Chapter Text
The rain cascades from weeping clouds, droplets precipitating onto the wet, muddy ground below. Trees sway as strong gusts of winds flew against them, taking with it the leaves that clung weakly on the branches. Frogs croak yonder near ponds and streams in search for their mates, and worms coming up from the ground under the heavy downpour.
A man's foot caused a small splash on a merky puddle. His walked with deliberateness and calculation on the muddy path. His half and half haori of yellow, green and red was saturated and wet, dripping with water as the rain soaked the fabric. His wet uniform clung to his body, outlining his lean muscles earned from years of training. His hair was wet, waterlogged by the rain and his lack of an umbrella. Though, inspite of this, he remained calm and composed, as if the wrath of nature was nothing to him.
However his sapphire eyes tell more about him than words could ever describe, things he'd seen, regrets still gnawing at his very existence and the silent yearning reflecting in those orbs that those who are ignorant would likely miss. No one knows the storm of confliction and guilt swirling in his mind, his struggles and the desire to end it all.
Tomioka Giyuu, a man shrouded in mystery. Not even his own peers could crack the hard layer he incased himself in. Perhaps it's better that he's isolated from them, perhaps it's better that he doesn't get attached. 'After all, I don't deserve to live. I don't deserve to be standing along side the other hashiras, nor do I deserve to be here.' Giyuu thought to himself, his head tilting down as he stopped walking, feeling a deep clench in his heart.
"Tsutako... Sabito... How better would the world be had any of you didn't die due to my cause. Sabito... you would make a better hashira than me. After all, you're more capable while I was just a weak crybaby. Tsutako... you could've built a great family had you not intervened to save me." Muttered the water hashira, wiping his face with his soaked sleeve. He continued his path towards his estate, a heavy feeling weighing down at his heart, a feeling so hauntingly familiar. Giyuu wrapped his arms around himself, letting the coldness of the rain envelop him in it's embrace.
Giyuu continued walking, arms crossed over his chest as more memories began to resurface from the depths of his despair. It was hard, too hard for him to let go of the past. He felt as if he didn't have anyone to run to, to seek comfort to, to spill his woes to. Of course, there's Tanjiro. But Giyuu didn't want to dump his traumas onto a child, even with how understanding Tanjiro is. Giyuu let out a shaky sigh as he lifted his head, his eyes darted to small lake to his right. Giyuu let his arms limp to his sides, his feet turned on it's heel and began walking towards the lake.
"I feel tired." Giyuu muttered. It's not that he felt tired due to his lack of sleep, he felt tired of everything. He felt tired of being alive, being miserable. 'The other hashiras won't understand, they'll never understand my feelings, they would never understand me.' Giyuu closed his eyes, walking blindly as he neared the lake. It was perhaps ironic that he's the water hashira, and that he'll die by water. But at this point, why did he have to care?
Giyuu stopped just at the edge. He opened his eyes, admiring the small lake. Rain drops fall on the watery surface, creating ripples and splashes. "It's.. beautiful." Murmured the water hashira as before taking a deep breath. He looked up at the cloudy sky, drops of water falling on his face, soothing and comforting. Mayhaps this isn't the most glorious death of them all, perhaps he won't die fighting. It almost felt embarrassing, but Giyuu dropped those thoughts. It's time to he free, it's time to become one with water.
Giyuu turned around, his arms outstretching on either side, he lifted a foot, letting himself fall into the cold water with a huge splash. He made no effort trying to float, he let himself sink in the merky depths, to finally drown out his sorrows and his life. 'I'm sorry.. everyone, Tanjiro, Nezuko..' Giyuu felt air leaving his lungs, he couldn't breath, yet he didn't panic. He felt his vision growing blurry, but before shutting his eyes, he saw someone jumping in, swimming down towards him. Then, everything went black.
...
'So.. this is the end I see. Tsutako.. Sabito.... I wasn't as strong as you both. I'm sorry.' "Giyuu?" Giyuu slowly opened his eyes to see a pair of ocean blues staring fondly at him. He could only recognize those eyes, those were his sister's. "T-Tsutako..?" Giyuu muttered, his voice shaky with shock. He slowly sat up, rubbing his head, he looked at her. She looked older, yet the same as the day before she died.. it's what she would've looked like if she's still alive.
"I..." Giyuu reached out a hand towards her face. "Is this.. really you?" Giyuu stammered, his palm caressing Tsutako's cheek. "Yes.. it's me." She smiled fondly as she gently placed her palms against the back of Giyuu's hand. "You've grown. You aren't the little brother I used to be able to carry around." Tsutako teased. Giyuu's lips cracked into a small, barely noticeable smile. A smile no one else has ever seen before.
"It's.. really you.." Giyuu immediately hugged her as tightly as possible, tears gushing down to his cheek. "I missed you.. I missed you so much... I'm sorry... I'm sorry I couldn't be better.... I failed you... I failed you and Sabito." Giyuu broke down, his body shaking as he wept on Tsutako's shoulder. Tsutako smiled softly, wrapping her arms around Giyuu.
"You haven't failed me, little brother." She stated as she pulled away, placing a hand on Giyuu's cheek, wiping his tears with her thumb. "I'm proud of you, Giyuu. I truly am." Tsutako smiled before standing up. "So I'm asking you to please.. live for us." She said, offering a hand to Giyuu.
Giyuu looked up, to his surprise, instead of his sister standing before him, now it's Sabito.. who looks much more older.. how he would've looked like if he survived the final selection. "Sabito..?" Giyuu muttered, he hesitantly accepted Sabito's hand, the latter helping him up. "It's me, Giyuu." He smiled, placing a hand on Giyuu's shoulder.
Tears began to sting Giyuu's eyes once more, seeing his best friend again after so long. "I... I'm..." Giyuu stuttered, unable to finish his words. "Sorry?" Sabito finished. Giyuu closed his mouth and nodded. "It was too much for you to bear, huh. The burden, the guilt, the regret. I'm sorry you were never able to recover from our deaths." Sabito smiled softly, placing a hand on Giyuu's cheek. "You'd be better off being the water hashira instead of me. You were more capable after all." Giyuu lowered head, closing his eyes.
"No. You deserve to be the water hashira. You are more stronger than what you think you are." Sabito stated, lifting Giyuu's chin. "I died for you, Giyuu. I died because I want you to live. Tsutako died because she wanted you to live. At least... try to live your life to the fullest. For us."
"But I can't! The guilt is gnawing at me everyday. I felt.. I felt as if I'm the cause of your deaths. I... if I was were stronger back then, and less of a crybaby then.. perhaps things would be different." Giyuu sniffled. "Shut up." Sabito frowned, slappinv Giyuu the same way he did that day, which left Giyuu in utter shock.
