A few hours later, during dinner, Damian looked over the table. Richard, Drake, Brown, Thomas, Todd, Cain, and Father were all in attendance.“Father, Are we Furries?”
You would have assumed that Damian had attempted to stab Drake again for the chaos that erupted at the table.
Brown threw back her head to cackle so violently that she tipped her chair and fell down. Thomas decided to breathe in his drink and was asphyxiating on his water. Todd was shaking and nearly in tears from laughing so hard. Cain had ducked her head into Todds’ shoulder to hide her expression, but the shaking shoulders indicated she was also laughing. Richard’s arms were flailing as he tried to distract and deflect the conversation while simultaneously hitting Thomas on the back to dislodge his drink. Drake was picking Brown off of the floor only to be dragged back down as she continued to howl and cackle with hysteric humor.
Father had frozen in his seat at the head of the table. He seemed to be going into some form of a shock for some reason.
“Father, What is a Furry?”
