Chapter Text

~Chapter 1~

-Naruto's POV-

The sound of the bell woke Naruto up. He looked at the clock and realized it's lunch. He streched, yawned and cracked his knucles. 

"You finally awake, sleeping beauty?" His deskmake and best friend, Sasuke, whispered into his ear. Naruto blushed a little. He might have a teeny-tiny crush on him, but he's happy by just staying by his side.

"No~ I wanna sleep some more." Naruto said, his voice sounded a little sleepy.

"Wakey wakey~" Kida yelled.

"Quite down you loud fuck!" Naruto responded, irritated. All his peace vanished.

"Hah! You're calling me loud? You're literally the loudest one here!"

"Oh really paw patrol?"

"Paw patrol??" Kida said confused, "Did you ju- What the fuck?"

"These dumbasses" Shikamaru said as Naruto and Kiba bickered. Meanwhile Sai pulled out his sketchbook and started to draw the two of them fighting. 

"Why are you drawing them?" Suigetsu asked.

"For educational purposes." Sai replied.

"Right..." Suigetsu said sarcastically. Sasuke sighed. 

"How long are you guys going to fight? Lunch will get over at this point."

"Fine," Naruto said, getting up, "let's go."

~Time skip to cafeteria~

The six of them sat together at the cafeteria, eating and minding their own businesses when the football team players came. There was this one guy in particular, his name was Nendo (A/N: Can't think of a better name lmao) and he was so fucking annoying. He pushed Naruto, who was sitting next to Sasuke, and sat there. 

"Hey-" Naruto started but he was cut off by Nendo.

"I can sit wherever the fuck I want, you pussy. It was your fault that you got pushed" (A/N: what kind of logic is this honestly). Naruto was going to say something but Sasuke got to it first.

"Apologize." Naruto blushed a little. Sasuke was standing up for him! But it wasn't the time to be celebrating, things might start to escelate. 

"Hah! Naruto, you should be grateful that you have such a caring boyfirend like Sasuke! But you should refrain from being so close in public, or else your reputation will go down the drain." Nendo teased.

"And what about it? What does me having a good boyfriend got to do with you? Sounds like jealousy to me." Naruto said smirking. The cafeteria was in chaos, many people were 'OHH'-ing, some whispering and some laughing. Sasuke chuckled. He was proud of Naruto. It had been a while since Naruto made a sassy or feirsty comeback.

"I won't forget this, Naruto!" Nendo walked away with his cheeks red, his dumb lackeys behind him.

"Looking at his face, maybe he his is jealous." Shikamaru said. Sasuke gagged. Suigetsu snickered.

"But hey it's been a while since Naruto did anything...like you, mischievious.." Kida said, "Is something up?"

"Huh? Nope, everything is fine." He lied. He could barely pay the bill this month and he needs more money but he doesn't want to ask for help from his godfather. Speaking about him, he hasn't seen that old perv in two months which concerned him.

Shikamaru side-eyed Naruto but he ignored it.

"Lunch is almost over, we should head back to class." Suigetsu said. The gang got up and left for class.

~The next day~

"Omg girl did you hear?" Random kid in the hallway #1 said.

"No girl I didn't, spill!" Random kid in the hallway #2 said.

"Sasuke is dating someone, again!"

"Omg who is it this time?"

"Huh?" Naruto yelped. He's dating someone again? he thought. Naruto felt sad and annoyed, like how many girls is Sasuke going to date? 

After he entered the class, we saw Sasuke sitting and smilling at his phone.  Naruto's heart sinked, he wanted to run away but his legs moved forward. He took a deep breathe and said, "Hey"

"Oh, hey" Sasuke replied as he got up from is place so that Naruto can go inside. "You're a little late today"

"Oh, I overslept." Naruto couldn't say that he was taking an extra shift so he came home late.

"I see." Sasuke was still looking at his phone. Naruto sighed. He tried to sneak a look of Sasuke's phone but couldn't.

"Watcha doing?" He asked, curious.

"Nothing," Sasuke replied, "just texting."

"Another girlfriend?" Naruto asked jokingly.

"Yep." Sasuke said casually. Naruto's heart officially broke. This happenes everytime when Sasuke dates a girl. Naruto hates it so much, but he always kept it in, staying by his side was enough, but it still hurt like shit.

hiding his emotions and feelings from someone is Naruto's speciality. He put on a smile and asked, "Damn, who's the lucky girl."

"Do you Akko from class 2-C?" The drop-dead gorgous girl with hip-length straight black hair, an hourglass figure and pale skin that every guy has a crush on? Yes. Now that Naruto thought about it, it was about time they started dating.

"Dude, you hit the jackpot. Congrats." Naruto said half-heartedly.

"Hn."

~Time skip to lunch~

Naruto got up as soon as the bell rang. Kiba and Shikamaru made their way to Naruto's place.

"Looks like someone's excited for lunch huh?" Kiba said.

"Sorry I can't accomany you guys for lunch today, I have plans with someone else today." Naruto announced. Sasuke side-eyed him.

"And who might that be?" Sasuke asked, he couldn't imagine Naruto hanging out with someone else other than the gang.

"Ooooh, a girlfriend perhaps?" Suigetsu, who had overheard the conversation, asked.

"Something like that I guess?" Naruto said, it wasn't a girlfriend, it was a girl friend. Naruto called all his female friends girl friend. Everyone gasped.

"Ayo, Naruto has bitches??" Kiba asked surprised. Naruto scoffed. He didn't like it when people refered to girls as 'bitches' or 'chicks'. They're human, not birds or animals, and they shouldn't be refered to like that.

"So, you really have a girlfriend?" Sasuke asked. His mind couldn't accept the fact that Naruto was dating someone. He should be happy that his friend finally found someone, but why did his heart sink?

"No, she's my girl friend." Naruto said.

"What's the difference?"

"The space between girl and friend, that's called the friendzone. Anyway, I'll see you after lunch, bye." Everyone stood  there, watching Naruto go.

"Naruto hangs out with girls?" Sasuke asked surprised.

"Yeah, he's pretty popular among girls actually." Kiba responded.

~Time skip to Naruto reaching class 2-C~

"Hello," Naruto asked politely to the girl standing next to the door, "Is Ino there in class?" The girl blushed a little.

"O-oh, yes. She's here. Ino-san! Someone's her to see you!" 

"Thank you" Naruto said, the girl blushed even harder. Ino had come over by then. Naruto pulled her out of the class. 

"Naruto what-" Ino got cut off by Naruto.

"Ino code red! This an emregancy!"

"What happened??"

"Sasuke is dating someone!"

"Again?" Ino sighed. She was the only person who knew about Naruto's crush(and is proud about the fact) and ever since then he's been nagging about his one-sided crush. He always ends up breaking his heart everytime Sasuke gets a new girlfriend.

"Yes. So this time I've decided to do something about it."

"Like tell him how you feel and start dating him?" Ino asked excited.

"No, like ignoring him for a while and stop having feelings for him!"

"Oh god, can you really do that?"

"Ofcourse I can!"

"You guys are in the same class and you sit together with him."

"That's why I need your help!" Naruto maked cute puppy eyes. Ino sighed.

"Fine." 

"Yes!" Naruto said "What could possiblily go wrong?"

Everything went wrong...

~Chapter 2~

-Naruto's POV-

"So, who's he dating this time?" Ino asked

"Your classmate, Akko." Ino rolled her eyes and sighed.

"She sure looked giddy in the morning, it was lowkey annoying."

"But we don't concer ourselves with Sasuke." Naruto said. He was trying his best to not think about him.

"Yeah~" Ino said unethusiastically. "But hey, now that I think about it, it's about damn time they started dat-"

"Ino" Naruto sounded tired.

"Oh, right, sorry. Heh." Ino said akwardly. 

"Hey," Sasuke greeted. Naruto flinched, he did not expect Sasuke to come. He turned around and saw Sasuke standing next to a pretty girl. 'That must be Akko,' Naruto thought.

"Oh, hey Sasuke, didn't expect to see you here."

"Well, you are my friend, so I have to introduce my girlfriend to you." Naruto sighed. Ino made eye contact with Naruto to make sure he was alright. Naruto smiled, a fake one ofcourse.

"Hello, my name is Uzumaki Naruto. Nice to meet you."

"Hello, I'm Honda Akko, nice to meet you too, Uzumaki-san." Akko said.

"Hey Akko-chan," Ino said.

"Ino-chan! It's been a while since we've spoked even though we're in the same class!"

"Haha," Ino chuckled awkwardly.

"I hope we're not interuppting something," Akko said, looking at Naruto and then at Ino.

"Oh, don't worry, we weren't doing anything really." Naruto said.

"Well then, I'll see you at class," Sasuke said. Naruto smiled and waved at Sasuke as he walked away with Akko.

-Time skip to the end of school-

-Third Person POV-

"I hope I'm not intruding," Akko said. She was invited to join Sasuke and his friends on their way home. 

"Not at all," Suigetsu said, "we're glad to have you here."

"Thank you"

"Where's Naruto?" Sasuke asked.

"Oh, he said he's going home with Ino." Kiba said.

"They seem close." Akko said. Everyone looked at her.

"I-uh-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to tell that aloud. That must've been rude of me. I'm sorry."

"Tis fine. But you're not wrong. They are pretty close, sometimes even I wonder if they're dating-" Suigetsu said, but he got interrupted by Sasuke and Kiba.

"They're not dating," they said together in sync.

"If they were, Naruto would definately tell me." Sasuke said confidently.

"And besides, I get the feeling that Ino is you know," Kiba said.

"You know what?" Shikamaru asked, squinting his eyes at Kiba. Kiba murmered something which was inaudible.

"Huh?"  Everyone said.

"Lsebxcn" They still couldn't hear him.

"Lesbian!" Kiba yelled.

"Woah there, calm down." Suigetsu said. "That's kinda a rude thing to say, like how can you be so sure?"

"And Ino would kill you if she found out that 

"I've known her for years man, and I'm sure of it. My hunch is never wrong!"

"Your hunch is never wrong?Like that one time your hunch got us lost in the forest for two days?"  Shikamaru scoffed.

"Yeah, and by the way, I still haven't forgiven you bro," Suigetsu said, "It was my first day here, and I got lost in the woods man."

"Hey, it wasn't my-"

"Guys, let's change the topic shall we?" Sasuke said.

"Tch" Kiba said, "When she comes out, y'all gonna remember my words."

"Sure~" Shikamaru rolled his eyes.

"I need to meet up with a friend right now so I'll be taking the next left." Akko said.

"Do you want me to come with?" Sasuke asked.

"Oh, no. It's fine." Akko smiled.

"Kay then, take care." Sasuke said.

"Then I'll see you tomorrow, bye!" Akko waved at the gang. They waved back.

"I feel like I forgot something." Kiba said.

"Your brain maybe." Shikamaru offered. Kiba ignored him.

"I mean, if you forgot about it, then it probably isn't important." Suigetsu said.

"Probably." Kiba agreed.

"Probably?!" Someone yelled from behind. The gang turned around and say a boy around their age bending down and panting. The boy got up and they could see his face, well a part of it. He was wearing a grey cardigan and sunglasses.

"Shino!" Kiba said. 

"You guys always forget about me!" Shino yelled.

"Hehe," Kiba chucked awkwardly, "I'm sorry man."

"Sorry my ass" Shino pounced at Kiba and started to fight. The others were unbothered.

"It's been a while since we hung out at someone's house, you know, like a sleepover." Suigestsu said.

"Now that I think about it, you're right, it has been a while." Shikamaru said.

"Wanna have a sleepover at my place this friday?" Sasuke asked.

"Sure." Shikamaru, Sai and Suigetsu said together in sync.

"I'll text Naruto." Sasuke said.

-Naruto POV-

Naruto's phone viberated as he was wearing his apron. He saw a message from Sasuke.

You have 3 new messages from 'Teme'

Teme

Hey

Up for a sleepover at my house on friday?

Everyone else is coming

Naruto blushed. Sasuke is inviting him to his house, to sleep!

"Naruto! Where are you? We need you at the counter!" His boss yelled.

"I'm coming!" Naruto said.

-Time skip to the end of Naruto's shift-

Naruto stood infront of Ino's house. He rang the doorbell. Ino's mother answered.

"Oh my! Well, if it isn't mydear boy Naruto!" She exclaimed.

"Hello Auntie, it's been a while." Naruto greeted her.

"Oh it certainly has!" She said, "Why don't you come inside. Ino is in her room upstairs."

"Thank you. Oh, and I got something for you." Naruto gave her a box which had cheese cake inside.

"Oh dear, you didn't have to get this."

"It's alright." Naruto said as he made his way to Ino's room.

"Ino~" Naruto yelled. Ino fell off her bed.