"You have said enough self discrimination. It's time for a change don't you think? You have so much to live for, so much to see, so much to fight for. You can't just give it up now. You've gone so far from the little boy I once knew. You don't have to feel guilty for a decision we both made. We gave you our chances, now it's your last." Sabito smiled.
"W-What do you mean I.. I'm dead." Giyuu said, but Sabito shook his head.
"Your time hasn't come yet, Giyuu." Said Tsutako, who suddenly appeared behind Sabito, standing just beside him. "You need to wake up." Sabito said as everything began to fade.
"W-What..? W-wait!" Giyuu called, reaching out his hand towards them, but they looked as if they're getting farther and farther away from him. "Say hello to Tanjiro for me, Giyuu!" Sabito smiled.
'What..? How did he know who Tanjiro is?' Giyuu thought to himself as he tried running towards them, but each step he took, they both grow farther and farther from him. "No! Wait! Don't go!" Giyuu pleaded, but both of them only smiled. "Until then, Giyuu." Tsutako's voice rang in his ear, before everything went black once more.
"Kay..."
"He.... est..."
"Alright."
Door closing noises
Giyuu's eyes shot open, his breathing erratic and fast as if he just resurfaced from water. He doesn't feel cold, nor wet anymore. Giyuu looked around, only to find out he's now in the wards of the butterfly estate. Giyuu sat up, placing a hand on his forehead, rubbing it, his mind reeling back to his encounters with Tsutako and Sabito. 'Was it just all a dream..? It felt too real.. as if... they were actually talking to me.' Giyuu sighed, sadness filling up his heart once more.
He wish he said more, but until then, he's gotta live his life. In a sense, Giyuu felt closure over the short lived conversations he had with his sister and best friend. At the very least, they both wanted him to continue living in their honor. "Ah, Tomioka-san. You're awake." Gyomei's deep voice pulled Giyuu out of his thoughts. He looked over towards the stone pillar who approached him, his towering figure looming over Giyuu.
"Himejima-san..?" Giyuu uttered as he rotated his body so he's sitting at the edge of the bed. Gyomei took a seat in front of him, looking at him with a serious, yet worried expression.
"Are you okay?" Gyomei asked, placing a palm on Giyuu's forehead, checking him for any fever. "I'm fine Himejima-san. But.. how did I get here?" Giyuu tilted his head as Gyomei pulled back his hand, placing it on his lap. "I carried you here after saving you from nearly dying in the lake. What were you doing in there?" Giyuu looked down, feeling nervous and a bit uncomfortable.
However, Gyomei immediately picked up Giyuu's discomfort. "Ah.. you don't have to tell me if you're uncomfortable." Gyomei said. Giyuu looked back up at the stone Hashira, his lips curved into a small smile. "No.. it's just... I..." Giyuu hesitated. Cold sweat started to secrete from his body rolling down his skin. "I.. tried to commit suicide." Giyuu finally admitted and everything falls into silence.
Gyomei's eyes widened just a bit, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Why..?" Gyomei asked. Giyuu looked down, feeling ashamed. "The past.. my regrets.. the guilt gnawing at me everyday. I just... couldn't bear it all.." Giyuu muttered. Gyomei sighed, placing a hand on Giyuu's shoulder. "Does anyone else knows about this?"
Giyuu shook his head. "No, they don't." Giyuu said. Gyomei closed his eyes, putting his hands together in a prayer, mumbling his mantras. "I should tell master about your mental health, Tomioka-san. This is serious." Gyomei stood up and was about to leave when Giyuu suddenly called out to him. "Wait, Himejima-san!" Gyomei stopped, turning around towards Giyuu.
"Can you.. stay...? Please." Giyuu muttered, his voice almost pleading. Gyomei's expression softened as he walked back towards Giyuu, sitting beside him on the edge of the bed. "Do you need anything else?" Asked Gyomei. "No.. I just... need you."

“I just... need you.” Giyuu muttered.
Gyomei's eyes widened just a bit, but soonly understood that Giyuu needs comfort. “Of course, Tomioka-san.” Gyomei said softly as Giyuu leaned against him, his eyes droopy and tired as if he hasn't slept in days, because he hasn't. Gyomei let's Giyuu rest against him, placing a hand on Giyuu's head, his large fingers intertwining with the water hashira's raven locks which are surprisingly soft and silky despite looking rough and spiky. The feeling of Gyomei's rough, calloused hands sent shivers down Giyuu's spine, but he didn't protest, rather, he felt comfort as Gyomei began to play with his hair. Giyuu leaned more against Gyomei, turning his body just a bit so he's in a more comfortable position. 'He's like a cat.' Gyomei thought, looking down at Giyuu whom Gyomei sensed to be enjoying the touch. In a sense, it was endearing for the stone hashira to feel (given that he cannot see) Giyuu in a different light than what the other hashiras say about him. It makes him realize there's more to Giyuu than what meets the eye, which lead to more questions popping up in Gyomei's head about the water hashira's struggles.
“Tomioka, I'm afraid I have to-” Gyomei stopped, noticing Giyuu's lack of movement. He moved his palms down from Giyuu's chest, noticing the slow rising and falling of it. “Ah..” Sighed the stone hashira, finding himself in quite a predicament. He felt too bad in waking the ravenette up, but it's already getting late and he needed to get back to his estate. Gyomei gently shook Giyuu, however the latter remained fastly asleep, causing another breath of sigh leaving Gyomei's lips. 'Perhaps it won't hurt staying with him.' Gyomei softly smiled as he scooted back further into the bed, leaning against the headboard of the bed. He gently lifted Giyuu up, placing him on his lap. Gyomei placed a hand on the small of Giyuu's back while placing his other hand on Giyuu's waist. Gyomei closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He's starting to feel tired from the many things that happened today. He feels rather worried for his fellow hashira, especially after Giyuu admitted that he attempted to drown in that lake. 'I'll need to have a word with master and the others about Tomioka's mental state, perhaps help him myself. Poor child, you don't deserve to feel what you're feeling, no one does.' Gyomei opened his eyes, tears rimming his bottom eyelids, eventually gushing down his cheeks. The thought of Giyuu suffering in silence brought a strong sense of protectiveness in Gyomei in which he never felt for anyone before.
