Chapter Text
And I'm back with the next chapter of Meta-Verse. It's New Year's Eve, but I wanna post a Christmas chapter before this month ends, and this is the month to do it. Let's hop on Santa's sled and get this party started, shall we?

Meta-Verse Department Agency
It was a wonderful morning as the Agents are walking from classroom to classroom, setting up for a certain type of holiday.
"So, what do you think?" Konata Izumi asked.
Konata and Tsumiki Miniwa were walking down the halls.
"Seems odd enough." Tsumiki said.
"Come on. New scenario on an RPG game. Love it."
"Yeah, but it's nothing to brag about."
"You don't get the idea."
"I don't."
"Just try to be happy, okay?"
"I got annoyed by Mayoi again."
"Oh, she teased you again?"
"Shut up."
"Honestly, look at all these decorations."
"Yeah, they look neat and all."
"Doesn't it remind you of something?"
"No. What?"
"Think in the back of your mind."
Tsumiki thought, but couldn't get it. "I don't know."
Raggedy Ann sets up a wreath on one of the windows.
"Now you remember?" Konata asked.
Tsumiki thinks more, then got it. "It's Christmas, isn't it?

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams
It's the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you'll be of good cheer
It's the most wonderful time of the year
"It Christmastime in the Meta-Verse Department Agency. December 25th. That's right. We got set up for the whole thing and it really coming along pretty well." Mio Naganohara narrates.
Its the hap-happest season of all
With those holiday greetings
And gay happy meetings when friends come to call

"So what are you doing for Christmas?" Mio asked.
Mio and Ichigo Hoshimiya are in the hallway.
"I've been thinking of putting on a Christmas performance with my friends." Ichigo said.
"In where?" Mio asked.
"Some group known as the iDOLMASTER are starting a live stage in Tokyo."
"Well that's neat. Hope it goes well."
"Thanks."
"I'm still trying to figure out what to do at Christmas myself."
"I'm sure you'll come up with something."
"Yeah. Something that isn't wasteful."
There be parties for hosting
Marshmallows are toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases
Long long ago
We see a male walking into the cafeteria, seeing loads of Christmas traditional stuff going on.
This male has brown hair, wears glasses and wears a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. This is Lester the Unlikely.
"Oh, Lester." Mai the Immortal Maid came to him. "How's it going?"
"Tsukuru is at it again." Lester said.
"Tsukuru Kagaku? What is she doing?"
"She blew up my magazine with one of her experiments. Isn't that crazy?"
"Yikes. I'm sorry for your magazine."
"It's fine. I might get a new one anyway."
"Wanna try my turkey?" Mai asked.
"Sure." Lester goes with Mai.

There be much mistletoing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near

In the hallway, we see Raggedy Ann putting more wreaths onto the window, but hears a camera snap. She turns around and sees a female with a camera.
This female has short brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a white long-sleeve shirt, brown skirt, black thigh-high socks and black dress shoes. This is Fuu Sawatari.
"Did you just took a picture?" Ann asked.
"What else, silly?" Fuu asked.
"Boy. I didn't know how much your photography is."
"It's good. I always love photography."
"I see. There's more of these wreaths to go, but honestly, I don't know where to put the rest of them."
"I see. Maybe over there." Fuu pointed at the window at the end of the hall.
"Thanks." Ann extends her red yarn hair and drops down slowly, then leaves.
"No problem." Fuu leaves the halls.

We then see Tomoko Kuroki and Revy sitting in front of the window in an empty room.
"Do you think it's worth it?" Tomoko asked.
"Christmas means nothing to me." Revy said.
"Your holiday spirit isn't there, is it?"
"No. I don't celebrate holidays. I get to work."
"You're harsh."
"Am I?"
"You are."
"Well you sure have a lot of heart."
"I kind of do, kind of don't."
"Whatever."
They just looked at the window more.

Paiman is outside of the Agency, in the snow. He is wearing a pink hat, light blue earmuffs, pink scarf and pink gloves. "You found the perfect tree?"
Katy Caterpillar crawled to Paiman. She is wearing a red hat, blue scarf and red gloves. "Think so."
"Then let's go in." Paiman said.
They returned to the Agency.