"The fuck Naruto?" Ino asked. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm just here to see my bestie!" Naruto responded.

"What do you want from me?" Ino asked.

"Nothing~" Naruto said, "But~"

"But~?" Ino asked. "Is it about Sasuke?". Naruto nodded. Ino rolled her eyes.

"What happened to the 'I'm going to ignore Sasuke and get over him?' mission of yours?"

"Ino, listen. Sasuke invited me to his house." Naruto sat on Ino's bed.

"Oh really?" Ino said, uninterested.

"For a sleepover on friday"

"Damn."

"Don't you get it Ino?"

"Get what?" Ino said, scrolling through her phone.

"Usually people call you up to inform you about this stuff, but Sasuke texted me, knowing that it's my working hours!"

"You're delusional."

"Let me be delusional."

Ino sighed. "When was it again?"

"Friday."

"Don't you have an extra shift on friday?" Reality dawned over Naruto.

"I guess I can't go."

"You can, but you'll be a little late, that's all."

"But I am trying to get over him, so I should probably use this as an excuse and say I can't come."

"Sure I guess." 

Naruto texted Sasuke.

I don't think I can make it on time

"I texted him" Naruto said. 

"Slay" Ino said. Ino's mother entered the room holding two plates in her hand.

"Here you go,  have some cake kids." she said.

"We had cake at home?" Ino asked surprised. Naruto took the plates from Ino's mother's hand.

"No, Naruto bought it for us, you should thank him." She said.

"Oh Naruto, my pookie wookie, thank you!" Ino pinched Naruto's cheek.

"Ouch!" Naruto yelped. "So, how's stuff with Sakura?"

"What about Sakura?" Ino asked.

"You know, like how's the flirting going?"

"Don't even get me started!"Ino yelled. "I keep throwing  hints at her and she just ignores me every. single. fucking. time."

"But I thought you guys liked each other?" 

"I thought so too, until Karin came in. Ever since Sakura and Karin have been hanging out together, she's been fawning over Sasuke like he's some fucking god." Ino said, irritated.

"Cake?" Naruto offered. Ino took the cake and munched on it angeryly.

"So, whatcha going to do?"

"Ignore her back, and find someone else." Ino said.

"Oh, it's raining." Naruto said. Ino looked at the window.

"Wanna stay over?" Ino asked.

"Is that okay?" 

"My mom would be more than happy to have you stay over." she said. "I'll just go and tell her."

"Kay." Naruto's phone viberated. Sasuke messaged him

You have 3 new messages from 'Teme'

Teme

That's fine

It's okay if you come late

Just come

"Ino~!" Naruto yelled. Ino hit her leg becouse of her side table.

"Oww! What is it this time!" Ino yelled. Naruto handed his phone over to her. Ino read the messages.

"How can I not go if he said this?"

"Aren't you supposed to ignore him?"

"How can I ignore him if he's so fucking hansome and if he talks like this?" Naruto kicked his feet and rolled around on the bed.

Uchiha Sasuke, Ino thought, you are going to be the death of me.

~Chapter 3~

-Naruto POV-

Naruto sighed as he wiped the table. Today's the day he was supposed to go to Sasuke's house and stay over. He really wanted to go, but his extra shift and his mission to get over him won't let him. Like, sleeping in the same room as him? NO WAY. Naruto wouldn't be able to sleep a wink. 

"You look worried," Naruto's colleague, Tenten pointed out.

"Do I?" Naruto tried to feign ignorance, but Tenten didn't let go.

"You know you can share stuff with me, didn't you say I'm like your older sister?"

"I know, but it's nothing serious."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure"

"Kay then" Tenten got back to work. Not only is she Naruto's colleague, she's also his senior at school and she's like a big sister to him, but we wasn't ready to come out to her. After wiping the table, Naruto went back to the counter. The bell chimed, two girls entered the shop.

"Good evening, what can I get for you?" Naruto asked. As he looked at his coustumors, he realized one of them was Sasuke's girlfriend, Akko.

"Oh my, it's quite a surprise to see you here, Uzumaki-san," Akko exclained. Naruto forced a smile. He couldn't believe she was here. She was the last person he wanted to see right now. He took deep breathes. 'You can do this, Naruto.'

"So, what can I get for you?"

"Hmmm." Akko was in deep thought as she was looking at the menu.

"Can I get today's ice cream sundae special?" She asked.

"Ooh, I want that too!" her friend chimed.

"Two ice cream sudae specials coming up!" Naruto tried to sound enthusiastic. Tenten, who heard the order from the back, showed a thumbs up, indicating that she got the order. The two girls walked away and took a seat which was close to the counter.

"Akko-chan, how do you knoww that guy?" Her friend asked, eyes sparkling.

"You mean Uzumaki-san? He's Sasuke-kun's friend."

"He's such a cutie! Is he seeing anyone?"

"I don't know, why don't you give it a try if you're interested?"

"Should I?" She asked, blushing and avoiding eye-contact. Akko shrugged. Naruto, who could here everything sighed. 'Not again' he thougt. He was so done with girls hitting on him.

"Naru-chan! Two ice cream sudae specials are ready!" Tenten said.

"Ne-san, can you give the order insted?" He asked. Tenten wrinkled her nose.

"Don't tell me they're hitting on you."  Naruto remained silent. Tenten sighed.

"Don't worry, Naru, I'll always have your back." She smiled. Naruto smiled back. He could always count on Tenten when he's having trouble at work. Tenten went to the table and gave their order.

"Two ice-cream sundae specials!"

"Thank you" Akko said.

"Um, where's the waiter that took our order?" Akko's friend asked. Tenten's smile twitched a little. 

"His shift got over so he's back in the kitchen." She lied.

"Oh" The girl sounded desappointed.

"Anything else?" 

"No, just bring the bill" the girl said, irritated. Tenten rolled her eyes internally. 'What a brat', she thought. After Tenten left, Akko spoke to her friend.

"Kyoko, just because Uzumaki-san didn't come, it doesnt mean you can be mean to the other waitress." Kyoko rolled her eyes.  

"Whatever." After eating, they went to pay the bill. Kyoko peaked into the kitchen in an attempt to look at Naruto one last time but Akko pulled her away. After they left, Naruto came out.

"Are they gone?" He asked.

"Finally." Tenten said. "Seemed like you knew one of them." Naruto rolled his eyes.

"Unfortunatly" he said, "One of them is Sasuke's girlfriend."

"Huuh, really? I don't remember her looking like either of them."

"She's the new one."

"Oh. What did I even expect? Don't tell me it was rude maroon head."

"No, it's the other one."

"Not gonna lie, she was pretty."

"Real pretty."

"Are you two gossiping without doing any work?" Their boss interrupted.

"Ah!" The two yelped in suprise. 'We're screwed' they thougt.

"Without me?!" Their boss yelled. The two sighed in relief. They forget their boss was a sucker for gossip.

"So, spill." The two explained the situation. 

"Interesting, but quick question, who is Sasuke again?"

"My friend." Naruto said.

"Best friend." Tenten corrected. "The handsome one with black hair that comes occasionally to our store to see Naruto."

"Oh! That young lad? I always thought he was Naruto's boyfriend."

"What?" Naruto blushed. "W-why would you think that boss?"

"Well, we always acted like one. H would pick you up and bring food and everything!"

"That's what friends do!"

"Well, my friends would never!" Naruto and his boss were bickering as Tenten sat and enjoyed the chaos.

"Well, looks like your shift is over." Naruto's boss pointed. "You can pack up and go now. Oh and don't forget to lock the shop!" 

"Yessir!" The two said and saluted to their boss. It was an inside joke between them. After packing up the two realized that it was raining. 

"Oh, it's raining." Tenten said. "Do you have your signature orange umbrella with you?" Tenten joked.

"Never leave the house without it." Naruto waved the umbrella.

"Okay then, I'll see you at school. Byeeeee"

"Byeeeeee" The two went their seperate ways. As Naruto walked, he looked at his phone. He recieved a message from Sasuke.

You have 2 new messages from 'Teme'

Teme

Hey

You coming?

Naruto stopped and sighed. He wanted to go but he also wanted to get over him. He deciced not to go. He was about to leave when he noticed a flash coming from his side. He turned on his phone's flashlight and saw a familliar pair of sunglasses.

"Shino? Is that you? Why are you here? Where's your umbrella? Come here quickly!" Shino waddled towards Naruto and his umbrella.

"Kiba forgot to pick me up, again." 

"Ofcourse he did." Naruto sighed. He didn't want to go, but he couldn't leave Shino here all alone in the rain, without an umbrella. 'Guess I am going after all.' He thought.

-Third Person POV-

"He left me on read." Sasuke sighed. Kiba took a peak from his right.

"Well, that's new. He never leaves anyone on read. Did something come up?"

"Don't make us worry even more." Shikamaru chimed in,

"Shikamaru's right, but Kiba's point makes sense too." Suigetsu added.

"We should probably wait for Naruto to text back. Doesn't he work at this time?" Sai asked.

"Yeah, I remember Naruto saying something about an extra shift." Sasuke said.

"There you go." Sai.

"Man, Sai always solves the problem." Kiba praised.

"Unlike a certain dog breathe." Shikamaru commented.

"I heard that!" Kiba yelled in response.

"But hey, I feel like I'm forgetting something." Kiba was lost in thought.

"Tis prolly not important." Suigetsu said.

"I guess." Kiba shrugged.

"Not important?" A new but familliar voice asked. Kiba turned around and saw Shino standing infront of the room, ready to tackle him. He jumped on top of Kiba and started wrestling him.

"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" Suigetsu cheered, chraving for the chaos(A/N: such a mood honeslty).

"Woah there Shino, calm down." Naruto said.

"Naruto?" Sasuke got up immidiately.

"Well well well, look who finally decided to show up." Suigetsu said.

"Hey!" Naruto chuckled. 'Boy, is this gonna be one hell of a night.'

~Chapter 4~

-Third Person POV-

"I thought you wouldn't come." Sasuke said, addressing the blond.

"I thought so too, but here I am. I couldn't just let Shino stand in the rain all alone, ya know."

"Is that you two are wet?" Suigetsu asked. Shikamaru was busy recording Shino tackle Kiba while Sai was drawing them...for educational purposes.

"No, that's a different story." Naruto tilted his head, chuckling nervously.

Naruto and Shino were walking togther on the sidewalk under on umbrella. Naruto could feel Shino sneaking glances and deciced to speak up.

"Wassup?"

"Well, i kinda realized you don't have an extra bag."

"And...?"

"That probably means you dont have extra clothes, which means you weren't planning to come, is that right?"

"...Well, I couldn't just leve you there." Shino chuckled. Naruto flinched, it was shocking that Shino let out a chuckle.

"You're a really kind person Naruto. You always made sure that I wasn't left out." Naruto smiled.

"I don't like leaving people out. Especially since I know the feeling-" Naruto was interruped by a cold splash of water. Turns out a car drove past them and they ended up drenched. The car stopped and a familliar figure came out. It was girl with choppy red hair and an ugly pair of crooked rectangular glasses.

"Well well well, if it isn't the infamous Uzumaki Naruto." Said the girl, Karin. She carried a smug look on her face, and was wearing a purple dress that exposed most of her legs. She placed her hand on her hip and smirked.

"I can't believe you got- Hey! Are you ignoring me right now?" Karin shrieked. Naruto and Shino walked passed her. They deemed that she was not worth listening.

"Come to school and you'll see!" She yelled at them.

"Wow" Kiba said, raising his eyebrows.

"Can't believe you two are related Naruto" Suigetsu said.

"We're distant relatives." Naruto replied, "You know, like the dintance between the Earth and the Sun type distant."

"That's really distant." Shikamaru added.

"Y'all hungry?" Sasuke asked.

"Are you gonna cook for us? OmG  oNi-ChAn~~~~~ I can't believe you-"

"I'm not cooking, but my brother and his friend are." Sasuke interrupted Suigetsu's delusions.

"Eh, same thing" Suigetsu shrugged it off.

"So, wanna head to the kitchen." Sasuke said as he got up, as if it was already decided that they were going to the kitchen. The others didn't complain and follwed Sasuke.

 Apon entering the kitchen, the group saw a man  silky black hair standing near the stove holding a pan, as if he was waiting for someone to pu the ingredients on it. Just on que, another man came running from outside the house and entered the kitchen. After seeing the new man, the  raven placed the pan on his sholder and the newcomer cracked an egg in the most dramatic way possible.

"Oh my god, why are you so dramatic?" Sasuke whined. The raven gasped.

"I-itachi, d-did your brother just call me dramatic?"

"I'm afraid so, Shisui" Itachi said.

"Hey Itachi" Everyone greeted in sync.

