Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Chapter Text
It had been an incredible slow day and Yoongi couldn’t wait for it to be finally over, so that he could close his little shop and go home and take a well deserved shower.
His favorite time of the day was when he could finally sit in his couch and do nothing, but exist as he stared at his tv or listened to some good music, before passing out in his bed.
He valued his rest, and after a day like that he needed to sleep ten hours straight.
He had sent Jungkook, his brother, and for the time being only employee, home for the day, due to the low number of customers, and he didn’t foresee an evening rush, since it was disgusting outside.
The omega wasn’t surprised, it was the middle of august, and it had been one of the hottest and most humid days of the year.
His small wall A/C was cranked to the max, doing it’s best to blow cool air through the store, just barely enough to keep the humidity out, so he couldn’t imagine how it felt to be outside without any layer of protection from the blazing heat.
He had watched people sweat as they walked by the front of his store, for most of the day, and he couldn’t blame them for not being interested in buying his beautiful bouquets, or one of his cute little house plants.
On such a day, they were probably in a hurry to go home or somewhere more refreshing than the streets.
He was surprised to see people outside at all, and he had frowned at a few people jogging, wondering what was going through their minds for wanting to torture themselves in such a way. He would never be caught running, not even if it was to save his life, so he didn’t get the hype of going to run willingly, as if life wasn’t tiring enough as it is.
It hadn’t been a totally wasted day, thankfully. He had had the occasional customer come in, either looking to buy something for a special occasion, or for a special person, or maybe just using the excuse to stand indoors in a place with air conditioning, and buy something just out of guilt. Not that he cared, after all who was he to judge, he would have probably done the same under those conditions.
Jungkook had offered to do the few scheduled deliveries that were in plan for that day, and Yoongi had let him without much fight. Their tiny delivery van was a piece of shit and didn’t have working A/C. The alpha was aware of how much Yoongi hated the heat, and he had reassured him he didn’t mind, the omega aware that his dongsaeng would be one of those that would be jogging under this heat if given the opportunity, so he had no issues in letting him have his way and fry in the blazing sun. He was young and an alpha in his prime, he could handle it. Plus, Jungkook hated to deal with customers on most days due to his shyness, and preferred to be in the go. Yoongi wasn’t going to get in the way of that.
He looked up at the clock that was hanging on the wall, right above the door, and grumbled softly.
He had been in a lovely mood for the whole day.
If by lovely, you meant being grumpy and snapping at his poor brother for the brief time he was in the store, he wasn’t surprised Jungkook had literally thrown himself out of the store in the heat when he told him he could leave.
It was only five in the afternoon, and closing time wasn’t till seven thirty, so he needed to get creative and find some fun or at least time consuming acitivity to pass the time.
He was a pretty quiet person and enjoyed silence and calmness, but sometimes it was better for him to fill it with something, anything, that would keep his mind away from its usual depressing thoughts.
He looked around with a small frown on his lips.
He had already taken care of most of the the tasks that came with owning a business, the accounting, orders for the deliveries, and supplies and, he didn’t have to start payroll until next week.
Music would usually help him through a slump, but his little stereo was broken and he was waiting for the new one he had ordered online to be delivered, and he had stopped using headphones while in the store. Customers didn’t like that, it made them feel like he wasn’t listening to them, and they would always treat him rudely for it.
Sometimes he would use his free time to write down some lyrics, but lately he had a bad writer’s blocks, and his little notebook that he jealously kept in a drawer in his office had gone untouched for the past couple of months, as well as his piano in his home.
He had a degree in music composition and production, but had not done anything with it.
As soon as he had graduated, his beloved halmeoni had passed away and he had surprisingly inherited the flower shop, much to his parents and his own dismay.
He hadn’t had the heart to sell it, it had been her dying wish for him to inherit and keep the little store she had dedicated all of her life to alive.
She had told him, in a letter that she had left in her will, that amongst all of her grandchildren, he was the only one that had the sensitivity and heart to keep the flowers alive.
Whatever that meant, he had worked hard to keep the store going, and it was now his little pride and joy.
He still missed music though, but he tried to suppress the longing by writing and playing his piane, but it wasn’t enough and with his writer’s block it hurt even more.
So, every day, he tried to think about it a little less, hoping it would also hurt less.
He went through his little to-do list that was attached on a little board with a pin, which was hanging on the wall near the cash register, and read his little not so tidy scribbles on it.
He had taken care of all the customer’s orders, he had a few for tomorrow he had to take care of, but he usually didn’t like to prepare bouquets in advance, wanting to make sure the flowers were the most fresh and beautiful as possible, reason why he kept a very small selection of ready-to-go bouquets, in case someone was in rush and they didn’t want to wait for him to make one, or if Jungkook was in the store by himself.
He always liked to leave a selection for him to hand to customers in case of need.
He was learning how to put together some compositions, but he was still slow, and people would sometimes huff and get impatient at that, and he didn’t want his brother to have to deal with that, on top of of rude customers, and his social anxiety.
He didn’t have much else left to do, his phone had been quiet for most of the afternoon, all of his friends busy with their own jobs. His brother had probably already ran to the gym, where he spent most of his time, especially now that he was on summer break from college, and didn’t know what to do with all his free time.
Apparently he had decided to get even more huge and build more muscle than he already had, his competitive spirit spurred on by his new gym friend, a certain Park Jimin, an alpha two years older, which apparently liked to challenge his brother into all sorts of weird competitions. He wasn’t too interested to know more about it, the less he knew the better it was for his sanity, but he wasn’t blind, he had seen the way his brother was bulking up, he was almost sure that he could crush him with his huge arms if only he tried.
The omega let out a small puff of air out of his mouth, and carded his fingers through his platinum blonde hair, pushing them back, to keep them away from his forehead. He had forgot his hairband and had been fighting with his fringe for the whole day. He had let them grow a little longer than usual, his dark roots were starting to peek through, and he huffed, making a note to ask one of his friends to help him cover them before the weekend, and maybe cut them as well.
Jungkook and he had a family event to attend and he knew his mother would make a comment about it if he didn’t. He knew she meant well, always worried about his well being, about not having a stable relationship at the ripe age of 27 (After all, all of her friend’s omega children were married with children of their own), and not looking like he was even trying to settle down and putting himself out there to get to know someone.
Even just thinking about all of that made him want to roll his eyes and just hurl into his nest ands not come out until next year. It’s not like he didn’t want all of that, he just had to find the right person, which was a task in itself, especially if he thought about all of his previous catastrophic relationships.
