, destroying the arena, and reenacting King Kong, with Roll as Ann Darrow. Gutsman was beaten and turned back to normal.

Now the gang is back in Nihon, and just in time, Higure was hosting a little Net tournament to drum up business for his Chip shop. There they met the infamous Kido Shuuko, a ridiculously unlucky girl, she entered Higure’s tournament, hoping to win the first-place prize, a sack of rice.

The next day, the tournament was completely deserted except for the participants, There was no audience due to how hard it rained. besides Netto, Meiru, and Toru. Higure also joined the tournament due to no one else signing up. When Shuuko arrived, they all sent their Navis to the Combat arena machine. Rockman, Roll, Iceman, and Numberman saw Shuuko Navi, Aquaman.EXE Aquaman was an adorable, innocent-looking little thing. This was still a competition, so they reluctantly attacked the little water Navi. All of their attacks failed or miss-fired! Aquaman adorably walked towards them, Rockman and the others didn’t want to hurt the little Navi so they stepped back until they fell off the arena’s edge. Shuuko and Aquaman were the winners! The sky even cleared up, it looked like things were finally going well for Shuuko! Till she remembered her rice cooker was broken, and her brother came running in, saying their house had to power, due to them not paying the power bill. Shuuko’s cheerful demure quickly turned to despair.  Aquaman saw his Oprator’s plight and, he did what he thought could help Shuuko, attack the power plant to get them to turn the power back on to Shuuko 's house. Rockman and the others had to beat some sense into him, this is where it got Number Soul. Higure feeling sorry for Shuuku gave her a job at his store.

The end of Netto’s vacation and a new wave of Darkloid and Nebula activated started off with Netto and Meiru getting invited by Miss “Mariko” to the new floating convection center in Densan City. Netto should have seen the red flags when he ran into Toru and Chisao on an onsen club trip, and they said Miss Mariko was with them, but Netto just blew it off! Netto ran into Tamako, she was at the convention to promote the Ura Inn, And when she saw Netto, she jumped up out of her both and challenged him to a Net battle! Netto happily obliged! Like their early battles, it got interrupted! It was Beastman and he was hell-bent on killing Netto and Rockman. The battle in the Cyberworld was difficult, even with Metalman’s help, Beastman was powered up beyond belief! Then Rockman gained Metal Soul! Dimensional area converters popped all over the convention center, Bestman isn’t beaten yet. Now in the real world, Beastman rampaged all over the convention center! Netto transformed into CF Rockman, Beastman overloaded with dark energy transformed! Powering up the already berserk Navi. It looked like Netto and Rockman were done for, but the two of them were more than just Navi and operator, they were friends and brothers! Using their new-found strength they deleted Beastman!

Netto finally met Searchman’s operator, Raika. He and Netto didn’t get along, it was like meeting Enzan for the first time but 20x worse. Raika wasn’t impressed by Netto’s performance and was extremely critical of his form and tactical skills. Raiki’s opinion of Netto fell even further, during a Darkloaid attack, Videoman.EXE had FC Rockman on the ropes! Raika and Searchman managed to beat the Darkloaid through clever tactics, they were able to send a shot through the Cyberworld into the real world using the dimensional distortions, disabling the generator!

The Net Police finally had a major lead thanks to Raika! Commissioner Kifune, in a bid to calm hostilities between the two NetSavers assigned them to the same case, a string of bank robberies. Raika and Netto didn’t like the idea. So they split off and did their own investigation. Eventually, the two NetSavers found out who was behind the bank robberies, Desertman, and several viruses under his command with the Invisible chip. Desertman was a tough opponent and he had been enhanced even further thanks to Darkchips. His sand covers the battlefield, making constructs to attack Rockman and Seachman. The Navis and Operators finally worked together to beat the Darkloid. Rockman gained the Search Soul. They didn’t just beat Desertman, they captured him! After the mission, Raika had to go back to Sharo. Raika and Netto begrudgingly respected one another.

Things were looking up for the Net Police. From a capture Dimensional area converter, to now a captured Darkloid. Progress was slow on creaking the Converter’s secrets, they even brought in Shun for help. Research into Desertman’s Darkloid factor and the effects of the Darkchip was coming along at a steady pace. Headway was finally being made against Nebula, that feeling was short-lived!

After a failed break-out attempt by Flashman. Nebula resorted to taking Commissioner Kifune and Offecer Manabe hostage! The Nebula agent hacked the car Commissioner Kifune and Offecer Manabe were in, and she demanded to hand over Desertman. The Net Police had no other choice but to comply. It wasn’t too surprising when the Agent didn’t keep her word and sent the car into the compactor, and it wasn’t a rescue mission, their goal was to delete Desertman! Netto quickly sent in Rockman into the Car’s system,  Needleman was waiting for him. Netto easily drove off the Nebula Navi using Search Soul, saving Commissioner Kifune and Offecer Manabe. Meanwhile, Desertman was about to be deleted by his comrade till a cloaked Navi came in and absorbed Desertman! Seeing cloaked Navi, Meijin became terrified! Netto was shocked he hadn’t seen Navi since defeating Gospel. Meijin was about to ask Netto so many questions, but a dimensional area formed around them. Netto tried Raika and Searchman’s trick to disable the converter, but it didn’t work! Nebula quickly shielded their converters after what Searchman did. The agent tried to take out Netto before he could transform using the crane to hit him, thankfully Meijin saved Netto, but his PET was knocked out of his hand right and landed in front of Flashman! The Darkloid was about to Destroy Netto’s PET but Enzan arrived just in time, transforming into CF Blues, and beating Flashman.

After the dimensional area dissipated they all quickly went back to Scilab. The loss of  Desertman dealt a great blow to Scilab’s efforts to make a vaccine against the Darkchips. They made some discoveries, but they hoped for more. They had theories about Darkloids, they were Navis who left their operators or were abandoned by them, maybe unregistered Navis used by criminals, maybe some are. But thanks to in-depth scans of Desertman’s data they found that most Darkloids are formed from residual and leftover data, but mostly from deleted Navis. They speculated on why the Darkloaids hate humans and Navis that have human operators, the hate might be from Navis that were abused and mistreated, and their resistance to the negative effects of the Dark Chips was because of those negative emotions.

Meijin quickly told Dr.Hikari about Forte, and what Netto told him. Forte had been around since the Gospel incident but he didn’t do anything yet. (That they knew of.) Both Commissioner Kifune and Offecer Manabe asked if this Forte they were talking about, was the Forte of the Independent Navi project of Scilab, the Forte that almost destroyed the Internet 20 years ago. Dr.Hikari justly looked at them sadly, he took in a deep breath. Dr. Hikari said it was just a cover story and the truth is a permanent black mark that will forever haunt Scilab.

20 or so years back the early Internet started to go out of control. The head of Scilab at the time, Tadashi Hikari, his father, and Netto’s (And also Rockman/Saito’s) Grandfather Worked feverishly to find out what was causing the apparent deletion of the Internet. All Tadashi could do for the moment was a stopgap measure, that stopgap measure Pharaohman. Some in Scilab thought they figured out the source of the crisis, Forte. They think Forte was using his Get Ability program to absorb the Internet so they planned to delete him behind Tadashi’s back. Those scientists started their plan by detaining Dr. Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack, Forte’s creator, and then sending a team of security Navis and programs to delete him. The plan didn’t work, Forte defeated the security team meant to delete him and absorbed them! Forte let out a primal cry of pain so loud it echoed throughout the Scilab network. The scream and subsequent alarms tipped off Tadashi to another crisis!

Yuichiro will attest that his father had the patience of a saint, and was slow to anger. But on that day the gentle and kind man released a torrent of pure anger and vitriol toward those scientists. Tadashi had them detained. They found and freed Dr.Cossack. Tadashi quickly brought the man up to speed on what happened. The two scientists quickly tried to talk down the rampaging Navi, but it had no effect, it just made Forte angrier! More and more security came to stop Fort, but all that did was give rampaging  Navi more power. And they couldn't send in Pharaohman to stop Forte, Pharaohman was the only one who was slowing down the deletion of the Internet. Dr.Tadashi Hikari and Dr.Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack came up with a plan to trap Forte in a sectioned-off server that can be only open from the outside. The plan worked, Forte was trapped for the moment, so they could deal with the main crisis. Dr.Cossack fell to his knees and cried, Forte was more than just a product of his research, Forte was his child. Tadashi promised  Dr.Cossack that he would help him and Forte, but right now they still have to save the Internet.

