You get a call, suddenly interrupting your study session for your biggest history test. Right before you were getting to the first chemical spill in Valley Hills!
"Debbie! We're gonna chase the Valley freaks for, like, stealing our bugs!"
"I totally can't, I'm supposed to be going over radioactivity!" you yell back. "Sorry!"
"God, when'd you become such a NERD?" Debbie sneers in a way she only sneers at the Valley kids.
"God, when you'd find something else to do besides pick on the weird kids?" you snark back. "I can't keep picking on other kids all day like you do!" you angrily hang up, before going back to your worksheets. Alright, how many spills were there in the 18th century....
You turn on the TV as some background noise- oh, great, Debbie's dad is on TV. You already don't like the looks of the spinster that joins him, but you've got classes to study for. Only the best for the Phoenix heir, as mother says.