“Oh my~” Shinobu's voice brought Gyomei out of his sea of thoughts. The stone pillar turned his head slightly to Shinobu who's peaking her head in in the door frame. She had her hand covering her mouth, her eyes were slightly wide. “Am I interrupting something..?” Shinobu smiled apologetically, seeing Gyomei and Giyuu in such a compromising position. Gyomei softly smiled, shaking his head. “No, come in.” Gyomei assured. The insect pillar walked inside towards them, sitting on a chair beside them. “He seems to like being on top of you.” Shinobu commented halfheartedly as she crossed her legs. Gyomei looked down at Giyuu, who's head resting against his chest as he quietly slumbered. He briefly smiled, but that smile so only curved into a frown. “He told me why he was in that lake.” Gyomei said, his expression and voice becoming more serious, which caught Shinobu's attention. The insect hashira cocked up an eyebrow, curious and a bit concerned by the tone of Gyomei's voice. “Why?” She asked.
Gyomei looked at her, silence stretched in between them for a moment, then Gyomei spoke. “He attempted.” Shinobu's eyes widened, she couldn't believe what he was saying. 'He attempted? Why?' Shinobu thought to herself, so many questions running in her mind. It took her a while to process what Gyomei told her. She didn't know Giyuu's mental state wasn't stable for him to actually attempted to kill himself. But she needed to know the reason so she could understand more about Giyuu's state of mind. “He told me it's because of struggles, guilt and regret. But he didn't elaborate after that.” Gyomei said. “I see.” Shinobu muttered, lowering her head and rubbing her chin, thinking to herself.
“Should we tell the other hashiras? If not, we should at least inform master about this.” Shinobu looked up at Gyomei, waiting for him to respond. Gyomei pressed his lips into a thin line, looking back down at Giyuu. He could sense him, in peace as he rested against him. “We should. We need to. If not everyone, then we should at least inform master about Giyuu's mental state.” Gyomei looked at Shinobu, his eyebrows slanted. The insect hashira nodded before standing up. “I'll tell him tomorrow. Are you.. gonna be okay like that, Himejima-san?” Shinobu tilted her head.
“I'll be fine like this. I don't want to wake him up.” Gyomei said. Shinobu nodded. “Alright then. Goodnight, Gyomei-san.” Shinobu smiled before leaving the room, leaving Gyomei alone with Giyuu once more. The former took a deep breath as he closed his eyes. Finally, he could get some rest.
...
Giyuu slowly opened his eyes, feeling the rays of the sun shining towards him. He lifted his hand over his eyes to shield them from the blinding rays as he slowly sat up, feeling well rested after a very long time. He couldn't remember much of what happened before he fell asleep, all he remembered is what he told Gyomei.. 'I just... need you.' Giyuu took a deep breath and looked down. He noticed Gyomei's green happi pooling on his lap. “Why is it..” Giyuu muttered, bur was interrupted when the door opened. Giyuu's ears perked up as he looked towards the door as Shinobu entered, carrying a tray of food and water, and also medicine. “Good morning Tomioka-san~ how was your rest?” Shinobu tilted her head, her lips curved into her signature cheery smile. She approached Giyuu, placing the tray of food on the nightstand. “Ah.. Kocho.. It was.. good, I guess.” Giyuu muttered as he took the bowl of soup and spoon, and began to eat. Shinobu's smile softened, seeing Giyuu eat without any protests. Usually, he'll just stood up and leave after resting.
“I see. Well, you certainly were comfortable on top of Gyomei-san last night.” Shinobu commented, ending with a chuckle. Giyuu flinched as he looked towards Shinobu with a shocked face. “W-what do you mean..?” Giyuu stammered as Shinobu broke into a fit of lighthearted laugher. “Gyomei-san was kind enough to let you sleep on him. Why else would his coat be on your lap?” She stated, still giggling. Giyuu's cheeks immediately flushed red, both from embarrassment, and something he couldn't quite put together. 'I.. Himejima-san let me sleep on top of him..?' Just the thought of it was crazy for the water hashira. He has slept beside Gyomei before in many of their long term mission, but huddled up to him? That was an entirely different story. “My... Tomioka-san.. you seem red. Are you okay?” Giyuu flinched again at Shinobu's question. He immediately looked away in an attempt to cover up his flustered face. “I.. I'm fine, just... leave me alone for a bit.” Giyuu muttered, his voice meek and shy. Shinobu chuckled as she stood up from her seat, looking at Giyuu with a knowing smile. “Alright. But one more thing, take the medicine right after you finished eating, alright?”
Giyuu looked over at Shinobu, his blush had calmed down, but there's still a hint of red dusting his skin. “Alright.” Giyuu nodded. Shinobu nods before taking her leave. Giyuu looked down at the soup, seeing his reflection on the broth. He took a sigh and continued to sip on the steamy soup. His gaze darted down towards Gyomei's coat, he stared at it for a moment. He placed the bowl on the tray, he took the cape and brought it to his nose as he inhaled the scent. It was familiar, it was comforting. It still smelled like rain from yesterday. Giyuu immediately realized what he was doing, so he quickly placed the cape beside him on the bed. His face heating up again. 'What are you doing, Giyuu!' he scolded himself as he rubbed his temples. He groaned, he can't do this. Giyuu grabbed the bowl of soup and continued to eat, trying to get his mind off of things. He'll have to return that to Gyomei later, but for now he'll just do what Shinobu tells him.
After eating and taking his medicine, Giyuu left the ward and headed out of the butterfly mansion, still wearing the light blue long sleeve and light blue pants that Shinobu's patients usually wear. On his hand is Gyomei's happi which he neatly folded. “Alright... just take it to Himejima-san.” Giyuu mused, but then he heard his crow. “CAW! CAW! OYAKATA-SAMA IS REQUESTING TOMIOKA GIYUU'S PRESENCE IMMEDIATELY! CAW! CAW!” Giyuu's head tilted up at his crow circling on top of him. 'What does master need?' Giyuu cocked up an eyebrow, but figured Kagaya would elaborate once he gets there, so Giyuu wasted no time and headed towards the master's estate despite what he's wearing.
“I'm here, Oyataka-sama.” Giyuu announced. “Please come in.” Said Kagaya. Giyuu nodded and headed inside, sitting just a few feet away from Kagaya. “Apologies for my attire, master. I just got out of the butterfly mansion.” Giyuu uttered. Kagaya smiled softly as he nodded. “No need, my child. Though, I'd like to discuss a rather... Serious matter with you.” Kagaya's gaze bore through Giyuu, making him feel more nervous than he should be. But he doesn't know what his master wanted to talk to him about. “I heard what happened yesterday, about you jumping into lake. Or so what Gyomei had told me.” Giyuu's stomach churned as Kagaya mentioned what happened yesterday. “I also heard from Shinobu about your mental state, about how you attempted suicide in that lake.” Kagaya's tone grew more serious as he gets more worried.
