My brother and I weren't surprised when Sophie caught up to us on our way to the Leapmaster to let us know that she was coming home with us. "I'd figured you had a lot to talk to my dad about," My brother said. He glanced at me. "Yeah, how are you doing?" I asked. I was glad to hear that she was fine. My brother pulled Sophie to a quiet corner. "Sophie, my dad told me all about Grady and Edaline. I'm really sorry". I heard myself say genuinely, "Me too" I then reached out my hand and took her hand. "Is there anything we can do?" Sophie looked away saying that she was fine but it didn't sound genuine. She then had a tear come out and I gave hetpr a hug while my brother draped an arm around her. "It's going to be ok. Really," I whispered. Sophie said she didn't want to talk about it and we understood. "I know that's why I didn't say anything about it yesterday" I said. She was shocked to know that we knew that for a complete day. I nodded, "My dad told us a couple of days ago, because he and mom are appkying as replacement guardians" Sophie was even more shocked. I then remembered and said what I was remembering of how the Council had to approve. She then asked if we were ok with it. "Are you kidding? Then I wouldn't be the only girl anymore. You have no idea what it's like having two brothers" I said. She then looked at my brother which was slightly odd. I hooked an arm through hers and led us to the Leapmaster. "See? Everything will be ok" We then ate dinner then Sophie privately talked to our dad while my mom and I tried to talk about something that all of us including Fitz would like instead of just dresses. We then did our homework and went to bed.
