Chapter Text

Slow dancing in a hospital room wasn't in my bingo card for my love life but it happened.
I don't know. He finally woke up. To say I'm over the moon is an understatement. We were alone and the doctors said I could try to help him stand up and walk around so that he could get the all-clear. I guess I mentioned that I developed a small crush on him when I saw him ballroom dancing, one thing led to another, and suddenly we were dancing with each other. He hummed the tune of Dandelions by Ruth B. I knew he was a singer, I just didn't expect his voice to be... soft? If that's the right adjective.
Everyone left the hospital in high spirits so we decided to watch a saurian race in the Flower-Feather Clan. The saurian I was rooting for won and Lady Mavuika ended up paying me fifty Mora.
Oh, we also bumped into some of Kinich's friends (he calls them his kids for some reason, even Xiao) at the race. Albedo was carrying three bags of Mora, so I guess he won their bet?
On the way to the race, I saw Kinich's mom and an old man headed to the hospital.
Lord Capitano will take him home tonight and the doctors said he's stable enough to run around again (he just has to refrain from doing extreme sports).