"This will be the first time we celebrated Christmas in all these years." Katy narrates.
Fuu walks into the photography room and sees a female and a man.
The female has shoulder-length gray hair that curls at the ends and greenish-black eyes. She wears a light-brown sleeveless sweater over a white t-shirt, black skirt, gray almost-to-the-knee socks and pink sneakers. This is Kanae Mitani.
The man has short darkish-gray hair and pitch-dark eyes and wears glasses. He wears a brown suit over a white dress shirt, brown trousers and black shoes. This is Nozomu Natsume.
"So, did you took any good pictures?" Nozomu asked.
"Yep. This is gonna be the best Christmas there is yet." Fuu said.
"I see. Just don't overdo it." Nozomu said.
"Yes sir." Fuu said.
Kanae came to her. "Had you seen Chaba here lately?"
"She said she has gone back to Hokkaido and stayed there for Christmas." Fuu said.
"Is she okay?" Kanae asked.
"I'm sure she'll be fine. I hope." Fuu looks worried herself.
"Hmm." Kanae said.
Meanwhile, we see Mister Mosquito trying to make Christmas cards for everyone, but seems to be screwing up. "Dammit. Where's my other stuff?"
"Your markers?" Gokicha came to him.
"Gokicha." Mosquito said.
Gokicha gave Mosquito the markers.
"Thanks."
"Chaba isn't here."
"How come?"
"I don't know. She said she stayed in Hokkaido for Christmas. I don't know if she has any friends there or not."
"Hopefully she's okay."
"That's what I'm hoping for."
"Hmm." Mosquito continues with the cards.
Yoshika Miyafuji came to the two insects and crouches down. "Hey you two."
"Oh, Yoshika. I am still working on it." Mosquito said.
"Some other are making some as well." Yoshika said.
"Yeah, I knew that." Mosquito breaks the pencil led. "Crap."
"So, what's up?" Gokicha asked.
"I heard that someone just came in." Yoshika said.
Mosquito looks up from his cards. "Who?"
"Hamtaro's owner." Yoshika said.
Mosquito and Gokicha looked at each other. "Laura?"
Meanwhile, everyone is talking all of a sudden.
"What's with all the racket?" Katy said.
"I have no idea." Hamtaro said.
"Who's that?" Katy pointed at the girl coming in.
She is walking through the people that are talking.
"It's Laura." Hamtaro said.
Break
Laura, her full name is Laura Haruna, has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, red vest, blue skirt, white socks and brown shoes.
"Laura Haruna. Your owner. Seem to be a nice girl. Her grades are very well. Was shy once, but after getting to know people, her shyness faded off. And has an attachment for you, as you do over her." Katy said.
"That's Laura alright. I might as well go see her." Hamtaro said.
"Not stopping you there."
Hamtaro runs off to see Laura, passing people. "Laura!"
Laura heard something and saw Hamtaro running up to her. "Hamtaro!" She picked him up and cuddled him. "Where had you been? I was so worried about you."
"Sorry about that." Hamtaro said.
Laura was in shock. "Didn't know you can speak. When did you first did that?"
"Ever since you're not around." A girl came to them.
This girl has lightly curled blonde hair that is worn in pigtails, with one held by a hair ornament and bright blue eyes. She wears a pink long-sleeve cardigan, white shirt, blue skirt, white thigh-high socks and black Mary Jane shoes. This is Alice Cartelet.
"Oh, hello. And who might you be?" Laura said.
"I'm Alice. Alice Cartelet."
"I'm Laura. Laura Haruna. So you're a fan of hamsters then?"
"Oh no not me. I don't have an interest in them, even though they're cute."
"I see."
"Laura Haruna." Katy crawled to them. "Welcome to the Meta-Verse Department Agency."
"A talking caterpillar? Strange." Laura said.
"She's my teacher." Hamtaro said.
"Say what now?" Laura asked.
"I am teacher of Class D, and yes, I am Hamtaro's teacher." Katy said.
"Wow. How hard are your lessons?" Laura asked.
"As hard as I can make them. I can make them easy as well." Katy said.
"She's very nice." Alice said.
"Mind if I enroll?" Laura asked.
"Why of course. Anytime." Katy said.
"Thanks." Laura said.
"I love having you in class." Hamtaro said.
"We'll get to see each other again." Laura said.
"I'm assuming you're Hamtaro's owner." Konata came to them.
"Yes. That's me." Laura said.
"I'm Konata. Konata Izumi. I'm almost most talked about here."
"Lie." Katy said.
"Oh shut up." Konata said.
"Where's Tsumiki?" Katy asked.
"She just threw up." Konata said.
"She what?" Katy asked.
Tsumiki was in the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet. "I didn't mean to eat that pepper-spiced turkey. My stomach is throbbing." She put her hand on her mouth, then release it and vomits again.
"Oh boy. What did she do?" Katy asked.