His previous experiences had done nothing but turn him into the cynical and resigned person he was today.
His friends and his family were, not so secretly, concerned about him. His parents very vocal in voicing their opinions and thoughts on the matter, always asking him about his life, and looking disappointed every time Yoongi had to confirm that yes, he had yet to find someone, and no, he wasn’t interested in meeting his mother’s friend alpha lawyer son. At one point, his mother had dramatically sighed, throwing her hands in the air, as if begging to some deity above to give her strength. He didn’t blame her, he needed some too, if not for anything else, just to deal with her.
Hoseok, one of his best friends, was always trying to set him up on blind dates with random people that he met in his dance classes. He loved Hoseok with all his heart, he really did, but sometimes he felt the urge to punch him.
He learnt to ignore them and strongly refused any attempt to be set up. He wasn’t that desperate.
No, not yet at least, and he had more pride than that.
He was, although he wouldn’t admit it to a living soul, scared of ending up alone.
His insecurities loved to play with his mind, and he feared he had become unapproachable and unlovable due to his shitty past partners, all alphas who had dumped him, or who he had dumped due to deep incompatibility, but who hadn’t been mature enough to accept the fact that their relationship wasn’t as perfect as they thought.
They always made it a point of blaming him for his lack of trying.
And he had started to believe them.
Maybe he didn’t have what it took to be with someone.
He wasn’t sure he was the kind of person anyone would want to build a relationship with, too cold, too aloof, too scared to open up his heart and get hurt, but, he also thought that that assessment wasn’t fully correct.
He was sure he had never found a person worth opening up to, so it wasn’t completely his fault.
He still held a little bit of hope that with the right person by his side, he would be able to show them his true self, all of his sides, including the side of him that knew how to love deeply, because he was sure it was there, somewhere deep.
So he held a small glimmer of hope, his little romantic self well tucked underneath all of his layers, fighting to preserve his heart.
The only one who seemed to understand him was Jungkook, his quiet, shy and aloof baby brother, who supported him quietly and lovingly, and who had always tried to protect him, even against their parents.
He was the shield that would push back when they became overbearing, and who would threaten his boyfriends, when they became abusive and toxic.
He was the umbrella that protected him through the storm, making sure he would be kept dry and safe.
He took care of him whenever he needed it, making sure he had food ready for him on days he felt tired, who offered a shoulder to lean on when he was sad, and whose quiet presence was a soothing balm to Yoongi’s soul on days when he felt his depression sneak out and try to take him down with it.
On those days he would barely get out of his room, and Jungkook would slip out of the house and take care of the store for him, despite being busy with college, he would make sure his business was taken care of, because he knew how important the little flower shop was to him.
On really bad days, he would sit in his room next to him, in complete silence, just to let him know he wasn’t alone, and also because he feared what he would do in such a state, although he had never expressed his fears, Yoongi knew they were there. And he felt so terribly guilty for putting his brother through that.
He was the oldest, he should be the one to take care of Jungkook, not the other way around, but his brother never complained. From the day he was born he had been Yoongi’s salvation. He deserved better, and Yoongi did his best to return those affections, reason why he had considered therapy, although he was hesitant, because he wasn’t sure he wanted to air out all of his deepest feelings to a stranger. But he also knew that Jungkook didn’t deserve to spend the rest of his life worrying about him.
He sighed and grabbed the small purple watering can he kept under the counter and figured he could at least water some of the indoor plants he had on display and that needed his attention, thankful that the greenhouse had a sprinkler system installed so he didn’t have to go out in the stupid heat.
It usually was his favorite time of the day, taking care of his plants in his little quiet store, as the heavy afternoon sun shined brightly through the glass doors, but he didn’t feel in such a great mood today. Maybe it was that he hated summer and he just couldn’t wait to go home and crawl into the safety of his little nest and watch some movies while he cuddled with Jungkook or his fellow omega friend Hoseok.
He returned his attention to his plants, smiling softly as he stroked one of the Echeveria elegans’ thick leaves. It was his favorite succulent, and he had a few of them at home on his windowsill. Jungkook called them his babies, although it was ridiculous, he figured they kind of were.
He did take care of them a lot, and made sure they weren’t lacking the sun and water they needed.
The other succulents he had in the store, needed to be moved, since they had been in the sun on the same side for most of the day, and he didn’t want to risk just one side getting most of the sun. They were his favorites, he kept them protected underneath a small shade, because the direct contact with the light wasn’t good for them.
He then moved on to the philodendron, watering the smaller pots, and then moving on to the bigger ones, occasionally plucking a withered leaf. During the process, he found himself occasionally talking to one of them, and he sighed once he caught himself doing that for the third time as he watered one of the red anthurium plants he kept by the cash register.
It had only took him about an hour to get done with his little task. It hadn’t taken him as long as he had thought, and he pouted at the clock indicating that he still had an hour and a half to go. He placed the watering can underneath the counter, and brushed his arm on his forehead. He felt sweaty despite the A/C blowing.
The omega looked around with both hands on his waist, and figured he could rearrange some of the small bouquets, maybe take out the flowers that didn’t look as lively, and replace them so they were ready for tomorrow. Hopefully it wouldn’t be as hot and he would have more customers to keep him busy.
While he was plucking some of the greenery out of one of the bouquets, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He lowered the flowers on the counter, and wiped his hands on his small green apron, before fishing for it in the pocket of his skinny jeans.
He raised an eyebrow when he saw it was from Jungkook and let out an annoyed grunt when he read the content of the short message.
Kook:
’Going out with Namjoonie-hyung! See you later, don’t wait up for me hyung!’
Yoongi rolled his eyes, Namjoon was his brother’s new boyfriend. He had been quite shocked when his shy baby brother had told him he had met a cute omega he wanted to ask out, and sooner than he expected, their relationship had progressed. They had been dating for a couple of months now, and the two were completely smitten. It was cute to see Jungkook so bashful and with heart shaped eyes every time he gushed about the older omega, telling Yoongi how cute he looked while studying in the library, or telling him about something cute he had done while they were together.
He was sure he had never seen his brother so enamored, and he was sincerely happy for him, although at times, on his bad days he couldn’t help but feel jealous.
Yoongi still had to meet him, his brother saying that he still wasn’t ready to introduce him to his family, and he respected that, but he was curious.
He had only seen pictures of him, and he had to admit the omega was cute, and he understood why his brother had decided to pursue him.
