Chapter Text

“I was wondering who they belonged to,” Ock smirked, shooting out an arm at the Fea, Who dodged, then with a nasty grin, lunging toward Maleficent and said, “You’d be happy to know that the older of the two boys, made a great pet. 
It’s a pity the boy you just saved broke him from my control, still, it's nice to for confirmation that both boys belong to the same person.” 
 
From around the Fea Queen appeared a cloud of purple smoke, as she seethed, her eyes glowing bright green. 

“Hades!,” Maleficent called out to her husband, “the children!” 

“Got Them!” Hades Replied, running over to the dazed and unconscious heroes, with Elsa, Jafar, Hook, Ben, Mal, and Uma following behind him. Throwing the unconscious heroes over their shoulders, they pulled the dazed heroes after them and to the sidelines. 

As they pulled the last hero to the side, Maleficent shifted into her dragon form, flying straight for the scattering villains. 

“I was going to say I’m ok to fight, but um……. I think I’m ok.” Dagger mumbled, staring at Maleficent with wide eyes. 

“Yeah Um, I’m with Dagger,” Miles said, 

“You guys ok?” Uma Asked bending down to the unmasked heroes. “You know with,” she gestured to their faces and then their masks they’d grabbed when moving. 

‘To be honest, with how the last few months have been, it’s not even surprising.” Ava replied with a tired smile, looking concerned at their unconscious teammates.  

“I’m fine Tiger, look worried at someone else,” Peter grumbled from where he was placed against a wall, having woken up.  

“I’m worried about the likely chance you're going to end up with brain damage, dummy.” 

“If that was gonna happen, it would have happened when that building fell on him.” Felicia Snarked, Leaning against Peter. 

“Or when Scarlet had to save him after he fell from Hydra Island… and almost drowned,” Amadeus added, glancing down, checking on the Iron Spider Suit. 

 “Or when he went off on his own and got kidnapped by Ock for the first time and almost drowned….. The First time,” Luke said, checking on the other heroes. 

“Or when he fought my goblin for the first time and almost died in a cemetery.” Miles continued 

“Excuse me, I’d never fought a goblin who could throw fire,” Peter cut in trying to defend himself, “And I’d been fighting MY goblin for like Four Universes straight at that point!” 

“Please tell me that's it for times you’ve almost died?!?” Uma Asked, Mal and Hades listening in on the conversation, looking panicked. 

“HA. nope,” Peter replied, moving to slam his head on the wall, when Luke put his hand in the way. 

Hades sighed, walked over kneeling in front of Peter and Ben, Tussling the former's hair, he sighed and said, 

 “Kid, your mom is going to go on a murdering spree.” 

“My mom. I - I don’t understand,” Peter replied, glancing at his friend and then at the older man, “ I was kidnapped. I don't know who my parents are or where my brother is. Hydra they; they wiped my memory.”

“They took you both from us, and even your magic and memory but I know my kids, my sons, when I see them. And so does your mother,” Hades explained softly, reaching out to both Peter and Ben, then glancing behind them where Maleficent was chasing off the sinister six. Mal stepping forward, placed a hand on her father's shoulder. 
Hades looked over at Ben first and began, “You’ve had that scar since you were Five. You and Harry Hook got your hands on some daggers and were using them. Harry freaked out when you got cut,” 

“You,” Hades continued looking toward Peter, “were constantly trying to learn new things, whenever a new book came on the barge you were always the first one at it.” 

“We were inseparable.”Mal breathed, looking the other teens in the eyes, “ We. We never stopped hoping we’d find you.”

“how; how do we know you're telling the truth?” Ben asked, his eyes holding a guarded look to them. 

As they spoke an armored woman approached, she was covered from head to toe. A black hooded cloak, with a short armored dress of black and deep purple, long black boots, and arm guards, a black full bodysuit under it all, and a black face shield covering up her whole face but her eyes, which covered the same deep purple colored see-through glass. For weapons, she had a black bow and arrow set, daggers and two sai’s, and a purple wand. 

“I think I can help with that.” The woman said, approaching the group. 

“Mystic.” Peter said, standing from his place, “Great to see you again.”
“You can check if they’re family Mystic?” Felicia asked the other woman,

“I can.” The woman, Mystic replied, then to the others she explained. “ I’m a wizard.” 

‘That explains a lot.” Hades Commented, standing up to greet her. 

“Cool, can someone share the knowledge?” Miles asked, confused 

“The reason she’s covered up head to toe is that if the people in charge of wizards find out who she is; they’ll kill her. The sentence they’ve come up with for revealing wizards to the world.”  Maleficent explained, having shifted back, as she approached the group. 
“What do you need us to do, nestling?”

Mystic sighed, took a breath, and said, “I need a dagger, silver, and the five of you to stand in a circle.”