"No greetings for me huh?" Shisui asked.

"Why are you here anyway?" Sasuke ignored Shisui's question.

"Fine, I'll just leave since I'm not wanted." He said (A/N: y'all cut me some slack cuz i cant seem to remember his personality but pls,  trust on this one😭😭💀) "Oh, and your welcome for the food." Shisui left the kitchen.

"I should probably follow him" Itachi said with a smile as he left the room. Everyone was silent for a moment. Kiba deciced to break the silence.

"Well, that was weird."

"I sincerly apologize" Sasuke sighed.

"Meh, it's fine" Naruto said.

 "How about we forget about what happened and eat?" Shikamaru suggested. Everyone shrugged, which probably ment that they agreed. After eating they decided to watch a movie.

"So, which movie should we watch?" Sasuke asked.

"I heard there's this new movie on Netflix, I guess we can try that" Kiba shrugged.

"Sure, anyone else?" Sasuke asked no one else answered.

"I guess we're gonna watch that" Sasuke said, "What's the name of that movie again?"

"*insert a title fit for a horror movie*"(A/N: Haven't really turned on my creative mode so, ig yall can keep ur imaginations running wild 😵💫😵💫🫠🫠 also, comment a funny/silly title for a horror movie)

"Sounds like a horror movie" Shikamaru pointed.

"Duh, it's a sleepover, ofcourse its gonna be a horror movie" Suigetsu replied.

"Seriously?" Shikamaru asked.

"Why? Is baby pinapple head scared that he might piss him pants~~?" Kiba mocked Shikamaru.

"Oh, you're so on" Shikamaru said.

~~~Time skip to the end of the movie~~~

"Well, that wasn't scary at all!" Kiba said.

"Yeah, even a baby wouldn't be afraid of it" Suigetsu added.

"Well, Kiba picked it, so that's a given." Shikamaru commented, smirking. Both Kiba and Shikamaru started arguing.

"Well, that was a waste" Naruto said.

"Yeah, like a moving hand of dirt going around and killing people who see it? Please" Sasuke added. (A/N: only real ones will know the reference😌😌)

"At least we got to eat the snacks" Suigetsu said. Sai nodded, agreeing to him.

"It's getting late, we should probably go to bed..." Naruto said, yawning.

"I guess" They all got up and headed to Sasuke's room. Sasuke got extra quilts and soft matresses and Naruto and Kiba helped him lay it down on the ground. When it was time to choose a partner to sleep with, Naruto immideitly sat next to Kiba. 

"You're pairing up with Kiba?" Sasuke asked.

"Uh, yeah" Naruto averted his eyes away from Sasuke. Usually during sleepovers, Naruto and Sasuke pair up together and sleep on the same bed. Sasuke gave a pained expression and Naruto pretended to not notice. He felt guilty, but it had to be done, especially if he's trying to get over him.

"Good night guys" Suigetsu said.

"Good night" Everyone else replied.

~~~Time skip to 2 hrs laters ~~~

-Sasuke POV-

It was not a good night. Sasuke couldn't get a wink of sleep because flashbacks of the movie kept running through his mind. The end of them movie was quite...interesting. It basically tries to portray that the next victim of the muddy hand would be the viewer. 

Sasuke couldn't believe that he was letting this get into his head. Everthing that he could make out in the dark looked like the muddy hand. He did hear some rustling here and there but he deemed it to be the wind. 

He rolled around on his bed. Courtisy of everyone else in the room. Naruto decided to pair with Kiba and Suigetsu paired up with Sai. Sasuke would've felt better if someone was sleeping next to him. Someone with blond hair...

'No homo Sasuke' He cursed himself mentally (A/N: not happening sasugay). He got up from his bed and decided to go to the bathroom. It took a lot of courage to do that simple task. As he neared the bathroom, he say that the lights were switched on. Sasuke's hands trembled as he opened the door. Inside he saw Kiba and a scared Shikamaru holding the faucet. Shikamaru immedieatly spared water all over Sasuke. 

"The fuck man?" Sasuke asked.

"It's just Sasuke" Shikamaru sighed in relief. 

"Well, aren't you gonna apologize?"  

"Oops, sorry." Shikamaru smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry my ass." Sasuke said, looking at his wet T-shirt. "What're you to doing here anyway?"

"We couldn't get sleep" Kiba said.

"Yeah" Shikamaru seconded that.

"Is it because of the movie?" Sasuke asked. The other two nodded hestitantly.

"Ain't no way you got scared because of that  moive" Sasuke teased. Ain't no way he was gonna admit that he was scared because of that.

"Well then what're you doing here, O great lord of fearlessness?" Kiba raised a brow.

"To take a piss, duh" Lie. Suddenly, the three heard a small creak coming from the room.

"I wasn't the only one who heard that, right?" Shikamaru gulped.

"It was probably one of the guys turning around or something, you know, wooden flooring problems" Kiba suggested.

"Yeah, makes sense." Sasuke said. That probaby explaines the creaking and ruslting he heard before. It was probably Kiba and Shikamaru going to the bathroom. Hopefully. There was a small "krrrk" sound. A sound that comes from opening a sliding door.

"Uh, guys," Kiba asked "What was that?" 

"I don't-" Sasuke was intuppted by Shikamaru

"Someone's opening the door." 

"I'm sure it's one of the guys" Sasuke said. Then he felt a hand on his sholder.

"Who's hand is this this?" Sasuke asked.

"Mine" Said someone. The voice was very deep, and scary, like in those horror movies. Sasuke turned around with an annoyed expression. Who's this guy, he thought. The moment her turned around, the door opened fully and they finnaly say the man's face. It was pale with pitchblack eyes, like a ghost.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The three yelled like bashees. Sasuke jumped. Behind the ghost, there was another person, who's face was covered by silky black hair, holding a candle infront of his not so visible face.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" They yelled again. By then, the lights were turned on and everyone woke up.

"What's going- OH MY GOD" Naruto yelped in surprise.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" The ghost started laughing. He removed his face, or mask, and revealed his true identity.

"Shisui?!" Sasuke yelled.

"Oh my god, Sasuke. Your reaction was so dRaMaTiC" Shisui commented.

"Did you do all of this for something I said?" Sasuke was shocked. He never knew someone could be so petty.

"Dude, Shikamaru's slacker what a drag heart couldn't handle your prank!" Kiba yelled. He's gonna go into cardiac arrest!" 

Shikamaru was pale, indeed his "slacker what a drag" heart couldn't handle it. 

"He's DYING!" Naruto yelled. 

"Y'all woke me up for this?" Suigetsu asked, pissed. Shino, who was wearing an eye mask, bumped into Suigetsu.

"The hell?" He asked.

"I can't see" Shino said.

"Then remove the goddamn eye mask.

"I'm not dying!" Shikamaru managed to say. He got up and glared at Shisui and Itachi.

"Nii-san, you were part of this too?"  Sasuke asked Itachi, who was casuallu blowing out the candle. He just shrugged. 

"Sounded fun" Itachi smiled. 

"Tch" Sasuke said.

"I'm going back to bed" Suigetsu declared, as he jumped on the matress next to Sai, who was unfazed by the situation, as usual.

"I call dibs on the single bed" Declared Shikamaru, who seemed to have recovered from his almost cardiac arrest. Kiba went and slept next to Shino.

"Oh, so now you remember me?" Shino asked.

"Oh c'mon Shino, don't be like that!" Kiba said, hugging him.

"Get your hands off of me" Shino ordered.

"No~❤️" 

"Then I guess we'll be taking our leave" Shisui smiled, as if nothing happened and walked away. Itachi followed.

Naruto was gonna go an pair up with Kiba then he realised that he couldn't. He turned around and saw Sasuke smirking.

"Well, what are you waiting for? An invitation" He asked. Naruto blushed. 

Fuck. Nothing is going according to plan.

Chapter Text

~Chapter 5~

-Naruto POV-

Naruto braced himself as he gently sat on the mattress. Sasuke moved a little so that Naruto would have place to sleep. Naruto raised the blanket and went inside. He could feel the warmth of Sasuke's body. Naruto wiggled around in an attempt to make place. 'Was this bed always this small?' He thought. 

"Stop moving so much" Sasuke said in an annoyed tone. 

"Nighty nighty~" Kiba said.

"Is he drunk or something?" Suigetsu asked. Everyone chuckled. Naruto had to accept his fate. The matress was too small (he was so sure that this wasn't the case with Kiba) and he could feel Sasuke's breathe on his neck. Just when he thought things can't get any worse, Sasuke wrapped his arm's around Naruto's waiste.

"What're you doing?!" Naruto whisper-yelled.

"I'm cold" Sasuke said as he nuzzled his head into Naruto's nape. Naruto's face and ears felt hot. His heart was beating fast, real fast as if it was going to leap out of his chest and he was sure that Sasuke could feel and hear his heart beat. He took a deep breathe and promised to treat himself some ramen if he survived this night.

The next morning, Naruto woke up to find his face buried in Sasuke's chest. 'How the fuck did this happen?' he paniced as he rolled off the matress. 

"You finally awake?" Sasuke asked with his signature playboy asshole smirk on his face. Oh god, Saskue's morning voice made Naruto's heart do a cartwheel. Naruto got up lazily, pretending to still be half asleep. All his drousiness vanished when he heard Sasuke's voice. 

Shikamaru was (suprisingly) rolling the matress and Sai along with Kiba was putting the blankets inside the closet. Sasuke went to help the other and Naruto joined them shortly. When they were finally done putting back the matresses, pillows and blankets, Suigetsu and Shino enter the room with towels on their shoulders.

"We're done taking bath" Suigetsu announced. He used the bathroom inside Sasuke's room while Shino used the common washroom. The others took turns to use the bathroom and soon they were ready to eat. When they arrived to the kitchen, they saw that their plates were already set with food. Sasuke when to the fridge and plucked the sticky note that was stuck on it. He read it aloud.

Cooked food for you ungrateful brats, don't need to thank me <3333

"How can he call us ungrateful when he doesn't even let us thank him?" Suigetsu pointed out.

"That," Shikaramu said "is a very good question"

"Let's just dig in" Sasuke said. They all said and eat their pancakes in silence.

"So, what do we do now?" Kiba and Suigetsu asked.

"Let's play monopoly" Shikamaru suggested. 

"Are you crazy?"

"You're the only one who wins the game!" Kiba and Naruto complained.

"That's exactly why I wanna play" Shikamaru rolled his eyes. After a few debates they ended up playing three rounds of monopoly. But Shikamaru didn't win a single round. All the rounds were won by the underdog Shino. 

"How the fuck?" Shikamaru asked, stressed at the fact that he lost.

"I don't really care that I lost, but I'm so fucking happy that Shikamaru did" Kiba laughed at his face mockingly. Shikamaru made a pissed face, but didn't reacte. It was a sign which ment that he would take his revenge, slowly. And he would also get back on Shino for the embarrasment. Naruto shuttered at the thought.

After a few rounds of uno, they decided to play twister. Sai had bought it by accident and decided that it was finally it's time to shine after spending a long time sitting in his shelf, wanting to be taken out. 

A/N: im skipping the twister part cuz i want the story to go to the next arc that i plan on writting. ill just give a small summery of what happened. while playing the game, naruto's face had an interesting view of an interesting part of sasuke's body, the rest is up to ur imagination.

