Hero Academia Enter the Spider 2: Testing the Limits

Chapter 23: Stripping the Varnish

Chapter Text

Aoyama's question, one that rang through Ochako's head. "Are you in love with him?" Those irritating and embarrassing words as Ochako stood completely still, her face turning red.

"Hey, are you-" Videl went to check on Ochako, but the girl attacked on instinct.

"I don't have feelings for Deku!" Ochako shouted, not realizing she just punched Videl hard in the jaw, stunning the woman. Ochako noticed immediately, remembering she was in a fight. Suddenly Peter's words replaced Aoyama's as she remembered what he taught her.

"Keep the battle in your advantage, if you see an opening, take it and don't hesitate. Remember it just takes one mistake to lose, don't make that mistake, get your opponent to instead, and go for the punish."

Ochako quickly got into battle mode and went for a kick to Videl's knee to knock her off balance, then did a jumping round house kick to the head, knocking her a bit dizzy and kicking Videl in the back as she landed.

"Why you!" Videl tried shaking it off, but was left open enough for Aoyama to blast her with his naval laser, keeping the fight in Ochako's favor as she rushed in and did a leg scissors take down to Videl, slamming her to the ground.

"What in the world?" Videl asked, then found herself cuffed by Ochako.

"I hope I did you proud Spider-Man!" Ochako still had an intense look on her face. "I'll be a great hero, just like you!"

In his own room, Peter had a big smile on his face, he felt so proud of his student. "That's my girl, great job Ochako."

Back in the monitor room, Izuku was ecstatic to see Ochako get the win, "That was so cool! She managed to get a nice clean shot in and used that advantage to fully take down Saiyaman 2! Her martial arts training with Spider-Man really paid off! I could tell she used some of his moves!"

"I feel like there's more to it than that," Tsuyu said. "Ochako looked pretty flustered for a moment, and her sneak attack seemed more like her reacting to something rather than something she planned to do."

"You think so?" Mayday asked. "What could have caused that?"

"I think Aoyama said something to her," Tsuyu said. "Whatever it was, it really surprised her, or caused her some type of grief."

"Maybe he was going on about how twinkly he was, I'd lose my temper too," Mayday said.

Izuku briefly glanced at Mayday. "You lose your temper at just about anything." He focused back on the monitors. "Well it's too bad we can't hear their conversations."

"I kind of like that, let's you imagine what they're saying," Deadpool said, then mimicked Ochako's voice. "When I grow up I'm going to be a hero like you Thirteen! We're so much alike because you're an astronaut and I mess with gravity." He then mimicked Thirteen's voice, "You still have much training to do Young Padawan, within time you'll be just as awesome as I am." He then mimicked Aoyama's voice. "Look at me, I'm sparkling! This makes me feel better about myself even though I'm totally useless!"

That got a look of concern from everyone in the room, except Pinkie Pie, though seeing the others look uncomfortable did put her at some unease.

"There's something wrong with him," Izuku realized.

"Hope he didn't do anything like that with me," Tsuyu worried.

"Dumbass," Mayday mentally insulted.

Moments later, the door opened behind them, Tenya, Momo and Flurry walking into the room together.

"Ooh! I didn't know Pinkie Pie and Deadpool were here!" Flurry said, feeling excited.

"Yes, this is a pleasant surprise," Tenya stated.

"Hi Tenya! Flurry!...Er, Momo I think?" Pinkie asked.

"Yes, Momo Yaoyorozu," the girl introduced. "Nice to see you again."

"Seems like Uraraka won," Tenya observed. "I am quite happy for her."

"Yeah, you three passed as well, congrats!" Izuku said.

"I knew you could do it Flurry," Mayday said. "Tenya...I still can't believe you survived against my dad, but then again Tsu here survived against my mom."

"I don't blame you for your surprise, I'm still quite surprised myself," Tenya said. "I credit the weights, if they hadn't held your father back well..."

"Honestly it almost seemed like it barely did," Izuku said. "Honestly these weights haven't really slowed many of the pros down."

"So they're basically Placebos, great," Mayday lamented.

"Say how is Oujiro?" Izuku asked. "He took a pretty hard blow himself."

"He's fine, though he did mention back pain, I think Spider-Man hit him too hard," Tenya explained. "That speed is incredible through, and that webbing is quite hard to break."

"Yeah, even Tokoyami couldn't break it at the Sports Festival," Izuku said.

"Ochako almost went bald there," Mayday joked. "But speaking of webs, I couldn't help but notice that Momo there used some webbing."

"Well it wasn't exactly webbing, more like a similar substance," Flurry said. "But she got the idea from me and one of the web balls I had."