He just hoped he wouldn’t break his brother’s heart, for Jungkook was the sweetest alpha around,.
You:
‘No worries Kook-ah. Have fun, say hi to Namjoon for me’

Kook:
‘Will do hyung!’
Yoongi pocketed his phone and sighed. He really didn’t feel like eating alone, but he assumed he could just grab some food from the ramen place on the way home, and relax on the sofa and watch a movie, maybe he would indulge and grab some ice-cream from the supermarket as well.
“Maybe Yijeong is right, and I should go out more often.” he muttered to himself as he picked up the abandoned flowers.
He finished rearranging them and put them back in the vases by the door, and in the meantime checked the loose cut flowers to make sure they were all in good condition. He made a mental note to check the daisies in the morning for he didn’t like how they were looking, he wasn’t too worried, he was supposed to receive a new shipping of different colors of daisies tomorrow, so he could easily replace them then.
He looked up at the clock again and huffed again, he had been staring at it quite more than usual, but he also doesn’t remember the last time he felt so bored out of his mind.
He walked back around the counter, his back to the door, as he remembered he had to check the little laptop he kept in the office and that needed to be shut off before he left for the day, when he heard the small chimes he had placed on the front door tinkle lightly, warning him that a customer had walked in. He groaned softly, of course someone would show up as soon as he left the front of the store, it was some sort of unspoken rule.
“I’ll be right with you” he let out, raising his voice slightly to make sure the customer heard him, and with a quick pace, walked back to the store area, not raising his eyes immediately as he was trying to wipe off some yellowish stains from his hands that he had got from touching the lilies.
“Welcome to ‘In Bloom’ how can I help you today?” He asked, realizing he was being impolite, he leaned his hands on the counter and finally raised his eyes, fixing them on the man that had just walked in the store and who was giving him his back as he studied some of the loose flowers he kept in the corner of the store.
Realizing that he was being spoken to, the man turned around and Yoongi felt his mouth and throat go dry as soon as he saw his face. Yoongi was sure the heat was playing a trick on him, and he seriously had to remind himself to close his mouth, and maybe, if possible try to not look like a gaping fish out of water. .
Because the man that had just casually walked in his store, had to be the most gorgeous man he had ever had the luck to see standing in his modest flower shop.
He was an alpha, at least he had to be, if the strong sandalwood scent coming off of him didn’t betray him.
He wasn’t wearing blockers, and with the heat, he was obviously sweating, causing his scent to be more heady and intense. Yoongi gripped the counter, his knuckles going white as he tried to control his reaction at the strong alpha pheromones wafting his way, trying to breathe from his mouth, already feeling his mind going blank.
Stupid biology, of course it would give up on him in front of such a Greek god.
He was sure that if he wasn’t wearing his scent blocker, his strawberry scent would be invading the store, reacting to the handsome alpha.
The stranger didn’t seem to notice his little panic attack, nor the way he was obviously staring, and he was thankful for that, so he could gawk at him without being too obvious, and take in the rest of his beautifully built body.
He was tall and lean, slightly muscular, not in the exaggerated way Jungkook was, but he could see the defined biceps barely hidden by the white shirt he was wearing, rolled around the sleeves.
He was wearing a pair of dark dress pants, and a the short sleeved shirt was tucked in them.
His sun kissed skin looked even darker against the white, and his long neck looked delicious, covered by a thin layer of sweat.
His face though, was what made Yoongi feel like short circuiting. Full red lips, a long slim nose with a pretty mole right on the tip, and another parallel on his cheek and under his lash line in his right eye. Dark curly hair covered most of his forehead, and Yoongi wished he could reach out and touch them, to feel them under his fingers, and see if they were as silky as they looked and, to see the expanse of his forehead.
His hands felt tingly and he had to actually concentrate to not reach out and touch the walking Adonis that had just blessed his store in that disgusting afternoon.
The incredibly handsome male smiled at him, and Yoongi almost felt like blushing like a schoolgirl as he felt his eyes on him, and just when Yoongi thought he couldn’t be more perfect, his deep voice made his stomach churn, and his knees almost buckle.
“Oh hello there! I’m here for some flowers”
Yoongi had to control himself, he was sure his two surviving brain cells were about to give forfeit. He was a weak omega male, of course he would feel like drooling in front of such a perfect specimen. How embarrassing of him, he hoped the other wouldn’t notice him acting like a fool. He really did hate that part of his biology.
“Well it seems like you’re in the right place” He gestured with his hands to all the flowers surrounding them, praying that his voice sounded as steady as he wanted it to be. He wasn’t a religious person, but if there really was a God up there, he really needed him to give him strength, because he wasn’t sure he was going to survive this interaction. He could go home and die from embarrassment later, but right now he really needed some mercy.
“I-yes. Looks like I am” he gave a quick look around looking slightly lost and shy, and the omega wondered if it was the first time he was setting foot in a flower shop.He was looking around with wide eyes, but Yoongi caught him look at him a couple of times. He tried to not think much of it, it was maybe because he was acting like his usual awkward as fuck self, so he couldn’t blame him if he thought he was a little strange. Maybe he could blame it on the heat.
“So…how can I help you?” He leaned on the counter with his elbows, looking straight at the gorgeous customer. He would not miss the chance to admire such a fine member of the opposite subgender so closely, although he felt his cheeks flush, he was still determined to act as professionally as possible and try (unsuccessfully) not to gawk at him.
“Well I need flowers” the man put his hands in his pockets, and bit his lip, his white teeth peeking through the full red flesh, and Yoongi, just for a second thought he felt his sandalwood scent spike as he rested his eyes on him, but it was so quick he assumed he had imagined it.
“Yes. I think we established that. Is it for a gift?” He smiled softly, trying to not look intimidating as usual, assuming the other male hadn’t made up his mind yet. The man nodded, and Yoongi mimicked him, nodding his head slightly, a few strands of blonde hair falling in front of his eyes. He quickly brushed them off with his hand, and he felt the man’s eyes still on him.
“Okay. Is it for a special someone?” He had to ask if they wanted to get somewhere, but deep down he hoped to get a negative answer, which was very foolish of him. It’s not like he would have any chance with a man as good looking as the one standing in front of him, looking perfect like a Greek God, but one could only hope. Maybe it was for a loved family member, romantic partners weren’t the only ones to receive flowers after all.