After a messy game of twister, they decided to go back home. They all said their goodbyes and went home. Naruto walked past his old pre-school. He stopped as he saw the swing (A/N: oFC I HAD TO GIVE THE SWING SOME SCREENTIME. this aint naruto without a swing). All his childhood memories flashed. The loneliness, the bullying, and the tears. He sighed as he walked past it.  Back when he used to walk past it in elementary school, he would always walk past the swing and be in a bad mood since no one was there for him, but now, Naruto knew that there were people that cared for him and would always have his back. Thinking about all the good memories made Naruto's chest feel warm and fuzzy. For the first time in a while, he genuinely smiled.

~~~Time skip to Monday~~~

Many people thought monday's were awful, but today was not like that at all. Thinks were going smoothly. He reached class on time, finished all his incomplete homework, and caught up with his classmates. They had PE today, but he was too tired and decided to bunk class.

As he was walking around in the hallway, he saw a certain red-head cornering a girl. 'Karin' he thought. His annoying as-far-as-the-sun distant relative was up to know good, again. As he went closer, he realized that the girl that was pushed against the wall was none other than Sasuke's current girlfriend Akko. 

As much as he didn't like her, he couldn't let Akko get bullied by Karin, specially since she has a weird obbsession with Sasuke. She was obvoiusly picking on her because Akko was his new girlfriend and she wasn't. He was going to interfere but someone already beat him to it.

"Are you still this petty to go and bully other girls just because they got a chance and you didn't?" The newcomer said. Naruto knew this voice all too well. It was the voice of his gal pal and partner in crime, Haruno Sakura.

"You! What are you doing here?" Karin sheirked, her face as red as her hair, probably due to anger. 

"That's my line" Sakura glared daggers at her. Naruto thought that they were all buddy-buddy together but that was obviously not the case. Sometimes Inos can be wrong too. Karin returned the glare. She looked like she was going to fight Sakura head on. If she was, then Naruto was afraid that things might escelate and it might ruin Sakura's reputation. He decided to but in.

"I wouldn't fight Sakura if I were you" Naruto warned. Karin glared at him.

"Don't inter-" She was cut by Naruto.

"And I also wouldn't bully Sasuke's girlfriend if I wanted to he in his good books if I were you" 

"That's such a no-brainer" Sakura rolled her eyes. Karin was fuming. 

"Beware, Sakura and Naruto. I'll get you for this one." She warned as she walked away. 

"You should've let me cook Naruto" Sakura said.

"Yeah, sure. You'll cook, have your girl boss moment, eat that shit up, impresss everyone else and ultimatly get suspended for breaking school rules" Naruto narrated. Sakura considered the situation and replied.

"You know what, you did the right thing Naruto. But, why are you here anyway?" 

"I'm bunking PE" he replied.

"Why would you bunk PE?" Sakura asked.

"The same reason as you" Naruto bit back. Sakura chuckled. That's the Naruto she knew. Always up to no good and is fresh with his sassy remarks. 

"But I have a question" Naruto said.

"Um, sorry to interupt" Akko said. The two of them had completely forgotten her existence.

"I really don't want to over hear your conversation or make you wait so I'll be quick. I wanted to thank you two for helping me out." 

"You don't have to thank me, I barely did anything" Naruto said.

"You should stop underestimating yourself and give some credit, ya' know!" Sakura said as she slapped Naruto's back. Naruto hissed.

"Still as strong as before I see" He commented.

"Don't worry about it" Sakura smiled at Akko. "If she, or anyone bothers you again, you know who to call" Sakura said as she flexed her bicep. Akko giggled.

"Sure do Haruno-san" 

"You don't have to be so formal" 

"Alright, Sakura-san, I'll you around. You too Uzumaki-san" Akko said as she left. The two of the waved at Akko.

"Right, your question" Sakura reminded Naruto.

"Ah, yes. I thought you and Karin were on good terms."

"Haaaah? What? Are you even hearing yourself? Me and Karin? Never" Sakura looked puzzled.

"Really? Well, Ino told me that you've been ignoring her and hang out with Karin insted"

"Is this about last week? 'Cause me and Karin were put in a group together and I wanted to finish it as soon as possible. So I couldn't hang out with Ino"

"Ohhhh, but you might wanna clear up this misunderstanding. Ino is very hurt" Naruto suggested. 

"Ofcourse! That's the first thing I'm gonna do after school!" 

"Slay, now we should probably head back to the ground" 

"Yeah, good idea"

~~~Time skip to the end of school~~~

-Sasuke POV-

Sasuke noticed that Naruto was misssing in the ground. When PE got over, he tried asking where Naruto had vanished, but everytime he did so, there was something that interrupted him.  After school got over, Sasuke scurried over to Naruto who was walking alone, along with his cycle.

"Hey" Sasuke said. Naruto turned around and smiled at him as a sign of aknowlegdement.

"So, I've been meaning to ask something for a while now" Sasuke started.

"Shoot" Naruto replied.

"So-" Sasuke was interrupted by Akko.

"Hi!" She said enthusiastically with a smile.

"Hey" Sasuke replied.

"Hello" Naruto said. 

"Thanks again for the help Uzumaki-san" Akko said. Sasuke raised a brow, what kind of help did Naruto do and when did this happned?

"Please, I barely did anything, it was mostly Sakura" Naruto replid. When did Sakura come in the picture?

"Even you agree it was mostly Sakura, so you did do a little work right?" Akko pointed out. Naruto chuckled.

"You're a smart one" 

"What did Naruto help you with?" Sasuke asked Akko.

"Oh nothing much" She said and then she proceeded to explain what happened. While she was explaining the situation, Naruto was looking at his phone. When Sasuke saw him again, Naruto's face was filled with shock.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Sasuke asked. Akko turned around and noticed Naruto's expression. Naruto seemed to ignore the question. He was frantically turning his head around as if he was searching for someone. 

"Sakura!" He yelled. Sasuke and Akko flinched. They did not expect him to yell like that. Sakura ran over and asked.

"What's wrong?" She looked concerned.

"Ino'smeetingupwithHinatanearthenewbobaplaceandisplanningtoaskherout!" Naruto said it so fast that Sasuke couldn't understand a thing. But the look on Sakura's face suggested that she might've understood the message he tried to conway. 

"Hey Sasuke!" She said "How long does it take to reach the new boba place?"

"Well, if you take that right then-" Sasuke was interrupted by Naruto. 

"I'll take you there" He said as he threw a red helmet that he spawned out of nowhere at Sakura. He was also wearing the same helmet, but it was orange in color. 

"We can go down hill and cut them off" He continued. He was sitting on his cycle, waiting for Sakura to top on. 

"But, your part time job!" 

"It's fine. This is not the time for my part time job, hop on!" He yelled. Sakura sat on the cycle and they took off. They were heading towards the top of the hill.

"What the hell?" Sasuke thought. What ever the fuck was happening between the two?

"Um, should we have told them that it was faster to go from the right?" Akko asked.

Chapter Text

~Chapter 6~

-Naruto POV-

Riding your cycle downhill with your bestie/partner-in-crime on a cool yet sunny afternoon after a long day of school would have been quite refreshing and fun, if his bestie's love life was not in danger.

He got a text from Ino which stated that she was going to ask Hinata out, which would be disasterous considering the misunderstanding.

They finally reached the bottom of the hill. Naruto took a right turn and pedaled as fast as he could. Soon they reacher the boba shop. But the two people of interest were no where to be seen.

"Please please please don't tell me that we lost them!" Sakura pleaded. Naruto narrowed his eyes. He thought he saw a girl walking alone towards the shop. As she came closer, he noticed that half of the girl's face was covered by her light blonde hair. He realized that no other girl would walk around like that other than Ino. But where was Hinata? Naruto cycled towards her direction and stopped infront of her.

"Naruto? Sakura!" Ino was shocked to see the two. Sakura got off the cycle, removed the helmet and handed it over to Naruto.

"Thanks for the ride, but you should really go now. You'll be late for work. I've got it from here." Sakura reassured Naruto. Naruto sighed and left, hoping that things don't go south for his gal pals. He reahced his work place five minutes late. He entered, hoping that he wouldn't get caught but things don't always go as plan. Naruto learnt that the hard way.

"May I know the reason why you are so late?" His boss asked. Tenten spectated the situation from the kitchen, debating if she should help Naruto or not.

"I was trying to same my friend's love life, and I rushed from that place so it took a while. I'm deeply soory, Boss, I wont be repeating this mistake again." Naruto gulped. He hoped that his boss would spare him.

"Did you just say that you went to save your friend's love life?" His boss asked.

"Yes sir" Naruto replied nervously.

"Well, spill." Naruto and Tenten both remembered how much off a sucker their boss was for gossip. Tenten sighed. She didn't need to step in after all. As she went back to work, Naruto begane to narrate what happened. After he was done, Naruto's boss looked like he was at a loss of words.

"Well, what happened after that?" His boss asked curiosly.

"Dunno"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Well, I left after that because I would be late for work so" Naruto trailed off.

"Huh? Seriously? That's your excuse?" His boss was speechless. "You were already late coming here so might as well have staying there and found out what happened!"

"Well, they also needed their privacy!" Naruto pointed out in his defence. "And besides, I'll find out what happened soon enough"

"Oh you better fill me up tomorrow" His boss said as he signaled him to proceed with his work.

-Sasuke POV-

Naruto was being distant with him. It was so obvious. Sasuke sat on his lawn as he looked a the sunset. He had been pondering about Naruto for days know. Ever since he started dating Akko, Naruto has been spending less and less time with him. He felt that Naruto wouldn't have shown up to his house for the sleepover if Kiba had picked Shino from the station.

He was also spending time with other people, like Ino for example. He noticed that they had been spending a lot of time together during lunch, which Naruto usually used to spend with Sasuke. It was low-key pissing him off. And the comments Akko made didn't make things any better. She once asked Sasuke if Naruto and Ino were dating, and ofcourse, Sasuke said no. There was no way in hell that Naruto wouldn't tell him if he was dating someone.

The more he thought abotu Naruto and Ino being together, the more it annoyed him. He was jealous. His bestfriend had now found someone else to hang out with and is slowly ignoring him. He was also being secretive. Like the incident with Akko today.

It seemed like Naruto didn't want to talk to him about it. But he ofcourse asked Akko. According to her, Karen (A/N: It's karin but sasuke doesn't remember her name) was trying to bully her and then Sakura and Naruto came in and helped her out. This kind of hurt Sasuke's ego. The fact that he wasn't there to help his girlfriend out and that his friend did in his sted didn't quite settle in. He knew that Naruto would help anyone who was in this situation regardless of who they were, but that thought really didn't help his ego.

Another thing that he noticed that he was also sharing a secret with Sakura. Like during dispersal, they just went off without any explaination. The three of them used to be super close during elementary school. But Sasuke had to relocate to Tokyo during his second year of middleschool due to family complications and only returned during his second year of highschool. This was a long time and by then Naruto became closer with other people which was something Sasuke did not like.

He didn't want to control Naruto or anything because he respected Naruto's social life but he also wanted to hang out like the old times. After school they would go and invent all sorts of games and try to compete against each other. After that, they would go to Ichiraku's ramen shop and eat. While Sasuke was deep in thought, two raven-haired men decided to sneak up on him.

"BOO!" Shisui said. Sasuke flinched.

"What was that for?" He asked.

"Well, you were sitting in your iconic 'I'm too busy overthing my life choices' pose so we decided to help you loosen up a bit." Shisui said as he and Itachi sat next to Sasuke. Shisui to his left while Itachi was at his right.

"So, what's the problem, baby bro?" Itachi asked.

"What would you do if someone you're really close with suddenly just starts to ignore you?"

"Wow, is the playboy Uchiha having problems with his lovelife?" Shisui asked. There was another thing Sasuke hated. Unrealistic expectations of him. Many people assumed that he was a playboy just because he had a handsome face, was rich and he dated a lot of girls. The reason why he dated so many girls was that he wanted someone to like him. Someone who was genuinely interested in him, the real him. Not the rich and hot image of him. The only person who he actually thought understands him is now ignoring him as if it was nothing.

"How about you just ask that person directly" Itachi suggested. Sasuke loved his brother. He always gave the best advice. "I think they wouldn't mind because you said that you were close to them"

Sasuke smiled at Itachi and pecked his cheek.

"Thanks, Nii-san"

"Hey, where's my kiss?" Shisui pouted.

"Why should I kiss you?" Sasuke raised a brow.