"So, it wasn't my dad's formula, you didn't tell either one of them how it worked did you?" Mayday asked.

Flurry shook her head, "I kept it a secret, honestly I barely remember it, too sciencey."

"As long as it stays in the family," Mayday said.

Deadpool snickered, "That almost sounded dirty." That earned him a glare from Mayday, the ninja quickly looking away and whistling.

"Wait, if you gave her a web ball, wouldn't it be cheating since-" Tsuyu's question was interrupted when Mayday covered her mouth with some webbing.

"Whoops, my mistake," Mayday innocently stated as Tsuyu struggled to remove the webbing.

"Mayday!" Izuku went to Tsuyu, trying to pry the webbing off, with Pinkie's help.

"This wasn't very nice young lady," Pinkie scolded.

Deadpool looked to the monitors, not minding Mayday webbing Tsuyu much. "So what team is next anyway?"

"Ashido and Kaminari are up, they'll be going against Rainbow Dash," Momo explained as she went to assist Izuku and Pinkie.

"They're screwed," Mayday said.

"Mayday you say that about every team," Izuku pointed out as he continued to help Tsuyu. "I don't think this will be any different."

"If you say so," Mayday said. "Still, at least one team is gonna fail, I think it'll be this one. Denki will probably use up all his power and turn into an idiot, Mina is a bit careless with her powers, and frankly they're probably the two dumbest kids in our class."

"They're not dumb Mayday, they just don't always try hard, but when they do they're really smart," Flurry said.

"Still, they'll probably get crushed by Rainbow Dash, they don't have Tsu's agility, Tenya's speed, Ochako's skills she learned from my dad or your magic, they won't make it," Mayday said.

"Well I want to have faith in them," Flurry said.

"Alright then, let's bet. Winner gets to kiss Izuku," Mayday said.

Izuku's face turned completely red as he completely stopped what he was doing, "Excuse me!?"

"Just kidding," Mayday said as she walked over to Tsuyu, pulling the webbing off her face, the frog girl lamenting the pain. "I wouldn't use you for a bet."

"Aw..." Flurry pouted, getting a curious glare from Momo. "What? He's cute. Remember what Rainbow Dash said, no girl would forgive All Might if he wrecked his face."

"Yes, I remember that," Momo said. She also remembered Rainbow Dash kissing him on the head during the Sports Festival. "He's not unattractive but I do wonder why Rainbow Dash seems so fond of Midoriya."

Tsuyu, who was rubbing her face in pain, also felt a bit bad for Izuku, "Midoriya gets so flustered around girls, he's even gotten flustered around me, something I'm not used to since most boys find me gross. Guess he's never been used to a girl's attention, or anyone's attention. I know how that feels though, maybe he needs more friends."

"Izuku racking up the ladies, this is gonna turn into an anime harem," Deadpool said.

"Can we please just focus on the next exam," Izuku said, his blush still visible. "I think it's about to start."

"Team Ashido and Kaminari, Practical Exam. Ready? GO!" the announcer said.

The two walked through a steel mill, keeping an eye out of where Rainbow Dash might be.

"So what's the plan?" Mina asked.

"Head for the gate, let's just be quick about it, she is pretty fast," Kaminari said.

"Yeah, but we are surrounded by large buildings, maybe that will give us an advantage," Mina said.

"True, kind of hard to use your speed if you have so much blocking your way," Kaminari said. "Hey maybe we can use that to our advantage, imagine if we cuff her."

"Oh yeah, I mean can she really be that strong? Isn't her husband the more intimidating one?" Mina asked.

"Actually, I am that strong!" Rainbow Dash's voice said, getting their attention, though they couldn't spot where she was. "I went against shadow kings and changeling queens." Her voice seemed to be coming from different angle. "I stood by my husband against shape-shifting aliens and narsissistic sorcerers." Her voice appeared right beside them. "I've seen things you kids have only seen in your nightmares!"

The two turned around when they thought Rainbow Dash was standing behind them, but she was gone. Kaminari kept his electricity ready, "Where is she?"

"Over here," Rainbow Dash said, but when they turned to where the voice was, she was gone. "No, over here!" They turned again, no one there. "Come on, you can't spot me? I'm wearing weights!" They turned and missed her. "No way your reaction time is that bad."

Mina looked around in frustration, "She's totally messing with us! Not cool!"

"It is a bit strange though," Kaminari said, keeping an eye out. "Where could she be?"

"Give up?" Rainbow Dash said, then appeared next to them, startling the two. "Here I am." Kaminari quickly zapped her but she moved out the way in a flash. "Missed." Mina tried using her acid but Rainbow Dash leapt to a nearby pipe. "Missed again!"