The crowd backed into place, Scorpion passing forward a silver dagger to the wizard.  Maleficent, Hades, Peter, Ben, and Mal stood in a circle, the two boys pulling off their gloves and tucking them into their pockets. 

“Empress Maleficent, please take the blade make a slice on your right hand, squeeze the drop of blood in the middle of the circle, and then pass the blade to Emperor Hades, who will do the same. After Him, the three of you will do the same and then drop the blade in the center of the circle.” Mystic Ordered, passing the dagger to Maleficent. 
The Group began following her orders as she chanted, 

“Families bond so richly sown, if this be where show us the bond be thrown.”  

As the last drop of blood fell, the spell completed, then a pause, and out of the blood drops came magical lights, coming together then to each of them. Touching each person and then forming a circle of magic around them. 

“So, that's a yes for being your kids then.” Peter stuttered, looking around them with wide eyes. 

“Yes, that's a yes,” Mystic Replied, sliding her wand into its place. 

“Can I give you both a hug?”  Maleficent asked in a small voice, receiving a shy nod from both boys, walked over and embraced them. Gesturing over to them, Mal, Uma, and Hades joined the hug. 

Looking over to his wife, Hades gave a soft smirk and said to her, 

“Seems the Moirai have been kind to our family this day.” 

“Moirai?” Ben asked, pulling back 

“In English, you might call them the Fates, or the Norns,” Maleficent explained 

“Oh,” Ben Said, then looking around asked, “Where did Ock go?” 

Maleficent smiled and held up a container with an Octopus in it, “ He’s right here. I thought it might be a bit easier to transport him like this.” 

“No way!” Peter Laughed, and Ben leaned towards the container that held his former master, tapping it. Ava stepped into the circle lowering Ben’s hand, 

“Stop that,” Ava warned him, “what do you plan on doing with him?” 

Hades looked at the teenage girl with and with a smirk said 

“Calamari?” Hades laughed, reaching out and getting a high Five from Maleficent, who rolled her eyes.

“Um as interesting as this all is. We may want to continue this elsewhere.” Ava said, walking up to the family, and pointing into the crowd. “ We’ve got reporters incoming, and they don’t like us very much.” 

Maleficent glared into the crowd, eyes growing green, at the humans gathered around the group. The people in the front holding up their phones and cameras up recording and taking photos. As soon as the reporters noticed her looking in their direction they began shouting questions over each other. 

Covering her ears, Maleficent turns and says, “Yes I’m not dealing with that right now. We should go.” looking down and her children and smiling softly she continues “I’d much rather spend that time getting to know all of you.” 

“That I agree with,” Hades says with a smile. 

“Cool.” Peter Replies, “Hey Cloak can you give us a ride home.” 

“Who” Uma asked. 

“No problem, Spidey.” Cloak replied, swooping in and teleporting them all away. 

Chapter Text

Avengers Compound 

Common area 

The room was empty, with only the news playing on a TV in the background.

After a moment a black swirl appeared in the room opening up to be Cloak, teleporting the group into the room. 

As people tumbled into the room Hades said, 

“Please,  warn me next time you do that.” Hades Complained, stumbling forward, into the room. 

“My love you can teleport, same as the boy.” Maleficent laughed, reaching forward to steady her husband. 

“Not Like that, I don't.” He groaned, The other teens walked forward, into the space. 

Mal and Uma pushed past him snickering, following them, entered the rest of the former shield academy, then the isle residents, along with Queen Elsa. 

As the teens began to sit, the door to the room slammed open, running in were Tony, Nat, Jessie, Parker, and Carmen, with Dr Amanda Cage, Luke's mother running in on their heels. 

“Severe Injuries on the right, non-threatening on the left.” Dr. Cage ordered, earning a groan from the students, who uneagerly started following her orders. The Isle residents sharing a look, did the same. 

“Dr Cage, various adults,” Peter started stuttering, “These are the people who helped us out back there. Including, including Ben and I’s Parents.” 

“Parents?” Carmen asked softly, walking up and grabbing Peter's hands. “They look young to have children your age.” 

“We would be if we were human,” Hades interrupted. I’m called Hades, of the Underworld. This is my Wife; she’s called Malificent, Empress of the Moors. Our Daughter, called Mal is a princess of the Moors and a citizen of the Underworld. Hook and Jafar are friends and advisors, and..” 

“Queen Elsa, of Arendell, I’m related to Empress Maleficent through my grandfather, her Father.” Elsa cut in, shaking their hands. Then, turning to Maleficent, she said, “We need to talk.” 

Malificent stared at the young queen eyes wide, before nodding in agreement. Tony Stepped forward, tiredly running his hands through his hair, and said. 

“Well, we will do a DNA test here to check if that relation is true. In the meantime, Your Majesty I am going to have someone from my Public Relations team come up to help us put something together.” Tony explained, “ We already have questions coming in about all of this and the kid's identities, and we need to get ahold of this before things get out of control.” 