"Hmph, my exsitance is never acknowledged" Shisui said as he dramatically leaned onto Sasuke's shoulder, placing his hand on his forehead. Sasuke rolled his eyes. He decided that he would confront the blond once and for all.

~~~Time skip to the next day at school~~~

Naruto was definately ignoring him. Sasuke confermed his suspisions that day based on the way Naruto acted. He avoided eye-contact everytime Sasuke spoke something and always responded dryly which was not something Naruto would do to any of his friends, especially Sasuke. He tried talking to him but Naruto always rejected him by saying things like "Oh look, the teacher's here" or "Let's concentrate on class" like since when did he concentrate during class?

It was finally lunch break and Sasuke wanted to talk to him. But as usual, Naruto escaped and scurried outside to the corridor. Sasuke sighed as he followed him outside class. He saw Naruto walking towards Sakura and the blonde girl Ino. He called Naruto but it looked like he didn't hear him. Sasuke struggled to keep his cool. He grabbed Naruto's wrist and dragged him.

 Naruto's eyes widened as he felt a hand grip his wrist and turned around. Before he knew it, he was pulled and pinned against the wall by Sasuke. He looked a little pissed.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He asked, which sounded more like an order.

~Chapter 7~

-Sasuke POV-

Sasuke did not mean to pin Naruto on the wall. But it was two late to back out. He acted as if he had totally ment to pin him onto the locker. 

"Why are you ignoring me?" Sasuke blurted. 'Fuck,' he thought 'nothing is going according to the pre-script senario that I played in my head hunderdreds of times last night' 

Naruto looked like he was at a loss of worded, as if it didn't strike him that he was actually ignoring Sasuke. He looked at Sasuke's hand uneasily and uttered.

"How about we talk abou this in private?" Naruto cauciously took Sasuke's hand away from the locker and looked around. Sasuke could finally feel the peering eyes of everyone in the corridor on his back. He inhaled and agreed. 

"I really didn't mean to ignore you, ya know? I never thought I did until you confronted me like that. I'm really sorry" Naruto said. Funny how he thought that three sentences would help ease all the jumbled up emotions he'd been feeling for three weeks. 

"What's with the sudden change of attutide?" Sasuke wasn't letting this go quickly.

"Well, I was just giving you some space because you started dating again"

"What does me dating someone have to do anything with this?" Sasuke was surprised. He never imagined his so-called dating life to interfere with his friendship with Naruto. 

"Literally everything" Naruto said, "You always ignored me when you started dating some new girl, so this time I thought I'd rather give you some space before hand" Naruto bit back. Sasuke gasped. He never remembered ignoring Naruto. 

"I don't remember ignoring you" 

"I don't know what you remember but it sure felt like ignoring to me" Sasuke just blinked.

"Well, how about we just move on from this topic and hang out normally again?" Naruto suggested. "It's kinda pointless to just argue"

Sasuke considered that. He still wanted to know how exactly he was "ignoring" Naruto but he knew if they continued this conversation, it would got further and end up on a bad note. They already had some problems, and they certainly don't need more. It's best to leave it and move on.

"I guess you're right" Sasuke said "How about we meet up after school and go to Ichiraku's?" 

"Um, I'd love to but I already got work and plans. You know I'd never miss a ramen hang right?"

"Makes sense. How about this weekend?" Naruto averted his eyes. He let out a nervous chuckle. Sasuke sighed. 

"Lemme guess, you already have work and plans?" The raven raised a brow at the blond who smiled nervously. He then got up and said.

"I know it looks like I'm trying to ignore you, but my boss kinda signed up for the fair thing so have to work there over the weekend" The blond said as he scratched his head awkwardly.

"It's fine, I understand" Sasuke said "We can always hang out later"  The blond's eyes sparkled.

"Really? Thanks for understanding man. I promise to make it up to you" He said as he grabbed Sasuke's hands. Sasuke felt his cheeks heat up.

"N-no problem man" He stuttered. His heart skipped a beat, but why? 

"Well, we should probably head back to class" Naruto said. 

"Yeah" 

-Ino POV-

Ino was waiting for Naruto in the hallway along with Sakura. They had to tell Naruto what happened. She finally saw Naruto coming from his class. She waved at the blond approching her. Before he could wave back, Sasuke came out of nowhere, pulled Naruto and pinned him against the lockers. Everyone, including Ino, gasped. 

"Why are you ignoring me?" He asked Naruto.

Fuck, Ino thought. Sakura looked at Ino. 

"Are you seeing what I am seeing?" She asked.

"Yes, and we are leaving" Ino said as she pulled Sakura away from the scene. 

"Huh-why?" 

"I'm kinda the reason this is happening" Ino chuckled awkwardly.

"Ino!" Sakura yelled. Ino shrugged. 

'I hope everything goes smoothly' She prayed.

After reaching home from school, finishing her homeowrk and studies, Ino looks at the time. It was almost time for Naruto's shift to end. She decided to go and talk to him in person. She grabbed her cardigan from the coat hanger and went downstairs.

"Mom I'm going to meet Naruto, I'll be back in a while"  Ino's mom raised a brow.

"Come back soon or else" Ino's mom knew her daughter would understand the rest.

"Yes yes I know"  Ino said as she closed the door. She ran to Naruto's work place, thankfull it was close by. When she reached the shop she saw Tenten Ne-san closing the store and Naruto was standing next to her. They both were laughing about something. Ino came closer and announced her presence. Naruto turned around wide-eyed.

"Ino? What are you doing here?" He asked. 

"We need to talk" Ino said as she waved at Tenten Ne-san. 

"That's my que, bye!" Tenten Ne-san said. She looked like she didn't wanna get involved, yet.

"You didn't have to come all the way here, I was headin' to your house anyway" Naruto started.

"It's fine" Ino said.

"So...what did you wanna talk about?"

"Let's start with Sasuke. I kinda saw what happened with Sasuke. You still good?"

"Yeah, we sorted it out so we're cool" Naruto looked like he wanted to say more.

"And...?" 

"Well, I feel terrible. I didn't wanna hurt him back ya know. Like, how am I supposed to move on without hurting him?" Ino sighed. Naruto was such a softie. Even though his so-called friend's actions broke him to peices, he didn't want the same to happen to him. 

"Then how about you try seeing someone?" Ino suggested. Naruto's eyes-widened. 

"Ino"  Naruto said, looking dead serious.

"Yes..?" Ino asked, her voice fading each time she said a letter.

"That is genius" Ino smacked him.

"Ouch! What was that for?" 

"I almost got a heart attack" 

"Well, enough about me. It's your turn" Naruto smiled like the devil. Ino knew all too well what Naruto was talking about.  She sighed. 

'God, save me' She thought.

-Ino POV-

"Well, I'll start from where you left okay?" Ino asked. Naruto nodded eagerly. He was obviously dying to know what happened.

Ino looked at Sakura. She couldn't believe her eyes. The Haruno Sakura, the girl who she was chasing for eternity, the one who was ignoring her for the past week was standing right infront of her, and boy did she look pissed.

"So, I didn't talk to you for a week and you decide to switch partners?" She asked.

"Excuse me?" The corner of Ino's mouth twitched. Now she was getting pissed. Sakura ignored her for a week. And she was also hanging out with that bitch Karin. She had no right to get mad at her. Not when she did it first.

"You were the one who ignored me and-" Sakura didn't her finish.

"Please, I literally waved at you every single fucking day, but you were too cuaght up trying to ignore me to notice!" Sakura spat.

"Are you tired of me already?" Sakura asked.

"No-" Sakura cut off Ino and continued to ramble.

"Is it because I have small boobs?!" She yelled.

"Hold up," Naruto interrupted "ain't no way she said that" He looked like he saw a ghost.

"She literally yelled, Naruto, fucking yelled. And I could swear there were no people. Like they just appeared out of nowhere when she said that" 

"I would've died if I was in your place" Naruto shivered, thinking about how embarrasing that would be. Ino continued her story.

Ino was embarrased. She ran towards Saukra and pulled her away from the main road. 

"What are you thinking? This has nothing to do with your boobs!" Ino whisper yelled. 

"The-" Ino cut Sakura before she jumped into worse conclusions. 

"Well, you were the one hanging out with Karin in the first place!" Ino yelled. Sakura looked disgusted. 

"What the fuck? I wasn't hanging around with that bitch!" Sakura spat.

"Huh? It sure looked like that" Ino countered.

"We were working together for a group project. I literally fucking texted you!"

"You didn't!" 

"I did! I even have proof!" Sakura yelled as she got her phone to show her messages. When she opens her chat with Ino, she realizes the misunderstanding.

"Oh" 

"What?" Ino asked. She didn't bother to hide the venom in her vioce. 

"It shows that the message wasn't delivered"

"What.the.fuck." 

"I know right" Sakura and Ino looked at each other. There was a moment of silence, which was immedietly broken by the two girl's laughter. They couldn't believe they fought over something so dumb. 

"I cannot believe I yellled 'Is is because my boobs are small'. Like, someone kill me right now"

"So, we gonna forget about this after one laugh?" Ino asked.

"Yep" Sakura replied. Ino smiled.

"Well then, let's go! I really want some boba" 

"Ino, wait" Sakura said in a serious tone. Ino turned.

"Hm?" She asked.

"How long are you gonna stall?" 

"What are you talking about?" Ino asked, genuinly curious. 

"I'm tired of waiting, Ino" Sakura said as she pulled Ino into a kiss.

"OH MY GOD" Naruto squealled like a fangirl who's OTP finally started sailing. The guy walking next to them raised a brow. Naruto shot him an awkward smile.

"Sorry" He muttered. Then he turned to Ino and asked. 

"What happened next" Naruto whisper yelled. 

"I'm not telling you!" Ino whisper yelled back, embarrased. Naruto grunted.

"Well, did you at least get together?"  Ino nodded shyly. Naruto supressed a squeal. 

"I'm so happy for you" Naruto beamed.

"But I have a question" Naruto said.

"Shoot"

"What happened the whole 'I'm GoiNg To AsK hInAtA oUt' shit?"

"Oh that?" Ino siad calmly "I chickened out"

"No way, the Ino chickening out? Now that's unheard of"

"Well, it's your turn again" Ino said, ignoring Naruto "Who do you want to date, Naruto? Like, what's your type?"

"Hmm," Naruto said. He decided to tease Ino some other day "Someone who looks cold, but is a total softy for you and kinda flirty" 

"So, basically another Sasuke" Ino asked as she arched her brow. Naruto's cheeks flushed. He looked away and scratched his head. 

"Hmm, how 'bout Sai?" Ino asked.

"No, he's weird" Naruto said immedietly.

"Shino?" 

"Pass"

"Hmm, I'll try to find a guy that fits your description, but you should try and find someone on your side too" Ino said.

"Yeah, and girls are chill too" Naruto reminded Ino.

"Noted" She almost forgot Naruto was bisexual. Maybe thats because he's been crushing on Sasuke for so long that he probably forgot how to be attracted to girls.

"Welp, that's my house" Ino said.

"Thanks Ino. You really helped today"

"Pfft, I barely did anything" But Naruto just smiled. They waved at each other and turned their backs. 

'My mom is so going to kill me' Ino thougt.

-Sasuke POV- 

~~~Same day different timing~~~

After school ended Sasuke wnt to meet one of his most trusted friends. He needed a team to help him out for the thing he was going to do and he knew one guy that would never back out.

"No thanks, I'm good" The so-called trusted guy, AKA Suigetsu said.

"But why? Are you really gonna spend the weekend cooped up in your house while there's a fair going on?" 

"Yes, and?"  Suigetsu raised a brow.

"You're so boring" Sasuke tried reverse psycology, but it didn't work.

"Excuse me? I'd rather rewatch two gay guys trying to save each other and gradually turn immortal then live together in a mountain because they can't decide who's gonna top(A/N: guess the c-drama) than go outside, on a sunny day, filled with," he said with disgust "people."

"What the fuck" Sasuke blinked. Wow, he should reeally find better friends. 

"But I might come after 7. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go home and cry

"Okay...? Then I'll just find someone else" As Sasuke left to find someone, he heard his name. He turned around and realized that his girlfriend, Akko, was calling him.

"Hi Sasuke-kun" She said.

"Ah, Akko, hi" Sasuke said, trying to cover up his awkwardness. 

"Have you heard about the fair that's happening during the weekend?"

"Yeah, I did"

"Well, I was just wondering if we could go together that day"

"I'm hanging out with my friends in the morning. So how about we hang out in the evening? Like during the fireworks"

"Oh yeah, sure. I don't want you to not hang out with your friends because of me. How about I call you before the fireworks start?"

"Cool" Sasuke replied. He kinda felt bad for wanting to leave. He had to catch the others before they leave.

"Okay then, I won't be holding you up! I'll see you tomorrow" Akko smiled.

"See ya" Sasuke said and then turned around. He went to find Kiba and Shikamaru, who thankfully didn't leave yet. He ran towards them. Sasuke noticed that Kiba raised his brow so it probably ment that he noticed the very emo looking guy running towards him.

"Wassup?" Kiba asked.

"You guys free during the weekend?" Sasuke asked, panting.

"For the fair thing? I guess" Shikamaru asked.

"Well, I want you two to come in the morning" Sasuke said. Kiba looked puzzled.

"The morning? In the sun?"

"Yes Kiba, in the morning, in the sun" Sasuke deadpanned.

"What're we gonna do in the morning anyway?" Shikamaru asked.

"Spy on Naruto" Sasuke stated.

Sakura (literally) pulled Ino into a kiss. Ino's eyes widened. She pushed Sakura away from her. 

"Sakura!" She whisper-yelled.

"What! You weren't gonna do this any time soon!" Sakura whisper yelled back.

"Fair but not in public!" 

"We're literally in the woods!" 

"But still-"

"I'll get straight to the point, Ino" Sakura said normally as she got on her knees "Can I be your girlfried?"

"Yes!" Ino said with a smile. Sakura took Ino's hand and kissed her knuckle.

"You should get up now. Your knees will get scraped" Ino said. Sakura got up and kissed Ino again. She pulled away and looked at Ino with hungry eyes. This time Ino started the kiss. She sucked Sakura's lower lip tenderly. She felt her back hit a tree. Ino opened her mouth and Sakura let her tounge slide inside. They both explored each other's mouth, kissing each other passionately.