"Hey! Cut that out!" Mina sent some more acid, melting the pipes but Rainbow Dash leapt over, landing behind the two.

"Come on, you need better strategy than that!" Rainbow Dash said.

"How's this for strategy!" Kaminari rushed in with his electrcity. "Take this!"

Rainbow Dash parried the attack, sending his electricity flying everywhere. "You gotta work on your aim, seems like you scatter around."

"I got you!" Mina tried grabbing her with her acid but Rainbow Dash kicked her back.

"Don't give away your position, that's an amateurish move!" Rainbow Dash said, flying up to the sky and coming back with a cloud.

"How did she pull a cloud out of the sky!?" Mina asked.

"Part of my quirk," Rainbow Dash said. "I'm basically like a Pegasus of legend, the most awesome one at that."

Rainbow Dash, her quirk, Pegasus Speed. Like the ones in myth, she can extend her wings to fly, most with this quirk are granted the gift of speed, but Rainbow Dash went beyond expectations. If she tries hard enough, she can cause a Sonic Boom, one very unique to her.

"Well what's that cloud suppose to-" Suddenly Mina found herself barely dodging a lightning strike.

"A lesson in how to properly use electricity!" Rainbow Dash said. "I can create an entire thunderstorm, wanna see?"

"No way!" Kaminari shouted.

"Oh sorry, forgot to mention that was a rhetorical question," Rainbow Dash said, flying above and bringing down a bunch of clouds in impressive speed.

"Wow, it's like the weights are barely affecting her," Izuku said. "That speed is incredible, but those clouds? That so...unconventional."

"Rainbow Dash was a weather girl back in Equestria before she went pro," Mayday said. "In other parts of the world, a weather person just predicts weather, but in Equestria, they make the weather. If people want rain, they get rain, if they want sunshine, they get sunshine."

"That's...a bit unique?" Tenya said. "But doesn't that violate the laws of nature?"

"Yeah, it technically does, but if the Princess is fine with it, then I guess it's all good," Mayday said.

"You should check the factory she works out, it's so cool!" Pinkie said. "There's even a pool where they create Rainbows...just don't drink it."

"You tasted a rainbow?" Tsuyu asked.

"It does not taste like Skittles, that's for sure," Deadpool joked.

"I think Rainbow Dash is almost done with her plan," Izuku noticed.

After rounding up the clouds, Rainbow Dash started creating a massive storm over head, using her speed to kick the cloud for rain, thunder and lightning.

"She's nuts! Let's run for it!" Kaminari shouted.

"Where's the exit!?" Mina frantically asked.

"Uh...that way I think!" Kaminari said, gesturing east. "Let's hurry!"

Rainbow Dash continued her storm, but that wasn't the extent of her plan. "Think you can run? Think again!"

Not only did she continue creating a massive storm to distract the kids, she started appearing at nearly every possible angle, ready to attack, or mostly to freak them out as they kept running around.

By the end of it, but Kaminari and Mina looked exhausted, barely able to keep moving and had collapsed on the ground. The buzzer went off, "Team Ashido and Kaminari have failed the practical exam."

"Ha! Called it!" Mayday shouted.

"Don't cheer for that!" Flurry scolded. "I can't believe they lost! They worked so hard at the tutoring too!

"I can't believe they lost," Izuku said.

"That battle was so one-sided, Rainbow Dash is a fierce opponent," Tenya said.

"I think she went a little too hard on them," Flurry said.

Ochako had just come into the room, seeing the end result, "Mina's team lost? How?"

"Rainbow Dash was too much for them I'm afraid," Momo said. "She came in with a plan and overpowered them, not just physically but mentally."

"Aw, they must feel so crushed," Ochako said.

"Heh, it's funny considering the original canon," Deadpool joked.

"It is terrible, but at least you won, congratulations," Tenya said.

"Oh, thanks," Ochako said. "Same to you Iida."

"I'm so happy for you!" Flurry said, walking over to hug Ochako. "I was worried you were gonna lose, I'm so happy we're going to camp together."

"Aw, thanks Flurry, you're the sweetest," Ochako said, hugging back.

"Hey Ochako, what were you and Aoyama talking about toward the end of your match?" Tsuyu asked.

"Huh?" Ochako released the hug as took the time to remember his words.

"Tell me, are you in love with him?"

Ochako's face turned completely red as she frantically backed away, "Nothing! Totally nothing! Just a misunderstanding I swear!"

"Why is your face all red?" Tenya asked.

Flurry moved in close, her eyes suggesting she has an idea, "It was something major wasn't it? You can tell me at least, I won't say."

