Chapter Eight: Claire Calms Olivia Down

After her phone conversation with Olivia, Sidney tells Kirby what the guitarist told her to tell the horror fan. Sitting down on the edge of her bed, Olivia begins to remember painful memories of Marcus. Olivia's breathing began to become heavy when she rushed out of her hotel room. Sitting Olivia down gently, Claire began to calm her girlfriend down. Leading Olivia back inside the hotel room, Claire learns more about her girlfriend's past.

Claire is a green flag, guys. She caught on to what was happening very quickly. And like always, I give to you all yet another sucky chapter introduction.

"Babe! We gotta call Olivia right now. And I'm not trying to pull a fast one on her again. I promise, we gotta call her now,"

Taking Kirby's phone from her now panicking girlfriend, Sidney finally began to read the message someone had sent the horror fan, with a confused look slowly forming on her face.

After giving the message a quick read, Sidney slowly placed Kirby's phone beside her on the bed before she looked over at her girlfriend with a "Who the hell is that?" look, causing Kirby to frown.

"His name is Marcus Walker. He is the older brother to Charlie Walker," Kirby said. Panckily shaking her head, Kirby finally got up from Sidney's bed. "We never knew about him becuase Charlie didn't even know he had a brother until I just had to introduce him to Olivia,"

Sidney frowned. "What landed him in jail for seven months, Babe? And why is he blaming you for him being arrested?"

Kirby frowned sadly as she looked away from Sidney. This is going to be painful to talk about since it's my fault Olivia had to deal with him for years.

While waiting for Kirby to answer her question, Sidney slowly crossed her arms over her chest before she stood up from her childhood bed, while Kirby looked back at her sadly.

"He seemed like a nice guy, Babe. So, I sent him up with Olivia after Robbie broke her heart," Kirby said.

Sidney nodded as she leaned against her bedroom dresser. "Why does it feel like you're trying to stall, Babe? What did Marcus Walker do that was so bad that it landed him in jail for seven months?"

"He did a lot to Olivia, babe. He stalked her many times for many years. He took pictures of her. Made a shrine of her three times. He shot her in class a month before Jill and Charlie's murder spree. Robbie and I were never the same after that. I mean, damnit, Babe. He even tried to uh, I don't wanna bring that up actually. So, I finally had enough of him, so I decided to tell my dad everything, but he still only got seven months in jail for all of that, Babe. There, can we call Olivia to warn her about Marcus?"

Nodding her head with a worried look once again forming on her face, Sidney quickly pulled her phone from her pants pocket before he dialed Olivia's number before she placed her phone against her left ear while Kirby stood where she was still panickly.

Kirby frowned. Wait! How does Sidney have Olivia's number? Actually, how the hell did she get Olivia's number anyway if Olivia hated her guts sex months ago?

After what felt like an eternity of waiting for her, Sidney finally heard the broken girl answer the call, causing Sidney to sigh in relief.

"Hey, Sid. Is everything okay over there in Woodsboro?" Olivia asked.

Sidney frowned. "Listen to me, Liv. Where is Claire? Please, tell me she's still somewhere around you, Liv,"

"Of course she's still with me, Sid. Ever since we became official, not that long ago, we have been talking about our future together. Why? What is going on right now, Sid?"

Aww! Claire and Olivia are officially dating. That is so damn cute. But not important at the moment. Quickly shaking herself out of her thoughts, Sidney out a small nervous laugh before she walked away from Kirby.

Kirby frowned, clearly jelous of Sidney's friendship with her best friend. Okay! Since when did they become friends? And who's Claire?

"Where's Claire exactly, Liv? (Olivia: She's in the shower.) Good! That's good to hear," Sidney said. Running her free hand through her hair, Sidney leaned against the wall. "He's out of jail, Liv. Marcus Walker is out of jail,"

"W-What? But he got seven months in jail, Sid. H-How is he out already?" Olivia said.

"It's been seven months, Liv. You have been too focused on trying to find yourself again to actually notice. He's trying to find you as we speak, Liv. But he doesn't know where you are, so you don't have to panic right now. Just keep finding yourself,"

From the other end of the phone line, Sidney heard Olivia let out a small, nervous, and panicked laugh, causing Sidney to frown, feeling bad for her friend right now.