"She eaten the pepper-spiced turkey." Konata said.
"That damned turkey was a nightmare. I vomited like 12 times, and dear God I didn't thought it was that bad." Ted passes by.
"Who was that?" Laura asked.
"The adult, rude and cussable teddy bear, Ted." Alice said.
"How old is he?" Laura asked.
"He is about 40 years old." Alice said.
"40?" Laura is shocked.
"Yep. 40." Hamtaro said.
"As shocking as that is, glad to see you, Laura." Konata said.
"Nice to meet you too, Konata." Laura said.
Meanwhile, Doremi Harukaze, Aiko Senoo, Hazuki Fujiwara and Sackboy were in the training room, where they see two new Witchlings coming to them.
The first one has violet hair that is about chest-length that she wears loose with a small side tall held by a mint green scrunchie and violet eyes. She wears a mint green t-shirt, mauve dress, amethyst leggings and yellow sneakers. This is Onpu Segawa.
The second one has dark pink hair that sticks up in the shape of wings on top of her head, and has short puffed segments at the bottom of her head and dark pink eyes. She wears a pale pink t-shirt, raspberry skirt, pale pink socks and cyan flats. This is Pop Harukaze, sister of Doremi Harukaze.
The third one has thick blonde hair in low pigtails with a curl inward at the end tied by peach scrunchies, each with a small white wing on it and brown eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, blue shorts and orange sneakers. This is Hana.
"Alright. Seems like she has given the orders to me. I'm not gonna be rough on you six today. You get the day off. Feel free to do whatever you like. Just don't get into arguments. All I'm saying." Sackboy said.
"Yes, sir." Onpu saluted.
"Any questions, let me know. I'll get myself to do a little decorating on the tree a bit." Sackboy leaves the training room.
"So, how's it going, big sis?" Pop asked.
"Well, I guess." Doremi said.
"What should we do now?" Hana asked.
"I did tell Katy-sensei that I would help her with carrying that tree in here." Hazuki said.
"You meaning the little caterpillar? Yeah, I saw her around." Onpu said.
"Want me to help?" Hana asked.
"That would be best." Hazuki said.
"Then let's go get the tree." Hana said.
Hauzki and Hana both left the room.
"Four of us now." Onpu said.
"You saluted so dearly." Aiko said.
"Better watch it." Onpu said.
Aiko looks disgusted.
"He said not to get into an argument." Doremi said.
Aiko sighed. "She's right."
Meanwhile, Hazuki and Hana are outside. Katy came to them.
"Oh, new friend?" Katy asked.
"I'm Hana."
"Katy. Katy Caterpillar."
Hana crouched down and gives her her pointer finger, and Katy shook her finger.
"Where is the tree exactly?" Hazuki asked.
"It's at least 3 miles from here." Katy said.
Hazuki grabs her orange coat and puts it on. Hana grabs her light yellow jacket and puts it on.
"Ready?" Katy asked.
They both nodded.
Meanwhile, Mio and Ichigo meets up with the members of iDOLMASTER.
The first girl has reddish-brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a white shirt, red long-sleeve jacket, black skirt and tan-colored boots. This is Haruka Amami.
The second girl has blue hair and brown eyes. She wears a light blue shirt, blue long-sleeve jacket, blue skirt, black stockings and black shoes. This is Chihaya Kisaragi.
The third girl has neck-length super-straight light brown hair and light brown eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, light green skirt, white almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Yukiho Hagiwara.
The fourth girl has brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a white shirt with orange long sleeves, blue overall shorts, white almost-to-the-knee socks and orange sneakers. This is Yayoi Takatsuki.
The fifth girl has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a bluish-green dress, black long-sleeve jacket, light blue jeans and brown slippers. This is Ritsuko Akizuki.
The sixth girl has purplish-blue hair and brown eyes. She wears a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and brown boots. This is Azusa Miura.
The seventh girl has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a white sleeveless shirt, pink jean overalls and pink shoes. This is Iori Minase.
The eighth girl has black hair and brown eyes. She wears a black and white striped sleeveless shirt, black jacket, brown jean shorts and black and orange shoes. This is Makoto Kikuchi.
The ninth girl has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a yellow t-shirt, brown shorts, yellow almost-to-the-knee socks and pink sneakers. This is Ami Futami.
