Chapter Text

Will watches with a smile as first Valery, then slowly all five of the ghost stuck here, pass through the circle. Owen recites the same little line to each of them and Walter holds their hands with a smile. By the time it's Mischa's turn, the others are already yawning.

"Will!" Will blinks at his brother's words in confusion.

"Yes, Walter?" Will asks, but his brother just keeps holding Mischa's hand.

"I need your wendigo." He says seriously, and Will reaches for the watch hanging around his neck.

"Hannibal, we need you for a litte." Will says with his eyes closed, but at the same moment he finishes the sentence, he feels his mate's arms around him.

"What do you need me for?" Hannibal asks.

"To bring the young lady back." Walter smiles. "You just have to hold her hand, but since she's a half-being, I can't bring her back alone." He shrugs. Will looks up at Hannibal, who looks at Walter with teary eyes.

"Go get your sister back." Will says, trying to strike a reassuring tone as he strokes Hannibal's arm. That seems to be enough for the man to snap out of his shock and step over to Walter to take his sister's hand.

"Hi, Mischa." Hannibal whispers with teary eyes.

"Hi, Hannibal!" Mischa greets him with teary eyes as Walter lets go of her hand and hugs her brother.

"Okay kids, now it's better if you and Valery stay here and sleep in the bunker, no one can get in there." Will says with his hands on his hips and a kind smile.

"Okay dad!" Abigail pulls herself up with a grin and grabs Matthew's shoulder. "Tag you're it!" She yells as she starts running towards the bunker.

"Cheater!" Matthew laughs and runs after Abel, who grabs Randal's hand and starts running towards the bunker, pulling the boy after him.

"You're a looser, Matty!" Mischa giggles. "Watch out for Tetis, Dad." She winks at Will and runs after the others.

"I'll put the kids to bed." Valery giggles too and goes after the group.

"Why do the kids call you Dad?" Owen looks at Will in confusion.

"I have no idea." Will admits, scratching his head.

"Mischa called me dad too." Hannibal blinks towards the bunker.

"Ah, so the Graham family has grown." Walter says, then looks at Hannibal. "Although I think the name Graham-Lecter is more accurate." He shrugs.

"Walter." Will blushes.

"It was easier for me to become an uncle than I thought." Owen holds his chin with one hand.

"Okay, we'll come back to that later, but right now we have to deal with a dangerous uncle in the storeroom." Will ruffles his hair. "Hannibal, can you go guard the exit?" He asks, and his mate nods and disappears.

"I just wish I could open a gate to the veil so easily!" Walter sighs.

"Not like he's opening a gate." Will says as he heads towards the storeroom.

"Then what?" His twin asks.

"He said it was more like he was sliding under it." Will tries to explain. "I'll explain it more precisely when he teaches me how he does it." He waves.

"You know, bro, I never thought I'd call a wendigo my brother-in-law." Walter chuckles.

"Hey, the wedding hasn't happened yet." Owen points out.

"Yeah, they just made the contract beyond the veil, that's about the same." Their brother shrugs.

"A wedding would still be nice." Will whispers, blushing.

"Then, when we're done here, ask him to marry you." Owen pats him on the back. "He'll say yes obviously." He grins at him, but Will just rolls his eyes.

"You're an idiot, you know that?" Will glances at Owen.

"I know, but it's time to get serious, we have work to do." The smile freezes from Owen's face as they reach that particular door.

"Hannibal is watching the other side. And on this side is the rune. All we need to do is get through the physical door." Will says seriously.

"I'll open it." Walter offers. "Are you ready?" He looks at Will and Owen, who first look at his twin, then nod. "Then at the count three." Walter says confidently, one hand on the doorknob and the other holding the sword that just appeared. "One!"

"Two!" Owen continues, holding his hand to the side, in which his sword appears.

"Three!" Will says when he feels Winston's nose in his palm, which is immediately replaced by his sword. The door almost bursts open as Walter opens it. The room is dark, but they can faintly make out a figure facing them.

"I'll make a light." Owen says as he pulls a ribbon from his pocket and raises it to his mouth, muttering something. As soon as he finishes, it bursts into flames and it starts to fly through the air into the room.

"Suspiciously calm." Walter mutters in a worried voice as they see the decaying remains of the man who was once in a yellow rabbit costume.

"All we have to do is kill him. He don't have to be active for that." Will grimaces as he steps past his brother into the room. "Mr. Lecter?" He calls out to the figure, who hesitantly raises his head in Will's direction. Will crouchs down in front of him, seeing the moment in the almost dead eyes when it decides to attack. "Owen!" That's all Will has to say.

"It's done." His twin chuckles as the Lecter uncle is literally pushed against the iron shelf by the air.

"Walter, is the soul-destroying circle ready?" Will asks without looking back at his brother.

"One moment." Comes the answer, and Will glances back at him, his brother is drawing directly on this side of the door. "And it's done." Walter says as he looks up at Will, a grin on his lips.

"Perfect." Will grins as well and turns back to the trapped man. "I don't usually introduce myself, but you're an exception." He says. "I'm Will Graham, your nephew's mate, and I'm going to finish what he started." As those words leave Will's mouth, the man's eyes behind the mask widen.

Will, however, ignores them, and simply stabs the man through the robot suit through the heart. Will then moves quickly and pulls the sword out of his chest, only to leap towards the door. Will sees the ghost as it starts after him, but he doesn't even see if the ghost reach the circle, because he falls through the veil straight into Hannibal's black arms.

"Jacy Hania, are you okay?" The Wendigo asks, pulling Will closer.

"Perfectly fine." Will smiles, then takes Hannibal's face in his hands and kisses him deeply. "Let's go see if my brothers have solved the end." Will chuckles, and lets Hannibal take him back to the human side of the veil.

"Mission accomplished." Owen wipes his hands as Will and Hannibal appear in the hallway beside them.

"I cleaned out the storeroom and renewed the defenses around the gate. The ghost ran straight into the destruction circle, I didn't even have to be there." Walter explains.

"Perfect." Will nods. "Then we'd better go back to the others and take them home. They'll be able to sleep a little more comfortably there." He continues.

"Won't your house be a little small for so many people?" Hannibal asks.

"You're talking about the Graham house. I think it's made about six children's rooms a long time ago." Owen waves, but this only makes Hannibal look at Will in confusion.

"We have a magical house. Sometimes it acts of its own accord." Will shrugs. That closes the subject and they can go back to the large dining room, where they wake Valery and, with the help of the woman, they carry all the children out to the cars to go home. To their greatest surprise, the little ones slept like a log and didn't wake up when they were put to bed in the huge nursery the house had prepared, where there are five beds for the children.

"Hannibal?" Will whispers to the man when they are alone with the children.

"Yes, Will?" Hannibal asks, looking Will straight in the eyes.

"I know we're done with this beyond the veil, but..." Will starts, but stops here.

"Will you marry me, Will Graham?" Will raises his head at the question, Hannibal looks at him with a wide smile.

"Yes!" Will immediately agrees and almost throws himself at Hannibal.

"We really are going to be a family." Will and Hannibal immediately burst into tears at the sound, the children all sit in bed grinning.

"I told you they would be the best dad and tetis in the world!" Mischa proudly straightenes herself.

"Are we getting a hug now?" Randal asks, clutching his blanket, and Will smiles as he looks up at his mate, who nods.

"Yes." Will says and opens his arms, only for the five children to immediately run towards them and throw themselves into their arms.

"Is the pizzeria open again, Tetis?" Abigail asks, looking at Hannibal.

"If you'd like." Hannibal offers.

"Only if Dad is the guard." Abel says seriously.

"Who else would it be? That's my pizzeria." Will ruffles the boy's hair.

"Our pizzeria. I think your brother is right, we really should change the name." Hannibal chuckles. "So it's time for you guys to go to bed and once you've rested yourselves and eaten a nice hearty breakfast in the morning, we can go back to the Graham-Lecter pizzeria and start cleaning up the place." Hannibal looks at the group.

"What if we opened the pizzeria to the Veil? There are many veil dwellers who live here among the humans, but they miss the Veil. We could give them a safe place to call home. After all, the Veil has been watching over our family for so long." Will suggests, which results in Hannibal kissing him again and the children laughing out loud.

"That's how it will be, love." Hannibal promises, then slowly stands up. "Okay, let's put the kids to bed." He says, and the little ones immediately rush back to their beds, where the couple tucks them all in, then leaves the room holding hands.

"We're looking forward to an exciting life, aren't we?" Will chuckles.

"A very exciting one." Hannibal agrees, opening the door to Will's room and pulling Will in, only to close the door on them in the middle of a kiss. "I love you, Will Graham." He whispers against Will's lips.

"I love you, Hannibal Lecter." Will repeats the words before kissing him again. The world tingles around him. They are together, the energies of the veil are flowing through them and their lives have finally become truly complete. Something they only dared to dream of, magic, ghosts, a family, and a strange pizzeria. These are them and soon they can welcome everyone to the Graham-Lecter pizzeria.
