Notes:

Hey guys! Well, I have started another FF. My motivation for writing really depends on the number of ideas I have. I will probably finish this, though. I have it more or less figured out, but it will vary. Please leave comments on how to continue, recommendations, feedback, etc. I don't know how often I can post the chapters. Thanks again! I hope you enjoy it!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

You found yourself lying on the floor in your armor amidst enormous explosions nearby. As you got up, you saw a horrendous sky full of aliens. The Avengers, you thought, must be fighting Loki now. You are very worried as to how this will end.

Looking around, you see injured people scattered all around you. Without wasting any time, you spring into action and run to the first person you see - a man with his leg sitting at an awkward angle.

"May I help you?" you asked him. He quickly nodded in approval. You place your hand on his leg and head and begin to tend to his injuries. The man's injured leg and your eyes glow white. You feel as if something is getting sucked out of you. After a second or two, the man got up and thanked you. You now felt a searing pain in your leg, though nothing you couldn’t handle.

Without a second thought, the man jumps up and runs as fast as he can (which was now very fast, as his leg felt as good as new) to safety.

You do this until there isn’t a single person hurt in sight. Your body is aching all over now. You feel every single injury the people had. Even though you can’t see it, you are gravely hurt. By this time, the war was almost over. you saw Iron Man enter a portal leading into space. Oh shit, how is he going to land? you thought to yourself again, though you decided not to think of it more, since he should be a responsible adult.

In the meantime, you were making your way through the rubble to look for any more injured citizens. When there wasn’t anyone needing your assistance, you limped your way to the Stark Tower, or at least what used to be the Stark Tower. There, you see a blurred-out figure of a man dressed in black and green dragging himself across the floor. You limped your way over as fast as your body would let you without dropping on the floor.

“Are you alright, sir?” you asked. you couldn’t recognize anything at this point. You had become too exhausted for your eyes to see anything properly, forcing them open, not that it would have made much difference. “What are you doing you foolish wench?” Asked the man, in an offended voice. Although he was trying his best to mask the pain in his voice.

“Trying to help,” You say plainly. “So… Do you need my help?”

“Do you even know who I am? For all you know, I could have killed hundreds of people.” He says to you as if you were stupid.

“Does it matter who you are? If you are hurt it doesn’t matter how bad you think you are.” You say, now sitting down beside the man, as your legs get weaker by the second.

“I am Loki. I just failed to take over your planet, and you still want to help me? Why aren’t you scared of me?”

“Hi Loki, I am Y/N. You didn’t try to take over Earth. You were mind-controlled, though I suspect you already knew that. Now, are you hurt, yes or no?”

“Well, technically, yes,”

“Okay, that wasn’t hard, was it? Now, where are you hurt the most?” You say with a cocky tone.

“My chest,” Grunted Loki.

“Okay, could you put my hands on your chest, Loki?” You asked, handing him your hands.
He gently takes your hands and places them on his chest. He feels a sudden warmth spreading throughout his body, one he hasn’t felt in a long time. His face becomes fuller and healthier looking, his bruises start to disappear, and you can hear his bones cracking back into place. On the contrary, in an instant, you feel a cold feeling grow around your body. You only remember feeling like this a long time ago. At the same time, you experience the same feeling of something being pulled out of you. He closes his eyes as you continue to work on making him feel better.

Once you are sure he is feeling much better, you take your hands off of him. You hear him sigh in relief at how well he feels now.

“Why did you do that, and for me of all people?” Loki asked.

“B-because y-you’re innocent, and the innocent shouldn’t g-get p-punished… and I d-did t-this for everyone.” You fall down next to him, curling up to keep as warm as possible, rubbing your arms. This is not helping very much though.

“Hey!” Loki quickly sits up next to you. “Are you alright?”

“Y-yeah, a normal s-side effect when I use it too much.” You say as you start to shiver even more. You are just waiting to freeze at this point.

“Are you cold? Do you want my cape?” He asks, for the first time having some emotion in his voice other than anger, he actually has some worry. You nod, unable to put a single word together because of how much you are shaking.

“Hmm, much better, thank you.” You say with a sigh of relief when he places his warm cape over you. The shivering has now relieved itself a little. You can feel Loki rubbing his hands over your arms and back, trying to keep you as warm as possible. It was relaxing. You feel your eyes close. You haven’t been so relaxed in ages.

That’s when you hear footsteps stopping in front of you two, causing Loki to slow down.

“Are t-the Avengers p-pointing guns at us?” You ask.

Loki hesitates for a moment before answering, “Yes”

The Avengers are in fact staring down at your and Loki’s similarly gaunt faces

“Well, c-can’t say I’m s-surprised.”

“Y-yeah…” Instantly, the pain in your body peaked. you groaned with pain, loud enough to be a shout. You feel your muscles tighten to an excruciating level before you feel everything release.

Darkness.