"It was really nothing! Don't worry about it!" Ochako nervously said.

"It must have been pretty big, huh Ochako?" Tsuyu realized.

The buzzer went off, signaling the next round, getting everyone's attention. "Team Koda and Jiro, practical exam. Ready? Go!"

Out in the forest area, the two students were waiting near the trees, Jiro making some plans. "Faith's quirk is similar to your own right? Do you think you can try and use yours against hers?"

Koda shook his head no and spoke in sign language, 'She's more experienced, I don't think I'll be as convincing.'

"Alright, if that's how you feel, I guess it's better to run then, sound good?" Jiro asked, getting a nod. "Alright, let's head for the exit, if we spot Faith, leave her to me and I'll keep her away."

The two started making their way to the exit, something observed by the kids at the monitory room.

"The practical exams tend to put students against someone they might struggle with, correct?" Tenya asked.

"Yeah, though I feel like this is more of a challenge for Koda than Jiro," Izuku said. "Faith can talk to animals after all."

"That's not all she can do," Pinkie said. "Watch and see."

As the two made their way through the forest, a bunch of birds came down at them, pecking at the two kids, much to Jiro's annoyance and Koda's worry.

"Koda! Can you get them to back off!?" Jiro asked.

"They're not likely to listen to you," came Fluttershy's voice. "They'll only obey me."

"What are you, their mother?" Jiro asked, looking around. "Where are you anyway!?"

"Right above you," Fluttershy said, the woman flying down with her wings. "Hello dears, welcome to my forest. Do mind my pets, they tend to be a bit rowdy."

"Wait, she can fly?" Jiro asked. "Is she part bird?"

"Actually I'm more of a Pegasus type, common in Equestria," Fluttershy said. "But while most of them are more for speed, I'm a bit on the nature side." She called into the forest. "Yoohoo! Come on out dear."

Within moments, a big, brown bear came through the trees, startling the two kids.

"No freaking way! Is that a bear!?" Jiro asked.

"Don't worry, he won't hurt you too much," Fluttershy said as she held her arm out for a falcon to land. "At least as long as you don't do anything to upset him."

"Koda! Run!" Jiro said, the two running in the opposite direction and the bear following after them.

"Poor dears, they won't accomplish much by running," Fluttershy said, petting the falcon. "Isn't that right sweet'ums?"

Pro Hero Fluttershy, her quirk, Pegasus-Nature. Unlike most of her quirk type, her ability allows her to more so communicate with animals rather than focus on speed, a rare breed indeed. She may be quiet and a soft speaker, but don't let that fool you, this sheep has a wolf's claws.

Jiro and Koda hid somewhere, hoping to avoid the bear as it passed them, the creature trying to sniff them out.

"You really can't try to control that thing?" Jiro asked. "I mean what does Faith have that you don't?"

Koda again used sign language, 'I don't have experience against someone else who can control animals, I don't know if I can take control away.'

"There's gotta be some animals you can control over her," Jiro said. "I mean-" Suddenly the bear had found them and grabbed Jiro in it's claws, this spoking both of them. "Koda! Run for the exit!" Koda wanted to protest but Jiro wouldn't allow it. "If you cross the finish line you'll pass for us, now hurry!"

Koda reluctantly began to run, feeling he wouldn't be able to much to help. This didn't go unnoticed by Fluttershy, who was flying overhead.

"He doesn't seem very confident in himself, poor boy, I know that feeling too well. But he'll have to fix that if he wants to go pro," Fluttershy realized. "I gotta push him, the way Rainbow Dash pushed me to be my best."

Meanwhile Jiro had struggled to escape the bear, eventually using her earphone jack to plug into her amp and let out a high pitched sound that hurt the bear's ears, allowing it to release her as she went to find her partner. "I hope he didn't run into any more trouble."

As Koda searched for the exit, his path got blocked by Fluttershy and her bird, "I can't let you leave."

Koda frantically looked around and spotted a couple of deer. He was not sure if it was one of Fluttershy's pets but he didn't really have a choice. He quickly rushed over to it, getting them to focus their attention at Fluttershy.

Obeying, the two deer ran at Fluttershy, with the intent to ram her. Unfortunately the animal loving woman just Stared at the two, stopping them in their path.

"You wouldn't turn against me, would you?" Fluttershy asked through her Stare. The two deer turned against Koda and ran for him, the boy jumping out of dodge.

"Wow, she's really good with animals," Ochako observed. "She took two of Koda's animals and turned them against him just like that."

"All she had to do was Stare at them," Tsuyu said. "Is that how she gets her power to work?"

"Not exactly, The Stare just intimidates animals so they don't turn against her," Pinkie Pie said.

