Chapter Text

The days in the mystery cabin couldn't be so boring, being locked up without the possibility of escaping wasn't exactly fun.

Since he arrived here as a human a few weeks ago, since the axolotl wanted him to learn human feelings and such things with the deal to get him out of therapy, he didn't think twice, since he wanted to get out of that place.
He definitely preferred to never be in therapy ever again, but as a prisoner it wasn't the best either.

When he arrived here, the Pines didn't think twice and locked him up despite his protests to tell them that he no longer had powers. Of course they wouldn't listen to him after all he tried to destroy them.
It was by pure luck that the shooting star was moved by him, why? Who knows.
But it was a relief that she was the only one in the family who didn't despise him, at least not verbally.

More than a week had already passed and he felt like he was going crazy, he wanted to get out of the cabin, at least feel the light on his skin, the cold wind. As I hated these feelings, I hated this body, it took a few days to get used to it, but the emotions are still...confusing.

Just as Bill was about to lie down on his dusty mattress, the door behind him creaked, turning around he found himself staring coldly at Ford.

-Come on, let's eat- he said calmly although deep down there was some irritation.

Bill wouldn't admit that a part of him felt bad hearing that tone of voice directed at him, but he preferred to swallow that feeling and continue with his disinterested attitude.

He left the room walking slowly to the kitchen, the entire Pines family was sitting talking to each other until they stopped when they saw Bill standing, Bill almost wanted to go back to the room again but without knowing why he decided to sit at the table with everyone.
I admit it was uncomfortable the air felt suffocating he wanted the earth to swallow him, he felt like everyone was looking at him some with pity, others with hatred and fear. He hated it, eating was even uncomfortable.

He didn't feel welcome and maybe nowhere in the universe either.

He felt his throat burning, but he tried to relax and continue eating in silence, he would rather be in hell than be here.

He didn't know how but after a while he was already in bed staring at the wall in silence, it was already night and everyone was already asleep, the only noise there was was the sound of the forest and the crickets singing.

He tried to sleep but he couldn't, he couldn't dream so he didn't even bother to escape from reality, suddenly an idea occurred to him, a stupid idea, he got up from his makeshift bed and walked to the door slowly, luckily the door wasn't blocked, he walked trying not to make noise through the hallway of the house in silence until he reached the exit door, just when he touched the door handle, he froze when he heard the door creak. He prayed that no one was awake, if they saw him that he was about to escape, goodbye freedom forever.

Luckily no one came, he quickly opened the door and ran as fast as possible to the forest, he ran and ran he didn't even know where he would end up, anyway he had nowhere to go anymore. He didn't know how his body held out without falling unconscious, he stood in the middle of the forest holding his hand to his chest while trying to calm his breathing, he had to lie down on the ground until he could finally calm down.

The sky was lit up with many stars that shone brightly, Bill closed his eye tightly as he tried not to look up sometimes he wondered if somewhere they didn't see him as a... The positive side is that at least here he didn't feel watched.
Anger consumed him, he suddenly got up from the ground looking around, he better go back home or everyone will come angry to look for him to lock him up again.

Just when Bill was about to return to the cabin a light caught his attention hidden in the bushes, he walked in the direction of the light, his eye suddenly opened when he saw a crack that flickered, curiosity became stronger since he had never seen anything like that in his life, it looked like the portal that he and Ford built but this one was very different.

Without thinking much he cautiously entered the crack, just to take a look, it will be quick, just when he finished entering the crack closed leaving the forest in silence.

When Bill entered the first thing he noticed was the red tones brilliant, seemed to be inside some kind of construction, he looked at the place in amazement although deep down he was afraid, stupid feelings, he took a few steps to see the place better when a disgusting splash made Bill look down. Blood, god it was a lot of blood.

Bill's eye opened in fear when he saw almost the entire floor covered in fresh blood, if he hadn't been a human this would have made him interesting, but now he is defenseless and that terrified him.

A mechanical sound made Bill look in front of him and there face to face he saw a yellow light that almost dazzled him, he took a few steps back in fear to return to the crack but it was no longer there, when he looked better at the thing it turned out to be a very strange machine his head was a camera and it had four arms two of which were his, in one it had two other extra arms one red and one green.

They stared at him without expression, Bill was beginning to tremble but he took courage and spoke, this was not going to intimidate him. "Hello?" he said trying to hide the trembling in his voice, the machine still didn't move, he quickly noticed that in one of his hands he had a gun, it seemed to be some kind of revolver. Where did he get it from and at what time? Bill walked backwards nervously as he tried to get away from the machine.

Shit, Now that?

Chapter Text

Bill kept backing away, he had nowhere to go, he was in a dead end. The machine kept coming closer little by little with slow but firm movements, he still held the gun in his hand, Bill cursed under his breath, He shouldn't have left the cottage.
Oh, but he wanted something new, something where he didn't feel like he was being choked.

Bill stared at the machine, if he didn't do something this thing was going to kill him.
"Hey, you... eh..." Bill looked at the machine, scanning any part that said at least his name, luckily he could make out something on a part of his chest. V1. Was that his name?

"V1, right?" the machine moved slightly.

"Look, I just came by, there's no need to kill me, I'm leaving now so... see you soon!" Suddenly the sound of a coin made Bill freeze and a somewhat bright blink almost grazed his face, he doesn't know how long he remained motionless, when he turned around he saw a What the hell was that thing? That was destroyed on the floor.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" he said without thinking, V1 turned around and walked away ignoring Bill who was clearly disconcerted.

Bill looked at the machine, he has to stop calling it a machine, V1 who ignored him, gulped a little thinking that that coin could have gone through him, Did it save him? Whatever it was, he had to go back home, Bill looked at where the crack was but there was no trace of it, I guess he was trapped here... shit.

Bill looked at the place, the machine continued its path at a slow pace, he bit his lip not knowing what to do, if only he had his powers this would have been easy, he could have even scared V1.
It would be interesting if... oh he could use it to his advantage.

V1 is a killing machine so he could protect Bill from the things that are in this place until he finds the exit. He just had to make V1 trust him.

"Hey, V1? Or whatever, eh, look I don't know if you know but I'm always an innocent human in this place..." V1 kept walking, Bill got angry when he saw that this machine was very stubborn or simply did not care.

"Look, it could be useful, and let's say that if you wanted me dead, you would have already done it, so I'm in your debt, Can I go with you? You know" Bill almost screamed when V1 appeared in front of him, the camera was looking at Bill, he was looking at him until she turned around, Bill looked at the machine that stopped to see him. "I suppose you want me to follow you" Bill said with a smile following the machine, happy that his plan worked.

The walk with V1 was very peculiar, V1 was fast, sometimes not even Bill noticed and he was already killing with his weapon whatever he killed, he was covered in blood, god, so much blood all over his body, Bill was curious as to why. Fun? Entertainment?
Bill admits it, he began to be intrigued by this behavior, it was very mysterious.

As Bill looked at them better he noticed some very interesting things, the first is that V1 kills anything he sees or attacks, two is that he was apparently very light, he hadn't realized he had the eight orange wings behind his back and the most interesting is that apparently V1 can't talk or well he hasn't said a word to Bill.

Suddenly V1 appeared next to Bill this time making him scream "God, you have to stop doing that" said Bill irritated, V1 made some noises at a volume that only the two of them could hear. Was he laughing?

"It's not funny, you don't know who I am?" V1 looked up and down, moved his shoulders slightly and continued forward, Bill felt offended although taking into account that he is a mortal it makes sense that V1 sees him as something insignificant.

"Hey where are we going?" said Bill boredly watching V1 kill and kill became a bit tedious, luckily V1 pointed at what seemed to be a computer.

V1 moved and read what the machine showed him, Bill wanted to get closer to read what it said but he didn't want to risk V1 getting angry, he didn't want a bullet in his eye. Bill thought while he watched V1 maybe he could get some information about this place.

"Hey, could you tell me where we are?" said Bill kindly, V1 looked at him and then at the place. However, instead of saying something to Bill, he continued with his thing, ignoring an angry Bill.

"Well, you don't have to tell me, I'll find out myself" said Bill angrily, he continued walking until he reached an elevator, Bill turned to see V1 who was still doing his thing and with an evil smile he got off. Bill waited for the doors to open but when they did, Bill's eyes widened in surprise.

It was a desert, you could see some structures and pyramids, the atmosphere felt suffocating because of the heat of the sun shining in the sky, did he come to the surface so fast? He was already on his way back to V1 but he got ahead of him, appearing again next to him "for axolotl stop doing that!" V1 looked at him tilting his head, it was creepy not knowing what he was thinking.

"Hell"

"What?" Bill was shocked to hear V1's mechanical voice, he thought he couldn't talk.

"You said you wanted to know where you are. Hell" said V1 without any emotion in his voice, Bill looked at him in silence while looking at the road.

Oh so he was in hell, now it made things easier he just had to go out and get there with the Pines.

"Hey and how do I come to the surface I have people up there who were looking for me" said Bill almost irritated, V1 looks at him, there is an uncomfortable silence for a few seconds, until V1 ends that silence.

"There's no one up there" he said seriously, Bill looked at him confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Humanity is dead"

Chapter Text

Hearing those words, Bill was left breathless, he looked at them with his eyes almost blank, he wanted to think that it was just a simple joke from V1 and that spending so much time here screwed up his head, but the way he said it, it's not that he cares if in some dimension everyone was dead, what scared him was that this was his dimension and he would end up traveling in time or something like that.

Although it was clear that this was not his world from the minute he entered here, but still he couldn't shake the thought that maybe he was wrong.

"Are you trying to tell me that there is no one up there?" they looked at him and as if felt his anguish, he nodded.

Bill looked at the great desert for a few seconds, meanwhile V1 was at his side.

"Okay buddy, I think I'll be honest with you, I'm not from here, I'm not from this world, in fact I'm from another dimension." said Bill hoping that V1 would know how to get him back home, V1 I look at him with open optics, a small circle could be seen. Bill almost felt that he was looking at him with a crazy face, but to his surprise it wasn't like that. "Okay, I think it's time to go to the surface" said V1 with a little enthusiasm.

"Huh, why?" Bill looked at V1, he didn't understand why he was going to the surface, there wasn't anyone there anymore.

"I know someone who could help you."
Said V1 backing up.

As they advanced, the next level was a little more impressive and disconcerting. The place was a large garden, fountains, green trees and a blue sky. Bill even believed had already come to the surface, but the dried blood stains revealed that they were still in hell.
Bill tried not to step on the blood stains and get his shoes covered, but it was inevitable. Almost the entire floor was bloody. It was interesting how V1 was a machine that went far beyond needing blood to survive. It was a war machine, designed to kill, although he couldn't deny that there was something deeper in V1, something that made him different.

