*rain sounds*
A young girl watches as water slides down the glass window .The window showed a reflection of the young girl.
Parts of the girls beautiful red hair was tied into a small pair of twin tails behind her ear , leaving the rest of her long hair down on her back . Her beautiful mercury/goldish eyes watching as the rain pours outside.
It's already late , and her brother had yet returned home.
As she was getting a little worried , she heard the door bell .
Relieved , she stood up from her spot , rush out from her room and went to the front door.
"Brother!", the nine-year-old happily said as she open the door for her brother to enter.
He was holding two bags of groceries and dinner , one bag with a big container filled with takoyaki , and the other was a yakisoba take away.
"Hey~Sorry did you wait long?", he smiles apologetically "There was a looooong line at your favorite takoyaki stall," her brother whined before his mood went gloomy for a second " and then rain came." he said with a deadpan expression.
Just then , the younger noticed that her brother was drenched by the rain. "I'll go get you a towel , brother."
"Hahah , thanks~"

"Here you go," her brother hands her a plate filled with her favorite takoyaki ,"eat them while they're still hot ." he said as he rubs his head with the towel he was given.
The younger couldn't wait to savor it . She thanked her brother and showed her gratitude before eating, "いただきます(Itadakimasu)"
They ate in silence. The only sound that can be heard was minor sounds of cutleries hitting the plates. It was fairly normal for them to eat in silence . Since young , their parents would always tell them to eat quietly, it is proper etiquette they say , if any noise was made ,it would lead to punishment. Ever since then ,it became a habit to them. Now , it's just the two of them , in the kitchen . Their parents may not be home but they would still hear their parents voice ringing in their mind , reminding them about what will happen if both of them decided to go against their rules.
This is just another day , another night , in the Akabane's residents.

The Akabane's are quite well known in the business industry .The current head of the Akabane's family ,Akabane Hikaru ( not canon) and his wife ,Akabane Airi ( also not canon) are both successful financial day traders , hence they are "free people" who spend most of their time traveling around the world, and as a result, they spend little time with their children ,Akabane Karma ,the eldest and Akabane Kaori (not canon),the youngest.
Both children inherited their father's cherry red hair and their mother's golden mercury eyes. Many have said that the eldest look like a carbon copy of their father , Hikaru, while the youngest looks more like their mother, Airi. But to those who knew them personally , would know that in terms of personality and character , both children were nothing like their parents .
Thanks to the parents neglect , and leaving their children home alone with enough money every month , they had developed their own personality through others influence . The eldest , Karma would sometimes get himself involved into local street fights , breaking rules or pissing teachers off at school , all of this earned him a reputation of a delinquent .
As for the youngest , Kaori would always hide behind her brother whenever she is scared or shy. Kaori is very quiet for her age , she is quite an introvert ,she rarely interacts with children her age and she never made any friends. All she does is study ,she never complained anything about it or following tiring rules unlike a certain someone . She has always been an obedient child , she never disobeys her parents (well not really ) That's what makes her parents favor her more. Though there are times when Karma tried to ditch study time to go to the nearby arcade , which Kaori surprisingly also went with him . They ended up getting caught and was punished to write 10 essays and was grounded for a week.
Right now, Akabane Karma is currently studying in his third year junior high in Kunugigaoka Junior High ,a prestigious private school located in Tokyo, Japan. It is renowned for being one of the top schools in all of Tokyo and has a high rate of successful students. Despite having good grades , due to his violent behaviour , he was sent to Class E after a week of suspension .
Class E, is the lowest ranked class of Kunugigaoka Junior High School where it is nicknamed the "E-as-in-End Class" and consists of students who either failed to keep their grades up (example:the students being -Kanzaki and Nagisa) or were punished for breaking school regulations (example:the students being -Karma and Isogai). Now this is something Karma would prefer to not tell to his parents otherwise they would go MAD mad , his parents would prefer to have their reputation clean . But since they're everywhere around the world except Japan and wont be coming back any time soon , he would just keep it a secret ,unless they ask , then he would have no choice but to reply honestly .
Meanwhile, his younger sister is studying in ________Elementary/Primary school .According to her classmates , she's like the mysterious nerd who is always seated quietly at the corner of the class , she barely talks , she only talks when she needed to. The only reason to why she is actually quite well known at school was because of her grades. Kaori is a top student who aced almost all of her exams, thanks to that almost everyone in school recognized her as the "Red hair top student". She may be the top student and many wanted to be friends with her , there are some who are also jealous of her , and due to her cold and unapproachable presence (she was just being awkward and silly ;P*this is satire*), many students distance themself away from her , afraid that she might come to bite them if they would even dare to breathe in her presence.
Because of the constant feeling of being ignored or left out, Kaori would always cling onto her brother most of the time. Wherever Karma goes , she'd follow like a lost puppy. Ever since Kaori was born , Karma was always by her side to play with her, to support her and to help her during difficult situations. 'He is the only one who understands me best' That's what Kaori would always think to herself .Karma was the only one she needed , her only elder brother , and her only friend.