"Is there a limit to which animal she can control?" Ochako asked.

"Depends, some animals can ignore her if their will is high enough, but it's pretty rare," Pinkie explained.

"Didn't she flip her lid once because the animals ignored her?" Deadpool asked.

Pinkie giggled, "Yeah, I remember that, classic."

"I can't see her getting angry," Ochako said. "What's she like?"

"You don't wanna know," Mayday and Flurry simultaneously stated.

"Sounds like I lucked out during my internship," Tsuyu felt. This sight was a bit surreal to her as well, while she spent a week with Logan and Fluttershy, most of her time was spent training with Logan, and the most Fluttershy did was take care of a few animals.

Back at the testing ground, Jiro was looking around for her partner, "Koda!? Are you still around here!?" She looked some more. "Koda!"

"My, how noisy," Fluttershy said, getting Jiro's attention. "My animals won't really appreciate that."

"Alright, you're really creeping me out lady," Jiro said, readying her earphone jack. "Don't make me have to-" Suddenly Jiro felt frozen when Fluttershy Stared into her eyes.

"Don't make you have to what, young lady?" Fluttershy asked, stepping closer with her birds and Falcon nearby.

Jiro struggled to snap out of it, something about this girl's Stare was very intimidating. She struggled a bit but eventually she was able to plug her earphone into a nearby tree and blasted it, Fluttershy and her animals back caught in the blast and were knocked over. Jiro then ran for it, not wanting to be around the animal controlling woman for too much longer.

Fluttershy shook off the blast, but looked around to see the injured animals. "My babies!" She turned to Jiro's direction, looking quite unhappy. "KYOKA JIRO!"

Koda stopped in his tracks when he heard Fluttershy's angry voice, it was the most intimidating thing he's heard. Fortunately his partner happened to find him as she ran. "Hey Koda!"

The boy freaked out a moment and relaxed when he saw Jiro, then sign language again. 'What happened?'

"She's probably mad that I hurt her animals, that woman is downright scary, and I thought she was too gentle to have been Wolverines wife, but something tells me she might frighten even him," Jiro said. "We need an advantage, but what?"

As Koda thought, he felt something touch his shoulder. He looked and saw that it was a spider, and began freaking out.

"What's wrong?" Jiro asked and saw that Koda had whacked away a spider and was cowering behind a rock. "Wait, are you afraid of spiders?"

Koda did another gesture, 'I don't like bugs.'

"Probably shouldn't tell Parker then, knowing her she might mess with you on that," Jiro said.

Back at the monitory room, Mayday seemed to have a devious grin, "So, Koji's afraid of spiders."

"Don't even try anything Mayday," Flurry said.

"I'm just joking," Mayday insisted. "Somewhat."

"Well his fear of insects and arachnids might explain why he seems so uncomfortable around her at least," Tenya said.

"Besides the fact that she's a brat?" Momo felt. It's no secret that most of the class didn't like Mayday, she was probably the second most disliked classmate, Bakugo still taking first, but it was pretty close.

Back at the training, Jiro did have an idea, "Bugs would be of help, if you were able to control them. I mean, I don't know if she can but they can at least put up a distraction." She turned to Koda. "Look, I know you don't like bugs but it may be our only chance, are you able to communicate with them?"

Koda reluctantly gave a thumbs up, 'I can'.

"Good, if we can find a few then-" Suddenly Jiro got rammed by a couple of deer, getting knocked over to Koda, the boy freaking out.

"I found you..." Fluttershy taunted, walking into view with a sinister smile and the bear right behind her. "Thought you could escape from me?"

Koda began to freak out, seeing someone so superior with his own quirk, he wasn't sure if he could pull it off. "What do I do? I...I can't talk to bugs. Well I can but I really don't want to, they're so..."

As Fluttershy got in close, Jiro tried sneaking a kick, which Fluttershy avoided. Jiro went for a desperate punch that Fluttershy blocked, then flipped the sound user over.

"I may be able to control animals, but I still know hand-to-hand combat, a hero must be well rounded," Fluttershy said.

Jiro got back up, "Koda, I know you can do this. You're a UA student, you can do anything! A hero doesn't let fear stop them!"

"She's right!" Koda started to resist his fear. "A pro should be fearless! A pro helps others even when it's hard! If I can't overcome a fear as little as this, how can I call myself a hero!?" Koda continued pushing his fear back, replacing it with determination. "I have to go, Plus Ultra!"

Jiro tried to attack again but Fluttershy stopped the punch, before any retaliation, Fluttershy noticed Koda preparing something. "What's he up to?" Koda quickly ran off, leaving Jiro alone for the moment, confusing the two. "Was this your plan? It won't work for long, my animals can find him."