Some humanity.

Bill couldn't help but grimace as he remembered that before, this would have worked in his favor. He would have even tried to convince V1 to join him, although he knew very well that V1 wouldn't accept it. Even being a machine, it had more humanity than him.

And that made him angry.

"How absurd." he said in a low voice as the words came out of his thoughts, he followed V1 until he reached another elevator, he was already tired of walking fast since they were very fast.

"Hey, it wouldn't be bad to take a break." said Bill as he stuck to the wall and sat down, V1 looked at him confused at first but then stood next to him.

While Bill took a breath, he felt V1's gaze on him, Bill glared at him hoping that they would stop looking at him but of course V1 didn't understand the hint, Bill began to feel a little uncomfortable but V1 cut the discomfort.

"What were you Bill?" said V1 with curiosity in his voice.

Bill raised a eyebrow and smiled "oh was a demon, a god." he said proudly, while V1 continued to look at him without much impression, seeing that Bill didn't answer the question he moved on to another.

"And what happened to that great power?" said V1 with mockery making Bill stay silent for a while, Bill's anger came out when he remembered the Pines.
"Oh I was defeated by two kids and their uncles, the Pines." he said mentioning their nicknames anyway it's not like V1 knew them.

"They thought I died but I didn't, summon axolotl to save myself and he sent me to therapy and after making a deal with him he sent me as a human to learn and be a better person with the same ones who defeated me." He said with irritation, while V1 owed him looking at him, although he could feel pity?

"Interesting, and how did you end up here" he said with curiosity, waiting for Bill to answer them, he was silent until he spoke angrily. "I escaped for things that don't concern you" he said annoyed while he stood up from the ground.

"And you know I'm in a hurry so let's go" he said as he walked away from V1. V1 found it a little frustrating not knowing the whole truth but he couldn't force him to tell him, so maybe in time he'll tell him or maybe he'll never do it.

They continued walking to the exit, reaching the largest doors, they went through them and got on the last elevator. Bill was a little nervous, he could feel it, he was very tense when the doors opened.
When they left, the fauna had grown a little, but it still hadn't been much. Bill looked around, the forest was green and full of life, the birds were singing in the distance as well as the creaking of the branches as they fell to the ground, the sky had some clouds in that moved slowly, however, despite the fact that the place felt alive, there was a melancholic air in the area, as if something or someone was missing.
While the cold wind hit his skin, a chill ran through his body. He looked at V1 with some distrust, he seemed calm, moving his head from side to side looking for something.

"Are you sure you're not going to leave me stranded here?" Bill said, hiding his concern. V1 shook his head and Bill let out an air of relief.

“He shouldn't be far, he can help” Bill opened his eyes upon hearing the "he", who was? Any other machine?”

V1 turned to look at Bill and motioned for him to follow. Bill reluctantly followed V1 into the forest.
Bill looked around, the forest was like any other forest, although he couldn't deny that this one was very boring. Admits that the Gravity Falls forest had its mysterious and magical air, surprising you with anything, whether small or large, there was always something to discover.
As they advanced, Bill saw that V1 was walking slowly and almost silently. He could also see that in one of his arms, the red one had a gun held and ready to shoot, as if he was prepared for something.

Bill was about to talk to V1 when a long, fast, blue thing brushed past his right side. V1 quickly aimed his gun and fired in the middle of the forest. There was silence as the machine continued without moving with the gun pointed, while behind they the former demon remained frozen.

Just as Bill reacted again, a being with armor that also covered his head emerged from between the trees, He had blue wings almost transparent, he had in one of his hands a sharp yellow sword.
V1 slowly lowered his weapon, still staring at the being in front of him, while Bill looked curiously.

Hello machine, I was going to check on you but I think you got ahead of yourself” he said calmly with a soft voice, Bill was expecting a threatening voice, but apparently it wasn't like that, however he tensed up when he felt the gaze of another, the being pointed at him while V1 looked at Bill.
“And who is that? Is he a human?” His words sounded with surprise as they looked at Bill.

“Hi, I'm Bill, I'm from another dimension, can you take me home?” He said naturally leaving the other confused.

"Oh, what?"

“I have a lot to tell you” said V1 as he looked at the being next to him.

Grabiel joined the adventure, yes.

Chapter 4: Stories in the stars

Summary:

An conversation between Grabiel and Bill.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

V1 was talking to the winged being far enough away to prevent Bill from hearing, Bill was sitting on a log while the fire from the campfire warmed him, he had his hand resting on his face in boredom.
A few hours had passed since they started talking, even the sun had already set leaving the sky dark.

Bill was upset that he couldn't hear the conversation, it bothered him that they were planning something against him, a shame that this human body can't hear from afar.

Bill looked at the night sky and for the first time in many years he marveled that the stars here shine brightly, he could even see the Milky Way clearly, the entire sky covered with stars, millions of them looking down at the now semi-lonely earth.
He couldn't help but feel his mouth go dry, while the stars shone it was almost the same as he saw them at...home, Euclydia.

Bill looked down suddenly, if there's one thing he learned the first few days in this body it's that emotions are very treacherous and he doesn't think he'll cry in front of these two strangers, he wouldn't even dare to cry in front of anyone. That's a very low step for him.

After a while in silence, the armored being sat on the other side in front of Bill while V1 stood there looking as if he was interested in a tree.
Bill took this as a sign, a very bad one.

"You're Bill, right?” Bill turned to see the winged being, although his face couldn't be seen he felt his gaze on him.

“Yes...?” he said almost uncomfortably as he heard a sigh from the other.

“Listen, I don't know if what you say is true, but if you're from another world I have bad news for you, I don't know how to get you home, I'm sorry” He said firmly, Bill felt a lump in his throat as he silently looked at the winged being.

“Is what you say true?” He said making Bill look at him annoyed, he was tired of no one believing him when he was honest. (although he couldn't blame them).

“Why would I lie?” He said irritably, the winged being stiffened, obviously not trusting him.

“I know it's impossible for any human to still be alive on this earth… but not under possibilities” said the winged being, maintaining his firm posture.
Bill began to feel uncomfortable with all this, he could feel irritation from the other, they seemed like two bombs that could explode at any moment, unstable or stable, full of rage inside. What the hell was he?

“Well, I don't think I'm a survivor from here, and who are you?” said Bill with curiosity and irritation.

“I'm Grabiel, the former judge of hell, an angel”

Oh, an angel. Bill had never seen them, he thought they didn't exist, there were only images of them, lots of wings and eyes and stuff like that, he never imagined them like that.
I guess each universe is too different, unique.

“Well, I'm Bill, former dream demon, a very good one at clarifying, But you already knew that, right?” Bill said cockily, the angel straightened up with his arms crossed, “really?, No offense I see an always mortal” Bill opened his face offended, feeling the blood bubbling.

“Haha I had some problems in my world but this is only temporary, then I will return to my form.” he could feel that the archangel did not believe a single word he said, if he had a visible face he would raise an eyebrow.

“Well oh powerful being, how did end up here?.” Bill looked annoyed at the archangel.

“I already told V1.” a lie that did not work because the archangel let out a small graceless laugh, V1 told him the details with pure truth “if you didn't even tell him, how do you want us to trust you if you are hiding information from us”
Bill turned his angry gaze to the bushes, he could not help but feel a deja Vu.

How do you expect me to trust you again Bill, if you only end up betraying me?

He was right, they were right, he always does it, he always hides things and swallows them for himself.

Bill could feel both of their gazes, the forest fell silent, he felt like a scolded child and his parents waiting for his honest declaration.
This made him remember the day he arrived at the cabin for the first time, everyone gathered in that room waiting for Bill to speak and say what they so wanted him to say, lies.

And as if it were a bag of time Bill stared angrily at Archangel, he knew not he could beat him, it was clear, he was now a simple mortal.

But as if something softened inside the Archangel this inside, releasing the toxic air from the environment. Bill was surprised by the Archangel's reaction and could not help but feel comparisons.

Bill waited for the angel's next attack but it never happened, leaving him confused not knowing what to say or do. V1 walked over and sat down next to Bill looking at the slowly moving fire.

The awkward air was now just a calm air. Bill relaxed and slightly as he cautiously looked at the two sitting there, were they plotting something or did they just get tired of him? Either way Bill played along by settling down to feel the warm fire of the campfire.

As the sound of the wood crackling with the heat of the fire, Bill gave a quick glance at V1 and Grabiel, especially Grabiel who had a stick helping him move the firewood. Bill couldn't stand the silence any longer, as he can't be at peace for even a second.

“And you Gabriel, I imagined that angels were different?” he said curiously, Gabriel continued the conversation normally, Ignoring the fact that a few seconds ago they wanted to kill each other.

“To be honest my form would be impossible for an always mortal to see, his mind couldn't bear it” he said as he arranged the firewood that had fallen out of the fire.

“Aha, and what's your story here?” He said with slight curiosity, Grabiel stayed, V1 looked at Bill and waved his hands indicating that he better leave it like that, however Grabiel continued. “I was the judge of Hell, a title that God gave me.” Grabiel said with a bit of pride

“God?” said Bill looking at Gabriel with interest.

“God” his words sounded melancholic.

“and now where is it?”

“He went away” Gabriel threw his branch into the fire and watched as the flames consumed the wood, Bill said nothing.

Silence reigned in the place while the three remained in a silence that was not uncomfortable, Bill was about to comment something but Gabriel interrupted him.

“After that many things changed, heaven was controlled by the council, they deceived me, they deceived everyone with their fallacies, I did-” Gabriel remained silent, V1 bowed his head, Bill assumed that V1 knew what he was talking about but he said nothing.

“In the end V1 made me reconsider, honestly, and in the end I killed them” Bill opened his eyes, looking at Grabiel in surprise, who would have thought that such a pure being could be a sinner too.

“And how did you feel, good?” Bill said with a smile, Gabriel shook his head.

“You know what? What they did is unforgivable even when the sword was at their neck they never repented, they never accepted their mistakes, in the end they are not forgiven for what they did I even think that I do not deserve forgiveness” V1 stood up and sat down with Grabiel putting his hand on his shoulder, giving him comfort “I don't know how those kind of people think they will be forgiven.” Bill's smile fell, feeling a wave of regret.

This is what Ford thinks of him, that he does not deserve forgiveness?