“I was hoping you could help me, It’s my boyfriend’s birthday, but I don’t know what to get for him. My brother suggested flowers, and here I am, since I couldn’t come up with a better idea”
Yoongi schooled his face trying not to display his disappointment in such a blatant way, his hopes crushing down immediately.
Of course a man that looked like that would have a significant other. Someone who was probably just as gorgeous as he was.
Someone bland looking like Yoongi could never compare or even aspire to ever be remotely attractive or interesting for such a fine looking young man. He was aware he wasn’t as attractive, as cute, pretty and didn’t dress as nicely as other omegas, something his mother, in a loving way, always pointed out. It was probably one of the reasons why he was destined to die alone, surrounded by his plants, and maybe a bunch of cats.
He instead hummed softly, bringing his hand on his chin as he looked around the store, trying to gather some ideas studying the various colorful flowers that were filling the stands, he walked around the counter, and closer to the man noticing how tall he was compared to him, it made a small shiver ran through his spine, wondering how it would feel to be encased in those slender but strong looking arms, he blinked, trying to reign in his thoughts. He really needed to get a hold of himself.
He got an idea as he looked at the ready-to-go collection he had on the side.
“I could make a nice hand tied bouquet using flowers of his favorite color? I’ve done a lot of those, and usually people like them” He offered, scrunching his nose as he tried to come up with some ideas, the gorgeous Adonis wasn’t being much help, and Yoongi for a second wondered if he really cared about said boyfriend, since it didn’t seem like he was putting much thought into his gift.
It was a silly thought, because if he didn’t care about him he wouldn’t be in his store buying flowers for him in the first place. But Yoongi had seen different sorts of situations so nothing really surprised him. He had seen partners buy flowers simply to get their significant other to forgive them for some bad action, most of the Tim’s for cheating, or just because they were expected to without any romantic thought, but just out of obligation. The worst ones though were the ones that would buy two or more identical bouquets to give to their mate and their side piece, who he was sure, knew nothing about the other. If he hadn’t given up on love already, his job would have probably made him give up on it, so you couldn’t blame him for being so skeptical in the first place.
“That sounds nice, sorry, I know I’m not being much help, but Hyunwoo… he comes from a rich family and has everything one could think of, so every time it’s really hard to buy gifts for him, and we haven’t been together for that long so…” The man explained with the smallest hint of a fond smile, scratching his head cutely, and his eyes betrayed his emotions. He really did care for his boyfriend, and Yoongi almost wanted to return the smile, although that emotion wasn’t directed at him, for the briefest second he wished it was. He felt a twinge of envy. He never had anyone speak like that of him with such emotion in their eyes.
“No worries, I’m here to help after all.” He tried to answer back with a small smile on his pink lips.
“So, what colors does he like?”
He tried to sound unaffected, and cleared his throat, as he tried to get his weird intrusive thoughts out of his head. He didn’t understand why his brain had decided to abandon him right in that moment, but he really did need his neurons to connect and do some of the work, because he was about to throw hands and curl into a ball on the floor.
He walked around, stroking some roses with his fingertips. They were his favorites, a light delicate baby pink. Pink wasn’t even his favorite color, but he just found those roses the prettiest, and he loved to touch their soft petals.
“Those are really pretty” The alpha observed, an unreadable expression on his face. He was watching him attentively, and Yoongi felt his throat go dry again under his intense stare. Was he being silly? Standing there petting the roses as he waited for the man to give him an answer? The stranger was now following the movement of his fingers, and Yoongi looked down at the flowers he was sort of petting, figuring that he should say something to break the weird tension.
“They’re my favorite. I mean… I like the way they look, pink roses symbolize admiration, happiness and love”
The alpha tilted his head, his deep hazel eyes still on him, and Yoongi for a second felt like he wanted to melt, or disappear, or maybe both. If he melted he could just maybe attempt to slide under the door and run away.
“I really like that. Do you know the meaning of all the flowers in here?” He asked genuinely interested, one of his tanned, huge hands now stroking a leaf on one of the little violet plants he kept on one of the stands.
“I…flowers weren’t really my thing growing up…but my halmeoni loved them and she taught me a lot. Plus Google is really convenient in certain cases” he shrugged, he was no plant expert, but he was learning, and day by day he was doing a little better, and he was satisfied when he saw the little seeds he had planted, germinate into tiny little plants. It made his hard work worth it, and he felt like a proud eomma when he saw the little sprouts rise out of the dirt. He talked to them and nurtured them, making sure they had the right amount of sun and water, and working out their schedules, and having Jungkook follow them faithfully when he wasn’t able to do it. Fuck, maybe he really did need to get a life.
The alpha laughed at that “I guess it is convenient. A lot of people might want to know the meaning behind the flowers they’re buying, right? At least to know if they’re sending the right message”
“When you can’t use words, use flowers. It seems like a good plan. From what I’ve seen it works”
The man moved quietly, and he was now standing right next to Yoongi, who was still playing with the roses, and looked at them for a few seconds, looking deep in thought, as if making some hard decision. His brows were furrowed and a little crease formed between his eyebrows, and Yoongi smiled to himself. He looked cute, and he really wanted to lean forward to smooth the little fold of skin. He shook that idea right out of that mind, as he felt the stranger’s gaze on him again.
“Hyunwoo is not really fond of pink…but since they’re your favorite I think they should go in the bouquet”
Yoongi looked up at the man’s pretty face (damn he was tall) eyes wide, and cheeks tinted red as the red carnations that were next to the roses, and that almost paled in comparison to his face. Why was this alpha making him so flustered? He suddenly felt hot, and he was sure he was sweating, even though he was standing right next to the A/C.
”I just…I didn’t mean you have to pick them, we can always find something better if-“
“No, it’s okay. I really like them, I think you could make something truly amazing with them” the stranger tried to reassure him with his deep voice, and a hint of a soft smile. He had a fond expression in his brown eyes, and the omega had to look away from how intense they were.
Yoongi could only nod dumbly, glad that he was a still able to act like a functioning human being, and a professional one at that. He was good at his job, at least he was confident in that. He moved around the other stands full of beautiful flowers, and he felt the alpha’s gaze following him around, and he tried to not look at him, he was trying to concentrate and come up with a nice bouquet.
“I could put them together with some white peonies over there and I could also add some greens and maybe some baby breath to make it nicer, and wrap it with a nice ribbon? it will raise the price, but like I said the result will be much better”
“Sure, do what you have to, you have my full trust. Show me what you got!”