"I honestly don't know what he's up to," Jiro said. "Are you going for the exit Koda? Or is it something else!?"

It wasn't long before the ground around Fluttershy began to shake. Looking down she saw that a bunch of bugs started jumping at her, much to her confusion. "What in the world!?"

"The bugs!?" Jiro asked. "Did he really..."

"Jiro!" Koda called. "Hurry!"

"Koda!" Jiro was pleased, but then realized something. "Wait you can talk!?"

"We have to go!" Koda said. "That won't hold her long!"

Jiro looked to the girl, seeing her trying to get the bugs off her. "Right, let's go!"

The two ran for the exit as Fluttershy tried shaking off the insects, doing her best not to actually hurt them. She gestured to the deer and bear, "After them!"

Jiro and Koda kept running, then noticed the deer and bear behind them. Jiro quickly stopped to plug her earphone jack into a nearby boulder, destroying it as the animals got close, long enough to stun them, allowing the two more time to run.

They both eventually made their way through the gate, the sound buzzer going off. "Team Koda and Jiro have passed the exam!"

"Awesome! They did it!" Flurry cheered.

"With such a unique idea," Izuku said. "Though I envy Fluttershy, I don't think I'd want bugs on me."

"Watch out for Mayday then," Ochako joked.

"I'm...not...a...BUG!" Mayday shouted.

"Yeah, yeah cuz, don't bug them about it," Flurry said, laughing to herself.

"I hate you," Mayday commented.

Fluttershy stepped out of the forest, the bugs now following her rather than crawling on her, "Good for them, they got through this and persevered, all thanks to that boy's quick thinking." A bird landed on her shoulder. "Of course it was teamwork that won the day for them. Kyoka Jiro is every bit as Logan says she is, and I think Koji Koda is one step closer to being comfortable around his classmates, and one step closer to fully believing in himself."

Later came Shouji and Toru, the two currently in a building, trying to sneak to the exit gate. It wasn't far away but Gohan was nearby, ready to do what he needed to do.

"I know you're both around, I can sense your energy," Gohan said, taking a walk to their location. "Whatever you're planning, you're gonna have to make it quick."

"We gotta move fast," Toru said. "If we don't do something, we're gonna fail."

"Saiyaman might be a bit on the eccentric side, but there's no denying his skill," Shouji said. "We're gonna have to-"

Suddenly some ki blasts hit the area surrounding them, the two quickly jumping aside and avoiding some falling debris.

"I know you're around here," Gohan again warned. "Hiding isn't going to help you forever, I suggest some offense."

"I think I have an idea Shouji," Toru said.

"Anything would be good right now," Shouji replied.

Gohan continued to scan around for them trying to feel their presence, "I can't sense too much since they don't have much as far as pure power, though it's their skills that'll need to make up for it. Regardless, I have to fully test their capabilities, I have to go as hard as I can."

Pro Hero, Son Gohan. His quirk, ki control. While not technically a power, Gohan has the gift of innate strength that comes with being half Saiyan on his father's side. His speed and strength are definitely worth mentioning, as he is one of of the most powerful men on the planet, or was at least at one point.

Gohan then heard some noise and saw that one of the pillars weakened by his ki blast got punched over. It nearly landed on him, but Gohan put his arms up and endured the collapsing column. "Nice try!"

Gohan punched the debris out the way, then saw Shouji running for the exit. He sped in and blocked his path, to which Shouji tried punching Gohan, the attack getting blocked. "No!"

"Gonna have to do a lot better young one," Gohan then hit Shouji with a forearm that knocked him over. Shouji tried escaping, but Gohan went on the pursuit, blocking his path yet again. "Not this way."

Shouji got up, trying to look around for any other options. Deciding the best choice of action, he put his arms up. "Guess there's no choice."

"You're not giving up are you?" Gohan asked. "A hero should not give up so-"

"I got you!" Toru shouted, surprising Gohan as she put the cuff on him.

What was even more surprising is where Gohan's hand was. In an attempt to stop her, he held his arm out with an open palm, when he felt something odd. "What in the-"

"SAIYAMAN YOU PERVERT!" Toru shouted, but before Gohan could say anything in his defense, he felt a kick right below the belt, the hero going down hard.

"Oh boy..." Shouji said.

Even back at the monitory room everyone could tell what just happened, the boys were especially uncomfortable.

"Typical anime girl reaction," Deadpool joked.

"Team Shouji and Hagakure have passed the exam," the announcer said.

"At least we won," Shouji said, still feeling a bit weird at what just happened.

Meanwhile at Capsule Corp.