Silence reigned again, Bill thought about the words that Grabiel said, maybe he was right, maybe he doesn't deserve forgiveness. He sighed heavily, he will regret this later.
“I was born in a very different dimension from Earth, but that place no longer exists… after that I had a goal in mind, one in which I almost achieved, I hurt someone important with deception and manipulation and other things, not only him, but also his entire family, I tried to kill them, when I was finally about to conquer the world they defeated me and I died…” the words were left hanging in the air, V1 and Grabiel had all his attention, neither said anything while they listened to Bill's story.

““But thanks to a god from my dimension, I lived, but he sent me to therapy and decided it would be a good idea to become human. Absurd, I hated it. At first I wanted to kill them all for ruining my plan… but now everything is confusing, the emotions, Seriously, a part of me wants to change and I'm trying, but maybe I don't deserve forgiveness and maybe that's why escape.”
"I found a crack in the forest and went inside and got here, It was stupid but here I am" Bill felt Grabiel's gaze on him, wow that guy was a little intimidating, maybe he's thinking that being so despicable is, anyway, he deserves it.

“Bill, I don't think they really hate you.” Grabiel's words made Bill look at him surprised, shouldn't he hate him too?

“Hey, didn't you hear me? Didn't you say that-”

“Bill, just because the council was manipulative doesn't mean you're the same as them.” The atmosphere fell silent, Bill was still confused.

“Look, maybe what you did wasn't right and possibly if you had done it you would never have regretted it” Bill closed his mouth, V1 looked at him and then at Grabiel

“But what I do know is that you can achieve change regardless of whether you are human or not. That doesn't defend you. What does defend you is what you want to be in the future. Of course, it's possible that everything that was hurt will never be cured, but with time, it will heal those wounds and give yourself a chance. The first step is to accept our mistakes.”
Grabiel straightened up looking at Bill firmly but with hints of sympathy.

“Change is what makes us change, the council even in the end never accepted their mistakes but you did Bill and that's a step further, you know what you did and you know that you want change and that's much different”

“Maybe they won't forgive you, not entirely, but what I do know is that humans know how to forgive and move on with life”

“Hopefully” with those words Bill would say jokingly that it sounded too poetic however he just looked at the fire and its slow movement. “I hope so” he said in a whisper.

“Well I think I have an idea of how to get you home” said Grabiel with a bit of enthusiasm, Bill’s eyes lit up “how?”

“You said the portal was in hell, maybe it will appear there again” Bill looked at V1 and he nodded.

“and if not, we will have to think of something else” Grabiel gets up from where he was sitting. “well it’s time to sleep, tomorrow there are things to do” he says calmly as he heads into the forest.
V1 puts out the fire and signals Bill to follow him, Bill bewildered accepts as he follows them into the forest.

When he follows them they reach a place without much grass where one can lie down without fear of an animal coming out. Grabiel settles down on a tree saying quietly good night, V1 does the same.
Bill makes a face looking at the ground, before he slept in a bed, then on a mattress and now on the ground, what a life.

Bill lies down on the floor letting himself drift off into sleep and closes his eyes, the stars shining giving him security in this strange world.

When Bill woke up he found V1 looking at him standing in front, “don't do that!” He said almost shouting, V1 let out a small laugh. Bill looked at both sides of the forest without seeing the archangel

“And Grabiel?”

“He left, things to do” said V1 as he walked towards the sunrise.

“Oh, a busy archangel” Bill said humorously, he stood up and walked beside V1
“Where are we going?” Bill said curiously.
V1 pointed his hand in the direction of a destroyed city, When did it come out? “before we go to hell to find your portal we have to go to the city to find you some weapons” V1 said Bill looked at him with a raised eyebrow,
“nothing to worry about I'm an ex-demon as if I couldn't take care of myself before, I've dealt with worse things.

“Well big know-it-all I hope to see what to do when you are in danger”

“What-”

“I can't always watch your back Bill, but if you want to have no external protection then-”

“Wait” V1 stopped and looked at Bill if he could smile he would do it shamelessly

“Okay, you win but I want a weapon that is effective”

“Okay let's go”

Before following V1 Bill stood still memorizing what happened yesterday “They used the technique of telling their sad story so that I would talk” Bill said offended he is supposed to be the manipulator. “no but we always let silence do its thing it is up to one if he wants to do it or not” said V1 walking towards the city Bill was going to complain but it was better to stay quiet after all what else could he say.

Notes:

feel I got out of character haha.

Chapter 5: Abandoned and yet still alive

Summary:

V1 them teaches Bill how to shoot to defend himself in hell.

Chapter Text

The cold wind hit the broken glass of the windows causing thunderous noises, it was a way of silently saying that there was no one alive in the city, not a dying soul, not even a machine. Walking through those desolate streets while the cloudy sky says it will rain, Bill was bored by the sad and boring atmosphere, if he had ruled the world it would be a party and absolute chaos, not this. But this was how it was all going to end, wasn't it? In silence while people were put under his feet and the infertile land burned.

Why did everything have to end so dramatically?

Bill walked behind V1 looking at him very carefully, his eight wings moved slightly from time to time, Bill wondered where he got the weapons from, he didn't have a bag behind him or well not a visible one, does he have a secret compartment or something?

“What are you looking at?” V1 said robotically as he looked at Bill who quickly looked away pretending to see a broken chair next to him.

“What? I just appreciated this sad and broken chair.” He kicked the chair and it crumbled like a domino piece, V1 tilted his head slightly.

“I thought it was still sturdy,” Bill said looking at the broken chair, V1 turned around and continued on his way, while behind him Bill continued criticizing the place.

“The humans of this world didn’t know about nuclear bombs?” Bill looked closely at a restaurant that was in ruins, the windows broken, the tables overturned and broken, a foul smell could be distinguished from the rubble, Bill grimaced and continued walking.

“And yours?” V1 answered, Bill grimaced as he looked at a dead rat on the floor, “Are you on the defensive today?” He said while using a rod that he didn't know where it came from, he carefully poked it. "I guess I'm tired today" said V1 looking at how Bill was now admiring a poster that was torn in two, really can't he stay still for a second? Bill walked faster moving ahead while he continued to look around the place. "Too bad, Ford told me that I'm very restless" Bill approached a broken machine on the ground carefully he moved it so that it would react but it didn't, it was already dead.

“ford?, your human?” Bill glanced at V1 smiling at them. “Of course, how did you know?” he said as he continued to explode, V1 looked at the machine that Bill saw earlier, broken, discarded, useless… V1 walked away following Bill who was already seeing an overturned truck, inside it was a corpse, luckily it was already bones, Bill touched its skull a little making it move from one side to the other, poor guy, the idiot was trapped and died of hunger, Bill continued his exploration. For V1, Bill behaved like a little child who went on an excursion to the forest, touching and seeing his surroundings.

“You didn’t go out much?” said V1 stopping when he saw Bill who was now (really?) climbing on a pile of overturned cars and waste. “No, I was always at the mystery shack, working even…” Bill noticed something in V1 and decided to take advantage of it. “I was overexploited, tied up and used by those cruel humans.” He dramatizes leaning on a car door, V1 knew it was all a lie so he kept walking ignoring Bill. V1 didn't care if they treated Bill well or not, he just found his whole behavior curious, after all he had never seen a demon turned into a human. V1 stopped suddenly and looked at Bill who was already below walking behind him, "So you won't be able to recover your abilities anymore?" He said curiously, Bill nodded irritably. "Unfortunately" he said as he approached a cafeteria, V1 followed him.

Inside the cafeteria everything was very little messy which was good since it was easier to search for things easily, among them there were no bodies which was a good point for many reasons, on one of the tables there was a can of soda standing very suspicious.
Billa drank and played with it spinning it on its own axis, V1 grabbed the can when Bill stopped spinning it and holding it showed it. “What? It’s a can” V1 brought it closer to the other, the can was already empty, full of dust from above, what he wanted him to see was just a regular can, “Have you never seen a can?” said Bill as he moved the can from his vision.

V1 shook his head, taking out a friendly gun, oh… Bill opened his eyes “Are you trying to tell me that this can is for my training?” Bill said with amusement, V1 nodded leaving the cafeteria putting the can on some rubble, placed so that it could stand up and not fall. Bill looked at the can from a reasonable distance, v1 saw a gun that seemed to be the same one he saw the first time when they met.

“Oh, sure you want to give it to me, it would be very easy to use it against you?” V1 gave it to him firmly, “if you did you wouldn’t last a second” said v1 with his arms crossed, Bill smiled as he pointed the gun at the side, he already knew how to use a gun, he wasn’t a child. Bill flew out when he fired, luckily he hit the can but with consequences, V1 quickly approached Bill, while he was complaining on the ground.

“Shit what kind of weapon is this?” he said with a groan as he sat down rubbing his back, V1 looked at the weapon that was in perfect condition, “strange. Grabiel uses it and that doesn't happen.” V1 said trying to think what caused that sudden accident, Bill kept complaining standing up looking at the weapon angrily.

V1, this thing is designed for machines and beings with a lot of strength, I'm an ordinary mortal! Bill wanted to tell V1 that but he didn't want to be seen as inferior so he said “I don't know, maybe these weapons aren't for me, I need something more common” he said irritably, V1 felt confused as he looked at the weapon. “Let's look for something easier.” V1 said as he walked in search of human weapons, while Bill tried not to complain anymore about the back pain caused by the fall.

Cafeteria, restaurant, flower shop, restaurant, butcher shop, school…

V1 looked at more structures, another cafeteria, butcher shop, library, (Grabiel would like to know that there is one here) clothing store, but are there no police stations? While V1 continued his search Bill walked behind him, irritated, they have been walking for almost an hour and they have not found anything, while he looked at the sky that was threatening to unleash a storm, Bill made a face, he did not want to get sick in this place, Bill approached V1 who was still looking at the city stalls. “Hey we can't put this off for later I don't want to get wet” said Bill looking at the sky with the sound of thunder approaching V1 looked at the sky and nodded heading to a shelter to avoid being wet by the rain. “Thanks” said Bill looking at himself to go with V1 to what used to be apartments.

When they entered the rain could be heard outside, just in time, Bill looked inside the building, just like the other rubble and bones, V1 made a sign for him to follow her, they found an emergency staircase that seemed to have no damage and they began to go up since the elevator was broken and they needed a shelter to get through the rain that Bill doubts very much will go away soon, while going up the stairs Bill wondered if it was also raining in his world or was it a sunny day?, perhaps Ford is sleeping very well now that he is gone?, perhaps Mabel was happy that now there is no need to pretend to be his friend, perhaps Stan and Dipper celebrated his departure, surely everyone was happy…

Did they?....