Yoongi just nodded and walked around the stands, picking the flowers he would need for the bouquet, feeling the man’s stare on him. His cheeks were probably never go back to a normal color after this interaction. He felt mortified, but he had a job to finish, so he walked back behind his counter, where his little work station was located.
The alpha walked up to the counter, resting one of his hands there, the other one still in his pocket. His intense eyes were now on Yoongi’s hands, who was working fast, arranging and rearranging flowers, cutting stems when they were too long, and trying to adjust them in a pretty little composition. He tried not to think on the man’s careful gaze on him, and did his best to finish fast because he was sure his brain was going to have an aneurysm, or he was going to die from self combustion from the stranger looking at him so intensely. He finished it off wrapping it in pretty pink paper with some tulle, to make it look fancier and more appropriate for a gift. He tried to hide the fact his hands were trembling working fast, and precisely, and he hoped the other didn’t notice. He poked his tongue out as he tired to cut the stem of a stubborn rose, and the alpha chuckled at that, making him blush and almost cut his finger off with one of the pruning shears. Stupid attractive alpha, why did he have to do him dirty when he’s trying to look professional?
When he was done he looked at the little composition in his hands and smiled, it looked pretty, it was definitely one of his best jobs.
“Here, what do you think?” He looked up at the other, his wide and gummy smile on full display, as he shifted the bouquet around to show the end result to the alpha, who smiled widely and boxy, his eyes thinning into little slits, completely shattering Yoongi’s hopes of not blushing again in front of the beautiful male. If nothing, he had probably spent most of this encounter red faced, he could feel the tip of his ears warm up and he knew the other might have noticed. It’s add him feel a little ashamed, but there was nothing he could about it now.
“It looks amazing! I knew you would pull out something amazing!.” He praised him, taking the small bouquet from his hands, and stroking the cute pink ribbon he had tied in the front. The florist couldn’t help but lower his gaze, trying to hide his eyes with hid blonde fringe. He didn’t do well with compliments, and would always get shy whenever someone tried to praise him.
“My hyung was right suggesting me to come here, he told me this was the better flower shop in town, and I have to give him credit, because he was right. This is truly amazing” he admitted, his deep voice making Yoongi feel things, he sounded so fond as he spoke of his brother, that Yoongi felt a small, unmotivated twinge of envy. He wished he had someone speak that way of him, with sparkly eyes, and voice filled with emotion.
”Well, as long as your boyfriend loves it as much as you do. After all you can never go wrong with flowers”
“That’s what my hyung said! I’m sure he will, they’re truly beautiful. You’re an artist, and I have an eye for these things” The stranger smiled fondly, looking at the flowers in his hands.
“Oh…I-I do my best…it’s really nothing” he waved him off with his hands, his face heating up all the way to the tip of his years. He hated his pale complexion, it gave him away easily every time.
“You really don’t like to receive compliments huh?” He looked at him with soft eyes, and Yoongi wished he could melt into a puddle on the floor. “How much do I owe you?” The gorgeous man asked, pulling his wallet out of his pocket, and Yoongi got distracted as he noticed the veins on them. The male blinked at him when he didn’t answer, and Yoongi cleared his throat again, praying he didn’t notice him staring
“It will be 40,557 won”
The alpha handed him a 50,000 won bill, and Yoongi punched the numbers in his old style cash register, and handed the alpha his change along with his receipt.
The male looked at the receipt and smiled as he read the name of the store placed in the top of the little piece of paper.
“‘In Bloom’ a cute name for a cute flower shop”
“It used to be my halmeoni’s I just inherited it…I didn’t pick the name” he admitted gruffly, unsure of how to act when such a pretty man smiled at him in such an outrageously beautiful way. It was really unfair that he had to suffer through this whole interaction by himself.
“It’s still cute. I like it” he hummed softly looking around with an appreciative gaze.
“My hyung, told me his boyfriend works here. I was kind of hoping to catch a glimpse of him since he’s been so secretive about him. But I’m pretty sure he told me his boyfriend is an alpha”
He raised an eyebrow as he seemed to study the omega’s shocked face, and he almost seemed hopeful, which was ridiculous, because Yoongi was just…well Yoongi, there was no way he could ever be interested in him, and this gorgeous alpha already had a boyfriend.
“So you had a double scheme this whole time huh? And to think you looked so innocent” Yoongi crossed his arms as he looked at the man with a small smirk. He wasn’t sure where this confidence came from, because although he was tough and savage when he wanted to be, he was only like that with people he felt comfortable with, this alpha in front of him, although he was watching him with puppy eyes, was a perfect stranger, or at least, before he found out he was his brother’s boyfriend brother.
Yoongi raised his eyebrow at that and he looked at the man’s face again, that was unexpected, but it kinda made sense, He could totally see Jungkook plan something similar if the situation was reversed.
“No! I swear… I was just curious?”
The man, Namjoon’s brother, actually managed to look panicked.
“Huh uh” He hummed, not looking convinced, and the man’s cheek now stained a deep shade of red. It was funny how the tables had turned.
“Anyway, no, it’s not me. The person you’re looking for would be Jungkook, my younger brother” he explained, shifting his foot slightly frowning, his feline gaze set on the younger male, who looked mortified, and he felt bad seeing him acting so shyly, as if he was walking on eggshells, and attempted a small smile.
“Ah of course, that makes sense. I guess we’re almost kind of related then right? Nice to meet you, my name is Kim Taehyung, I’m Namjoon’s younger brother, but maybe you had figured that out already…”
He offered him his hand with a wide smile, and Yoongi couldn’t help staring at it for a while, until the other chuckled lightly angling his head to look at him from under his lashes.
Yoongi couldn’t help but chuckle in return shaking his head lightly. What could he do, his laugh was contagious and he was only a tiny, weak man. The situation was so ridiculous, it reminded him of one of those low budget K-dramas his friend Hosoek was into.
“Min Yoongi.”
“You’re an omega, right? I can’t tell from the smell, but you look…so soft, a real typical omega, with no offense of course.”
The florist gave him an empty stare. He had been told many times that he looked just like an omega because that just was the vibe he gave off. He had always hated it, from since he was a child, but now, he was kinda pleased that Taehyung could guess so easily.
“I…yeah I wear blockers. A lot of people come here during the day and Jungkook just feels better knowing I wear them” he was protective of him, and although Yoongi argued he could defend himself he had given in to the request when he noted that it gave peace of mind to his younger brother. It wasn’t that much of a sacrifice anyway.