"Ouch son..." Goku said, feeling uncomfortable.

"How disgraceful," Vegeta commented.

Kaiba however was smirking, "Ha, not so peppy now huh? You geek."

Back at UA High.

"I expected as such," Momo said from the room. "Hagakure is very good at stealth."

"And Shouji had the guts to face The Great Saiyaman head on," Izuku commented, everyone else agreeing with him.

"I'm just surprised she even got passed Gohan," Mayday said. "Underrated as he is, he's still a hero to be reckoned with."

"You're always surprised," Flurry said. "So far only one of the teams failed, so it's shouldn't be as impossible."

"Your classmates are more capable than you think Mayday," Pinkie said. "Have faith in them, at least most of you are going to that training camp."

The buzzer went off, getting everyone's attention. "Team Mineta and Sero, Practical exam. Ready? GO!"

"Hey Deku, Mayday, your match is up next, shouldn't you be waiting in the exam area?" Ochako asked.

"I should be, but I want to see how everyone else fights," Izuku said. "It's great seeing how each team uses their quirks. I also feel like I'm getting stronger watching them. Even the ones who didn't pass showed heart and determination, they showed what it meant to be a UA student, and I'm eager to see how Mineta and Sero handle this task, I just know they'll give it their best."

"Wow Izuku, that was a really nice thing to say about your classmates," Pinkie said.

"It was really sweet of you to say," Mayday said, then gestured to the tv. "Too bad they're losing."

"Huh?" Izuku looked to the monitor, both Mineta and Sero were scattered about. "Oh boy! They gotta fight back quick!"

At the exam sight, Sero was frantically swinging around, trying to find an opening to exploit, however the area he was in made it hard since there weren't too many high platforms. "He's too much! I can't find an opening to attack!"

"See ya bro!" Johnny said, sending a blast that Sero dodged. "Come on, I'm not even moving from my spot, put some thought into this!" Johnny smirked in satisfaction, "Not sure how much more they can hold out, even though I'm making it so easy for them."

Pro Hero, Human Torch. His quirk, Flame. An in-space accident in is youth gave him Super Nova capabilities. The more flame he uses up however, the harder his power control becomes. He can also absorb fire.

As Sero continued to dodge, Mineta peeked from behind a rock, a sticky ball in hand. "Alright, good. Keep distracting him Sero, I'll take it from here."

The little hero in training slowly snuck over to Johnny, both of his web balls in hand. Johnny continued to send fire at Sero, the boy now resulting to hiding.

"I can smoke you out dude!" Johnny said, tossing his fire everywhere, some of it landing near Sero, the tape armed boy trying not to let himself get noticed. "Hey if you won't come to me, then I'll just come to you!"

"It's time for my ultimate attack..." Mineta grabbed his sticky balls and made his move. "GRAPE RUSH!"

Mineta began throwing his balls at Johnny, the hero quickly dodging and throwing a fire ball right at Mineta's feet, stunning the little hero as Johnny flew in for a kick.

"Sneak attacks work much better when your opponent isn't expecting an ambush," Johnny said. Sero quickly rushed in and wrapped his tape around Johnny.

"I did it! Mineta let's cuff him! Quickly!" Sero urged.

"Got it!" Mineta struggled to stand, however he wasn't quick enough for Johnny's reaction.

"FLAME ON!" Johnny burned through the tape and sent two fire balls at the boys, not too strong to burn them but strong enough to hit them hard, knocking each one to a rock behind them. Johnny sent one more non-lethal blast to the boys, knocking them out cold and out of the fight.

"Team Mineta and Kaminari have failed the practical exam," the voice said, Johnny standing in the middle of the field.

"Was that it?" Johnny asked. "What a shame."

Izuku couldn't believe it, the two had lost "That's...terrible. I can't believe their tactic didn't work."

"They did start off rushing at him, it was kind of stupid," Mayday said. "Uncle Johnny's a member of the Fantasic Four, they're not called Elite heroes for shits and giggles."

"Mayday!" Pinkie scolded.

"You know what I mean though Auntie Pinkie," Mayday said. "Uncle Johnny's super strong, he's Top Ten in America after all. Point is once they lost the element of surprise, there wasn't much they could do to get it back."

"Still, poor Mineta, and poor Sero," Izuku said. "They must feel so let down."

"Well we don't have time to worry about them," Mayday said, getting Izuku's attention. "Our test is up, let's get to the testing sight."

"Yeah," Izuku turned to his other classmates. "I'll see you all later."

"You got this Izuku," Flurry encouraged.

"Don't give up hope," Tenya said.

"Have confidence in yourself," Momo said.

"Do your best," Tsuyu said.