“Bill.” Just then V1’s voice woke him from his thoughts, he looked away and continued on. When they reached the fifth floor, V1 quickly walked to check the rooms, all of them were much worse than above, bodies already in bones, debris from the ceiling, torn belongings and rooms destroyed, each and every one of their souls consumed. When V1 looked at room 13 the place was almost clean, there was no large debris, the apartment was in good condition, the furniture almost perfect and the rooms only full of dust but adequate to spend this stormy night.

V1 pointed the room to Bill, who looked at it with a face of disgust. “You know something V1, I’m going to get tuberculosis if we keep sleeping in dust” he leaned his shoulder on the door looking at V1 who didn’t seem to care about the dust at all.
“It’s this or outside.” V1's voice distorts slightly as he lays down on the bed in one of the rooms, Bill approaches V1 who has his eye closed. "I was just saying you know, don't take everything to heart." Bill walks out of the room heading to the kitchen, he opens the cupboards upstairs, miraculously there is pantry, a can of soup, tomato, tuna, a piece of bread and bottled water. Bill grabs the piece eating it slowly, he doesn't know when he will eat again so he has to take care of the food.

Bill goes into one of the rooms in this one the sheets are in disarray and the closet is open with clothes thrown around, the window is closed and the floor is full of trash from sheets of paper, Bill slowly walks to the bed and lays down without moving the sheets, closing his eyes as he slowly listens to the raindrops falling through the window.

Hey

Are you there?...

Are you listening to me?

You know, I don't like what you're suggesting anymore, you know... at least you planned this? No, right...

Can I go back home?...

Hey!, salamander...

Anybody?

He doesn't listen to me...

….

Mom?

With a scream Bill wakes up falling to the ground, he looks around upset, he is alone, his nerves calm down and he gets up leaving the room as quickly as possible, he looks into the room where V1 was there but he was no longer there, Bill bewildered walked to the kitchen where he found a V1 throwing cutlery and plates. “Hey what are you doing?...” Bill said almost in a whisper, V1 raised an arm that was holding a normal gun, Bill took it staring at it, V1 continued with what he was doing.

“Uh… thanks” V1 looked at Bill and pointed to the window, outside the rain had already stopped, Bill saw V1 again and he had glass cups in his hand. “Come on. Let's go outside.” V1 said walking to the exit, Bill looked around the apartment and went out behind V1.

On the street were the four glass cups, Bill had the gun ready to shoot while a V1 watched him from the side, Bill held the gun more firmly while looking at his targets. “Remember, they move down below. You have to be fast.” V1 told him, Bill sighed heavily, this is easy Bill, easy. Bill fired the four shots breaking the glass cups, Bill was happy seeing V1 who applauded him. “I told you that you don’t care about me” Bill said with a smile, V1 crossed his arms approaching Bill. “You need more practice.” Bill looked disinterested at V1 ignoring what he said. “Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have more glasses.” If V1 had eyes he would roll them, he moved and grabbed other glass cups to continue with the training.

The sun filtered through the window of the cabin, silence reigned in the corners while the sound of birds sang happily in the trees, Ford got up as usual first before all the members of the family, there was no noise it was too quiet, suspiciously quiet, he approached Bill's room and knocked twice, no answer, he knocked again but louder but no one answered, intrigued he opened the door and with surprise Bill was not there, "Bill?" Ford said looking around the room, the sound of footsteps was heard behind him, Dipper approached almost fainting with Mabel behind him. "Uncle Ford!" She shouted making Ford turn to look at him. "Bill's gone" With those words all his deepest fears came to the surface.

Chapter Text

"Bill!" Ford shouted in the forest desperately, in every corner in every part of the forest, looking for the face of the demon with that irritating but at the same time hypnotizing smile, but he didn't find it, Dipper and Mabel with Stanley went to the city, house by house asking if they had seen him out there in the streets, they searched every corner, every place where he could hide but there was nothing, not even a trace.

It was as if he had vanished...

While Ford kept shouting his name he couldn't deny thinking about everything a loose Bill would do, he could think about taking over the world or even revenge for his family, making chaos everywhere was another possibility, anything, he couldn't let Bill be out, it was dangerous.

It was still the same as before?

He looks at the sky, the stars are starting to appear, Ford sighed tiredly as he returns home as the road lit up and didn't leave him in the dark, tomorrow morning he will continue looking for him in the hope of finding him.

When he arrived at the cabin, his whole family was waiting for him with hopeful eyes for some news of the demon, but they were disappointed to see him alone without him. "Now what?" Dipper said as he looked at his uncle looking for the answer to his question, they couldn't give up now, not when the world might be in danger, when he's in some trouble.
"We'll keep looking in the morning." Ford said adjusting his glasses, his family just nodded as the house fell silent.

In the room, the siblings lay down in their beds staring at the ceiling without saying a word. Silence reigned in every corner of the room, Dipper would think that when Bill left everything would be calm again, that the previous normality would return, lie, his sister remained silent staring at the ceiling, she hadn't said a word since the morning.

"Mabel, are you okay?" Dipper said in a whisper, Mabel turned to look at him with a grimace on her face. “Thinking…” his voice sounded hurt and too low, Dipper knew that Mabel had become fond of Bill, she had given him the opportunity to change when everyone was against him, she was the only one who cared about his well-being, she was the only one who defended him, he didn’t think that the girl had developed a much stronger bond…
Bill had done many things, some of which will take a while to forgive but he can’t deny that maybe they were a little cruel to him, he deserved it, right?

Dipper continued looking at the ceiling, that night the brothers didn’t sleep… The next morning the Pines continued searching, Ford went out into the woods and continued searching, any clue, anything, but there was nothing, maybe him… Ford quickly ran away, the forest became more and more sinister as he advanced. There was only one place he hadn’t searched, he could be there.

When he arrived, Bill's statue was there, covered in vegetation, there was no trace of anyone, it's been a long time since anyone came here, everyone has long forgotten about It and he was the only one keeping him alive, Ford looked at the statue with remorse, so much to say, so much to not say, he walked away from it, continuing his search, a little disappointed that Bill wasn't there.
Why did he think he would be there?

Ford returned home, there on the couch outside was Mabel sitting with a dull look, Ford approached and sat next to her, the wind blew moving the pines and the leaves, Ford looked at Mabel, her gaze was lost, he had never seen her so sad, Ford coughed to get his niece's attention. "What's wrong Mabel, is everything okay?" He said while Mabel paid attention to him.
"Nothing, he just asked me where he went..." Mabel said while looking at the forest.
Ford also had that same doubt, did Bill leave the town, never to return, is he still here but hidden playing a bad joke? Thinking about the possibility that Bill will sneak a boat and leave Gravity Falls, worried him a little, he knew that the barrier would not let him escape but now with this new human form could he?
So many possibilities and still there is no clue of any of them.

“Bill is special, I don't think he will last outside only for a long time, we will find him Mabel.” in Mabel's eyes there was a small sparkle, she still had hope, she nodded a little with her look more animated “I hope so.” suddenly Dipper ran from between the trees towards them, he seemed tired, worrying Ford and Mabel, he stopped in front of them trying to breathe more calmly, when Ford was about to ask, Dipper spoke quickly “Uncle Ford, you have to see this.”

In the forest there was a crack with a yellow and blue glow, it turned red at times as it slowly closed, Ford and the children were watching it with shock on their faces.

“Didn’t we cover up these cracks?” Mabel said remembering when she was almost replaced by her alternative and how in some parts of the forest those cracks were present.

“It seems they keep appearing.” said Ford when suddenly the crack closed in front of their faces, the three of them were frozen in silence while the sound of birds could be heard in the background, Ford was silent, this is new, the cracks weren’t supposed to close by themselves, besides this one was very different from the ones he had seen, being in the forest is worrying, one could fall and get trapped wherever that crack leads and if Bill… “Uncle, do you think-?” Dipper looked at his uncle as he opened his eyes in fear, he already knew what had happened and it wasn’t anything good.

Bill fell into a crack.

After the terrible discovery Ford told his family, everyone was silent while he thought about what was going to happen, Mabel was more down than she already was, it was normal that she was worried about everything that could happen to her friend wherever he was, Dipper was the same but not as much as Mabel, he was a little more intrigued by that strange crack in the forest, Stanley although he pretended not to care in fact he did, Soos and his partner Melody were just as worried about Bill, even Wendy who doesn't live with him much was intrigued by this matter and then there was Ford that cold and serious look as he looked at his family's concern, he didn't say a word and entered his laboratory, locking himself completely, two days passed and Ford didn't come out, everyone was worried about him of course, but there was something that prevented them from going to ask if he was okay.

After the third day he appeared with a smile on his face, walking to where his family was who was in the living room watching an episode of the detective duck.
“I need you to come here now.” Ford said, addressing his brother and nephews. The three of them looked at him with intrigue and followed Ford into the basement.

Dipper was the first to be surprised when he entered. It was semi-chaos. Everything was full of papers, but the most important thing was a strange device on a lonely table. The three of them approached the device that looked like a tracker. Ford approached them with excitement in his eyes and said seriously. “With this device, we believe we can track those strange cracks, so we can go through them and get Bill out of whatever he's gotten himself into.”

Everyone's eyes lit up, Stanley crossed his arms still not convinced "are you sure you want to look for it, maybe he already has an empire" he said humorlessly, Ford looked away thoughtfully but then with the same emotion he answered his brother "maybe... but in case not, we'll still have to go for it." Mabel couldn't resist anymore and screamed with excitement hugging her uncle almost making him fall, Stanley no longer claimed anything, smiling to see Mabel's happiness, Dipper looked at the tracker with curiosity still hypnotized by his uncle's creation "and what exactly will we find in those cracks" Dipper asked looking at Ford who remained silent for a few seconds. "I don't know, but we'll know very soon."

Chapter 7: Violence In the calm

Summary:

Bill and V1 deal with an unknown threat. Meanwhile, an archangel deals with something more deadly.

Chapter Text

The rumble of the crash sounded throughout the elevator, Bill let out a groan of pain as he rubbed his back, V1 fell from above with almost perfection he looked at Bill who got up in pain from the ground.

V1 approached the terminal while saving the information he had collected from the surface, while doing so Bill continued to mutter nonsensical things as he approached to see the screen of the machine. Bill's eyes watched them very carefully, he seemed to analyze what appeared on the screen, they didn't mind Bill looking at the information on the terminal, what worried him was that the terminal-

[You know what you are]

"But what-" Bill moved his face back a little as he looked confused at the terminal, V1 didn't care much about his reaction, however the terminal could be a little hurtful, he already had problems with Grabiel another problem with another person definitely the terminal was too sincere or he hated everyone. The terminal showed another image again, a little more aggressive, one by one.