Dr.Tadashi Hikari and his staff finally found the reason why the Internet was out of control. Data wasn’t being deleted, it was being absorbed and repurposed! At the center of it all was a nascent Data being that they named Proto. They only found Proto because it has, for the lack of a better word, grown large and started spawning similar data beings to it, now Proto was in the next stage of its evolution! Proto was taking control of all of the devices connected to the Internet, and they couldn’t stop it! So Dr.Tadash Hikari made the ultimate sacrifices, using experimental and one-of-a-kind technology made by him… Tadashi Hikari converted his very being, some say even his soul into data, and stopped Proto! 

Netto, Enzan, Rockman, Blues Commissioner Kifune, Offecer Manabe, and Shun were shocked by what  Dr.Yuichiro Hikari told them. Dr.Yuichiro Hikari took a quick glance at Meijin. Dr.Yuichiro Hikari knows all this because he was there during those events. He was an intern at the time, just starting his career as a Network scientist, along with another brilliant young man. They all knew who Dr.Hikari was referring to. They all could guess what happened next, Pharaohman became corrupted and started to take over Scilab, but Pharaohman made the mistake of opening the server where Forte was kept. The two powerful Navis clashed, and when the dust settled all that was left was a badly damaged Pharaohman, it looked like Forte was deleted. The scientist quickly contained the now mad Pharaohman. After the incident with Pharaohman. Dr.Cossack disappeared, never to be seen again. Yuichiro still remembers how utterly broken the man was… And why is Forte said to be the cause of the Proto incident? The Scientists who attacked Forte were fired, they were bitter and angry, so they painted Forte as a monster that almost destroyed the internet. The group was silent for a moment. A new player has entered the game, with so many unknowns about them. All they could do was keep an eye out for Forte and approach him with caution.

There have been more and more cases of Navis going berserk thanks to the Darkchips. Both Netto and Enzan are doing their best, capturing infected Navis and bridging them to Scilab for treatment. Nebula had disguised their Dark Chips as regular battle chips, it was hard to tell them apart until it was too late. The Net Police’s next breakthrough came in the form of an anonymous tip. Commissioner Kifune thought it was too good to be true, and Offecer Manabe asked to at least look into it. The tip was a storage center housing a large number of Darkchips. When Officer Manabe got to the center it became encased in a Dimensional area! It looks like that tip was good, she called it Netto and Enzan to breach the facility. The two CrossFused NetSavers found out this was a trap, A Darkloid named Gravityman.EXE, and this was not just for them, but also for Shademan! The Darkloids and Nebula had a falling out and Shademan was hoping to get a supply of Darkchips for his own use, he easily swatted away both CrossFused Huamans. After that failed operation things were quiet. Netto and Rockman could rest for a bit. The most interesting that happened was, Aquaman and Iceman befriending Bubbleman, leading the two Navis to stay out so late that their operators got worried about them. Things ended with a little playfight, ending with Aquaman and Iceman going back home, and Bubbleman waddling alone.

For the past couple of days, Netto and Rockman had been guarding the Converter against Nebula’s many attacks. Even with Dr.Hikari, Meijin, Shun, and a lot of support staff working around the clock, they still couldn’t crack the security of Converter! So additional help was brought in. One Dr.Friedrich Regal, or Dr.Regal for short. He’s Kingland’s top energy Scientist.

They got to Scilab with no incident, after a quick introduction they immediately got to work. The Scilab team, with Dr.Regal and Rockman with Number Soul, finally cracked the security on the Converter! Rockman entered the computer of the converter, but quickly logged out because of “Ghosts.” The team quickly made a disturbing discovery! The converters were powered by the kidnapped Navis! After that disturbing discovery, the team tried to figure out what to do next, they couldn't just copy Nebula’s converter design, so a new power system was on the chopping block. Not even an hour after cracking the Converter, Scilab was attacked. First Nebula tried to destroy the converter in the Cyberworld. Their enemy was Sparkman.EXE, of course, Rockman and Blues defeated him. When the Cyberworld attack failed a dimensional area covered the lab, and Sparkman materialized. A tactic both NetSavers are used to by now. Sparkman was a lot tricker in the real world. Sparkman destroyed the Converter and escaped. Scilab salvaged what it could, they could make their dimensional area Converters. Enzan started to have suspicions about Regal…

The NetSavers' next two missions were fairly standard. A Navi attacking a hydrothermal powerplant. The school’s Onsen club was taking a field trip to a nearby Hot spring, So Netto had a reason to be there. Enzan was Enzan, he was already a pretty well-known official, so It isn’t too shocking he’s here too. Both NetSavers fought a Fire Navi named Burnerman.EXE They took care of him easily enough. Videoman Stikes back! The Darkloaid was copying over rental and home video tapes, and blaming Rockman for the crime. It felt so good to finally be rid of the creep.

The next operation was a massive one with long-standing consequences … It started off with a failed raid, a possible Darkchip deal going down. Officer Manabe led the raid, but when they got there the warehouses were empty except for a bound and tied-up girl!

The girl’s name was Anetta, and she was a possible witness to the Darkchip deal, little did they know at the time she would be the key to unmasking the leader of Nebula. Netto and Enzan interviewed her, Anetta said she was passing by when she heard people talking, and then they grabbed her. As a witness, Anetta needed to be guarded, and Enzan got that job.

Enzan and Anetta spent time at a mall, waiting for a call from HQ when they needed them. After spending some time with Enzan, Anetta opened up and told more about herself. She was sickly, and needed therapy,  not that long ago. Her only friend at the time, who supported, and cheered her on was a Nurse Navi named Silk.EXE pieces clicked into place in Enzan's mind, but before he could say his peace to Anetta, the Mall was attacked. Trapping them in the elevator.

Needleman and his Operator wanted Anetta, Enzan, and Blues weren’t gonna hand her over to them! A fight ensued, and Needleman’s operator used 3 Dark Chips, shocking Enzan, and Blues. Needleman was relentless, but Crimson Navi and his Operator didn’t give in! Stunted by Enzan’s resilience, Anetta hesitated to do her part in a certain plan. After the fight, Enzan, along with Netto questioned Anetta. Anetta said she was helping Nebula because she wanted revenge on Enzan and Blues for killing Silk. Enzan tells Anetta the truth about that day, Silk sacrificed herself to save everybody in the hospital… With that revelation, Anetta cried. After calming down Anetta tells them of Nebula’s plans and who their leader is. Get one of the NetSavers in an unwinnable situation and give them the Special Darkchip, which will utterly corrupt the Navi turning them into a Darkloid, And she reveals that Dr. Regal is the leader of Nebula! After that revelation, Anetta was kidnapped by the Nebula Agent!

Netto and Enzan quickly reported what happened to HQ, they were all shocked by this news! Regal was staying at a hotel, the NetSavers quickly went there! When they got to his room it was empty except for a Laptop, quickly plugging in, all the data they found was that of Tankership registered to Regal and its location, it was an invitation.

Commissioner Kifune and the others warned the two not to go, it was an obvious trap, Netto, and shockingly Enzan disobeyed. Cutting off communications between them and HQ for the time being. The NetSavers took a Helicopter to the tanker, when they got close to the tanker they crashed due to a dimensional area forming, the two transformed, and wanting on deck was the Nebula agent. She led them deeper into the bowels of the ship. Arriving at a large throne room Anetta was sitting unconscious on a throne, and standing behind her was Regal! Dr.Regal explained the Dimentinal area was Shademan’s doing, and how he got his hands on a converter, he said he built one using the old W3 hideout and Dr.Wily also studied Dimential technology. Shademan came. Dr.Regal taunted the leader of the Darkloids, leading the NetSavers to fight him, due to how Regal was using Anetta as a shield.

The two NetSavers fought valiantly but Shademan was just too Strong! He tanked a hit from a double Dream Sword and lost an arm! And he walked it off like nothing! After defeating the SetSavers, Shademan’s attention was directed towards Regal, but turns out Regal wasn’t even here! The being before them was Laserman.EXE Dr.Regal’s personal Navi. Laserman destroyed the converter, sending Shademan back to the Cyberworld. Shademan went on a rampage inside the ship’s system. If Netto and Enzan don’t do something the Ship will skink along with them! Rockman and Blues tried to fight Shademan, but it was no use, he was just too powerful! Netto and Rockman were about to make the sacrifice, to use the Dark Chip. But Enzan takes it and uses it himself! Blues had the power to drive off Shademan, but lost himself and turned into a Darkloid… Blues fled to parts unknown. Backup finally arrived. Netto, Enzan, and Anetta took off in Net Police helicopters bound for home. Shademan was in a nasty surprise when he got back to the Under net. Waiting in his throne room was Lasermanand to his side was the now Darkloid Blues, they flaked by the other Darkloids! They had all betrayed him! Laserman petrified Shademan.

The After-action report of the incident. The Net Police was dealt a crippling blow with the loss of Blues. Sure they captured the tanker and got some technology out of it, but those were just scraps left by Regal to taunt them. A full inquiry was done on Dr.Friedrich Regal, once it was revealed that he was the leader of Nebula they wanted to know everything about him! After hours of digging and coordinating with Kingland authorities. What they found was shocking, Friedrich Regal’s birth name was Friedrich Wily! Dr.Regal’s father is none other than Albert Wily. He later changed his surname to his mother’s maiden name. Does that mean father and son were working, there were more questions now!

Enzan was hurting, but was bottling it all up! Netto forces Enzan to let his feelings all out, it’s not a weakness to be sad and just admit the Blues was more than just his Navi! The talk was going… Decent, Netto finally got Enzan to open up, but their talk was cut short by A Nebula attack. The attacking Navi was Gravityman, one of the harder-hitting Darkloids. Even without a Navi Enzan still proved to be quite the help in beating Gravityman.

Things were back to business. Scilab was working on a cure for the Dark Chips. Netto and Enzan were going on missions. Saving supermodels from being mind control thanks to the new computer jewelry being hacked. Accepting a Direct challenge from Burnerman, that didn’t go as expected thanks to Aquaman being clingy at the time. Well, at least they got Aqua Soul. Yaito dragged Netto, Meiru, Chisao, Miss Mariko, and Rush into Space! Yaito needed help to find out who’s been stealing her family’s satellites. Turns out it was lonely Navi made out of old data named Junkman.EXE The gang befriended and taught him was junk and not junk. The Net Agents finally returned from overseas! And Netto was shocked to find out they were really Masa, Miyuki, and Saroma! Everybody else but Netto and Higure had figured out the Net Agents' identities. The day’s shenanigans ended with the arrest of Gauss Magnets. The former Gospel higher-up had mistaken Miss Mariko for his Nebula contact leading to his detainment. Netto and the gang said their goodbyes to the Net Agents, their overseas missions aren’t done yet.

Netto being the only Netsavers that had a Navi was finally showing its negative effects. Netto stretching himself thin by pulling double duty. Scilab has been working on a new tool for use in the field, a battle chip gate! With the battle chip gate. A tool for officers in dimensional areas a way to fight back and support Netto and Rockman, by sending them battle chips mid-fight.

During a Nebula attack, Gravityman had been attacking the real world using his gravity powers, Netto almost fell into the subway tunnels but was saved by a man grabbing him in time! The man quickly ran off without even saying his name. When Netto got to Scilab he met the man again. Netto’s father introduced him as Detective Gorou Misaki, the original tester for CrossFusion. They started their test on The battle chip gate, it was a failure, and to top it all off Nebula attacked! Detective Misaki helped repel Nebula’s attack with his Navi PrisMan.EXE Rockman and PrisMan easily fought off Graivityman. Of course, after the cyber attack ailed they went into the real world! Netto and Rockman had yet to find a way to counter Gravityman in the real world, they lost. To add more salt to the wounds Blues appeared before them, now changed.

Detective  Misaki felt useless when he saw Netto beaten, he felt angry at himself unable to crossFuse. Somebody noticed Detective Misaki’s feelings of anger and frustration… A couple of days later a string of crimes were committed, and the person who committed them looked like Detective Misaki! That couldn’t be right! The police cornered the criminal, and it was Detective Misaki! A converter suddenly popped out and Detective Misaki pulled out a Synchro Chip and crossedFused! He got away but they later found him knocked out on the ground in terrible condition.

Officer Misaki was rushed to the hospital and when he came too, he was questioned. Detective Misaki said Officer Manabe offered him a chance to try crossFusion again, they drove to a secret location so Nubula couldn’t find out. Officer Manabe had no idea what Detective Misaki was talking about. They found out the Nebula agent tricked Detective Misaki, he was given a Dark Synchro Chip that’s been slowly corrupting him! Detective Misaki had a Darkchip-induced episode, he went hunting for the Nebula agent to get more Dark Chips, and he had mistaken Miss Mariko for her. Detective Misaki found her, and so did Enzan and Netto. The area was covered in a dimensional dome. Netto had to fight the mad Officer, Netto kept yelling to remember who he was and it worked, then Dark Blues came in and the new battle started! Even with Enzan’s support with the now functioning battle chip gate, they were still no match for the sword-welding Darkloaid, The battle ended with a severely injured Rockman.

Detective Misaki was hospitalized, this was the first case of a Dark chip affecting humans. Rockman was in critical condition. With Nihon’s two NetSavers taken down, with one’s Navi corrupted, and the other recovering, backup was called. Raoul from Ameroppa, and Raika from Sharo came to Nihon to assist the Nihon NetSavers. While Rockman was being patched up, Scilab was attacked by Dark Blues! Anetta came to visit them and got caught up in all of this. Anetta was given the new Model II PET and was told to run! Eventually, Netto got the new PET and Rockman was back up! With Enzan’s help, they Deleted Starman.exe! Later Netto was a little bit too cocky with his new PET, He was given a reality check by Enzan and Rauoul. At least Netto learned his lesson (Rockman hopes.) and they earned Thunder Soul.

One day Navis were kidnapped, but it wasn’t on a large scale like what Nebula did, it was certain Navis. Enzan and Meiru were the ones to investigate because Netto was in Sharo. What they found out was all Operators scored high in an arcade game, and then their Navis were taken. Meiru played the game and got pretty high up in the rankings, then Roll was taken! The one who did this was Forte! Forte wanted the strongest Navis, so he set up the arcade game as a test. The Kidnaped Navis were taken to a gladiatorial arena, where they fought each other, the winner was absorbed by Forte! Enzan and Meiru quickly found where the kidnapped Navis were held. A robot pressed a button and the whole building was covered in a dimensional area! The robot sent viruses after Enzan and Meiru, and one of the viruses knocked the chip gate out of Enzan’s hand! It looked bad for them still CF Rockman jumped in front of the two! Netto got back from Sharo After hearing what Enzan and Meiru were doing, he quickly went after them! After defeating the Robot’s viruses Shun’s old Kid Grave robot came and destroyed the smaller robot! The Forte came out of the robot.

There was an intense standoff between the three humans and Navi. They could feel the contempt coming off of Forte. Netto tried to be diplomatic. Netto tried to convince Forte to come back with them, that what happened 20 years ago was a mistake. Forte charged CF Rockman saying liar. Forte was brutal not giving CF Rockman any breathing room! And CF Rockman couldn’t dent Forte’s defenses, he had a powerful life aura! CF Rockman finally faltered in his defense, it looked like Forte was about to finish him off, but an old model Navi stepped in and saved CF Rockman, it had a dark aura around itself. The Navi Attacked Forte, at first the attack looked like it didn’t do anything but moments later Forte’s powerful life aura disappeared. Forte is shocked by this, he looks over the old Navi and just leaves.

Netto, Meiru, and Enzan quickly went to Scilabs to report what happened! When they described the Navi to Dr.Hikari and Meijin, the two pulled up an image of an old Scilab researcher Navi. Dr. Hikari and Meijin had a good idea of who the kids’ savor is.

Summer, a break from school. And it looked like Nebula took the summer off too! Netto started summer break by inviting Meiru to an outing, that was ruined by a Nebula attack. Swordman.EXE came in and attacked Meiru and Netto. But in the end, Meiru didn’t mind. Netto volunteered to teach senior citizens how to Net battle. Netto and Meiru helped out an old man named Tensuke Takumi. Mr.Takumi wanted to impress his grandson, so he tried to get better at Net battling and making electronic tops, problems started because he got a chip from Higure’s that was full of viruses by accident, causing the top to go out of control! Netto helped the old man get his creation under control and to seem cool to his grandson.

Summer came to a climactic end with another Forte encounter. Mamoru and Netto were hanging out and catching up. Then without warning Forte shows up and attacks Rockman and Serenede! Forte just said he wanted their power for his revenge. Even with the former Undernet king as his battle partner, Forte had them on the defensive. Forte knew Serenade was a heavy hitter who could disable his life aura, so he went for her first ignoring Rockman, unless he got in the way. Mamoru was horrified as Fotre lifted Serenade by her neck, it looked like he was gonna finish her off! Then the old Scilab Navi appeared! The old Navi shot something at Forte that sapped his power. Forte cursed at the Navi and then vanished. Rockman helped Serenade up, and Netto comforted a panicked Mamoru. The kids finally meet their savior, a bearded glasses-wearing older gentleman. Netto recognizes him from the pictures his father showed him of the old Scilab staff, it was Dr. Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack! Netto talked with the old Scientist to come back with him to Scilabs, things had changed and they wanted to help him. Dr.Cossack reluctantly goes with Netto and Mamoru.

When they got to Scilab, Dr.Hikari and Meijin were waiting for them. When they arrived both scientists were caught off guard seeing the aged face of Dr.Cossack. They said their greeting and caught up. Yuichiro still remembers the promise his father made to Dr.Cossack, and he intends to fulfill it. Dr.Cossack came back to Scilabs.

The Net Police finally found Regal’s location! Enzan did some investigating, and using the information Raoul gave him about Regal’s expenses, Enzan could deduce he was in space! Regal was a crafty man, his satellite had stealth capabilities. Now they know why Nebula wanted to destroy System X, it was the only thing that could track Regal’s Satellite. Another breakthrough was made, the cure for the Darkchips was nearly ready.

An Army of Net Police Navis was assembled around the System X network and Raika came over from Sharo. When they started the scan, the network was attacked! Old deleted Darkloids came back to assault Net Poilce HQ, and Netto and Rockman went all out! Rapidly using all of their Soul Unisons! The Net Police fought off Nebula’s cyber attack. Then Nebula sent Dark Blues into the real world to destroy the System X servers. Dark Blues destroyed it but Enzan got the lock! Unbeknownst to Net Police, Forte made a move, plugging into a nearby bank he found the petrified Shademan and revived him for his own plans. 

When Detective Misaki was let out of the hospital, he had been on the trail of the Nebula Agent who tricked him. They finally met again leading to a chase, where Miss Mariko was taken as a hostage! The agent took her chance and threw the teacher at Detective Misaki, but a van hit her, it looked like she died. Netto, Dekao, Meiru, Chisao, Toru, and Yaito visited Miss Mariko in the hospital, where they learned she had a twin sister named Yuriko. The Net Police got a call that the Nebula agent was alive, Detective Misaki went right back out to find her! Little did he know she was waiting in his car. Then it was finally revealed that the Nebula agent was the thought long-dead sister of Miss Mariko, Yuriko! Detective Misaki subtly turned on his radio so Commissioner Kifune and Offecer Manabe could hear this conversation. Their Yuriko explained how she has superhuman abilities, how an alien being named Duo made her into a living probe to observe humanity, at the cost of her past. But after meeting her sister again her old memories are resurfacing. Yuriko also revealed she was raised by Dr. Wily and is Regal's adopted sister!

Yuriko finally catches up to her sister and her students. A fight ensues as the bridge, the area got covered in a dimensional dome, and Yuriko pulls out a Dark Synchro Chip! This is where Miss Mariko is witness to many revelations, from her student being a NetSaver, and her sister being alive! The battle ended with Misaki and Yuriko being blown off the bridge by Dark Blues for not going along with Regal’s orders to kill Miss Mariko to prove her loyalty. They found Detective Misaki, but no sight of Yuriko.

The Vaccine program was finally done. The Netsavers laid a trap for Dark Blues, it was a hard-fought battle, but they finally saved Navi the Crimson Navi. But Enzan and Blues were in no condition to fight. This was bad because Regal’s End game had begun!

It started off with Rush’s kidnapping, and then millions of Navis were taken! Rush was taken by Shademan, the darkloid converted Rush into a chip which he quickly uses. Shademan materializes in the real world without a dimensional area! He was using Rush’s holo program. Shademan rampaged across the world destroying everything Regal had his name on, and then he returned to Nihon. Scilab finally developed its own Dimentinal area Converter, they used them in trapping Shademan. They tried to bring him down with the Dark Chip vaccine, but it didn’t work. Now it was Netto’s turn, and like his other encounters with the Darkloid, he lost! Netto was only saved because Regal projected himself and taunted Shademan. Regal was in a skyscraper that transformed into a giant Dimental area converter! Dr.Regal covered the entire Earth in a dimensional area! Regal fused with Laserman and easily dispatched Shademan! Forte tried to ambush CF Laserman, but he too was beaten and captured! Regal gloats, saying he knew about Forte’s little plan from the very beginning! From gathering power by absorbing his Darkloid pawns and other Navis, to using Shedeman as a distraction. He calls Forte predictable and simple-minded, as Shademan.

Netto and the others retreated back to Scilab to form a new plan. The plan they came up with was to use the tunnels Bestman and Shademan used in their initial attack on Scilab, but there was one problem, Regal tower had topnoch Firewalls. Dr.Cossack volunteered to go to Regal Tower to disable the security systems! Before they could enact their plan Regal came on screen, he told them he was also a probe of Duo, but unlike Yuriko, he kept his personality and memories! He called his father a fool, wanting to save humanity, he planned to cover the Earth in darkness! Giant Lasermen appeared around the world causing havoc and destruction! And now one appeared in Densan making a beeline to Scilabs! Netto went out there to buy them some time.

Regal was arrogant enough to leave his tower to unlock it, but smart enough to keep his computers locked. It would have been too late if Dr.Cossack hacked the system, and he heard Netto and Enzan were down, so took drastic measures. The last thing they heard from Dr.Cossack was screams of pain over the radio. Whatever Dr.Cossack did it left Regal’s systems vulnerable to the Navi team consisting of Seachman, Iceman, Gutsman, Roll, Glyde, and Numberman. Even with most of the tower’s defenses turned off, an army of viruses was between them and the power core. Shockingly Forte came in and wiped out most of the viruses and left. Searchman took a shot at the power core!

Netto started to feel a surge of Power and heard many voices. It was the Navis used to Power the worldwide Converter network. They gave their power to CF Rockman to end this! So he did! Focusing on a charge shot, Netto and Rockman fired! It pierced the Giant Laserman and it started to disintegrate. It was over.

The Kid Grave Robot carried a gravely injured Dr.Cossack to Scilabs and disappeared after dropping off the man. Dr.Cossack was in a coma, all they could do now was hope for the man's recovery. They all celebrate the hard-fought victory, but some are worried about this coming Duo.

It had been a few days since the defeat of Nebula and Dr.Regal. A comet was sited in Earth’s atmosphere, it didn’t behave like a regular comet. One day a giant Met virus materialized in the real world without a dimensional area! When the NetSavers dealt with the virus, Netto notices Rockman missing. It was Forte still wanting Rockman’s Ultimate program, but something seemed different about Forte. He isn’t as motivated as before, sure, but he still gave Rockman and later Blues a good thrashing.

After the Forte encounter, the NetSavers ran into Dr.Wily! The old man told the NetSavers that the world would be destroyed because Duo had arrived. Before leaving on his rocket cart, Wily handed Netto a can, saying to give it to his father if they intend to fight Duo. The NetSaver quickly goes back to Scilabs to tell Dr.Hikari, Commissioner Kifune, Offecer Manabe, Meijin, and Shun on what happened. They carefully opened the can, and what was inside was a data chip with all Wily’s information on Duo. Before they could delve deeper into the information, they received a transmission from the comet! What appeared on screen was an extraterrestrial Navi named Slur.EXE

Slur was the herald of Duo. her message was. Duo has judged the humans of Earth and found they are evil. His sentence was the extermination of Humanity. After hearing that shocking news, Forte in the Kid Grave body broke in and plugged into Scilab’s systems to send himself into the Comment’s data stream. Slur easily despatched Forte, and bashed him to the lowest depths of the Undernet! The Kid Grave robot exploded! After the one-sided battle, giant viruses appeared all over the world! Wreaking havoc and destruction! One materialized just outside of Scilab. Netto and Ezan quickly went there to fight it! After being the giant virus, Duo pulled Netto Enzan, Rockman, and Blues into his realm. Duo was confused about their being, organics mixed with Data beings, he was especially interested in Rockman. This got Duo to reconsider his judgment, He gave humanity a test to see if they’re worthy to exist. The giant virus attacks cease, for now, as the trial has started. The data chip Dr.Wily gave contains one last gift. An upgrade to the dimensional converters to Generators! dimensional Generators were more advanced and versatile, allowing the creation of dimensional areas anywhere!

