   "He’d been used to the quiet ever since Art, the Artilleryman, fellow survivor, had moved in; ever since he went out and brought him in, somewhere he knew he’d be safe, and he had been happy to give him the space he needed. After all, it was better than the bunker that he found Art in. But it didn’t stop him from worrying so much about him."