[You know what you did]

[You're not from here]

Every message that came out of the screen started to make Bill angry, he approached the screen with fury shaking it as he could starting to yell at the terminal, V1 looked at the fight with disinterest starting to move away from them both while he continued the path to the exit, Bill stayed with the terminal looking at it with fury if irritation reached high levels, "you, piece of shit-"

[You die here and you will never return]

Bill remained silent looking at the message, to die... here in this place where nobody knew of his existence? He looked in silence while the message continued suspended on the screen, Bill growled giving the machine a light blow.
"No I will die, you heard" he said as he walked away from the machine with anger in the direction that V1 went, however a feeling in his mind got stuck and twisted, he will not die here and he will never do so.
Bill ran with V1, the walk is silent, only the ambient noise fills the place, the red architecture makes his eyes alert, any enemy can come out at any moment, they reach another elevator where V1 goes down without stopping, Bill grimaces at having to go down again and go through the same thing... again.

As he got off with another backache, the elevator doors opened showing the new landscape that left Bill blank, the place unlike the previous one was white with snow and ashes falling from the cloudy sky in front of a cement path that led to some place with a bunch of tombstones of different shapes around it, in addition to the fact that in front there were four strange white trees, his gaze went to V1 who seemed to contemplate the place. "Violence." A new level of hell.

As Bill walked around the surroundings the ashes and snow fell dirtying his blond hair, even the black parts were almost white because of the amount that fell from the sky, V1 as always did not seem to care, the atmosphere felt too calm, very suspicious, the places of hell gave an atmosphere of alert, always having to watch the corners for any enemy that comes out, but here everything is too... surreal, it is even calmer than purgatory, the cement as well as his hair was filled with snow, that made him remember gravity falls in times of december, a fleeting memory where a young and happy Ford went out even at several hours of the night to discover mysteries, a moment in which Ford was so amazed to discover the unknown that when he saw him in that forest he knew he had something special, a smile, a game, little lies and cruel looks a moment where Ford was left outside to freeze to death.

And it's all his fault...

Just like snowflakes fall to be forgotten, sometimes there are small moments when it would have been better to stay forgotten in the snow.

Bill looked at his boots that were covered with snow, despite only having a short-sleeved shirt he didn't feel cold but he didn't feel hot either, it was a moment of silence, as if he were in a trance, the color blue passed by his sight, V1 stood beside him in silence, after a few seconds Bill sighed and continued moving forward. There was no reason to turn back anymore, he knew that when he crossed that portal.

They kept walking until Bill noticed that V1 stopped, he was about to ask V1 why he stopped, when he looked with his eyes wide open at the huge entrance in front of them. “What the fuck.” said Bill as V1 walks to the huge entrance, the doors slowly open with an almost silent screech, the machine turns to Bill and makes a sign, Bill almost frantically denied. “I'm not going inside what's there.” V1 tilted his head. He could feel that V1 was playing him for that cowardice, Bill almost laughed, he, of course not, Bill Chipper is not afraid of these mysterious things, but there was something that was not right, something is waiting for them.

V1 kept looking at Bill although his gaze did not express anything, he saw how his optics lower slightly leaving his vision with a dark half, Bill felt V1's tiredness, if he continues like this he will end up dragging him.

“Okay, okay, I'm coming. happy!” he said irritably, passing by V1 and entering the huge building.

The place looked like a large building made of marble, it was as big as a museum, although the place looked magnificent, it was a labyrinth. Bill was not surprised that it was obvious that the further down he went, the more chaotic it would be, although the feeling that something was wrong continued to grow with each step he took, as if this were a trap. Even so, V1 continued to move forward without suspecting that something was very wrong.

“Hey, don’t you notice?” Bill said to V1, who turned around, tilting his head. Bill raised his arms up. “This place looks like a trap.” Bill said in frustration. V1 tilted his head even further, which left Bill with a strange feeling. After a few awkward moments, V1 continued to advance. Bill dropped his arms and continued to advance, taking his weapon ready to shoot any enemy. Stupid machine.

The place was huge, a labyrinth of hallways and passages, the white color almost made it confusing since its architecture was identical, of course Bill noticed it more and it made him more confusing, meanwhile V1 seemed not to be confused about which path to take, at least he knows where to go? Bill kept looking at the architecture staring at any detail in case something strange came out of some corner, the place being white had an advantage, the enemies were easy to see and easier to locate with their moans and noises they made, even so Bill felt that with a common gun he was not going to do so much damage to them, V1's weapons were perfect for these enemies while with him he surely tickled them, he cursed himself for being a simple mortal, at least with some power he possessed he could face an enemy with more confidence. He felt useless, at first he thought that being with the Pins made him feel that way, but the more he spends in this hostile world he is realizing that wherever he is, he feels disposable, useless, an object that is useless and does not help in anything.

Great, now he's getting depressed in his mind, as he walks through a maze and possibly someone will kill him for being distracted.

His eyes now wandered to V1 who continued walking calmly as if it were a walk in the park, there was something about him that made Bill feel chills, he could be very expressive but at the same time he could be so cold that he felt like a lifeless machine and there was only death and destruction in his path. V1 was a war machine, if he was that explains a lot of his behavior and interactions, yet he was still a mystery to Bill, more than Ford was.
How did he meet an archangel? Was he his enemy and they became friends? Did he find him as an abandoned dog and adopted him? Many questions and few answers. But something was clear in Bill's mind, the machine was refilling with blood, any enemy he kills quickly will be stained with blood, any stain that falls simply disappears leaving him almost clean.

Bill has never seen anything like this, not even in other universes that he has visited, it gave him chills to know that this world was not made for him and his reality, it did not fit, it would just crash and make chaos everywhere.

Here there was no god to play or take care, here the place felt almost... dead, as if it was trying to get up but every time it tried to defend itself, V1 appeared and killed everything in its path, will it continue like this until the end of its days?

V1 looked at the entrance of a long room, there in front of him was placed in a not at all suspicious way a blue skull, V1 entered with his gaze fixed on the skull followed by Bill behind, while Bill looked at the floor thoughtfully boy with V1's back, "hey why do you-" Bill's voice closed suddenly when he saw what made V1 stop, in front of them was a group of mannequins but not like the usual ones you saw in stores, they were made of many inverted parts and extras, with white and red tones, which what Bill deduced was blood, they were still in uncomfortable positions, V1 looked at Bill with the same state, he could distinguish a small yellow ball that shrank and became normal again in V1's "sight."

Bill just gulped and continued to advance cautiously alongside them. Bill could see an almost red glow on V1's wings. He was on alert, so due to his persuasion this was something new for V1, since with any enemy V1 had not been overly alert. This was something new for them and it terrified him.

Just when V1 arrived with the blue skull he observed it carefully, Bill placed himself closer to V1 looking at the mannequins, just when V1 was about to grab the skull, Bill held V1's hand causing V1 to look at him almost threateningly, "are you sure it's a good idea, I think they won't like it." V1 looked at the mannequins still in the same position.

"Look, I know you're a super killer and resistant machine, but I'm not, okay." Bill said almost nervously, he didn't know what they were facing and Bill wasn't yet ready to face something new with a gun that here looks like a toy, Bill turned to look at V1 and froze when he saw that he already had the blue skull in his hands, there was a moment of silence, when Bill could only say "shit." after that all the mannequins moved in his direction.

Meanwhile in the cloudy skies an archangel flew almost close to the clouds, he knew that V1 was able to take care of Bill and he knew that this machine was almost indestructible, not even he could beat him, despite everything he did it was as if he was destined to defeat whenever he fought with him, Gabriel stopped in a building almost tilted, looking around he could feel melancholy thinking that this place once full of life, now an abandoned and dead place because of the machines that never settled for little, V1 was the same but at the same time so different.

But he knew that his thirst for blood would grow when hell dries up and then he would go to heaven for more... That was what scared Grabiel, he already knows that he could never step a foot on top but it doesn't mean that he will let the machine destroy his old home. However, despite this fear that is still present, she knows that the machine is not as sadistic as most people believe, even though its survival is at its highest, as well as its nature, she knows that it has a docile part, a part that loves and that only she had the privilege of knowing it.

You could say that it was V1 who opened his eyes, the truth of the advice is still a hard blow that has not healed yet. But as long as the machine is by his side, life does not feel so bleak.

Grabiel flapped his wings taking off into the sky…

As he explored the surroundings, flying over a forest the sky turned into a starry night, the stars did not shine as bright as other nights but that did not bother Grabiel, nights are not always bright, as he wandered through the forest looking for a perfect place to rest, a light on the horizon caught his attention, it was bright and too strong to be the machine… wait was it a light pole?

Gabriel flew straight ahead, if he had his eyes in sight he would roll them at the sight he never thought he would see for a long time, a small town, in perfect condition, “what the fuck-?” Gabriel slowly descended, is he dreaming? He looked around, it was real, the cars in perfect condition, the shops, streets, everything was fine.

Where the hell is he? Gabriel has flown for thousands of kilometers and he has never seen this town and one in good condition, just when it seemed like he was in a dream a car hit him, he came out unharmed, the car well… not so much. “Hey what’s wrong?” said an almost drunk man coming out of the car window angrily, yelling at Grabiel for not moving. “I-I’m sorry.” Gabriel took out his wings and flew back to the sky ignoring the man who kept yelling. I think he has a new problem and a very serious one.

Chapter Text

Ship hits the rough water fiercely. Grabiel was looking with his arms crossed at the stormy ocean, his years of light shining for others now there was only silence and despair left behind, the end of everything.
The mechanical noise at his side and his hours counted, V1 say nothing while the ship continues without advancing to any specific place.

Gabriel looks from the ground where a strange shape can be seen in the middle of the mountains as if an object had hit it with enough force to break the stone, it is so wonderful. Throughout his journey he has only seen ruins of what was once the world, even before that the war devastated many places, being in this place is so… liberating, it is as if for the first time he were enjoying the fresh air, the birdsong and the lights of the cities.

Gabriel never admired humanity when it was alive and it was too late when he wanted to meet him, the creations faithful to the lord, powerless to not be able to do something about the war and the extinction and now he is gone… he abandoned them.

Now that he sees them, this world in calm, he can think that in this world things did not happen like in his. The wars, the machines, the extinction.

None of that happened and never will.

Humans did not find hell.

Hell was never touched.

The cool wind blows on Grabiel's wings, the landscape seems so magical that words fall short. Is this the wonderful world that Bill had so much contempt for? Or is it another one where life doesn't need bloodshed to prosper?

The feeling of freedom, the feeling of excitement knowing that in this world humanity has another chance to live. Is it that in this world God never abandoned them? Was that what their creator wanted for them so much?

What went wrong in their world for it to end up like this?

What did this world do to make it so wonderful.

Grabiel sat on the cool ground, he knew that no one would give him the answer and he didn't need it, whatever this world is, it's lucky and that's how it should be, comparing it to his own is like buying the water of a lake, even if they are the same, they are not the same. The sun was at its highest point, the wind blew so softly that the grass moved in an almost elegant way, it reminded him so much of the sky, so beautiful, from its wooded landscapes and a feeling of tranquility, but even this place had such a special touch that the sky would envy them.

The peace that the place transmitted was undoubtedly unique, a perfect place to take a vacation.

Grabiel decided to stay a little longer, just a little bit, after all this desperate walking around he won't find the door back home.

Mabel ran out next to Dipper, the brothers said goodbye to find the materials to be able to assemble the machine that will help them track the cracks and find Bill, but they needed a adhesive too strong to stick the pieces together and guess where they find that, yes it is in a spaceship buried under the ground.

Dipper had told Mabel about the ship after the summer vacation, she complained why he didn't tell her before. The boys ventured through the forest as quickly as possible to get there as soon as possible, they had to hurry and be able to rescue or avoid another Weirdmageddon, either of their two options were terrible, luckily finding the adhesive was easy, now that they knew the dangers it was easy to avoid them and be careful.

Enter, find the adhesive, get home, create the tracking machine, find Bill and return home.

The plan was ready, there is no need to complicate things.

Meanwhile the children ran towards the spaceship, an angel was lying on the ground. Grabiel kept looking at the beautiful blue sky, the clouds formed curious figures, a deer, a snake, a triangle, a lamb, a strange figure with a crown, a cat.

And the figures continued, if V1 were there he would surely be confused by this, how could he give meaning and form to clouds? He would be laughing at the machine's confusion, while he explained to them what it was like.

He got up from the ground shaking off the garbage that was stuck to his armor, Gabriel would love to take off his armor and have his skin touch the cool ground, but he didn't want anyone strange to see him, although thinking about it, there was no one for miles.

Gabriel walked while he continued looking at the mountains, should he look for someone to help him?

He knew that if he returned to the town people would either get scared or start doing strange things, seeing an angel is something that would leave you in shock, and he wouldn't like to ruin this beautiful day for the people of the town.

*clang*

Grabiel lifted his foot, looked at the ground but there was nothing, he stayed silent for a few seconds, lowered it again more slowly *clang* That sound again?

Gabriel bent down and began to slowly hit the ground, the sound was metallic.
There is something down there. With his hands he began to continue hitting, until the ground sounded hollow, he found an opening in the ground and I lift it up.

When he lift it up from the ground there was a secret entrance under the ground. Grabiel looked carefully at the bottom there was something underneath.
This place apparently had a very captivating facade but in reality it hid a secret.

Grabiel looked around, which remained silent, it wouldn't hurt to take a look, the angel carefully went down into the unknown tunnel, intrigued by what he would find.

Mabel and Dipper just arrived at the place, Mabel was surprised by the beautiful landscape, Dipper continued explaining why the mountains had the strange shape.
While he wrote things down in his diary.

“Hey Dipper you said there was no one here right?” Mabel said, Dipper was still writing.

“Of course Mabel why?” Dipper looked at his sister who pointed in front of them, seeing Dipper's eyes widened in surprise, the entrance was open, just opened.
The siblings looked, moving forward slowly while Mabel took out her hook and Dipper grabbed a branch that was lying on the ground. Dipper was the first to see the entrance, there was no sound or light downstairs, no one was supposed to know about this. Who could it have been?

“Hellooooo!” Dipper got exalted when he heard his brother's scream that echoed inside the ship. “Mabel what are you doing? We don't know who's downstairs?” Dipper scolded his sister, Mabel for her part didn't care.

“Don't worry Dipper, it could just be an explorer. It wouldn't be strange if they discovered him later”
Mabel slowly descended the stairs, Dipper looked worried.

“But Mabel, the place is dangerous-”

“Don't worry Dipper, we are mystery twins right?” Mabel shouted from below, Dipper smiled trying to divert his nerves and worry. They have already faced many enemies and even saved the world. They can handle this.

Dipper slowly goes down the stairs, waiting for anything in the darkness.

When he goes down the place it was dark, there was no light other than the one that peeked through the entrance door above, inside the UFO the place was silent, the grass covered some parts of the machinery and other areas were blocked, Mabel and Dipper did not waste time and quickly advanced to where the adhesive was.

“Do you see something Mabel” said Dipper in a whisper, she turned to see him and shook her head. “Nothing yet” the twins continued advancing until they reached where the adhesive was flowing.

“It's here.” Dipper took out a jar and carefully took a small amount, while Mabel continued to illuminate the corners of the ship with the lamp, intrigued by the place.

“It seems that there is no one…” Dipper closed the jar and nodded. “That's what it seems, possibly someone came in and then left without closing the door.”

“Yeah, let's get out of here, then-”

*crash!*

The siblings froze, silence reigned over the place for a few seconds until a growl was heard, Mabel and Dipper quickly took out their weapons and approached the mysterious noise.
While they looked hidden in a corner, on the other side a blue light illuminated the place with a glow that felt almost magical, Mabel and Dipper looked in amazement at the beautiful and majestic being in front of them, a shiny gold and white armor, with a helmet that covered its face, its transparent blue wings shone with warmth, it was something that neither of them had ever seen, Mabel was amazed, and Dipper was just intrigued by this new creature.

They couldn't deny it, it had an almost mystical aura, its appearance was familiar, like that of an angel.

The being collected some fallen pipes from the ceiling that were surely responsible for the noise, he began to put them in their place, trying to prevent it from falling.
The children continued to look at the entity until Dipper accidentally pushed a loose tube which made the creature look at them, Dipper quickly went to speak but so fast that not even Dipper could process the creature disappeared.

“Damn” said Dipper as he looked around, Mabel grabbed his shoulder in a friendly manner. “Maybe it went outside” Dipper nodded, grabbing his things they both left the ship as quickly as they asked, when they came out there was nothing.

“What do you think it was?” said Mabel still amazed.

“I don’t know, I’ve never seen anything like it” Dipper quickly took out his book and began to look through it, looking for some creature that was similar but none matched what they saw.

“Is it a new creature?” Dipper mentioned as he continued looking at his journal, Mabel approached as she continued looking at the sky.

“It looked like an angel” Dipper listened and closed his book, the creature looked like an angel but very different from what he thought they were, maybe a copycat?

“We should investigate don't you think?” Mabel said as she walked straight into the forest.

“but one thing at a time, we have to leave this to Uncle Ford, maybe he knows what it is!” Dipper picked up the jar with the adhesive, putting it in his backpack.

“Sure” Mabel shouted from the distance as Dipper followed her.

They might see the creature again.

On the way the boys took slow and calm steps, Mabel was lurking around a song, while Dipper was making notes in his diary.

“Dipper, what do you think Bill is doing wherever he is?” Mabel said while trying to keep her balance on a log. Dipper glanced at his sister and sighed tiredly.

“He must be destroying things and manipulating people.” Mabel frowned but continued walking without saying anything.

“I think he's scared…” the sound of shoes stepping on fallen leaves
crunched in the silent forest, Dipper continued writing in his diary, a part of him would like to think that Bill changed and that he really is someone different, but all those lies and sufferings are not forgotten overnight.

And maybe this is a trap, to make his family suffer again?

Maybe he lied to his sister with his poisoned words but he will not let them poison him too. He hopes he's wrong, he really hopes he is. If not, he'll make sure his family is never hurt again.

When they arrived, the cabin was quiet, but a calm silence. The children entered and went to the basement, where their uncle Ford was. When they went down, Dipper looked at his uncle who was doing some calculations on a whiteboard. He, for his part, was working on the machine without rest. His tired eyes gave an indication that he hadn't slept at all. Since he found out that Bill had disappeared, he hasn't been able to sleep well. Stanley has tried to convince him, but it seems that it's not enough.

Dipper doesn't know if it's because he's worried that Bill was in trouble or because Bill could be a threat. Whatever it was, he didn't like seeing his uncle so worn out. Mabel also had the same concern. Dipper coughed to get his uncle Ford's attention.
Ford's eyes looked disoriented for a second until his sight was fixed on his nephews.

“Oh they found it” a smile formed on his face, the children nodded and the dipper handed him the jar. “Here it is, enough to make the machine” Ford grabbed the jar and examined it carefully.

“I'm surprised, we had a hard time last time going for it, I'm glad you didn't run into any setbacks” dipper and Mabel looked at each other, the room fell silent as Ford looked on with his eyebrow raised.

“Well we did have a discovery”

Ford's eyes widened. “Seriously o-”

“More like we found a new entity” said Mabel interrupting.

The room fell silent.

“What?!"

“If it was something new, we had never seen a creature like that” Dipper was very excited.

“If it was something angelic” said Mabe waving his hands in the air, Ford blinked still bewildered. “This is strange, there were no creatures on the ship, well not alive”

“It may have something to do with Bill's disappearance” everyone in the room looked at Mabel in surprise, and if she is one of Bill's new henchmen or the one responsible for his disappearance.

“We have to find him, maybe he knows something about Bill” said Dipper but his uncle quickly denied it, looking away at his board.

“No, it's very dangerous, we don't know what we're facing, maybe Bill's disappearance is the beginning of something more dangerous”

Dipper tenses up upon hearing those words. “Do you think Bill wants to conquer the world again?”

Ford turned around looking at the children seriously. “Possibly, but until we find him, we will never know the truth”

The lights of the city of Lust shone with so much life, the sound of its inhabitants celebrating and having fun, they were not aware that this was the last day that the city would have its king.
Oh Lust really was beautiful despite being in hell, it was full of life, maybe its king was not perfect but he did his best to keep the kingdom in harmony.

The ship pushed aside with force, causing V1 to hold on, after the shake Gabriel's prayers were fading away. There was no one left to pray to, there was nothing left to do, his hours were numbered and the only thing left was to wait for his end.
V1 knew it, when he died, the machine would continue until hell was done.

Grabiel was so angry, his anger burned like fire, he wanted to scream, cry, break things. Anything to forget this pain in his chest that made him feel weak and helpless.

His legs could no longer resist and he fell to the wooden floor, there was nothing left to pray to.

From the torrential rain, the machine was standing with an expressionless look, it was so difficult to know what it was thinking. Was it mocking him? Is this how it wanted to have him under its feet and consume him until the end of time?

