Z stared the four down, then looking over at P. She glanced at the two disassembly drones beside her. K, a male disassembly drone with short white hair, sunglasses, and hoodie, and L, a female disassembly drone with a military like dress uniform top, and a short dress. Z broke the silence.
S.D Z: "K?"
K pushed his sunglasses down.
S.D K: "Yeah?" He responded calmy, looking over at Z.
S.D Z: "..Go get 'em."
S.D K: "Yes ma'am.." He sighed, taking off his glasses, and now rushing over to Uzi, switching his hand over to a blade. N swiftly blocked the strike with a blade of his own, shoving K away from him. K grabbed onto N and began spinning him around, throwing him rapidly into a wall. He rushed over and leaped onto N, the two struggling for victory. P crawled over to Z.
S.D Z: "You aren't the greatest, fighter, are you?" She snorted.
S.D P: "Just.. shut up and deal with this-"
S.D Z: "Fine.. fine, get to Mr. Jenson's office." She replied, a hint of amusement in her voice.
P nodded and opened her wings, taking to the sky and flying over to the main building. L, meanwhile, rushed over to V, leaping up into the air and nosediving down onto her, pinning her to the ground. V attempted to shake L off, but to no avail, which was followed by L jabbing V numerous times in the back with her tail, injecting nanite acid into her system. V screeched, now finally throwing L off of her as she frantically tried to get some saliva onto the wound, which she did a few seconds later. She now turned over to L, her eyebrows furrowed, and her mouth curled into a frown. V tackled L, and switched both of her hands to claws, as she began to viciously and effortlessly claw at L's visor, causing numerous cracks and dents to appear on it.
S.D L: "GET OFF OF ME-!" She yelled out in pure pain and terror, finally kicking V off of her, slowly regenerating her wounds.
Meanwhile, N and K continued to struggle for dominance in their scuffle. N, attempting to turn the tides in this battle, pushed K off of him and grabbed him by the air, dragging him over to a wall. He proceeded to slam his head repeatedly into said wall, denting the concrete and K's visor. K yelled in pain and quickly managed to turn himself around, facing N, and with his blade, sliced his leg off. N let out a pained grunt, now rolling away before K could do anything, regenerating his leg, and standing up. He switched his hand to an SMG, and dumped the entire magazine at K's chest area, aiming for his core. In what seemed to be an instant, K's core combusted, causing his chest to burst into flames, and soon enough, his entire body was engulfed by the bright orange void of fire and sparks, eventually succumbing to it, and dying, what remained of his charred body laying peacefully on the now dried up and burnt grass.
As this was happening, Z approached Uzi and Tessa, switching one of her hands to a chainsaw. Uzi and Tessa backed away, keeping their guard up. Despite this, Z, in an instant, grabbed Uzi by the neck and lifted her off the ground, slowly increasing the strength of her grip. Uzi let out a pained gasp.
Uzi: "S..stop..-" She groaned painfully. "Stop it..!"
Z remained silent.
Tessa gripped her sword, and attempted to strike Z, but to no avail. Z blocked with her chainsaw, not even taking her eyes of Uzi, as she shoved Tessa away. Tessa landed hard on the grassy field, now staring up at Z, then at Uzi. She crawled out of sight, Z still staring at Uzi. Tessa, in an attempt to confuse Z, did not intervene for a good minute, before suddenly, jabbing her leg with the sword. Z let out a yell, dropping Uzi, who by now was gasping for air, crawling away from her. She turned around to face Tessa, looking down at her as she stomped on her back, however held herself back a bit, as to not kill her. Tessa coughed out some blood, tears welling in her eyes. Uzi slung her railgun over her shoulder, now reaching for one of her pistols, firing it at the back of Z's head. She grunted as the bullet connected with her head, now opening her wings and picking up Tessa, taking to the sky, dropping Tessa once she reached a high enough altitude. Tessa fell rapidly, her eyes darting left and right, up and down. Time seemed to slow down, as her life began to flash before her eyes. The clouds ceased all movement, the wind at rest. It was beautiful almost, as the sun still reigned supreme over all, looking down at Tessa, as she fell little by little, second by second. Tessa closed her eyes, accepting her fate. However, death did not snatch her at that moment, as in what seemed to be an instant, N suddenly flew over and grabbed Tessa, hugging her close, seconds before she hit the ground.
Tessa: "..N..?" She asked, frightened, however a hint of relief and calmness in her faint, soft voice.
S.D N: "I've got you.." He said with a kind, reassuring smile.
Meanwhile, V began to stomp violently on L's head, oil and parts splattering and flying in the air, as if they were dancing with the cool Antarctic breeze. She then ripped out her core, holding it like a trophy, before crushing it mercilessly in the palm of her hand. She began to laugh maniacally, her old habits returning to her. The laughing ceased as she saw Uzi's predicament however, snapping back into reality, and rushing over to assist her. Uzi fired multiple shot's at Z, some striking her, while others missed. Z, however, seemed unphased with all of this as she continued to walk towards Uzi, regenerating her wounds.
Uzi: "What the hell..?" She muttered, confused and frightened.