“I... I'm sorry Oyataka-sama...” Giyuu could only murmur, unable to say anything more. “Child.. when you have problems dealing with yourself, remember that you have your comrades. If not them, then you can come to me. I'll always lend an ear towards your struggles.” Kagaya softly assured as he tried to stand up. Lady Amane helped Kagaya, assisting him as he walked towards Giyuu, wrapping his arms around his head. Giyuu closed his eyes, feeling a heavy weight tugging at his heart. Tears rimming his bottom eyelids, ready to gush into waterfalls. “Thank you, Oyataka-sama.. I'm...” Giyuu couldn't continue his sentence as he was choked out by the whirlwind of feelings. “I know.” Kagaya whispered, letting Giyuu pour his feelings out.
...
After that meeting, Giyuu felt as if a weight has been lifted off his chest. He has never had anyone to talk to about his past.. well, not anymore since Sabito's passing. And so, he made his way to Gyomei's estate. Hopefully, he's still there so he could return Gyomei his coat, which made Giyuu realize that he's never been in the stone estate before. It made Giyuu feel a bit awkward coming unannounced, but Gyomei wouldn't mind that, not at all.
“Oh, Lord Tomioka.” A kakushi greeted Giyuu, bowing respectfully before him. “What brings you to the stone estate?” Giyuu stared at the young male for a moment, pondering something before finally answering. “I just need to return this to Himejima-san, if that's okay.” Giyuu said, the kakushi nodded. “I see. Then allow me to give it to him.” The young man held out his hand, waiting for Giyuu to give him Gyomei's coat. “N-no, I'd like to return it to him personally, if that's okay.” Explained the water hashira. The kakushi understandably nodded and spoke. “Or course. Please follow me.” The kunoichi turned around and headed inside as Giyuu followed.
The young man lead Giyuu through a series of hallways before finally ending up in an open garden where Gyomei is meditating. The kakushi cleared his throat, yet Gyomei remained in his meditative state. “Lord Himejima, Lord Tomioka wants to see you.” Announced the Kunoichi before taking his leave. Gyomei slowly opened his eyes, his head slowly turning towards Giyuu. “Tomioka, what is it do you need?” Gyomei asked, his voice a soft rumble, which made Giyuu's heart race.
“I'm here to return your coat to you.” Giyuu said, walking over to Gyomei, handing him his cape. “And also.. to say thank you. For saving me and well...” Giyuu's words trailed off, not knowing what to say next. Gyomei let out a small chuckle as he gently grabbed his happi from Giyuu's hand. “No need to thank me, Tomioka. I'm only doing what needs to be done.” He said, a slight smile forming on Giyuu's lips. He didn't know why he felt so warm inside, perhaps... Because Gyomei saved him, let him cuddle against him or... Other things he's not gonna name, but whatever it was, deep down, Giyuu longed for Gyomei's touch once more. “I'll be taking my leave now.” Giyuu said as he turned around and was about to walk away, then..
“Wait.” Gyomei's voice stopped Giyuu from walking. The latter turned around just as Gyomei stood up, dusting off his clothes. “Allow me to escort you back to the water estate.” He said. 'Escort me?' Giyuu thought to himself. Why is Gyomei suddenly willing to go with him to the water estate? Giyuu didn't know, but he couldn't say no either. “Alright.”
The walk wasn't rigorous, yet due to the intense rainfall yesterday, it left the path all muddy and puddly in it's wake. However, Giyuu paid no heed to it, neither did Gyomei. They walked side by side in silence, yet Giyuu couldn't help but steal a glance from Gyomei from time to time, silently admiring the stone pillar in his glory. He hasn't felt a feeling of admiration such as this one since Sabito, yet those memories were still aching in Giyuu's heart. Yet, he chose not to let it overwhelm him, taking in from Kagaya's words. He shouldn't let the past dwell on him much longer, or else he won't get anywhere in life. Yet, recovering from trauma is far from easy. Some just don't, and that's rather unfortunate.
“You've been stealing glances at me for quite a while now, Tomioka. Is there something wrong?” Gyomei suddenly spoke, causing Giyuu to jump out of surprise. The ravenette immediately diverted his gaze, feeling awkward. “No.. there isn't.” Giyuu mumbled. “Alright.” Gyomei nodded, but he could definitely feel that Giyuu has something more to say, he just won't utter a word. “How was your meeting with Oyataka-sama, Tomioka?” Suddenly, Gyomei asked. Giyuu pressed his lips as he looked ahead. “It went just about as well as it could be.” He said. “You told him everything?” inquired the stone pillar. “Yes.” Giyuu mumbled. Gyomei grunted in response, satisfied with Giyuu's answer. “Good.” He commented.
They both stopped as they reached their destination. The water estate stood before them, it was barren, devoid of life, just as Giyuu requested it to be when he moved inside. “Uhm.. Himejima..” Giyuu muttered. The stone hashira turned towards him, one eyebrow raised. “Uh... would you mind having... tea with me. Just a token of my gratitude for saving me, if that's okay.” Giyuu said somewhat awkwardly, it's clear he's not used to this, not used to being the one to offer something instead of the other way around. He didn't know why, mayhaps he just enjoys.. Gyomei's company.
It took a moment for Gyomei to answer Giyuu's proposal, but he smiled. “Of course.” Gyomei nodded and headed inside with Giyuu. The latter lead Gyomei to throughout the house, inside was more lifeless than outside, and Gyomei could feel it with each echo of his footsteps. But the stone hashira is not one to judge, it's what Giyuu preferred. Giyuu prepared a table for them, placing two teacups at opposite ends. “Please wait a moment.” Giyuu said as he left the room, presumably to the kitchen where he starts to boil water in a teapot.
Gyomei sat there, waiting patiently for Giyuu. He couldn't help but notice how expressively shy Giyuu has begotten today, he could tell Giyuu got a lot more timid, especially around him. He could feel Giyuu's gaze at him pretty often, especially during their walk. Gyomei could've ignored it and thought nothing about it, and yet when he asks Giyuu, he stutters nervously, which doesn't usually... 'Wait.. now that I think about it..' Gyomei suddenly remembered the numerous of times where he could feel Giyuu's nervousness when he's around him, and the numerous amounts of times he could sense Giyuu's flusteredness whenever they'd end up in compromising positions. Gyomei was usually fast to pick up the signs, particularly when someone has a crush on who.
However, Gyomei's deep thoughts were interrupted when Giyuu walked in, carrying a steaming pot of tea. That's when the stone hashira realized how much time has already passed since then. “The tea is ready.” Giyuu announced as he approached the table. He got on his knees and carefully poured Gyomei his tea, before pouring his. Giyuu set the teapot on a tray as he moved over just opposite of Gyomei. “Thank you, Tomioka.” Gyomei said as he gently took a sip of the hot tea.