Oh, so cruel love, so cruel was the creation of war made by the hands of man, his only goal was blood, he didn't care if Grabiel died, he only cared that his bag of blood would never end.

He had had enough...

If he was going to die it would be receiving a bullet from his enemy, drowning in the forgotten sea.

Grabiel got up from the ground, he was so exhausted, he didn't have the strength to fight but he did have the strength to scream.

"Okay machine, I'm ready." They tilted their heads, Grabiel's anger was coming back to the surface.

"Come and kill me, finish what you started from the beginning" he stretched his arms ready to receive the bullet, the machine didn't move, the clearer light seemed to get smaller.

"What are you waiting for, is this what you wanted what you want so much? come and finish this once and for all"

The machine stayed for a while without any movement, what was it waiting for? Grabiel stood still as he watched them turn around.

Coward!” he shouted as his fists clenched.

“Piece of shit!”

The machine kept moving forward, Grabiel following slowly.

“Tell me why? Why did you let me live?”
Suddenly the machine stopped and looked at Grabiel again.

“Why me? Why? I know I did many cruel things, but I don't... I don't deserve this mercy!.”
Grabiel took out his two swords, it was so hard for him to hold them and the rain didn't help.

“Tell me, when you think to stop machine, until everything dries and then what? Will you have me as an object? As your food?”

The machine still didn't respond, how was it going to respond if Grabiel didn't even know if it had feelings or not, it was so confusing, it made Grabiel so confused.

“Well, let's finish this once and for all, if I'm going to die it will be here and now!”
He rushed to attack the machine, they quickly took out their weapon and-

Chapter Text

The hallways of the grand mansion were silent, however, the sound of the wind whipped furiously through the trees moving from side to side. Slow, harsh footsteps creaked the forest floor. The cloudy night hid the threat advancing on the grand mansion.
In one of the many rooms, the blonde girl slept peacefully in her bed, oblivious to the noise outside. Unfortunately, a loud noise woke her up. The sleepy girl opened her eyes as she tried to check the time, even with a blurry vision. At 3:10, the girl didn't care much about the noise or the time. However, her parents had gone on a trip. They said they had business. Curious, after the bankruptcy, they were still trying to save her last name. A strange feeling made her feel insecure about the mysterious noise. She wanted to make sure it was a raccoon and nothing else.

The girl got out of bed, took a lamp out of one of her dresser drawers, slowly left her room, and headed downstairs. The mansion had a heavy, almost terrifying atmosphere. The blonde didn't blame him; so many things that had happened on this mansion had made it unsettling, although she'd gotten used to the feeling.

A door creaked behind her. The girl gripped the lamp tighter and, with slow steps, reached the source of the noise: the kitchen. There was nothing there. The place was the same as it had been that morning. There was nothing lying around, just darkness. The girl let out a sigh. However, a growl behind her stopped her. The girl froze, the growl echoing in her ear. She turned around slowly, illuminating the creature behind her.

The deformed greenish creature opened its mouth, full of sharp teeth, letting out a terrifying growl. The girl threw down her lamp, screaming in fear, while outside, the storm was just beginning.

Dipper sat on the couch, drawing in his journal the strange and majestic being they'd seen on the alien ship. He made an initial design, but when he didn't like it, he erased it and started over. He bit the eraser on his pencil as he memorized the angel's appearance. Was it really an angel? Or an imitator?

Since Armageddon ended, many strange things have arrived in Gravity Falls, coming from the dimension of nightmares. Of course, they didn't stay in the town, but maybe some have hidden there.

Dipper had many questions, and unfortunately, none for her. She had armor that covered almost her entire body, and her wings were almost transparent blue. Were her wings made of light, or did they have a physical form so she could touch them without piercing them? Did her chest have a symbol? Or were they just lines?

How Dipper would have loved to have stopped the being and at least asked its name, but it seems that this intrigue will haunt him for the rest of the summer. Mabel saw her stressed brother staring at his diary from the doorway. She gave him a shove, pulling him out of his thoughts. She smiled.

"Don't worry, Dipper. We might see him again."

Dipper closed his diary, leaving a space on the couch for his sister to sit. "I don't know, Mabel. I have a feeling there's something else going on, something we're not seeing..." Dipper said seriously. Mabel looked at the television. The program was a rerun of Detective Duck solving a case. The man who saw the crime turned out to be the criminal. He tricked everyone and took advantage of it to create more chaos.

Mabel's mouth contracted into a low, curved line. Dipper caught his sister's expression. They didn't say anything while the duck, along with the policeman, arrested the thief. It took a few seconds until Mabel looked angrily at the program. "I thought he was the good guy," Mabel said, crossing her arms.

Dipper, on the other hand, already saw it coming. It was typical that the one who believed himself to be the sweetest and secondary being turned out to be the worst. It didn't always happen, but it was almost recurrent.

Mabel, still with her arms crossed, mentioned, "Maybe we still need to find him..." Dipper looked at Mabel for a few seconds before realizing what she meant. "You're right."

The program continued as the noise of the wind grew louder. The siblings noticed it, still sitting on the couch. The lights flickered along with the TV, which had turned off. Quick footsteps were heard approaching them. When they turned around, their uncle Stan was still in his suit, trying to catch his breath with his hand on his hips. "Kids, you have to see this!" he said, still with agitation in his voice. The twins looked at each other.

As they followed their uncle out of the cabin, the sky looked almost strange. The clouds were swirling, and the wind was stronger than usual. A storm in the middle of summer? Dipper was confused. There shouldn't be a storm, much less one of this magnitude. Mabel, on the other hand, was amazed.

"Is there any explanation for this boy?" His uncle asked, holding the hat on his head and looking up at the sky.
"I have no idea what's going on." Dipper replied, worried.

The phone rang in the background. Mabel noticed it and ran to answer it. Dipper and Stan followed suit. When answering the phone, Mabel opened her eyes, almost terrified.

"Pacifica, calm down-" Mabel couldn't finish her sentence as her expression turned worried. Dipper and Stanley looked at each other in worry.

The flame cut out, leaving a perplexed Mabel. The room fell silent until Dipper broke the tension.

"What happened, Mabel? Was Pacifica?" Dipper asked, intrigued and worried at the same time.

Mabel didn't say anything until she came out of her trance and went to her Uncle Stan. "Uncle Stan, we have to go for peaceful," she exclaimed firmly, while Dipper became more confused.

"Wha- but is she okay?" Dipper asked, even more nervous. His uncle was equally confused. "Uh, I don't know, Mabel. I think Pacifica knows how to take care of herself."
Mabel shook her head. "There's no time. I'll explain on the way, but Pacifica is in trouble." Mabel looked back at her uncle.

He nodded and headed outside, followed by Mabel and finally Dipper, who was even more worried.

The three quickly left the cabin, got into the car, and her uncle quickly locked the car.

Along the way, the wind blew bits of trash and loose leaves. Dipper turned his attention back to Mabel with intrigue. "What did Pacifica tell you?" Mabel's gaze narrowed in a grimace. "I don't know. She was screaming that she needed help, but she didn't tell me what was going on." Mabel replied, terror on her face. She'd never seen Pacifica like this before. Something bad was happening.

Dipper's eyes widened as he wondered what could be happening. The mystery was the storm. Pacifica, something is happening, and something not very good.
"Okay, kids, we're almost there." said his uncle as they headed to the gates of the northwest mansion. From the outside, the mansion looked eerie, the lights off, in complete darkness. The Pines looked at each other as they got out of the car. Unfortunately for them, the railing was closed. "This is politically incorrect, but it's too bad there's no one around to sue." said Stan as he forced the railing open with his car.

Inside, the trio got out, approaching the door.
"Okay, kids, step aside. I'm going to break down the door," Stan said as he stepped back to break down the enormous door. However, Dipper stopped him. "Wait! I think that window is open," he said, pointing to a window with the curtains fluttering.

"Looks like someone broke the window." Dipper said, looking inside. The three of them carefully entered the mansion. The floor was littered with glass, furniture was overturned. Someone had entered the house, that's for sure, but who? The family no longer has the prestige and money it once had.

Dipper stopped when he saw a footprint. Blood, but not human. "Where do you think Pacifica is?" Mabel asked worriedly, while behind her, her uncle turned on a lamp, illuminating the place.

“Don't know, but we have to-“ a loud noise from upstairs caught everyone's attention, they quickly headed upstairs, the place was in chaos, jars and photos were lying on the floor, however that didn't stop them, they reached where a broken door was and when they got there, a small light under the bed caught everyone's attention, “Pacifica?” Dipper said in a low voice, the light moved and the blonde girl came out trembling.

“They’re here!” He quickly rushed to Dipper, giving him a hug, which Dipper reciprocated. His uncle was still illuminating the shattered place. “What happened here?” he said as Pacifica pulled out of the hug, rubbing her red eyes. “No-no, I don’t know, it was a horrible thing.” Mabel approached Pacifica, looking at her with concern but gently. “What thing?”

“I have no idea. I’ve never seen anything like it. It wasn’t anything we’ve seen before,” she said, still a commissioner.

“Are you sure?” Stanley asked. Pacifica frowned. “Of course, I know what I saw, that’s not from here.” Everyone was thoughtful. Dipper now had a lot on his mind. It couldn’t be that being that Mabel or him saw. Or yes, no, he couldn’t wait any longer, unaware of wanting to cause harm. It had already attacked them before.

Or are appearances deceiving? Or is this something more.

Suddenly, the growl made everyone turn back. Pacifica recognized it and began to back away. “It’s- again!” As everyone got ready, Dipper grabbed a piece of wood, Mabel pulled out her grappling hook, and Stanley pulled out his mittens, ready to hit. Everyone stood still as the growl slowly approached.

Just as he was next to the broken door, the growl stopped. For a moment, everyone thought it was gone when suddenly the thing came out, falling to the ground and writhing aggressively. Everyone stood behind Stanley, staring in horror at the creature.

"What is that thing?" Mabel screamed in horror. The creature had no arms and was trying to get up with its legs. Suddenly, another one ran straight at them. Stanley hit it with his fists, knocking it down. Another one came out trying to bite it. Stan hit it again, but it got up along with the fallen one.

"It's time to get out of here!" Stanley exclaimed, pulling the children out quickly.
More things came out of the darkness. Stanley hit them, knocking some down, but more began to come out in different directions. The children and Stanley quickly climbed out the same window they'd entered, heading for the car, as creatures leaped out of the windows and out of the car.

"Fasten your seatbelts," Stanley shouted as everyone closed their doors and put on their seatbelts. One of the creatures stuck its head out, smashing it against the window. Stanley sped up the car, leaving the creatures behind, who continued running, trying to catch up.