Rubbing her temple sadly, Sidney looked back over at Kirby, who was staring at her with so many mixed emtions on her face.

"I can't promise you that I won't panic, Sid. But I can promise you that I can at least try," Olivia said. Nodding her head, not caring if Olivia couldn't see her, Sidney let out a small, broken sigh. "Hey, Sid. Can you tell Kirby something for me?"

Sidney nodded. "Of course you can, Liv. What do you need me to say to her?"

"Tell her that I'm safe where I am. I will be around my girlfriend and her family, they will protect me from Marcus if needed. Trust me, Claire doesn't play when it comes down to me already. But me telling her all of this doesn't change how I feel about her or the boys becuase I'm still very beyond pissed at them,"

Sidney nodded, taking in everything that Olivia was telling her, not wanting to mess it up for when she goes to tell Kirby.

"Thanks for calling to warn me about Marcus, Sid. I appreciate it," Olivia said.

Sidney smiled. "Actually, Liv, you should be thanking Kirby since it was her quick reaction to the message Marcus sent her. She cares about you, Liv. We all know she just has a terrible way of showing it (Kirby: Hey! Hurtful). But very fucking true. But you still don't have to talk or forgive them until you are ready,"

"Alrighty, then, please tell Kirby I said thank you. I should go now, Sid. But I will call you tonight for our nightly call. I love you, Sid. Thank you for being a friend to me and helping me through this rough time,"

Sidney signed.

After hanging up with Olivia, laughing about something she said before she hung up, Sidney placed her phone back into her pants pocket before she walked back over toward Kirby.

"Olivia says thank you for warning her about Marcus, Babe. She appreciated it," Sidney said.

Kirby nodded. "Did she say anything else about me. Is she coming home? Is she back to being my best friend again?"

"Woah! Calm down, Babe. Yes, she did want to tell you something, but it's not about your friendship. She told me to tell you that she is safe where she is. That she would be around her girlfriend and her family, and that they would protect her from Marcus if they needed to. Claire doesn't play when it comes down to her, even though they have only known each other for less than a week,"

Slowly nodding her head sadly, Kirby slowly covered her face with her hands before she once again flopped down onto Sidney's bed while the ghostface survivor looked down at her depressed-looking girlfriend.

Letting out a small sigh, Sidney walked out of her bedroom wanting to give Kirby some time alone to think about the words Olivia sent out to her.

(Back With Olivia In Costa Verde)

Pacing around her hotel room after her phone conversation with Sidney in a state of panic, Olivia quickly sat down on the edge of her bed the moment she started to feel like her entire world was starting to spin like crazy.

Placing her head into her hands, Olivia slowly closed her eyes tightly as a memory began to play in her mind, causing the latters to whine panickly.

After she was finished grabbing everything she needed for the rest of her classes, Olivia finally closed her locker, only to be met with a smirking Marcus Walker, causing Olivia to whine in fear as she backed away from her stalker.

Marcus waved.

"Hey, Liv. I have something big for you in classes," Marcus said. Leaning against the locker beside Olivia's, Marcus crossed his arms over his chest. "You are going to scream when you see this surpise, Liv. Maybe it will make everyone scream,"

Olivia whined. "You don't even go to high school anymore, Marcus. Why do you keep coming to Woodsboro High? Why don't this damn school have a security guard,"

"Even if it did have a guard here, Liv. I would have gotten in anyway since I'm a master escape artist and I can get into anywhere without being caught,"

With that said, Marcus gave Olivia one last wave before he finally walked away from the traumatized high-schooler, causing Olivia to slowly slide down her locker.

Slamming her fist against her locker angrily, Olivia tossed her bag as far away from her before she slammed her head against her locker as hard as she could.

Falling off her bed, sweating like a pig, Olivia slowly placed one of her hands onto her chest as she tried to get up from the ground, only to fall back to the ground as her vision began to blur.

As her breathing began to become very heavy, Olivia slowly used her bed to sit up from the ground, only to find herself staring down the barrel of a gun, causing the latter to whine the best she could.

Before she could say anything, Olivia heard the gun go off four times, causing a stinging pain to hit her before she once again fell onto the ground.