Duo’s was Testing human’s desire. His herald Slur would gift special Asteroid Navis to certain humans, these Navis were reborn deleted Navis, who now had the powers to grant wishes, and came a Dimensional Chips, so they could manifest in the real world. While Duo gave humanity another chance, Slur already made up her mind, she wanted humanity exterminated. Slur sabotaged the trial by giving Asteroid Navis to criminals. When Slur occasionally gives the Asteroid Navis to regular people, they grant wishes in the worst way possible. Heck. Slur tried to sabotage Scilab by giving Freezeman back to Shun, convincing him to go back to his old ways. Shun resisted, he had changed from the lonely, hateful boy he once was. Shun had friends and a great father figure now. Freezeman remembers his past life, while he was just a servant to Shun, he genuinely cared about the boy. Freezeman returned to his old master, but Shun preferred Freezeman stop calling him master.

In Ameroppa they found a massive crater that was giving strange energy readings. Dr. Hikari, Netto, and Enzan went over to investigate. The crater was able to bend space-time, letting them see into the past! They found this out when they saw afterimages of themselves and an extinct virus attacked them. Dr. Hikari was gonna stay a little longer to study, what they dubbed the Past Tunnel, and Enzan was also staying, in case the research station was attacked, and helping out Ameroppa Net Police.

Asteroid Navis weren’t the only thing Netto and the Net Police had to worry about. After the trial and sentencing of Gauss Magnets, his daughter, Tesla Magnets announced the rebirth of World Three, as Neo World Three! Whose goal was to spread chaos and destruction around the world! Tesla was the leader. And other members are -

Takeo Inukai. A disgraced Zookeeper. And his Navi Beastman.

Noboru Sunayama. A Discontented TV producer. His Navi is Desertman.

Rei Saiko.a disgraced Formula 1 engineer. His Navi was Flashman.

And Later on Narcy Hide. Washed-up TV presenter. His Navi was Videoman

All of their Navis were Asteroid Navis, except for Magnetman.

Neo W3's first operation was a jailbreak. The Net Police thought Tesla wanted to free her father, but it was just a distraction. The real target was Magnetman, the Navi knew the Magnets family’s many accounts. The Net Police fell for their feint, Neo W3 got Magnetman, and to add insult to injury they even took Gauss Magnets. It was an embarrassing defeat for the Net Police and another thing to add to the pile of problems.

During the fight against the Asteroid Navis and Neo W3. They made some discoveries. Once in a while Netto and Enzan would be helped by a mysterious Navi named Colonel.EXE They discovered that he was made from Ameroppam military technology, and his Oprator was the recently passed Colonel Barrel! They found out that Colonel Barrel was helping them in the past!

During this time Netto made some new friends and strengthened the bond with his old ones.

First, Charlie Airster, Chopper pilot, and his Navi Gyroman.EXE  When Netto first met Charlie, he thought Charlie was behind a string of breaks in, but it was actually Noboru. The two teamed up to beat the wannabe cowboy.

Next was Dingo, a boy of native Ameroppa descent. Netto and Dingo became fast friends due to shared interests. And his Navi Tomahawkman has one heck of a swing!

Netto met the aspiring herbologist, Jasmine, and her surprisingly tough medical Navi, Meddy.EXE Netto met Jasmine when she was popping up all over the place, Netto finally asked her who she was and what she doing. Jasmine explained she was looking for a rare herb called a Blue Dandelion. Netto being Netto offered to help. They finally found the herb and got some corporate scumbags arrested.

And finaly Nenji Rokushakudama. A master pyrotechnician. Nenji had lost his Navi, Nenjiro.EXE Nenjiro sacrificed himself to save Nenji and everybody else in the fireworks factory from an out-of-control launcher system. Nenji was depressed and sad about the deletion of his friend, but one day, Asteroid Napalmman appeared in his PET! What happened was Netto was fighting a criminal who was given the Asteroid Napalmman. Netto severely wounded the Astroeid Navi forcing him to retreat. At first, Netto was suspicious of Napalmman, thinking he was just using the graving Nenji, but Netto saw the growing friendship between them. Napalmman even turned on the criminal he was originally given to.

Some surprises involving Netto’s old friends were. Raika can CrossFuse now. Dekao moved back to Densan and opened his own branch of Maha Curry. And Meiru and Roll can Crossfuse now too!

During the fight against Duo, many insane things happened. The crater research team accidentally brought Shademan back! The Darkloid quickly went on a rampage attacking anything and everything in sight trying to find Regal, then he found out he was several months in the future! Shademan quickly learns of the past tunnel and uses it to infect the early Internet! Outside the crater labs, the world had changed! Humanity was almost wiped and the the Darkloaids ruled! Without hesitating Rockman used the Past Tunnel too!

In the past Rockman was kinda lost, everything was just so primitive to him. After being arrested, he finally met up with Colonel Barrel and Colonel. They found out Shademan’s plan, shoot a missile into Eath’s upper atmosphere and sacrifice himself so his Darkloid factor would spread and infect the early net. During the fight, Shademan had infected Rockman through a bite (Wow. He took his vampire theming seriously) Rockman didn’t react to being infected like a normal Navi because of how special he was. (Human turned makes a lot of programs go wonky or work not as intended.) Rockman temporarily restrained Colonel, but he quickly came back to his senses and helped him beat Shademan.

A revelation came to Dr. Yuichiro Hikari! This may be what triggered the Proto revolt Dr.Hikara yelled at Rockman to not come back yet, that he needed to go to Nihon and warn his father, (Rockman and Netto’s grandfather) Of what was to come! The Proto revolt, Some idiots attacking Forte, causing Dr.Cossack so much pain and sadness, leading him to be in a coma! They could even stop Regal and Save Saito!

Netto shockingly slapped his father. Netto ordered Rockman to come back. Netto then said while he knew how much Yuichiro loved his father, and for Netto and Saito to meet him, there was no telling what kind of changes would happen to the timeline if they told Tadashi what would happen! Yuichiro took in what  Netto said, he hugged his son and thanked him for talking him out of a bad idea. Little did they know something merged with Rockman in his transit between past and present.

One day, Netto’s friends were in Scilab, and when they saw him they yelled at him, saying Rockman attacked Roll, iceman, and Numberman! Rockman was acting weird, from breaking into banks and stealing items! The Net Police detained Rockman. Netto yelled at his brother, and demanded to know what was wrong with him! Here Netto finally finds out this Rockman was a fake!

Dark Rockman was born from the Darkness that was unsuccessful in controlling Rockman, So it compiled some of Rockman’s Data and became a new being! Thankfully Dark Rockman didn’t have certain memories of Rockman, or should he say Saito. They didn’t want Dark Rockman knowing about the process of converting people into Navis, he would have used it to mess with Scilab by leaking it or doing his own horrible experiments.

Besides fighting off the Asteroid Navis, the NetSavers needed to find Cress bearers. People who were marked by Duo. They were critical to the Trial. The cress bearers were. 

Netto Hikari, Enzan Ijuin. Charlie Airster, Dingo, Jasmine, Meiru Sakurai, Nenji Rokushakudama, Princess Pride, Raika, Yuriko Ozono, Colonel Barrel, Dark Miyabi, and Tesla Magnets. Eventually, all cress bearers were given the ability to Cross fuse. And there was quite the story in recruiting the last four members of Team CrossFusion!

Yuriko had been helping out here and there, but keeping her survival from her sister, Miss Mariko. Eventually, she informed her sister that she was alive. After talking with Miss Mariko and her adopted father, Dr. Albert Wily. Yuriko finally knew what she wanted to do with her life. Yuriko started by saving Detective Gorou Misaki The man just woke up from his coma and hadn’t even been discharged yet, but he already started to do some police work as soon as he could. Detective Misaki ran afoul of a criminal with an Astroid Navi, Good thing Yuriko was there to save him.

Dark Mayabi. The mysterious enigmatic Operator of Shadowman. Dr.Wily reconstructed Shadowman for Dark. Dark Mayabi took a lot of convincing from Dr.Wily to not continue his contract to kill Netto Hikari, and instead help him in saving the world.

Kinda crazy that the madman Netto and his friends fought twice, became a big help with Duo’s trial. Giving them info on Duo, the upgrade to their converters to generators. Wily rallying the old W3 operators against Neo W3. And finally, Concving Dark Miyabi to side with Team CrossFusion.