Sakura pulled out again to catch her breathe. She looked at Ino. They both were panting heavily, a string of saliva connecting their mouths. Ino's lips were swollen, so her's were probably swollen too. She started the kiss again and this time she slid her hand under Ino's shirt and groped her large breast. Ino whimpered in surprise as she pulled sakura's hand. She broke the kiss and yelled.

"Sakura!" But Sakura just smiled at her innocently.

~Chapter 9~

-Shikamaru POV-

"Um, what the fuck?" Shikamaru asked, confused and mostly embarrassed as pushed his sunglasses from falling off of his nose. Sasuke seemed convinced that Naruto was hiding something from them and they simply had to find out what. That's how he ended up sitting with sunglasses on a table where Naruto could clearly see them. The most embarrassing part was Sasuke.

He was dressed in black (as usual). From his top to his shoes. Heck, the only thing remaining was his nails. If he had painted them black, along with some smokey eyeshadow, he'd look like the real deal. He made two small holes in a newspaper and pretended to read, while he was actually spying on Naruto. But like, who the fuck uses a newspaper at this day and age?

The more Shikamaru looked at Sasuke, the more he felt embarrased. It was so obvious that he was spying on someone. Everyone gave them weird looks. Their faces screamed 'Who uses a newspaper in this day and age?'

Kiba on the other hand, was actually dressed to fit in perfectly. He removed his red face paint, which was a symbol of his clan, made him look a bit different. He wore a white tank top and navy blue knee-length shorts along with a black cap that he kept pulling to cover his face because of the embarrasment (Sasuke). His strawberry boba tea was left untouched on the table. He wouuld occasionally steal glances at Shikamaru and try his best to convay his regret to him.

Shikamaru wished that he bought a cap, but tying his hair again was such a drag. He decided to do the work he came here to do. He sneaked glances at Naruto. There was nothing out of the ordinary. He was working hard in the hot sun, sweat dripping from his chin and biceps. Shikamaru never really noticed them at school due to the uniform, but it was pretty obvious as Naruto had rolled up his sleeves which intentionally or unintentionally exposed his toned biceps. His tan skin made them look even sexier. Many girls were coming to this place just to look at him. Shikamaru didn't know if he should be proud of his friend or jealous of him.

Unfortunatrly, Naruto had spotted them from the crown. Golly gee, what gave it away? He shot Shikamaru and confused look and then continued to work.

"Good, I think he didn't notice us" Sasuke said.

'What the in the fuck?' Shikamaru thought. He turned to Kiba's direction and saw Kiba looking at him. Based on his expression, Shikamaru could make out that he had the same thoughts as him. But what made Shikamaru curious was Kiba's behaviour. If it was the Kiba he knew, he would have gotten up immedietly, declared that this was useless and would have left. Insted his demure changed. His usually confident posture was slunked aback, as if he was trying to go inside the chair, like he wanted to go unnoticed by everyone. He was pulling his cap forward, in an attempt to hide his face, which was so red that it looked like he never removed his face paint. He kept stealing glances at a certain direction. Shikamaru trying to follow Kiba's gaze and smirked evily when he realized what Kiba was trying so hard to hide. 

-Kiba's POV-

Kiba's mother loved to compare him with his peers. His mother would always talk about 'The Prodogy Brothers of the Uchiha', AKA Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke. He somewhat grew along side Sasuke and was constantly compared to him, so he lowkey didn't like the guy. He always thought Sasuke was some kind of braniac (not better than Shikamaru though), but today, Sasuke's so-called perfect facade was broked into pieces. Kiba couldn't believe that he compared himself with a fucking idiot like him. He was so depressed sometimes, but now, Kiba didn't think he could compare himself with Sasuke ever again. He guessed that only Itachi got all the gifts. 

(A/N: no sasuke hate lmao)

It was so fucking obvioud that Naruto had spotted him. Whatever the hell was he gonna tell Naruto? Kiba looked towards his right and stared in horror when he realized who was there. 

'Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck' Kiba thought. He simply cannot be seen by him. He kept pulling his cap downwards and sunk into his chair, hoping that he would disappear into it. Unfortunately, he didn't. He kept glancing at that direction, hoping that person didn't spot him. He felt his cheeks flush out of embarrasment.

Kiba sighed. If he wasn't going to disappear into his chair, then he would just have to find some other way to disappear. Kiba slowly got out of his chair and ran.

-Sasuke's POV-

Sasuke sighed in relief. He thought he was unnoticed by Naruto. From what Sasuke saw, Naruto was working with three other part-timers. He recognized the girl, was her name nine-nine? He never saw the other two before so they probably worked at different shifts. Another thing that Sasuke noticed was that Naruto was getting hit on by a lot of people, girls and boys alike. And Sasuke did not like that. Not one bit. There was this pit formed in his stomuch, filled with a swirling emotion that he couldn't decipher. He clenched his jaw. 

Sasuke had seen enough. He didn't know why, but he couldn't stand anyone hitting on Naruto. Just when he was about to leave, he saw a red-haired man tapping Naruto's back. When Naruto turned to look at the person who tapped his back, he broke into a smile. Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the newcomer and then realized who he was, Gaara.

Sasuke felt a bad taste lingeing in his mouth. He never liked Gaara, from the day he met him till today, and he might not like him in the future either. But what creeped him out the most was the fact that Gaara was smilling. That little gesture from Gaara was enough to send chill sdown Sasuke's spine. What ever the hell happened to Gaara when Sasuke was gone?

Deep down inside Sasuke always felt left out by his friends. That was probably because he left the village for three years and moved to Tokyo. He spent the last two years of middle school and his first year of highschool over there, so he was bound to miss things, and Gaara smilling was certainly one of them.

From what Sasuke remembered, Gaara was the most emo kid he had ever seen (apart from him ofcourse). He wore black eyeliner which brought out his pale yet pastel blue eyes, his hair was bright red and his face was permanently plastered with a scowl. They also had a show-off with each other and Sasuke was ashamed to admit that he lost to Gaara. That was the last year he spent before moving to Tokyo. Another thing that Sasuke was pretty sure about was that Gaara didn't live in Konoha but lived in Sunagakure or the sand village or whatever. 

'But why did he come so far?' Sasuke thought.

Sasuke continued to spy on the two and he saw Gaara slightly blush. Sasuke raised a brow. Then his eyes widened when Gaara cupped/held Naruto's hand with his. Sasuke cleched his jaw, his nerve popping out. He didn't know why it angered him so much or why he wanted to punch Gaara in the face. He tured around to see if his friends were watching this too, but he didn't find anyone. 

'Good,' Sasuke thought 'now nobody can stop me'. He walked towards the two.

~Bonus Chapter~

-Third person POV-

Ino was sitting on her chair, doing her homework. The only light in the room came from her study lamp on her table and the street light from the window. It was quite the windy night as the wind entered her room, making her lavender and violet curtains sway. Ino was a very focused person. She was writing down chemical equations when she heard a thud. At first Ino dismisssed it, thinking she was just hearing things, but the sound kept repeating.

Ino was scared. She was alone at home. Her dad rarely came home because of his job and her mom was at her aunt's house because she was sick. Ino gulped as she went towards her closet and took the baseball bat kept next to it. Boy was she glad that Kiba had entrusted his bat to her.

She crept closer to the window, until she was right next to her window seat. The sounds were very close. She sprinted up, raising her bat, ready to attack. But she was met with a surprise.

"S-sakura?" Ino asked shocked.

"The one and only" Sakura replied with a chuckle. "A little birdy told me you were home alone" She smirked. The only "little birdy" who know that Ino was alone at home was Naruto.

'That lil' shit' Ino thought. Sakura leaped onto the window seat, sat and removed her shoes. 

"What about your parent?" Ino asked.

"Too busy making love" Sakura said.

"I regret asking" Ino walked towards her study table and took a seat. Sakura had shifted herself to Ino's bed. She laid down, sideways, using one arm as support for her head. She looked at Ino and asked.

"Are you really gonna study when your girlfriend's at your house?" 

"Well, I never invited her in the first place" Ino replied. Sakura faked hurt.

"How could you possibaly treat your grilfriend like that?" Sakura asked dramatically as she got up and walked towards Ino. She was now right behind Ino, slipping her hands on her waist. 

"Are you really gonna spent the night studying?" She whispered into Ino's ear seductively. Ino sighed. She pushed her chair and got up. 

"You are one horney motherfucker" She said as she turned to face Sakura, who smiled at her. Sakura leaned into a kiss. She sucked her girlfriend's pump pink lips delicately and her girlfriend returned her gesture. 

Ino ran her hand through Sakura's short pink hair tenderly. Sakura slipped her hands under Ino's white tank top. Ino then opened her mouth and let Sakura's tounge inside her mouth. Soon, they both started to explore each other's mouth, from teeth to their naval cavities. Sakura pushed Ino onto her bed. She felt Sakura trying to remove the hook of her bra. She stopped Sakura and asked.

~Chapter 10~

-Sasuke POV-

Sasuke followed Naruto and Gaara, or to be more precise, tried to. A group of people came out of nowhere and walked infront of Sasuke, not allowing him to move. When the group finally left, Sasuke tried to find the two, but it was too late. Neither Naruto nor Gaara and even that other girl was nowhere to be seen. Sasuke tched as he tried to find them.

He walked around the fair, heading towards the stalls. He didn't know why he was going there, he was just following his gut feeling, and turns out it was right. Sasuke spotted a girl with two buns made out of braids. From what he could remember, the girl who worked there wore her hair like that. He moved closer, but maintained a distance from them, enough to see what was happening. He saw Naruto, Gaara, the girl and... Lee-senpai? What was he doing here. Well, those bushy eye brows were unmistakebly his. 

Sasuke tried to asses the situation. He could hear them conversing, but he couldn't disipher what were they exactly saying. As he was deciding whether to move closer or not, Gaara and Lee-senpai walked away together. Naruto and the girl stayed back, carrying a weird expression on their faces. The girl walked away from Naruto after telling him someone, to which he gave a thumbs up. Sasuke gulped as he walked towards Naruto.

"Hey" He tried to sound casual.

"It's not like that!" Naruto denied.

"Not like what?" Saskue asked innocently.

"Well you see, I'm supposed to keep it under th wraps, but I can trusst you with it I guess"

~Flashback~

Naruto was going about, doing his work when someone patted his back. He turned around and saw a famillair face. Kind of a pale face, with pastel blue eyes and black eyeliner, firely red hair and a friendly smile, at least an attempt. 

"Gaara!" Naruto greeted in surprise and joy.

"Naruto" Gaara acknowledged.

"What're you doing here all the way from Suna?"

"I'm actually moving to Konoha with Temari and Kankuro"

"Really? That's awesome!" Naruto was actually happy. Gaara was a pretty close friend to Naruto. They both shared simillar childhood experiences. Gaara wasn't the most sociable person but he is changing for the better. Naruto helped him a lot and he's so much better than how he used to he but he's still got rough edges.

"So are you going to join Konoha Academy?" Naruto asked.

"Mhm" 

"Cool!"

"Um," Gaara looked uneasy "I know you've helped me a lot these past few years, and I'm really grateful. I hope I'm not being too selfish right now but I have another favor to ask."

"You're not being selfish, Gaara. I'm always here to help ya' know. What can I do for ya?" 

"Uh" Gaara's face was red. It looked like he was blushing. "Promise you won't freak"

"I won't, believe it" Naruto flashed a fox-like grin.

"I actually like someone, and I was wondering if you could help me out" Gaara said shyly, which was something new and...interesting on his face.

"OH. MY. GOD." Naruto freaked, "WHO."

"Gaa! I told you not to freak!" Gaara was now a blushing mess, his face was as red as his hair.

"Wow," Naruto commented, "This is kinda fast paced, but nevertheless, I'll help you out too" 

"Wow indeed" Tenten whistled, "Naruto using words like 'Nevertheless'? The sky might fall"

"Believe it" Gaara added jokingly.

"You can see them walking together right now" Naruto pointed at the pair discreetly, Sasuke finding them almost immediately. It wasn't hard to spot a guy with red hair and another guy who wears orange leg warmers.

"Sure" Naruto smiled as Sasuke get go of his hand. Though Sasuke was feeling like was forgetting something. Ah. Those traitors. They're so gonna get it when Sasuke finds them.

~Chapter 11~

Sasuke scanned the crowd to find the traitors he calls friends.  He couldn't believe they ditched him, his plan was flawless (A/N: you really think so girlypop?), Naruto didn't even realize (A/N: oh he so did). Sasuke tapped his foot anxiously as he waited for a reply. He pulled his phone out of his pocket the moment he felt it's viberation.