After feeling pain hit her straight on four times in the chest and shoulder, Olivia slowly looked down only to be met with blood forming on her brand-new shirt, causing the latter to fall backward, only to fall into someone's arms.

Slowly laying Olivia onto the ground, Mr. Baker quickly took off his jacket before he placed it onto one of Olivia's badly bleeding wounds, before he pressed down as hard as he could.

Olivia screamed.

"I know! I know! I know it hurts Olivia, but I gotta stop the bleeding," Mr. Baker said. Still pressing down onto Olivia's wound, Mr. Baker quickly looked around his classroom for anyone on the phone. "Please tell me one of you guys called 9-1-1. You all watched her get shot while I went to grab your homework,"

Robbie whined. "I did. They said they were already on the way since everyone in the school heard the shot go off, Mr. Baker. Is she going to be okay, though?"

"I have no idea, Robert. But we all gotta pray she will be,"

Quickly using the bed to get up from the ground, still sweating like a pig, Olivia finally found herself rushing out of her hotel room as her breathing began to worsen every minute.

Leaning against the railing of the hotel balcony, Olivia tried her hardest to catch her breath, only for more memories of Marcus to begin to pour into her brain, causing tears to fall down the side of her face.

Walking out of the bathroom after her relaxing shower, the first thing Claire noticed was that Olivia's hotel room was trashed, causing the former cheerleader to whine in fear as she began to look around for her girlfriend.

Before she could officially start to panic, Claire finally saw the front door wide open, causing the former cheerleader to quickly rush out of the room, only to find Olivia leaning against the railing, breathing heavily.

Already knowing what was happening to her girlfriend, Claire quickly and gently grabbed Olivia before she sat the panicked girl onto the chair beside her hotel room door.

"You're okay, Babe. You're okay," Claire said.

Olivia shook her head as her breathing contuined to worsen while Claire placed her hands against her girlfriend's face. "C-Can't breathe. H-Help,"

"You're having a panic attack, Babe. But I promise you that you are going to be okay,"

With that said, Claire gently grabbed one of Olivia's shaky hands before she placed it against her heart while she started to sing the melody of a song Sandra would sing to her when she was a little kid, scared to go to sleep at night.

Olivia contuined to look at her girlfriend as her breathing began to slowly turn back to normal, causing Claire to smile at the guraitist.

"There you go, Babe. Just need breathing like that," Claire said. Helping Olivia up from the chair, Claire wrapped her girlfriend's arms around her shoulder. "Let's get you inside, though. You are super sweaty right now, but you are still very adorable,"

Olivia nodded as she contuined to take in much-needed deep breaths while Claire walked her into her hotel room. "How did you know how to stop this panic attack, Babe?"

"After your first one, I decided to do some research on panic attacks just in case you had another one. And will you look at that, you did, and I managed to calm you down,"

Nodding her head, Olivia slowly sat down on the edge of her bed, while Claire sat down on the couch in front of her, grabbing one of her hands tightly.

"Wanna tell what caused you to panic, Babe? Did something trigger another memory of what Charlie did to you?" Claire asked.

Olivia signed. "Something triggered my panic, but it wasn't due to something Charlie. It has something to do with his big brother, Marcus Walker. He tons of stuff to me and I guess it hurt hearing that he was out of jail,"

"What did he do to you, Babe? Do I need to get my fathers on his ass for you?" Claire said. "I will and they will happily spend the day looking for thisMarcus guy for,"

"For starters, he would stalk and take pictures of me for his house. He somehow managed to get inside my house while it was locked. He harassed me with many creepy gifts and messages. He made three shrines of me. Followed me around. Watched me while I was sleeping. Gave me nightmares. Shot four times in class and uh something I don't really wanna mention again. Gotta thank Kirby for setting me up for him and giving all of the trauma,"

Claire nodded as she began to remember what Brody almost did to her back when she went to high school with a small frown on her face.

Giving Claire a small broken smile, Olivia slowly crawled over toward her side of the bed while Claire looked at her with a broken look forming on her face before she slowly pulled out her phone from her pants pocket.

Time for Claire Bennet to make a quick call to her father, Noah, to see if he can get hold of Rene just in case this Marcus Walker decides to visit Olivia when Claire isn't around her.
