“Fuck…This is fine…this is-…My kids are safe…They have Carlos and Lando…that’s all-…all…they…need…” Daniel slowly closes his eyes.
Hours later…Daniel opens his eyes, Bright lights blind him, He groans.
He was in a hospital bed.
“He’s awake.”
Daniel heard, He turns to the left and sees Carlos, Lando, Alejandro and Little Carlos.
“Papa, Are you okay?!” Alejandro worryingly asked.
“Are you okay, Papa?!” Little Carlos cried.
Daniel nods.
“Daniel, What happened? We got call from Max saying that you were bleeding out on the trail to the cabins.” Carlos explains.
Then it hits Daniel…
“E-Esteban…!”
“Esteban?” Carlos questioned.
“Oh! That new hunter! Sergio, Max and I think he has a crush on you!” Lando said.
“What?” Carlos said.
“N-no! H-he-Ah!”
“He’s a vampire! He threatened-“
“Daniel…You’re scaring the kids…” Carlos said.
“Papa…Are you okay?” Little Carlos asked.
“I-I’m sorry…”
“Where’s Esteban? Was he there laying on the ground?” Daniel asked.
Carlos and Lando looked at each other.
They turn back to Daniel.
“Daniel…There was no one there but you…” Lando said.
Daniel couldn’t believe it…He’s still alive…out there…
“But Daniel…Don’t worry about him…You’re alive and with us!” Carlos said.
Daniel turns to him…He stares at his eyes…Then at Alejandro and Little Carlos…Then at Lando…
He calms down…
“You’re right…”
3 months later…
Daniel had to take Alejandro and Little Carlos out of school just in case.
They all started living together in Daniel’s cabin.
“What?! We’re half wolf?!” Little Carlos yelled.
Daniel, Carlos and Lando laugh while Alejandro and little Carlos were shocked about the news.
“Yes!” Daniel laughs.
“And Dad’s a wolf?!” Alejandro yells.
“Yes!”
“Is that why we have sharp teeth?!”
“When do we get to transform into wolves?!”
Alejandro questions.
“Not until you’re…Thirteen.” Carlos said.
“Awww!” They both said.
“How about we turn into our wolf form?” Lando said.
“Yes! Yes!” Alejandro and Little Carlos chanted.
“Okay, Okay! Just this once.” Daniel said.
Lando and Carlos both got up, Got behind the sofa and formed into their wolf forms.
They were the size of a bear.
Alejandro and Little Carlos stared in amazement.
“Can we ride you?!” Little Carlos asked.
Lando grabs them and throws them on his back.
He started running through the house.
Daniel smiles as he watched them.
Carlos walks over to him and sits, He licks his face.
“Aww…Eww.” Daniel said.
“How’s your injuries?” Carlos asked.
“They hurt a little…but…I’m good…”
“Carlos…”
“Yes, Daniel?”
“…When I was…fighting Esteban…”
“Hm?”
“He…almost bit my neck…”
“What?” Carlos furrowed his eyebrows.
“He almost bit me…And…I couldn’t stop thinking…What if he did? What if he took me away from you guys-“
Carlos stops Daniel by kissing him, Tears started falling down both of their eyes.
“Don’t say that, Daniel…You’re here safe…with us…”
“Don’t think like that…Okay?”
Carlos licks his tears away, Daniel giggles.
“Okay…”
Carlos lays down next to Daniel on the couch, He lays his head on Daniel.
Alejandro, Little Carlos and Lando were laughing.
Daniel couldn’t believe it…He had met two people who he thought were normal but turned out to be wolves…He fell in love with one and had his pups…
He never knew he would have a family with him…He smiles as He kisses his head…