Giyuu grunted in response. “I should be the one thanking you.” He said, taking a sip of his own tea. “You.. didn't have to go through all the trouble, really.” Giyuu murmured. “If I hadn't, you'd be dead.” Gyomei commented. “Yeah... but...” Giyuu sighed, he didn't know what to say anymore. He stared at Gyomei, his heart racing. “I wasn't talking about... you saving me. You know... last night... Shinobu told me.” Giyuu said, his voice meek and quiet. 'Ah... he meant that.' Gyomei somewhat calmed. “You needed comfort, so I stayed.” Stated the stone hashira, taking another sip of his tea. “I.. have to admit, that was the most rest I've gotten after so many years.” Said Giyuu, making Gyomei's eats perk.
“What do you mean?” Gyomei tilted his head, setting down the teacup. “Ah... well, I've been dealing with insomnia for years now. The most sleep I've gotten on a normal basis is close to 4 hours.” Giyuu said. “And you didn't tell master?” Gyomei cocked up an eyebrow. “I did before when master noticed how tired I am during meetings. That's why he gave me jasmine tea, but they never really work on me.” Giyuu said. 'Ah.. so that's why.' Gyomei thought, he felt sympathetic for his comrade, not only does he dealt with heavy loses, but also insomnia. There's so much more he needed to learn about Giyuu, so much. It's almost incredulous that Giyuu is still able to fight demons despite of his state, it's admirable, yet also concerning. “Have you told Shinobu about this?” Gyomei asked. “No.” Giyuu muttered, earning a sigh from Gyomei. “Right..” Gyomei uttered. “Is there anything I can do to help you with it?” Questioned the stone hashira. Giyuu looked away, feeling his cheeks burning. 'I don't know why I'm feeling this way...' Giyuu sighed to himself before facing Gyomei. “Could you... I just.. need someone beside me when I sleep. I guess.”
Gyomei nodded in understanding. “Then I shall spend the night with you, is that what you want?” Giyuu's entire face turned red. He knew Gyomei didn't meant... Whatever he's thinking, but why did that came off so explicitly? “I'd love that.” Giyuu stammered. He looked away, feeling warmth all over his body. He should stop this madness, Gyomei is just helping. It's not like anything would happen between them, not in a longshot. After their tea session, Giyuu showed Gyomei where he sleeps. He set up two futons, blankets and pillows for both of them to sleep on. Giyuu got dressed in his sleep clothes while Gyomei... Well, Giyuu didn't have anything that could fit Gyomei, but the latter insisted he sleeps in his demon slayer uniform.
“Are you comfortable, Himejima-san?” Asked Giyuu hushly. The room is already dim, the candle which illuminated the room no longer burned. Gyomei is tucked beneath the blanket with his forearm behind his head. He briefly turned to Giyuu before speaking. “Yes.” He said. Giyuu nodded. “Goodnight.” Giyuu's eyes slowly closed, however, Gyomei's eyes remained open. It's not that he's uncomfortable, which, the futon was extremely comfortable which is quite understandable since Tomioka needed something comfy to be able to sleep, but the thought of his colleague not sleeping for days. It made him worry more and more about Giyuu's lifestyle the more he learns about his life. Gyomei turned his head towards Giyuu, noticing how fastly he is asleep, eye bags clear in his bottom eyelids, suggesting the long hours he haven't slept. Gyomei closed his eyes for a brief moment, but then, Gyomei sensed Giyuu's discomfort. He hears him tossing and turning on the futon. “Giyuu?” Gyomei slowly whispered, yet the water hashira only responded in slight murmurs.
“No no.. Don't go... no no... please Sabito...” Mumbled Giyuu, his voice sounded shaky and panicked as if he's having nightmares. “Tsutako.. no.. no..” Again, Giyuu murmured. Names not even Gyomei recognized. He didn't know who Sabito and Tsutako are, but by the sound of Giyuu's voice, he seemed to worried and panicked. 'Did something happened to them?' Gyomei asked himself, however he didn't have the answers to those questions. Gyomei rolled onto his side. Giyuu sounded scared. He wrapped an arm around Giyuu, pulling the water hashira's back against his front. Gyomei didn't realize how small Giyuu is compared to him, though he knows Giyuu is about one inch shorter than the wind hashira, Sanemi. However, with Giyuu against him in such a way, Gyomei couldn't help but feel... Protective over the water hashira. And It wasn't the normal kind of protectiveness he always feel whenever he's protecting innocent people and/or animals.
“It's okay now Giyuu, I'm here..” Gyomei mumbled. The ravenette immediately calmed, feeling the big man's body and embrace against his back. It brought peace and content to Giyuu, one Gyomei immediately noticed, which brought a soft smile on his lips. He closed his eyes, burying his nose in Giyuu's black locks, inhaling the scent of Giyuu's hair.
...
Sun streamed through the windows of Giyuu's bedroom, illuminating the vicinity with a warm glow. The futons Gyomei and Giyuu sleep on are now messed up, one of them was a few feet away from them. However, the two laid together in eachother's arms, looking comfortable in eachother's embrace. Giyuu was the one to open his eyes first, and when he did, he immediately came face to face with a chest. He looked up to see Gyomei, still in a deep slumber. Giyuu's face reddened, tuffs of his hair stood up like a spooked cat. 'Shit..' Giyuu tried to hide his blush, not that Gyomei could see it. Giyuu gently pried himself off of Gyomei's arms, but to no avail. The former stopped struggling as he looked back up at Gyomei, noticing how.. peaceful the stone hashira looked while asleep. Giyuu's heart began to raise, he didn't know what to do, but he wants to stay. To be like this with him for as long as Gyomei could be asleep.
Giyuu couldn't help himself. He slowly and subconsciously reached his free hand towards Gyomei's face, not aware of his actions. He felt his palms touch Gyomei's cheek. The stone hashira's skin was soft, so soft. His thumb lightly caressed the area, and Giyuu felt mesmerized. He didn't know why, why he was feeling such things for a man such as Gyomei. He has for a long time, but he's never been this... Close to the latter before, not after a long time. It was such a long time since he had a crush on someone, the last one was Sabito, but before he could confess his love, he died. Such thoughts crushed Giyuu's heart whenever he thought about it, and in a way, the pain still lingers. 'What could've been if Sabito didn't die...' Giyuu thought, but he tried shaking that off. He looked back up at Gyomei, only to find his eyes now open, his head tilted down, facing him. Giyuu's face reddened even more as he immediately pulled his hand away. “Oh god.. I'm so sorry, Himejima-san!” Exclaimed Giyuu, now he felt like he sounded a lot like Mitsuri. Well, they do hang out sometime, the majority wasn't out of Giyuu's will. The water hashira managed to roll away from Gyomei, his back turned to the stone hashira. Giyuu had his hands over his face, he just wanted to get swallowed up by the floor. “It's... Quite alright.” Said Gyomei, though there was a hint of surprise. “I... I should.. go ahead and make breakfast...” Giyuu stood up, not facing Gyomei. The tip of his ears were evidently red as he speeded out of the room, but of course, Gyomei is blind. He couldn't see them, but he could sense, hear and feel Giyuu's flusteredness and shyness.