It wasn’t like in the olden days where feral alphas would try and claim omegas, society had become more civilized, and those old instincts had seemed to be dying down, but omegas still liked to have the option of wearing blockers to feel safer in their workplace or school. All of Yoongi’s omega friends wore them, it was normal, and they had little to no side effects, so they were safe to use.
“I understand, it’s the same with me and Namjoon. Maybe I’m a little paranoid, as you can probably imagine, but I swear I’m not that bad usually… but you know”
And he was really cute as he raised one of his hands to scratch his head in bewilderment, and Yoongi knew, in that moment, that if he spent a little bit of time with Kim Taehyung, he would risk gaining a huge crush on the boy. He had just met him and he felt like he was already halfway there.
“Anyway, I really have to go, Hyunwoo will kill me if I’m late to his party. It was a pleasure to meet you Yoongi, hopefully we’ll meet again soon?” He gave him one last smile, and walked out the door just as quick as he had arrived he had disappeared, but not without sending him one last small wave from across the glass, and Yoongi couldn’t help but reciprocate, sending one of his own.
He stared at the glass for a while after Taehyung had left, as his brain tried to reconnect and he tried to make sense of what had exactly happened. Strong sandalwood was still lingering in the air, and Yoongi felt like melting at the strong scent that was adhering to every pore on his skin and in every fiber of fabric of his clothes, his head still feeling a little empty after the weird encounter.
Unsure of what to do with himself, and not understanding why he felt so giddy and weird, almost as if he was having an extra corporeal experience.
He decided that it was okay if he decided to close the shop a couple of minutes early, there was no way he would get customers at that time on such a shitty day, and he needed to go home and recover from whatever it was that had happened.
Maybe the heat was messing with him, or maybe it was the fact he hadn’t had a decent meal the whole day too lazy to walk down the road and grab food, but he really needed to get home and sleep off whatever it was that he was feeling, he hated feeling confused, and he could an itch under his skin that he couldn’t explain.
Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Chapter Text
Yoongi was so happy to finally close his apartment door behind him and be able to finally hop into his shower, and wash away the sweat and grime off of his body after walking into the inferno outside like one of those deranged individuals he had been judging and observing from the safety of his store for the whole day.
He did feel like a bit of a hypocrite when he had opted to walk home, instead than taking the bus like he usually did, but he had felt justified somehow, because he had needed to feel the hot air on his face, to clear his head and his nose, from the overwhelming smell of the gorgeous alpha that had infested his store for the remainder of the afternoon.
Taehyung had only stayed in the small shop for no more than fifteen minutes, and he had still managed to stink up the place, and Yoongi could swear he could still smell the heady sandalwood on his clothes and skin, masking the usual smell of fresh flowers that would cling to him after his work day.
The fresh flowers had apparently been powerless against the alpha’s natural scent, and he had, desperately resorted to ask one of his later customers if they could smell something other than the fresh smell of cut flowers.
One old lady, one of his regular customers, had looked at him with concerned eyes, and told him that maybe he needed to rest, because he must be imagining things, because all she could smell was the overwhelming sweet smell of the roses, that sat right next to the counter.
That was when he had realized that he might have a problem. He didn’t know what to do, and how to get rid of it. He had tried to spray air freshener to no avail, after his last customer walked out, but the scent still infested his nasal cavity, driving him insane, as well as making his omega feel on edge and restless.
He couldn’t blame it, it had been a while since he had had a partner, especially one that was an alpha with such an enticing smell. His last boyfriend had been a beta with a light, barely noticeable fresh cucumber scent. Nice and delicate, but it hadn’t left much of an impression, and Yoongi could barely recall the fragrance, let alone miss it. The guy had been a jerk, so that probably didn’t help to stimulate his memory.
He walked into his tiny bathroom, he was lucky he had his own little bathroom so that he could have more privacy, especially during his heats. Jungkook would stick around, not affected by his swirling hormones, and make sure he was hydrated and fed, but he would always firmly refuse to allow his younger brother to help bathe him.
The omega had felt his cheeks flush when he had noticed the faintest trace of slick in his dark boxers. He had blinked, and without giving it too much thought had slipped inside his shower, washing his body with a washcloth which he scrubbed against his skin rather aggressively, as if trying to wash away the sensations the weird encounter had caused within him. He felt unsettled, and he suddenly had the need to build a small nest and immerse himself in it and drown it with his strawberry scent, which was now roaming freely, free from the blockers which he had hurriedly peeled off. His omega was just as unsettled as he was, and he realized he was trembling when he walked out and reached for his towel, his knees shaking.
He groaned, shocked from his weird reaction, and decided to blame it on the heat and the stupid weather, and not on the gorgeous young man that had casually decided to ruin his day.
He walked into his living room, his blonde hair wet, small droplets of water splashing on his bare shoulders and some on his tiled floor, but he couldn’t be bothered to clean it up, and looked at his couch, his omega was stirring, making him feel unsettled and spring into action.
He hurriedly rushed into his room, and collected some of his clothes, his duvet and pillows and threw them on the floor in front of the couch. He arranged them in a circular way, placing the duvet on the bottom so that he could be comfy. He weaved the other items around it, some pillows, mixed with some of his softest sweaters, and shirts. He also went into Jungkook’s room, and grabbed some of his dirty clothes which were rich of the alpha’s rich leathery scent. He always found comfort in his brother’s scent, and he would always ask him to scent him when he felt the way he did now, shaken, overwhelmed and overall sad.
He wasn’t even sure why he felt the way he did all of a sudden. He had been fine all day, going through his routine, which was a must considering his slight OCD. It was fine, he had learnt to live with it, he had his little rituals he had to do every day and he allowed himself the extra time just in case he had a severe episode. It happened rarely but it did.
He would never walk out the door if he didn’t wash his hands at least 3 times, and he had to check that all the lights around the house were all switched off at least twice before convincing himself to get out the door, along with other little things he did to try and maintain his sanity.
This was really just another reason why his relationships didn’t last. No one really wanted to put up with him and his “weird habits” like his last boyfriend had called them when he had decided to break up with him, after Yoongi had a bad episode and one of his rituals had taken longer than usual due to his OCD mixing with his anxiety, which caused them to arrive late to a work related event that had apparently been very important for his boyfriend who was trying to get in his boss good graces and get a promotion he had been aiming for for months.
