Summary
Liu Kang made sure that in this timeline, Saphyron and Shang Tsung would never meet. With the influence of Damashi, Liu Kang’s attempt to give Saphyron’s once deviant incarnations a new chance at finding purpose would come crashing down when Shang Tsung arrived in Sun Do. While in previous timelines, Saphyron had been one of Shang Tsung’s most devoted allies, this timeline’s recent reset has brought their relationship from simple allies to something must more complex.
