Chapter Text
On a fairly cloudy day, you wouldn't expect much from the forest. Silent and chilly like you'd always think it would be. And that would've been true any other day!
Not today though.
Ragged breaths tore through the cold silence of the forest. Blood was splattered on a few close by trees, dripping down. It was fresh.
A gray hedgehog lay on the leaf covered earth, or well, he was gray at some point. His fur and quills were matted with bright red, his breathing uneven.
Silver's eyes were wide open, tears flowing down the side of his face, dripping onto the ground. Amber eyes darted from one place to another, Silver's hand tightly clutching the dirt as a way to ground himself.
For the first time in a long time, Silver was truly scared. Small twigs and pebbles kept floating to the air and falling to the ground so Silver's psychokinesis flared out of control. He had to calm down, but how does one calm their nerves after being struck like that again and again?
He was gonna die. He was gonna die alone and never be able to do everything he wanted to do. Silver was gonna die, he was gonna die and it would've been because of how stupid he had been. He thought he could make one mistake, but seems not.
How did things come to this anyway?