He could still remember the hurtful words, spoken more out of anger and bitterness for a missed occasion than out of spite towards Yoongi. He knew this, but still it hurt when he thought about the man’s twisted expression and harsh tone, as he served him with a list of reason of why he was the worst. It had made him make the final decision that maybe he didn’t need a man in his life. He didn’t want to go through the heartbreak anymore. He already didn’t know how to deal with his emotions when he was on his own, it only became more complicated for him when he added a second person to the mix.
Feelings weren’t something that came easily to him. The omega had been hurt too many times, had spent too many nights with his depressing thoughts, wetting his pillow with secret tears shed in the privacy of his own room, away from prying eyes, where nothing could touch him. Afraid that his fears would become reality, and he would have to spend the rest of his life in solitude. He would turn out just like that great aunt his parents always talked about when he was growing up, that had become so bitter after spending a lifetime alone, that no one liked visiting her anymore. She would never smile and always had a harsh word for everyone, envious of their happiness. He could see himself getting there, he was already grumpy and quiet enough that he might just need a few more years to reach his peak. That was an enthusing thought, maybe he could just drop dead tomorrow and just forget about his depressing life.
He circled his nest two times with a loud sigh, his intrusive thoughts weren’t giving him a break, he adjusted and plucked things here and there, making sure it was perfect before lying in the middle, grabbing one of the pillows, wrapping his legs around it, and pulling towards himself as he cuddled with it, he had just settled, finally relaxing into the comfort of his bundle of blankets when he heard someone knock at his door.
He groaned, he had just got himself comfortable, he really didn’t feel like getting up again.
He looked up a little worried, when he heard the sound of the key turning in the door, and for a second looked up to look at the time, Jungkook had told him he wasn’t coming home, so it couldn’t be his brother.
“Kook?” He called out anyway, maybe he was coming home to change or something before his date with his omega boyfriend.
“Hyung? Why does it smell so sad in here? Have you had a bad day?”
To his surprise it wasn’t Jungkook’s voice who answered, but Hoseok’s who walked in his home as if he owned it, followed by Yijeong, who was carrying a bag of take out food, and from what he could see, it was from his favorite restaurant.
His expression lit up at seeing his two best friends stand so casually in his small living room.
The beta wiggled the bag in his hands, his cheeky smile stretching on his lips.
“Yah, Yoongi-yah! What is this depressed set up! We’re here to turn your night around!”
He grinned happily, kicking off his shoes and dropping on the opposite side of where the omega was lying down in Yoongi’s nest, making himself comfortable.
“This is the stuff! How do you manage to make your nests so cozy I could literally live in here”
The beta unceremoniously laid down humming in pleasure at the soft blankets.
“You traitor! You’re making me do all the work!” The other omega complained, although a smile was present on his lips, reassuring the others that he wasn’t mad.
He handed them a couple of paper plates, that he had retrieved for the pantry, along with a couple of beers and a bottle of soju, that he settled on the outside of the nest, before making himself comfortable sitting up next to Yoongi. The omega just sniffled, as he cozied up next to his fellow omega, seeking out his warmth.
Omegas were known to like to cuddle together especially when they were distressed. Reason why Yijeong had let the empty space near Yoongi for Hoseok. He was a beta, and his subtle fresh lemony scent could offer some comfort but not as much as Hoseok’s warm caramel one.
“So, what’s gotten you in the dumps?” Hoseok asked as he munched on some tteokbokki, it was still scalding hot, and he hissed in pain as it burnt his tongue.
“That’s what you get for being impatient” Yijeong scolded with a lazy smile, as he made a scene of blowing onto his skewer exaggeratedly loud.
Hoseok frowned, choosing to ignore his friend, focusing on Yoongi, who had been observing them quietly, but hadn’t reached for any of the food splayed out in front of him like a small feast. He had been a little concerned when he had smelt the distressed strawberry scent as soon as he had walked into the tiny apartment.
“Hey, you alright Yoon?” He asked again, this time more seriously, as he felt the beta observe them quietly, he could probably smell the distress as well, but it didn’t unsettle him as it did for Hoseok, although he was still worried for his friend.
“I’m fine” He admitted with a soft sigh, tilting his side to the side, to lean against his omega friend who welcomed him immediately, enveloping his arms around him, as they did when they were younger, and needed comfort.
“Awww Yoonie, you know you can tell us everything, no need to pretend with us. You know we can see right through you”
Yoongi sighed again as he finally decided to reach for one piece of fried chicken. His friends had truly brought a feast, as well as some bottles of soju which were laying by the side of the small nest.
“Nothing really happened to get me into this mood, I guess it’s just the idea that soon I’ll have to disappoint my mother again, for the…how many times is it now?”
He asked with a light laugh, which sounded more san than amused, ignoring the worried glance his friends shared between each other. They knew about his upcoming family event, had even volunteered to go with him to it and help him endure his mother trying to set him up with any available alpha.
It was probably better to lie, than to admit that meeting Namjoon’s brother had left him with the weirdest nostalgic feeling, making him feel more depressed than usual. He knew they would be worried, and he’d rather them worrying about something silly like his mother’s whims than his own pathetic feelings.
“Yoonie…you know your mother loves you, she just wants the best for you” Hoseok started to say as he leaned into his friend, cuddling him closer, wrapping his arm around the blonde’s shoulders pulling him towards his body and tangling himself around him like a small octopus.
The omega was always very sensitive to Yoongi’s moods, and would usually cuddle him way too tight whenever he was in a slump. He knew Hobi was a physical person, but he still was kinda fond of breathing.
“I think she puts too much pressure on you” Yijeong spoke, ignoring the brown haired omega’s angry stare, and Yoongi rolled his eyes, and let out a small huff from his pouty lips, aware that his friends never saw eye to eye when it came to the delicate subject of Yoongi’s mom. Maybe it wasn’t the brightest idea, but it would keep them occupied for a bit.
“Don’t listen to him…he doesn’t know what it means to be an omega, and what it means to grow up with the preconceived notions that we are forced to endure. I understand you think your mother is being a little pushy in her affections, but Yoongs, you have to understand that she is just looking out for you”
Yoongi lowered his gaze, staring at his toes. They were just as pale and bony as the rest of him. No wonder no alpha found him attractive, he was literally skin and bones, he remembered all the time his mother would take him to buy him clothes and would fuss over his slender figure. Now that he had lived away from her for a few years, he could see why his friends thought she was controlling, the most vocal one, was definitely Yijeong, who had never hidden his displeasure for her ways, while Hoseok, was more understanding and encouraging.