Tesla Magnets “Joined” TeamCrossfustion out of nasality. Things were up and down for Neo W3 Some of their operations were a success, but Netto and the Net Police foiled most. Neo W3 even started to manufacture its own Darkchips. While these new Darkchips are able to bypass the PET model III protections. the vaccine program is wieldy available, so their damaging effects aren’t as bad as back then.

If Asteroid Navis and Neo W3 weren’t enough, regal was back! When Netto and Rockman shot Regal with their powered-up Rock buster, it didn’t kill him, the explosion digitized his very being. Regal had been reforming on the Internet, and plotting. Accessing his hidden Nebula caches of Converters, because now he can’t manifest in the real world without a dimensional area.

Regal kidnapped Netto’s father, he wanted something called the Hikari report, it was the second half of an old equation made by Dr. Tadashi Hikari and Albert Wily! Regal already had the Wily report. So time was of the essence. Raika joined Netto and Enzan in their mission to stop Regal. They’ve tracked down a Regal to an old abandoned Ameroppa military island base where Dr.Wily once worked at.

They found Dr.Hikara, but he was trapped in some kind of capsule! Colonel Barel even came from the past to assist them. Even Forte was here! But it was all too late! Regal extracted the Hikari report from Dr. Yuichiro Hikari's mind! The madman started to digitize the world! Regal transformed into Nebula Grey. Nebula Grey was cruising Forte and Rockman in his large first, even Now Forte still wants Rockman’s ultimate program.

The two Navis merged. It was a completely new power called Cross! Forte Cross Rockman was an absolute beast, easily dispatching the abomination that was Regal Nebula Grey. after Regal was defeated the capsule was opened and Netto rescued his father. They all escaped except Barel who stayed behind. That was a tough battle, but the fight wasn’t over yet. Duo’s trial was going on.

When Rockman was fused with Forte, he learned what happened to Dr.Cossack. During the tower infiltration, Dr.Cossack found Forte in a special cell, made for him. Forte had a lot of power, besides powering Regal giant Laserman form, Forte also beefed up the security system. Dr.Cossack poured his heart out telling Forte that he was so sorry and failed him as his father. Dr.Cossack was running out of time to shut down the tower’s defenses, so the Doctor grabbed a chair and smashed the console, exposing its circuitry and wires, he rewired the internals and got electrocuted. Forte saw all this, and it changed him a little.

Neo W3 was officially done. Every member had been arrested, except Tesla Magnets. disturbingly, somebody wiped out memories of the Neo W3 Operatives. Tesla Magnets had been taken hostage by Dark Rockman. The fall of Neo W3 signaled the attack of the New Darkloids. Internet City was attacked by Cosmoman.EXE Larkman.EXE and Cloadman.EXE many Navis were taken! After defeating the Darkloids in the Cyber world they attacked the real world. The Darkloids had access to Nebula’s old Converters. Netto fought off the Darkloids valiantly, they managed to damage his Synchro Chip. Netto was called over to Sharo. When he got there he was shocked to see Nenji, Dingo,  Jasmine, Princess Pride, and Charlie there. Dr.Hikari and Meijin introduced them as Team CrossFusion!

As Team CrossFusion was getting to know each other, the Darkloids struck again. They hijacked a giant excavator and shielded it with a dimensional area! They sent it on a crash course to the nearest City. Team CrossFusion saved the city, even if it got rough in some parts. 

After Team CrossFusion's impromptu first mission, they went on a training camp. This was meant to build a sense of trust, teamwork, and coordination between them. But to some, it just looked like the team went on a beach trip. After the “Training camp.” Team CrossFusion went on their second mission. Investigate a set of ruins that is giving off the same energy signature as Duo’s comet. The ruins were an Instack spaceship from the race that created Duo! Before they could learn anything Slur showed up and destroyed the ship!

The Team CrossFusion finally learned of Tesla Magnets’ situation when Gauss Magnets came to Dex’s shop. There was a bit of friction between Gauss and Jack. Jack said he would help, but not because of Gauss, but for his niece, Tesla. Team CrossFusion fought their way up the tower, facing off against security robots, viruses, and Darkloids. The team finally saved Testa and made it out of the tower by humping out of the penthouse level while crossfused! When they got to safety Tesla and Gauss did a disappearing act. They were still wanted criminals after all. 

The Day of Duo’s judgment was coming closer and closer. It started with Dark Rockman and Cosmoman Attacking Yuriko. Dark Rockman wanted her Cress, He had already copied the other cress bearers' cress. Charlie and Tesla were thrown into the mix. Tesla wants payback for what the Darkloids did to her. If Dark Rockman wasn’t enough Regal was back! The bastard was still alive even after Forte Cross Rockman gave him a beating. After the battle, Dr.Wily came out of the shadows. The good Doctor had been tracking Regal since the Nebula Grey incident, to see if Regal was truly gone. Wily found out Regal was puppeteering the new Darkloids, now he has all the Cress. Netto asked how. Dr.Wily explains that 20 years ago father and son worked for Ameroppa. There were some anomalies with Colonel Barel so Wily scanned him and found the Cress, at the time he didn’t know what this was. Regal stole some data from Wily, who at the time thought it inconsequential at the time.

Judgment day had arrived. Asteroid Navis materialized all over the world causing havoc and destruction! TeamCrossusion members did their best to fight off the Asteroid Navis. Colonel contacted them, he was fighting Slur and he could use a hand. Maybe defeating Slur would slow down the attacks they thought. So Netto Enzan and Raika sent Rockman, Blues, and Searchman to aid Colonel. Slur was no joke! She easily overpowered Forte, and when the NetSaver Navis got there she already sent Colonel back to the past! The three Navis did their best, even hitting Slut with 3 Program advances! I did nothing! It looked like Slur obliterated the NetSaver navis, but no, she just transported them somewhere else.

The end was near. Everybody went to Ameroppa, the crater research outpost. This was it, do or die! Meanwhile Rockman, Blues, and Searchman. The 3 Navis ran into Dark Rockman and Slur. They knew they were no match for the alien Navi, Dark Rockman attacked Slur knowing he would be deleted, which gave the 3 the chance to get away. They safely reunited with their Operators.

The NetSaver had a problem, they lacked the Last Cress. Present Colonel Barel was dead. Netto and Enzan went to his apartment, maybe there was a clue there. When the two NetSavers got there, Dr.Wily was waiting for them! Wily tells the two of his and Colonel Barel’s first encounter with Duo, and the plan they formulated. Wily originally thought it would fall, due to so many variables, So he made W3 and Gospel. He had planned to destroy the Internet to make it look like Humanity had regressed in technology level so Duo would leave them alone for the moment. But of course, Netto and his friends foiled his plans twice. When Wily met present-day Barel, seeing him in his extremely advanced age shocked Wily, their original plan worked! So Wily changed gears, that's why he had been aiding them! Wily said just wait for Barel he’ll be here soon. And with that, he left on his rocket cart.

The crater became a battlefield Asteroid Navis were all over the place, they wanted to destroy the labs built on the crater. Colonel Barel finally arrived in the present, and Dr.Wily was waiting for him. The Good Doctor tossed Colonel Barela a Synchro Chip. Barrel knows what to do, he quickly transforms and joins the fight! While the Team CrossFusion was defending the lab, a certain cloak-wearing Navi challenged Slur, It was Forte! At first, Slur was unimpressed, she already had defeated this Navi, but soon regretted not taking Forte seriously. When Forte fused with Rockman to defeat Nebula Grey Regal, the two shared many things, from memories and experiences. After un-fusing Forte copied bits and pieces of Rockman’s ultimate program, So he’s powered up! Slur ended up deleted!

After the battle, they quickly assembled their Cress to open the way to Duo. Regal announced his big plan to usurp Duo become a god and take over the world. Clichéd villain stuff. Team CrossFused followed him! When the team finally caught up with Regal, he was now a dead husk! Regal was arrogant, thinking he could overtake the alien superintelligence.

Duo undid the crossFusion. He offered the Navis salvation, to come with him. Rockman and the others refused! They were more than just servants to humans, they were friends and family! Duo was moved by this, he wished to understand them more, and he needed a new herald. Barrel and Colonel decided to fuse with Duo. Team CrossFusion was sent back to Earth safe and sound, minus Barel and Colonel. They got Barel’s goodby message, he along with Colonel are gonna explore the universe! The world had been saved! Everybody celebrated, they watched as Duo’s Comet disappeared from view.