V leaped onto Z, however she side stepped with ease. She grabbed Uzi and flew into a building, and then into a room. The room was wide, and grey in color. She tossed her to the other side of the room.
S.D Z: "We will fight, one on one, do you understand?"
Uzi: "And-" She was cut off by Z.
S.D Z: "And if one of your friends decides to intervene, I shall not hold back." She snapped at her.
Uzi nodded.
S.D Z: "You may have the first shot." She smirked.
Uzi fired multiple shots at Z, however she evaded it, appearing behind Uzi and bringing a blade down onto her. However, the impossible happened, Uzi dodged the attack and rolled into a corner, grabbing her railgun, and firing a shot at Z's chest, missing the center of her core by a couple inches, however taking out a chunk of it. Z coughed out some oil into her hand, staring at it.
S.D Z: "My my.. impressive..!" She laughed wiping the oil on her pants, as she regenerated.
Uzi now slung her railgun, waiting for it to recharge, as she grabbed a loose pipe from the ground, bringing it up in a defensive position. Z dashed over, slashing at Uzi with her blade, striking her shoulder a bit, but was barley blocked by the pipe, preventing serious damage. Z jumped onto the ceiling, crawling rapidly around the room. Uzi grabbed one of her pistols, firing a shot at her, causing her to fall down, however on her feet. She switched to an SMG and fired at Uzi, two shots striking Uzi's chest, but the rest missing as Uzi ran across the room, evading the bullets. Uzi now grabbed her railgun once again, firing a shot at Z, again not striking the center of her core, but taking another chunk out of it. Z fell to the ground, coughing out another portion of oil, regenerating once again.
S.D Z: "I'm almost proud.." She said heavily, slightly in pain. She got up. "I underestimated you, Uzi..- But now, I'll try a bit harder."
Uzi chuckled a bit.
Uzi: "Sure, sure. Go ahead."
Z suddenly appeared behind Uzi, sending her blade into her back, causing Uzi to collapse onto the ground. Uzi, now on her back stared up at Z, as she approached her. Z placed her foot on Uzi's chest.
S.D Z: "Well, you tried, did you not?" She picked at her teeth with the blade, walking over.
Uzi groaned, the blade doing considerable damage to the fragile design of the worker drone.
S.D Z: "But, you failed, and honestly there's no changing that." She shook her head, sighing. "It was fun, I'll admit, but let's just face it, you're nothing.."
Uzi: "Nothing..?"
S.D Z: "Nothing." She repeated coldly. "You're just a worker, a special one, but a worker at that. You're not a disassembly drone, you're just.. arrogant, selfish, idiotic. You lack common sense, and you lack understanding. It's a shame I have to kill you now, however, it would've been nice to have you working with P, these weapons you made are quite impressive." She nodded.
Uzi: ".. shut up.." She remarked bitterly.
S.D Z: "Excuse me..?" Z replied, almost amused.
Uzi: "I.. I'm strong..-" She said, desperately.
S.D Z: "Is that all you have to say? Is your vocabulary that limited now? It was one slice, man.. see? You can't make it anywhere in this world if you don't follow orders, you're just a worker drone..-"
The railgun glowed a faint green, Z did not take notice to this.
S.D Z: "Face the facts. You. Are. Nothing."
Uzi looked up at Z. 'Perhaps she was right.' Uzi thought, her mind plagued with fatigue and confusion. However, Khan's voice began echoing through the dark, lonely labyrinth of her mind.
Khan's voice: "It takes a lot of courage to do something as big as that.." The voice stated. "You won't get anywhere if you give up because you're scared, alright?"
Uzi: "Dad..-" She mumbled
Khan's voice: "Just think about it, you have V and N, and your genius inventions! you three are almost unstoppable."
Unstoppable. That word echoed throughout Uzi's mind. She suddenly snapped back into reality, Z was about to bring her blade down onto her.
S.D Z: "Good nigh-"
In an instant, Uzi grabbed her railgun and fired one final shot at Z, hitting her core fully at last.
S.D Z: "N..NO-!"
The railgun's bright, neon green light triumphed through the colorless room, blinding Uzi temporarily. Soon, the light faded, revealing Z's lower body, her upper portion blown off. N, V and Tessa ran into the room, looking at Z, then at Uzi.
S.D V: "Holy shit..-" She muttered in disbelief "You.. you did it- And here I thought you were some weak as-"
N punched her arm.
S.D V: "OW-!"
S.D N: "Shut up V.." He said, gritting his teeth. He now looked back at Uzi. "Are you alright-?"
Uzi: "I'm.. I'm fine." She said, out of breath.
Tessa helped her up.
Tessa: "C'mon, we can't waste anymore time..-"
S.D N: "Alright.."
N picked up Uzi and placed her on his shoulders, Uzi hugging him closely.
S.D V: "Awwhh..-" She said mockingly.
Uzi: "SHUT UP-!" She grumbled.
Tessa burst out laughing.
S.D N: "Hey hey calm down-" He chuckled a bit.
Tessa climbed onto V's back, her and N taking off, their eyes set on the main building.