“We may not be of much help, we only spent a year around Humans at school, after my wings were cut we left,” Maleficent said, softly, grabbing Hade's hand. “I did some things I’m not proud of after that and spent the last 20 years in an island prison with a barrier around it called ‘The Isle Of The Lost’.”

Amanda Cage looked at the woman sadly, walking over to her she said. 

“Why don’t we talk about this after we get you all checked out.”

Nodding Maleficent replied, “alright, however many of our people will be waiting for us in Aroudon. Is there any way we could retrieve them?” 

“Of course,” Tony replied. 

“Alright everyone, follow me, if you're not one of our new friends then you’ve been in the med bay before. You know where to go, for our new friends please follow me.” Dr Cage said, gesturing to the group to follow. 

Entering the med area, the former shield teens walked to different areas of the med bay. Hades, Maleficent, Hook, Jafar, and Elsa all followed entering areas that the Doctor signaled to them. 

Elsa had a whispered conversation with the doctor, explaining who was, and was quickly cleared by Dr Cage. Her students quickly attending to the young superheroes/Antiheros, who had just ordered stitches and for the teens to get some rest. 

“Hi, how are you doing?” Dr. Amanda Cage asked, pulling up a stool to Maleficent. “I’m going to be doing a couple of tests, we’re gonna start with some blood work.”

“Good, better than I have been in a while I think,” Maleficent replied, stretching out her arm for the doctor, who quickly inserted an IV and took the blood.

“I was told that your wings grew back in today after some time of them having been removed.” Amanda stated as she worked, “I’m a bit worried about any infections that might have been there when your wings grew in. I’m going to make sure nothing is still sitting there.” 

Wouldn’t the infection have gone when my wings came in?” 

“It’s possible but I don’t want to take the chance that it didn’t.” Amanda replied, taking a second vile. “there's also any illnesses that you might have caught on Isle, with your limited contact with Humans your immune systems might not have been ready for.” 

“Well, I had spent a year and a half around humans and 16 cycles around the sun before that. That's where I met Hades, Uli, Morgie, and Hook. My Dam sent me there, sent is a loose word, I trusted a human male and he drugged me, assaulted me, and cut off my wings. My Dam was furious; at me. I was disowned, beaten, and left to the mercy of the humans at Merlin Academy. I found others who’d been hurt, who were alone, and we became allies. But everyone looked at us like we were horrible before we’d even done anything. So we started doing things, not evil, just mean. 

A year and a half later I found out why he’d cut off my wings, and that he’d had a child. So I went leaning on my staff for support and I cursed the child. Afterward, I realized what I’d done, and in tears, my crew walked with me to the principal. But outside the door, we heard what they thought of us, how they were going to lock us away forever.” Maleficent rambled, a wild look in her eyes, “ And then we decided then at that moment that we’d be exactly what they thought of us. We stole, set fires, and cursed entire peoples, there were times so many times, that we wanted to stop. But we just couldn’t, we couldn’t make ourselves stop. We were never proud of what we'd done, but we couldn't stop. But, we tried we’d pull the children and women out of harm's way. 

And then, and then,” 

Maleficent stopped suddenly, tears streaming down her face, not being able to finish her sentence. Amanda reached forward, wrapping her arms around the young fea, pulling her in for a hug. For Maleficent, it felt just as it did all those years ago when she saw Aurora as a teen, the daughter of the man who harmed her, showing her kindness, lifting the fog around her mind. 

Everything seemed to hit the Fea like a bag of bricks, everything that had happened, everything she’d done, and Maleficent began to panic. 

“I need you to calm down Maleficent, breath with me,” Amanda said, stroking her back, attempting to break the fea of her panic attack. “Maleficent if you don’t start to breathe I’m going to have to sedate you. Do you know what that means?” 

Getting no confirmation that the young fea heard her at all she had an assistant bring her an injection, a fast-acting sedative that she pushed into her IV. After a few moments, her eyes slid shut and her breathing evened out. 

The doctor and mother lay the other woman down on the bed and pulled up her sheets. Standing and turning she saw Mal in the doorway, looking at her mother, frightened.

“Is My mom going to be ok?” The Teen Fea asked,

Amanda looked at the girl with soft eyes and replied, “ Physically I'm sure your mother will be fine, mentally? I’ve dealt with lots of kids, who’ve gone through things just like your mother, and reacted just like her. And just like them, your mother should have been given access to mental health services a long time ago.”

“Do you think that if they had helped her any of this would have happened?” Mal Questioned 

“Honey, your mother, and her friends if what she’s gone through is like what they went through. I would have never sent them to prison, let alone the prison that you all have described,” Amanda explained softly to the girl, “ They should have been sent to a mental facility that could help them, with therapy and medicine, not an island prison with rotten food. And I can’t imagine what being born and growing up there must have done.” 

