Chapter Text
Sosuke Aizen wasn't exactly an man easy to decifer, he had many secrets most of which he perfectly kept underwarped. He had an definite goal, from an young age he had decided what he wanted to be— A God above all who ruled with an iron fist, his capabilities beyond that of others.
But that didn't mean he wanted smooth sailing, he wanted an challenge. Naturally, he thought only something with his own DNA could ever hope to rival him but he didn't have a wife. He could court someone but he decided against that. He wanted an child with only his DNA. It wasn't difficult making sora, he made the child with his DNA— he did think of adding arrancar DNA into the mix but decided against it. He couldn't allow anyone to become suspicious of his child's appearance. There were a handful who could make things difficult for him.
When Sora had been born, they were an toddler— he knew that the captain of the 12th squad had made something similar to this. But Sora wasn't quite perfect, he excepted an child of his DNA to be great and strong but Sora had been far from that. As an toddler, Sora had been ordinary— they required all the things that an child should. Which meant aizen had to raise the child till the child gained an consionous. It had been difficult, as an captain and an man with a lot of duties, he soon found himself having trouble taking care of an toddler. The most queer thing about it had to be the fact Sora was exceptionally well-behaved with him than with anyone else. Aizen would only entrust the child to those he trusted though, which included Gin and Tousen as well as his lieutenant, Hinamori. She seemed to like his child, well everyone did. It wasn't everyday they got to see an toddler in the seireitei.
If not anything else, atleast the child had increased his reputation of being an kind and benevolent man. Everyone would occasionally visit him to check up on Sora, this included the head captain. Apart of Aizen grew to dislike this, he could understand their curiosity. An child in the seireitei, especially one as young as Sora wasn't common. The youngest member had to be the lieutenant of squad 11th. Yet he felt strangely unhappy at the constant catering to his child. At first, sure he appreciated the attention but the constant visits grew to become irritating.
Well, maybe the truth had been the fact that Aizen didn't want anyone near something he made. That was an natural instinct, No?
"Papa." The toddler had spoken their first word in his office when momo had been getting the young child to speak. The toddler looked at him with those big brown eyes that he had. Momo turned to him, grinning.
"Captain Aizen!! See— They spoke!! They spoke 'Papa'!!" His lieutenant held his toddler upto him. The small child smiled as well.
Aizen had rarely ever felt affection for anything or anyone in this world yet at that very moment, he couldn't help but smile genuinely for the first time as he held the toddler in his arms, looking down at his child. His child and no one's else's, which in itself made him feel warm. Maybe he wouldn't be such a bad father.
His child had been smart, well developed than others in comparison to other toddlers. Well that's what he felt about his child anyway. He didn't have any toddlers to compare from.
At the age of 1, they could say some words.
By the age of 3, they grew to form sentences.
By the age of 5, they could talk and walk perfectly normal.
But that didn't mean sora acted like an extraordinary child, they still were an child. Scared of the dark and whatnot. They would cling to him most of times and wait outside his office when he had work to do. Sora eventually grew to call Gin and Tousen 'Uncle' as well. Aizen didn't know what to feel about that but he eventually thought it would be fine. Both of the two seemed amused by it anyway. Gin, in particular tried using his child to get closer to the lieutenant of the 10th squad.
Which somehow ended up working. Aizen chuckled at that.
Originally, Aizen had planned for Sora to become his challenge but he soon realized that wouldn't be possible. Sora didn't have the amount of potential he wanted. He thought they would eventually unleash their true spiritual energy but that didn't happen. They had Aizen's DNA but due to some odd reason, not his immense spiritual energy. Aizen wasn't upset at that. He had decided that Sora wouldn't need to be an challenge. He had grown attached. An insight in his part but what was done was done. He would protect his child and take him back when the time eventually came.
《¡¡》
Aizen had successfully faked his own death and murder, something he had rehearsed several times. Though he knew his zhanpakto wouldn't fail him, he just hoped Gin himself would play his part well. And from what he could understand, that he did.
He couldn't lie to himself though, as he murdered the last remaining member in central 46, he wondered just for an moment what his small child would think. They were going to turn 12 this year and had wanted to celebrate with him in the human world.