“I'll be there.. shortly.” Said Gyomei, placing his hand where Giyuu's palms has been. He didn't know why, but it felt.. good having Giyuu's hand caress his cheek. Gyomei shook his head. 'You're a monk, Gyomei, be more modest.' He told himself. He got up from his seat, following after the water hashira. Gyomei walked through the relatively large estate, going through a myriad of hallways leading to dusty rooms unused before he finally reaches the kitchen, where Giyuu was currently cooking. The scent of delicious food wafted in the air, bringing forth hunger to Gyomei's stomach. He could sense that Giyuu is relatively in a good mood, well aside from the shame Gyomei could feel radiating through the water hashira's body. “Himejima-san. The food is ready.” Announced the ravenette as he turned around, seeing that the stone hashira is already sitting on one of the tatami mats in front of the table. Giyuu brought in the food, serving it to himself and Gyomei. “I.. hope you like them.” Giyuu muttered. “Of course.” Gyomei smiled as he grabbed the food, bringing it over to his face. He opened his mouth, taking a bite on it. His eyes widened as imaginary flowers emanated from his rather pleased expression. “Might I say, you're a good cook, Giyuu.” Said Gyomei, who took another bite of the food. The water hashira was pleased and happy that the stone hashira liked his cooking, 'But since when did Gyomei started referring to him by his first name?' Giyuu thought, but he didn't say anything, well if they're on a first name basis now, he should at least do the same. It would be awkward if Giyuu is still referring to Gyomei by his last name. “I'm glad you liked it, Hi-Gyomei-san.” Uttered Giyuu with a tone of awkwardness. He's... Not used to this at all, but he felt like he could. Is this what Shinobu is saying by 'you need to socialize more, Tomioka-san.' Perhaps.
The two continued eating, until they finished. “Do you need help with washing the dishes?” Gyomei asked, but Giyuu denied, “No need. I can do it myself.” Smiled the water hashira as he stood up. He realized how much he's changed since his near death situation, and his smile wasn't just a light, barely noticeable one, but a literal full on smile, a smile which Gyomei could sense. He's glad he's able to make Giyuu happy, since the water hashira is known for being gloomy almost all of the time. Giyuu gathered the empty dishes, bringing them over to the sink. He placed them in the bowl of the sink and began washing them, removing the grime and food grease. “You know, you don't have to do everything to thank me, Giyuu.” Gyomei stated. However, the water hashira pressed his lips into a thin line. “That's the least I can do for you, Gyomei-san. Even if you tell me that you were only doing your job.” Said Giyuu.
“Yes, I know.” Gyomei paused, looking at Giyuu. “However, I've noticed your behavior around me as of late.” Gyomei commented, making Giyuu's body tense and rigid. “You're always nervous around me, often stuttering your words, especially when we're on missions. You often heat up when I'm near you, or when we get accidentally close to eachother.” Gyomei cocked up an eyebrow. “What exactly do you feel towards me?” Asked the 7ft tall giant. Giyuu's heart began to raise, thumping against his chest as if ready to burst out at any given moment. Beads of cold sweat began to roll down his skin, his mind unable to process an answer to Gyomei's question. “I...” Giyuu stuttered as he slowly turned his head towards Gyomei. Despite the man's blindness, Giyuu could feel the intensity of the way Gyomei looked at him, waiting patiently for an answer to be brought upon. Giyuu was scared to confess, of course. He's afraid of rejection, or worse... “I understand if you're not ready.” Said Gyomei as he stood up, turning around and was about to walk away when.. “No! Wait.” Giyuu said, almost pleading, making the man pause in his actions. “I.. like you.” Giyuu mumbled. Gyomei, turned back around to face Giyuu. He could feel the sincerity in the water hashira's words. “A.. and I don't mean platonically... ah... how do I say this...” Giyuu scratched the back of his head, feeling a heavy weight being dump on him. He grew more and more nervous, and scared. What if... What if Gyomei began to distance himself? “You love me, am I correct?” Gyomei spoke, taking the words out of Giyuu's mouth, leaving the water hashira speechless.
Giyuu swallowed a lump as he lowered his head, his lips trembling. “Do you.. hate me?” Asked Giyuu. “No, of course not.” Gyomei assured as he approached Giyuu, lifting his chin up. “I've Already connected the dots. I just needed to hear it directly from you.. to make sure I wasn't getting the wrong idea.” Giyuu froze. 'So Gyomei already had an idea..' “It's.. okay if you don't feel the same way.” Giyuu looked away as Gyomei removed his hand on his chin, Giyuu's voice held a hint of sadness, yet understanding in them. “I didn't say that I don't feel the same way.” Gyomei said softly. “Giyuu, I want you to be sure that you're making the right decision. I don't want to see you heartbroken when things won't turn out well.” Gyomei's eyebrows creased. “I deeply care for you, Giyuu, I really do.” Gyomei mumbled. “Then kiss me.” Giyuu said, making Gyomei's ears perk. Giyuu's head rotated towards him, Gyomei could feel the water hashira's determination. “I want you to know that I'm making the right decision by loving you, so please...” Giyuu pleaded. Gyomei closed his eyes and nodded. “If you insist.” He said, bringing his lips towards Giyuu's. Their lips pressed together in a passionate kiss.
For Giyuu, Gyomei's lips were soft and sweet, even better than what he'd dream of. Giyuu wrapped his arms around the back of Gyomei's neck, pulling the tall hashira down closer to him. Gyomei's hands found their way on Giyuu's lean hips, which were a bit small compared to his hands. Their kiss deepened, their eyes were closed as if trying to feel eachother to the fullest. Then, their heads tilted either side, their mouths began to move in a delicious rythm. Giyuu moaned, Gyomei grunted. They felt their air supply running out, but does It matter when they're both locked in on this passionate moment? Giyuu felt as if he's over the moon. He could feel the warmth radiating off of Gyomei, warmth he so desperately need. After what seemed like an eternity, both of them pulled away from eachother, a strong of saliva connecting their lips. Both of their cheeks were burning red, but all they—Giyuu could do is stare at Gyomei who's also breathing as heavily as him. “Giyuu..” Gyomei muttered. “I need.. you..” Giyuu murmured. Those words Gyomei has heard once, now he's hearing a different meaning woven into the sentence. It's not just about seeking comfort anymore, but now it's something more, something Gyomei has never ever done before. “Are you sure..? Are you sure you'd be able to handle me?” Gyomei asked in a hushed tone, he needs to make sure Giyuu would be okay with this. “Yes, I'm sure.” Giyuu said, his voice firm and unyielding.