Now we are in the present day. Netto has graduated from Elementary school and is about to start Junior high. He was skating down the street. Netto and Rockman had just visited Dr.Cossack, the man had awoken from his coma a few days ago. They were glad Dr.Cossack finally recovered, and he was beyond shocked at what he missed when he was in a coma! Now Netto was making his way to Higure’s Chip shop to meet up with Dekao, Meiru, Toru, Mamoru, and Chisao.

“Netto! Netto! Netto! You can dodge this talk forever! You’re gonna start Junior high in two days!” Rockman screamed at his Operator.

“Oh, come on, Rockman. School hasn’t even started yet.  We can talk about this later!” Netto replied.

“No. Netto. We are having this conversation now! Meiru and Roll are right! I’m too soft on you. You need to take school work more seriously-” *Beep* *Beep* Rockman got interpreted by a call.

“Hello. Netto.” It was Officer Manabe. “We’ve got a call. Out-of-control and rampaging contraction equipment. The workers already evacuated the site. We think viruses took over the equipment's computers. You’re the closest one to the site, so can you check it out, Netto?” Asked the officer.

“No problem, Manabe-san. Me and Rockman will deal with it” Netto smiled.

“Great. But just in case I’m also calling Enzan.” Officer Manabe ended the call.

“Well, Rockman. We have a job to do.” Netto said as he skated to the site.

“Gah! Fine. You win this time. But after this, we are gonna talk!.” Rockman relented for the moment

When the brothers got to the construction site they saw bulldozers and excavators driving wildly, and cranes spinning in circles.

“Alright, Rockman. Let’s find a vantage point and look for the central control unit for the equipment-” Netto stopped talking and noticed the construction equipment all stopped and turned to face him!

 A Familiar cylinder popped out in the middle of the site.

“A CONVERTER!” Both Operator and Navi screamed in unison. Without hesitating Netto slotted in the Synchro Chip!

“GAAAAA HAHAHA! You utter fool! Fell right into my trap!” That voice No it couldn’t be! He was Deleted in the past! A vampire like Navi materialized, Shademna! He looked raged, missing an arm, like he barely held tougher “Netto Hikari, Rockman. I’m gonna end both of you!” Screamed the Darkloid 

*Boom* “Gah!” CF Rockman barely avoided Shademan’s Crush Noise! “How are you still alive?! Vulcan Slot in!!!”

*Pling* *Pling* *Pling* *Pling* Shademan just took all the Vulcan shots like it was nothing! “Hahaha! It that all you got! RED WING!”

A swarm of Bats rushes toward CF Rockman. “Program Advance! ZETA CANNON!” CF Rockman used a Program advance to destroy the swarm, but Shademna kept sending more bats his way!

“Bwahaha! My hate for you, humans, and the weak Navis that serve them is strong! And that hate let me reform! When I sacrificed my core to pave the way for a Darkloid future, I thought it would be the end of me! No! My will was too strong! But it was not without cost! My reformation is only temporary, I’m slowly getting deleted! I can never achieve my dream of a world dominated by Darkloids, so I’ll have to settle with killing you two!” Shademan screamed! 

The Darkloid was relentless, not giving the NetSaver any breathing room, constantly sending out attack after attack.

“ Finally! I have you where I want you!” Shademan had been controlling CF Rockman’s movements, he wanted the Netsaver in the middle of the dimensional area where the converter was! Shademan launched himself to CF Rockman.

“Gaah!” CF Rockman cried out in pain. Shademan has him pinned by his left arm and legs to the converter!

“GAH HAHAHA!!! THIS IS WHERE WE DIE!!! I MADE THIS CONVERTER UNSTABLE!!!!”

‘No! Not like this! …Well at least not the two of us!’ Netto’s mind raced quickly for what to do next. He could feel the converter heat up and shake. He could only do one thing… “Fuck you Cockroachman! You won't be taking the two of us!” Netto undid the fusion. With his free, he tossed his PET as hard as he could! “Live Saito!” He screamed!

“NOOOOO!!! NETTO!!!!” Rockman, No Saito. Understood what the brother did! *BWOOOM* He heard an explosion and PET was sent flying by the blast! “No… NEEEETTTTTTOOOOOOO!!!!” Saito screamed in utter despair. He felt a stabbing pain in his chest thanks to their Full Synchro bond, Saito collapsed in the PET.

Enzan and Blues got to the scene, along with several officers. Officer Manabe called him, saying maybe it was a simple virus clean-up job, but that quickly changed when they detected the formation of a dimensional area! The energy signature matches converters used by Nebula and the Darkloids! So more backup was called.

The site was a mess. Destroyed and turned over equipment, and a blast crater in the middle of the site. And no sight of Netto. “Blues. Scan for Netto’s PET.” Enzan said.

“Roger Enzan-Sama.” The Crimson Navi replied. “Right there, Netto’s PET signal is coming from there.” Blues said.

Enzan saw a pile of rubble and debris, he quickly dug through it finding Netto’s PET, scratched but still functional. “Rockman, respond. What happened.” Enzan tried to ask Rockman what happened, but the blue Navi was out cold. “Blues.”

“Right away Enzan-Sama.” Blues knew what to do. Quickly going over to  Netto’s PET he scanned Rockman. Blues found some damage and several anomalies that he couldn’t identify in his systems. “Enzan here are my findings.”

“Hmm…” Enzan looked over The data. The damage was simple enough to fix with recovery chips, but the anomalies he couldn’t figure out, did it have something to do with Rockman’s “Special origins?” 

“Gaah!” Rockman yelled out in pain as he awoke. He grabbed his chest.

“Easy there. Rockman.” Blues assisted him

“Rockman. What happened, where’s Netto?” Enzan asked.

“Netto… Nettto, he’ s he’s Gaaaah!” Rockman broke down and cried. “It it it IT was Shademan! That bastard! he hehe! GAAAH!” through the tears and pain Rockman Told Enzan and Blues what happened!

The news shocked Enzan and Blues! Netto Hikari was dead! It seems impossible! Netto and him had faced impossible odds, but they always made it out in one piece. Enzan just stood there for what felt like hours till an officer asked him if he was Okay. After snapping out of his shock state Enzan radioed HQ for an emergency meeting…

The meeting was at Scilab. Commissioner Kifune, Offecer Manabe, Dr.Yuichiro Hikari, Meijin, Shun, Raika, and Sereachman were waiting on Enzan and Blues. They were starting to worry. What seemed like a routine assignment became complicated when they detected a Nebula Dimentinal area, then they lost contact with Netto and Rockman, and now Enzan called an emergency meeting. They were worried that this was the start of a new incident, a new set of Darkloids, or was  Regal back from dead, again! Enzan finally arrived, he had a grime demeanor about him, and then he pulled out Netto’s PET, which looked scuffed. He handed it to Dr.Hikari. Enzan said Netto might be dead. The room was silent for a moment, not fully grasping what Enzan just said! Enzan tells them what happened, and Rockman confirms it. Rockman was in too much pain to say it himself.

Everybody was silent for a moment, not believing what happened! Everything Netto has gone through, the insane stunts he pulled, the battles he had fought. They got used to Netto always winning, or at the very least coming back in one piece.

Finally. Dr.Hikari processed what was said, he fell to his knees. “No… NOOOOOO! NEEEEETTTTTTOOOOOO!!!” The man let out a cry full of despair. He had lost a son, and this time it looked like he couldn't save him.

In an amusement park screams and explosions could be heard. It wasn’t screams of joy and laughter, and the explosions weren’t fireworks or pyrotechnics. It was the screams of terror and fear of people running for their lives! The explosions were heavy weapons and ordinance. The amusement park was being attacked by Mavericks, Reploids, and people that had gone mad only wanting to cause chaos and destruction or thought they were above others and deserved to rule and would use any means to achieve that goal These Mavericks seemed to be the former, why else would they just attack defenseless families and park goers other than bloodlust?

“RUN AILE!!! IT’S ALRIGHT DARLING MOMMY WILL FIND YOU LA- AAUGAH!” A woman was mercilessly cut down by a purple prime ape Reploid. 

The little girl named Aile ran with tears in her eyes. *Boom* An explosion knocks her down. Aile thought this was the end, that behind her was a Maverick who was gonna end her. As she stood back up and turned around she saw a boy who looked about her age, he was badly injured, clothes ripped, tattered and burned, he was bleeding from his head! Aile tried to assist the boy. Galleon found them, they were about to be gunned down, by *Slice* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom* The Maverick exploded! Help Finally arrived.

