Izuku bites his lip, she didn’t read the papers Mrs Akuimo makes everyone sign so he actually has to talk. That never ends well for him.
”I asked you a question, boy. Answer it.” She seethes at him. There’s so much hatred in her voice. Izuku should be used to it but it still hurts just as much as the first time.

or Izuku has been tormented and beaten down by every person in his life for a quirk he hates. What if he finally has enough and runs away, only to literally bump into the family he’s been craving for so long while also learning to become the hero he’s always been told he can’t be?

“Figures,” the man scoffed, pulling Izuku’s attention up just in time to see him light his cigarette with a little blue flame from the tip of his finger. “But hey? Dream big or go home, am I right?”
“Y-you don’t think it’s impossible?” He asked tentatively, watching the man for any sign of mockery.
“Impossible? Nah.” He took a deep drag, then let it out in a lazy cloud with his next words. “It’ll be hella hard though.”
“I asked All Might. He said I couldn’t be a hero without a quirk.”
The man laughed again—low and bitter. “If you ask, they'll tell you everything’s impossible, kid. That’s why you don’t ask.” He flicked ash from his cigarette. ”You just do it anyway.”

Izuku wants to be a hero. Dabi just wants to be left alone. Neither of them gets what they want.

Summary
This on begins during the siege of the Burial Mound. Wei Ying is trying to destroy or nullify the tiger seal before anyone else can get it. The results don’t work out quite how he thought they would. His essence is trapped in between time where he witnesses different scenes of the lives of those he cares about. (The 13? 16? Years when he was dead.)