As the car spun around, heading straight for the cabin, "Is everyone okay?" Stanley asked from in front of the passenger seat. The kids nodded, agitated and scared.

"What were those things?!" Dipper said, while the others didn't even know what was happening. The car quickly left the city, heading into the woods toward the cabin.

"I have no idea. Maybe Ford knows. He's good at spotting that kind of thing," Stanley said nervously as he drove fast, constantly checking the rearview mirror in case one of those things was following them.
Suddenly Stanley screamed when a person crossed in front of him, almost losing control of the car. "What the hell?"

They all looked closely. The man was tall, a human, but with torn, bloody skin. He looked at them with a soulless, deep gaze. It was a matter of seconds when the creature began to generate a ball of rigid energy in its hand. "But what?" Stan stared in horror at the creature. He took the wheel without thinking and began to reverse it.

"Hold on!." he shouted to the children as he drove almost blindly. The wind continued to whip, tree branches fell against the vehicle's windows with great force. The creature launched its energy ball at the car, puncturing a tire, causing the car to skid and crash into a nearby pine tree.

Everyone watched in shock as another energy light emerged from the entity as it approached.
Stan grabbed the door handle, ready to get out and fight, when suddenly the creature stopped and, with a yellow glow, fell to the ground in two. Everyone stared in surprise until Dipper saw him through the window.

"It's him..." he said with relief. There he was, floating on the road. The angel. With two swords in both hands and his wings a bright shade of blue, brighter than usual.

He's back!

Without waiting, the angel launched himself at the greenish beings that continued to chase him on the road, slicing them in half with his swords in swift movements that not even Dipper could distinguish. It was as if he were being transported from one place to another.

"Let's get out of here." Stanley said, pulling everyone out of the car. Stan wasted no time and began beating up the enemies. Dipper watched as more beings with energy balls attacked the angel with them. However, it seemed that he wasn't affected, and he killed them so easily that Dipper couldn't contain his wow at what he was witnessing.

Stan slammed the last of those things to the ground, splattering blood on the ground. Stan had to stop himself from wincing; besides being ugly, they also smelled horrible, an indescribable aroma.
Dipper was still impressed by the angel's feat, along with Mabel, and peacefully, since she was no longer so upset, the being lowered to the ground, still holding his swords. Stan stepped forward, standing in front of them. However, this didn't stop Dipper from thanking the being for saving them.

"Thank you." the angel said excitedly, only to murmur a "Of nothing" Just as Stan was about to ask him, a beam of energy grazed one of the being's wings, causing it to fly into attack position.
It was Ford.

A very angry Ford had his weapon ready with another charge.

"Leave my family alone!" he shouted, pointing at the angel. The being readied itself with its slightly yellow wings. Dipper stepped forward, standing between the two, along with Mabel and Pacifica.

"Wait, Uncle Ford, he saved us from these things!" Ford looked at him, confused, noticing the massacre on the ground. His gaze shifted to the supposed angel, still suspicious, without moving his weapon.

"The children are right. He helped us." His brother approached him with his hands crossed. Ford looked at him and finally, with a sigh, lowered his weapon, causing the angel to lower his swords and descend to the ground.

"And what are you?" Ford asked curiously, his eyes narrowed. The creature became excited and, coughing, said in an almost soft voice.

"Gabriel, I am an angel of the Lord." he mentioned, causing everyone to stare at him with wide eyes and surprise in their eyes, a curiosity that was interrupted by peacefulness.

"I know everyone's getting to know each other, but there are a few who want to introduce themselves." he mentioned, pointing his finger at another group of monsters.
"You're right, back off," Stan said. As everyone started heading back toward the forest, back to the cabin, Manuel stopped dead in his tracks, staring at the creature.

"Come with us, you'll be safer." Mabel exclaimed, as the creature looked both ways, undecided whether to go or not.

He didn't want to get involved in human affairs; he didn't know what they were like in this world, but they might have the answers he was looking for.

"It's now or never. Let's go." Ford said to everyone. In the end, Gabriel had no choice but to follow the gang. He could have skipped a step, but maybe they're the only way to find out where he is.

On the way to the cabin, everyone entered. Ford locked the door, and everyone collapsed. "What do you think they were, man? I've never seen them before," Dipper said. Ford put his hand to his chin, thoughtful. "I don't know, Dipper. I've never seen them before."

"Maybe they're not from here," Stan suggested.

"Maybe he knows more." he said, pointing at Gabriel, who hadn't moved from his spot. Everyone looked at Gabriel. Gabriel, for his part, felt strange because of all the stares, but spoke with a firmer voice.

"Those beings over there were creatures from hell." he said, causing everyone in the room to fall silent.

Dipper looked at Gabriel with surprise in his eyes. "What? are we talking about hell?" Dipper asked.

Gabriel nodded.

"Yes, that hell. But not from this world."
"What do you mean?" Ford asked seriously.

Gabriel simply continued. "I'm not from this world; I come from a very different one." I hope I've made myself clear.

"Are you from another dimension?!" Ford said, his eyes twinkling, approaching Gabriel, who took a few steps back from the proximity.

Gabriel nodded, very uncomfortably.

“I can't believe it. This is impressive, but how is it possible? The only way you're here is through a portal that intertwines our realities.” Ford wondered as he paced from one place to another.

The rift, it seems, wasn't from parallel dimensions, but from a dimension completely alien to our reality. This means we now have completely new and unknown beings, which is exciting but dangerous, since there isn't just one gap, but several.”

Ford took his journal out of his bag. "Well, I'm going to have to run a series of tests on you if you don't mind so I can understand."

"Wait, wait, what do you think you're doing? I won't let you touch me or whatever you want to do. I just want to return to my world."

He said a little nervously. Mabel approached him and said in a low voice, "Don't worry. Ford has a special machine to detect portals."

"Really?" Gabriel couldn't believe how mere mortals had so much knowledge.

"Yes." Ford replied proudly, "but there are some details missing." He added before Gabriel asked why he wasn't using it right now.

"With that, you can return home."

Gabriel looked at Ford, still unsure if he was telling the truth or not.

"Uh, thanks, but I still don't know your names." Gabriel said, now demanding who his companions were. He understood that in their world, people didn't know about the existence of the supernatural or anything out of the ordinary, not until they discovered Hell, but they didn't seem to care.

So he was curious how they knew all this and had normalized it. Maybe he'd ask later.

"These are Dipper and Mabel, our nephews." he pointed to the children he'd previously met when they met on the ship.

"My brother Stanley." Stanley greeted with disinterest. "And my name is Ford."

Mabel coughed as she hugged the blonde girl. "And let's not forget our guest, Pacifica," he introduced with a smile on his face. Pacifica just looked to the side, embarrassed but with a happy expression.

Gabriel stopped. This family, there was something strange.

He quickly snapped out of his thoughts when Ford spoke. "If you'd like, you can stay. I have a lot to ask you."

Grabiel remained silent, accepting the request to stay as long as they didn't touch him.
He looked out the window; the air was still agitated.
"I'll call Soos for help with the truck." Stan said as he went to get the phone.

"We can have a sleepover," Mabel interrupted as she looked at Pacifica. The girl nodded.

"Sure, besides, my house is occupied..." the girl said, a little tired.

Grabiel remained silent, listening to the ignored sound around him. The storm transported him back to a memory of his past that he had long forgotten. It returned with that night. He remembers it as fresh as yesterday.

The same storm.

The pistol hit the wet wood. Grabiel watched in horror as his hands dropped the swords to the ground. His legs couldn't hold any longer and he fell to the cold ground. He knelt beside the machine. They had thrown the weapon to the ground. The bullet didn't even hit them, only fired upwards as a warning.

Grabiel could only hold back the tears that slowly flowed from under his helmet. He looked at the cold, still machine.

He looked at it, perhaps with fear? Machines feel fear? He saw it when they returned for the third time, and this time he wanted to deny it.

But now he feels so alive, so scared, how stupid.
His hands tore at the wood that creaked against his grip. His attempts to contain his sobs made him look so pathetic. So useless. So cruel.

“Why do this?” I ask the machine, knowing they'll never receive an answer.

“Did God know? Was this what He wanted for me? It's not… fair.” His voice broke as he shifted his gaze to the sea, choppy, wild. Angry.

“Maybe that was always the problem with everything…” His words whisper into the air, knowing he never answered.

Because he's already gone. He's already… dead.
And what will Grabiel give the answer? Nothing.

“Everything I did, I did for him, you know… for the advice, for him, for heaven, for me. All those actions only sank me beyond repair…”

“It was so selfish. I thought I was better than everything, the light, the right hand, the perfect creation… not so different from others…”

Grabiel looked at the wooden floor. His reflection was reflected in a pool of water. Its reflection moved, but it only looked at him. What remained of him.

Gabriel” turned around in surprise. The robotic voice woke him up like a thunderclap.

“What the f-!”

He was dreaming.

"Gabriel." the machine said again, this time not wishful thinking. "After all this time, you still dare to speak to me. How... insolent you are." Grabiel scolded as he watched V1 approach his level and sit down with him.
"Gabriel, why do you hate yourself?" V1's voice echoed in his head, and he gradually felt more dizzy.

"What a stupid thing to say, V1, why?" Gabriel asked as the machine drew closer.

"Grabiel, why do you hate yourself?"

He was perplexed, unable to speak as he studied the machine's words.

Because I hate myself.

I didn't know how to respond... I didn't even know the answer back then.

What should I say? I hate myself because I myself fell to this pit, the mistakes I made against King Minos only because I wanted a prosperous kingdom in the lust, or the ones he himself harmed with his arrogance and contempt. Maybe because in a very deep part, the machine was perfect compared to him.

"I don't know, V1. I don't know..." he replied just as he felt something warm against his body.

He was being hugged.

V1 hugged him. He could feel the hard metal body and stiff joints against his body, and how, despite being metal and soaked by the rain, he felt warm.

Has the machine ever hugged anyone?

Grabiel accepted the hug. The rigidity of the machine loosened, and they remained embraced together.

If this was the first time V1 hugged him, Grabiel felt special.

They remained embraced in the middle of that storm.

Grabiel returned to reality, V1. Perhaps the storm reached him too. What will he do when he finds out he's not home?

He only hoped these people would help him get back; otherwise, he'd have to find a way to get home. He also has to investigate why the enemies of hell are here; something wasn't right.

Hoping v1 are okay, as is Bill.

Now that think about it, What will they be doing?

Notes:

I'll try to post the next episode soon and not take almost two months to publish.

Sorry if there are any mistakes by any chance, I edited but I may have missed them.
