Chapter Text
on a cliff, miles from Agrabah, the guards laugh as Jasmine’s body drops into the water far below.
She wakes up under the waters surface, but her feet are tied to a steel ball and chain. The ball hits the sea bottom, dragging her down.
The bottle floats away from her. She sees it. She struggles to get to it, wriggling her body forward, but she barely moves the steel ball. Jas wares herself out and loses consciousness as she falls to the sandy floor.
The bottle, unsettled by her movement, rolls down and rubs against her hands. It shakes, and Eden emerges with a bath brush, rubber duckie, and shower cap.
“Never fails. Get in the bath and there's a rub on the home.” She squeaks the duck. “Hello?”
She sees the unconscious Jasmine and freaks out. “Jas? Jas! Kid, please snap out of it!” She tries to speak to her but Jasmine can’t respond.
Eden strengthens her resolve, picking up her bottle and Jasmine. The genie speeds out of the salty water.
On the waters surface, a giant water spout emerges, and lands on top of the cliff. Jasmine coughs the water out of her lungs. Free of the restraints as Eden mostly dries her off.
“Don't you scare me like that!” Eden says as Jasmine looks up at her. “Eden,” She smiles at her magical friend, they hug each other tightly. “Thanks, Eden.” “Oh, Jas. I'm gettin' kinda fond of you, kid.” She hands her bottle back to Jasmine then picks her up; placing her on Eden’s shoulders. She then flies back to the palace.
Back with Aladdin in his room, humming a sweet tune, smiling at the flower in his hand. Then Sultan Cassim appears in one of the double doors, a slight red tint in his eyes. “Aladdin?”
He turns to his dad and smiles, placing the flower down. “Dad, I just had the most wonderful time. I'm so happy.” Aladdin gets up and walks over to Cassim.
The Sultan speaks in a soft monotone. “You should be, Aladdin. I have chosen a bride for you.” The Prince looks at him confused. “What?”
The other door opens and reveals Nasira, a smug look on her face. “You will wed, Nasira.” Aladdin gasps at the sight of her.
“You're speechless, I see. Good. A fine quality in a husband.” She says as she takes his hand.
He yanks it away from him. “I will never marry you.” He glares at her, then he goes to Cassim. “Dad, I chose Princess Jaslin!”
“She left!” The royal advisor says then a new familiar voice enters the room. “Better check your crystal ball again, Nasira.”
Jasmine is seen at a doorway and is leaning against it. Mozen standing with her, glaring daggers at Nasira.
Aladdin looks over and smiles happily. “Jas!” He rushes over, pulling her in for a hug, but is quickly shocked. “You're wet?” “You should ask Nasira why she is.” Mozen says coldly, Aladdin now glaring at the advisor.
Nasira gasps at the sight of Jasmine. Iago, shocked, almost breaks his ruse. “How in the he--” He goes back to parrot-ese. “--Uh, awk!”
“Tell them the truth, Nasira! You tried to have me killed.” Jasmine marches over to her with a rage-filled glare.
“What?” She fakes being shocked then goes to the Sultan. “Ridiculous nonsense, your highness. She is obviously lying.” Nasira brings the staff close to Cassim's face. “Obviously… lying.” Jasmine notices the staff with its glowing eyes.
“Dad! What's wrong with you?” Aladdin shakes his father’s shoulders. “I know what’s wrong!” Jasmine grabs the staff and smashes it on the floor. Nasira flinches and the spell is broken for good.
Sultan Cassim holds his head “Oh, my head.” Mozen walks over and grabs the staff. Examining it he growls. “Father, Nasira’s been controlling you with this!” He shows Cassim the broken staff.
Cassim takes it then drops it. “What? Nasira!?” He gets angry “You traitor!!!” The four advance on Nasira. “Your majesty, all of this can be explained.” “Guards! Guards!” He calls.
Iago just gives up. “Well, that's it--we're dead, forget about it. Just dig a grave for both of us. We're dead.” But Nasira sees the bottle tied to Jasmine’s waist. She goes to make a move, but is grabbed by guards. “Arrest Nasira at once.” She glares at the false Princess. “This is not done yet, girl!” Nasira pulls a vial from her pocket. Jasmine and Mozen see this and rushes at her.
But Nasira throws the vial to the floor. A large red cloud appears. When it was gone, so was Nasira.
“Find her, search everywhere!” Cassims orders.
“Aladdin, are you alright?” Jasmine asks worriedly, going to him. “Yeah. And I’m glad you’re ok too.” They then lean in to kiss, but Cassim barges between them accidentally. “Nasira, my most trusted advisor, has been plotting against me all this time.”
They smile and shrug then hold each other again. Mozen chuckles at the lightened mood. “This is horrible. How will I ever-” He stops in mid-sentence, feeling his eldest tap his shoulder, and Mozen pointing at the pair. Cassim's eyes light up with a warm smile. “My son has finally chosen a Princess?”
Aladdin lookinf at Jasmine, then to his father nodding with a smile.
“Haha! Praise Allah!” The Sultan rushes over and hugs Jasmine. “You brilliant girl!” This earns an ‘ahem’ from his youngest. He gently pushes her back to him. “You two will be wed at once! You'll be happy and prosperous, and then my girl, you will be Sultana!”
“Sultana?” Jasmine tenses up in Aladdin's arms. He notices and tries to help by gently caressing her back.
“Yes, a fine upstanding youth like yourself, a person of your unimpeachable moral character is exactly what this kingdom needs!”
Jasmine looks very concerned about this. Aladdin tightens the hug tenderly, trying to reassure her. She rests her head on his chest, thankful, but worries still plagued her mind.