“Can you help us?” 

“I think we can, it might be more severe in your parents and the other adults but like I said we have helped students be able to comfortably interact and even be around others I know we can help them.” 

Dr Amanda Cage stood and led Mal from the room shutting off the lights on her way out. 

Once everyone was tended to, resting, and the others on their way, Tony, Natasha, Dr Cage, Rhodey, The Leverage team, Ra's Al Ghul, Talia Al Ghul, some shadows, Dr Strange, Professor X, Wolverine, Magneto, Carmen, Jessie, Donald Davenport, Skyler storm, Dr Horace Diaz, and two teen doctors from his office Kaz and Oliver, all gathered at the compound to have a meeting. 

They entered the meeting room, a white room with windows on one side and a circular table with Tony at the head, Natasha, and his right, and began. 

“Welcome everyone, thanks for coming on such short notice.” Tony began, 

“With what was said it was important to gather quickly.” Ra’s replied, the others in the room nodding in confirmation. “Perhaps we should allow the Doctor who interacted with them to start.”

“Agreed, Dr. Cage would you mind?” Tony asked the Doctor to his left. 

“Of course,” She replied, moving to address the room. “The First I spoke with was Maleficent, and she brought up something deeply concerning, an encounter that ended with her needing to be sedated. I received permission from her daughter to share a clip of what was said. Friday if you wouldn’t mind playing it.”

The lights in the room dimmed and a hologram video of the encounter shared between Maleficent and Dr Cage began to play. 

Across the room, mixed reactions showed on the faces of everyone in the room. 

When the video ended Dr Cage began to speak again. “We have who knows how many more people on their way here, who were on the isle with them, the rest of her ‘Crew’ adults, and even children who were born on the Isle, a prison. And we know that not everyone here is in the helping business but we need to figure out how to help these people before they relapse.” 

“We should also discuss justice for the people who were imprisoned on the isle, maybe some needed to be in prison, but from what we know about that place, no one deserved to be there.” Carmen said, “And about a guardian, I know Maleficent said her mother disowned her but there may be a father around.” 

“What do you mean a guardian Miss Sandago?” Magneto asked the thief.

“Well, when I was rescued from the red room the second time, even after I left ACME when I was 18 it wasn’t sure I could be trusted to care for myself safely. So I was given a sort of guardian, someone who helped care for me, my things were still my own but it was another layer of defense between myself and a world I wasn’t ready for. I only needed the guardian for a year, but even after I continued to check in with my therapist.” 

“Would that be something she needed?” Asked Donald

“From what we’ve seen so far I believe it is something she’d benefit from.”  Professor Xavier replied, “Maybe once I’ve been able to sit with her and have a session, it would be different but From what I’ve seen I think an extra adult hand would be beneficial.”

“Maybe that's why she already has one.” Dr Cage cut in, sifting through some notes in front of her, “When I spoke to Mal she mentioned that two people help look after her family, A woman named Cruella who lives with them, and in exchange for her help Maleficent makes her medication, and the Hun Chief Shun Yu, who has a big part in teaching them and going out into the rest of the isle with them.  I was told that if he’s not with them a group of female fighters he gifted the couple act as security.” 

“I can add my services as a therapist on top of the structure they’ve created.” Professor offered, “ I recommend along with including classes like the ones Ben Riley and Vulture are in, reintegrating them into the world by actually taking them out with be beneficial.” 

“You want to bring the people out who destroyed things into the public?” Kaz asked

“That was 20 years ago when they were obviously in the middle of some sort of mental breakdown. They’ve had time to rebuild some sort of life even in that prison, with some people who tried to help them.” Skyler answered, “when they found their sons, they stopped to get all of the heroes to safety, not just their kids before going wild on the sinister 6. Keeping them locked away is going to be no better than leaving them on the Isle, they need to be able to prove to themselves and the people who abandoned them that they are still alive and getting better. I do believe it, when their minds are clear they regret what they've done, something's wrong. ” 

“That's what helped me.” Parker said, Leaning into Hardison's hug, Nate, Eliot, and Sophie beside them, “They helped me, we healed together. That’s what they need. ” 

“Agreed,” Tony Cut in, “it sounds like we have a plan then.”

“Excuse me, boss.” Friday cut in “I have The DNA Results,”

“Go ahead Friday,” Natasha Replied

“In the Matter Of Hades and Maleficent being the parents of Peter Parker and Ben Riley, the results are positive, They are their parents. On the other matter.” Friday Continued

“What other matter Friday?” Sophie asked, looking up to the ceiling

“Well, when the conversation of Maleficent’s Father came up I started running her DNA pattern across others we had in the system. I found her Father.” Friday Explained. 

“Maleficent’s Father is.”