“This is Gudian Team One! We need heavy weapons and evac for the civilians !” “Guardian 1 -2 here I’ve got wounded!” “Wing Guardian 2 -2! I’ve got eyes on targets and civilians! Forwarding coordinates!” All around her, Aile hears voices of people fighting back. Then she hears “Hey now it’s okay I’m here to help.” Aile saw the owner of the voice through her blurry vision, all she could make out was a silhouette of a warrior holding a beam saber, then she lost consciousness.

Giro saw the sight in front of him, two kids caught up in this horrible event, a boy and a girl. The boy needed medical attention. He carefully picked them up and called somebody. “Prairie. Can the other Gurdaian handle things for the moment, I’ve got two kids, and one of them is severely injured!”

“The other can handle himself for the moment. Get those kids to safety!” A girl’s voice said.

A great airship called the Grand Nuage was hovering above the smoldering ruins that were once had been an amusement park, it was a sad and dreary sight. A petite blonde girl wearing a military commander’s uniform was sitting on a command chair on the ship’s bridge. She was reading after-action reports of the operation, and listening in on radio communications from her people on the ground. It looks like the Maverick horde has dispersed, all that is left to do is clean up, hunt down the remnants of the horde so they can’t do more harm in other areas, and rescue and its grim counterpart, recovery of the dead. 

*Swoosh* The blonde hears the bridge doors open, she spins her chair to greet the newcomer. It was a tall bespeckled blonde man wearing a red shirt. “Ah, Giro. Done already?” The Girl smiled.

“Yeah. You know me, Prairie. Customer satisfaction guaranteed. Ha ha.” The man laughs casually “I wiped out several units of Mavericks, some even having large and heavily armed Mechaniloids with them.” taking a breath and polishes his glasses. “So how are the kids I save?” He asked as he put his glasses back on looking more serious.

Prairie looking a little sad now. Exhaling a bit, as she brings up a data pad. “The girl, Aile sustained some mirror bruising, most of her injuries are mental, she saw her mother die right in front of her. And she has no other relatives to take care of her.” This news saddens both Prairie and Giro. Aile’s story is nothing new, she is just one of hundreds of victims of Mavericks. But it still isn’t right, especially for such a young child! It made the normally calm and jovial man angry.

Prairie saw Giro’s rising Anger and quickly changed subjects. “As for the boy, there were complications.” As soon as Giro heard those words his face fell, was he too slow or he wasn’t careful enough while carrying him?! “Ah. Sorry. Complications was the wrong word. It’s just…” Giro's mind was now running so many scenarios on what happened. Prairie sees she is stressing out Giro quickly clarifies! “The boy is safe and alive! The complicated thing is he’s a complete ghost!” Okay, this got Giro to calm down. But he looked inquisitively at his old friend. Prairie takes in a deep breath and begins her explanation. “When the boy got the medics, they tried to look for his records and came out empty. They used every available identification avenue, again empty. Seeing as they were wasting precious time in saving a life they went ahead with the medical scans and discovered he was pure human!”

“P-p-p-p Pure human! Didn’t the last one die out 185 or was it 202 years ago!” Said a shocked Giro.

After the Neo-Arcadian wars, to bridge the gap between humans and Reploids. Reploids were given artificial lifespans, and Biomachncal organs, while humans got cybernetic enhancements and implants. Some humans started a movement called the pure and natural human movement. Who decided that they didn’t want to get the cybernetics and implants. Everybody agreed to let them live their life their way. And they didn’t last long, the Pure humans went for one and a half generations. Now all humans wouldn’t even think of going “natural,” Due to most being born with enhanced thanks to modern technology. And seeing no point in doing it, there was no harm in the enhanced capabilities and longer lifespans.

“Yeah. And the medics were dumbfounded! They called me and asked what to do. They couldn’t just perform the surgeries and give the boy the cybernetics and implants without his or a guardian’s consent. The kid was in bad shape, so I told them to do it! I’ll take the heat for them.” Prairie then smiled. “And that is not even the strangest part!”

“Whaa- What! How could it get stranger!” Screamed Giro.

Prairie. smiles as she continues. “The medics took the boy to a nearby hospital. There they commandeered a surgery room, equipment, and materials. They want to keep the boy’s previous status under wraps. After they stabilized him, the medics did more scans on him, and they found out his injuries didn’t come from the Maverick attack and he was covered in radiation similar to Cyberworld distortion! “ The blonde Reploid girl smiled at her friend’s reaction. “Yeah. Our little friend is full of surprises! We already know kids a ghosts, but I ordered the Guardians to look at the park’s security footage. Well, it’s best to see for yourself.” Prairie handed Giro a tablet.

It was footage of Aile running away, then an explosion knocked her down. The boy appeared in the middle of the explosion! Giro rewound the footage, the explosion didn’t come from a weapon. It was an unstable Transerver teleport! Giro has been in several of those, due to him needing to make a speedy getaway during some missions. But it still doesn’t answer why he’s covered in Cyberworld radiation.

“Our working theory is that the boy is from a hidden Pure human colony in the wilds. They might have been attacked leading the boy to use an old transerver or he was exploring and playing around.” Giro mulled over Prarie’s theory. It made sense, as far-reaching as it was. “And, Giro. Those kids are awake now. So if you want to visit them.” She taps her data pad a few times. “Here’s the there location. Oh. Another thing. The boy has amnesia. ” Of course, things couldn’t be easy! They couldn’t just as the kid who he was and where he came from!

“Thank you, Prairie.” And with that, Giro left.

When Aile woke up, a nurse came by and explained where she was and what had happened. It all came back to her… She had asked the nurse to leave her alone for a bit. The nurse reluctantly left. When Aile was finally alone she balled herself up and cried for what felt like hours. Her mother was gone.

*Knock* *Knock* “Um. can I come in?” An unknown male voice asked.

Aile was hesitant to even reply. But it would be rude, and it might be a doctor. “Um. come in?” She said in an unsure tone. The man who entered wasn’t a Doctor. Aile was curious why this man would visit her.

“Um… Hello? I’m Giro.” The man awkwardly introduced himself. “I was in the park when the attack happened. I wasn’t injured so I decided to help out with the rescue efforts, I helped the paramedics bring you to the hospital.”

“Thank you…” That Was all Aile could say.

“I wanted to check up on you…” Giro wanted to be careful with his words. What Aile went through was terrible. “I heard what happened. I’m sorry… I know what it feels like losing people to Maverick attacks.” The room was silent for only a moment, yet it felt like hours. Oh. I’m sorry if I’m making you uncomfortable… If you want me to leave, just say the word.”

Aile was just lost in thought. The man helped her and wanted to check up on her. He knows what she is going through. “No, Mr.Giro. Don’t leave.” She said in a quiet whisper. She doesn’t want to be alone

 “Alright. I’ll stay.” Giro said with a warm smile to comfort the girl.

Giro sat on a chair beside the bed, While Aile sat up in the bed. For a while, they just enjoyed the silence. Giro thought this would be a good time to ask. “Aile… would you like for me to take you in?” This shocked the little girl. “I will never replace your mother, all I want to do is help you.”

Aile thought about it for a while. “I would like that.” She said.

Giro smiles at her. “Alright. All we need to do next is contact some folks and get some paperwork signed. Oh, and do you remember a little boy? He was brought in with you.

! Right! Aile remembers the boy, he was more hurt than her, she tried to help him, but then everything went black. She nodded at Giro.

“Well, he’s in the same hospital, I’m planning to visit him next. And ask him if he wants to come with me too. So wanna come join me in seeing him?’” Aile nods again.

When they got to the boy's room, Giro saw how different he acted compared to Aile. He had a neutral expression. “Oh. Hi! Do you know who I am?” he asked the two.

“Um… No. Sorry.” Replied Giro. The boy became sad now. “I’m Giro, and this is Aile.” He introduced him both.

“Ah. Hello.” Aile shyly greased the boy from behind Giro.

After settling in the three talked. The boy was curious about everything, he didn’t know what a Maverick was, heck, he didn’t even know what a Reploid was! Asking about the red triangle on Giro’s forehead. He was curious and excited to learn new things! After a while, Giro gives the boy the same offer he gave to Aile. He immediately accepted, with no hesitation or thinking about it like Aile. After agreeing, the boy now asked if they could help him pick a name. After a while, they came to settle on Vent.