The stone hashira immediately swept Giyuu off his feet, carrying him into his arms. Gyomei took Giyuu into the bedroom, his footsteps loud and heavy. Once there, Gyomei slid the door open, heading inside and sliding the door close behind them. Gyomei laid Giyuu on the bed, he could sense Giyuu, nervous yet excited. “Undress me..” Giyuu ordered, but that order sounded more like a plead than a demand. “Patience, Giyuu.” Said Gyomei leaning in for a kiss. Giyuu gladly welcomed Gyomei's lips once more, feeling anticipation and excitement for what's about to happen. Gyomei pulled away and began undressing Giyuu, taking off the water hashira's blue long sleeves off. His calloused hand began exploring Giyuu's body, feeling the dips and bumps of Giyuu's muscles and abs, his mind mapping out Giyuu's torso. “You're quite thin..” Gyomei commented. “I know..” Mumbled Giyuu, but then he immediately moaned when he felt Gyomei's lips sinking into the skin of his left shoulder. “You need not to feel shy, my dear. I like you just the way you are.” Gyomei's statement made Giyuu's heart flutter, as Gyomei's lips travelled down towards his chest, leaving hickies in their wake. Gyomei's lips manages to find their way into one of Giyuu's nipples, where Gyomei began to suckle on them. The water hashira let out a load moan, being relatively sensitive to getting his buds touched or sucked on. Gyomei imprinted it on his mind, taking notes on the parts of Giyuu's body where he is more sensitive. His hand began to play with the other nipple, plucking and twisting it, adding more to the sensations Giyuu is feeling.
After a bit, Gyomei pulled away, though he couldn't see the hickies he imprinted on Giyuu's skin, he is rather proud by the sounds Giyuu made because of him. Gyomei grabbed the hem of Giyuu's pants, slowly pulling them down, revealing Giyuu's hard, aching dick. Gyomei slowly leaned towards it, opening his mouth, taking in Giyuu's length. The water hashira's body shuddered, his back arching as Gyomei took his cock into his mouth. “Ah! Gyomei-san.. your mouth feels.. good...” Giyuu moaned as Gyomei began his ministrations, his lips and tongue doing wonders towards Giyuu. The water hashira grabbed a fist full of Gyomei's hair, his fingers intertwining with the locks as he guided the large man's head on his cock, but careful not to go overboard. Gyomei cannot deny that Giyuu is rather large, which Gyomei estimated to be 6 or 7 inches max. Slightly above average length. Not that Gyomei has sucked dick before, truly, it's his first time doing so, so he doesn't really know what to do. But hearing the noises Giyuu makes, Gyomei thinks he's doing quite a good job. “Ah.. Gyomei... I... I'm about to cum..!” Giyuu breathed out, and just as he warned, he exploded inside Gyomei's mouth, his seed shooting down Gyomei's throat. The stone hashira closed his eyes, feeling the bitter, salty yet.. delicious load. Gyomei pulled away from Giyuu's cock, his lips dripping with Giyuu's sperm. He crawled over towards Giyuu, pressing his lips towards him. Giyuu could taste his sperm in Gyomei's lips and tongue as they both locked lips. After, they both pulled away, panting and heavily breathing. “How did I do?” Breathed Gyomei. “Y-you were amazing..” Giyuu said, placing a palm on Gyomei's lips. The latter smiled as he sat up. “Do you have any oil?” Gyomei asked. Giyuu nodded, pointing over to the closet near them. “Bottom left drawer.” He said. Gyomei stood up and knelt in front of the closet. He pulled open the bottom left drawer and retrieved a bottle of oil. He got up and approached Giyuu, sitting down in front of him. “I gotta prepare you first, or else you might get hurt.” Gyomei softly uttered as he popped open the bottle of poil, putting some on his index. “Spread your legs for me, Giyuu.” Giyuu immediately complied, spreading his legs open for Gyomei. The stone hashira brought his finger towards Giyuu's entrance, “Are you ready?” Asked Gyomei. Giyuu nodded, “Yes, I am.” He affirmed. Gyomei nodded as he pushed his finger in. Giyuu gasped as he felt Gyomei's thick finger slide into his hole, his back arched as Gyomei pushed it in deeper. “Ah..! Gyomei-san...!” Giyuu moaned. “You're surprisingly looser than what I imagined.” Gyomei commented as he paused. “I... uhm...” Giyuu felt a bit awkward and embarrassed. “Have you slept with.. anyone before?” The stone hashira tilted his head. “N-no I... Finger myself a lot..” Giyuu embarrassedly admitted, causing a small chuckle to escape Gyomei's lips. “I see. I'm glad you've been preparing way before, or else this will take longer.” Gyomei said as he pushed his finger all the way in, curling and twisting it inside, trying to find Giyuu's prostate. Throughout the process, Giyuu couldn't help but shudder, moan and groaned. Gyomei's fingers were thick and calloused, Giyuu could feel it's roughness scratching against his inner walls. It wasn't unpleasant, more so, it felt good, too good that Giyuu felt like he's cumming again. Then, Giyuu felt it. Gyomei Giyuu's prostate, causing the latter to immediately cum once he pressed on it. “My...” Gyomei chuckled. Now Giyuu felt even more embarrassment that he came so fast, especially once Gyomei pressed on his prostate gland. “Sorry..” Giyuu stammered.
