Chapter 34

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Though their love was not known in their lifetime, Maia, Csethiro, and Csevet were known by history as the marriage that shaped the Ethuveraz for the better.

When their private papers were discovered a half century after the last of their deaths, and their love was proved so unambiguously in their own words, it became clear to even the most conservative historians that Edrehasivar loved both his wife and husband with a depth of passion that made him "a better man than he could have been without either of them" (in his own words).

In their time, Maia, Csethiro, and Csevet simply found it easiest to love each other all together. They could not see any other choice, really.
