Kagome eyes the car in the hotel parking lot. "What, exactly, do you do at the hospital, Ito-san?" she asks, turning to her new husband. She may have argued against a honeymoon for several reasons, but clearly, money isn't a problem. Either her new husband comes from money, or he's very well paid.
He unlocks the car. "Perhaps I should have advised you sooner," he replies, lips quirking as he opens the driver door, "that it should be Ito-sensei."
Oh damn. He's a doctor. Her breath catches.
"But I would hope that my wife would simply address me as Sesshomaru."