As the body of the old man infront of him stopped moving and the crimson liquid followed out— he could only hope sora wouldn't take his death to hurt. He would have to send either Tousen or Gin ( preferably Tousen, Gin acted abit cheeky. He wasn't good at feelings. ) to check up on the child, to ensure that they were fine. Tousen was good at confronting sora most of the time and the two could hold deep conversations. Something he felt proud of. His child was an smart one just like him.
Aizen sat on the seat of one of the members of the council, putting one hand on his face as he contemplated the future. From now on, it wouldn't be easy, especially since his child would be left alone in the soul society but atlas, sora would manage.
That very night, Tousen visited him in the quarters of central 46. He looked to be tense, and slightly upset. Like something had soured his mood. Aizen, as the reader of emotion, could immediately tell something had happened to make him that way. Naturally, he had asked.
"Is something the matter, Tousen?" Aizen had spoken, voice perfectly calm and curious. He offered a smile.
"Yes, Captain Aizen." Tousen looked up, at where he believed Aizen to be. "Sora — isn't doing well."
Aizen frowned. It was normal, children would grief. He hoped it wasn't bad.
"How are they coping with it?" He asked. An healthy coping mechanism would be the way to go. It would ensure that everything be handled and sorted out in an healthy manner. His child wouldn't do something incredibly emotional, unlike his lieutenant Hinamori but he still felt felt tinge of trepidation.
"They haven't slept. They were shook upon seeing the illusion, according to Gin but tried protesting the fact that Gin wouldn't kill you. It seems though they're not coping well, their emotions are dulled." Tousen added, voice laced with worry. "I got them to sleep, hopefully they will find an better way to grieve by sleep deprivation."
Aizen sighed. He should have known. Sora wasn't good at sleeping without him. They would miss him when he stayed in the squad five barracks, often falling asleep in his office. He had made an habit to put some sedatives in their food to make things easier. They were sometimes put in the mouth or ate as sweeties. Momo had given him an concerned look when he told her, telling him how it seemed 'Unhealthy' but oh well.
"There should be sleeping sweeties in the upper cabinet, if anything else happens tell them to take the candies." Aizen added as Tousen nodded, understanding the task given to him. At times, Aizen wished things were different but giving up his goal for an single child felt foolish.
And he was anything but foolish.
《¡¡¡》
When Aizen left the soul society, along with Gin and Tousen he had been glad that Sora wasn't among those watching as he was uplifted by menos grande into the hole in the sky. It had been only an small reprieve but an reprieve nonetheless. Gin and Tousen weren't as lucky, with both the people they adored and their lietantant there. He could sense that Gin felt an silver of guilt and regret when leaving his childhood friend. Rangiku Matsumoto
When they arrived in Heuco Mondo, they didn't waste any time before teleported to the palace that they had made for their stay in barren desert-like landscape. It had been built with sturdy and thick walls, and with the capability to withstands bankais as well. The trio entered without much problem, after all they owned the place. Some arrancar servants bowed in respect before scurrying away. Aizen smirked at that. Even the smallest signs of his goals coming to life made him happier. They then stepped into the meeting hall, where as he had excepted were the Espadas. They all sat at the large elongated table as Aizen and his allies walked in. He increased his spiritual pressure just a little, just to see the looks on their faces. They ranged from slight suprise to nervousness. Ulquiorra as always, did not falter.
Aizen sat at his seat in the front of the table as he radiated an aura of immense power and control. He had an habit of doing this, though most of them could handle it. The lower ranking arrancars near the room should have surely scattered away. He wouldn't have any evadroppers.
"I see you all have assembled here as per the orders I had given." Aizen clapsed his hands together as he surveyed their expressions. "That is good, but something I except from all you of in the future as well." Stark sat upright in his seat, sensing that the time called for it. Aizen smiled, he appreciated that sense of duty.
"From now on, we are officially at war with the seireitei." Aizen added, allowing the words to take seed. Some, like Nelliel blinked in sight worry before steeling their expression. Good, that was what was expected of them anyway.
Chapter 2: The meeting
Summary:

You will all fight and defeat captains and lieutenants as well as the like. After defeating them, they are to have their zhanpakto and reaitsu sealed— then brought back to this very palace as prisoners of war." Aizen smiled as he put emphasis on the word 'prisoners'. Clearly, a lot of them seemed perplexed and abit upset by this.
Grimmjow was to first to speak up. As temperamental as always.
