   Summary

   In an alternate universe where Gordon Amherst does not release the chimera variola virus on Black Friday, NYSE futures trader Aaron Keener, a sleeper agent for the Strategic Homeland Division, lives his happily married life with his third (and hopefully last) wife, Mackenzie Meret-Keener.

   All of that comes crashing down, however, as he is drawn into the "Versailles" Protocol that President Cal Bradford's Administration has been secretly working on.

   Xavier Collins is the head of the Secret Service detail, and just recovered from taking a bullet for President Bradford in an attempt made on his life. Soon after his medical leave, Collins is roped into the "Versailles" Protocol as well, with Keener. As undercover tensions and global water levels rise in the span of one fateful day, so do the stakes, as it soon becomes a race against time to get to the safety of Paradise before the world tears itself apart at the seams. All that's left is one question:
