Post-2nd fic Fireworks Party at the house?
Drista's got some kind of light sensitivity and Rat hates the banging, so they'll be five to a party.
the end of something great [techno's last game in the middle school league]
dream tells george he has adhd, explains the stimming
"but sapnap does that?"
"...yeah"
"does he have adhd?"
"I mean, maybe," dream says, "Or he's autistic. Like Techno"
george scowls a bit. just because techno is his best friend now too doesnt mean he wants sapnap to be just like him. thats not fair! but the autism thing kind of makes sense
dream tells everybody else before techno game, hang out
technos last game, he fails horribly on purpose so the high school recruiters wont hound him, he retires at 13
---
george learns a lot of new words, over the weekend.
he and techno talk back and forth a lot, and he thanks technoblade more than he's thanked any stranger in his life. they
he'd already known about some stuff, because of dream's adhd, but there's still a lot he doesnt know.
he hasn't talked to sapnap about it yet, but he's going to.
knowing the theory isnt going to mean shit if it doesnt apply to his friend, so he's going to have to ask sapnap
he's a little bit worried that technoblade and dream might be wrong
sapnap could, technically, be a neurotypical that was going through something
probably
actually, hes not sure if thats something neurotypical people go through or not because when he asks technoblade about the neurotypical experience, the guy just says, "why would i know" or "ask a neurotypical"
techno can only really tell him what isnt the neurotypical experience, and even that line's kind of blurry
and george cant really tell the differnece between what isnt a neurotypical experience and what just isnt something he hasnt experienced yet
anyways, the point is, dream, sapnap, and george add technobalde to their groupchat even though they go to different schools and george decides he doesnt actually hate him at all
eventually, they talk to sapnap about the Shutdown, as they start to call it, even though it's probably actually a meltdown more than anything.
sapnap teaches george how to find beauty in the wind moving individual blades of grass, even though he still thinks it's kind of boring, and george teaches technobalde how to belay.
apparently, the guy is fascinated by rock climbing, but finds he enjoys watching george race up the wall more than doing it himself.
and one day, a year and a half after the Shutdown, the Dream Team sits down together in the stands to watch Technoblade absolutely pummel the other eighth-graders

Post Retirement Series? BenchTrio AU?
"Train me," tommy demands.
"Uh, no?" techno says, shoving on his jacket. the sky is dark, looks like its gonna rain
"What! Why not?" tommy asks and the pout on his face might be considered adorable if he wasn't currently playing keep-away with techno's bag
"I'm retired, Tommy," Technoblade says. admittedly, his retirement mostly only applied to actually playing baseball, but still. It's the principle.
"But you train ranboo," tommy gripes, "why cant you train me?"
"training ranboo puts me under no obligations to train you," techno points out, channeling his inner-philza. actually, phil probably would train tommy.
"Go ask phil," techno says, "he trained me, so it would be even better than learning from me."
"He's your dad," Tommy whines, "I can't learn from your dad."
Techno raises an eyebrow
"He's a grown-up. Grown-ups are the worst."
Well, there's something they both agree on.
"I'm still not training you," Techno says. Tommy's annoying and if he starts training one kid, a million others are bound to follow.
Tommy groans and swings Techno's bag back at him.
---
Tommy kind of sucks at baseball.
It's the first thing Technoblade notices about Tommy's play style. He's not going to train the kid, but he's kind of curious about Ranboo's friends at this point.
The lanky pitcher-in-training talks about them constantly, but Technoblade can't really see why.
Tommy isn't a very good hitter, in all honesty, and he doesn't seem to even try when he's in the outfield.
He doesn't have the arm strength for pitching or the drive for anything else. It's kind of disappointing.
But then Tubbo comes onto the field, put in halfway through the game, and suddenly Tommy is a beast in the outfield. The other team doesn't stand a chance.