"And why exactly not kill, lord Aizen?" He had asked, his voice carrying an visible tone of irritation that had already been given away by the twitching of his eyebrows and gritting of his teeth.
"Because I said so, Grimmjow." Aizen looked at the Espada before smiling harder. "They will be of no threat once their powers are locked away, as for why I had changed my plans— It's quite simple actually, after I become the soul King I cannot rule an empty kingdom and as gratitude for your help in my victory, you all shall have war prizes."
Stark raised his brow in confusion.
"War prizes?" The Espada had asked, unfamiliar with the concept of such things.
"Yes. War prizes; prizes for winning the war." Aizen retraited gently. "Of course, you all can choose which ones you want but I will reward them all equally. Consider it my token of gratitude." Aizen added. He could hear Gin slightly snicker. Aizen huffed, he knew why. Aizen wasn't actually very grateful for the existence of a large majority of them, excluding Ulquiorra and stark. But he still needed to give the captains and lieutenants over to them. He wasn't to kill them, oh no— why should he? Especially when he can make them suffer and live under his rule as slaves. With an special reminder of how they all failed their job. He would kill the larger threats though.
"Though, Genyrusai Yamamoto is excluded from this. Other than that, you will most likely not encounter any normal soul reapers. If you do—" Aizen paused, glancing at Nelliel and harribel. "— it is upto you on what to to with them."
Nelliel slightly smiled. Ah. Aizen found that the kinder ones were easier to control. Like a bunch of children, though speaking of which.
"Oh, and I almost forgot— there is another unique case I must tell you all about." Aizen garnered their attention before speaking. "I have a child."
Everyone looked at him like he had grown a tail and two ears. Gin chuckled. Was it really that surprising?
Grimmjow looked like he had choked on air.
Aaranneiro tilted its head. Possibly in complete confusion.
Nelliel smiled awkwardly like he had told an unfunny joke.
Baraggan fully opened his eyes. An strange sight.
Syzael just looked plain dumbfounded. Like he didn't understand something for once.
Zommari and Yammy just stared at him. How impolite.
Even Ulquiorra looked at him like he had said the most absurd thing in existence. The only ones not reacting were stark and harribel. Kami, was the fact that he had a child THIS shocking? He understood why they would be surprised but he felt frankly offended. He wasn't an bad father. Well, atleast not the worst one. That title would go to his own father.
"Is the fact I have an child that hard to believe?" Aizen asked, tilting his own head to look at the ray of bewildered Espada. He spoke in an amused tone, this was the usual type of reaction he would get. Even in soul society, with the reputation he built— people were surprised to know he of all people had an child.
"Hardly, lord Aizen." Nelliel added, smilling kindly. Having now composed her face. "It just came off as an suprise, you didn't mention your child till this very moment hence we all were quite shook by the sudden revelation." The female Espada caused before speaking again. "But I believe, your child may be just as smart as you."
Noitora snorted. Aizen glanced at him. Always trying to pick a fight, huh? How amusing.
"Well, you never mentioned having an wife after all." Baraggan added, lowering his face— closing his eyes. Aizen took note of the fact that the Espada had refrained from referring to him as lord. It seemed baraggan still held an sense of resentment. And pride. Though he would eventually passively break it, showing him his strenght.
"That is because I do not. I made that child with my own DNA." Aizen added. Stark nodded, understanding the concept. The others looked abit perplexed but kept quiet. Syzael looked like he had an question on his tongue but refrained from asking him. Well, he had would have an visit from the man after this meeting.
"Now, as I had been saying— I have a child. Their name is Sora. Sora Aizen." Aizen looked down at the table, sighing. "They look alot like me, you will recognize them when you see them. Their zhanpakto's name is Taisho Kotsu. It's an defensive zhanpakto which allows its master to make shields and shards of reaitsu. They're not very strong, for I made it so though it would do no good for anyone of you to underestimate them."
Aizen sat upright, his gave serious and smile gone.
"If you encounter my dear child, you are to bring them back to me." Aiaen narrowed his eyes, glaring at an selective few. "Alive. Unharmed." Aizen continued, raising his spiritual pressure. "If I find even an single bruise on my child, rest assured the punishment will be severe."
Silence engulfed the hall.
"Clear?" Aizen asked. Everyone nodded in response.
"Very well. The meeting is over. You will all shall receive your designation and opponents very soon." Aizen smiled