The tenth girl has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a light yellow sleeveless shirt, blue short-sleeve jacket, purple skirt, yellow almost-to-the-knee socks and pink sneakers. This is Mami Futami.
"So these are the members of iDOLMASTER. You know, I'm quite impressed." Mio said.
"We're giving it our all." Haruka said.
"I hear that we might audition for Prism Stone soon." Iori said.
"Prism Stone?" Mio asked.
"Prism Stone is a place for idols. Uh huh." Mami said.
"Sounds neat. I can't wait to do that." Ichigo said.
"It'll be fun, I'm sure of it." Haruka said.
Iori sees something in her overall pocket. She grabs it and saw it was the pink snail. "What in the world? How did you got in there?"
The snail just smiled.
"That's creepy." Iori said.
"Is that a bug? Let me look." Ami took the snail from Iori and looks at him. "Great. Idol career ruined."
"Not quite. I don't think that snail would ruin someone's career." Ichigo said.
"What do you mean?" Ami asked.
"I mean, a caterpillar named Katy is wanting me to continue my idol dreams, and so I got myself the courage to do so." Ichigo said.
"Katy, huh? I would like to meet this, Katy." Ami said.
"I think she has gone to get the tree that Paiman was talking about." Mio said.
"What tree?" Ami asked.
"Christmas tree." Ichigo said.
"Oh yeah, I did ran into that little caterpillar, although I almost stepped on her." Iori said.
"She doesn't like that at times." Ichigo said.
"I can believe it." Mio said.
"So, who's snail is this?" Mami asked.
"That's mines." Tickety Tock came and grabs the snail. "There you are. Been looking for you."
The iDOLMASTER members are shocked of a talking clock.
"That's freaky." Mami said.
They nodded.
"I'm not that bad." Tickety said.
"You look cute." Haruka said.
"Hey thanks. I appreciate it." Tickety leaves the room, but remembered something. "Oh, Mio. Kyubey is gonna send you that report from that last mission you took."
"Ah, great. Thanks. Been wanting to know on that." Mio said.
"No problem." Tickety then left the room.
"So, wanna go to Tokyo?" Iori asked.
"Yep. I'm ready." Ichigo said.
"Have fun." Mio leaves the room.
"She isn't coming?" Yukiho asked.
"No. Apparently she's wanting to do something else." Ichigo said.
"Oh, alright." Haruka said.
"Let's give it our all!" Yayoi said.
"Yeah!" Everyone said.
Meanwhile, in the cafeteria, we see Lester walking around, but then sees Tsukuru Kagaku, then runs for it, but collides into Tomoko. They fallen to the floor.
"That was my bad." Lester said.
"What the hell did you think you were doing?" Tomoko asked.
"I saw Tsukuru, and I ran for it!" Lester said.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year." Sheldon Cooper passes by while singing the title.
"Okay, listen. Go punch Tsukuru in the face if you do not like her that much." Tomoko said.
"I'm a wimp!" Lester said.
"Then pussy up!"
"I can't do that!"
"You're a moron!"
"Screw you!"
Hana, Hazuki and Katy got back from cutting the tree. They took it inside the Agency.
Paiman came to them. "Well, you did yourself a good one."
"That was hard!" Hazuki said.
"It was worth it." Hana said.
"At least one of you is happy about helping me out." Katy said.
"Was I complaining?" Hazuki asked.
"Almost a lot." Katy said.
"Geez." Hazuki said.
"So, where do we put it?" Paiman asked.
"Somewhere where there isn't stuff blocking the way." Katy said.
"And that are in the way." Paiman said.
"Yeah." Katy said.
"I think I know of someplace." Paiman said.
They took it to a garage, where it's empty.
"Watch." Hana used her magic to make every ornament appear on the tree, including the star.
"Whippity Pow." Katy said.
"That kind of ruined the purpose." Paiman said.
"No it did not. I made it where it can't be that hard." Hana said.
"You're a Witchling, but you know this is call cheating, right?" Paiman said.
"Calm down, Paiman. It's good. Just leave it be." Katy said.
Paiman sighed. "Fine."
Some Agents has gone to see the tree.
"That is pretty." Blue barked.
"It is." Campe said.
"It looks a lot like Christmas now." Silvia Maruyama yawned. "I'm tired."
"You did something all day?" Kon came to Silvia.
"Sort of."
"I see."
"Why aren't with Konata?"
"I decided to give myself a break from watching over my master. Seeing how things are here."
"I see."
"Yeah."
"Oh wow." Gokicha goes to the tree.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Katy asked.
Gokicha nodded.
"Let's plan another one sometime." Mosquito said.
"We will." Katy said.
"Chapter's almost over. You know what comes next." Ann said to...us.
"Merry Christmas. And a Happy New Year." Paiman said.
They all just looked at the tree.
Katy turns to us. "Have a nice day." She winked.