“So we just allow her to push our Yoonie into the arms of any sentient alpha, as long as they can provide for him, conveniently forgetting that Yoongi is an independent omega that is taking care of his own business and his little brother, who, must I remind you, chose to live with him to get away from her suffocating claws”
“Yijeong!”
“What? I don’t see her pushing Jungkook to get mated”
Hoseok looked at him with the most outraged look as he threw one of Yoongi’s couch pillows to the beta’s face, who wasn’t expecting it, made a gasping noise as he was hit fully in the face.
“Hey!” He shrieked as he raised his hands to protect himself, realizing the omega was harmed with others around him ready to throw at the first chance he got
“I am not afraid to use them” he threatened and the beta gulped loudly, swinging his arms in defeat, although that wouldn’t be enough to shut his tongue off.
“I didn’t even say anything, you brute!”
“You know what you did!”
“I’m just pointing out facts! Stop it with the damn pillows!”
Yoongi’s loud burst of laughter broke the fake tension between the two. He was used to their banter, and he was so glad they had invited themselves over, he was lucky to have them by his side, he had almost forgot the reason why he had been so sad.
“It’s okay, my mother knows I’m not bringing anyone, she doesn’t even call to check anymore and I’m sure she’ll have some alpha ready for me to meet at the party”
He knew the drill by now, and he was resigned to it. He leaned his head on his knees with a soft sigh, ignoring his friend’s concerned glances. He hated feeling their pity, and the fact that his mother kept pushing him to find a mate, made him feel inadequate, like something was wrong with him for not being able to find someone by that point in his life.
Yijeong frowned at his words, not at all happy to see one of his best friends in the world so demoralized.
“Maybe I could pretend to be your boyfriend, just to shut that old hag up!”
He smirked at his words, lifting his chin with a hint of pride, before getting whacked in the head by an exasperated Hoseok.
“First she would never buy it, and second, watch your mouth you brat!” The brown haired omega cautioned lifting his other hand as if to try and hit the other again.
“Bring it on little omega, you don’t scare me!” Yijeong taunted the other with a sly grin on his face, while Yoongi could just watch the two fight in amused resignation. They had always been like that, they weren’t going to change now.
“Yoongles, you didn’t even touch the chicken, you should eat, before Yijeong devours it all!” Hoseok turned to him in concern, He would make an incredible mother one day, the way he always fussed over Yoongi, the older omega mused. He didn’t have the same maternal instinct, as they called it, that all omegas had. He was more reserved in the way he cared for his friends and brother, although Jungkook would always quietly appreciate the way he cared for him, and was always quite vocal about how he was able to give him comfort more than their own mother ever could. Not that she didn’t shower them with affection, she loved both of them dearly, but it was always loud, and not the sort of quiet affection that Yoongi was capable to give, even if it was just a little gesture, or quiet nod.
“I’m not that hungry, leave my portion for Kookie, I’m sure he will look for some food when he gets home”
“Like he needs it. Last time I saw him he looked like he could bench press the three of us in one go if he wanted to. His biceps look humongous!” Yijeong shook his head thinking of his much the younger alpha had grown in such a short amount of time.
“That’s why he’s always hungry! He has to feed those monster muscles of his” Hoseok chuckled as he was reminded of the young alpha’s strength, last time he had seen him he had pulled the smaller man into a bone crushing hug, not aware of how strong he was.
“Yeah my arms look like noodles compared to his” The beta lifted one of his skinny arms, a stark contrast to the younger alpha’s muscular ones.
Yoongi giggled as he glanced at his friend’s little chicken arms with a mix of teasing and affection.
The room fell into a calm hush as the three friends settled, the earlier chatter fading into a more comfortable silence. The older omega felt a quiet relief having his friends by his side, their presence gently lifting him out of the slump he had been stuck in.
“Hyung! I can’t believe I almost forgot! Those roots of yours are screaming for help, and I brought just the right thing to help with that!”
Hoseok leaned over the edge of the nest, showing a bag full of bleaching products and other stuff.
Yijeong frowned “You trying to make him more appealing for the alpha his mother is going to pick this time?”
The older omega just released a soft sigh, already feeling tired and worn out, and the party was in two days. In all honesty he was hoping some catastrophic event would happen so that he had an excuse to stay home.
“I can’t believe I have to go to this thing, my mom will parade me around like I’m some eligible bachelor!” He whined into his hands, already exhausted.
Hoseok snorted from where he was sitting cross-legged on the nest.
“But you are eligible! Minus the roots, we should fix those, hyung”
Yijoeng looked up from his bag of chips with a snort.
“Right, because hair is what’s standing between him and true love”
The older omega groaned
“ Last time she tried to set me up, she sent me to a coffee with a guy who talked about stocks for two hours. I nearly cried into my iced americano, which would have totally ruined it”
“Tragic” Yijeong didn’t even raise his face from his bag of chips.
The younger omega stood up, ready to get to business, brushing invisible lints off his shorts, as he pointed at the other with his index finger
“Okay, root rescue mission, then skincare. If you’re gonna suffer, you might as well be glowing”
The older omega sat up from his position slouched on the edge of the nest, he didn’t complain when Hoseok dragged him to his bathroom sitting him down on the chair in front of his mirror, as he heard background noises of the beta raiding his kitchen. Damn, Yijeong did move quickly when he was famished.
The younger omega patted his shoulders in a comforting soothing way, before starting to pin his longer strands back, and separating the various layers.
“You know she’s gonna bring someone again, right?”
“My money’s on another lawyer, or that guy from the spa who called you “delicately built”, the pervert”
The beta chimed in from the kitchen, voice echoing around a mouthful of whatever food he had put his grasp on, obviously not losing a beat of the conversation.
Yoongi groaned, pressing the heel of his palm to his free forehead.
“God, one time I told her I felt lonely and now she thinks I’m about to die alone”
Hoseok grinned at him through the mirror
“You are approaching expired-in-mating years hyung”
“Jeez, thanks for the reminder” It didn’t matter that Yoongi was only 27.
Hoseok noticed Yoongi’s disgruntled expression and nudged him on there shoulder, as Yijeong trudged through the hallway with one of his kitchen chairs, and sitting down in front of the open door, staring at them with a critical look
“Okay hyung, let me do my magic! Your roots are definitely not ready for emotional chaos, but I’ll fix them for you, hyung! You’ll look great!:
The older omega chuckled, but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“Yeah, let’s get it over with”