Ochako took Izuku by his hand, the boy blushing a bit at the contact, "I believe in you Deku, go show All Might what you're made of."

Izuku gulped nervously, but maintained himself. "Alright."

Mayday grew impatient, and a bit annoyed that Izuku got all the attention. Seems like no one cares if she passes or not, not that she cares about them. "Let's go!"

Mayday pulled Izuku away as they made their way to the testing sight. As they ran, the two unknowingly passed by Peter and Twilight.

"There she goes," Peter said. "I hope she can get through this, same with Izuku."

"Let's have confidence in them, I mean, All Might should hold back a little after all," Twilight said. "It's only fair."

"Yeah, only fair," Peter said.

Back at the other exam area, Sero was trying to get back on his feet, feeling disgraced, "How humiliating, losing like that."

"Not as bad as what my wife did to two of your friends," Johnny said, then noticed Mineta sulking nearby. "You're taking this hard."

"Of course! Now I won't be able to go to that Summer Camp!" Mineta cried. "A whole summer without those luscious angels gone!"

"Huh?" Johnny asked.

"He means the girls, he wanted to spend all summer with them," Sero said. "Out in the woods, nothing but nature, possible hot springs."

"Ah, I see," Johnny turned to Mineta. "You a man of culture?"

"Man of...? Well, kind of, yeah," Mineta said.

"Ha, just like me, nothing pleased me more than being surrounded by smokin' hot babes," Johnny said. "I once drilled a hole into the girls' locker room to peep at them, including my eventual wife. Boy was that amazing."

"Wait, that was your hole?" Mineta asked. "I saw it the other day!"

"That's a weird way to put it bro," Johnny said, Mineta freaking out a bit. "But I'm glad my gift to male heroes was still in effect." Johnny said.

"Too bad for him he overreacted and got busted," Sero said. "The girls filled the hole up."

"Filling holes is a guy's job," Johnny joked, then walked over to Mineta, kneeling before him, "Want some advice, man to man?"

"Uh, sure?" Mineta said.

"It's good to appreciate a woman's body, it's one of God's greatest gifts to man, especially the sight of the two Bs, boobs and butts of course. Plus their curves, it's such a treat to the eyes, and when you get to hold them, and kiss them, and...well you know the rest," Johnny said.

"I want to experience the rest," Mineta said.

"Who doesn't," Johnny said. But, you have to be careful what you do with that gift. I used to love peeping at girls, I always flirted with them, I greatly commented their physique, but sometimes, that mindset could come back to bite you. So be weary of how you show your appreciation."

"Be weary?" Mineta asked.

"You see a girl, instead of getting all spazzy about it, play it cool," Johnny said. "A girl is less resisting when a guy acts like he's not interested. Play hard to get and the girls will come for you."

"Right...makes sense," Mineta said. "So, I should appreciate girls, but I should be quiet about it."

"Exactly," Johnny said. "Also remember this, women, lovely as they are, have feelings too, don't get carried away and treat them like their sole purpose is to help a guy satisfy himself. It's alright to have urges, but a real hero wouldn't make anyone uncomfortable. Never take advantage of a woman."

"Right, yes sir..." Mineta said.

"Of course I won't say 'no' to the occasional peeping, just gotta be stealthy about it," Johnny said, winking at the kid.

"Oh yeah, totally," Mineta said. "Still won't do me any good for summer."

"You got plenty of chances," Johnny said. "Sorry for blasting ya like that, just remember, if this were a real villain battle, you might be dead, which you should know since you survived one."

"Thank you sir," Mineta said.

"Yeah, thank you Mr. Storm," Sero said.

"It's Johnny," the hero corrected. "Mr. Storm was my father, Johnny is what my friends call me, and I'd like you all to think of me as your friend." Johnny walked off, feeling a bit satisfied. "See you both on the field of heroes one day!"

"Wow, what a swell guy," Sero said. "Almost makes me feel better knowing we got our butts kicked."

"Yeah...now I got some new techniques," Mineta deviously stated. "Even if I can't see my angels this summer, I will soon enough."

Meanwhile, it was time for Izuku to take his practical. With Mayday behind him, Izuku ran all the way to the gate where the exam would start. Waiting there was his second partner, Katsuki Bakugo. The boy's only acknowledgement being a glare.

"Izuku, can we really win?" Mayday asked. "It's not just our partner I'm worried about, do you think we can beat All Might?"

"We'll do our best," Izuku said.

The buzzer went off, "Team Midoriya, Parker and Bakugo, Practical Exam. Ready? Go!"

All Might waited at the exit gate, ready to see the three students he would be testing. This would be an interesting fight.
