Summary
Daenerys Targaryen is the Crown Princess of the Seven Kingdoms and the only surviving child of King Aerys the II Targaryen and his wife, Queen Rhaella. The realm is recovering from the war of the ninepenny kings and Tywin Lannister keeps a close eye on the running of the kingdom. As her father's heir, Daenerys is anxious, both to marry and to rein in her father's increasingly infuriating decisions as she comes of age. With most of the suitable men of the kingdom either betrothed or unavailable and a match with Dorne denied, Daenerys must defend herself against plots for her hand and other schemes by both her family's allies and enemies.
For there are men who would do terrible things for the hand of the Silver Princess.

(Is be very interested in an AU where Rhaella & her babe do NOT survive the birthing bed and everyone else is like, "oh no! That's impossible! The prophecy!! " And a few are like, "welp, maybe she WAS too young to be forced to bear children just yet. "