It's been a year and a half ever since their parents left to the overseas.
Ever since then , Karma has been the one keeping the house from collapsing itself. You may be wondering , 'Do they not have a nanny to take care of them?' The thing is the last and previous nanny ran away after stealing a total of 1Million JPY from them .They were able to find her a month later in Australia , she was fined to 800K+ JPY and was sent to prison for 10+ years . Since then their parents didn't hire anymore people to look after the house ,saying that they don't need anymore people like them, so Karma is taking charge of the house .
Everything felt dull and boring before , until the day when Korosensei first arrived a few weeks ago.
Karma's life started to change , it became fun to go to school and he is actually interacting with people his age ,bonding with the rest of the class, cooking up tricks and pranks and thinking ways to kill Korosensei. Unlike being in the main campus, cold and feeling constant stress. Class E building is located one kilometer away from the main building up on a nearby mountain. The trail between the Main Campus and Class E, in addition to the uphill trek, is riddled with a number of natural obstacles such as snakes, bees and rivers, which is perfect for assassination training . It is also fun to parkour according to Karma. It feels airy and warm up there , it's like the feeling of being free. It felt nice . Karma is actually glad that he was placed in Class E.
Despite being a delinquent, he is actually quite a gentlemen, well according to the neighbours at least. He is also quite the nerd for studying , it could be the results for being pressured to study hard since young , but who knows , it could come from genetics. His parents would always tell the two siblings to study hard and get high scores and overall good results, all for sake of their future career they say .
It was never ending. Constant reading/studying , quizzes and tests. All of this to at least become a role model of a "Perfect family". Well that surely did not last when Karma first displayed his "delinquent/troublemaker acts" towards one of the children back in pre-school.
His parents blamed each other back and forth for his behavior, saying that he gets it from either one side of the family .
*flashback*
"Ugh another complain from the school?! Look at your son ! He's just like you when you were younger, causing trouble everywhere you step foot on!" His mother argued.
"Now you're putting the blame on me ? You raised him too! He ought to take after your temper!" His father shot back.
"WE raised them both TOGETHER ! Don't you dare try to push all responsibility to me only!" His mother's temper began to rise.
* both arguing *
*end of flashback*
They were constantly bickering with each other like there is no tomorrow.
Till then , they agreed to not bother much about his behavior as long as his grades are good , they won't interfere much. Karma never told them about his suspension when they had a call together. He thinks that they might actually go psycho mode and would actually lock him up at home, so he kept his mouth shut. Some things are better left unsaid.
Right now, both of siblings have slightly grown up nicely and matured (kinda) . Wondering how the future would play out .(this is a shitty way to end )

"Oh? Karma-kun! " one of the neighbours happily greets him, "going to school already? Make sure to cross the road carefully!"
"Ah! Tanaka-san," Karma wave at the kind lady's direction, " Good morning, and yeah , going to walk Kaori to school." he replied with a smile.
"Look out for cars!"
"Will do!" Karma replied back.
The front door opened , revealing the younger girl in her school uniform. "Was that Tanaka-san?" Kaori walks towards her brother .
"Yep," Karma said as they began to walk down the sidewalks, " she said to look out for cars at the street, " he continued walking towards a nearby vending machine, " so you better stay close." he tells his sister as he slips some money into the vending machine.
" Alright , alright . I'll just follow you."

The walk to Kaori's school is about 10 minutes. Kunugigaoka Junior High School is around 10 minutes away from her school. Karma usually takes the train there cause it was faster ,plus it was on the way with Kaori's school .
A few minutes later, they finally arrived to Kaori's elementary school.
"Alright , I'm going to go now , remember to ring me if anything happens, alright ?" Karma gave her a hug and watches as his sister enter the school gates .
Kaori nodded and wave goodbye to her brother,
"Bye bye"
And so their daily life begans.