"Where the fuck were you two?"  Kiba blushed a little and Shikamaru smirked. Oh. Great. More of his friends hiding shit from him. 

"Oh, nothing much. We were just making some...friendly visits" Shikamaru responded.

"It would've if you hadden't interfeared" Kiba growled. He usually didn't do that kinda stuff from what Sasuke had observed, so that ment Shikamaru had fucked up. 

"Oh please, I helped you-" Shikamaru started.

"Oh no you didn't" Kiba's words carried some sort of anger. Kiba was loud, that was a fact, but he never showed any signs of aggression. 

"Would someone like to take the initiative to tell me what exactly happened?" Sasuke asked.

"With pleasure-" Shikamaru was interuppted by Kiba.

"Nothing happened" Kiba said firmly. Shikamaru rolled his eyes. Sasuke glared at Kiba.

"You wanted to say something Sasuke?" Kiba asked, changing the subject. 

"Why yes, I indeed do have something to tell you" Sasuke started, "But before that, I have something I need to do" 

"And that is...?" Kiba asked as Sasuke landed punch on Kiba's jaw.

"Gaa!" Kiba yelped "What the fuck was that for?"

"For ditching me" and hiding shit from me.

"Shikamaru ditched you too!" Kiba complained.

"I just followed you to make sure that you were safe" Shikamaru looked up from his phone and replied.

"Yeah and you did  a fucking great job doing so" Kiba bit back. Sasuke felt a viberation from his pocket. He checked his phone and read his noticfication.

Sasuke looked at Shikamaru who just shrugged back at him. Saskue sighed and looked at Kiba.

"So, as I was saying. Gaara moved to Konoha" Sasuke expected them to be shocked.

"Oh, we knew that" Kiba said bluntly.

"Oh" Sasuke reacted "Then you must also know that he's transferring to our school right?"

"That," Kiba pointed out, "is something we didn't know" Kiba glanced at Shikamaru, who shrugged at him, not knowing anything.

"Oh and he also likes Lee" That gained their attention.

"Lee? As in like, Rock fucking Lee? Our senpai?" Kiba asked, wide-eyed. Even Shikamaru looked flabbgastered. 

"Yes Kiba," Sasuke replied "Rock fucking Lee our senpai"

"That," Shikamaru commented, "is an interesting choice. I was convinced he liked Naruto" 

"Huh?" Sasuke asked, his eyes darkening. "He liked who now?" 

"I'm not sure, I just assumed it. A lot has happened during your time in Tokyo ya know"

"Golly gee, I didn't realise" Sasuke said sarcastically.

"Is that all?" Kiba asked.

"Unfortunately" Sasuke said.

"Well, wadda we do now?"  Kiba asked.

"Check the stalls?" Sasuke suggested.

"Sleep?" Shikamara groaned.

"Anything but the things Shikamaru suggests" Kiba said pettily.

"Wow, really?" Shikamaru rolled his eyes. 

"Looks like y'all found the perfect spot to chill in this heat" A voice said. The trio turned towards the direction of the voice and saw Suigetsu walking towards them, his eyes red, swollen and puffy. The glasses he wore failed to hide any of that.

"Ouch" Kiba said, looking at Suigetsu.

"Damn you look like shit" Sasuke commented.

Suigetsu showed up in baggy navy blue jeans and a pastel blue sweatshirt, with half of his hair tied in a bun which had a sexy vibe to it.

"It can't be that bad" Suigetsu shrugged it off. "Anayways, why y'all standing here like some cult? How could you leave me out, huh?"

"We aint no cult, Suigetsu" Kiba replied.

"But it looks like one from affar" Shino came out of nowhere, making eveyone else flinch and yelp in suprise.

"What the fuck Shino?" Kiba asked, clenching his heart. 

"Nothing much," Shino said "just you fogetting about me, again"

"Oopsie daisy" Suigetsu said, earning a sharp glare from Kiba. 

"Well, the gangs all here" Shikamaru said after recovering.

"I'm pretty sure we're missing a few people" Suigetsu interjected.

"Whatever. Let's check some stalls or soemthing. I'm sure we'll find the others in no time"

"Naruto said he's getting off of work at 7" Sasuke added.

"Lets kill some time till then. After that we can go together and watch the fireworks"  Shino said.

"Sounds like a plan" Kiba agreed.

"Then let's go" Suigetsu said as the group left the comfort of the shade.

~~~Time skip~~~

It was 7:20 and Sasuke was getting anxious. 1) because Naruto hadn't shown up yet and 2) because he felt like he was forgeting something. 

"I feel like I'm forgetting something" Sasuke says aloud, attracting the attention of the group.

"I mean, if you forgot about it, it's probably not important" Suigetsu said, leaning onto Sasuke's shoulder. 

"But everytime Kiba forgets something, it's important, like me for example" Shino adds in. Kiba groans and hugs Shino. 

"Why do you keep bringing that up?" Sasuke could feel Shino's eyes rolling through his shades.

"Heya!" Sasuke heared a familliar voice. He turned around immedietly. Naruto. He was jogging towards them, manuvaering his way through the crowd.

"Fucking finally!" Kiba said with joy. 

"Took you long enough, dumbass" Sasuke greeted Naruto. In return Naruto just shot him his signature wide grin.

"I'm here now, aren't I?" Naruto shot his signature wide grin which made Sasuke's heart skip a beat for some reason. He'd seen it a million times but at night in the darkness along with the lighting of the stalls made it look so beautiful.  Sasuke zooned out a bit and came back when he heard Naruto's voice.

"Is anyone hungry? Because I sure am!" 

"To the dango stall!" Kiba pointed at a brightly lit stall.

"Come on!" Naruto smiled at Sasuke as he took his hand and ran behind the others. 

~~~time skip~~~

"It's almost time for the fireworks" Shino said.

"I still feel like I'm forgeting something"  Sasuke said. As if on que, Sasuke's phone viberates.

I'm near the food court

"Fuck" Sasuke mumbled under his breathe.

"I assume that's the thing you forgot" Shino asked.

"Bull's eye Shino" Sasuke said, sweating with guilt. How could he have forgotten his date with his girlfriend? 

"Who is it?" Kiba asked, chewing on his dango.

"My girlfriend" That earned a few grimances and oops from the gang.

"And the best boyfriend of the year award goes to...Uchiha Saskue!" Suigetsu announced.

"Why the fuck are you still here? Run goddamnit" Kiba said, shaking Sasuke.

"Yeah dumbass, go" Naruto said with a smile, but for the first time, Sasuke noticed a glint of sadness in Naruto's eyes. He didn't know what came over him as he grabbed Naruto's wrist and ran. Naruto yelped in suprise, feeling butterflies in his stomach  as everyone watched to show in silent shock.

"Dammit I always miss the drama" A voice brought the group back and they flinched.