Gyomei chuckled. “It's fine.” Said the ston hashira as he began undoing his pants. Giyuu watched intently as Gyomei pulled down the fabric, revealing a... Dangerous and intimidatingly large dick. Giyuu's breath hitched, his mouth hanging from his jaw. 'Oh.. shit..' Giyuu swallowed a lump. He expected Gyomei to be hung considering his humongous size, but THIS??!?! It's so big and thick too, Giyuu didn't even know if it's gonna fit. “I... Hope you like it.” Gyomei said, now feeling a bit timid. He's never let anyone seen his dick before. “I.. i-its.. beautiful..” Giyuu manages to stammer out as Gyomei lifted his legs. The stone hashira positioned himself in between Giyuu, the tip of his penis directed on Giyuu's entrance. Gyomei poured more of the oil on his dick as he slowly stroked it. Gyomei took a deep breath, the sensations of jerking off... It was new to him, such as having intercourse. He slowly pushed in, causing Giyuu to hiss and grit his teeth. “Are you okay?” Asked Gyomei softly. “Yes, keep going..” Giyuu pleaded. Gyomei nodded as he continued pushing himself in, he did so slowly, but surely, he wouldn't want to hurt Giyuu too much. “Ah... let me know if it's too much for youz we can stop if needed.” Said Gyomei. 'Gosh... it's so big... it's so big... Gyomei is so big..' Giyuu thought to himself, his back arched the deeper Gyomei pushes in. It felt as if the dick is reaching his stomach, yet as he looked down, 'IT'S NOT EVEN HALF WAY IN?!'
“Are you okay..?” Asked Gyomei. Giyuu flinched and grunted in response. “Yes it... it feels... good...” Giyuu uttered, the sensations overwhelming him. “Is.. is it fully in..?” Asked Giyuu. “A quarter of the way in. Are you sure you could handle more?” Gyomei's voice was worried as he asked that question, he could sense that Giyuu is struggling. Maybe this was a bad idea. “No! Keep going, I... I've been waiting for this for so long. Fuck...” Giyuu breathed. “Language, Giyuu.” Gyomei softly warned as he kept pushing in. 'How deep is this man in?' Giyuu didn't know, but then his stomach began bulging, making his heart nearly stop, then he felt Gyomei's legs against his bum. “Ah... you're.. tight.” Gyomei stuttered as he began thrusting. Giyuu whimpered and moaned with each thrust, sending pleasure and adrenaline through his veins. His toes curled as his hands clenched on the sheets of his futon. Gyomei slowly, and carefully thrusted. He needed to make sure that Giyuu is comfortable throughout their intercourse. “Ah.. f-faster...” Giyuu begged. “Are you sure?” Gyomei asked. “Please..” Giyuu pleaded. Gyomei began to pick up the pace, going in a little more faster. Gyomei grunted, moaning at the sensations of Giyuu clenching around his dick. He could feel his self control slipping away, the need to overtake and dominate began to resurface, years and years of training to remain In control of his self and his desires were beginning to become nothing. 'Be gentle... be gentle... gentle.. be gentle...' Gyomei told himself, but even so, he felt as if he couldn't control himself. Even with the pace he's currently moving, it felt like torture to him. The need to dominate Giyuu, to go rough, to go animalistic is starting to affect him, his movements and his mind. “Ah... Gyomei... I... love you...” He heard, he heard slip out of Giyuu's mouth. Something snapped in Gyomei, his thrusts began to become fast, his hips slamming against Giyuu's ass. The water hashira gasped at the sudden fast pace, the gentleness Gyomei exude dissipated almost instantly, replaced by an animalistic hunger for pleasure. Gyomei grabbed Giyuu by the shoulders, pulling the latter against his body on his lap. He moved his hands on Giyuu's waist, his fingers digging into Giyuu's plump peaches as he guided the ravenette up and down his dick. Giyuu's arms wrapped around Gyomei's neck, his head buried against Gyomei's shoulder as he rode the larger male. “Ah! Gyomei! Ah! It! It feels- good!” Giyuu moaned out loud. He threw his head back, the sensations were overwhelming as he grabbed onto his cock, jerking it off on sync with his body moving up and down on Gyomei's dick. “Ah.. Giyuu... you.. feel.. so good...” Gyomei murmured, leaning in to press kisses on Giyuu's exposed neck. 'Is this what pleasure feels like? It's so addicting, Giyuu is so addicting... I feel bad for betrayinv my morals, but.. ah.. Giyuu, you do things to me like no other..' Gyomei thought to himself. He couldn't believe the sensations, the feeling of lust and desire. He just wants this continue again and again, for some reason, hearing Giyuu moan out his name turned Gyomei on even more. Then, they both came. Giyuu collapsed onto Gyomei, panting and heavily breathing as if he just ran a marathon. “My... apologies for going too rough on you, Giyuu...” Gyomei mumbled, feeling guilt and regret for not controlling himself more. “No... I... You did great. You were.. you made me feel things I could only ever dream of feeling...” Giyuu's tired voice rang in Gyomei's ear, those words he spoke. It brought a sense of happiness deep down inside Gyomei.

EXTRA
...
After hearing about Giyuu's near death situation, Mitsuri along with Shinobu decided to pay Giyuu a visit. On Mitsuri's right elbow hangs a basket filled with yummy treats she cooked up herself to hopefully cheer Giyuu up. “Do you think Tomioka-san would like the food I made?” Stammered Mitsuri, who's cheeks are red from embarrassment and shyness. The insect hashira beside her gave her a chuckle before responding. “He'll eat it, I'm sure.” Commented Shinobu as they both stopped in front of the water estate's gates. “Tomioka-San?” Mitsuri called, however nobody answered. “Perhaps he's on a mission?” Shinobu asked, as Mitsuri shrugged.
“Wait.. do you hear that noise?” Mitsuri whispered. Shinobu cocked up an eyebrow as she listened. There's indeed a noise coming from somewhere inside the estate. They were... Moans.. “You're right.” Shinobu mumbled. “Come, let's go in. Tomioka-san might be In trouble.” Said Shinobu as Mitsuri nodded. The two women entered the estate, following the source of the noise.
Eventually, the noise lead them in front of a room. Both Mitsuri and Shinobu looked at eachother, as Shinobu slid open the shoji just enough so she could take a peak inside. Her eyes widened, her face turning red. 'T-Tomioka and... Himejima..?' Shinobu's mouth was hanging from her jaw as she saw the... Lewd and... Passionate scene in front of her of Gyomei and Giyuu having sex. “Shinobu-san? What's going on in there?” Mitsuri said as she also took a peak. She froze as her eyes widened at the unexpected sight, her jaw dropping on the floor. Her face reddened, more red than Shinobu as she watched the intercourse between Gyomei and Giyuu. She was speechless, extremely speechless.
Shinobu closes the shoji and turned arount towards Mitsuri, who's blushing from embarrassment and shyness. “Let's... go have a picnic...” Shinobu muttered, grabbing the frozen Mitsuri and dragging her out of the estate. That scene .will forever be engraved in Shinobu's mind.

HOLY CRAP, 7K WORDS IN ONE CHAPTER? This is the most I've written on a single chap. Also, to the person who wanted the part to of this fanfic, sorry if it didn't lit up to your standards. I absolutely suck at writing, especially dialogues, describing things and smut 😭