"Sai you fucking ninja" Kiba cursed, panting. Sai just frowned, sad that he missed all the fun stuff.

~~~another time skip the last one i promise~~~

Sasuke stops infront of the food court, panting and letting go of Naruto's wrist.

"Sasuke, what in the world-" Naruto got interruped by Sasuke as he grabbed his wrist again and guides his way through the crowd. Naruto lets out a few, 'pardon me's, 'xcuse me's and 'sorry's as he bumps into a few people. He saw Akko standing near a potato twister stall. They walked towards her as she notices them and greets them with a smile.

"Sorry I'm late," Sasuke started, "kinda got lost" 

"Oh it's fine" Akko said immedietly, "What's more important is that you found your way" 

"I'll take my leave then" Naruto tried to escape, but Sasuke grip on his wrist was firm and he didn't let go. Naruto felt a blush creep onto his cheeks.

"Mind if Naruto tags along?" Sasuke asked.

"Oh not at all" Akko smiles sheepishly. "I was also wondering if were fine if my friends tags along as well" Akko signals someone who Naruto presumes is Akko's friend. A figure comes from the dark who Naruto unfortunately recognizes. 

"This is Hajime Kyoko, a really good friend of mine" Akko said. Naruto and Sasuke bow politely.

"I'm Uchiha Sasuke and this is my friend Uzumaki Naruto" Sasuke said.

"Oh I've already met Uzumaki-kun" Kyoko smiles. Saskue looks at Naruto who feigns ignorance. Naruto (unfortunately) learnt the hard way that the only way to deals with girls like her is to play dumb.

"I'm sorry but I don't quite remember meeting you" Naruto supressed his irritation.

"We met at your workplace the other day" Kyoko hinted. 

"Ah, is that so. I'm sorry. I don't recalling meeting you. A lot of people come so" Naruto crushed her hopes.

"Oh, that's alright" Kyoko rolls her eyes "We can always make memories together" She smiled. Naruto shifted unfortablely. Even Akko noticed it.

"The fireworks are 'bout to start" Sasuke pointed out. The four start heading to the location of the fireworks, not too far away from the food court. After reaching the area they found a spot to sit and watch the fire works.  Sasuke and Akko sat next to each other, Kyoko sitting next to her friend while Naruto sat next to Sasuke, away from the maroon-haired girl.

There were hushed whispers and loud chattering noises everywhere until someone pointed out the first firework. The whole area went dead silent, which was broken by the loud burst of the pink firecracker. It was then followed by many crackers of different colours. 

Naruto got a sudden urge turn around and look at his best friend. He didn't know why, it was this feeling that had been lingering from a long time that day. When he turned around, he found Sasuke already staring at him. The moment his clear as sky blue eyes met Sasuke dark obsedian orbs it felt like time had stopped itself.

Naruto was mesmerized by the reflection of the colourful fireworks on Sasuke's eyes. He looked down at Sasuke's lips and realised that Sasuke was smilling at him. He looked so fucking beautiful when he smiled

God, I wish this moment never ended, Naruto thought as he smiled back at Sasuke.

~Chapter 12~

-Third Person POV-

A week after the festival, news spread that Choji was finally coming back to Konoha after his 3 month vacation. Naruto and Ino decided to throw a party to celebrate Choji's return. Ino said that she and Sakura would make their relationship official during the party. Naruto of course supported their decision. The three of them made invites and gave them to their close circle.

"What's this?" Sasuke asked, looking at the red envelope sealed with a darker red swirl.

"It's an invite for this party me and Ino are hosting for Choji's return. Sakura helped with the decorations" Naruto said. "That seal is supposed to represent Choji's cheeks" He added.

"That's a cute detail" Naruto couldn't imagine Sasuke using the word 'cute'. It just sounded weird to him.

"That was Sakura's idea" Naruto replied.

"Hn" was all Sasuke said. Over the years since Naruto has known Sasuke, he can kinda differentiate the 'hn' noises Sasuke made. This one probably ment 'I see' or 'tastes like lasaniya'. You can never be too sure with Sasuke.

"You can also bring a plus one" Naruto added.

"Then can I bring my girlfriend?" Sasuke asked cautiously.

"Of course" Naruto replied with a smile. Sasuke was pissed, but didn't show it. He didn't know why, but it saddened him that Naruto didn't react the way he wanted him to, heck, he doesn't even know how he wants Naruto to react. What is even going on? He's been thinking about Naruto too much these days and he doesn't know what to do about it. He's life's been fucked ever since that night at the festival-

"--Earth to Sasuke!" This snapped Sasuke out of his weird, anxious and spiraling thoughts. 

"Yeah, I'm here. Sorry, I kinda just spaced out" 

"Uh-huh, I noticed. You sure you're good? You know I'm always there to help, right?" 

"Yeah yeah, I know" Sasuke replied in a flat tone. Naruto giggled, and Sasuke swore his heart skipped a beat. What the fuck. 

"Welp, I gotta go now. These invites aren't gonna send themselves, see ya!" And with that, Naruto waved Sasuke goodbye and dashed into the crowd. He didn't know why, but he missed Naruto already. He really had to get his life fucking sorted.

~~Time skip lmao~~

Sasuke was ready for the party. He wore a lavender shirt and left a few buttons open, as he didn't work out to perfect his body to cover it up after all, a pair of black pants from one of his suit sets, a thin silver neckace and some formal shoes. He wasn't a fan of rings, but didn't want to leave his hands bear either, so he decided to wear a black watch on his right arm and a thin string silver bracelet on his left arm. To top off the look, he styled his hair in his signature duckbutt look (which took a lot of hairgel). 

He was officially set for the party. Now he just had to go and pick up Akko. They decided to meet near the park which was close to the venue, AKA Ino's house. When he arrived, Akko was already there, waiting. She wore a white blouse with a black lether mini-skirt and some knee-length black boots. Her make-up was cute and simple, with some mascara, blush and lipgloss. 

"I hope I didn't make you wait for long" Sasuke said. Akko looked up from her phone and blushed.

"Oh, not at all. I just got here" 

"Shall we go?" Sasuke asked, offering his arm to Akko. She nods and smiles as she interlocks her arms around his. They set of towards Ino's house.

~~I should stop these time skips~~

They finally reached Ino's house. The party was happening at the upper floor of her family's flower shop. Sasuke always found it funny that Ino's family business was selling flowers when both her parents are trained in criminology and her father being the head of interrogation and all that.

"Are you sure this is the right place?" 

"Yup, we just gotta climb those stairs" Sasuke pointed at the stairs. He prompted Akko to come up with him.  They climbed the stairs and saw the party. There weren't many people, only close friends and such. There were around 11 people excuding him and Akko. There was Ino, Ninenine, Shikamaru, 2 Neji's for some reason, Rock Lee in his ugly green jump suit with eye-blinding orange leg warmers, Sai, Sakura, Shino was it? suigetsu, Kiba, the man of the hour Choji and...Naruto. 

He looked stunning with his signature untamed wild blond hair and clear sky blue eyes and a bright smile. He was wearing an orange sweatshirt with navy blue baggy jeans and black converses. Even though the outfit was simple, it suited Naruto so well. Sasuke felt his cheeks heat up.

"Hey" Sasuke greeted. 

"Sasuke! You made it!" Choji said in excitment. Choji was one of the very few people Sasuke genuinly liked in Konoha. He was kind, sweet, quick-witted when needed and most importantly minded his own business. He just to get bullied a lot for being "fat" but Shikamaru, Ino, Kiba and Naruto went around beating them up. After becoming friends with Naruo, Sasuke also joined them. But as they grew older, Choji started standing up for himself and beat the shit out of guys who called him fat. 

"Yeah. This is Akko, my girlfriend"  Akoo smiled and bowed. Choji reprocated it.

"Hi Akko-san! I'm Choji. Me and Sasuke have been friends for a while now. It's really nice to meet you!" 

"The pleasure is all mine" Akko said with a polite smile. Ino comes over to greet the two.

"You'r here!" Ino said. She was wearing a purple blouse with a white maxi skirt and purple eyeliner.

"Hn" 

"Ino! Hi! How are you?" Akko asked.

"I'm fine" Ino said.

"It's the first time I'm at your house" Akko pointed out.

"Oh really? Well, I hope you like it here" Ino said. 

"Yo" Naruto said as he pounced onto Sasuke's back.

"Hn" Sasuke acknoweldged. 

"How was your day?" He asked.

"Hn" 

"Really? That's cool. Mine was shit"

Akko stared at the duo talking, if you called that talking. It was mostly Naruto-san talking and Sasuke-san saying 'Hn'. No one exept Naruto-san apparently knew what that ment.

"It's almost as if they can read each others mind, right?" Kiba asked suddenly, making Akko flinch.

"Sorry if I scared you" Kiba backed up.

"Oh, Akko! Hey. Sorry I didn't see you there. How are you?" Naruto asked her with such a warm smile it made Akko's heart melt.

"I-I'm fine!" She stuttered. "What about you?" What was this warm, fuzzy feeling in her heart?

~Chapter 13~

“Now that the gang’s all here, Sakura and I have something to announce,” Ino said, gaining everyone’s attention.

“Wassup?” Kiba asked. Ino looked nervous, which was rare for her. Naruto gave her a quick thumbs up and mouthed: you got this! Ino took a deep breath.

“Sakura and I started going out,” She finally announced, holding Sakura’s hand. No one spoke. You could hear a pin drop. 

“Aha!” Kiba exclaimed, breaking the silence, “I knew it!”

“What?” Ino asked.

“A few days ago,” Kiba explained, eyeing Sasuke, Shikamaru and Suigetsu, “I told a certain group of people you might like girls, not in a bad way, but in a I-think-my-friend-likes-girls-and-I-wanna-be-there-for-her way. But somebody refused the idea and I just wanted them to remember what I said all those days ago,” 

“This wasn’t what you meant!” Shikamaru countered.

“It was what I was going to say before I was brutally interrupted!” Kiba bit back.

“I mean, it was kinda obvious,” Naruto joined the conversation.

“Was it though?” Shikamaru asked.

“Yes it was,” Choji said. 

“Well I actually thought my father would bail me out and spill the beans to your father when they went out for drinks but I guess he’s not that bad,” Ino shrugged.  

“Aren't you too harsh on him?” Choji asked.

“I think I'm treating him just fine,” Ino replied.

“What?” Shikamaru whispered to himself, a mixture of shock, awe and bewilderment on his face. It was almost as if he were still sinking in Ino’s coming out.

After the Ino-Sakura dating thing, everything settled down. Most of the guys at the party were catching up with the man of the hour, Choji. Sasuke wanted to too, contrary to popular belief, but unfortunately he had to catch up with someone else. A certain pink-haired girl with pale green eyes who’s apparently a lesbian now. 

Don't get him wrong, Sasuke is not a homophobic person. He didn't care about anyone's sexual orientation, but he would've preferred if Sakura told him about her relationship with Ino.

Ino wasn't the friendliest person to mingle with, again contrary to popular belief. Maybe she just didn't like Sasuke, and honestly, he didn't know why. Sasuke never had a proper conversation with her and every time he tried, it didn't end well. Since Sasuke didn't know anything about her and actually cares about his best friend Sakura, he wanted to hear the whole story from her.

He would walk up to Sakura and talk to her  but his only problem is Ino who has been hovering around Sakura’s side the entire time and occasionally glaring daggers at Sasuke as if to say: Stay the fuck away from my girlfriend.

“What's wrong Sasuke-kun?” Akko asked from behind. Sasuke flinched. He didn't notice her coming towards him at all.

“Ah, nothing much,” Sasuke said. He lowkey didn't want to tell Akko about this right now. Sure, they're dating and all, but Sasuke never trusted the girls he dated, no offence. Because most of them were there for his looks or money, Sasuke didn't really trust them or rather, himself to open up to them. He would usually talk to Naruto, but he's obviously avoiding him. As much as Sasuke wants to drag him by the wrist, pin him against the wall and interrogate him (again), he decided to give Naruto some space.

“From the way you're looking at Sakura-san, I can tell you wanna talk. Kiba-san told Sakura-san and you are good friends and from the expression on your face when they announced they were official, I could tell you didn't know about it,” Akko said with a small smile. 

“If only someone were there to distract Ino-san,” Akko said, making an innocent face.

“I can’t ask you to do that,” Sasuke said. Even though Sasuke had a reputation of being a playboy or whatever, he couldn’t ask his girlfriend to distract someone only to talk to another girl.

“Sasuke-kun, I know you and Sakura-san are just friends, and she’s obviously dating Ino-san. If I were in your position, I’d feel the same way. And besides, I’m curious about them too,” Akko said. Sasuke was so relieved he could kiss her. 

“Thank you so much Akko, truly,” Sasuke said. Him thanking anyone was probably unheard of. He rarely thanked people because well, he never trusted people enough to ask help from them. 

“No problem,” Akko winked as she made her way towards an unsuspecting Ino. While Akko pulled Ino aside and distracted her, Sasuke took this as his chance to pull Sakura aside. 

“What the-” Pale green eyes met dark ones as Sakura got dragged away to the seating area in the corner of the floor. 

“We need to talk,” Sasuke said, breaking the silence.

“Okay,” Sakura said, panting a little, “Clearly, yes, I can see that, but did you have to be this dramatic about it?”

“Dramatic?” Sasuke asked, sounding a little too dramatic for his liking, “This is the only way I can talk to you without being unalived by your girlfriend!”

“Hey!” Sakura said, “She’s not that bad!”

“Not that bad?” Sasuke asked, “Heck, I didn’t even know you liked girls!” 

“Well you didn’t ask!” Sakura replied back.

“How the fuck was I supposed to know?! I can’t read your mind!” Sasuke yelled.

“Well, you don’t tell me who you date either!” Sakura yelled back.

“I thought I was your best friend, Sakura,” Sasuke said, sounding more fragile than he had hoped. Sakura’s expression softened.

“Let’s sit down first,” Sakura suggested and they sat on the couch in the sitting area.

“Look, I know I’m dating someone right now, but it’s probably a fling, and not worth talking about. But you, Sakura, you’re dating fucking Yamanaka Ino, like what the fuck, how did this even happen?” 

“Probably a fling?” Sakura raised her brow.

“Yeah, probably,” Sasuke said, “But that's not important! How did you even end up dating Ino?”

“Well, I dunno, it just happened,” Sakura shrugged. Sasuke raised his brow at her. After rolling her eyes, she started explaining everything. From the small looks they started giving each other after Sakura got over her crush on Sasuke (it was a painful time for Sasuke, but he’s glad it worked out in the end) to dating her.

“That’s a pretty simple story,” Sasuke said.

“Simple story? Man, I just told you the gist of it,” Sakura then proceeded to fill Sasuke with the details. She told him about the whole misunderstanding with Ino, mostly because of Karin.

“Well then why did you spend so much time with Karin?” Sasuke asked.

“Because I wanted to get that over with as soon as possible, and even if Karin is kinda dumb, she’s not ignorant. She would defo see what was happening between me and Ino, and I didn’t want that to happen. She hates me already and I don’t want her to spread weird shit around school,”

“Huh, makes sense,” Sasuke said, “So did Naruto know about all of this or?” 

“He does,” Sakura said, shrugging.

“Oh, so you tell Naruto but not me?” Sasuke bit back.

“Hey, it’s not like that!” Sakura defended immediately, “I never told him anything, but Ino probably did,”

“Since when were Naruto and Ino this close?” Sasuke asked, his mind disturbed. Naruto always hung out with Sasuke in the past, from as long as he could remember. Sure, he did hang out with Shikamaru and the other guys but Ino, really? Sasuke never heard Naruto talking about her, like at all, heck he’d never even seen them together and now suddenly besties apparently?

“Hmm, I’m not really sure,” Sakura admitted, “but I think they got close because of Shikamaru. I mean, he is their mutual friend after all,” It still didn’t make sense to Sasuke.

“It does make sense, if you think about it,” A new voice said, making Sasuke flinch. He turned around to find that insufferable Sai guy, sitting casually on one of the couches, sipping his drink with a straw.

“What the fuck, how long have you been here?” Sasuke screeched.

“The whole time,” Sai said casually. 

“Why were you even eavesdropping on our conversation??”Sasuke asked, arching a brow.

“I wasn’t eavesdropping on your conversation, I was sitting here first actually,” 

“You’re joking,”

“I’m not,” Sai said calmly. Sasuke turned to Sakura trying to convey: Was he really here this whole time?

“Yes,”Sakura sighed.

“Well then why didn’t you say anything?” Sasuke asked, a little freaked out.

“Well you didn’t say anything so I thought you didn’t mind!” Sakura jumped to her defence.

“Doesn’t matter,” Sasuke sighed, rubbing his temples. He never really understood the deal with Sai. In the two years he was away from Konoha, his friends seemed to have replaced him with someone else, another socially awkward good-looking emo boy.

His skin so pale it was basically blue, ebony hair short and straight, black eyes lifeless and an oval face emotionless. That was how Sasuke would describe him. The guy barely makes a sound when he moves around and his presence is almost zero.

“Well,” Sakura starts, “If you’re done interrogating me about my love life, let’s talk about yours,”

“What about it?” Sasuke asked.

“How did you and Akko get together anyway?” Sakura asked while Sai just stared at him.

“Dunno, it just happened. She asked me out and I was like sure why not,” 

“God,” Sakura said, “Why the fuck did I even have a crush on you?” 

“ Excuse me? ” Sasuke asked, faking the offensive tone.

“Get over it,” Sakura rolled her eyes,  “Why Akko though? She’s not even your type,”

“I don’t have a type,” Sasuke huffed. Sakura and Sai stared at him.

“Ohohohohoho, you do have a type,” Sakura boldly stated, “Has it ever occurred to you that the happiest you’ve been in a relationship is when the other person is a dumb blonde with blue eyes?”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Sasuke denied.

“Oh please,” Sai said, “I’m basically emotionless and read books on emotional intelligence and how to make friends and even I know what Sakura is trying to imply here,” 

“Like I said, no idea what you’re talking about,” Sasuke said which made Sakura’s eyebrow twitch. 

“How about you look a little over there,” Sakura said, as she placed her hand on Sasuke’s chin and turned his head to his right. He could see Naruto in a distance, talking to some other people, god knows who. Sasuke couldn’t be bothered to try to figure out who they were. His eyes were fixed on Naruto. The way he moved, his body language, his hair, his smile and the way his skin glowed in the colourful light. Just looking at him made Sasuke’s face flush, his stomach filled with butterflies and his heart doing little somersaults. 

Fuck, Sasuke thought, Maybe I do have a type.
